"Very recent thing. It's rare that we would have like photographic proof in terms of the timeline of all this. But we really do so. Who knows maybe she was going to get a covered up anyway. Maybe things are escalating with ace abinet. She feels weird to have the matching tattoos ex-boyfriends. I just wonder if this was the first time. Drake was finding out about cover ups slash if he will cover his. I would say absolutely the first time he found out about it. It has to be right. What you're gonna do. Send him a thing from the tattoo parlor from laser. No way a while she got a coverage you got something on top of it but yeah i would imagine that this. I don't believe that they're speaking so unless she did it in somebody else was like. Hey heads up. I saw the other day and she had a tattoo-covered which i don't believe would happen. I imagine that he found out what the rest of the world which is my of separate like. I'm not going to pretend like. I take enjoyment and him being upset with. Here's the thing it's not even about that. Like about being upset for him or sad from whatever that is. It's more so i i can't get over how funny i think it is. That drake is in his. You know fucking palace in canada and he opens his phone to the daily mail snapchat and he's finding out these accident that we are that she covered it up. That is hilarious when you think about it like here. He is in the fucking closet with birkin's that he already set up for his future wife and he's finding out. The shark. tattoo has covered. That is the visual talk about. Talk about a visual. That i want. I want to know who's drake's first phone call after he sees the photos of as happening on a walking through the city getting denied arcade and finding out about the tattoo. That is a question we need answered you. I have that answer. Who has it's his mom. It's gotta be right. I i cannot explain to you how deeply in the fact that he called his mom after that happened. And i have to tell you on top of all of this. I would be shocked shocked. If you covered up that tattoo. The most drake thing in the entire world would be keeping that tattoo. Yeah forever kind of is like a than having a line in the song about it. How like you know was that important imprinted in his life and he doesn't need to cover up that time not in a shady way necessarily but kind of in a way that comes across incredibly emotional while also potentially aiming to make her feel bad absolutely although she wouldn't feel that i have to say if there was ever a period of my life were i got matching tattoos an even if it ended in may be the worst way ever. I have not covering up the matching tattoo. I got with that body forever. i might honestly get. The shark. hugged dragan his bergen closet. That's what i want. I want you showing your parents. Your shark to you got installed. Are you gonna. I would have to. I don't have my own apartment. But for some reason i was like i'd have to move into the burqa closet also in other news. I know you haven't spoken of as and a few weeks. John leaney olivia munn. Were seen together having what appeared to be a lunch date in l. a. And as we know he slipped from his ex wife on may ten revealed pretty much immediately. After i guess simultaneously that he was apparently seeing olivia. Munn but these were the first photos of them together which is also something we manifested on. Podcast when those pictures popped up my initial Literally i completely forgot now. That's what you responded. When i sent it to julia. She's like holy shit. I forgot this is even happening. I guess because neither of those people like john lenient. Olivia on are not necessarily people in our daily orbit. Well yeah well to an extent. Like i think about john laney obviously a lot but i just i guess i wasn't thinking about them as a couple like i think about him as a singular entity usually so i forgot about them in their haven't been texas but i also would say i'm different where i think about john and probably more than the average person does no. I know what you mean. Obviously you like appreciate his comedy. I'm saying more so member loss with who are having the conversation jaylo about how like if you even remotely care about pop culture. You can't escape news about her. You very easily can escape. News about john lanier living in mind. If you're not looking for it so absolutely ria and then guys really coming in hot cardi announced last night during her performance with offset at the bt awards that she is pregnant with number two that immediately posted about it on instagram own. I love when this happened number last week. You said putting something into the universe i forget what it was and we all collectively me and the rest of the audience kind of cheers you on freezing that wording. This is what happens when you do it. You did it. You did it beautifully and here we are okay. So next thing i'm putting in the universe's drake giving me those birkin's what doesn't have my next week. Is that a really seamless transition into the current hashing. Recap allah.

