"Not just he's not just representing himself. He's representing the NBA's representing the grizzlies and it's not easy the responsibilities that come with that, but there's a lot of positives and obviously NBA athletes generally willing to make that tradeoff for a lot of reasons. So at the end of the day, you're right. He needs to make better choices because he's putting himself in danger with what he's doing right now. And look, we can talk about basketball when John morant comes back, but he may have just submarine this entire grizzly season. There's only what 18 to 20 games left for them at this point. He's going to miss a chunk of them. Now we get Brandon Clark, done for the season with an Achilles injury. This was a year that Memphis could have entered the playoffs legitimately thinking they could win the west at least. And now everything is in limbo at the moment. They still have the number two seed, but they could get caught, they could wind up slipping even more, all this could have basketball consequences, as well as real world consequences. All right, I want to talk about Chris herring's favorite team, the New York Knicks, they are surging right now. Winners of 9 in a row, they are sitting in the number 5 seed at the moment in the Eastern Conference. They just won a thriller in Boston a couple of days ago, being the Celtics in double overtime, manual quickly, a tour de force in that game. Just a ridiculous performance by Emmanuel quickly. The Knicks are in, I believe, as we speak, the top 5 or 6 in offensive rating, they are top 15 in defensive rating, they're playing with confidence, they have all stars and Jalen Brunson and Julius Randle, Julius Randle rather Dylan Brunson on that level. I guess the question I'm going to ask you herring is that two years ago we kind of saw this, right? We saw a great Knicks regular season team. Is this team different? Does this team have playoff success potential or at least more playoff success potential than the team we saw a couple of years ago? Yes, just to put it bluntly, yes. I think two things. One, yes, they are not an elite team defensively on paper. They are a lot more formidable when Mitchell Robinson is there. And he missed a lot of time and they were playing 500 ball. During the time he was out, which, you know, for them is not bad, but they are an elite team, defensively, especially now with Josh Hart. They've got so many wings they can throw out there. That are disruptive. They've got everybody kind of playing on a string, playing hard. Was a sneaky good pickup. Josh Hart. Thank you. He was and to Chris point. I don't give a damn the Knicks win, lose what have you. But I do pay more attention to them just by having covered them before. I follow so many Knicks fans who were kind of like angry that the Knicks were giving up on reddish, angry that they're giving up first to get Josh Hart, and I was like, have you watched him play? Like the team struggled, particularly with Mitchell Robinson was out with rebounding. Josh Hart is great at rebounding. He's great and transition. He was one of the best single transition players in the league, just coast to coast. He's a guy that hustles like he's Tom thibodeau's fever dream. Like he's perfect for them. And that's even if he's not shooting well, he has a role on that team. Not to mention that I think advertently inadvertently he's someone that went RJ Barrett is shooting you out of a game that you can plug in. And it puts pressure on RJ Barrett that he doesn't just have carte blanche to shoot poorly to not play with effort. It is a great pickup for them. And so I think the addition of him and their rotation, Quentin Grimes has obviously been there. It also puts pressure on him from time to time when he's not playing well. You don't have to use Barrett, who was shot poorly at times, but has been okay lately. And, you know, to the other part of Chris's question, do they have more of a ceiling than last time, yeah, they have a point guard now. They don't have to rely on Derek rose playing 35 minutes in a playoff game off the bench or having to start him all of a sudden when he's come off the bent all season because you have Alfred Peyton as your point guard. So Jalen Brunson, it goes without saying that he's a guy that can go out and get you 40 if he has to. And that they're also winning games without him. They're beating elite teams without him or at least the Celtics without him the other night because Emmanuel quickly might be the 6th man of the year this year. So there's no question in my mind there are better team there a little bit more experience. Julius Randle looks far more comfortable and you don't have to rely on him to do everything the way that you were trying to do the last time, which that, you know, as much as I love Brunson, the big question is, how does Randall do? Because he looked totally overmatched when they played Atlanta a couple of years ago on that stage. He wasn't ready. He wasn't able to kind of take on the double teams. He wasn't making the right decisions when he was doubled. Having Brunson there is a guy that can dictate a lot of that dictate where the ball goes and also having more shooters than they had on that roster. I think we'll take them a lot further in addition to Mitchell Robinson if he stays healthy. They are scary. The Knicks are good. First of all, just incredibly fun to watch. Especially the last couple months, you know, I do the entertainment rankings for a side before the year every year. And I always put the Knicks low because they always play these grind out games, the offense generally under tibs has not been very good. It's been a complete flip of the script this year where they have a really good and fun offense. You mentioned Julius Randle can you hold up? Like oh, Julius Randle and apology because I thought the season he had a couple years ago when they made the playoffs when they had the first constraint against the hawks. I thought it was a little bit of a fluke. I'm like, this guy had 9 months off. Some players are coming back. After 70 days, the Knicks had all this time and they make a run, you know, remember the Celtics get swept the first round that you're like, the heat got swept in the first round. They were the Conference Finals here before. It felt like a weird season. Then last year he comes back down to earth, but we're seeing now a team that's built so well around its two best players and Brunson and Randall. That they're in much better positions to thrive. I mean, Randall has turned into one of the best isolation players in the NBA, his three point percentage is way up.

