"Him he could have the last day off. We've set up home now, except it's a big thing going on in 94 we'll find out if that stud as you were hearing a little bit earlier 94 westbound was closed earlier this afternoon, Ed Would it be funny if John Wyatt No. Missed his report? One last parting shot will see. I'm guessing you'll be It's time for rapid traffic going on 94 West phone. I'm checking, but I think they are right does not know. I was just waiting for an update. Yes, they have reopened 94 westbound on Highway 83. From that earlier roll over. It was just west of Highway Cool Freeway, And that 83 is Nero con amok. That delicate Delafield. Well, is that a big interchange out there, so their backups rollover accident and John's going to tell us about it. Guess it sounds like it's now ended. They did. They cleared the roadway and the backups, though still pretty nasty, going all the way back to highway as S and salad out past Highway 83 that will start to work its way out. And that's in the area where the interstates down to just the two late, there's only two ladies. That's a really back up. And another problem up in Washington County North bound US 45 just before the highway 33 exit. You've got a semi that went into the ditch there. They've got a tow truck on the scene. Get that vehicle back onto the pavement. But with that late with a lame closed there, you've got backups that start around paradise Drive. Thanks to a tip collar. Getting that message to us from the low that tip light actually did some good. Didn't it paid off? Paul, who's the most famous Wisconsin athlete ever to wear number 33..

"They get their season, especially those kids that are right on the bubble for a scholarship, who need their senior citizen senior citizen there seeing your season. To prove that they're good enough to get 15 19 news talk 11 30 ws. It's time for rapid traffic. Okay, so, looking up. I was looking at the PBA music that you were talking about. You were laughing at right. I think of the football. Was I right about Jake. I'll know you're wrong, right? No. It's George Benson's breeze in No, no, that then you've got the wrong what? It was the jail if I think about it long enough. That must have been later. But when? When Chris Schenkel and Bo Ben boat Nelson is here in the eighties, the early eighties when they were so popular on Saturday because I know this because I grew up. In a bowling alley. That show was on for 35. True, so it might. It might have been, too. I wouldn't confuse George Benson's breezing, I'm sighing isn't jump. That was Van Halen. I'm trying to think of what the side was that I was thinking of the J Girls there that And they used around. This was back in the era, you know on which, if you're a sports fan and poor like me and get enough cable, there are three candles. The watch. Yeah, That's what sports like bowlegged had their day. I know I'm talking about the world of sports would come on after that, and you see the guy falling off the ski hill, the agony of defeat and all of this that I'm talking about, like the Earl Anthony Mark Roth era. You know when they were so all those guys were so popular Did he die in Wisconsin? You lived in Wisconsin? Yeah, I think. Did he die here? He didn't know he had Earl had a heart attack. Like early in life. I mean, Early, Anthony what he started out he had like this is like, like, everybody was growing their hair long All these guys look stupid with longer. Earl had this buzz cut like he was still a drill, sergeant. And then when you're a Caillebotte and all of a sudden, Earl did have the buzz cut anymore. I think about Earl Anthony was that he was left handed, which I still remember bullies, Clayman. That left handers had a tremendous advantage in bowling because their side of the lane wasn't used as much. And Yeah, and there are other people who argue just the opposite that it helped to have a groove and that the left hander's had a disadvantage. I don't think that's another argument that was never resolved. In the meantime, I'm going to come up with Jake Kyles did the theme for the Pro Bowler's Paul Every time. John Wyatt corrects me who turns out to be wrong. No, no, no. I actually found video of the music playing in the background. So I mean, I You know that Tracy, I did not say it was for the entire 40 years. It was that I don't know what era That would have been Paul Think Paul has people that I don't try? Trust me on this. Whatever The correct answer is, it's not going to be anything that anyone calls you up and tells you He didn't even know what we said. Did you do the traffic it? I did not. We've got delays on 94 westbound approaching Moreland Road. E of a broken down vehicles getting towed out of the way that watch bored. Slow from sunny Slope Road 43 North bound, looking at heavy traffic north of silver Spring drives. Yeah, that's it. Hey, God, John. Okay. What was the name of the sign? Centerfold. Bye. Jiggles. Bad was the theme of the pro bowlers. That lady, is this OK? That's late eighties. Then I guess I I don't reckon that I don't remember what's which side was wet, But I do remember that. That s so I was right about that They were both right. No, You said I was right. I never said it was the on ly what they ever used. That would be like saying who did Monday Night football, and I said Howard Cosell, you'd say no, That's right, Al Michaels. There were they both did it. You remember who the first team