"That is not an abortion. Abortion is never necessary to save a woman's life. So let's stop talking about life in the mother. Then they talk about the health of the mother. This is an exception so big you could march the rose bowl parade through it. The health of the mother, what could not be said to affect someone's health. Your mental health. In the states that had the health of the mother exception before roe V wade, women were going and getting notes from their psychiatrist and getting abortions because it was going to make them depressed. So anybody who says health with the mother, he is pro choice. He is as bad as Planned Parenthood. And then rape and incest incest, I don't even know what that means. I don't know why incest would be an exception to abortion. Unless we're just eugenicists and we think, oh, we might have webbed fingers and extra toes and we don't want them running around America. I don't think I don't think that survives rational examination. No two headed babies. That brings us to the rape exception. People who say they want a rape exception, almost never really want that. If you really wanted that, you would say, okay, in the first within the first two weeks, after you've been raped, you have to go to the police, file a report, cooperate with the investigation. If you're lying, that's illegal, you can be prosecuted for making a false rate report. So you would, if you really believe that the rape exception is morally necessary, you would carve out a very small one that woman who goes to the police and files a rape charge within a very narrow window of time can have an abortion. It's tragic. It's not right, but we don't want to put that burden on rape victims. That would make some rational sense. That's not what people want. They want women to be able to go in and say, yeah, I was a rape. Oh, okay, stamp. The Christine blasey Fords of this world. We're willing to lie under oath about being raped to get what they want. So it would be an absolutely meaningless loss. Okay, we got plenty more talking to John smirk. Welcome back, folks. We're talking to John S mirak. Oh my goodness. John, this weekend. King Charles the third was officially crowned all very ritualistic. I spoke at length to Naomi wolf about it in our one. Do you have any observations on that event? Yeah, I'm really, really glad the British monarchy survives. Even though it doesn't wield any power, even though I'm a half Irish. And I'm almost genetic, you know, my genes scream at the British monarchy, the way yours do at the Ottoman Empire, Eric. Being Greek. But as an American, I need to recognize that our freedoms are ordered liberty, come from no place else, but England. That the peculiar history of the English monarchy, and its relationship to the English parliament and the English people. The back and forth battle for power between the king, the parliament and the people, has produced the freest society in the history of the world. And it's interesting that our independence was a rebellion against Great Britain. Great Britain was the freest society on earth at the time. We wanted more. But the point is we weren't rebelling against the Ottoman Empire or the Mongol conic cons. We were rebelling against a pretty darn good monarchy that for hundreds of years had been subjecting the king's powers to the power of parliament. Starting in the 1300s with the Magna Carta, the English monarchs had century John. I'm sorry. Thank you. 13th century. With the Magna Carta, the English monarchs had to ask the parliament for taxes. The power of the purse was in the hands of the nobility and then of the common people. And they were individual rights constitutional rights..

"You can find them at storm wall dot com. So you were just taking us through this is the history of American going from American isolationism into interventionism and then taking us up into the Iraq War. So keep going. So if you start with the fall of Berlin Wall, follow the Soviet Union. The U.S. now has a strange new role in the world. Here we are. We're the sole hegemon. We're the global power. How do we use that force? They went back and forth. So failed in Rwanda to intervene on time, then we're pressured to intervene places like the Balkans and Kosovo and elsewhere. This back and forth is tension. How should we what should we do? Where's our role? Well, with 9 11 came clarity in the minds of U.S. leadership. George W. Bush and the administration at the time decided, no, no, we have to respond with vigor with force. Launch the war on terror is launched with that came the 20 year old war in Afghanistan. And we have to be clear. I don't know if I've ever said it on the program. But I was always troubled by the concept of the war on terror. It just struck me as, I don't know, since I lack a better adjective, it struck me as utterly stupid, like a war on terror is like a war on poverty. What could be vaguer? And there's something offensive when you're putting American lives on the line. And you say a war on terror. What is terror? What defines when we win the war on? You know, it's one thing to fight against Hitler. But a war on terror, it was, I just feel cynically labeled so vaguely that it would be a never ending war on terror. Anyway, that's effectively what's happened, but keep going. Well, you're right to be cynical now in retrospect, and maybe we all should have been more cynical at the time. I wasn't cynical at the time. I mean, I had flags or I had questions, but I ought to have been more forceful in actually more openly cynical about it. But I was not. I was not. Those who were cynical were the Europeans, the French the Germans who had seen the same intelligence reports who had seen the same information and came to a radically different conclusion that Saddam Hussein did not have weapons of mass destruction was not planning to eminently annihilate the world like a global villain. But instead, the U.S. pressed to head by themselves. We were there for it for a decade. I was one of the people who was behind that. As I've said this many times, John S mirak, I remember at the time being the only conservative I knew clearly saying why this was wrong and I thought what? I mean, he understood this at the time. But most people like myself went along the band with the bandwagon. So the bandwagon continued. And in 2012, we set in motion steps to take out Gaddafi from Libya under similar pretenses of he's about to launch a genocide. There was a revolt going on in this country. In any event, he was ultimately captured and killed by another group in a brutal fashion. And Libya descended into chaos from which it is not emerged in a decade and a half now over a decade. When you start to look at the line at the same time, there was something else happening in the background of the former Soviet Union, which is that the U.S. began to strongly press forward on bringing the Eastern European countries into NATO. The Russian government was under an oppression that the west had agreed to not expand NATO. I've talked about some of the program with John Z rack. Maybe you can help me understand this better. But when I'm old enough to remember the Soviet Union was a superpower that was formidable, it had tremendous ambition to take over the world. When that ended in 1991, it was a watershed moment in world history, the Soviet Union breaks up, goes away effectively, and you're left with this little stump called Russia. Yes. Which is nothing like the former Soviet Union. But people in the State Department seemed to persist in acting. Now this is, again, help me understand this. But I just thought they seemed to pretend as though what we used to. We used to call the Soviet Union Russia because the head of it was in Moscow was in Russia, but it was the Soviet Union. Now, you just have Russia, which has a small economy, but we kept pretending as though we need all of NATO arrayed against Russia, which is economically crippled, and you know, and it also struck me that we have tremendous opportunities to spread freedom to spread the not just the free market, but it seemed like a huge opportunity. And instead and again, correct me if I'm wrong, we persisted almost in saying, well, whatever they say or do, there's still our old enemy and we're going to treat them as though there are old enemy..

