I yeah to help people get throw it and i may be liebau example and as about your business because as you say it's tough out then it is it really is. It really is tough. It really is tough and the younger generation. They i think the younger generation they need a solid bente not just mentor. That skinner's skim over the icing and make it all look blue. Gummy glamorous everything. But who's really gonna sit down and draw out what's in them and let them understand the reality of life because when you are in business it is only worked it as yes. You're right you can feel so isolated so love may You can stop comparing yourself to other Why are they doing so well. I'm not. I can't succeed os. Somebody then says where i can. I can help you cut cheese. You know business until i can turn your business around thousands of house whatever One of those promises that we are drone chip because we failed. I've got the magic. And that's what we want. Yeah that's why one of the reasons why i started emerging into greatness because at the end of the day we all have emerged from something to where we are now to the success. You know there is a middle belt. There is a middle part that a lot of people don't talk. Don't talk about especially on social media. Which really just gets my. You know in a twist lady or gentleman. It does not work that way. You need out the truth and i thought okay when i interview people. I want to talk about a challenges. What they faced. What what. What have they passed through to win. You know because that's what the next person wants to hear because for some reason at least eighty five ninety percent of the time. Whoever's listening is passing through that yeah. I just write social media. I have i agree with you. People only put up there that successes. You know that. Look my wonderful life. Look at my amazing husband. He's built me all these gift. Because we've have this fabulous holiday told about that you know the stuff behind it. Which is the middle. What did you have to climb through. You know what other challenges for me in my business. I've gone They're both new. Anyway i have to be real. They are both needed. We know businesses. The it does take time and i. It got to a point where i had to understand. That lady is start. A microwave saying you're going to have to wait you're gonna learn. This is not the microwaving in your kitchen where you put it in two seconds dot now more overnight success. It's not ex- right. It's not extract but usually with x factor. You still have to come back and compete you know just because you've got through the first adult doesn't mean hates. Okay have to come back and you know go through the goes through the whole the whole shebang to keep stuff float so i you go through the mistakes. You've got to go for that old old. Go down the wrong. Track set takeoff. Kohls you're going to use the money somewhere where you give me to somebody because they promised to the and you went into that trap and you realize actually that wasn't the fat staff and you loud amount amount Yeah facing the reality of it any i. I want harder now in some ways than i ever did when i was employed allies more f. but i wouldn't change anything because for sadhana i'm being told what to do and i never did. I was always a rebel. I was at work. Hey wendy yeah so Rose regulations you know. They don't work for me particularly well. Either so i can make my own rules in my own regulations and Do it my way. So i liked that freedom and i can within reason. I can take a day off whenever i want. I can do it very well. When i won't on could choose to work the hours i wouldn't change dot but now it's hard work. It is a lot of hard work. And it's a lot of determination your dominant. Yes a whole lot of determination and what really helps is if you have a settled home if you don't have settled home. Oh my goodness. I don't even to think i don't want i don't want the sort of what it's like because you know without a settled home hubby. Who's supportive family. Who supported children. Who are trying one way or the other to help if that's not there. It's much much three times harder. Yeah yeah you sought me need your family. Your friends and Supportive people around you. Yeah definitely definitely. It makes a lot easier. She say so but he listening out there right now and Is wondering okay. They've heard everything that they've heard. And you know they've actually heard the reality that hey not everything is rosy sometimes does get difficult sometimes does get me you know at the top of getting to the top What would you. What's what's the advice you would have for them. Right now I think if if you're you've got to decide if you're gonna do it you got to do it. I think that success. You've got to decide that you're gonna put your whole thought and beliefs and failings and energy into it. I think one of the good programs. You watch is dragons. Dan i think so really good stuff comes outside because they really questioned some of those. Don't moniz about whether they've got a good idea whether it's viable how passionate they