was that did Monday night football. So the first year I know. Yeah. Dad Booth. Oh, boy. I know I know this story, but I can't remember the names. Well, Howard Cosell obviously is one of them was in the first booth. Okay, MEREDITH. Levi Plague. I lasted one year in the candle and brought in Frank Gifford in the second year, Keith Jackson. Oh, right, and he and Cho cell I've been alive had been Keith was moved over to college football, and they brought in the opportunity to have Gifford who, Of course, Howard Cosell never got along with anybody because he's in the boot drunk the whole time and well, and he just knew everything and wouldn't let anybody else get a word in my life. I am not going to criticize somebody who thinks they know everything and interrupts everyone and doesn't allow anybody to talk. That would be wrong for me to criticize yourself that some would suggest that that would be the ultimate glass house with me with the story of the hand where we're You want this traffic from the lynch GM superstar? That's what you were saying something I interrupted. I'm sure it was vital. I'm sure it wass. You don't even care. I was Lynch Lynch, Lynch Lynch, GM Superstorm Burlington Total traffic center say Paul that you knew when John Wyatt tried to say I was drugged, then I was going to be proven right about this. It's another one. Why would that possibly come into my mind? J. Geils Band in the theme for the Pro Bowlers tour that you were fun, those things that you just would not occur to you that would be like What would you like Anything it almost defines itself. That would be like, Think of the J. Kyle's band did the pro bowlers tour with what a weird song to choose the number that I thought it was bizarre. That was George Benson play a little bit of like jazz drummer got tired. That wouldn't make sense. The whole point of bringing it up is I thought it was bizarre. That's the only reason I remembered. You think it was this? This was This is the theme of the Pro Bowlers tour. And I'm saying today.

"See how Dave Michael says it's in the city and John why it says it's not I'll go with John Wyatt I would normally not go what's on why it but I'm gonna go with John Ryan and this is partly because once I said it I thought it was kind of wrong it's just a I think it's well wherever it is now you're gonna people try to call up and down I tell you that we have gotten some indication by the way that the Walworth County Board did this afternoon cable that's stupid ordinance that we mentioned earlier in the program as a result of our call to action self the people who listen to that topic a bit ago about that over reach ordinance that they had in place that again this is a perfect example of citizens finding out about something government did contacted others we got it on my radar again just because you put something on my radar doesn't mean I want to talk about on the show I've judgment is you have to make it I just made the decision to stick that went out there and they did table the ordinance we are told by some hi look at the box and Walworth county and I'll try to reduce the dental way later in the program for people who didn't hear the initial discussion anyway back on this decision with the county fair these are the backbones of many communities and we've all been muddling our way through this virus thank you can't go to a box gave me CAC order brewers game many people are still that you can go to church they only let twenty people then you got to be ninety miles away from somebody else and we can debate all of these things when taxpayers thou I got a fork out good money to operate something like this and you're talking about operating them in areas that have had almost no instances of this virus at all when you see people cave anyway I think the overriding instinct is just you know I think it'd be a pretty easy summer did not have to do any work I understand human nature what exact or understand it life actually that list is getting smaller and smaller I'm still surprised I understand human nature you know they said to me mark because of this virus how do you like to not do your show for six months but will pay anyway I actually like doing the show and boy I think my voice is been needed lately but I can see the temptation just like the public school teachers Hey how about it because of the fires we close the schools don't make you do anything and pay you what were you going to go for that and I think that's what's going on in Washington County unless they all lay themselves often stop will put down the money because the health needs they call up a county fair in the middle of July when our society is screaming out to be able to go out and do things John was just talking to me about the car races the June sprints are coming up at Elkhart lake we'll talk to him with traffic in like less than sixty seconds and we both think there's gonna be a big crowd again it's an outdoor bed you people can spread themselves out and there's a vast a huge segment of the population that wants to go out and start to do some of these things it does is say if you don't want I don't I try to be graduate all the a little bit W. firing anybody to go to these things I also think that they would actually all these events would have bigger years than normal because so much else is called off there are so few things that we can DO the Washington County decision is especially obnoxious to be