"We've talked about it briefly the other day, but keep going. We didn't get to the meat of it. So to celebrate Easter morning, David French greets his fellow Christians by telling them that if they voted for Donald Trump, if they're active in the pro life movement, if they're trying to be control immigration, if they're for gun rights, they are like the mob that cried crucified Jesus, give us barabbas. He literally said that. He said, Christians who are active on any of these political areas that most conservative Christians agree on, you are acting like a rabbit, you have the will to power. You are not like Jesus, Jesus didn't seek power. Jesus embraced powerless mess. He became a victim and we need to be victims too. And we need to make sure our neighbors and our friends and our unborn children are all victims because that's what Jesus wanted, right? What blithering absolute contemptible nonsense. And I tear it limb from limb in my piece of the story. It's the worst theology. I mean, it's basically it's incoherent nonsense. It is bad theology. Got to cut to the tell yourself and your neighbors to the cross so they can be like Jesus too. It is, it is unbelievable. And it is, listen, it is contemptible. It is everything Nietzsche said, Christianity was. That's right. It is the disgusting contemptible parody of Christianity. The Nietzsche was right to hate. Unfortunately, Nietzsche, assimilated all Christianity into this squalid little Ned flangers category that David French puts it in. But in his piece at The New York Times, David French talks about we can't be like barabbas. We need to be like the civil rights movement. The civil rights movement was an imitation of Christ. Did you know that? It was a purely spiritual movement of people exposing themselves to violence in order to change hearts and minds. Garbage lies, the civil rights movement was a political movement. Period. It wanted to change the law. It wanted to make discrimination in legal. So that if you do it, the police come. And arrest you and find you and close down your business. We now have an enormous bureaucracy. One of the biggest in the world devoted to stomping out racial and sexual discrimination in every area of life. A huge nexus of power by the government that uses guns and prisons. And David Francis flying with all that. And I'm fine with anti discrimination laws too. But don't pretend that if you're trying to pass anti discrimination laws as Martin Luther King was trying to do, that you're not engaged in politics. The civil rights movement was not a religious movement to change hearts and minds exclusively. Otherwise, you might as well say Billy Graham's crusades wanted to conquer the Holy Land. Newsflash they didn't. Maybe they should have, but they didn't. Our Catholic crusades, we were real. We conquered the Holy Land, okay? But you protestants don't do that. And okay, we can agree to disagree. But the civil rights movement wanted to change the law. He holds up John L Lewis, who was a civil rights pioneer and got beaten up by clans and that took courage, but then he went on to be a pro abortion pro welfare state radical leftist for 40 years. David French hold him up as a hero. This man who was in favor of the mass killing of black babies in the womb because 50 or 60 years ago he was right about civil rights. The civil rights movement has been made into a kind of religious fetish by the left. It is presented as some purely spiritual, beautiful, perfect moment. And it's the only legitimate political movement that every sister. I've got an issue. The pro life movement is a political movement. And I was involved in operation rescue. I saw their little old ladies get in their arms to dislocated by cops. Teenagers getting beaten with batons and sprayed with pepper gas by the police in places like Hartford Connecticut. It never got on the news. The nonviolence of the civil rights movement was a political tactic. We're going to make the rednecks beat us up on television and the reporters from New York and Los Angeles are going to show it on national TV, the south will be humiliated and they will change the law. It was a tactic. It was not an imitation of Christ, it was a tactic. And I very clever one. It only works when the media is open to presenting your side. So when that operation rescue was nonviolent and was beaten by the police, it was totally useless because it never went on TV. When the January 6 protesters were beaten with batons and sprayed with pepper gas and I don't know, shot in the head and killed, it never made me TV, except Tucker Carlson occasionally would show some segments of it. And gee, is it in a surprise checker Carlson will now be off mainstream television? Because he violated the narrative. So David French, he called the January 6th defendants, insurrectionists, all of them, even though 99% of them were nonviolent. And the other 1% were probably FBI agents. So David French is more like the mob screaming at Christ than he is like. We'll keep the right there. We'll be right back more with John S mirak..