"We are back, and we thank you very much for being here on a Friday afternoon. Peggy is in Tennessee, hello Peggy. Argue there? I am Peggy. How are you? I okay. Outside, my pleasure. That was my day. I was almost gonna hire you if I said it was like being, you know, being on hold, it reminded me that just dating back in the 70s and 90s, I just didn't like it. And then that last call, and I'm telling you. I just didn't know. How? I just don't even know. You did that yourself and good for you. Well, thank you, Peggy. Good for you. It was absolutely that, you know, look, I'm the oh, well, I just don't need to know. I think it was just kind of in that way. You know, and good for you. That was really good. I enjoyed that. I'm talking about that I said that. That just kind of went out the window, so Peggy was the lord. I had some things that I was going to say that I didn't feel like it said. I didn't feel like anything funny makes sense, I didn't feel like having real good done lord's story to tell you that I don't even think that it's right now. I just would say you handled it and I'll call back and tell you about the John Woods. I look forward to that because John Morgan is one of my favorite people when I was at school up there. Hey, thank you very, very much. Jason is up next in Georgia. Hey, Jason. Hey, Paul, you said something about a GM stupid off at the mouth before he thinks that's every day. Off the bout, but he never just started speaking and then he said, that's all right. Should have said that. But that's what he does anytime that he calls. Now the Brandon Miller thing, I don't know anything for a fact, but if you want to tell me that at this age, you have kids over their cell phones, everybody are with their cell phone. That you had no idea that the gun was in the car, that you're going somewhere to 30 in the morning, and there's no light. Did anything bad to come from this? I'm not buying it. I found it. I found it a really beyond the pale for this woman a minute ago. To suggest, that's a bad actor here was the boyfriend of the deceased. Well, yeah, I mean, that's just like, I don't even know where to make those kind of phone calls. You just like, let's just go 100%. I mean, four Alabama. I know you're an Alabama fan, but I don't understand how people are not able to think through things. I don't really get it, I guess. It's an emotional issue. Thank you for the call. I think a lot of it is based on misinformation and there's a lot of reasons for that. I'm Ann is up next. Well, I don't know what the hell happened. But I don't normally drink a lot, but today is Friday. It's been an unusual week. 'cause in 80 didn't get on the stand. And I've drank a little tequila. And I tell you what, his balance is cutting off the ears, Peter. Is that right, Peter? That's a kilo. Is that like a tequila sunrise? No, that's just straight damn. So it's not another tequila sunrise. Hey, this is Michael Jackson moonwalking tequila. Oh, okay. You know, I'll tell you what I think I'm gonna do. Yeah, yes, it's eagles, but it ain't the easy thing with. But it is easy. I think I'm gonna cut off Mitch's here. I'm gonna cut off Destin's here, and we'll cut off one of the gyms ears, and I'm gonna tell them all go to finger painting class and call yourself damn thing go. Have a good day. Michael is up next. Hello, Michael. Hey, Paul. Good afternoon, hey. I just want to mention something about this Brandon Miller situation. Okay. I've been okay. I've been listening. This is linked down to your station. And I've heard the majority of the people throw this kid under the bus. He should be arrested, you know, he's an accessory, should be put off the team, they don't should be fired, but it's just amazing. Amazing how the mob jumps onto something before all the facts are out. Now what I wanted to mention is the issue regarding miles text and Miller bringing my gun. So what people, it seems like they fail to realize that miles had already tested Miller to come pick him up that he wanted to go to another club. Another bar and other club, one or the other. But this text message that came through, who's to say that Miller even read the text message while he was on the way to pick up miles. That's what I haven't heard one person mentioned that yet. Maybe he didn't see the text message. I mean, when I'm driving, if I don't have my phone paid to my, you know, I'm not reading the text coming in right off the right off hand right when it comes in. So that's just what I think I don't think Miller read the text message. I don't think he knew the gun was in the car because from what I've heard it was under close or books or something in the back seat. He never touched the weapon and I guarantee you when miles was arrested and when Miller was brought in for questioning the police went through both of their phones and I guarantee you they saw Miller

"Them because you ask them, you guys go to zone, you're better in zone, basically. And you see it with a lot of teams now. The heat still run by far the most zone in the league, but I think the other teams started to adopt it. And on a point where physician based, there are some teams like the kings, for example, that are way better in zone, and yet it's not something that they go. You'll never see a team play zone as their base defense. I just thought it was really interesting. His answer about it about how he doesn't want to give up too many offensive rebounds. He's trying to disrupt rhythm. That cost benefit analysis that coaches have to make. It's kind of an interesting wrinkle in the game these days. Oh, absolutely. I mean, I think to his point, essentially what he said is that, yes, they're basically the best team in the league at limiting scores when they go zone. That said, they go zone like one, one and a half percent of the time. It's very, very small. Like most teams aside from Miami, Portland, what have you? So I asked him, would there be an openness to go toward that more? And he said, well, I don't think so. One, we only go zone when we're really, really struggling, even more than we normally do defensively to get stops. When we're in man, two, I just think the cost benefit of it is not worth it. When you consider that we're a team that occasionally just doesn't box out at all. And the responsibility of boxing out becomes too vast, too great. If we're defending areas instead of people, you don't know these guys are still new to really defending at the level that I'm asking them to. And if they're not even defending an individual person at any given moment, they're defending us area. How do they know who to box out? Do they know who to box out? Will that make our box outs better? And I think his answer was basically no. So, you know, it's interesting for that standpoint I also thought it was very interesting to hear him essentially say out loud, you know, we don't have, we've got guys that can defend, but they're not really ideal defenders just based on their length, their height, their defensive athleticism. He pointed out Fox as a guy that he thinks has that potential and I think it's why he kind of has leaned on him more heavily. He's also the star of the team. And so he kind of like Greg Popovich did with Tim Duncan. You want to put more responsibility on his shoulders. You want to coach him harder with the thought that everybody else will respond to that and see that, oh, well, if the Aaron's falling in line, then I have to do that as well. But he's seemed to be saying pretty clearly that this is not necessarily the best roster ever built. As far as defense is concerned and to Monty mcnair, I posed the question to him