"Disparate across the team. Yeah buttons very true so it doesn't vary brain invoicing but you wrong you can you tell me why would i do see more hybrid models these days anyway. I mean maybe that's right. Maybe that's wrong. But so then then. Because what i what i look at it. I see all the benefits of inbound team and all the benefits of an bound team. Right like i can see that visually. What are the benefits of the hybrid. Way like walk me through that. What's what's the what's the plus there. Which i do feel like you're just a lot more aligned on the territory and the line with you. I think that's i think that's the main that the closeness to the the alignment to the specific a e- exactly and again i'm coming from know engage. Oh where we are doing. A lot of abm and you have very specific account. You have that target accounts going after so it's like you do have kind of air cover to that that extra territory that you know it's not on your targeted columnists in they're coming inbound But then you do have a good amount that are on your targeted countless coming inbound and the people you're going outbound after is obviously only people on your target account list so i will i will grant you two things here as pluses that you just said the i think if you're marking strategies have abm which we do a lot of abm here at ring. It does become a bit complex to make sure that you're aligning enough non. Abm leads to the inbound team. Because you do want the abm leads to go to the outbound yards. Who are actually working. Those accounts right because that's good strategic approach and i guess the upside of the sdr alignment. That's like super close. Knit is probably would have the added bonus of helping your str's learn a lot potentially faster. I don't necessarily think it would be but potentially help them ramp faster into becoming an individual contributing e. Yeah i think if you're involved with a just seeing how the a east rock the sales deals and they can speak to your product so well like just having that visibility into how you're a cells is super powerful it's also education on territory vertical or however you're structured. You're going to be able to law. Learn a lot quicker and you don't have to be spread so thin if you're taking inbound it's like who who knows where it's coming from what vertical they're in or what territory or gio. Whatever like you're not gonna be able to have as good of a conversation. You're not going to be able to talk to their pain. Points are specifically. Know their business as well as you would. If you are broken out into those to like industry specific yeah exactly trickling go. Sdr bdr blah blah blah blah blah. Right interesting i mean. It's a valid consideration. I still disagree with you but coming from a little humility. That's the word we're choosing. I so i guess like my my next question because one of the reasons as a person specifically and i think john jonathan actually touched on this when he was talking about it that i like having an inbound. Sdr teams that just doesn't biard inbound. Is that that team. Almost kind of exists in this weird ether between sales and marketing which really helps create a bridge between those team. That helps my alignment. It helps us align better to the leads that creating helps us give more feedback on the messaging in the content upstream to marketing to improve their. How do you do that in hybrid role like do you feel like you lose that. Just the feedback. Yeah feedback loops and like the alignment in general like like i can say for example that if my inbound sdr teams quarter capacity is acts than my marketing squatter capacity should match it right because they're fielding one hundred percent of the marketing leads so it's really easy for me to aligned directional goals as well as like the feedback loops just generally across those two teams because i have that very clean delineation. So my when i managed crtv is actually a hybrid role. Probably hate it but but How do you feel if you lose that. Or how do you not lose some of that yet. But i will say. We switched like three times like we started out as do that for everybody. Waste terrible these. Yeah i your.