given that they created this separate agency for the sole purpose of writing a fair it's the only thing they have to do and they decided not to do what at a tide that many other counties are choosing to do their fares I'll pick up at that point above it it's three fifty to a new stock eleven thirty WISN time for rapid traffic polkas where it is yes the town of pork on a pork what if they did that after James Knox Polk I'm sure I'm sure I would say he's one of the least known presidents we've had but maybe the most one of the most consequential when you consider what I just said yeah right why I love presidential history but I I if you had a pap everybody name all the presidents I doubt well that's what would be one of the more one of the most all made of all of her president that that whole crowd from maybe Jackson until Jackson the Lincoln was real anonymous a lot of guys a lot of people don't know like the Millard Fillmore and you know he was he was that he was that the Millard Fillmore is there's just I guess I I know that may because bill Graham named as rock hall in San Francisco Fillmore west that that he had filled bar you stood I don't think he named it after that but that'll be a plus I caught a we had a Fillmore street add I think we must they had a class in grade school or something where they told you the history of the streets or something because that that would kind of suck to be so we had a Fillmore street but what you don't see a lot of Polk street studio well there's the totem pole yeah I mean that's what the watch it because I was gonna say that's what what's with the fairground dance it's not with the fairies because you don't have what forty one south Bonnie catching some crowding is you get past capital drawdowns hurriedly he died right after he left office well he worked himself to death literally worked himself to death John why it's good to have the James that's cool yeah right I.

"The Democrats know they can't have an actual convention sending thousands to Milwaukee, and so on because they are the ones that all over the country still have their own states on lockdown. Illinois still lacked out. New, York is still lacked out. Barrett still has parts of Milwaukee. Lockdown. So they. would be the obvious case of talk it out of both sides here both that they said okay. It's perfectly fine. Have a convention. We're all on top of one another evidence, the ultimate there's no social distancing and those things and that. So, they'd have the ultimate mixed message. They're claiming that trump is being reckless and trying to reopen all this stuff. They can't say trump's being reckless and tried to reopen with all the convention like normal, so they have to do this again which they do. Like, a fake virtual convention in Milwaukee! The lack into that position. And prompt has made the calculation. The trying to go on the other direction. I mean president trump every time. He shows up one of these briefings now he's talking to over opening this reopening that it's all this the only thing that he talks about. He's even gotten Fauci to change his tune pouches. Now. You know there's a lot of risks if we keep this lockdown going on for much longer complete covered yesterday's program reversal position with regard to him. The one thing I hope most people have picked up on I. Keep saying this all the time and. I was not ahead of the curve and picking up on it. I just my head of the media. Is that understand trump just three steps ahead of everybody else he always is. It's UNCANNY. Kind of regret. That I wouldn't pay more attention to Donald Trump before twenty sixteen I just thought he was goof. That older few hotels. A few junk bonds did a few reality shows. and. You. Know had goofy hair. He was just i. just got a thought of MS like Howard Stern on running hotels. That's what I thought I'd never really want. Did you ever watch the The apprentice shows ready apprentice his right. Yeah. What is the one that Cuban is on? I accept those shows, but the the. there's the one where they were. They come in and they make business pitch, business plans, and so on. In a magazine and I read chunks of the original one the art of the deal, the famous one. Way Back then I thought there were a lot of interesting ideas and that, but I'll be honest. Gadgets assume that this is like a ghostwriter was working through that like a lot of celebrity books are written in. "To the ball, and the only restaurant that I saw in there was Krispy Kreme. There was no fast-food Senate. crispy cream must be doing something but now. It looks like hundreds and hundreds and hundreds of people. If you are if you have a student, who's graduating in two thousand twenty. If you bring anything that shows like. Whatever you know something that shows that you had twenty twenty graduate. They're giving you. A free dozen can't be diploma. They haven't had any graduation. It's you know some kind of how many doughnuts do you get a free dozen? That even cost caustic crispy cream like twelve bucks. So. You know what else people have to do, so you might as well head to crispy cream. You're talking to the guy who. Can't stand in line for anything. No, but if you don't have a job today and you got nothing. You are correct. Nothing else. You know. I'm. Just I would be one of those people. That probably would have a hard time with not being able to work now. I've got an outlet for my doing the show, and so on