too for a story that I'm going to write for the magazine. I told him, frankly, in my opinion, it doesn't matter, but then I was a little bit surprised that the kings didn't make a move for a backup big because Mike Brown has talked a lot this year about cycling through his bigs to kind of find somebody to find something consistent and never confirmed denied that they looked for that. He was like, canvas and tried to see what was out there, but ultimately we don't want to give up a core piece of this group. Everybody's relatively young with the exception of really Harrison Barnes, who I think is 30. And so he's like, we didn't want to give up the core piece to get something that might help somewhere else. We looked, we didn't see anything worth it. We move on. So it'll be interesting. I felt like I heard a little bit of dissonance there between not intentionally obviously, but just, you know, Mike Brown was very clear and saying like, I didn't come here to make the playoffs. Modding mcnair on the other hand, when I spoke to him was like, we want to make the playoffs. He didn't say end all be all, but he was like, you talk to people here. That's what they care about. And granted, it has been 16 years, so I understand that. But my question for everybody on that front was just kind of like, what happens when you make the playoffs, which it seems like now, you know, they've won all their games since the break. They're very likely to do. They probably need 6 or 7 more games to put themselves in that spot. It seems very likely that they're going to do that, is it as easy as just flipping a switch when you've said playoff playoff playoff playoffs then you get there and are you just happy to be there? Or are you competing to win around or two? When you're a third seed, you're normally expected to win that first round. Not just happy to be there. So it's been a really interesting year. I know it's been a really fun year for their fans. I'm happy for them. I've talked to a lot of them. I talked to a lot of people there a little bit frustrated that they had season tickets or convinced their wife or whatever to get season tickets last year and now one year later, they got rid of the tickets because they weren't enjoying the games last year and they couldn't resell them because they suck so much and now they're 35 and 25. Best offense in NBA history probably and statistically. And it's a different vibe, but I know that fans are really proud of that team and it's been really fun to watch them even if they've got flaws. Yeah, it's been fantastic. They've been really fun. Recently, a new client called me and started by saying mister Morgan, I really need your help, but I'm just a nobody. "The fourth quarter? Yes, that's a concern. I mean, you know, and he might not play at all, which I believe would void the bet. There's always risk, but I think there's upside. I mean, if he scores 40 points, you're feeling good. And he's been scoring, so I think he's still leading the league in scoring. Either him or Luca, they've been back and forth a bit. But, you know, looking at and also it's just fun to have a rooting interest in that. Like some of the some of the cross sport ones are very random even for me. So I like to tie in betting on the two Philly teams. But yeah, you know, Jimmy, I'm worried about everything. I'm always worried. But this one is minus one ten, so it's a little throwaway. It's a fun way to have action on two games. That's the life of a better. There you go. My last one, you know, Mitch said it earlier, you want to have some sort of long shot odds in there, try to maybe get lucky, make some big money on the long shot. I'm gonna go will there be over time, yes, plus 900. We have not had an overtime game in the postseason. You know, everyone's expecting a close game minds one and a half just seems like if you want to fly air for some value at plus 900, you know, I think we'd all be surprised if the game was a blowout. Mitch said 30 to 26. Maybe we can get 26, 26, go to overtime 29, 26, you want to have your bet. I love plus 900 here. And it just feels like, it feels like we're set up for an overtime game, which we haven't had in the postseason that gets screwed up by the refs. That would be the way to end the season, I think. Yeah, for a little bit. The new overtime rules, there was so much attention on them, and we haven't seen it yet this season. We have not seen them yet. So that would be my last one for you there over time plus 900. Just as a value play. part of the reason I like the offense is just putting together a lot of sustained drives. And I do like the over, even though sustained drives tend to be bad for the over. But I think the NFL put Carl cheffers on this game to maybe kind of diffuse the, you know, we talk about it all the time. You get to the postseason. These are when the casual fans kind of tune in and you don't want a penalty filled slog, I think they're putting chapters on this game because his crew through the most flags this year edit shepherd is also a and last year, two years in a row. Yeah, so but I think it's staying in their pocket. I think this is going to be a very flag free game. And then on top of that, they can say like, well, are you people complaining about the fact that the chiefs hold on in every single offensive snap? We put shepherd on the game. No flat. And I think he's also called, I think he's also because I wrote a column about this last week. He's also called, I think the most or the second most PIs of any ref this year. And you have here offices that like to throw the ball so that could come into play. All right, all right. But I also went to the cross sports thing and I tried to pick out the stupidest one. That's stupid, just absurd. But yeah, I'm going Travis Kelce. Can I digress and just focus? Yeah. Not stupid, just absurd. Yes. Can I get a breakdown in a difference? Stupid is like this is, this is a terrible idea that should never have seen the light of day. Absurd is more, okay, this is ridiculous that this is available, but why not tune into Niagara iona Matt pack basketball. And see how it goes. So I'm going Travis Kelce -5 and a half against iona total points up in Niagara in this matchup here. The gales shooting 25.4% from three over their 7 true road games this season. Quinn still out out for the season now. You probably know him better as the muskrat as he's known around New Rochelle. I think we all know why. And I know some of you are looking at Ken pom and you're saying, but ionas a top 100 adjusted tempo team, lots of possessions of this game, but Niagara, bottom ten in the country, as far as pace, we're in the slowest paced teams in the nation. I think Niagara controls the tempo, Rick Pitino's guys shoot poorly. I don't think I own a break 60 in this game. So this wine is kind of stunning to me here. Easy one for Travis Kelce. This is perfect and I just shall be you have to clip that and if Gary wins the bet we just need to send that out all over social. I love the amount of the amount of research you did for that one Gary. Thank you. Did I spend 80% of my time researching the show on the iona gales? I was literally bouncing off the stage. Like crazy i was like jumping up and down. It was so fun. Or you're reconsidering your career path singer. Bobby see what you are. Dreams bobby. She's old enough to be honest with her that she shouldn't chase her dreams. Like you know how those parents take their kids to try out for american idol. It's like you know they're not good enough but you still take them. Just tell her. Hey it was a good job. But don't chase her dream. Well i thought you did a great