"Okay, talking to John S mirak, John, what else? This is tough stuff. Yeah. What we were talking about on narco tyranny, anarcho tyranny is important. It's anarchy for me and tyranny for thee. When the Democrats said that riots burning densities were mostly peaceful and shouldn't be prosecuted. But that little old ladies taking selfies at the capitol on January 6th were insurrectionists who need to be in solitary confinement and rot in prison. That's anarcho tyranny. And it is literally how the Nazis took over Germany. And I want to give people the details in case they forgot, or in case they never heard this. Hitler came to power because the German establishment realized they couldn't control his followers. And then about a third of the country backed Hitler and about a fourth of it was communist and the Nazis had street thugs in control of most of the major cities. Now, how did that happen? Well, they formed the brown shirt, so paramilitary group. That was bigger than the German Army. The German Army under the Treaty of Versailles was restricted to be tiny, tiny, tiny. And it was actually too small to fight the Nazis. There had been a Civil War the Nazis might have won. That's one problem. But here's how the Nazis got so big. They would dress up in their brown shirt uniforms, and they would go down. They would be like Black Lives Matter, antifa. And they would go beat up their political opponents, stop them from speaking on campus, stop them from making speeches, get in fist fights, crack people's heads. The police would dutifully come and break it up and arrest everyone. And the judges who sympathize with the Nazis would simply throw out the charges against the Nazis, but prosecute the Jews or socialists or Catholics who have been defending themselves. Exactly what the Democrats are doing now. You do that enough. We did not have Soros and appointed judges in Nazi Germany. How was it that the judges were all on board? Was it simply fear of the Nazis? No, no, no, no. It was hatred of communists. Hatred of communism and a feeling that these Nazis, their heart was in the right place. They were trying, and they're really overzealous. But their heart was in the right place. It was exactly like the indulgence, the Democrats have for antifa and Black Lives Matter. They may be too zealous, but there are hearts in the right place. So we're not going to punish them. This was a mostly peaceful demonstration. It was an exact parallel. These judges let the Nazis walk the same way, Democrat politicians like BLM and antifa take over campuses. It was the exact same thing. What happened to Riley gaines, a real woman athlete who spoke out against transgender men taking over sports, and she was besieged and mobbed and trapped in hell hostage for hours at a campus when Charlie Kirk tried to ever speak there. The university has thanked the protesters. They have thanked the rioters and they have said we need to heal from the trauma of this woman even trying to speak at our university. Exactly like the Nazis. Affirming the thugs, fighting against free speech, don't call the Democrats communists. They don't care. Call them Nazis because that's the playbook they're following. I want to end on a positive note and I want to simply say this, ladies and gentlemen, John and I advocate fighting back. I'm not talking about with fists, but the point is, if you don't do what you can do, when you hear this litany of horrors, down the line. And you do nothing, or you say, it's not worth doing anything. We've already lost. You are part of the problem. You are serving the devil. I want to exhort everyone. You need to take these things seriously, whatever it is that you're called to do. There are million things you can do. You need to do those things, do them with joy and with hope and let God do the rest. But do not allow these things to happen without fighting back without speaking the truth when you get the opportunity we're out of time, John smirke, thanks for being my guest, God bless you..

"That was funny, John. We're going to end right there. We'll be back more of John S mirak, don't go away. On a morning from a boat guy. Folks talking to John S mirak, John, let's switch to something more cheerful. You know, for the audience, maybe we could talk about ethnic cleansing? Yeah, this is another of these iranic uplifting guideposts kind of articles that I write at stream dot org. This one's called is your progressive neighbor waiting to ethnically cleanse you and your family. So roll it around in your head. If I have an idea for an icebreaker, if you need to get to know your neighbor, especially if you know they're kind of left wing, you know, they've got a rainbow flag or they have that sign in the front yard. And this house we believe we are superior to you and that you read next should stay off our lawn. You know, those horrible signs that people have. Don't break their window, tempting though that is. Go there, ring the doorbell and talk to them. Or if you're on a company and someone's applying for a job, you should ask them questions like this. I'm just kind of wondering, 5 years down the road, do you see your family in mind living side by side in the same nation state under the same kind of laws and with the same equal rights and liberties? Or this could be true. Are you planning on people like me and my family being driven out by angry mobs or imprisoned for thought crimes or impoverished intimidated into fleeing to some of the region or a foreign country? I'm just kind of curious what your long-term intentions are. Towards me, do you want to see us wiped out? And the reason I think it's important to think about this is if you go back, there's a recent case of a Texas an army ranger in Texas named sergeant Daniel Perry. During the Black Lives Matter riots that were enabled and encouraged by Liberal Democrat governments all across the country. A mob of Black Lives Matter rioters were taking over the streets of Austin, Texas, Daniel Perry was driving an Uber and he was trying to get people safely home from the riot. The rioters surrounded his car, were pounding on it and rocking it back and forth. Someone takes an AK-47. A military rifle. And points it at sergeant Perry's head. At that point, and only at that point sergeant Perry shoots the guy pointing a gun at his face. Sergeant Perry was arrested and prosecuted for first degree murder by the Soros linked prosecutor in Austin, Texas. And was convicted by a jury full of Austin liberals who listened and PTR and donate money to classical symphonies. This is Texas. This is the most clear cut case of self defense imaginable. We are having to rely on governor Greg Abbott to finally pardon this guy. He will go to prison for shooting someone who pointed a gun in his face and had an angry mob behind him. Jake Gardner, case after case where obvious clear cut self defense, if you we can't repeal the Second Amendment, but if you use a gun to defend yourself in any circumstance, if the criminals are leftist rioters or if their members of a sacred minority group, you will go to prison no matter how justified your actions. But if you are a member that's sacred minority minority group or the approved angry mob of leftists, then you can do whatever you want and you will not be prosecuted..