"Hello folks. Let's jump into it. We have news podcast today. There's a lot of news that broke yesterday like it's been like weeks and weeks of a drought of news and like it. Seemed like everybody decided to like announced their new things and just for. I don't know why it was but there was just a ton of new news yesterday. Maybe feel alive kind of sad but Chris. Let's start with something that Brooke today. Actually and that is that. Westworld is getting renewed for four season and might be planned for six season run. What do we know yes? Here's something that doesn't make me feel alive instead. It makes me grown inside because west raw bad now but people are not bad. No it's really so people are still watching it though so H. B. O. Has ALREADY GONE AHEAD? And given it a four season and while it's not official yet Behind the scenes rumblings indicate that Lisa Joy and Jonathan Nolan. The the show runners are pretty much attached to make six seasons in total so not only is. Are we getting another season? We're getting two more seasons after that. Apparently which I'm sure we'll make someone happy but not me. Hey I'm happy. Crest does me. I'm wondering crisis. Okay let's talk. Let's talk briefly about West from I? Guess Spoilers for the end of season two. It's not really spoiling anything. Because they're marking the whole marketing for season. Three reveals this so season one took place in the park season to explore other worlds within this. Delo spark structure in season. Three outside of the park into the future world itself. It all seems like this season is going down to an end game of you know. There's this Big Evil Corporation who owns a simulation of everything in existence and Dolores and it almost felt like this season was going to end point. That could end the series so I guess my question ups. Where could this possibly be going because I feel like every season has been kind of like an onion peeling off another layer or peeling into you? I guess from the inside out the core out and and like an onion. It stinks and makes you cry. But what's the what's the other layers? What are the three other layers? We're going to get to because I I. You know I'm right there with you. I honestly don't know where the show going from here because this season has had nothing to do with the parks which is fine but this season like at the moment. It's all about like bringing down society. I guess as we know it so maybe like the next next three seasons are going to be sort of like planted the apes thing where it's like robots have taken over the human world. It's only thing I can think of because that seems to be where this season is going. Where Delores is bringing down all these you know human things and maybe the next season is going to be you know robots roam the earth. This is me just spitballing. I have no idea all I know is I wish the show would end. I'm GonNa Still Watch Chris. I I think that could be cool if we actually get the Ark of the robots taking over the world and then eventually the human uprising to regain it. No Yeah I said when I wrote this story up that even though I'm not happy with the season if if they pull off like a killer season finale then I will reluctantly watch the next season but for now. I'm I'm really not enjoying what's going on with the show. Okay speaking of nodding not enjoying things. An another hunger games movie. Hd What we all need in the world right now. Another Hunger Games movie Lionsgate has officially confirmed that. They're moving forward with an adaptation of the Hunger Games prequel novel the Ballad of songbirds and snakes and this hunger games. Prequel we'll tell the origin of the series villain president snow. Who's played in the film by Donald Sutherland? This is an adaptation of the upcoming book that Susan Collins has has written. It'll be published Some time in May may nineteenth. And it's been in the works for about a year now with talks and discussions Kind of going around. But now lionsgate has confirmed are officially moving forward with it and That Francis Lawrence is returning to direct the film after Helming the last Three hundred eighty movies corrected catching fire and mocking Jay. Part One and mock Jay part two. So he will be returning as well as a few of the of franchises old creative team including Nina. Jacobson who bruce. All the hunger games through these is anybody excited about this is like I feel like hunger. Games is one of those phenomenons that even the people involved didn't understand why it was so big. Yeah I I definitely am not excited. I don't think right. Now we the world. Is You know excited about an anti here. Movie about rich white man's rise to becoming a tyrant but Yeah I don't think that I mean other than Donald Sutherland. Who was fine in the movies? I don't know if there's a big appeal to this character Read all the Hunger Games Books? Thought you know they were okay. They had some good ideas. But sort of the juvenile writing style and then a really really bad ending kind of soured me on the entire series and the movies themselves were just kind of fine as well. I. They're a little too I came a little too late for me to get onto the on board the way hype train for it. So it was just It was a phenomenon that also escapes me. Kind of I watched the last movie. 'cause I hated the ending so much of the book but I can't say I'm excited about this prequel movie. I guarantee Kiefer Sutherland to play the young Donald Sutherland. That's my question would actually be fun. Rick how young is the character as a teenager because that wouldn't work but if he's like thank you actually? They should get a teenager because that would be amazing. Another thing that I think. We're not all excited about. Let's talk about Venom to Penn. Tell us about that. Yeah so there are two little pieces of news here about Venom. To one is that the release date has changed from October. Second Twenty twenty which is when it was originally supposed to come out is now coming out next summer. So June twenty fifth twenty twenty one is when thin them to will be unleashed upon the world and the more interesting piece of information is that it now has an official title which is Venom Colon. Let there be carnage. Which a Chris. Evangelista liked so much that he actually changed his username and our slack channel to Chris. Evangelist let there be carnage. It's a good tidal. I'm not GONNA do. We need this Chris. I'm getting notifications on my phone throughout the change it back your phone just updated. It was a one day thing. 