job help. Your birthday was awesome. And i think if you wanna work this show and you do indeed produce chuck's podcast and you still want to go sing a little bit. Don't let anybody tell you you ain't good. I hope you do what you wanna do. Whatever fills you up okay. great job. Great job abby your louisiana woman and nine one. One dispatcher is currently wanted by authorities in new orleans after allegedly filming several emergency calls and then hang up on people in need of assistance man. I call she's twenty five. She stands accused of malfeasance in office. And interfering with an emergency communication for allegedly disconnecting calls without gathering the requisite information. But the weird thing is why is she on the run. Yeah for that. Go to prison for this. I would think it'd be a prison charge except for now that you're on the run now it's going to be enough of it could be it then. Why is she hanging up on people. Like i'm just gonna go or my mind spirals if you know the person that's doing the wrong to the person that's calling. That would be a reason. Do that's next level thinking. And that's wow i mean. Is that large worn out for her arrest on both charges. I'm sure it's an overwhelming job. So maybe sometimes overwhelmed so she just overwhelmed by this job john. Exactly i think that now. We know she can't do this job. What was she charged with mount. If that's exactly malfeasance now googling malfeasance. Because i want to know why that's why she will go to jail or what. I don't know what what is. What is your search you Malfeasance the willful inappropriate action or intentional incorrect action or advice. And you're you're you're in you could injure a party. I mean the thing is people's lives are in danger and they're at risk if they're calling nine one one potentially in your hanging up on them like you you could be the reason someone lives or dies. It's true i agree. Don't yell and you're yelling amy's right now taking on me fees. I heard someone on the run or getting in trouble because they have nine one calls has as important causes or make and we need some unanswered. Yeah there was a story about a woman associated by a spider that she screams and then the police came because of her blood-curdling. Scroll well because when you hear a scream obvious you're like what happened whereas that story so they go to her house and they're like no problem. She saw spider but it made lunchbox remember his first ever nine one one call. 'cause that's his thing he loves to call nine one. Was someone screamed. I was a sophomore in college. And i just thought of it. When i read this story and in the middle of the night. I heard the woman next door screaming and so i called nine one one. The police knocked on her door. And i don't ever know what happened. Because i never really talked to her the next day but the police came in the door and left but it was like three. Am when she was screaming. And i remember calling nine one one and that story right there made me and that's when my nine one love you know half anything again. That's when i opened a whole new pandora's box eventually get finer. Like where are they now. The nine one one victims then through his life. Yeah let's go over and talk to charlie and west. No one's asking you to sing. She can't sing when you can't seem right but i don't claim to be a singer. Abby says she's a singer that's what she was gonna do for a career and i was just. I'm just telling you do as a career. I was just letting you know the she wasn't gonna do it. His career Charlie thank you. We can't carry a tune in a gallon bucket. Got no there all right boot. Did wanna go on stage to prove to people. How hard is sing and beyond be and i think i proved that because it was very difficult. I did everything. I could hold my hand in my ear. It was not easy. he was doing. The thing like christina aguilera does when she's in a studio got ta crushed it. It was so bad in rehearsal but the lights came on. And so did. So there's a guy named ron professor at cornell university he was living with end stage renal disease. He'd been on dialysis for five years to give them more time with his family. Seventy five years old. He says you know he was giving up on getting that new kid need that he just wasn't getting then he got a call. It said hey. We had a donor come forward. The donor wanted to remain anonymous. But he was like let me know who they are. He begged them. That's when a message from co worker of seven years whose an associate professor cornell his name is adam settling one out of them wanted to donate his kidney but first he wasn't allowed because he wasn't healthy enough so we spent two years as this guy was going through the five years of dialysis improving his health in order to donate a kidney. He improved his diet stabilize his blood sugar. He lost twenty five pounds all while trying to get approval for transplant. Finally got approval was able to give them the transplant. That's a double like just don't donation has the biggest part but the met two years. Yeah that's crazy story. Good on new. Atoms will when i mean. He's an associate professor bump him up promotion. That's what it's all about right there. That was telling me something. Good talk to michael and manhattan. Kansas michael in more thirty of more than probably My wife and i went to your body on sunday night. First of all fantastic. I've lied. I really hope you do it again. Great show thank you with everybody performed No i want to say. Thank you to you and I taught at nine in the crowd and costume. Our baby onesie that my wife and i made talk about the newborn and teamer on it and i just wanted to say thank you because i didn't get to say thank you at know i appreciate that and why two weekend shows. I will play you in a little bit. Raymundo performing kid rock cowboy in texas abby performing heads carolina tells california in kansas because we had a special show appearance each night. Yeah so. I'll play that audio coming up in a minute but i mean the great couple of days. Thousands and thousands of people is unbelievable. And just thank you michael. Thank you for that call man. You had a great time nobody. Let's do the news. Every bobby's stories got three good ones today. The first one is a man was trying to smuggle three hundred and fifty pounds of meat over the texas border. Us border authorities confiscated the meat from a man attempting to smuggle the goods over the border. They discovered the haul around six. Am the guy. Twenty was carrying three hundred twenty pounds of pork baloney thirty pounds of turkey. Ham in the back seat of twenty twelve honda. Odyssey would be a truck or something. Yeah it'd be hidden on the autism basically just sitting in the back seat belt over a border agent ordered a secondary inspection due to the drivers negative declaration of carrying foods because he can see the meat in the back seat. Got new food. Eddie as someone who grew up at the border and you had across the border. A bunch yes. What's the deal with crossing the border with stuff. Do most people just get through. Because they don't get checked. Everybody gets to go to mexico. No problem i mean they don't care what you take in their america doesn't care what you're taking mexico coming back into america from mexico it's high security and it does start with a question. Do on clear anything. i citizens. Yes great are you bringing anything from mexico. Then you have to tell them what you have if you don't and they suspect something they're like going to stall number four please and they just check your entire vehicle sometimes if you play it so cool. Do they not suspect anything you do. Sneak stuff in sometimes what we would do kids because we weren't supposed to be going over there as like high school kids. We were put on like a nice easy listening music. And we're good kids. You play michael bolton that way. They're just like these guys are cool there no problems but what were you smuggling back. Nothing just weird just drinking over. There were no. We didn't want to deal what you wanna do. You ever smuggled food. It's nerve wracking smuggling to haiti. I've taken like lemons. You have to declare it. And i don't and they ask me. Do you have anything. But i really didn't want them to take my lemons so like no. I'm good and i start sweating. 