Should the Retirement Age Be Raised to Sustain Social Security?
"The average age so if you're going to, if you're going to get social security benefits, you're eligible for full benefits what at 62. You can delay, you can delay that as you can up to what age 70, I think, and of course your benefit about will increase. But a lot of people are debating whether or not they're actually going to retire at the age of 62. Now keep in mind that back when that age was set, most people were not what life expectancy was not that far past the age of 62 for most folks. So anyway, senator John Kennedy, the Republican from Louise Anna, was asked about this, cut number 7. I mean, the life expectancy of the average American right now is about 77 years old. For people who are in their 20s, their life expectancy will probably be 80 5 to 90. Does it really make sense to allow someone who's in their 20s today to retire at 62? Those are the kind of things that we should talk about. It's a fair question. Because social security was not created for the average person to live until their 80s or their 90s.

President Biden's recently announced budget plan is drawing harsh criticism from some Republicans on Capitol Hill. Correspondent Clayton Neville reports. President Biden says his nearly $7 trillion proposed plan would help solve financial issues surrounding Medicare and social security. There are concerns though about the price tag. The committee for a responsible federal budget says the deficit under the president's proposal would almost double over the next decade. Republicans aren't holding back. The only way I know how to improve the president's budget is with a shredder. Senator John Kennedy of Louisiana spoke with Fox News Sunday. The president's budget took my breath away. Here's numbers are extraordinary. We're going to run out of digits here. The president aware of the criticism defends his plan. My plan is going to reduce the deficit by 3 trillion over ten years. Based on what we know so far about their plans going to explode the deficit by more than $3 trillion over the next ten years. They want to cut tax for the wealthy and large corporations. Take away the power we just gave Medicare to negotiate lower drug prices. Still the other reports are concerning for some with projections of almost $5 trillion in tax hikes on corporations and wealthy Americans under the president's plan, which is causing fear of increased costs. That is hilarious audio thanks for the feedback. That actually happened. COVID rules about tennis balls. You can kick other people's balls, but don't touch them. I mean, this actually happened. And you wonder why people are faith in our institutions, this entirely and completely falling apart. So Merrick Garland was up on Capitol Hill, and this man is a disgrace to humankind. I mean, really, thank the lord, and I don't use his name in vain. Right? The lord, this guy's not on the Supreme Court. I mean, you could make the case, yeah, he's doing as much damage right now in the attorney general spot. And I wouldn't disagree with you, but there's a difference. The attorney general's spot is not a lifetime post. He will be out immediately if we win in 2024. I suspect he'd be the first guy to resign because he wouldn't last one day. The minute Trump or desantis or someone else wears in, that's the end to him. He's gone. On the Supreme Court, we would be stuck with this idiot forever. Ruling on things like civil liberties, human life, your right to carry and protect yourself, you're right to speak. Can you imagine dealing with this buffoon? What am I talking about? So he goes up on the hill, and I don't have time for the I'm going to play the audio after break, but I'm going to tee it up for you because this is important. The Reason for the Nixon/Trump Venom With John O'Connor
"It seems like the Nixon and Trump situations are somewhat anomalous. And by that, I mean, they didn't seem to. They tried to go after Reagan on Iran contra. I'm sure they weren't happily happy with either HW or Joe or W, but it seems that there's a particular venom that I see with Nixon and now resurrected with Trump. What is the reason for that? It's all visceral. When the recent Watergate shows were on, like one produced by John dean on CNN. Every now and then, they just gratuitously throw in Trump. Oh, yes, Trump and Nixon. They're both can be cartoonish figures to the left. And Nixon was never a Hollywood guy. He was never a great glad hander, like Bill Clinton was always charming. John Kennedy starring Barack Obama's charming. Trump, to a lot of people, rushed people the wrong way. He's a bull in the China shop, and that's why he got elected, frankly, because people were disgusted with the China shop. So they're very much similar in that sense, what I would say about Nixon is he both of them have sort of a certain contentious personality and so when met with issues, Nixon becomes cheerless Trump becomes combative and it's easy to say, oh, look at this guy. He's a terrible guy. That's all it is. It's visceral. Nothing, not a lot of substance to it.