"All your shopping done now while quantities last again use code Eric and save my pillow dot com. Welcome back. We're talking to John S mirak. John, you're making a point that in some ways is very simple and yet every generation has to face this afresh. Every culture. It's so easy for us. And again, I try to make this clear in my book letter to the American church. Every culture seems to think we're new and we're different and we don't make the stupid mistakes that those fools in the past made. You know, acting as though slavery or the slave trade, that's not a gospel related issue. We're just going to stick to our gospel. Well, we look back at them and we properly are horrified that they missed it. They got it wrong and millions of people suffered horrors. Suffered horrors because of Christians getting it wrong. Today, again, many good Christians are getting this wrong. And we want to help them to understand this is not just our opinion. We're not trying to be mean. We're trying to help you understand the biblical view of evil, the biblical view of sin, that's what John has done in this article at stream dot org. It is very important. In the past, abolitionist Christians would show photographs of the backs of slaves from the scars from the whip marks. What we have today are the pictures of young girls, their scars from being mutilated from every breast cut off before the age of 15 by doctors who are making a profit and whose bodies have been poisoned by big pharma companies that are making billions of this transgender demonic hysterical insane lie. So Satan loves the sin and hates the sinner. If when he gets us to affirm the sin to equate the sinner with his sin and God, if I don't love his fentanyl habit, I don't love my nephew. If I don't love his plan hood, I don't love my brother. My brother is in the clan. If I don't let him wear his clan hood at my child's first home communion, I'm not affirming him. I'm not being a real Christian. That's what it is. And just because you're affirming a sin that happens to be popular with Harvard and NPR and the national endowment for the humanities. I mean, how likely is it do you think that mammon that the secular world just happens to be right about everything now? It was wrong about everything in 1930. It was wrong about everything in 1850, but it's correct right now. It's so comfortably convenient that the comfortable thing happens to be the Christian thing to do just in my lifetime..

"We are talking to John S mirak about the film opening in theaters this weekend got to see it nefarious. Okay, continue please. Sure. So I was saying that the question of the death penalty is a really important one. And I was critical of Pope John Paul the second when he said the state should not execute anyone if it's possible to keep them locked up for life. Because the only justification for the death penalty is protecting society. That's wrong. That's one of the justifications. The other one is enacting divine justice. Pope Pius the 12th, who was the most lucid Pope of the 20th century. He said, the state is the legitimate avenger of crime. The legitimate avenger of prime. And when it says in the Bible, vengeance is mine, says the lord? That's true. But that happens through the state. The sword, which God did not give Caesar in vain, according to St. Paul. So when the state imprisons a criminal or executes a criminal, that is the lord's vengeance, being enacted on this earth. That is a good thing. That's something we as Christians should affirm. That is something we must cling to because the society without justice is a society like New York. Where the district attorney can turn loose violent criminals, but can prosecute a former president because he doesn't like his views. Where criminals walk the streets, the only way to go to prison is to be a law by citizen who has a gun. You actually had your district attorney in New York, prosecuted someone for defending himself. He was attacked by somebody with a gun, took the gun away and shot the person attacking him. Your DA, Alvin Bragg, tried to send the victim to prison for attempted murder with an unregistered firearm. The gun he took from the guy who was attacking him. This is the same guy trying to send Donald Trump to prison for being a victim of blackmail.