'cause i'm like what if they bust me for my lemons because it's against the law that i made a amigos keyser cell phone into a prison. No okay yeah next story. If you go over to cameo you'll see all these people that are like cut video for ya and and i'll say your friends name and it'll cost you this much money. They have now released the top five most popular tv stars for cameo now. This is most videos done and has not most money made because some of the videos pretty cheap william hung from american idol. A number five. How he she bangs she bangs. Fun fact eddie nine. I met ever at a william hung event. That's right we brought him in for the radio station and eddie was doing news. They're crazy. I was there to interview william hong. But he wasn't available so i interviewed bobby. Excess number. Four larry thomas who is the nazi on seinfeld funny eighty bucks number three now. This guy makes more money than the rest because he charges so much. But in number of videos made brian. Baumgartner kevin malone from the office one josh sussman from glee and wizards of waverly place. I don't morgan. Who josh sussman is. Yeah no for sure i do. I'm looking at a picture of him. He kind of has bob ross hair. Yeah he was really number one. Ed big ed brown from ninety day fiance. Okay i've never heard of him sixty nine dollars now. Of course people love that ninety day. Fiance show so much. So where i go mentioned should i even get into. What do they do. I don't there unless someone watches it. I don't want to speak wrongly on it. But isn't it where they get someone from another country that comes in and they have ninety days. You have to watch fiancee of all the shows. We.

"Cover. That whole motors cover slander. So you guys when you all are slandering people and i understand you all do quite a bit of slander. Down there but When you slander someone. Many times your homeowners will cover your the cost of defense and your claim for slander. How did you all the fine print and those homeowners policy. How did you feel whenever the people sued subway for not having enough tuna tuna sandwich and there's a class action lawsuit. Did you feel like that was warranted. It could be. I mean you know. There's a lot of of bs class actions out there but on the other hand well first of all it to me. That's i don't know about that. You have to believe that adds slander. Jon morgan that slander coverage well look slander. There is one thing but Truth is an absolute defense to slander. But no seriously the it. It probably is a climb. Because are you really getting tuna fish. Are you really getting enough tuna fish. What does it say on the side. We trust what it says on the side of the package but i would say by and large. There's a lot of class actions. That's just really more for the lawyers than for the consumers. Jon morgan of morgan and morgan. If i go to a restaurant. And i burn the top of my mouth on a really hot piece of pizza. Do i have a case. Probably not the famous mcdonald's case now remember that's what we all. We all think about the famous. Mcdonald's case where the woman got the hot coffee what you got to remember that case is mcdonald's was heating that coffee up at like one hundred forty degrees. It was steaming hot. The reason they did it was because by the time people got the back to the office. The coffee was coldly kep eating it up hotter and hotter and hotter and hotter. They had had many cases like that before but they never turn the heat down the coffee. If you google that case and look at the women's burns you will not believe what happened to her legs and so that verdict came after many many bites of the apple. Where mcdonald didn't change their conduct and the verdict was reduced substantially but if a pizza place over and over and over was cooking their pizzas so hot that the cheese was burning off the flesh on the roof of your mouth and they never change conduct. Then you might have a case but not a one off you know. it's always at least in my lifetime. I've been told if there's an accident person who rear ends the person is at fault. is that true. It's always the person's fault who does rear ending. No because there's there's a big defense out there called sudden stop and listen up. How many of us have had people suddenly stop in front of us. So you've got people who are not paying attention ahead of you suddenly. Stop all of a sudden. You're caught off guard and you don't have time to react. So what was the rule. What was the rule in driver's ed. We're supposed to be one car linked behind per ten miles an hour hour. Whatever so. i got a driver's ed park high school. So sudden stop won't affect you if you're not if you follow that rule. This is not injury related. But if i were to win the lottery what the first step you recommend for me to do legally if you are you married. Okay i was gonna suggest you go to vegas to the bunny ranch. But i'll crash that The first thing i would do is i would go around my family and give them make them as whole as i possibly could if they had debt in their debt if they had financial troubles out in their troubles and then i'd go to go to europe on vacation but legally if i win millions of dollars. Should i call an attorney to say. Hey watch over this or do i just run wild and free like you're saying i wouldn't run wild and free. I'd i wouldn't call a lawyer. Because i don't know what a lawyer i mean. What is the you're to go help you pick up the check. But i i'd be happy to represent you and i'll only take twenty five percents. I do ause we're friends. Of course i you. All will always have the morgan and morgan friends and family discount. So if you or anybody on at the station wins the lottery. I'll do it for twenty five percent. Maybe less mortgage mortgage baby less. They're offering one hundred thousand dollars in a contest for a new jingle. They're looking for a catchy tune. And not just and he loves music but not just for his own enjoyment so big prize one hundred thousand bucks and so do you wanna play yours eddie. Absolutely i want to let them know that. I'm in on this contest so mr morgan. We actually have eddie. Who is a real musician. Who has made a jingle. Would you like to hear it right now. I would okay here we go. And how long is it thirty. It's oh it's thirty to thirty six. Listen to here i want. I want him to know this before he goes in. Listen to there are multiple jingles in one part of the rules. You have to put certain slogans in there like for the people and dial pound law. That's all so those are all in there. But think of this as different ways. You can use this slogan. Are you prepared to hear a thirty second. I think he's talking about jingles within the jing. That's what i'm talking about. jon morgan. You know what. I'm talking about goals within the jingle. I love it ray. Let's make sure he can hear it through the phone. Just let them here. A second of it looped. Okay can you hear that. Dial that thing.

