"A larry's they're great. Yeah like you think you're talking about what tone inviolate gets like movie. Nerd context. It's like a tour theory. Basically the director is the author. The movie in like that is definitely a thing that in the nineties. We had like a big research. Is that with like wes anderson. Pt anderson david a russell and spike gels tarantino and stuff and then now we do have a second one to some extent with guys like nolan miller and jordan jordan. Peele very clearly has a tone in a you know puts his signature on every movie in like. It's interesting because when that originally that was originally like a seventy staying but even like in the ninety s when you had like it's a second wave of tours if you will that wasn't marketed. That way even like miramax who was like releasing most movies by those were they were doing it as prestige movies because of those filmmakers but like now people brand it as christopher nolan movie or as a jordan peele movie and and that's kind of lake an impressive new thing also with tv shows too. I being like a you know. I keep mentioning pitcher but jason. Bateman is a fantastic director if you see his episodes ozark and they're very similar. Because i remember seeing an episode of ousama. This feels like that. Jason bateman episode of ozark. Didn't it said directed by jason bateman. Got it so. He's got his own specific pitcher like tone he he decides to do with like a fool feature thriller. I guarantee you'll get a bunch. Ask him out. He did a dark comedy. That was very well directed. I forget what it was called about a spelling bee. It was that was a pretty funny. I liked the movie in general. It's very very well directed. He also used to do a lot of commercials in have company. That just did commercials and he directed some really the commercials. He's awesome i i just. I don't think he directed just watch game night on an airplane and that was the funniest thing funny that it was a really funny movie that exists. It's just so funny guy who's the neighbor i was the answers plant plumpton. I can't remember. Oh jessie just one particular in everything and some have somehow the i when you watch when everyone in the world is watching breaking bad and jesse plummet showed up the way he behaved in. That made you think that he would be cornered forever because he was so particular. I thought that was just contain movie based on a real story but like that's sometimes i work really really hard on things and then i see they made a movie based on when some guys played tag for and it makes me feel real sad as well. We read a script that i wrote in college for screenwriting class and a time. You know this is humor in two thousand seven was way different than it is in twenty twenty one right. Yeah and i bought a bunch of comedy friends to read the script and none of them ready before. So we're all a with. Our audience is in remember reading it. And each person i booked on the show was like in their own way brand. You're gonna get cancelled this gets out. This is just like the the train of thought the care through the belt it was supposed to be like a young version of that will be brick with a that ryan johnson joseph gordon levitt but it was like these like eight year old kids. They're trying to find a ipod every all talk like in that movie. Like oleg gumshoe detective lake and it's just badshah crazy and so i'm really worried about this. Go into the public masses. Dvd's do remember getting super excited about when the but really what it was was they just Added in everything they cut out and made. It seem like they were doing more. You know it'd be weird when my parents are here like that's that's the difference that'll happen. That scene will be on my parents in no matter. Since i have taken the area and or we've talked and bengals with you and i guess i should start off with a little bit of an apology on that front. Because we had everything set up and then it was just kind of a freak deal and Went to the er and the whole thing so not not fun but getting through it and happy to be back talking with you. All about the bengals about mandatory minicamp and all kinds of different things going on with the cincinnati bengals with the afc north with the rest of the nfl. There's a lot of news to get to. it's been an entire week. i can't even can't even believe it. It's been an entire week before we get to the news. I want to let you know aside from this show. He was one of those guys that everybody was kind of pulling for. Unfortunately had a pretty bad injury but has gotten into. Coaching is the defensive line coach at the university of toledo. So bengals are bringing him back in this coaching program. Mike brown wide receivers coach at the university of cincinnati Tessa grossman a grad assistant in sports performance coach at illinois state university A graduate of dartmouth college which i believe runs pretty prominent dartmouth college alums in the brown family. So they've got a good A good pulse on things there. Steve langa hopefully. I am pronouncing that correctly. Offensive quality control coach at the university of north texas And then It is bill. Welsh bill walsh fellowship program. Obviously bill walsh spent some time with the cincinnati bengals so the bengals bringing in five Coaching interns. They're pretty cool stuff. There's been a lot of talk. I think the last time. Unfortunately not last wednesday but the wednesday prior we talked about jesse bates in his ranking in this pf system and all this kind of stuff but basically there is some good news here. The bengals secondary overall is listed in the top. Half by of the nfl by pro football. Focus you know. Say what you want about that but that does speak a little bit of volumes. Based on the fact that the bengals lost william jackson top corner they did bring into dobie a ymca. They did they're getting back. Trae wayne's they brought in mike hilton. They added von bell last year. Of course they have jesse bay twos emerging as one of the best defensive players in all of football it the unit ranks fifteenth in the nfl by pro football focus. Ben lindsey of pro. Football focus writes quote a collection of secondary starters that includes trains to dobie a woozy. Mike hilton von bell won't necessarily scare opponents but there aren't many weak links in this group. Either the bengals have done a good job. Solidifying the unit through free agency over the past few offseasons. It kinda reminds me a little bit with the bengals. Have done in the secondary this year. If you go back to like the first few years of the andy dalton era member. They lost jonathan joseph. We'll have more on him and a little bit. They lost johnson joseph to free agency. They got like nate clements. They got terence. Newman they've got reggie nelson. That was in twenty ten and they kind of collected these guys via trades and free agency. And all this kind of stuff and all of a sudden day You know they ended up kind of piecing together through different means a pretty solid secondary. Not one that was absolutely outstanding but one that played pretty. Well under mike zimmer and obviously that's the hope here with this group performing well under lou room. Oh mike zimmer was familiar with quite a few of those guys in that secondary before he got to the bengals in now You know this is kind of a little bit of a similar deal. Flew in a remote guys.