A bunch of to news media outlets. Did you see any of no I honestly do not watch the news I have fucking clue what's going on with today in the world because it's a lot of bullshit altering in nonsense but oh, absolutely agree hundred percent. Only I'm a news junkie but most of The News, the people Digest. It comes from news. Talk shows not really news. You know they're in. There aren't news anchors, their talk show host that has a bunch of alleged pundits. Opining on different Shit you know. Anyway this. You probably. Youtube you can. Grab pieces of it. So revealing so revealing. On the guy that's. Leading the country but but again. I'm a news junkie and it doesn't matter what side of. The fence ones on if they watch some of this interview. I mean. You'll see the real guy that's leading the country. I, mean. Here let me give me an example. Of question in almost verbatim answer. You're familiar with just recently a congressman by the name of John Lewis died. Know. Who John Lewis? Aren't no. This is cool because we talked about this kind of stuff and let's this is our. what we'll call civics WANNA one versus extra government. But so John Lewis was an Afro American. WHO In the nineteen fifties was nineteen twenty years old Kinda. Guy. Ok. So he grew up in an he came from a place in Troy Alabama. So he and his family experienced some of the most severe. Treatment mistreatment that. Black folks could endure. It was before that afro-americans or any minority for that had necessarily a right to vote. Because at that right that amendment didn't occur until. Nineteen. Sixty. Three or four I believe is when that law was passed into law that no everybody's equal and everybody gets about it doesn't matter if you're black or not in yellow person can drink out of the water fountain as White Person. On. It's OK. In the deep south, it wasn't in there's parts of the deep South where they still have the segregated water fountains and bathrooms they don't necessarily enforce them. But so he grew up in that environment and if you're familiar with.

Go at HBO now at HBO. Go now. App. We still have figured it out. So obviously some pressing matters facing America right now. But what we do know is that Axios, which is the news arm there with the HBO had there. Reporter gentle in Swan, who was able to sit down with the president. No. Do we give the president credit for doing an interview? With somebody who is not friendly. For doing an interview with somebody outside of Fox or Ah! The one American news. Breitbart's. Do we give the president credit for that? Because New Gingrich did Remember the last time that the president looked like a boob on an interview, and he's like, Well, he did the interview. Joe Biden won't even talk to the press, and you're just going Really? Like that. The area was so bad that the best thing you can say about it is Joe Biden hasn't had a press conference and X amount of days. That's the best thing you can say. Wow. Okay. Excellent. Like owning a construction company. And somebody falls off in I beam and breaks their neck. And they say, Wow, yourjob site is show incredibly unsafe. How could your job site be unsafe, and the only thing they can say is well, the other guy had an accident One time. That doesn't that doesn't stop your job's safe from being an absolute disaster. Okay. All right. Good. That's American. We're in now. So here's the deal. He was speaking on the John Lewis John Jonathan Swan asked Donald Trump about John Lewis again, who recently passed when I believe the interview was recorded last Tuesday. On DSO trumps meandering response was basically I don't know the guy. Never met him. Don't know the guy. Yeah. What about his history? What history never met the guy. John Lewis is lying.

"It is. All right. Eight hundred nine four one Sean if you want to be a part of this extravaganza. News roundup information overload hour we have John Jonathan Gilliam former FBI agent air Marshall, author of sheep, no more than yell McLaughlin. Attorney constitutional, liberal, and friend of the program, are you Danielle you doing? Well, thank you for being with us. Hi, sean. Hi, jonathan. You're going to go this way of disarming Jonathan myself by coming on the program. Hey guys, see you after ask a really hard question that she wants to avoid or spend a little extra time thinking about bringing on bring it on. Well, I think I'm bringing everything on, but, you know. You look at the fake news industry now Danielle you're going to admit that they've been wrong. We've had four separate investigations is no conspiracy. There was no collusion with Russia with Donald Trump and his campaign. There was no obstruction of Justice by Donald Trump speaking, he could have fired Muller as he told me last night constitutionally under article two he could have removed them for conflicts, and it would have been replaced with somebody else. He chose not to do it. He did complain openly about it. But complaining, you know, having us an innocent person act trae Audi s that question I think an innocent person shouts their innocence. I don't think an innocent person stands back quietly and hopes that everything goes away and the president rightly, because now four separate