'cause LIKE WHY DO. I have to be reminded of this title. All Day Long. Yeah I so we don't really know much about the movie I mean. Obviously leather carnage is referencing. The character of carnage which is played by Woody Harrelson. He brags briefly appeared in the first minimum. I'll be honest with you guys. I never watched the. I still have not seen that movie even though I know most of the people of this podcast happen and even like some of its moments. Remember Jacob specifically going to bat for like a couple of moments from that movie. I haven't seen it yet been solidarity right. Maybe I'll get around to it but I'd totally forgotten that Andy Circus is going to be directing the sequel. Which like I think. I wrote the new story about that when it happened. But that's how little I care about the these non. Nc You any marvel movies right now. That I just totally forgot. That was the thing that's happening but that is happening and Yeah so I guess Tom Hardy. Coming back to fight carnage this time and now they have an eighth an eight month delay to hopefully make the movie. Is You know as good as it can possibly be. Well that may be delayed. But Warner Brothers is not going to delay the release of Hbo Max's their new streaming service. They have announced the official one St Hd when are we going to get HBO? Max Yes we knew for months that. Hbo Massively Launching Some Time In may twenty twenty but now we have learned the official launch date is may twenty seventh. Twenty twenty Warner media has set this launch date and announced a slate of six Max originals of the not called. Hbo Maximum Max Originals That will be debuting on day. One which include a new Anna Kendrick series. Who apparently is kind of the GO-TO NEW PLATFORM STAR? She has a series on Abi and on Disney plus. She has a film on Disney. Plus now has a series on love life so you know peacock series when which is called Love Life Sundance documentary on the record. A underground ballroom dance. Competition legendary. A crafting show called crack topiary a new looney tunes cartoons and the sesame workshop's the not too late show with ELMO. So this'll be. Launching may twenty seventh now and That's coming up soon. I know we're all stuck at home or looking for more content. Is any of this exciting to you? It's not too late show with elmo actually looks kind of fun even though I'm not the target audience for it. It just seems like a real fun spin on the late night. Variety show format with John. Laney shows up so I just Kinda WanNa see John Laney's episode because he already seems like sesame street character come to life and so yeah. That one's looks fun. I like the idea that their new looney tunes cartoons. I'm no it's fine. It just kind of looks like it hits all the beats of like every millennial wrote the dating show like Romance Show But you know Emma. Kendrick has charming enough so I might check it out I am more excited about the sort of library of Warner Brothers content. That's coming with it. Like Warner Brothers as well as HBO and Various Affiliates DC entertainment etcetera so The doctor who series of new series coming on as well as friends and the Jubilee Collection. So it just it's more exciting for me for the library content than the new stuff but maybe once we learn. More about these new originals. I'll get I'll get I'll be lucky. My interest yeah. It should be noted that we do have the trailers for all those. Hbo Max Originals. And we'll put a link to that in the show notes. WanNa go check them out right now. let's talk about Warner Brothers. Wonder Media They I guess with the current buyers. They're now starting to rethink the theatrical model. Then what does that mean? I don't really know Peter so The Chief Operating Officer of at and T. Which owns Warner media and others said on an earnings call this morning that the company is quote rethinking are theatrical model and looking for ways to accelerate efforts that are consistent with the rapid changes in consumer behavior That's a pretty charged quote because without the proper context. You could take that to me in that. They might be thinking of abandoning the abandoning the Dakhil model entirely. I don't know if they're willing to go that far. In fact I would almost bet a large amount of money that they're not willing to go quite that far but you know we're living in different times now. So Warner Brothers has already implemented changes that just a couple months ago. A few months ago would have been totally unthinkable for this industry. Like birds of prey was made available on digital platforms way sooner than it would have been otherwise just yesterday that scuba with an animated feature that were designed for a theatrical release is scamming theaters entirely going straight to digital so. I think that's probably what he's talking about is just rethinking the options for every movie that they have and really like giving each film a close look and deciding which ones are worth saving for theaters. And which ones aren't We'd reported a while back that that there was a story going around. That Warner Brothers had actually considered releasing wonder woman nineteen eighty-four digitally instead of putting in theaters. Evidently that did not happen they. They bumped the release date. That's scheduled for August but the fact that they were considering it. I think sort of speaks to what this quote is talking about. They're rethinking theatrical model. What does that mean? Which movies exactly are they? Are they going to be dropping on digital which ones is going to be holding for theaters? There are a lot of questions here. But that's sort of where we stand right now. Yeah they're they're gonNA really Tenet straight to your small. Tv just the way. Christopher Nolan Watts but not going to happen at the most thing here is that quote was not to not come with any kind of like reassurances to the exhibition like community to NATO. And all those. You know these movie theaters like usually when you have a cold lake this. Don't worry you know this is just like a one time thing or just a very broad quote. That is intriguing. Possibly scary and made show us what what the future holds for us but You know talking about the future holding for us. There is this documentary called spaceship Earth in the neutral has just come out this from neon. And they're distributing this an innovative way. Yes this is really interesting. I don't think I've seen enough coverage of this online because Peter. Have you ever watched a full movie on a restaurant's website because that is every never week then everybody? What's going to happen here? So especially for. Is this documentary about these people. Who in the early nineties spent two years? Quarantine inside of this replica. Earth's ecosystem. So you can watch the trailer on on our website and everything and the movie itself looks interesting and finding a little bit like wild wild country but more contained cult stuff going on there by the way when you say replica. The Earth's ecosystem. Where like talking about like bio dome from like because I feel like that's the the most cultural reference of what this is right. Yes Yeah Anytime. Paulie shore is cultural. We're we're as a society but the release strategy is the really interesting thing about this. So they're going to be putting this. Neon is the distributor the distributors of movie parasite and Portability on fire..