and I've always said that I could easily be one of the idol people that has nothing to do because I find things they do, but there's nothing nothing to do in other words. There's no ball games to go to those those sports to watch on TV. You can't do this. You can't do that. Somebody restrictions. I'd probably be a little stir crazy still. I was almost rather sit on my butt and stare at the wall, the NBA at any kind of allied. Well. If. There's something at the end of the line, so that's that's why we're seeing these backups on. Me Like. That, it could have been a two hour line that they were awaiting it. Yeah, I don't know how quickly they're getting everybody through there, but yeah, it's definitely bottling things topic. Show them the thing and then they got to. You can't just show anything in which I say. My son is John Wyatt and he's graduating this year. You must have to show him. Something and somebody asked the look at it. I would imagine they. Are they giving you the actual donuts or a coupon? The don't know the yeah. You're in line to get the donuts so well. How can they even have all that? Many donuts on the premises? There must be a truck behind these stories that. I assume they make tons and tons ahead of time. I'm sure they knew what they were in for the you haven't seen any of these lines that you just reported got. I drove I drove bat by that intersection at highway, one, hundred national Paul interested a little worm, thinking he can get because he's got. A daughter graduated from college. I I could not do it I just. I. How how can it possibly be worth sitting on the line that long just to get the door? That's I'd rather go to a store and pay the twelve dollars especially since everybody's swimming in muddy with all these stupid stimulus checks that are sitting right now. If, you want to, and you have nothing to do. Paul when I watch twenty two, there wasn't a day in my life I had nothing to do. There was always something to do if there was nothing to do while. That might have. Nothing to do you know what I did? Drank matter but you're thinking of a time when there was something to do, there's nowhere to go. What else is there to do? So you might as well that we know money we're in the economy was in the absolute crapper. There was five hundred applicants for every job, but there were always things to do. Plus that was the era in which we weren't afraid of anything at all I mean an. Era when you were unlike these little wissies now that we've created, we weren't afraid of literally anything I mean. If you saw a guy riding a motorcycle. What the Hell did you think he was the biggest baby of all time I mean. Do anything you wanted to do. Cliff diving stuff was invented by generation all this stuff that even I was too afraid to do. So you know you're right? We always had a million things to do. And then the great fallback was if there was nothing else to do, you could drink. Yeah you're right now to happen any still. This is at least as entertaining as anything else. That's going to remember. I have said that if God wants to send me to hell, he's just GonNa. Make it a line that you're in right all right mind that just never ever ever ends at the end of Time I. Don't think that there's anything worse than life. That allied I've. Paul said to the pearly gates. No I think the whole point would be that. The I think that's what happened is no lying's ever again and held us all lines. At least that's what it would be for me. You're okay, mark you're having you know what this means. What's IT GONNA be like up here. Well. Here's what it's going to be. You get a pass to go to the front of every lied. And when you see all those people in line. They're actually not up here in heaven. They're in hell and they never actually get ahead. Because these people with passes always keep putting in front of them. Probably I think just committed ninety seven. I don't think any of that is in revelations in there. I don't remember that part, but who knows forty three ninety four northbound at the Mitchell interchange. We've got a car into the barrier walls. Speak Cream donuts. They're not any good for you. Who can in them? That's good for I'm trying to eat healthy right now, but it's all bad. It's sugar at its we'd and it's. They they deep. Don't they? Deep Fry those things are. How do they cook those? Yes, they drop them into Greece. And then they put. They squirt in this league. Yeah, I've never been a big doughnut fan. In general it's it's there too over the top and sweet for me I think. Well, so we know you won't be in line, but everybody else I, mean they? They could give you a fifty five thousand of them and one hundred dollar bill besides I'm not going to get in that. You should see that lied. There's Paul all excited by this line I mean that doesn't this that people are sheep this? Probably that are people that are in that line. They don't even have a kid. That's graduating just end a lot older. There must be something good in this slide. Let's get in lied. Can't just like shutting everything now? Worship getting the line the Li-. Get getting ally getting along the way. That's the whole problem. We have too many people willing to get in line because they figure. If everybody everybody else was no. No, they don't. They're all just in lied and then at the end of the line. They're getting crispy cream zone. Where were you? Why won't you finish the traffic? forty-three.