"The next morning he was gonna shoot the cover for John Kennedy junior's magazine George and he didn't want to shoot it. He was out too late. He was with Ashley, then he met us at spy bar down in Soho. We had a ball. I mean, oh God, I'm getting on so many tangents. The point is, he never showed up for the shoot and John Kennedy junior couldn't do anything about it because it was the weekend he was in the island off Georgia about to get married to Carolyn bessette. And that's the night that Jack told me, I'm in town for the kids wedding. I said, oh, who's getting married? John John. And Jack just gave me everything. He told me to get married. They're on Cumberland island. He didn't know. He just gave me every fucking fact. And after that dinner I called my friend rosemary who represented John and I said, hey, I know the wedding is this weekend. I know where it's at. I know it's in tumbling island. Just tell John and Carolyn, I ain't gonna write about it, but just let them know I'm thinking about them. I want them to have a good time. AJ, I don't know what you're talking about. It's not true. Jeff Stein Reacts to Sen. John Kennedy's Latest Political Ad
"Want to get y'all's reaction to this great campaign ad that came out from the wordsmith of the U.S. Senate. I'm speaking of none other than senator John Kennedy of Louisiana. Violent crime is surging in Louisiana. Woke leaders by the police. I blame the criminals. A mom should not have to look over her shoulder when she's pumping gas. I voted against the early release of violent criminals. And I opposed defunding the police. Look, if you hate cops just because of cops, the next time you get in trouble, call a crackhead. I'm John Kennedy, and I approve this message. Chest I call a crackhead. Oh, sure, I have to follow John Kennedy. No, I mean, but that's the whole point of it, isn't it? It's that when you're able to make political hay, well, that's defund the police. Let's bail the criminals out of jail so they can reoffend. Well, that all sounds really good if you have security. If you have your, you know, Cory bush can say it's great to defund the police while she has a security detail. That is to Mary's earlier point so tone deaf and you give somebody who can actually speak without Washington gibberish like the senator, there's your closing argument, Todd right there.

"Think and I agree, but we have to make sure that we don't try to put our own Salvation on that because maybe God has been calling them for the last 35 years and they have been refusing. You know, when Jesus break the sky, when the Jesus break the sky and come back, you know, you know, what's going to happen then, you know, is it going to be a point which people are going to be able to or let or let's go with this one. Let's go with this one about the ark and the flood. You know, of course, you know, Noah was preaching and preaching and preaching the preaching and that came with point in time where he had to shut the door to the ark. And I guarantee you that some people were like, well, wait a minute. Wait a minute. I thought she was playing at first. And then it came to a point where there was no impasse and everybody else perished because they did not react. So I agree with you. I wish I had to do this before. I had a person that I called him, and he was on his deathbed. And I prayed with him and I encouraged him, but I can't say that I don't know what happened to him. I'm just praying that God did something in his heart and helped him out. But I also read in John three and three where it says you must be born again. And so I can't say that the person was born again can God make an exception when you go to heaven possibly, but the way I teach people is that you must be born again and I'm not going to wait. I'm going to get you now. Let's go now. Let's go get baptized today. Let's go, let's pray with you. Let's do it now because you never know when your time will come. Yeah, the other side of it is an in Matthew 7 22 through 22 where he says, again, all that day some will see to me lord lord, did we not prophesy in your name, they cast out demons. I think my opinion on that one and I'm not trying to write my relationship to it is I gotta say that this is kind of directed towards your parasitical type of people your preachers and your pastors and your deacons. Yeah, you've been in a church for 30 years, but like you described earlier, those people are the hypocrites. You've been in the church. "This is the officer Tatum show. Keeping it real. I want to get off this subject of Herschel Walker, but it's very difficult for me to do that. I just think there's so much material here to so many things, so many so many dynamics. You know, after all that I've said, I want to also point out this dynamic of the single mom. I just can not point this out real quick, ladies and gentlemen. Just bear with me. I see her Christian walker. And I often wonder this one point. How much influence mother have on him and how much of that is causing him to be at an impasse or a level of frustration with his father? I often wonder because I'm looking right now, y'all can't see what I'm looking at, but I'm