"Oh, that's right. We want people, we don't want to execute people who can't understand why they're being executed and can't see the justice of it. We're not just putting down a mad dog or euthanizing a defective unit of the population, the way the Nazis would have. We are enacting we're using the sword that God gave Caesar to enact divine justice on earth. And that's why I think capital punishment is so important and why Christians need to stand by it, and why it's almost guaranteed a country that abolishes the death penalty will legalize abortion. It's almost guaranteed because if you won't kill the guilty, you will kill the innocence because fallen man is a killer, and he's going to kill somebody. And if you're not going to kill the guilty, it will be the innocent. And that seems to happen. Country after country after country to explain it more rationally, if you decouple justice from consequences, you decouple life. The question of life and the question of justice. The innocence of an unborn child and the guilt of a convicted murderer are both major facts. They're really important moral facts. And if you're going to ignore the moral fact of a convicted killer that he has earned the death penalty, according to God himself, according to the covenant of Noah, the first universal moral law laid down for the human race, never repealed by Jesus. If you're going to ignore that, you're going to ignore the innocence of the child in the womb too. So that's why I think this raises the nefarious raises some very interesting moral questions fruitful for good discussion. We're going to hit pause plenty more with John's mirror, don't go away. We can make this hold up to a little so we can lay it down to look at the time loading a little push so we could set it up. Hey there folks, we are talking to John S mirak about the film opening in theaters this weekend got to see it nefarious. Okay, continue please. Sure. "Welcome to the Eric metaxas show. It's a nutritious smoothie of creamy, fresh yogurt, vanilla, protein powder, and a mushy banana for your mind. Drinking all time, it's nummy. I won't vanilla. Here comes Eric metaxas. Hey there, folks. Today, I believe it's Wednesday. We have, oh boy, there's no way to describe this one. Coming up in both hours today, I'm speaking to yomi park. She has a story, more harrowing, I think, than any we've ever had on this program. Very, very, very important that every American know her story. I don't want to telegraph the punches. I will just let you listen to the conversation. I had her at Socrates in the city a couple of weeks ago, that similar, but different. We get to go into things today that we didn't get into in the Socrates conversation. So we will air the Socrates conversation at some point on this program. I don't know when, but in a way we got more time with her today and then tomorrow an hour one tomorrow will play the last part of it. It's just vital that people hear this story, especially young people. To hear what you went through, I can't stress it enough. We're dealing with evil. And I think this is the new theme. We're dealing with evil. Now we've always been dealing with evil, but I think what we're going through in America right now, more people are becoming aware of the fact that we're dealing with genuine evil. We've not really seen it before. It's been hidden, but we're seeing it now. I spoke about this a little bit to general Flynn yesterday. I speak about this all the time, that we are, we're seeing it more openly, the demonic, the darkness of the powers arrayed against God and God's purposes and God's people and God's truth. And the only solution is God. And I think a lot of people are waking up to that like, okay, here's the good news, folks. God is real. Here's the good news. He wants to help us. But we have to acknowledge our need for him. So the conversation today is really, really, it's beautiful. It's moving. It's powerful. It's very, very important. So I can't stress it enough. So that's today. Both hours, I'm talking to yumi park. You just don't want to miss it. I mean, what can I tell you? Tomorrow, we'll be talking to John S mirak also. And now we've been talking about the film nefarious, which opens in theaters, April 14th. What is that? This Friday. Okay. Now listen to this. The film, nefarious, we've been talking about it both album and I have seen it. It is terrific. I mean, it's the kind of thing you hope that someday somebody will make films like this. Here's the good news. They did, and it's coming out Friday. It's educational in the sense that it helps you actually understand the spiritual reality behind reality. And it's just done so well. Now, Steve days who wrote the book and who was behind this film was mysteriously stricken ill, two nights ago, went to the emergency room, totally mysterious, totally bizarre. I got a call from John Muir yesterday saying, have you heard of what happened to Steve? And I had heard. And John was saying, it's kind of interesting. Here he's promoting his film, which deals with the reality of the demonic and suddenly utterly mysteriously he is stricken. They don't know what it was. He goes to the emergency room. It was not looking good. I'll be honest. Spiritual warfare is real. And I remember when I first became a Christian and people would refer to this, I'd kind of like roll my eyes a little bit. Like, okay, look, it is real. And if you don't understand that, you're a sucker because it is real. Now, the thing is, the devil wants us to say, oh, I don't want any trouble. I'll just back off. Which is exactly what happens in the cancel culture. When you're bullied in the cancel culture, they say, just keep your mouth shut and it'll go well for you. You are obliged to do exactly the opposite. You're going to pray more, you're going to fast more, you're going to do more of God, what God wants you to do, because that's exactly the thing that the dark forces don't want you to do. They just want to shut you up and keep you quiet. And that's what I'm talking about in the national political situation. Don't say this. Don't say that. Just go along, you know, do what they tell you. Hell no. Yeah. And the real word the air make is gehenna. No. Because that's the point. That's the point. If you just want to keep your nose clean and stay at a trouble, not only are you being cowardly, which is antithetical to faith in God, but you're doing exactly the opposite of what God made you to do. It's kind of like somebody saying like, don't exercise, you'll get sore, you'll get so I'm telling you the next day you'll be sore and you you're like, well, here's the deal. That's the point that's going to make me stronger and you're scared of that..