"But I I do wanna shout out the soundtrack like the actual soundtrack to hear to this movie, which I loved and have been listening to and his like, my new workout sits, it's a really very unusual for a superhero movie accepting maybe Black Panther. But even that that was a little more. I think curated by Lamar in his silent preferences in the range of sort of hip hop. Sounds that across this soundtrack a really loved in really liked in like how they're used in the movie it was unusual to is that is that black. She. Block sheep been a movie in twenty eight teen. That's awesome. We should move on by do you want to go? I can't decide who my favorites. Alternate spider is. I mean, I guess we kind of have to count Gwynne as the court one of the core three characters and she's tuba, but like nor and spider ham, penny Parker. They're also fun. It feels like very basic to say like I like spider ham, but everything that comes out of John Molina's mouth. It's now think you like I o tasha are you about to disagree with? I don't disagree that he's hilarious and fun. But when you mentioned his snout, like the fact that his nostrils are little spider is is constantly making little spider expressions and his nostrils get angry when he's angry and they get wide when he scared it freaked me. It was a perpetual. Uncanny. Does the uncanny valley exist for cartoon spider pig noses? That is a fair. Critique I my affection is primarily based in John Laney's voice performance the whole big mouth cast. This. Like, if you've seen, you know, Nick Kroll as in captain, her pants is. I mean, it's the next level voice actor and do every at multiple he does many ways on big mouth and milley's complete delight here. I don't have a favorite. I can't. I it's very hard. For me to resist nNcholas cage is. But everyone's really wonderful. I've actually I've got a really tragic choice. I I was just so taken with a regional world. Peter Parker who who dies and suspend Chris pine Peter Parker slash Spider-Man. Liz, there's something. So nobly tragic about the way he goes out. And you know, it's the something that you don't ever get to see is like a superhero giving his all and losing. And then not coming back. You know, not being resurrected in some form. And it's it's terrifying. What happens to him is is viscerally horrifying. And I'm pretty impressed that the movie went there. But that scene where he's you know, he he has to kind of chase miles off because he can see what's going to happen. And he has to both assign him a terrible duty and protect him by getting him out of there. You know, so his final moments that that version of spider man can faces enemy loan. It's one of the more poignant things, I think I've seen. In a superhero movie period without even getting into it being like an animated cross time adventure thing you just like him because he doesn't have a weird snout. I do like that. He doesn't have a words now that would've made that way less poignant. Well, probably keep talking about snouts. One form or another. But we'll wrap up this purely into the spider versus cussin' as move into connections after break. Chapter with it out again with and release it. And really, you're not really..