looking at the right wing angel. If you go on the Twitter, I mean, Instagram, you could look up the right wing angel, look it up, he got a post about it. It shows pictures of Herschel Walker and his dad, it shows it shows text message or twitters or comments related to Christian walker's statement about his dad when he first came out and started running for the Senate seat. And I'm gonna read it. It says it's official, in big bold letters. My dad Herschel Walker is running for the United States Senate in Georgia. I'm so, I mean, it's so little. Let's see, I'm so proud that he's choosing to step up to the plate and do this for our great country. It's past time to start taking action for freedom and standing against the Democrats trying to take that away. Let's turn the Senate red. That's one of the things he said. And then there's another post city post, happy Father's Day, Herschel Walker, at Herschel Walker. Thank you for all you do and for your love of our great country, can't wait to see all you do. This is what he's saying. And then let me see there's another one. Here's another post. It says, thankful. I had a black father who empowered me to be a Victor and supported me on my endeavors instead of pouring victimhood into me and telling me I'm oppressed. Happy Father's Day dad, that Herschel Walker. Now, if you're saying these things about your father, are you lying or is he lying? I mean, if your dad is such a dirtbag, and he was abusive and all this other stuff that hurts you, that Christian walker said, then why would you come out and lie to the people and act like your daddy is good because we're listening to you? And people to vote for your father. Because of some of the things that you said. And now you come out and frustrated. And if you listen to the rhetoric, and I'm not saying that the boy ain't right, I'm just saying, listen to the rhetoric, he's saying, he don't like that he was lied to in the disrespect between him and his mother. Notice that he's saying, me and my mother, to me, when a young man says things like that, that tell me that he has some unique attachment to his mother. Good, bad or indifferent. And maybe his mother's offended by what Herschel Walker said once or twice or maybe she's the abortion person. And she's offended and how is she portraying it to her son, which made her son come out against his own father when he was just saying happy Father's Day and I'm glad that you're running for office. That's one thing that I think that it's questionable to me and I often think that we should be talking about this. You know, some women can be very toxic to their children. They can be very toxic. And y'all all have experiences. Some of y'all remember I talked about this one time in the air, so many me and Colin in talking about these toxic crazy situations. Some women can be incredibly toxic, where they turn their children against the father. Because for whatever reason the father isn't there whether by choice or by being forced out of the family that sometimes these moms take their little boys and they treat them like they're their friends. You are my best friend. When I see a woman on Instagram, say, this is my man. My little man, the love of my life. I don't need no man. I got my, this is the only man that matter in my life. That tells that listen, young man, if you trying to date a woman and in her Twitter, somewhere, she got a little boy there, and she goes, I don't, this is the only man I need in my life. That is the biggest red flag. Of all time. That means run, do not attempt to date a woman like that. She has been brainwashed or whatever into believing in putting too much energy into that little boy as if they Friends. That is your child. You are a mother. One of your obligations as a mother is to find a healthy father to be in this boy's life if his father is not around. That is your obligation, not to be his little friend. And doctor go through life saying, I don't need no man. You do need a man. You do need a man. You're just men are sick of you. That's why you in a situation that you are, but you do need a man. I just hate when people say that. I don't need no man. I'm good by myself. Don't lie to yourself. You're going to be because what happens is these women do this and they pour all this into these little boys and the boy go off to college and live his life and she end up dying with a cat. Just by herself, you do need a man and you need to get married if his father is away, you need to introduce a male figure in his life. And I don't think there's not one woman on earth that shouldn't be married. There's not one woman that shouldn't be married. Marriage is a beautiful thing. To have a man that can protect you, and you need protection. 'cause I'm out here a lot of winter, I don't need a man to protect me. Yeah, okay. That's how cute. You need a man to protect you. Physically, morally. I mean, whatever the case might be, you need a man to protect you. And a man needs a great woman. To be, you know, help meet in his life. I'll

Herschel Walker Denies Abortion Allegations