"We're going to bring John on in our two. So stay tuned for more. But action point, Google, my pronoun is legion. My pronoun is legion by John S mirak, share that article on your social media. I dare you to do it. If you don't do it, I will wonder why because it is that important. My pronoun is legion. It's that stream dot org. We'll be back. Hey folks, it's that time of the month we talk about the economy. The one subject I need the most help on, which is why we go to the Charles thorn CEO of legacy precious metals. Welcome back. Thank you, sir. Thank you, sir. And you know the only one I think even our government is up with the economy. Well, what in the world are we to make of where we are right now? I mean, I had a friend the other day who does not know that legacy precious metals is a sponsor on this show, doesn't know that I have you on the program. And he said, based on what he knows and he's kind of into this stuff, he's like Eric by silver now. He sent me specifics. He doesn't know that I already am involved in this. But he was like, it was always a good thing to do, but he was urging me as a friend. Because he knows what's happening with our economy. But tell my audience as you're able, where we are with things right now. I mean, this banking crisis, it's incomprehensible to me. It's just part of the entire scenario that we've been talking about. We have an economy that's not being run correctly. There are many different facets through inflation. We have being hammered. The lack of interest rate control, the risk that's out there, a decade and a half of easy money. These are all things that lead to an instability that when it catches you, it just overwhelms you. I often like to look at it as the tidal wave. For years, we've watched the water going out and everything's been easy. But now when that water comes back from that tidal wave, it covers everything. And that's what we're talking about. And you know, I don't like to scare people, but I will say this. Your finances are more at risk now than they have ever been in your life. This is worse than what we saw in 2007 and 2008. This is worse than a dot com of 2000 because it's a much bigger scenario. We have a situation where the amount of easy money has been so much for so long that even banks didn't handle money correctly. And this is where you see this issue. You know, and now we're talking about the next bank Pacific west, it's in trouble. It's share prices are down 20%. They had to go and borrow about $15 billion from the fed. And then still needed more money. So it's the beginning. It's not the end of this cycle with banks. And that's the unfortunate thing. And I want to apologize for everybody for being right about this. But this is an area that we're in..

"We're a fallen race. We're going to go to a break. We've got another segment with John's merit. When we go to the break, hey, here's another thing you crazy Christians can do because Jesus rose from the dead. You can feed the poor. I'm exhorting you. To do that, give what you can, 8, four, four, 8, 6, three, hope, 8, four, four, 8, 6, three hope, or metaxas talk dot com, metaxas talk dot com. You'll see the banner. Please do that, please. Thank you. To be happy the woman knows good know how I'm feeling maybe blood is back. Ladies and gentlemen, John S mirak, John, please continue. Well, so what we're facing in our culture is a new religion to replace Christianity because man needs a religion. Hitler tried to create a new religion for the Third Reich, a kind of racial pantheism. And if you're interested in that Richard white card has an amazing book called the religion of Adolf Hitler, where you goes through diary entries and all the documentation to find out what Hitler really believe, what Hitler believed was in a Darwinian replacement for Christianity. He was willing to leave the churches in place as long as he could hollow them out from the inside and make them Darwinian instead of Christian. It wasn't a melding of the two, darwinism was to replace Christianity. And he was going to use anti communism and use the threat of Stalin. And by the way, that's what the woke cult is trying to do to churches in America today, which is why I wrote my book letter to the American church. You need to be aware of this, folks. You need to stand up against what Hitler tried to do, which is import Darwinian values into the church to hollow it out to make it a non church church and Antichrist church. That's John what you're talking about. That's right. And so what they're doing now is they're taking equality and equity and diversity in all these things that are second and third order implications of Christian morality. And worshiping them as a God. It's kind of like the golden calf. There's nothing evil about calves, God made calves, bulls were symbols of fertility in the ancient near east. You should be nice to cows. You should not make a gold idol and worship them instead of God. Equality is like a cow. It's a good thing God made God wants it to be there. Don't worship it. Don't make a gold idol out of it and prostrate yourself in front of it. That's what's happening. Here's a very good reason why these people can't tell you why is racism wrong. And I want to encourage everyone. Ask your secular Friends, why is racism wrong? And really press them and try to get them to justify it based on the survival of the fittest. Based on secular entirely secular materialistic scientific values. They will, some of them may have strokes and you may have to be ready to call the EMTs because these people racism is the ultimate evil, okay? They have, they have no ultimate good. They have no God, so the creator and ultimate evil. And racism leads to the Holocaust, the Holocaust is the ultimate evil, anything that's even quasi racist is like going to lead to the Holocaust. So the confederate flag equals the Nazi flag and America before 1965 was as bad as Nazi Germany. You see Holocaust museums trying to mush together the American civil rights struggle with the struggle against the Nazis, as if segregated lunch counters were death camps. It's all mushed together, but to them, it's like see people's arguing, you know, we go after Planned Parenthood. Which kills babies, but we try to convince people it's bad because it's also racist. That's an example of us trying to play their game. Killing babies might be bad if you can also show that it's racist. Because racism is the ultimate evil. So when you ask people why, why is racism evil? They don't have an answer because that is the new God. The anti racism is the new God, the golden calf that there worshiping. They can't justify worshiping the golden calf. So they go crazy. They get angry. They hate you. They try to destroy you personally and professionally, which is what they're doing to Scott Adams. And in my usual role as a kamikaze columnist, I decided to stick up for him even while being critical of what he said. I want to show, I disagree with what Scott Adams said because it's not Christian. And where's your article streamed at org? Yes, your honor. I have two articles on this. One is called, is it okay to be Scott Adams, and the second part is, Scott Adams is a racist because he is made of wood. Okay, okay, we're out of time, John, we love you. Thank you, my friend. We will be back with our two miracle Monday. Don't go away. "Skin. Bingo. That's brilliant. The back of the comic book that dates both of us. Okay, folks. We've got other stuff to talk to you in the next segment, but we'll be back with John. Right after the top of the hour, don't go away. Please tell me who you are. What would you say tell me calling you a writer. You come up slowly? I don't know how many people who listen to this program are aware of Socrates in the city, but I will