are about it and so on so i stopped must be one of the. I would suggest a paper though. Because i think some really good stuff comes out. But i think hugh gonna decide whether you're going to be a s which means you're playing in the shadow and or whether you really want your determined to make a real successive what you're doing And i think that's if you're happiest and you're just playing at yet you just Dipping in and out. Yeah okay. it's back to that monkey brian. That says i can't do this. This is too scary. Now if you're gonna keep listening. John monkey brain Then you're gonna stay hobbyist whereas if you're gonna say actually i. Hey you. But i'm still going to do it anyway. However scary is that's when you really start making traction in my mind and mind the i. It is scary if i have to admit it is a fight. You're not gonna die. You're not gonna die fast article. I wrote thought. Oh gosh i put myself out there. I video i made or that will kiro on the interview. I guy or whatever it was that i did the.

"They're still trying to costs everybody else. They were able to write in a few characters. Obviously Poison Ivy's one which will get to a little later on but then we also got Mr freeze now. The reason why Mr Freeze happened is because and I quote Joe Schumacher. Actually was watch is a big fan of the animated series and saw the episode a heart of ice seat for. I'm not is the one. Which is the BACKSTORY FOR MR freeze? So he said. I want that so they did that now. There were multiple roles actually multiple people who was actually going to be up for Mr Phrase. Join me to give you a list of who the hell he got from eight to be looking at that beautiful episode about the Little Geeky scientists. Try to get aid to almost all things now okay. So here's the thing right. So they were before right at Harris to possibly be Mr freeze into the APP me good. That would be good but dropped up computer commitments right. This one's GonNa be a shock and you'll love this Patrick Stewart's Oh I mean I can't see but I love him. They would have been amazing. Pass me once. It was just the most amazing experience. I was taking for a theater at the time and I didn't even know he was out past me. And when excuse me make voice and I was doing this fish impression with my gunman cabinets out and it was on. I was just. I just couldn't speak for an hour afterwards. I didn't take a four door. I couldn't move. Yeah if you'll just expecting practice and Selena room shocking experience I mean. Let's be one of the best moments in my life would would be like more light. Mystery should be like scientists because he's bowled. No I'm saying that because of holly how he performs roles Ed Harris. I would've loved any either of those two would have been more accurate but the thing is on all these just comedy gold. So here's the thing that this is. What how it got to Arnold right so patrick skew. It and Harris were considered but they all dropped out to several commitment issues. So but then the script was rewritten to accommodate all Schwarzenegger. Who genuinely interested the reason why. Joe Shoe Market decided. Mr Free must've been big and strong like like he was chiseled out of a glacier and quote so and the reason why is because obviously because the famous. Mr Free suit because they couldn't put a skinny man giant suit so said get a big man in a slightly tighter suit in the cartoon he was always a skinny man. The suit made in powerful. He wasn't robocop. And now he robocop ROBOCOP SPANDEX so hope robocop in spandex machine gun. Kinda sexy Lee described as all. Wait a minute. They love always lead. The fans were disappointed to a point but surprisingly successful because of its location. I was part of that now. You got you on welcome Mrs Schumacher. Toil Crab mcadoo toys. Some of them still in the house. Awesome here my parents so that my little nephew can play with them. I've got some of the Poison Ivy Vines. So he goes. There were so many different kinds of Batman Batman Batman was one that was like bright orange. I think sloat affect on the Metal Batman's well Gold Batman why to open so you can get blue and silver which I had or you could get like a red and black. Cuomo really epic so weird. This is the thing like Batman as a character as a whole is. He's almost gone to the point where he's almost like Sherlock Holmes you can put them in anything and it makes kind of semi sentence. Yes semi cents would often. Don't don't go bananas but you know what I'm talking about this as an Atta male net flicks recently. I think there's one on Netflix. Animated Part like CGI at is about where Batman goes to Japan. Ninja. Yes Oh my would on paper seem like the best film made never ever made. I was so angry giant Monkey John Monkey versus giant Batman. No the monkeys made giant Batman for the magic flute as we were bats powering because they all have the moving castle. The castle annoyed me. These a big massive distraction guerrilla ground needs to stay in. Dc Past Monkey. Please on average on tomatoes is Abou. It's got around about ten percents tomatoes