"Police brutality? Are you crazy? But it's sold. So many records has so many streams on Spotify. Why hasn't it changed the world? And I think there's this weird like responsibility people put around a cult of personality where they're like. Well, this person they have so many followers on Instagram or Twitter. They should be able to they should be able to solve Mahinda. And it's like, I don't get it. And there's whole articles like as that's what I understand like you. Maybe you understand that side of new so much. Why are these huge think pieces on the power of or the powerlessness of of? That's interesting. I don't know why I take your point on that. Like why why are there like wiser some this commentary? I think two things one is that I think people are very hungry for there to be some institution that can solve this. I think part of what you're getting. There is a feeling that shouldn't someone be in charge like shouldn't someone right? Like if it's not going to be the president like the media like the comedians like shouldn't someone be able to take situation. I love John Laney's thing that it's like a horse loose in a hospital like that's the political situation. Like someone be able to get the horse out of the hospital. And so I'm not sure if they I think that that is like the psychological context in which stuff is being written. Yeah. There's this constant feeling of like somebody should be. There should be some adult. We can call and it's not any one comedian. But then the other thing I would say is that I think we are powerful. But we're powerful in strange ways. Right. I think that this world of comedy and in a separate media. I think it is very powerful, and constructing culture among the people it does affect so, you know, I don't think that the daily show was like huge among the, you know, what ended up being Trump space. But I think that Stewart's kind of ironic satiric, you know, that kind of the rallies or basically like for sanity, I think that they had something to do with Obama. You know, like, I think that kind of like that the Democratic Party went towards a cool. Very smart, very, intellectual. It's not all the recent. Right. But I do think too often what people want from the media or what people want from comedians entertainers or anybody with the following is to affect the people that don't follow them, which doesn't work. But I think that they do have a lot of responsibility for how they inform or affect or speak with the people who do follow them. And so like, and that is a kind of power I like that take its power in strange or. Answer Larry ways, you may. Or may not see that's cool that works for me. But I think there's a lot of like someone is looking for a parent here to just tell them everything will be okay. Or to be like, I love it. You know? And I'm like, I just I just can't believe that like there are in tire think pieces devoted to this in huge reputable news outlets being like, why isn't this working, and that makes me really befuddled, and I think that also really really really really messes with the way. Again to go back to what we talked about at the beginning of the conversation. Like the way comedians are being criticized it's like can the level of critique match the level of power someone has here. Yeah. And I take I tell me if I'm wrong, something, you're I think getting it. Here's a there seems to be an outsized focused on comedians right now on the culture that something is being asked of comedians and something being read into comedy that I don't like was true in like, quote, unquote, though, conversation ten or twenty years ago, totally. And I think there's this acceptance like I've always seen a close kinship with musicians. And I think musicians have always liked comedy, right? There is a musicality to it. And I really do feel that way and storytelling intonation act outs tone. Like, you can make a joke, by the way, you raise your eyebrow. It's just there's jazz like intangible element to it..

"Speight's wish funny because I imagine him like closing his eyes like holding his fingers real tight after. Here's where she Jays. Like, hello. Oh, right. That was caller seventy two. Anaheim we're out of time. Going back to a song. Another thing that you can hear the most in this particular part is the screaming in the background crazy. The other The other one. one. Off so abruptly like in the real song played in the beginning. You can hear it making its way all the way through before the becomes. But in this on every time they do. It's like why? Cut. It's like, yeah. Drag it a little bit more man come on. Oh, weird at the end of this the we're back that I wish like frame frame the same. It's literally when they turn on the dream machine. That's what they hear all the kids wishing for dinosaurs. And the one goes I wish I had a friend and then one like Hello. I wish they did that. Okay. Well, I. I see what you were saying the top of this episode, right? I didn't want to listen to too many times of coming in. So I had like a fresh opinion on it. But like in my head, it's better. Yeah. I think the real problem is that everyone gets to the bridge. And you're like, oh, this song is ending. And then you pick a different song on your ipod. Spot of whatever you're listening to. Watching him tumbled down it would've stayed closer to the short person canon and just been like and here are the ways in which this is frustrating. What if you just talked about how frustrating it is to be short? And then had just gone on to say the entire song was just like, and I can't do this thing. I can't ride on the rides or something. But then finding was five eight I'd be like, well, this is a betrayal. Yeah. "I mean, like it's crazy to think how much how much we are who we were in college. Yeah, and how we've always had to people voting. I go to the performance these. Yeah. Stanton vote college shows where I try to encourage kids to register to vote and I and I say, look, I'm forty year about twenty. You're going to blink in before you're voting for now, is what you're going to be living in future, like I'm your future. Yeah, and that's how I feel like college. I remember really well. Yeah. Well, I remember even you say the thing about walking back from five. Six? Yeah, here's five, six who is who's the director who cast me in the Georgia Dome players? Improv troupe. This, the bring people to speed. Vas a cast me and actually I should give credit. Fair