"The home might have to be under positive pressure for the cold air to go. Right. So you have some sort of a pressure issue. So negative pressure positive pressure in Atlanta, Georgia. Houses pull air suck air in Minnesota. They blow except that's what we're good at except in the summertime our houses act like they do in our houses act like they do in Atlanta. They're going to they're going to pull air. Sure. And so, you know, you really have to look at that we built to a heat standard in Minnesota. But there's also this huge issue with respect to mortar less warm to incite cool. And you have to be cognizant of that. So ceiling those areas up when you inspect an addict before you put a refund maybe you look at the mechanical through the through that ceiling and seal up all of those electrical connections through that double plate on the walls and the interior walls. And what have you maybe you look down in the flu the old school flew on on the furnace and water heater. You might be able to look and see the basement through attic, doesn't you think of that convection that's going on there in the stack affect of creating that waster in there. Now we joke. Doc because you know, we call you the mad scientists or whatnot. But I think the the truth behind that is that you and your your team of people at your company really deal with the brains of the operation, if you will if you're looking at home, and and you figuring out what's really protecting. It the pretty stuff on the outside is great. You know, you can see that. It's you know, it's a shell or whatnot. And it looks really good. But you guys deal with more of what's behind the scenes and protecting the home and some of the products, maybe just named some some of the products that you so we represent king span insulation we've been with kings fan green guard for twenty one years, and we are the manufacturers reps for that. King span is a global company and they make a product that. I'm really excited about the brand new product called cool therm and in two inches. It's an are sixteen and it also has some real cool fire characteristics. It's a new product for the United States for that application, usually. So I built a new home this past summer and used cool firm on the exterior. Wall. So I have an art thirty wall with continuous insulation to the exterior while and support phone Dacian. It's the installation on the outside. Then I have the installation on the outside of the below grade or upward foundation. So it's two inches and then two inches of the thermostat finale. Cool therm above grade. Wow. And then on the inside in the basement, I used one inch of extruded polystyrene sort of our it's an our fifteen assembly. "Funeral procession is underway and traveling along both Rawson avenue east all the way almost all the way to the lakefront 'em, and they'll be turning north along the Pennsylvania stretch up to seven hundred four and then getting on seven hundred four and that's where they are right now. I haven't quite gotten onto the lake Parkway at this point. But they have shut down all of the on ramps to northbound seven ninety four and shortly. They'll be closing all of the on ramps to ninety four westbound. So if your normal commute goes along those routes be prepared because that training is coming so working downtown. It's fair to say just go have a beer on water street because it's going to be a little while or join a lot of the folks who are lining the route even better idea. Yeah. And a lot of folks, you know, waving American flags as the procession goes by so very cool that way, and this is also going to have a lot of traffic on the. Opposite direction of the procession slowing down. So be prepared for that. If you're looking at ninety four eastbound or seven hundred four southbound right now, expect those delays also to start to build. Fortunately, we don't have any major issues out. "It's time for rapid transit. Address. But you thought it was affected. You picked up excerpts. Oh, I watched. I watched tons and tons of of clips I've seen probably the whole speech. Always miss the good stuff. You know? I just I purposely can't watch it live. It makes me crazy. So I have to wait. And why I just you didn't think this has been great stuff. I do not know. Plus it was too long too long. Oh, I just I it was gripping. There's no way. I could have turned it off. This is this was Trump creaming. Yeah. Democrats. He did creaming. I'm because the way did you ever? You know, when he showed nobody else gets the play the only people that can offer a contrary opinion goose like you, maybe take a caller or two that are in there. He had total control of the situation. I thought he'd whip him. And I thought he'd take advantage of the situation. This was much better than even I thought that he would be able to do, you know, the the fact