"I still have to talk about this Christian walker thing. You know, one of my friends, right wing angel, he posted some stuff online and he's showing these pictures of Christian walker with his dad, every step of the way, and then all of a sudden, Christian walker has come out against his dad. I want you to hear what Herschel Walker has said about the abortion claim. I just want you to hear from his mouth. I already talked about it, but I want you to hear what he had to say, so 44 second clip. Let's roll clip three. Do you know the woman that is making this allegation? I have no idea, but it is a flight out lie. And now you know how important this seat is, the seat is very important that they'll do anything to win this seat, lie because they want to make it by everything else except what the true problems that we have in this country is. This inflation, the border wide open, crime, they don't want to talk about that. So they're making up lies now because they need this Georgia seat. So I'm going to encourage anyone out there. Let's not let them take this seat. If you can go to team horse or dot com, let's not let them take this seat because if they take this seat, we won't recognize this country tomorrow because right now for them to come out with total lies. "In the break, I had kept talking, I think there was a glitch in the last thing I said was that I was going to fight that teacher. I was going to beat her up and that's the type of person that I was. So let me try to finish that thought because I was going on a thing for like two minutes after the break. But after that, after me getting in trouble, I got suspended from school. I mean, I got expelled from school. It wasn't just suspension. I got expelled. I had to go to alternative school. And that was one of the biggest blessings of my life going to alternative school because I never want to get in trouble again after that. I mean, I thought I was in prison. Think about first world issues. I had to wear uniforms. And that was enough for me to say, and we had to go through meta detectors, and they gave us these little pencils. I mean, it was hell going through there. I want no parts of going through alternative screw ever again. And I went on to college and I had a terrible attitude. I had a terrible attitude. People on the team were afraid of me, the coaches were afraid of me. You say the wrong thing to me and Brandon Tatum is fighting. I can't tell you how many cell phones I've broken. I can't tell you how many VHS tapes I destroyed. And some of young people that are listening, you don't know what a VHS tape is. However, VHS tapes, I destroyed them when I was upset. I never got into mystic violence or anything like that, but I had a terrible attitude, but I got saved. That's the beauty of the redemption story. I got saved. I was baptizing Jesus name field with God's spirit, and it changed me. I quit cursing. You know, I just thought I thought of things much differently. And I tell you it. Before I was saved, you know, would I have been in a domestic violence situation? I mean, I don't think so. Why Christian Walker Denounced His Father
"This was very difficult for me and I know my wife is going to be mad that I'm talking about this to a certain degree, but I'm not going to go all full crazy with it. Herschel Walker, let me just start with what I think about Herschel Walker. And then we'll talk about the controversy of how his son came out against him. And I know Christian walker. I mean, I know of him. My wife knows him pretty good. She was messaging him yesterday and accidentally, hey, are you okay? What's going on? With the things that he said on social media about Herschel Walker and then there's a rumor that her walker forced a woman to have an abortion now. I want to give you a warning. If you are sensitive, you might not want to listen to what I have to say because I'm not going to hold back on what I actually feel about these whole allegations situations. However, let me start with what I feel about Herschel Walker. When I met her walker, and then also I've seen him on plenty platforms, I follow him on social media, I don't know him, right? He's not my daddy. I have a great father. He's not my dad. I don't know the man that well. However, the way he comes across, it seems to be very genuine. He seems like a genuine, good hearted Christian individual. Now, some of these allegations about Herschel Walker is from his past. Now, for those who don't know, Herschel Walker was an NFL football player, I don't know if he's been inducted in Hall of Fame, but from my stance and how I know him to be such an electrifying football player, I would argue that he's a Hall of Famer. And Herschel Walker played football, obviously he had his kids. There's rumors that he have multiple kids by multiple women. And he didn't raise none of them. It's from what his son, Christian has said on his social media. However, I don't see her she walk up in that way, but I do understand it. I don't know that man. Now, let me get into some more of these allegations. This is what bothers me about what Christian walker did and this is what bothers me in general about how people always bring up another person's past. There's always two sides to the coin.