credit assistant director, James Murray? Yes, some impractical, yes. So weird that we were all there at a similar time and then they cast me and then I cast you. And then you cast John Mullane. Yes, John Laney Cass, no one, John. And if. John John Lennon casts a shadow on. He gets a long shadow on the, yeah, when I came to Georgetown a year after I graduated to do a workshop with you guys. Oh, and actually in getting us was Owen Owen Burke? Yes, he was there a few years before us? Yes, in a separate in a separate version of the improv group. But when I came back and this will stick with me for the rest of my life, same thing as as stand up, vote staff, it's like, I remember you saying to me like, there's this guy, John Mullany it's he's the funniest person I've ever met my line. And you didn't. You weren't a hyperbolic communicator, you're you just weren't someone who would say that was very suspicious of that. Yeah. Yeah. I was like, what do you mean? The funniest person you've ever met? Like what in the u. and you literally said he's funny than Baltimore's? Yeah. And I stand by, of course, he is the only guy I know, and but. You had a real premonition about him? Yeah. What was it about him that made you just be knocked on your at? I don't know. I think it was like, well, because I think like, I think you and I knew we, we always liked each other, but there was like some version of competition of something or at least like where I was like, who's like, sounds like it's in your head. But you know it was like this feeling of like we're both funny. We're both have an idea of how this should work. We get along, but also like, you know, I think it was a mutual respect, but also like a healthy sort of a competition, not the right word, but it whatever it was. And when John came listeners a home, I made a film called, don't think twice about an improv group people competitive, but has nothing to do interview nothing. Nothing at all. And I didn't watch that film and and up as a familiarity about any of it when I called you the week came out and offered you. Pardon? You turned up? No, that was unavailable. The name of the person you had offered to before in the chain of the mill. Unbelievable. I can tell you the amount. My wall is casting don't think twice, and I emailed the casting your nose in such a tizzy. And I said, I think Nicole would be great, and I think he would do it because we're friends like we're real friends from life, and then I emailed it to Nick Kroll. It's the classic nobody there CG you see seed me on it, but in a chain of like, who else? Yes, yes, exactly play that. But but anyway, I when I saw John when John and I started working together at Georgia and he was a freshman and I was a senior and I was like, I'm senior. I'm the Big Mac vice now away, but wait. And then I was like in this dude, was just writing jokes and coming up with stuff on the spot that I'm like..

"The be here now called he's of American immigrants, but you know whether wherever they from our ways found out what from did just start a conversation about right before I came here where you from brother, he was like, oh, I'm from Haiti. I say you from Haiti, we'll get you John Laney's to love at your face out outta here. But what I said that for those don't know, Google Google, you know about the French revolution, but Google Haizhu revolution and you'll see both of those two names pop up to overture and John Laney's, you know, they were very instrumental in David, the leaders of it lead well, and that's the thing. Everybody, they will leaders as far as we talking about. Organizing and being one person to point at, but I don't think revolt religion have just a leader. I think everybody's revolting at the same time. So there shouldn't be illegal, like just to make an example. They say Frederick Douglass, Harriet Tubman were at bullishness in my mind, thought every black person does should be an abolition you've been me right, but that may be complicated needs to be some infrastructure of somebody to send out all the handwritten letter. Got that. Somebody got a handle supplies. What what they had to get this apply to get. You know somebody gotta talk to the wholesaler, man. The dope game. I give. Thank my with what brought all is about. You know what I mean? Because we have to do even in the shows and I don't really mean to be like that it'd be speaking on history like that. You know, I used to feel bad about it. You made me feel good about it. You because people be like trying to keep shit because you people overly woke is. If you, I think if you in comedy, if you talk about stuff that's interesting to you and you able to spend and have a good take on it. That's gonna transfer. That's gonna is gonna connect because people say, oh, he really believe in shit. Well, there's something this about serious history. Yeah, versus it could be something trivial about zippers assum. But if if people see my, he series about them zippers, believable, I believe that's his shit. That's believed that he feels that way about because he's saying shit, what is our? But you know, even if belonging I long as something that true. Yeah, you know, it doesn't matter how they feel about it. You know what I'm saying? You have the respect that. You know what I mean? It's like it's not opinion, and that's the thing. People stay no pinions about some things that's different from stating some things are opinions say that you know. I don't know. Maybe I'm saying a different. Maybe I'm confusing myself. I don't know when I'm just happy to be here. Man, I used to be in jail though. I'm out free. I love it. "Six. I'm bradley. Jay Jay talking marklevinshow here. You can talk to both of us you call and you talk to him first. And then you can talk to me. Here. We are. We're still in a new studio still super clean. We did get a memo that says instructions on how to keep the place clean. And I totally get that. Because it's white. And there's a lot of people here and even in a small place things like refrigerators, get disgusting really quickly. So of course, there's going to be hopefully strictness regarding that refrigerators in the workplace are weird. Yeah. This is a zero tolerance policy. I think there's a good plan actually anything you put in the fridge. You gotta put your name on it and a date and after five days it gets thrown out. It's really good policy. I'm scared. I'm going to forget and leave something in