that the Democrats when Pelosi just straight away when we had the shutdown where we're gonna cancel the state of the union. They did not want this event to occur. And as I said earlier, I think it's one of the things that resulted in Trump keeping on the shutdown. He wanted this speech that go on any new that the Democrats could not justify continuing to have cancelled. If there was if the shutdown was over when he gets them to stand on lines that he. Delivers like the one about socialism. Like, the one about all the women in congress. He got them to stand up, and at the end of that applause, if you play the whole thing out there chanting USA USA like they would hate that. They hate it. When people chant USA USA and yet at the end of some of his lines. They were the ones doing it to which he's got him on a string at that point. Yeah. And that's what I said about how elegantly this was pulled off would often follow these flowery high-minded things that even they would have to cheer for by going to hard conservative policies, or at least his policies and directly bring home that point after it seemed as though they were accepted having to accept his premise, right? "Delays still recovering from the year earlier closures involved with the procession for the police officer earlier that had ninety four eastbound closed. A delays still remain from eighty four th street to thirty fifth street. It's eighteen minutes to get from Morland road into downtown ninety China's the procession over. Yeah, everything's there. Everybody is at the they were going to the county courthouse, essentially where the medical examiner's offices. So that's that's where everybody was going through downtown off of the kill Rintoul offramp to to get into downtown. Okay. I did they go to freighter the came from freighter. That's what I thought because the body was taken to freighted, right? And then the procession went from freighter, which is obviously not afraid it is down in downtown. So it was only a ninety four eastbound that this happened. Was there a separate procession that occurred earlier today, probably not because of his body was obviously. Taken immediately from the scene of the crime out afraid it. So the only actual procession was the one they went from from plank road out to out to I forty one. And then I from forty one obviously, they went towards downtown through the zoo interchange and the whole freeway was closed during this time. Highs wouldn't get on into the middle of it. Right. So that's why we're still dealing with those eastbound delays, and then a lot of traffic slowed people even pulling over along the median to watch the procession go by at some point. So the opposite direction. Traffic was also backed up in response to the procession going the other way, we've got delays on forty three southbound that run all the way from capitol drive into the Marquette already eighteen minutes Brown deer to downtown of forty-three ninety four southbound slow off the high-rise down to the K K. It's time for traffic one big problem on the freeways, but I'll pass this along to the circus Soleil show that was supposed to be at Pfizer form tonight at seven thirty has been postponed or cancelled for tonight, and they'll do the rest of their performances, and you know, go to the website, you can figure out the rest of. Yeah. Because they have more than one. Yeah. They're they're doing a bunch of shows tomorrow Saturday like two shows on Saturday and Sunday. So you can probably exchange tickets for a different performance. But let them figure that out on the website. Right. So if you were. Is it really that many kids is it? I don't think. So although it would be a cool separately ever seen the ones that Vegas pretty much. Yeah. Well, obviously not out there. But yeah. So it's typically the people have seen in the past want to see it again and typically adults because they've been to Vegas, but yeah. So if you were on forty three seventy their shows that I have I've been to oh at at Blasio people say that's the best one. But I think they do the Beatles show though, too. Don't they do love or not? Not certain lay. Yes, it is. I just don't know which casino that one. Yeah. That's that's a Mirage. And their first one was they did a different one. Trying to think what the first one was that. They did they did a bunch of the like the only circus that's left because we can't have circus that has animals anywhere unless you're telling the elephant to walk around the circle. So it's all that aerobatics and high production values, and they do incredible athletic things. And that's what that's what it is. So Cirque du Soleil is this is now the last thing that has not been canceled. Apparently everything is now now and has no cancels now has so there's nothing to do tonight. Forty three southbound we've got a little bit