What We Know About Herschel Walker
"This is the part where it's troubling to me. To hear Herschel Walker's son come out and make these statements about his father. As a father, it is troubling for your child, your son, to have such egregious things to say about you. It is hard for me to believe that this is not in some part true. Now of course, Christian walker is the older kid now. He and a baby. So Herschel may have done these things in incredibly long time ago. They still don't make them right. Domestic violence, I mean, you know, I don't understand domestic violence situations. I was a football player now, of course, I wasn't in the NFL like hertz walker, but I play free safe. Now you smash people in practice. I was one of the hardest people working out in the weight room. I was a monster. However, I would never put my hands on a woman, and I would never engage in domestic violence with somebody.

He's funny to me, but he launched this new ad campaign that took aim at anti cop voters the other day to 32nd ad, he tells viewers that violent crime is surging in Louisiana and behind in their images of dark figures holding guns surrounding a white truck and he says, walk leaders blame the police. And there's all protesters carrying signs that read defund the police, I blame the criminals, he said. I voted against the early release of criminals, and I oppose defunding police. Look, if you hate cops, just because they're cops. Next time you're in trouble, call a crackhead. I love this guy. I always like his appearances on Fox News. He's got that Cajun sense of humor. We don't get too much of any more. Up here and he out in California. I got it when I was down there. I love the Yuma down there when I was in the French Quarter and hanging out with some friends. It was really fun.

Mark Levin: The Democrats Are Crooked, Corrupt Cheats
"The Democrats are crooked they are corrupt and they are cheats That's the way the Democrat party has been since its founding Crooked corrupt Cheats Lyndon Johnson John Kennedy Just to name two But let's talk about now Let's talk about noun They spend millions and millions of dollars interfering in the Republican primaries To try and nominate individuals they think they can be I don't think they'll beat them but that's not my point Their goal is to try to nominate the Republicans that they claim to want right The Democrats don't have to fear that from the Republicans The Democrat party has a hitman a slip and fall ambulance chasing lawyer in my humble opinion by the name of Mark Elias Who organizes scores and scores of litigators in various localities and states To go to court to change the election laws to improve the chances for the Democrat party and the right careful about the kinds of cases they bring and where they bring them And that was a problem in 2020 as well

Sen. John Kennedy: It Takes a Special Kind of Stupid to Raise Taxes
"U.S. Senate over the weekend, senator John Kennedy. It takes a special comp stupid in my judgment to raise taxes during both a recession and inflation. That's called stagflation, which is what we have right now as a result of President Biden's policies. Look, I'm not saying that senator Manchin intentionally wants to hurt people. I'm not saying that he intentionally wants to have even more people living in a tent behind Whataburger. But that's going to be the result of this bill. I hope I'm wrong. But I think I'm right. This bill is here one moronic. Man, I love that guy. And when you think we don't have enough clarity in the Republican Party, you remember folks like him. 12% of Americans think the Democrat inflation reduction act will reduce inflation and what blows my mind is Joe Manchin's promise that he would never hurt his constituents or the American people with a tax increase and economic pain. By going along with this boneheaded scheme.

Doug Dives Into Part 2 of His JFK Speech Series
"Want to do what we're going to call part two of the John Kennedy speech series. Just the other day we did a breakdown of his inauguration speech. One in which we broke it down and really in the comments that I've heard is that if read in isolation, it would be hard to realize that this was a Democrat giving that speech. This was, it was about what we can do for our country, not what the country simply does for us. Our standing in the world standing strong against enemies. Again, Kennedy put laid for what would become known as Camelot in that speech. Now, later on, the candidate administration, although there are many who look back on it as this idealistic time in which everything was good and everything was great. You know, the reality is it's not true. The reality is, a lot of things were brewing on the world stage. We had the Cold War was getting worse. You had the issue with the space race was developing. We're going to talk about that today. You had the fact that we suffered a military defeat in the bay of pigs in Cuba. We had the later on was going to have the same year we're going to have a standoff with Russia in Cuba over missiles. I mean, there was a lot going on during this time that, you know, you were not saying we're good. I mean, he was struggling with many of his legislative accomplishments or trying to get going. But there was still this sense of all. They were still the sense of hope. There was still this sense of a little bit of wonder, I guess, if you would, that Kennedy and his family, you know, just from their young and their energetic nature was presenting to the world.