with an average grade of about three point. Six out of ten kids because kids were voting. I think critic Chris yes you can tell. It's aimed at kids. It's going ten two dozen it seeing seeing seeing seeing there's no slow plot moments from the very moment the film starts. Well that's good Jolan. Yeah for the very moment of filmstar major action and mister freeze straight away. It's exciting explosions in Colorado. Kids love it but the problem was because it was critically panned. The studio decided to actually put panel. I'd not do the next movie after that. The low things actually cancelled because of it so there were planned sequels for US joining nail scenario. Okay could have seen. I let me give you some of these because oh my sweet Jesus okay. So there was Joel. Schumacher had several meetings with mortar. Brothers to talk about trying to convince them make another Batman movie afterwards. Okay they will free of them already in the pipeline as an idea one is they wanted to the show actually. WanNa to take it to his DACA roots by making money at one. Oh Right Greco Make Joshi Michael treatment. In my opinion but thing was he was going to cost. Cut Russell as a young commissioner Gordon and Selena car being played by an African American woman living in the ghetto. Me Defense. Time ethica advocate. I mean that would have been have been okay. Yeah now this is the thing Warner Bros. decided not to Rehire Schumacher. Because of what would Batman and Robin. Yeah which was a bit Because they say what happened to it. And the reason why because the pressure studio say we make a more child-friendly of course it went to the direction of the nineteen sixties Campy Batman? Yeah we loved we all love. Its own bubble in northern wedding. Note went in a weird way supposedly the continuity to the first Tim Burton's Batman. Yes you see on current from entity would've loved it okay. Another one was interesting was going to be a direct sequel which was going to call Batman unchained. And it's going to be a direct sequel. Starring unchained is going to be a direct sequel. Stuck having all the costs back. And you're GONNA have you want to know the village? We're going to be okay. Please scarecrow on Holly Quin. That would have been nice version. Quitted if it's anything like it was poison ivy. I think we would have had plenty of popcorn for interesting Ashim. Her Hammer would have made appearance. That would have been huge for me. Yeah when I was in school and after Batman and Robin happened. Everyone was waiting around for another Batman. Filled a guy friend at school. I think I think he's made up but he said it is another Batman movie and the title was cooped Batman Triumphant Sequel. To what is called. The next one was going to be a spin off movie right. "Welcome to wind season onto. We accidentally took the summer off. oops but the good news is we have episodes waiting to be released and we are ready to go. There's lots of exciting topics coming this season. And as always you can send us an email or hit us up on social media with any topic ideas you're interested in. We always love to hear from you so without further ado. Here's here's season to thank you for joining us. I'm Rhonda and I'm Heather and if you're new to this podcast we're basically a couple of nerdy friends. Who like to talk about why it it is the people do what they do feel what they feel like what they like and all of those things that make human beings such wonderful hot messes and we drink a bottle of wine and talk about that because because wine is awesome? Wine is awesome So speaking of monkey do. I heard that we were talking about monkeys today and I happen to have this wine. That has monkeys on the label. So that is what we're drinking drinking tonight. I've been calling it monkey wine all day and I think that's misleading. 'cause I don't think a there any monkeys in the wine and be I don't think monkeys he's are involved in this winemaking process at all. This isn't like the coffee from the Amazon or whatever where they filtered that. I don't know if it's monkeys. There's some sort of Marsupial type thing that eats these beans and then poops them out and then they make the coffee from now. I don't think this wine has any monkey. poop enjoyed I'll tell you more about why it has monkeys on the label. I guess but I really like saying monkey wine. It's really fun to keep wine and so the wine that I have today is I'm GonNa pour it. I haven't even portia yet. Hold on. Let's get this action get. His party. Started keep going here so the wine that I found with the monkeys on it. It is an Italian wine it is produced by the Familia Castellini. We are cast a Yanni. It is a task theon Tasca Yanni but merely a task Yanni. Yeah it helps. If you do that with your hand. I know you can't fancy maybe you know what I'm doing. Everyone knows everyone knows what I'm doing. it's Tuscan its side of the Tuscany region. It is John g-o-v AC which happens to be one of my favorite grapes. And it's two thousand fourteen so I'm GonNa tell you a little bit about the cast Diani any family