Paul som- actually came and played and But yeah there was there. We we listened to willie wrote whatever the willie road serious music and we have sandwiches and other refreshments the refreshments. I think we need no okay. Listen we love when you come on because you shed light on situations that we just don't know the answer to for example. Amy got in iraq and a guy tried to pay her in cash on the spot. What do you do if you get into a wreck. And they don't have insurance but they want to give you cash right there. Well cat cash without a release is just cash gone. But i wouldn't take it what i would tell you is if they don't have insurance. Maybe you do. And you have. What's called uninsured or underinsured motors coverage but usually the people are trying to pay for cash. They have bigger problems. No insurance like no driver's license like warrant for their arrest like escapee from prison. So it's usually not about insurance. It's usually about something else and you did not take the cash. Yeah i almost dead. Just because i didn't want to take anything. I just felt so bad because he was just so insistent that we not call the police. And i of course like was feeling really bad for him even though the wreck was totally his fault. But yeah i didn't take it. But he's offering me two hundred dollars. And i got the damage assassin. It's a five thousand dollar thing to fix and yeah and having to go through my insurance to do it. He might have insurance. You know. don't don't let that. Don't let the two hundred dollars because a lot of people are thinking. Hey i'd rather pay two hundred dollars and not having my rates go up. A lot of people. Try to make a business decision at the scene of the accident. another situation. that happened here. Lunchbox fox on our show dented. A car with a shopping cart as he was trying to squeeze between two cars in a parking lot is he legally responsible to pay for that damage yes he is and most likely his homeowner's insurance will cover that claim homeowners though it was a basket from a grocery store how does homeowners.

"And his family penny corrupt. And Trump for quite a while. Well, now it turns out that we're allowed to talk about it, cause he's president. With the Daily Mail and Fox News reported in late December that Hunter Biden was in the process off off, loading his stake in a Chinese private equity firm called Be HR. According to the daily caller, only one problem, 100 still is holding a 10% stake in that Chinese, a private equity firm. Daily Mail and Fox News cited unnamed source of Hunter Biden and his business dealings. But 100 continues, told that equity stake through his company scandals. LLC as of Wednesday, according to question bow and by due to independent services that provide bread business records on Chinese corporations. Under bite is the sole benefit beneficial owner of that LLC. HR managers, the equivalent of $2.1 billion in assets in his co own by the Chinese state Control of Bank of China so no possibility of a corruption here, given the fact that Hunter Biden owns a 10% stake in a Chinese government, state sponsored company, probably that's fine. Meanwhile, Joe Biden had to issue like an actual over warning to other members of his family for using his name in their advertising. According to Politico, in the midst of his campaign for President Joe Biden took his younger brother, Frank aside, Daschle warning for Christ sake, watch yourself by instead of his brother's potential business dealings, according to a person with knowledge of the conversation. Don't get sucked into something that would first of all hurt you. Mm hmm. Yeah, I'm sure that that was what Joe was typically worried about. Biden, whose tone was both jocular and serious, according to the person seemed to know what is becoming plainly obvious. Now his family's business ties threatened to undermine an administration who's messaging is centered on restoring integrity in the White House. Oh, it's it's becoming plainly obvious. Now, you say. White. Oh, my like now in January of 2021. So much had been pointing out that there were corrupt dealings inside the Biden family for years, but it only became relevant Magic. And now you know, it's not threatening his campaign anymore. Now it's only threatening his White House. It's amazing how that happened. I mean, imagine if we had had like a copy of $100 laptop. It was publicly available as of October and being printed in the New York Post. It seems like that might have been relevant. Maybe this some information on that laptop about corrupt business dealings between members of Joe Biden's family and foreign adversaries. Maybe Maybe we should've reported on that at the time away. You say that social media shut down all dissemination of that information, and the mainstream news media decided to essentially ignore it, calling it a right wing plot. Oh, that Yeah, well, look it safely over now. Now we could talk about it. So political talking about it now. Relatives money making ventures, most prominently his son hunters. Overseas dealings have long dog Biden, but it's taking on a new dimension. Now that he's in the White House on Lee a week into his presidency, Biden already has had to answer for matters related to his family. Law firm and promoting Frank Biden's relationship with president caused a stir when it ran on Inauguration Day. Ah federal investigation into biting son Hunter has invited scrutiny of just how strict firewall he'll keep between the White House and the Justice Department. Another one of the president's brothers, James has previously come under fire for his business dealings. Florida super Attorney and Democratic donor, John Morgan said business sensitivities were coursing through Biden World this week after the report about Frank Biden's law firm, But friend told me is my brother loves me dearly, but if I lobbied he would cut my legs from underneath me, Morgan said. Frank Biden told him this week. Oh yes, I'm sure. I'm sure that that's perfectly accurate. I'm sure that Frank Biden lobby Jo Jo, We just cut him off dead. It's not stopping Frank from going around touting the fact that Joe's brother, is it. Intends of Joe Biden's initial conversation. According to the person with knowledge of the conference nation was to protect Frank from bring hurt and vilified in the event is big Brother Joli was elected to the most powerful position in the world. Okay, I have a feeling that the person who reported this initial conversation it might be connected with Joe Biden just just a thought. It's an anonymous source who is privy to a conversation between Joe Biden and his brother. I wonder who this is to the source could