When JFK Took Office, We Were Not Winning the Space Race
"The space race was something that was we were not winning. When a Kennedy came into office, we were not winning the space race. In fact, we were behind to Russia in the space race. Yuri Gagarin's space flight in the 12th of April in 1961 was a major embarrassment for John Kennedy because he was just, I mean, just a few months after the inaugural space that we have talked about here on the podcast, this is when it happens. And until that point, he had frankly Kennedy had not taken the space race very seriously. But he was shocked at the global response to Russia's triumph. They became an even more heightened sense of paranoia. Is Russia going to do a space? Are we safe anymore? Is Russia going to take over? All of this was part of the calculus when he first came in, was coming into office and then is this progressed. With all the other issues that he had going on, this presented a problem that he wanted to fix, we're going to talk about it here in a little bit more. How he began to look at he began to set The White House in motion to our space program to build it up to make it not only ahead of the Russians, but actually accomplish things.

A Look at the Inauguration Speech of President John F. Kennedy
"Is what I think I would love to say is candidacy's promise here. He said, look, we may not accomplish everything we're setting out to do here. In the time frame that many of you are going to impose a hundred days, thousands of it. He said, but if we at least begin, we can begin the process of moving forward. He then reminds them going back if you remember our first statement where he says not from the generosity of the state, he reminds the people that they have a part to play in this as well. He says, in your hands, my fellow citizens more than even mine are more than the state he's implying will rest the final success or failure of our course. Since this country was founded each generation has been someone to give testimony to its national loyalty. Wow. Again, Democrat, John Kennedy, talking about nationalism, talking about national pride, national loyalty that we step up because this is the country that has given us the hope and the birth of freedom and liberty that we have. And he famously used by saying the graves of young Americans who answered the call to service surround the globe. Reminding us that America is the bright shining light of the future that Ronald Reagan talked about The Shining city on the hill that was mentioned. He understood this Kim to understand that we have played a great part in keeping the world free, pushing back against fascism and nazism and totalitarianism and communism. We were still in the first stages of some of this, but he said, we've done this already and we have to continue to do it. He discusses that this is going to be a struggle. And in this struggle, it is something that to not move away from. He says, now the trumpet summons us again not as a call to bear arms, though arms we need, not as a call to battle, going battle, we are, but a call to bear the burden of a long twilight struggle year in and year out. Rejoicing in hope, patient and tribulation, a struggle against the common enemies of man. Tyranny, poverty, disease, and war, it self.

JFK Understood the Power of Negotiation
"Kennedy's statement here, if there was anything that I would love for this podcast to be able to get across, is that there is ways that we can negotiate through the problems in our country. And do it in a civil manner that we're not enemies. I think what was interesting here is Kennedy putting this in perspective of world powers, the American bloc British the American bloc and the Russian bloc and Soviet Union in that time was at ads with each other, but he was actually saying we can never put aside the fact that we need to negotiate. And we're going to have proof in this negotiation, but we've got to negotiate. And I think with people today, when we look at the condition of our country, when we look at the condition of the economy, there's many challenges that we face across the world. We have got to be willing to find ways of negotiation and not give up who we are inherently or from a moral background, but we've also got to be willing to enter into negotiation with those who don't think like we do, agree like we do or talk like we do or understand what we do if we're ever to solve the problems that will be the things that lead to our confrontations here in the future in the United States.