dion. Mi Familia Casteel Johnny. They own six vineyard estates in throughout. Tuscany they have have been producing wine and in Tuscany for more than six generations since nineteen. Oh three Oh wow this particular wine and as I said so what the winemaker says about it is that they made it with great selected from the family's coastal vineyards switch are characterized by sandy clayey and Calfo calcareous Calgary's Calcio Chris Count counts of forest cal. Cal Cal Curious Carias. There's Laureus soil so to produce this premium Tuscan wine. They follow the old traditional inefficacious method. A portion of it is refined and would for six months and then the other part is aged in the six tenths in steel tanks for year and then the two different coup a are are blended together so it's partially still aged partially aged so I mean I don't have a ton of information about the family other than they've been producing wine in Tuscany for over one hundred years which which I think is pretty cool and if you know if you know anything about wine at all probably heard about Tuscany being a pretty big wine area. I've I've heard of it. It's known for some of the best vineyards and best wine so the reason that there are monkeys on the label so they did a series. Call The coast Sano collection. So there's this artist called Andrea Kalisz Sano and He does black the ink. Drawings of zoom more Fiqh drawing so he loves painting the sort of mythological zoo more fiqh kind of I guess he's not painting. He's drawing them with black ink but he creates the paper himself and then does the black ink on it so it gives it this sort of taste of like ancient looking things so they have a whole series of different wines that they feature this artists animal drawings on and this one happens to have monkeys and it looks like maybe these monkeys have like a bottle of something in their hand. Can't really tell but lick some sort of tincture. Yes exactly exactly some sort of tincture. So that's why it has monkeys on it so I want to tell you a little bit about Sanjay see the grape and then tuscany the region region so sanjay grape. I I tend to love San Giovanni say wines a lot a lot of grapes in a lot of wines that come from Italy are named for the region and not the grape. So like if you're used to seeing like Merlot Chardonnay that's named for the grape but a lot of like Chianti we for example that's not a type of grape that's a region right however Santa is a great and it happens to be the primary grape in Chianti. This particular taking one isn't a Chianti region right so sanjay say grape apparently is kind of like Merlot that we talked about before before and that it's a bit of a chameleon it apparently easily alters its genetics to fit the environment and so it's grown all over Italy and there's a lot of different mutations kind of based on the environment which can result in San Giovanni tasting very different depending on where it's from but apparently outside of Italy Sanjay is is really pretty scarce. It's not growing that much. Outside of Italy really. Yeah apparently but because of its ability to be a chameleon it really has this this wide range of tastes so it can either be very earthy and rustic which like Chianti tends to be pretty earthy and rustic or it can be more sort of round and fruit forward but this Notes on it that I found says really regardless of where Sanjay is grown. It tends to always have cherry flavors and subtle notes of Tomato Medo and the Best Sanjay fantasies have a good balance between their fruit and their earthy components so It's it's you know good. Sandra is a is a really nice balanced wine. Common flavors like I said Cherry Also plums strawberries and figs tomato leather clay clay smoke tobacco. It's usually ocht like a lightly. OCHT fairly high end Tannin's city apparently so this particular one as I said is is grown in Tuscany. And Tuscany. A really it's in central Italy. It's a very hilly area and Saint Jove AC the grape tinge to do really well when it can receive direct sunlight. So that's makes it grow. Makes it the Sandra out of Tuscany. Really great because they're on these hillsides get these great sunlight also the a lot of the vineyards in Tuscany are at an altitude of five hundred to sixteen hundred feet and that higher elevation an has an increase in the temperature variation between night and day. Because when it's higher altitude it's GonNa get Cooler at night and that variation in temperature helps. The grapes. Maintain contain their balance of sugars and city as well as their aromatic qualities. yeah so yes so we'll see if this one has a good balance of crude in earth components it is it's on the darker end of the spectrum. It's it's not as dark probably as a Like Shera Suraya silly darker than amber low for sure. Sure so I'd say it's on the darker end of the spectrum. It smells really delicious. Smell anything your mouth and your math math. I definitely can taste the tomatoes starts real any. I am not kidding. Pay Not getting it has that you know how when you eat it or even more so you know how when