So he ends the first volume with the discussion of the faith of the Native Americans and the black slaves in America. And it's a tone of tragedy. He's sympathetic to the native Americans and to the slaves, and there's no indication at all that hopeful believes that there are any fundamental racial differences. Between blacks and whites. He thinks, though, that there's bound to be future inequalities, even if slavery was to be abolished because of the institution of slavery that makes them unique. If you're familiar at all. For example, with the writings of Calhoun Calhoun would just argue that any inequality you see is based and rooted in race, which cannot be erased. That does not take those view. Hopeful believes that human beings are human beings and the tragedy of slavery in the United States. Is that it's going to harm The descendants of slaves as well. When he treats the native Americans. He wants to make sure that he presents them in the most noble light he finds in them. Certain nobility and simplicities. Uh, well, the perspective of Toqueville is much more natural and original and old than that, because his idea is, you know, democracy in America, by the way, is Sociological and its cast and I have a theory about why we'll see what Kalil thinks about it. Uh, And and if you if you study the ancient city The law and religion and everything is all bound up together. And the rule. Is that what the law does not, uh, permit it forbids. And so when you analyze a society like that It's much more intensely and almost exclusively political Uh, now Oakville is describing influences and habits of mind and manners that stem from the fact that we're free and he glories in it, by the way in a way that you could see Aristotle glorying in it, because You described the founding of the college? The people who did that here, You know who did that are heroes here today. You know, First of all their their sons were brave. In the civil war, Someone died and second they helped devise the platform that Abraham Lincoln ran for president on But their thing they were proud of is that they started this college and they did it on their own initiative. In other words, they got to live rich important. Human lives, despite the fact that they were a bunch of nobody's right in the middle of nowhere and took Phil I mean, it's It's very that strain and toqueville is My opinion, my favorite part of it and its profound right because the actual protection against majority Derek tyranny is the attachment people have. To an extent though is done his fair share But you have to test for steroids because it does create an even playing field to some people are willing to risk their health and mortgage their long term future health on looking bigger now to get the. I have a promoter who might look at them more favorably. So the idea of testing wrestlers isn't because you know somebody has a better chance to win. The reason to test wrestlers is so that a guy who doesn't wanna take steroids but wants to be successful wrestler doesn't have to compete with somebody who is willing to risk his health to look bigger if all else is equal and and so that's why they have enough or they should test John how about savage hall of fame. Think of was fuming mad over punk taking over his show and it was brilliant the way that as soon as it got into you know the bowling campaign a story about this man you know and then he cut it off and then vince cutting off. Hit the button. It created the perception. That vince was sitting there. Backstage going cut him off them off and someone else going. no no. it'll make him a hero. Don't give them the fattest action and finally went pump dot to that moment like screw it. Cut him off. Turn it off and that was great.