"Now, here's the interesting term. Not only is he discussing the fear that was out there among many in the discussion of nuclear weapons or nuclear war, he's also saying, look, though, he said, the only way we can assure that this is not going to happen is that we're going to have to build up our nuclear arsenal to where there is beyond any doubt and certain doubt that we will not have to use these weapons. In other words, the mutually assured destruction philosophy and plan of the United States 5th time was becoming evident in the inaugural speech of John Kennedy and saying, look, he said, we're going to keep our weapons. We're going to grow our weapons. We're going to make sure that we have the weapons that we need so that there is no way that we ever have to employ. That no one in their right mind would challenge us or we will go forward and decide you're going to try and use nuclear weapons somewhere in the world or especially against us because if we do, you're simply going to wipe yourself out as well. This was the default this was the plan. He also is a concern and he lists this concern in the next party, says, but neither can too great and powerful groups of nations take comfort from our present course. Both sides overburdened by the cost of modern weapons, both rightly alarmed by the spread. City spread of the deadly atom, yet both racing to alter the in certain balance of terror that stays the hand of mankind's final war. Acknowledging, look, you know, we can't keep doing what we're doing. At some point, he's saying, look, we're going to have what we need to protect ourselves as a country, but we're also know that we can't keep doing this. And doing so, we're going to put out a plan. And we're willing to work with anyone to say, look, we're willing to find a better path, but it will never come into the security of the United States. So Ian's by saying this, he said, so let us begin anew talking to the world enemies and others. He said, remembering our on both sides that civility is not a sign of weakness, sincerity is always subject to proof, let us never negotiate out of fear, but let us never negotiate never fear to negotiate. I want to stop here for just a minute. And say, this is the one thing that I see that is so desperately needed today. And not just as being discussed here in a sort of a foreign adversary sense. I think what Kennedy brings out here should be something that is discussed in our everyday American lives. When you see the frustration when you see the problems that we have in our country and then you see a lack of willingness for people to of different points of view, whether it be liberal conservative libertarian, where it may be of an inability to civilly sit down and discuss something, subject to proof, subject to making sure that we're not just making wild accusations on either side. That we come to negotiation because we believe it is the right thing. You know, as he says, let us never negotiate out of fear, but let us never fear to negotiate. Negotiation is become a seemingly dirty word in our society today. If you're a conservative, you don't want to see a negotiation with the left because there's this idea and sometimes rightfully so where the when conservatives negotiate with the last conservatives give up everything, the left gets everything they want. Well, the transverse screw as well. And that is that many times the left does not want to negotiate with those on the right because again, they feel like many of their followers said, well, we don't get what we want..

Bush, so I don't think that we're going to see a third party being formed again back to Washington that The other day, I think of our mutual friend Crazy's good friend of mine, Jerry Nadler. When the suggestion was made in Congress that we should open congressional sessions between Pledge of Allegiance, Jerry shot it down. What is going on in America? Is it when I was a kid? When I was a kid? We had a big debate because they added the words under God to the Pledge of Allegiance and We were used to saying, you know, one nation invisible. Then they added one nation under God indivisible, and that was a big argument, and some people refuse to say the under God saying that violates the First Amendment, separation of church and state. How could anybody refuse to pledge allegiance to the United States of America? It's country loved. It's the country In my case with my family that saved us from, you know, death in Europe on my Love America and I moved closer to pledge Allegiance and act. Patriotic Lee toward a country I love. I do the same thing. Did. The Democrats took a congresswoman Green and threw her off all the committees, and that's the first time it's ever done. What I am. Yeah. You know, it raises some constitutional questions about whether or not Congress can act as Congress against somebody for making terrible statements, outrageous statements, some of them just horrible denying the school shootings. Things of that kind but completely protected by the First Amendment. And then the next question is when the Republicans gain control of the house are vegan to they're going to take you Lan O'Mara, who's made miserable anti Semitic, horrible statements about advantage over the world. Yeah, through