tell you we have never ever in all the years we've done Socrates in the city. We filmed the events, cost us a lot of money to film them and to put them up. But people have said, do you live stream it? Do you want to see it when it happens? I don't want to see the edited version. I want to see it live. I want to, you know, I can't be there that night. Now, if you want to be there, you can still register today's the last day. You go to stock deals in the city dot com and you show up at the union league club and it's believe me, it's delightful in person. But for the first time ever, in 22 years, tomorrow night, whenever it starts, I don't know, 6 45, I can't remember the exact time eastern. But you can live stream it. You can watch it, live. I'm a little nervous about this. It's one thing to be talking in front of an audience of 200 people. It's another thing suddenly anybody can watch it. Now, you do have to register. You have to pay a nominal fee, but I want to encourage everybody who's listening to the program right now. Folks, go to Socrates in the city, dot com. And where it says events register for the live stream. This is we've never done it before. This is a really special event. I'm holding in my hand. The book, which is by eugenia scarves constantini who I've raved about this book a lot. She and I are going to be discussing this book in our two, we're talking to Bill donohue, who put together the film waltz disenchanted kingdom, which you can see at Salem now dot com. It's kind of funny because Bill Donahue in some ways reminds me of John S mirak, you know, like 20 years later or however much older he is, but real queens accent, Long Island accent..

Hey folks, welcome to what I like to call Monday. Monday. We have today Alvin, you know who's coming up? No, why don't you tell us? Okay, I'll tell you, I'll tell you. You tell us. You really want to know. You want to know the truth? I can handle it. This is going to be tough for some people. It's unless it's John S mirak. I can handle anybody but John's mere act today. I'm sorry to say it's John's mirac. Minutes from now, the wrath of Khan, the. Johns mirac is my guest for all of our one. We are planning something crazy. We're going to take a quiz. You should print it out, tack it up on any bulletin board you can share it, take the quiz with your friends and family. I'm going to take the whole quiz with him on this program in the next segment and the rest of this hour. It's amazing. In our two, we're talking to Bill Donahue, who put together the film waltz disenchanted kingdom, which you can see at Salem now dot com. It's kind of funny because Bill Donahue in some ways reminds me of John S mirak, you know, like 20 years later or however much older he is, but real, you know, queens accent, Long Island accent. Catholic heroic figure. Anyway, so we've got a we got a crazy couple hours coming up. I want to mention a couple of things. First of all, food for the poor. We are doing a another one of our campaigns with food for the poor. You know we did a few days with them recently that was kind of an emergency appeal for the for the earthquake victims. Of course, that was an emergency appeal. We now go back to our regular appeal with food for the poor to feed the hungry around the world to get details. You go to metaxas talk dot com and click on the banner. You'll see it right at the top, metaxas talk dot com. Click on that banner. And we'll give you more details on the air in the days and weeks ahead. But they are as reputable as it gets. That's why we ally with food for the poor. All of the sponsors on this program and all the folks we raise campaign, we do a campaign for to raise money. They're not just reputable. They're wonderful and they're doing God's work. And so I want to be really clear that you go to metaxas talk dot com. You'll see the banner. Now, I also want to mention quickly, actually, no, not quickly. This is, this is historic. And I don't know how many people listen to this program. Albin, we don't know how many people listen to this program. We really know a little bit of country, people around the world listen. But the Internet can listen from anywhere at any time. Go ahead. So I was just going to say you, me and our wives. We know that. That's like four or 5. How many wives do you have? I got to tell you. None of my wives listen to this program. That includes man, my first wife. No, it's interesting, but the reason I say that is because, you know, I know everybody's in a different place in life. Some people listen to this, driving a truck down the highway. Some people listen to this while they're taking a walk with the dog. Some people listen to this while they're falling asleep at night on podcast. Skinny dipping. Skinny dipping. Yes, perhaps even skinny dipping. We're streaking. But the point is that I don't know how many people who listen to this program are aware of Socrates in the city. But I will tell you, we have never ever in all the years we've done Socrates in the city. We filmed the events, cost us a lot of money to film them and to put them up. But people have said, do you live stream it? Do you want to see it when it happens? I don't want to see the edited version. I want to see it live. I want to, you know, I can't be there that night. "And on Thursday, we'll be breaking stuff down with John S mirak. But let me focus on two other things before we go to our interview with Naomi. First of all, we have a Socrates event coming up February 28th. I know this is going to be one of the most special evenings we've ever had in New York City, February 28th Genie Constantino, ladies and gentlemen, this woman is a big deal, a big, big deal in the book she wrote. If you are thinking about kicking off the period of lent in a way that will draw you closer to God, I can not think of another way. This is why a year ago I said, at the beginning of lent next year, which is now I'm going to have her be our guest that's Socrates in the city. So that's February 28th. If you can't be there in person, you can live stream it, obviously it's not the same as being there in person. So I want to encourage people to do that. As soon as possible, I also want to say we're doing a fundraiser with food for the poor just a couple more days Albin, right? I think, yes. Today and tomorrow. All right, tomorrow. When things go to hell in a handbasket, just doing one good thing is really, it's a clarifying thing that you can do one good unmitigated good thing. The nightmare of what happened to people in turkey and Syria through no fault of their own. These are poor people that are suffering 37,000 people, the latest count. It's way more than that, but that's our latest count. We have partnered with food for the poor just for a couple of days, folks. We're in the final two days of the campaign to rush emergency supplies. Some of you folks listening can afford to give a lot. This is tax deductible to food for the poor. Some of you can give a little asking you whoever you are to be generous, please, because this is as urgent as it gets, okay? These people are really suffering. We want to rush urgently needed food, clean water, and medical supplies to survivors in turkey and Syria. There are thousands of rescue operations still underway. Americans step up, okay? We hear, you know, average citizens collected ten tons of supplies, and this was just in Dallas, Texas. We have a clip. Let's play that clip. And just a couple of days north Texans have donated thousands of items just palettes at DFW airport, canned goods, personal hygiene items, and winter clothes, working nonstop to pack everything up and get it here to the airport. Their first shipment to turkey, Turkish airlines offered to fly all of this overseas for free, all of this desperately needed..

