"By the way. Lots and lots of news with producer Joey Murata, Josh sailor on the wheel Michael should pay with the news. And we will update if we get updates. For the end of the show will give them to you. But the body of a law enforcement officer was found at valley view elementary here in coin capacity, and the they're not as we don't know. What agency what we do know that it there? They're not saying, well, they're saying whatever it is. It's not a homicide or are they right now. They're investigating a possible. Suicide say that this is a sergeant from a school district. Police force like LA unified schools, but they won't say that. But it is value is within the LA unified school district. Okay. You look my daughter went to first grade there, and and it's really it's really a policy area Hollywood hill wouldn't say that vivid video's right down though. I mean, literally you drive by vivid video porn center, the porn universe. Southbound one on one the views just up the hill from there. But it was in a really weird deal were. It was partially administered by Glendale. It was a really weird weird deal. It was a great school a great great school. And that happened. I don't know. I know I may be absolutely making that up, but as I recall registered her we had to find our residents and other time we were south of the great Burbank wall, and we registered her for that school to very competitive get in because the other school up Calandra is a crap academy doesn't crap hole. So we had to get we were trying to get that please don't sentence our kids to LA unified prison. So that we could get her into Burbank, which are great schools, and we're gonna move in with Conway that's at one point. But so anyway, she went to that school for years. I know that campus so it is kind of curious, but I guess I guess we can say that the thirties are without officially confirming. It it it's not a homicide the neighborhood isn't lockdown and it happened at about four fifteen. Yeah. At least that's when the body was found you can draw your own conclusions. There. And so there you go well in a in another curious. Pardon me, another curious corpse find I'm not even gonna play the homicide intro for this more. Human remains have been found close to where a similar discovery was discovery was made Wednesday the areas on the Santa Clara river bed. Near south fork creek and magic mountain Parkway LA county sheriff's homicide detective fraternity areas Saturday with a cadaver dog this is they found a skull on Wednesday. Investigators said the remains of aby related, but will not know till the county's coroner's office completes its investigation earlier in the week. They began investigating the scene after the first discovery was made or a human skull was was discovered by utility employee in a riverbed K. What I heard that? I immediately. Went back to the fact that is in the Santa Clara river bed when it happened to start writing. And we all we all agreed. The rain came Wednesday and Thursday, right. Pretty good rain to. Yeah. Okay. So for people that don't know this in nineteen. No, I'm sorry. Let me get that. Right in nineteen twenty nine. The dam upstream. The so-called Francis Kita or Saint Francis dam up the riverbed on the way north in the antelope valley. If he go on if if you're in Santa Kurita, and you know, copper he'll drive if you go up Francis Kito you parallel the riverbed this was where the famous twilight zone helicopter accident happened. Years and years ago. Well, back in one thousand twenty nine there was a dam up there and on a extremely extremely rainy night the the dam failed on March twelfth nineteen twenty eight. This is Mojo in wash wasn't it. This was his fault. Yeah. And it turned into the worst civil engineering disaster in American history. Why they literally have no idea. How many thousands of people were killed because the dam was designed and Mulholland said make it ten feet taller. And then it was a daily news in March of one thousand nine hundred twenty eight it rained for days and days the damn overfilled, and it was not designed to hold that much water. Mulholland NADA trained engineer knowns if you know anything about Mulholland and your water in Los Angeles. You know, it's a miracle that you turn the faucet, and it gets there. But so this thing burst in nineteen March in nineteen twenty eight the deal was hundreds of migrant a fruit pickers and workers in the Santa Clarita valley. Lived along that river bed below the dam and the dam burst at like eleven at night eleven fifty seven, and it came all the way down through Santa Kurita took a right and went down toward Ventura towards more park and Fillmore, and it took hundreds probably thousands of people. So literally for weeks, they were finding bodies in Ensenada, Mexico and up in moral. Wow. What weeks right? And so they don't know how many bodies are in that riverbed, and I wanna say like in nineteen eighty eight in Santa Clarita, they found a body wearing overalls, and they roped it off take it off as a homicide scene. And they they found out that it was a body from nineteen twenty eight from the dam disaster. And they literally have no idea how many bodies this is the first thing I thought of and I I don't know how to call the detectives at LA county. But I would just tell them tell the new station or whoever, you know. And I think. They know because there are memorials and stuff, but but if you find a skull in a riverbed below anywhere below the Francis Kito damn as one of the first things that would come to mind to me would would be the two maybe forensically date the skeleton gives right? This is what it wasn't. He had never said bodied said skull. And so and a hat can turn into a fleshless skull in about two weeks doesn't takes eighty years ninety years, but we add freight ninety years, but, but that's that's the first thing that that. I thought of was what if this is one of those bodies from nineteen twenty eight that was covered in San for for ninety years. And then the first healthy rain that we get in a couple of years because this is what it is gonna do. It's gonna erode erode erode over the silt from nineteen twenty eight. So I wonder I'm gonna pay attention to this. If this turns out to be a body that was simply washed cleaned. It was exposed. Caused by the rain on Wednesday, and the skull became disarm related as Scott Peterson said, and then they found the rest of the body. That would be fascinating to me. If it's if it's a murder, I hope they get the perpetrator immediately post taste. Yeah. They did say remains. Yeah. It does sound like bones more bone. Yeah. So that would be a fascinating to a history dork like me, so that would have been at least fifty miles from where they were probably inundated. No, actually, no. It would be maybe twelve miles downstream. Yeah. Yeah. And everybody was washed out Aventura out of the river river mouth Ventura and in one thousand nine hundred eighty eight hundreds of bodies were washed out to sea. So that's why they will never really know how many people die, but it's probably thousands. Could they not release pressure on the on the damn? Nope. It was an earthen dam, and and Mulholland was an idiot. He was a Griffin and an idiot and and a complete scam artist, and it's a miracle that we don't have more Pauley pavilion disasters like like four years ago. The great Pauley pavilion house abroad that was a busted Wasserman. Yep. That was crazy because he he would he would charge the city of LA Bill for three inch thick water mains. And then he would have his his cronies cast inch and a half thick water mains because he's gonna know because they know they would all be dead. When they I remember when when Ventura boulevard eight that fire truck a couple of years ago, that's LA DWP had no idea that that water main was there. Because not this. I guess I suppose I can defend this this is it doesn't get any more super, hyper local in this. John mo- Holland. Blackmailed Los Angeles. When the city bought the private company that became LA DWP. They didn't want him. And he knew that for years. Well, he had a little trick. He never used the same crew for different water mains. The only person with a map of the water system, including the valley was John Mulholland in his head right in his head. And and there there you go. Well, so and I keep saying John, I know my it's William William Mulholland will have the fountain Griffith park in his William on Holland came from oil and self taught engineer, but not a very good one Scotties was he really is Irish and Belfast Ireland.