times. He's been proven innocent and was not part of any effort to collude, but Hillary Clinton. Well, she did use Russia disinformation cheap paid for why did. Muller. Not investigate that. That wasn't part of re-met. Slowdown mandate was wide and broad. And it had to do with all things Russia, collusion, Russian appearance, twenty sixteen election, and if he had time to investigate taxi medallions loan applications taxes, go back to the eighties. And nineties, you're telling me that a phony Russian dossier bought and paid for by Hillary Clinton. That was used as of the full of Russian lies used as the basis for Pfizer applications, and FIS of fraud, and also disseminated to the American people by intelligence operatives to the Washington Post and Clinton hacks like David corn. You're saying that, that has no room and Muller's investigation, because that doesn't sound reasonable to me. Cohen. I pot. With a he was a reliable witness that clearly there were huge numbers of Trump. Problematic behavior. Posits say the texting the Bank fraud various other things, I do suspect that momma looked into the basis, you know, the Steele dossier. But at the end of the day, still British bean. De Democrats, and also anything that was the Steele dossier didn't actually come out until after the election, the dossier. So head no impact on people's view of Donald Trump because nobody knew about it. When they to the poll Jonathan. I, I just want to tell Daniel that I do appreciate her demeanor when she come running compared to MSNBC you know the way they demean the president and they don't make any good points. It's just to mean to mean to mean what a hope with Danielle is that she doesn't hold it all back. And then eventually look like Marcia Clark at the end of the OJ Simpson trial. You know. So just listen. Understand, when we discussed this stuff, and we discussed stuff weekly, it's phenomenal to me. How? We're still spinning in this stuff the way that the truth is all out there, just like you know, last night, I talked to some of the guys from serious that were down at the at the rally that President Trump had, and they said that the news the local news was reporting that it was almost a full crowd. And they had filmed earlier before the whole crowd got there. And they said they had never seen a rally like this ever that it was so packed and so full, and that's exactly the same way that Moeller and all the rest of these people work is that they, they present an image that they can create they can use the media's and echo chamber to do that. And again, it's, it's all wise or it's all miss truce that are fabricated, and then given wait through media Danielle. I'm going to be ignored that Malar is, is somehow not patriot. This is somebody who should country with incredible on and who put out a report. And then she three clearly wasn't gonna talk about her again. This is not somebody who's out there in the media trying to get famous trying to get an with. And I, I really do think that somebody who is this country numerous examples in his history. He's unimpeachable. I don't think it's fair to go off to him. I also wait a minute. Why they've Muller? Why couldn't they find one Republican? Why would you hire you're an attorney? Why if you're investigating one candidate? Why would you hire the lawyer another presidential candidate GD Ray once represented the Clinton foundation? And why would you hire your pit bull? A guy by the name of Andrew Weisman Sydney Powell points out has been prone to use or not use scope attorney evidence overturn nine zero in the supreme court, tens of thousands of jobs lost that in the accounting issues. Enron recounting. And then we had four Merrill executives put in jail for a year that was overturned by the fifth circuit, and you tell and then struck and page on top of it. And now we're hearing that it wasn't mother got rid of struck in page, but he did have time to clean their phones and send them back to the manufacturer to get him cleaned. Now, you're telling thanks. I agree that, what's, what struck on page seed, overtakes nieces was not appropriate to agents who were investigating the president. But why you put it. Nobody who works on anything related to government can ever have you about anything political people are freed the freedom of speech, right. Actually, to make donations to political parties. Maybe some of the Democrats, but it's not a reason to speak or, or accused them of him how being corrupt and the way that report came out and basically Muller should be President Trump's based friend because he did not have any finding of collusion. He did not have any finding of obstruction. He would not make that decision. He pasta congress. We disagree over with the attorney general should have made it to the end of this result in huge investigation that the president is actually no longer under a cra- under a cloud. And so I think frankly, the president should be thrilled. It wrote Mollet didn't take advice. The purchase didn't try to make himself famous and actually came to find that I think that affects them a little John. Jonathan I don't I don't think that you can say that Muller, didn't it said he couldn't because there was nothing there, but