"Do you like your gravy sick and rich and loaded with creamy mushrooms? If no one was looking, would you chug the whole gravy boat? Stay tuned. Here comes mister jugga lug himself. Eric my taxes. Hey Alvin. Hey, yeah. It's old Yale week. On the Eric my taxes show. Of course I say that tongue in cheek or half tongue in cheek like everything I say. Yesterday, we aired my conversation with my new friend James Carney. If you missed that, folks get it on rumble if you get my newsletter, the Eric meta taxis dot com. If you don't get the newsletter not right now, I know I say this a lot, but you're really missing some stuff because we're sending it right to your inbox and there are tons of people that they have no idea. We're interviewing some really extraordinary people. But yesterday was a big deal. He was the class of 79 at Yale, a wolf and poof. It was like revival among the Yale whiff improves in the class of 79. It was insane. And you need to hear it. On Thursday, we're talking to John S mirak, who's Yale class of 86. But today and tomorrow, we have, in my estimation, one of the most important. Programs I've ever done on this in all the time we've done this before. We've interviewed Naomi wolf, she was in my class at Yale. We've interviewed her on the program, but never in the studio. And today we're going to air both hours, conversation I had with her yesterday, there's no way to do it justice, folks, what she's saying, it's hard to take in, but I believe it's God's will that we take it in and process it and pray. And what she talks about tomorrow, she's never shared publicly before. And we'll talk a bit more about that later. But just to focus on what's right in front of us, to give you my takeaway. What Naomi is saying is not debatable. That the Chinese were involved in creating vaccines to deliberately harm mostly Americans. Now, if that is 10% true, that's an act of war, and it is a game changer in our lives. And the Pfizer documents reveal this dramatically and clearly. And she will talk about that they have released these documents. They've done reports on these documents, journalists refused to cover it. We talk about why that is because that's where you think you're going crazy. So the conversation that I'm about to have with her that we're about to air with her. Is one of the most important conversations I've ever had really in my life. The clarity of it, but the question is, what are you going to do about it? Because we're all involved in this together. You know, Alvin, we're going through crazy times that we could talk about this later, but when you have several train derailments happening at once, any fool would say that's an either an act of terror or the Chinese trying to destabilize America. Something is going on. And you have the additional difficulty of we don't trust our own government that our own government, that it's an administration that stole its way into The White House. They lie, brazenly, and routinely, and you can't take them seriously because they're not responding to, you know, they call them UFOs, right? That just means unidentified flying objects. It could be a jet. It could be a balloon. It certainly not aliens because we wouldn't be able to shoot them down out of the sky if it was like advanced aliens, right? So that's a joke. And but something is going on, everybody's wondering what's going on, why aren't we getting clarity from the 21 year old Pete booted judge it's all so stupid. But we're going through something as a nation that is very new and very difficult. My belief is that God is the only way through this. I want to be very clear about that. When things get this tough, God is the only answer. And anyway, I don't want to go into details on that right now, but it's madness. Absolute. To me, real quick to me, when you're still an election, at least put competent people in. You don't steal on election and put like dodo heads. Yeah. No, that's kind of right. I mean, you know, you could, it seems like Kennedy stole the election, not nearly as brazenly in 1960, but they were at least very competent. Mostly on the right side of a lot of stuff. But look, I want to say this again. The conversation that I'm having with Naomi today is very important, very, very important. The conversation I have with her tomorrow is equally important, and so the videos will be made available all over my social media. And I hope you will share them widely. And again, if you get our newsletter at Eric metaxas dot com, sign up for the newsletter. Folks, I will just keep saying it till I'm blue in the face. Please sign up for the newsletter because there's all kinds of stuff that I can't share on this program..