you smell like a fresh tomato on the vine it has that kind of tomato but it tastes like Oh interesting that after taste sort of of is that it tastes like summer like you know growing in the fields like tomatoes on the vine. Yeah but I probably TASTES CHERRY TO I. Can I can go with that definitely cherry. It is a little panic for sure but it's it's got a little little bit of fruity nece. It's pretty smooth. ooh And let's tasty. I like all right. I'm a fan this good monkey wine. Good John Monkeys. It's the monkey poop. It just so that the winemakers no there's definitely no monkey wine and we understand that it's very good. All right is that a is that for the wine. I keep drinking it all right. Well while you're drinking. I want you to ponder a question. Don't ponder for too long though I want your answer. Okay so if your friends jumped off a bridge would you do. I follow up questions. No okay without any follow up questions I it is something on fire. How how is this bridge? What is the bridge right? What time of year is it's a bridge over troubled water? Well no then me neither because I would probably be more afraid of the fall than I would have whatever it is. That's pressuring me to jump off that bridge. Yeah so but your parents totally asked you that question. Some Fringe Timber Ridge. Would you. Yeah exactly I I would. Yeah maybe maybe away from you made me cool. I was desperate to be cool man however in high school if I was with a group of friends and everybody nobody was like jumping off a bridge into the water or something and they were like. Oh It's fun. I probably would've been terrified but maybe still tried to do it right. I think I would have been like. Do you know the chances that you can link your that bridge. There's under there the Gel far enough so you don't hit the high far too practical to jump uh-huh in fact. We had this bridge that used to connect the two small towns though one that I lived in in the one that I went to school in Rye and they blocked it off and it ended up just being a footbridge footbridge. 'cause it was a wooden bottom bridge. It was like a wooden bridge while it was still a steel bridge but the bottom part of it was so we'd walk across it all the time and like the town kids would play on the bridge and there were people like standing ending up on the side of the bridge and then jumping off into the river and I was just like. There's no way no all right so we would not jump off a bridge. Probably most likely I probably most likely not now. So we're going to talk about what happens when you get in a crowd of people like what's going on in your brain. Yeah and so. We're going to talk a little bit about the Monkey. Monkey do concept and we're going to talk about another monkey thing later called the monkey sphere. Monkey Yes so we're GonNa talk about a monkey's multiple times but before that we're GonNa talk about some other stuff so I found this quote that says the true test of a man's character is what oh he does when no one is watching So I feel like I disagree with the statement based on my research. Yeah talk about now. The herd mentality and bystander apathy. I'm curious to SORTA like break this quote down and then see how are how we think about it after you talk about other stuff stuff because the idea attract has demands characters. What he does when no one's watching the idea that if nobody's watching you do it good? Do you still do the right thing. Even if nobody's watching like if nobody's watching would you still that candy bar or if nobody's watching. Would you pick up that piece of trash. But we're going to talk about is when everyone's watching are you. You less likely to do anything in eight right. I gotTa tell you when no one's watching like I walk around in sweat pants and a pick my nose and I you know scratch what no don't brush my hair and I don't have a Bron on. Yep So it's not. That's the true test of my cash flow of Inle suggestive. My character is what I do when no one's watching well I am a sloth off right so there's two different concepts that I want to talk about begin this episode and that is the herd mentality. Bystander Apathy Patty so I'm going to explain what each of these things are I So herd mentality you might also know it as like mob mentality some like gang mentality. But it's essentially what what people do with the way that they act with people around them so right when you're in a group. Yeah the concept is that we. You adopt the behaviors of the people around us so if were in a group of friends that are jumping off a bridge we we might ignore our own feelings about jumping off the bridge and just adopt that behavior because that's what everyone else is doing want to fit in right and we may make different decisions if we were by ourselves than we would. If we're with those people that are doing those things So there's been a lot of studies about this but I thought this was a really interesting study was done by professor. Jen's Krause and Dr John Dyer of Leeds University so they had groups of subjects..