there. I'm going to get a call. Bradley Jay, Bradley, Jay in the community office. You left some milk in there? And they went bad. It just goes in the trash. Good. Good. Good good. At least they have somebody. That's gonna come in. And throw it in the trash in most workplaces. They don't as a matter of fact, WBZ old WBZ it got so bad that a throw the fridge out. It was just a dumb little student. Forty dollar fridge. Thank god. If it were bigger would have been that much more disgusting. We'll see we'll see how it goes. I this. Let me just say the places white, and that's awesome. Maybe it'll keep everybody motivated to keep clean. I've actually started being more clean in my home. More. I should say less clutter. In an effort to get in a less cluttering habit in general. So I'm make sure not to be clutter here, you got to be super minimal here. I saw a thing on what was it? Maybe seinfeld. In the work in your workplace never have more at work than you can carry out in one box. I think it's a pretty good plan. Now, I don't do politics much and even the little I do I don't like doing it. I do it out of duty. And I know I know not only in my heart, but from anecdotal evidence that you agree. There's enough political talk on TV. On social media on talk radio to last a lifetime. You don't need me doing it too. I offer you an alternative there's plenty of mouthwash that kills germs. I'm your mouthwash, tastes good. Now, here's some of that anecdotal evidence that I'm right? This comes from a really good guy. I wanna I wanna. You know, tip my cap to every once in a while to a person that I think is awesome. But maybe he doesn't get the recognition they deserve. And this'll be John Mullany. I worked at BBC and for twenty eight years he was there. Most of that time. He's an engineer. He we do remotes. He would you know, go out and broadcast from someplace he'd be the guy that made sure that it worked. He'd go out. There we go out maybe with a van driver. Or street team person and him, and we would say interview Metallica? We would interview Marilyn Manson the van driver would drive. I would talked to Marilyn Manson, and John Mullany would be one of the guys that would make sure the whole thing worked. I could. I could never figure figure out how he does that especially when it's getting down to the crunch time in it's not working. Sometimes there are problems, and you have to keep your cool when you're one of those engineer guys you have to figure on your own. Why this thing's not working and make it work. Magically. So you know, what John Mullany thank you to all for all those years of hanging out with me doing this stuff and one thing about John Laney. Here's a guy that had a lot of cool ideas about how to make the remote broadcasts better. He was willing to go the extra mile to make it cool to have those wireless mics to yet ideas, go over here. And we'll we'll we'll do this. And he wasn't. He wasn't afraid to have ideas that made it sound more exciting and uses skills to make that happen. He was not some guy just wiring it in. He was always anxious to make it sound as exciting as possible. And he always get the job done. I think he should've gotten more more credit throughout your career. And I'm trying to give you some right here. Now, John who's a friend of a Facebook friend of Charles on a personal friend of Charles Lockwood era. Posted this post, and I'm going to read it to you because he kind of feels like I feel I knew I was not alone. Am Betty feels like you feel. I hope he didn't swear this. I did proof read it. But I didn't see any are you ready? He posts on Sunday. Nine thirty nine. I really wish there was a button. I could push to never see anything political on Facebook. I would break that button pushing it so hard. I have so many friends and the left and so many friends on the right and yet in days of old. It was okay to live somewhere in the middle. Like, I do not today. It seems you have to give up one friend or another. I just don't even care that much. I'd rather die than nuclear holocaust in here about who's right or wrong anymore. Clearly John's fed up. No, one changes their political views because of the internet. Sorry Russians you wasted money. It doesn't work. I had the pleasure of meeting Hillary Clinton. And there wasn't a chance. I could vote for her yet. I also never vote for Donald. So. And I know my forefathers fought both fought for both the the the freedom I had to skip apart. I couldn't read that hope it still makes sense. He goes on and on. But basically. He says if they're a button, they could push. So he'd never have to see anything political on Facebook. He would push it so hard it would break and so often at break, he's fed up. He's pulling his hair, and I get that. I'm the same way. I see when I go on Charles Lockwood airs, I I feel like in reference him because. Not a lot of you know, him. He's a guy who was the morning DJ an answer at WBZ and a great rock station here. He runs a very very very very popular Facebook page, and it's very political from time to time. He. Gets burnt out on all the arguing and most recently or very recently said, you know, what I'm just blocking people. I can't I can't take it anymore. Then he'll change his mind. He'll get another a at me when I see these people on either side that somehow now there whole self identity is wrapped up in their political identity and that route to me, they're rude to other people. I just block them. You can put people on thirty day breaks. Whatever do you really need this here? Your parents told you? When you ask them. Daddy mummy who did you vote for? They probably said, you know, what it's secret. There's a reason they said that and they were right to say that because once you get once you go there, it's ugly. And it's funny. We've we've got our parents advice. Yeah. It secret who you voted for. Hey, I'm not telling you why. Well, because if people if people knew who I was voting for half, the people would hate me. I'd lose half my friends, and you do Derek people out there that I don't hang around with anymore. Because of this, and I'm sick of it. So that's why we only do politics when it's wicked important the big stuff. All right. Thanks for letting me. Joseph in Medford. Thank you for letting me get that out there. We're going to break Joseph and you'll beef up right after this break on WBZ. Mine try to radio. Jay, talking Bradley, Jay WBZ, NewsRadio ten thirty just into.