be So many possibilities, considering there were two people in the conversation and only one of the benefits from this conversation. But I'm so glad that that now we have decided that it's time to cover this stuff so well done, everybody. And speaking of which the Biden administration agenda is already starting to make itself felt in terms of what people would call crony capitalism is not. In fact, crony capitalism is just called corporate system, where the federal government essentially subsidizes particular business lines that in line with its thinking. Companies are already taking advantage of this. It is super corrupt and it is really bad. Typically, companies should serve the customer. They should serve markets instead of serving government subsidies. Unfortunately, now that you have a big government liberal in charge, this is exactly what you're going to get. GM has now announced it will sell only zero emission vehicles by 2035. Amazing that they waited until after Joe Biden took office to announce that they were shifting their entire production line almost is, though they know that if they do that, and then Joe Biden either forces all the other car companies to do it or they fail. Joe Biden Penza paying them that they're fine, So it's a win win for them. They're a major car company. Get into this with all sorts of government subsidies. They can know that other companies are gonna have to do the same thing. And then if things go bad, they know that because they did their best for Uncle Joe Joe is going to pay them. I mean, It's fairly obvious that this is the case. According to The New York Times. The days of the internal combustion engine are numbered..

"Requesting input from stakeholders and that's by its nature and by design takes on front. And then the most solid way to get something done. Isn't it go through Congress so The president's talking about combining some climate matters into budget reconciliation with his colleagues and on Capitol Hill that that could be done with majority vote so Republicans that might be inclined to block one would have less ability to do that. The wild card There is West Virginia Senator Joe Manchin was the Democrat who's going to take over the energy committee so he could be that one vote in a 50 50 Senate will have to be accommodated in some way, And that means Cool. And we are talking the Bloomberg News editor at large. John Morgan John, Let's also look at the Paris climate accord. One immediate move that President Biden made was to rejoin it. What does that do? Really puts the United States back in the driver's seat. This report was driven by President Obama and at the time section of state John Kerry, who president Biden now is chosen to be his wrote his ambassador for climate. So this puts the United States back at the table wood to use its moral suasion. And as much as possible to say, Yeah, we're gonna we we're we're willing to accept in the United States from pain and some dislocation and Migration of the economy in order to achieve what we feel is an important because an environmental objective that is vital Tito the globe's future. So we will be interesting to see if other countries followed that. When President Trump that pulled us out of the accord. Other countries took that as a sign they didn't need to take their own voluntary admission promises seriously, and they began the A lot of them and take their foot off the gas, so to speak, so we'll see if they can put this back together and get the United States and the rest of the world heading on a carbon cutting direction. Like you said. There are some things the president cannot do just with the stroke of a pen, and I would think that creating some sort of government commission focused on climate is one of those things you have to get people on that commission as well. Will the president be creating a government commission based on climate and job creation? And how is that gonna look? He did you hear that was part of a package of initiatives on Wednesday. In Washington, He's talked about several commissions to look at a climate from a variety of perspectives, including environmental justice, which is something that he has made a priority, looking at ways that pollution and climate change is affected. Poorer communities that often feel the brunt of your global warming and water's rising and the things so he's taking a look at it from the opposition. We see that also in his hiring somebody, the EPA director who is nominated Very active and environmental justice issues. So he's got a commission looking at Dad. He's forming commission with the heads of the different agencies in the federal government's saying, This is important to everybody. And I think we're going to see a vote very soon on a new transportation secretary who's Who's to say the job. The Transportation Department is also climate, so he's got the scent the word throughout all of his nominees for a variety of federal agency post in the Cabinet. Just be very much those climate is going to be part of the job of everyone in federal government. Are there any specific things that you're going to be watching for in the coming week when it comes to President Biden's executive orders or climate change regulation in general? Yeah, I think the question is what sort of risk response he gets from Congress. That's going to be important and there. Of course, we want to be keeping an eye on Joe Manchin, as I said the senator from West Virginia. Was very protective of the coal industry. And it's not a coincidence that when President Biden put on a temporary halt to the leasing of federal land for oil and gas Fossil fuel development. Cole was left off That list was conspicuous omission, given the role of coal in global warming. All right, we're going to continue to watch it with you. Thank you so much done. Thank you And me. Welcome Back to the grace, Curly Show. I want to think of Eva Trattoria for bringing in an amazing spread. Pizza was delicious. The chicken parm sandwiches, the chips Thea Orangina balls. It was all so good on my VIPs loved it. Then I think my V I P s. We've been having such a good time talking about See their their governor is Phil Murphy. And they're so proud of him pill of him so much now, So we're just talking about, you know, really bad governors and theirs was in the running for a while to be the worst. But Andrew Cuomo. I hate to break this to you guys. He just knocked you right out of the running. He is taking over before I go back to that, though. I see you guys in the lines a 44 542 42. We will get to the calls, but First I want to say There's a story right now about Joe Biden's brother and I was mistaking