of good news here with this crash at just before Hampton avenue. They had the entire freeway shut down at the Silver Spring exit. They did just opened up one lane. So you're getting by in the far right lane with that crash. But obviously some heavy delays. But actually, not terrible considering with the light volume that is out there. But the backups do start south of bender road. If you had for an alternate like port Washington road. "We're looking at maybe some of the coldest temperatures we've had in our area in about twenty years. Ed, people are bringing back the winner of nineteen eighty two and had some really really cold bitter days that are in there. So it's going to be really cold. But it got me to think about a couple of things. I like almost every school already closed NPS is even close today apparently above zero is too much for M P S. I don't know how many days they mentally into this that I didn't whether or not they ability, Pat, and these schedules they have to the schools have to make up all the days that. They cancel. I mean, the risks. They take yours. What if we have like four or five six seven eight of these days in February. We're only in January ad there. Anyway. All these schools are closed and companies are I I think the status that our manager said something out is use your own discretion or something. Okay. I've used I'm using my own discretion. I can't do the shoulder. But I just can't I just can't imagine. I could walk into my car. Started up drive to this called get out of the car Waku steps to the door and come in. I just can't imagine that. I got into this John Wyatt yesterday. I I really hate cold weather. I don't like it at all standing like anything about it. I like like eighty degree weather in walking around with the sun Ponant up my goofy body. That's what I like. If you have an indoor job or you're going to an indoor place, I've never really understood what the big deal really is other than your cold for their very brief time. But. If you're going to gripe about the cold, this'll be the time to gripe about the call that we have common for for the next couple of days, but it did get me to think about something. And I don't have a good answer on this. I'm working at two in my own mind. So I'm going to think out loud. Tomorrow's high is minus twelve.

"Conservatives to pound on and bash. Other conservatives every time they make what appears to be an error. Awfully it turns out not to about an error at all. But they still feel that need. It's a need by the way that the left never has. There's never a need felt on the part of lefties what Maxine Waters makes an outrageous statement to slap her down and say what a terrible offensive awful person. She is. But somebody like Nick Sandman and the Covington kids comes forward. We'll get to that one in a moment. I this is a really interesting story. I think. It also follows through on. I'm of the opinion that. The internal combustion automobile is going to be a thing of the past as you know, and that the consumer is going to gravitate toward electric cars when they have full opportunity to buy a lot of them will see, but I just think based on how consumers are people are so used to just plugging in and charging things it's what they do with their life. Right. Plug it in and charging plug it in charge. You gotta tablet play a charge. You got a phone plug at a charge. It you have a laptop anybody still have a laptop. I do. You plug it in charge, it, that's what we do with everything you just plug it in a charge it plug in charging plug it in a charge it like these. Alexa, gadgets you plug into the charge. It right. Well, they're mostly plugged in all the time. Yeah. But if you took it somewhere with you, nobody does that. Yeah. She got a church. That's my point you plug it at a charge. And I think most people would much rather with their cars plug it in and charge it, especially if they feel as though they're gonna spending a lot less money to plug it in charge that we currently spend on gasoline. Now. Maybe I'm right. Maybe I'm wrong. The success of a company like tesla. It's selling a lot of cars. It can't make money indicates that there's a market desire for this. There's a story in the news today. It's mostly in the audible news it as you know, I roll around in the automotive news. I don't know why I do other than a dork. I admit my stupid interest at least like what are your stupid interest? But I don't a better. We might not want to know what you're actually you're actually interested. It's not the. Fess up to any kind of poured or anything like that. Paul's into like, the HGTV home in Preeti with Sierras. Porsche, which at one point was a niche automaker. They made the nine one one they made the two series. They ran the sports cars. Kind of a cool thing Porsche, which is part of that whole VW Audi