"There's no reason that in this collab- with Grimes, I know so much about quote, unquote it lawn musk, duck. Duck dot Grimes really isn't idiot. This is just Dr. The? No, that's just I mean, while while which she really like win after. I mean, that's sim lake. This is how you know is Elise is good at beef. You know what I mean? Because this is like remember when. Win. Reema did the did the distract against a NICKY Manashe and just completely destroyed human last year. Yeah, shelter and and it using the famous NASDAQ editor as as the baseline. This is like that. But like with Ilan and grind with us, reminded v of, I just watched the John Laney's, one of John Laney's, comedy specials, and he mentions teenagers having the ability to look at you and point out the thing that you yourself or secretly insecure about, and I feel like she did that. She dug her and was like, yes, she's like hair plugs hearing. You know, like like inbred steiger's, Pabst blue ribbon, whatever she about Grimes, which, oh my God, like glorious. I feel like this is your backdrop, right? Bad drama is ill thinking for problem in like getting regulators involved, potentially defrauding investors letter. That's bad. That's, but like a smack with of rapper over your hair plugs. This categorize is good job net key reply. I know Ryan did apply right. No, I don't think so. I don't think she, I don't think Grimes said anything so to lawn, spoke to his motive over direct passage as does I said this before, but but Alon must follows only a few Twitter accounts and one of them for whatever reason is Gizmodo. And so he loves those. Well, but see, we're never nice to him like, I don't understand, like I would have as years ago because he'll careful criticisms actions will cause like we will just straight like this. What I really miss about working there is that if I have like a question strip start, deeming Alana be like, dude, what's happening. And then he was remarkably candid. So so Sydney did demon like dude with happening governor about this girl. But people have multiple people have confirmed that that that as alien banks wasn't heeded his house. Now that doesn't mean that he was there, but, but it's apparently been confirmed that she was actually at his house. And then Zali banks had a direct message conversation on Instagram store on Instagram with visits insider where she wake gave more gossip. So I don't know guys like this whole thing is crazy. Here's the tech angle on this. The claim from Israeli banks is that. Lawn musk was on the phone trying to get investors for taking tesla privates, and that he was having a rough time of it. Yeah. Yasser content for the today. Okay. Well, I mean, honestly, the tech angle is that they were that that this happened, Instagram. I, I mean, it ended. It was a lawn mosque. I don't even think we need to go for the reach of like that involve insider potential scandals, it's all tech. It is all this kit. It's pure rocket in its say, juris four. I was gonna say, this is I've never heard more perfect rocket story ever and ever like when we saw this, I was like dying. I was like, oh my God, like this is the best thing ever. I mean, obviously it's a, I mean, it's just like you said, Simone. This is like people in another class like another level that like we will never exist. And so it's just. Just was going to be first lady denied state and. And I'm getting all of them to my house and track them there. Yes, but yes, exactly. As alii banks has has said many crazy things in her day, and it's gotten into many arguments with many people. This is far and away like this is this is like maybe her greatest hit like, I don't. I don't. I don't know how it goes to one two. And then this. Yeah, so oppose don't usually go after. I just don't buy policy to break that policy. So like I heard about Grimes, Mike again, whatever Selam Justin Bieber. I I'm no, I didn't. They are by certain reading about this and she does EDM..