I'm gonna ask you Danielle if you're an attorney, and you do twenty years of services, and attorney flawless, service ethical service, and then you go out and you've lying court, and you're caught you're going to be considered at that point in time in time and space, you are a corrupt attorney and Robert Mueller. He would be despised for you're. Yeah. Sure. And regardless of what, you know, Muller's past history. I look at the same thing when I looked at John McCain past history, is something that we give honored, you know, four say, thank you for that service, but it doesn't mean that the person is autumn actually going to be honorable now and went Muller did in the way that he ran that it's investigation was from an investigator standpoint completely skewed with people from the left and not set up for a clear and open and unbiased investigation from the very start. Even when you don't count the manufactured evidence and echo chamber in the media, you have to look at who he set up to the investigation. It was not an unbiased group of people, it was a very biased group of people, some of whom were actually involved in the creation of that dossier. And so when you look at his service now it's tank, period. You know, I don't agree. I have no reason I have to understand or believe that the lawyers any agents and analysts, I don't hundreds of people right from across government, who was on this, and the idea that they're all somehow corrupt. Let me let me say this. There could be a thousand investigators, but it doesn't matter if the people who are running the investigation are corrupt. It doesn't matter. And I don't I don't agree that just because you have a political persuasion, or political belief that you're corrupt. I don't buy it did their job in put politics investigation. It's corrupted. You're never gonna find an oppostion. He doesn't have a political view where are you gonna find lawyers ages to heaven? Oh, you saying, he couldn't find one Republican donor. Rarely not one. What about the parents of impropriety? What about the appearance of corruption? How do you have? Investigations and loan applications but not a dirty Russian dossier whose own. Says he can't verify but then it's used by on Trump and on foreign soil. We have others fives, including blonde bombshells, brought in by an to go after Sam Clovis, and popadopoulos and Carter page. And really, I mean, none of this sounds extraordinary to you worthy of, of the investigation into Russian interference that, by the way, Devon newness warned about in twenty fourteen and Biden. Obama never listened to so couple of things to say and Connecticut should be the US attorney excuse me. Connecticut is getting the investigated. We have the g Mr. harlot who's investigating. What about the media this light to us for two and a half years? What about the media that has breathlessly hysterically reported liable to lie, anonymous source after anonymous source suggesting that Trump was guilty of even treasonous Brennan says, and now we discover? The fact that no that never happened. But the only person that used Russian lies in the campaign to spy on the other campaign was Hillary Clinton, who we also know violated the espionage act, and we also know we care about obstruction when she has subpoenaed emails, you're a lawyer, Danielle, if I have a thirty three thousand subpoenaed, emails, and I delete them and I clean my hard drive with something called bleach, nobody ever heard of it before. And then I take I have I have Linda go out with a hammer, and bust up all my devices and removed by sim cards. Would you say that? I'm guilty of obstruction with the intent to destroy the evidence of an underlying crime. His the different question. I don't want the difference. Hillary Clinton was interviewed by the FBI, and they did not determine that, she intended for the. so the sort of is the difference in the worst that would happen when you destroy documents in a court case if you don't do it intentionally it was a an ed boo finding against two which basically means the purpose of the jury is told probably bad stuff in there and you get that kind of on your you have that disadvantage the jury is told that the documents gone but you can assume that they were bad for years she don't haven't seen and she she showed up for an interview with the b._i. if you can't use me she showed up with two other people that never happens and by the way they had already written or exoneration months earlier so i'm not buying that that was a real investigation and even struck him page laughed about it being a phony investigation to that loretta lynch they say had the fix from the get-go Let me let me say this when it comes to Daniel knows this, if she was going to go to court and representing your client and you judge. And the judge in the prosecution and everybody on the prosecutor side were close confidants, and they were able to, to extremely pick people who had their ideology, you would be looking at this, and asking for the trial to be set somewhere else, because and under another judge, and another prosecutor because that's an unfair court, and it's the same thing here when people are handpicked by molar, because of their political