grove has gradually tried to become something of a mainstream automobile company. When they made their SUV came out, maybe ten years ago. The Cayenne those things that are popping up all over the place and suddenly people he would never imagine driving little Porsche Porsche sports cars there in the SUV. Now, they've got the Micon. I see it all over the place. They have a sedan called the Panama, Porsche steel company. They're not up there a Chevy and Ford they sell a fraction of the cars that they sell. There's sort of a niche companies still, but the niche is bigger. They're working on their first all electric vehicle. It's going to come out this year nineteen. It's called the take hod T E T Y C A ad. It's a sedan. It's slightly built up over the ground. But it's like a four door sedan that looks like a two door roadster, and it's got a little bit more elevation. That's what it is. But it's all electric. Porsche announced yesterday. That even though the car hasn't been built yet. They are doubling their production. Of what they expected to build. They were expecting in the first year to build twenty thousand of the things they're doubling it to forty thousand. Now, that's still that up there with the Ford F one fifty but it's that a tiny fraction of vehicle the reason they are doing it is they say they are blown away by the people that are already putting in orders at reservations for the vehicle. Even though there isn't even one running around for people to test drive. Here's the number that jumped out at me. Porsche says it has three thousand deposit reservations taken for the take on in Norway. Do you know how many cars of all the models? They have poor sold in Norway last year six hundred every vehicle they have the SUV's all of the nine one one. They sold six hundred in the entire nation of Norway last year. But this one vehicle the isn't even yet done. They've got three thousand on deposit. I think that forty thousand number. They take sixty. Eighty. I think it's what the consumer wants. Now. John Wyatt keeps making a point at it's one that I haven't seen a lot of people address. What's going to happen to the power grid? When you have all these electric cars Seddon tapping into it. And it may be something policy makers are going to have to address. But in terms of the consumer preference. This is what consumers want. Porsches saying that they expect the cost of the car to be about eighty five thousand dollars, which is below their Panama, but above they're big SUV, the Kiad whether or not anybody could actually make one for thirty or thirty five thousand dollars and go out there and compete against Honda cords. And so on I don't know. You also wonder though this. What's going to happen? When somebody comes up with a fully electrified truck. I mean a truck truck or a full size SUV the challenges is because they're so big they require so much power. Nobody can come up with a battery that would have any kind of range that would work Porsche, however, hit the magic number on the take on. They say that the range will be over three hundred miles the higher the range, the less consumer resistance. There is going to be to it. I think this is the future. And I think again, we see a story that's out there on the fringes of the news that seems to hint at that for all of its problems. The fact that that tesla keep selling these guys you can't even by tesla and the state of Wisconsin gift to go to Chicago and pick it up. They're still selling them completely screwed up run company. Can't get anything off the production line. But there's still an enormous demand for them. This is what the public wants. And eventually, I think the big automobile companies the American companies GM Ford, Toyota, they're all going to realize that they need to put almost all of their product cladding into this area. Because it is what the consumer wides. I don't know anybody that likes to go to the gas station. Do you do you know, anybody that Light's going there? Do you know anybody that doesn't like to charge their stuff? It's like even if you're down if my phones at ninety two rather than one hundred I felt charge. We love charge except pause. Got he has in there charging right now, we all love to get one hundred thank about that. The power source you actually get excited when you're searching us. I'm not sitting there excited, whatever at the gas pump. And then the other thing you're at a gas station. There's the meter keeps going up the more you put in there when you plug your car into the thing. Maybe if we saw the dollars Rolette, Iran and how much power will use it. But that is an wall. Plug works. I've got an interesting segment for you that I think is going to be very thought provoking. It's on the subject that I mentioned a moment ago. We'll do it next five thirty nine news talk eleven thirty wwl..