You know what I mean is child and we'll talk about that today. How Toronto Your Life for sure today. We're talking about letting go of the past which is going to include trauma or just general life events or bad mistakes. We made so on and so forth but it's a very relevant issue. A lot of people have a hard time letting go of the past so we're going to really delve into that and then at the end I'm going to give you some exact strategies. He's on how to do that. We'll do some broad brush stuff and then can dig it around in their in them will do the final techniques that are super for a lot of people but I what do I need to do. Julie you. You need to do your disclaimer. Thank you for reminding me. The information in the PODCAST is for educational purposes only is not meant to replace tr- treatment or diagnosis by a qualified mental health professional there we go okay which is me but off duty so okay so a good way to look any. Hootie I also before we get into all that I wanted to make mention. I saw the best quote and I'm having my niece. put this together for me on a plaque raided meted out so I can have it in my office all the time. I normally don't like want stuff like this around. Usually it's like yeah. That's really nice. It'd be nice to others others. We may steal that kind of thing but this I really liked so you kinda think I showed you this last night and so think about this a little bit. If you quit now you'll end up right back where you began and when when you first began you're desperate to be right where you are now. Keep going. Do we all get that a good one meaning. You didn't realize how far you you've gone and you forget how bad it was right so like if I'm having a bad day you would say to me Julie for God's sake woman yeah yeah. Do you know where you were not good. It wasn't a good look where you're you're. You're vertical. Yes you know your upper haight right. I'm upright and good. I really liked that that stood out for me actually hosted that on instagram because I thought was really relevant into deep pond yeah was and it. It's relevant everything that we're talking about. I think it's a good thing so Joel's. How do we purge the past? You and I have some overlying relying information both of us talking about so we'll just kind of you know muddle through. Laurel K stack notes here holy Moly Gosh because it's a big the problem though it seems like an obvious statement. I mean the past affects if you don't if you don't process it exactly it affects everything everything in your present absolute okay so actually you know me and my little parables. Yes I do have one uh-huh and it's called the monkey trap and I don't know if this thing actually exists or not. It's strictly just a story but okay so you know monkeys he's can be little pests in some areas you know and they people do trapping them either. Relocate them. Whatever let's think positive here yes so there's a trap that's hollowed out either from a coconut or a container that has a hole in it so it's just large enough for the Monkey Okita slide. It's handed get upset me or not. Okay good okay for good I like. I said they're just relocating so you stop st no no. We're good okay. No it's not like this. You know John Monkey torture right okay so let's let's just roll here. Okay so a tree is put into this. You Know Oh containers oh banana. Whatever so with the monkey does is it slides. It's hand into the container and the whole is not big enough for it it to get its handout. When it's making a fist or holding the treat okay okay so these people you know come toward toward the monkey to capture it and the monkey will not run away. Okay monkey will still grasp the treat of what is keeping the Monkey. There is his own action. He he is not actually trapped very because you could actually if you let go of the tree yeah you know he could slide his hand backout sure so just saying that a lot out of times. We don't realize but our own actions are key keeping a stock. I like that I think that's good and he's a greedy or a very hungry. Little monkey actually do understand that yeah we fight against it. We get in our own way. Yeah that's true because because we don't want to let go of the past. Why don't we want to go with the past because it's fear based usually leading the past is a fear or something fearful that happened to us that we don't. WanNa WanNa let go off. Even though you would think that would be something that we would want to do mmediately but it's part of who we are and usually not always but a lot of what is ingrained in our pass. S. comes from our childhood have sound Freudian but I have to because it's very it's very relevant to what we're speaking about right now so one of the things that both you and I read and we're talking talking about and I've experienced with my own patients which I always interject into our conversations. You need to make a clear decision to let it go correct. No MHM intention is really the beginning to any thing you pursue absolutely so it is the starting point yeah so when we say we're going going to let it go. You need to know that letting go of