yesterday. I did call him by the right name, Frank. But I was confused about which brother this wasps because there's one brother who looks just like Joe. He looks exactly like him, and he sounds exactly like him. And then there's another brother, Frank Biden in Frank Biden is in a little bit of trouble. Because he released this weird it was this ad and I ready yesterday. And then more stories about it came out, including a story in politico. They decided to get back into the reporting game and do some actual stuff, and this is what they decided to go for. The reason he's in trouble. His cousin ad ran and the daily business Review and he talked about his relationship with Joe Biden. Now Frank is not a lawyer, but he works. I believe for a law firm. Strange. He must just have so much wisdom in general that he doesn't need to actually be a lawyer. He contribute so much else to the law firm. I'm sure if he's like all the other buttons. I'm sure he's top notch. But this is the quote that I don't think makes any sense. And Jared, I want you to tell me from wrong. I read this yesterday. I thought about it, and I'm I'm really confused. He's talking about Joe Biden, he says. My brother is a model for how to go about doing this work. One of his central tenants is that one should never question another man or woman's motives or assign blame to them. That way you avoid creating a disparity that prevents any kind of coming together. You can, of course questions someone's judgment and that's what we're doing by bringing this to court. Hmm. What And the reason I think this is so weird because it's getting Joe not in trouble in the sense like it would get trump in trouble. They're not going toe, you know, subpoena his whole family or anything, but it's creating a headache for Joe Biden and I'm just looking at it going was that even worth the headache? It's kind of ridiculous. But the story does get more interesting, because now it's coming out. That Biden, according to someone with knowledge of the conversation, said to his brother. Actually, hold on. I got assassins and I don't even know what is going on. I just He says, for Christ sakes, watch yourself, Biden said of his brother's potential business dealings. According to a person with knowledge of the conversation. Don't get sucked into something that would first of all her. You Wait, wait. Devout Catholic Joe Biden put the Lord's name in vain. Yes, I refused to believe this and I just did as well. And if my fiancee's grandmother is listening, I'm really sorry. You're reading a quote. I was reading a quote. That's what I used to say. When I was little, and I would swear I gave it was in a story. I'd say it's part of the story is part of the story. It really helps. My mom would always go. Okay. Yeah, You know it Z artistic integrity. Biden, whose tone was both jocular in serious, according to the person seemed to know that seemed to know. Then what is becoming plainly obvious now His family's business ties threatened to undermine an administration who's messaging is centered on restoring integrity to the White House. A law firm ad promoting Frank Bynes relationship with the president caused a stir when it ran on inauguration Day. He didn't even wait till the day after he was like wearing running. A federal investigation into mine, son Hunter. You guys know all about that. But this is where it gets kind of interesting. Okay, it says Florida super Attorney and Democratic donor, John Morgan said business sensitivities were coursing through the Biden world this week after the report about Frank binds law firm. What Frank told me is my brother loves me dearly. But if I lobbied, he would cut my legs from underneath me. Morgan said Frank by and told him this this week. In other words, he was not going to lobby for the firm. He was just gonna be a legal consultant or whatever again. He's not a lawyer, so I really don't know what he's doing for the fur. Frank made it clear to me what the president made clear to him the day he got elected. The long knives came out for all things. Biden. There's a target on all of them. I just want to say this guy John Morgan. No, there's not like you guys. You seriously and end to Frank by and you don't have to worry. You guys are good. Now you're in. It's all going to get brushed under the rug. I mean, political is running this story, but it's really just for fun. You know what I mean? It's just a Try there had a journalism again the wall knives or not out for you. That is clear. I don't wanna be Gary Grammar here. But politicos something cannot be jocular and serious at the same time. Yeah, I kind of thought that was. It's not a thing. It's a little contradictory. Um and the guy goes on this guy Morgan. I don't know what he was thinking talking this much, but I love it. He said one person interested in working with Frank Biden was Morgan himself Ah, fellow Floridian who was close to the younger Biden. This is what Morgan said. Great guy. I had my jet taken to the inauguration. Mm Oh, The Jets that these he will have the PJs. I really I kind of think I'm in the wrong business..

What does the UFC do with Conor McGregor?
"When it gives that answer so i think that's an intriguing points seen that question in that that that answer taking a little bit out of context to try to paint a picture where the ufc stands at this point but no to be honest with you most of what i've talked to people just incredibly disappointed in conor mcgregor you know i mean just there's no other way to put him in it's an indefensible act what he did is ridiculous and it's sad i mean here's a guy that that we defended and we loved and his is amazing story you know coming from being a plumber's apprentice to to to a hundred million dollar payday with with floyd mayweather in the course of five years and it's amazing and then to to resort to this it's just shy i mean it was just shocking difficult to process and even still not sure i understand it all just suck what's your gut feeling john do you think he fights in two thousand eighteen hole that's the tough part does he fight twenty eighteen and who 'cause he's not going to jail no question about guy doesn't have a history of criminal acts he's not going to jail on top of that got a lot of money some fine attorneys it'll be working with them to help him get him to do i think he'll get some type of probation i mean i think he'll face some legal repercussion i think for beijing is part of it you know i think he's definitely got some lawsuits coming on the horizon that he's gonna have to deal with so i do think he's going to have some problems i do believe that one hundred percent he will fight in the ufc again.