ideologies, and they take people in interview with multiple people who were also going to be subpoenaed, and interviewed, it makes no sense. If you have to give I have to give Jonathan last word, I know that upsets Danielle, we usually give her the less for. But anyway, thank you for being with us. "A voluntary agencies known as they call them vote lags because well, it's the federal government, and they come up with weird acronyms for everything. But a voluntary agency a church groups other community groups who then contract with the State Department to take care of and take custodianship for lack of a better word of a refugee seeking political asylum before they can get their hearings in the case of Minneapolis, huge organizations there ended up taking in all these smallest you ever wonder why did these Somalis from east Africa end up in freezing cold, Minneapolis? It's because the federal government sent them there. That's what they do. Don't you? Remember when the unaccompanied minors din twenty fourteen twenty fifteen in the final days of the Obama administration, the the young Honduras, and El Salvador's who were coming in without parents. Crossing the border. They put them in cages, they're the Obama administration did eventually they stuck them on planes. They flown here. Prince George's county and Montgomery County. And Fairfax county are three the counties that had some of the highest percentage of. Again, these unaccompanied minor refugees they were flown here in this area. I think they need to bring more bring more President Trump should do it. Because we have said that we want to give them sanctuary are up. Our elected officials say that they're good that we should continue to welcome more of them. They should camp out right in front of Kamala Harris house in California. Jonathan in the district. John Jonathan DC has been very adamant about not not working with ice and bringing in as many illegals as possible. I guess Jonathan. Hey, Larry how you doing today? We could go ahead and do it send him to California to sanctuary state of America right after the day after we cut federal funding to the state. But wait, why should California get all the fun? These these people who are coming in here illegally. They just want a better life, and they are the fabric of our nation. Our nation would be destroyed without them. Why should California get all of this benefit to shouldn't? We get some here. Larry. California because the state, and then you know, what's that still? We'll trickle down. Yeah. Our Jonathan but understand here in Maryland. The attorney general is actually suing the federal government to keep them from deporting people who are in this country illegally. I think Maryland should be rewarded for their wonderful efforts. And they should be on the list to a pretty high up on the list. What do you think Maryland in front Royal you're next up on WFAN? Hello marilyn. Hi. Hi. Hi. What do you think? I think the Democrats know exactly what they do. And they're like, they're really like a bunch of spoiled rotten little kids. They're trying to get away with whatever they can. They know they're lying and they're looking at you lying right here face. And and thinking that you believe in them. And why if I don't understand why they want them in this country and another thing what does that say about the democrat when they're trying to bring criminals. Lawmakers. Them in their efforts. They don't wanna make a law that will fix this problem. They went into nine. Remember, the whole argument we had about whether this was a crisis or not. Well, suddenly Nancy Pelosi is acting like it's going to be a crisis. If they actually end up on her front yard, if they're in her neighbor now, suddenly it's a crisis. They don't wanna make laws to fix the problem. And they don't want to enforce the laws that congress has already put on the books. That's everything you need to know. And it took President Trump to actually say, hey, let's do this Ron in the district. You're next up here on WFAN. Hello, ron. Hi, larry. I totally agree with you. Jack couldn't agree are stronger. If President Trump is going to do this, please don't forget spring valley turned to someone else mansions into second eight houses and load them up with millions of of them all around President Obama's house vote them up over there. Let's get the news now at six thirty from Joe Bartlett. Good morning, Joe. Good morning, Michael. The treasurer of a charity for NYPD officers killed in the line of duty accused of stealing more than four hundred thousand dollars from the charity. Neighbors of the suspect Lorraine Shanley, obviously, you're in shock just crazy that people will actually do I really feel bad for the other people, you know, survivors of the shield that this happened to you know. Right. Took the money from the survivors of the shield charity to buy things like Barbara Streisand. We're not there yet we're making progress, but we have a ways to go. Now. Do we have congestion pricing passing in Albany? Maybe not it seemed like a done deal once mayor de Blasio and governor Cuomo came together, but time is running out. The Blasio says he's not worried, but there is a sense of urgency to get