the through there through there. Benjamin's and how Israel's hypnotize the world to disguise their evil. The difference we green unwanted. O'Mara's green has been repudiated by most Republicans, whereas a lot on there has not been repudiated, and she still serves. On the House Foreign Affairs Committee. The committee that has jurisdiction over American relations with Israel has on it. A woman who says that you know, his real as hypnotize the world and the Jews of Benjamins are the ones that know control. So you know what's good for the goose? And so I think we're going to see The Republicans take over in two years. I think yuan O'Mara will be taking all apart committees in retaliation. What have you been able to listen to top secret stuff that involves Iran, and she may be report that Yeah. Look, I have no brief for green. I wish she hadn't made those statements in stages are despicable. Um, you know, saying that Clinton killed John Kennedy and that you know, the school Children weren't really killed and And that you know, there was a body double for loose bait against. So you know all the rules of being broken now, and we're getting more and more divided and nothing's happening to bring us together right now. You got a minute left. I don't like what someone said on and therefore not gonna patronize their business. War. I don't like that corporate behavior. I'm not going to own that stock. We see a lot of folks expressing a lot of concern over the behavior of Amazon, Apple Google Twitter. Simon and Schuster on other corporations because of the way they have responded in the wake of the riots that occurred on Capitol Hill. It has caused a lot of investors to say I want to dump those stocks. They're calling their investment advisors and saying if those stocks or in my portfolio, get rid of him Well here gentleman financial engines. Quite frankly, we can accommodate requests like that. But I'm not sure that you should and by the way, even if you do get rid of those stocks Is that enough? You've got to be prepared to truly walk the walk. It's not enough for you to say I'm not going to be an investor in Amazon. You've gotta equally agree that you're no longer going to shop on Amazon or whole foods for that matter, Because Amazon knows Whole foods, you're not going to read The Washington Post. Or visit its website Because Jeff Bezos list CEO of Amazon owns the Washington Post. It means you're going to stop using Google Do you use Gmail? You're gonna have to go get a new email system because of your attitude. And how about taking it a step further. You're not even going to be able to use websites that used Amazons Cloud and that means canceling your Netflix account. Because Netflix uses Amazon Cloud services. You need to shut down your social media accounts stop using YouTube. Are you willing to do all that? If you're not, then why are you selling the stocks? In other words, if you're going to make a political statement with your money fine, make the full and complete political statement. Not just one merely out of convenience because, hey, whether given stock is in your diversified portfolio or not won't affect your daily life. If it doesn't affect your daily life, then where's the sacrifice? Where's the true statement that you're making? So if you're going to do it Do it right. And like I said, your financial advisor should be able to accommodate your wishes. The real question is whether or not it's in your best interest to do so. So have a thorough conversation with your advisor before you unilaterally or through a knee jerk reaction out of a momentary anger. Do something that may end up hurting you. More than helping you. And let's remember that throughout all of this There is something that truly does matter. The challenges were experiencing at the moment as horrific as they are, and I think they are as horrific as anything we've seen in my lifetime. They do bring back memories of the 19 sixties, the race riots We had the anti war demonstrations for were killed at Kent State. The assassinations off John Kennedy, Bobby Kennedy and Martin Luther King. The horrific unrest that occurred and let me not forget, Malcolm X is well. We have seen And witnessed and many of us participated in social dissent and unrest in an effort to bring about necessary change in our country. But for all of it, there was really at the end of the day on Lee. One reason we did any of this. There was only one reason we raised posters raised our fists and protest. It was because of our Children. It wasn't that we were necessarily terribly worried about our personal present. It was the future that our Children would grow up in. The end of the day. What truly matters. Is the future that our Children are going to inherit. And we need to make sure that the behaviors we engage in are studying our Children up for success. And so I want to do a little bit of a tangent here on that message. Because the recent study just emerged from T. Rowe Price, its annual parents, Kids and money survey. 35% of parents say that they are always trying to quote unquote. Keep up with the Joneses. 53% of parents admit that they hide purchases from their spouses. 59% say they're using credit cards to pay monthly bills. 72% living paycheck to paycheck..