it. Will enhance your life or how will it enhance your life so a lot of people are saying. I'm GonNa make a decision to let it go okay. I'll make a what does that exactly mean remember. We were talking about this in the car. What does that mean well. Go okay. I'll just let go just drop like seventy telling me to quit being anxious right right well the way I look at it that you're willing to process Elsa and look at it and work through it through it. No matter how painful it is and then hope with the hopes that some at at some point there's a tipping point in that you do feel like it's been processed enough. There's been enough healing to release it so I think I think they're all the reading I've done. The key is you're not forcing it and hopefully that you'll you'll be aware enough to know when there's at point. Where were you or you'll just feel it. You'll feel lighter. you know but it it you have to be really really really honest and look at it in process absolutely all through the sure so we're going to let it go. We need to make a decision to let it go right decision and it needs to be it. It shouldn't be so flippant as just let it go. It's like okay. Yes absolutely. I'M GONNA make a conscious decision that I'm going to let this shit go because it is affecting my life in day in and day out and I can't tell you how many patients I see in a daily basis that tell me about you know a my mom. I forgave her. I'll things around with my mom my Dad Chaldean. I forgave him all that that's not what's going on right now. I'm like okay. Oh yeah okay all right. That's fine you know. They're jumped down my throat about that. I I don't start bringing that up. Don't be don't even bring it up. Don't even try and I'm like. I haven't even said anything. It just met you and career indicates indicator. That's touchy subject right there so then but it always comes up later. It always comes up later. If we make a conscious decision to let it go then and we're saying okay. I'm committed to the work that it's GonNa take right right and it's going to take work and it's GonNa take time another broad brush. One one is express your pain in detail. What does that look like to you. Well you bring it to light you know. Secrecy is something that just keeps the wound you know pouring salt into the wound and it sure does even though you think the opposite even though you think the secrecy is keeping it hidden hidden and and you know it's keeping tucked away. It's actually I think making worse because you're saying in therapy when patients you know talk about things in detail and open up about their secrets at like sheds light on it and it kind of takes its power think yeah but then I always look at it too two from another point lake okay. Let's talk about her secrets but let's get to the point where hopefully we don't keep reliving the story reliving the story. We live in like we're so ingrained in our in our habit of thinking that at some point maybe we need to say hey. You know I'm ruminating now. I WanNa talk about that a little bit more later so you know what I'm seeing. I always feel like there's like a fine balance between talk. Talk Talk Talk and then you a you know a churn point like Oh my God. I'm obsessing so sure I mean you probably have a feeling with your patients like. Do you get a feeling where you think okay. Maybe they need to start thinking of stop. Focusing sure absolutely so. When do you suggest it define them right isn't to find them. A one the moment out of your life or a bad childhood does not define the rest of the sixty years. You have to live for the next twenty years that you have to live. Don't let that specific event or those events Vance to find who you are for the rest of Your Life Right which is definitely a problem for a lot of people and it's not about sitting in that and reliving it's about like reliving living in for reals once you know understanding it and as I've said to you and I've said to. I've said all my patients that and I'm Pat People like threaten me say you know you're not gonNA say anything right here. I'm like wow okay. You don't have to say anything at all to me. You know you just tell me what you feel like telling me but we cannot put the healthy pink stuff in here until we purge the black black stuff that in here and look at one hundred one hundred fifty watt bulb and pick through it just the two of US yeah. What is what's all that unleash dumb in there because when you have that black stuff in there and you keep adding the pink are you trying. Ed Pink to it healthy the healthy things they just bounce off bounce off they last for a while when they go that reminds me of actually I've done meditations or breathing techniques sneaks where I picture breathing out you know black and you know what it reminds me of the movie Green Mile Yeah such a great where I uncloudy magazine this. I can imagine but we're John Coffee he takes people's pain and illnesses away and brings them into his own body and then then at the end he exhales the black just cloud in it dissipates because he can't hold onto his past..