this done as part of the state budget, which is due at the end of the month. Some state lawmakers from outside the city though, have complained they're not benefiting from the money that would be generated by congestion pricing. They want their their they want their hands out. They want to be greased. Upstate wasn't. Rochester or buffalo, particularly these are the Hudson valley guys who represent the Hudson valley their constituents are going to be paying. Okay. But they don't get anything. But there are enough of those to squash the deal so far. Yeah. Got some long islanders who will also question that. So. They want a little discount. If you pay the issue is if you come across the GW bridge jersey, although who cares about New Jersey and this debate, right? About New Jersey anything. But I mean, the thing is you should get a break on the GW bridge. Absolutely. Should all right buzz in Washington that special counsel, Robert Muller issue? When are you already mocking this thing because you don't like what's going to be in it? Right. That's what it is. You're trying to minimize it. Run it down before it comes out. So he's doing well. The White House is ready with a response. Of course. Yeah. They've been working on it for months. They don't know. What's in it? But they are gonna respond your buddy, Jonathan I think they do know what's in it. But anyway, John Jonathan Karl your buddy says sources have told him not to expect any more indictments. "And then if you look at all the comments, it's every terrible rude main thing, and it's because they haven't done this before. But I'm saying like either your model needs to be compensated more because mentally reading shit comments about you sucks sharing or you need to get on Instagram and start defending your models. One or the other because it's great that you're making changes for inclusivity like that's beautiful, but you can't throw them to the loan. No. And it's bad, and they just expect Well I- soom they expect because I'm not seeing anything being done. They should just take it like almost feeling of like, well, you're lucky to be included. Right. Yeah. Actually, people are realizing that like you've trained your audience to hate this type of person back because you've never showed them before co pay me more or get on here making a whole segment of defending me. Like, oh my God. I've never even thought of it that way. That's they should paying one hundred percent and emotion stacks. Yeah. I like, I really just learned something. I know right. Hey, so into that idea compensate me for my sadness, honestly or compensation for like emotional labor. Exactly. Do you like modify stuff for make your own? You have to get really creative. If you're not like a standard right size. And that goes for everyone. I cropped almost every sweater that. I get. Yeah. Like even wearing things even trying to find things that are bigger like oversized is a thing. Like if you're plus size. I'm trying to find an over sized thing. Like the fuck nobody's making that stuff. So I don't know there. There are a whole bunch of modifications that I do like on the norm, which I think, thankfully, I don't know where I got personal style from. But it just comes with whatever I do. Well, that's what's great. Is that your then showing people how to do that? Yeah. So that's like so I like me like, I'm not fashioned. Does not come easy to me. Like, I don't I can't like easily think of solutions or things and modifying. So like to see how you're doing it. And I'm sure is like, so helpful. Trans are coming back that me and Alison should get on top of right now. Okay. This is what I think. One hundred percent animal prints got it. Okay. I'm yeah. I'm right now animal prints, whether that's like tiger print cow leopard cheetah, blah, blah, blah, blah, all that. I always think clashing power clashing Howard clashing K really with that is. Okay. So like, I'm on hates it. I've worn like tiger striped shorts with a leopard print shirt. And a tiger striped shirt that didn't match the shorts like mixing prints on prints on Princeton that can go just beyond your florals in strifes because that's the that's the go-to one. But you can power clash with like MO way more than just florals stripes or polka dots and stripes like get that animal print in their get. I don't know anything even florals with animal prints. Just anything weird the uglier. It is the more interesting. It is. I think I say it's so ugly that it's killed. I love that. So are you reading down so ugly? It's cute. Right. That to yourself so ugly. It's cute. Okay. Next tattoo. Got it. So I think drag I think like that also is a thing for twenty nine thousand nine men in heels for sure and suits men in skirts. It's a very drudge in his time. It's a time where we're like the general public is going to be really confused levels on a lot of levels. So that's that's how I like him. Jonathan exactly which I think is probably because he's so available to a large audience probably the same for other people in the, you know, you're talking about like young people in the mid west who might not have access to this type of thing the way that like you would see in LA or New York are probably like, oh, yeah..

"And I just think the like romance of some fake independent candidacy as a reason to get lots of play is annoying and not deserve it. I think he would get the attention. But only for one beat and that's why you know, the question. I'd asked is okay. You're. All this grief from Democrats. But you've got your moment. So here's your moment. What's your big idea in his David said, you know, what he thought thing? Right. So that seems to me to be, you know, obviously, a huge flaw to miss your grand opening, you know, especially for somebody who arguably could have a whole set of skills. I mean, Starbucks, whatever you may think about the quality their coffee has been an extraordinary success. Global success story for somebody who started living in the projects. He's got an amazing personal story. And he's created a brand in. I mean, he convinced people to take a drink that they took that they were drinking anyway and was normal part of their life to reorient their entire life the shape of the neighborhoods. They live in and the music. They listen to the kind of food they eat all based on his theories and his so he has rewired American life and global life. You could argue so he's got some skill somewhere. And you could imagine somebody saying, I basically. To do a version of that with politics, and then actually have fought through things to create a set of ideas that might be attractive and appealing to people. But he he didn't really use that in his opening moment. And if he can't apply that in this crucial moment, it seems to me that he's just undermined if there was a rationale for his candidacy. He's just underminded by not knowing how to seize his opening gambit. So this Schultz's actually announcement in the and the foof around it and the your tation around. It actually has has revealed to things to me which were were new which were exciting one and John Jonathan Chait in New York magazine, hit on this in particular is that I had not recognized until until the shots announcement that there is no constituency for social liberalism tied to fiscal conservatism. There are basically no voters in that quadrant. Except for me. It's like me people like me, Michael Bloomberg types. There's hardly anyone else. They're swing voters. That out for people. Well, so there are plenty of people in this country who are socially liberal and fiscally liberal. They are classic liberals leftists. They're plenty of people who are socially conservative, and fiscally conservative people who and those are your classic part of the right wing of American life people who are worried about marriage equality, and but also don't want the government out of their lives and concerned about second amendment rights. And where Trump did really well is this other quadrant, which is people who are socially conservative. But fiscally liberal people who want who rely on social security who rely on Medicare who lie on the protections of the state, but they tend to be rural, and they tend to be quite socially conservative churchgoers in Trump did incredibly Well Matt group, but there is no. But if you look at the map of there is nobody except a few, you know, rich white people in the north east. Obligate yourself. That's what I think. Yeah. The cella several Sela liberals. It's people who would who who who think? Yes. We what we need a limited more limited government. But of course, we, you know, we want immigrants we want marriage equality. We want, you know, people to to to have lots of dignity, and you know, we don't really care that much about guns. And so that, but that constituency is just trivial e small, but that is the one that shelters Amy narrowly at and it's the one that Bloomberg realized that there wasn't Bloomberg. As realized I can't win just by running to that constituency. I cut that. And then so Bloomberg kind of gave up on this Mirage of an independent candidacy. So that's one realization can we stop there because I lent unpack that a little bit. Then can you go onto your second unsure because I was reading a column or something by David from saying these are really important voters. Like, they're the ones who swung various congressional races in Virginia. Well, like, yeah. I mean, if you're just trying to win congress from a particular district that has a lot of. Wealthy people in it who take the Acela, then that looks like a real constituency, but nationally speaking it's really not..

"Vacations about why Soviet special operators needed to raid? The presidential palace in Kabul at Christmas and nine hundred seventy nine I mean, nobody thinks Russia invading Afghanistan in one thousand nine hundred ninety nine was a good move. Yeah. They had to do that. Because of the terrorism. It's just it's not what happened and there is nowhere in America. Nowhere where President Trump might have picked up this idea. But there is one place not in America. Next month, the United Russia party of which is the party of Russian President, Vladimir Putin that party will sponsor an official resolution to rehabilitate this infamous part of the history of the Soviet Union. They will introduce a resolution to make the Soviet invasion of Afghanistan. Retroactively, no longer a mistake. This new resolution on the thirtieth anniversary of the withdrawal of Afghan troops of rush of skews me of Soviet troops. From Afghanistan will call the invasion justified looking back at it now because of the threat of terrorism. That is the only place in nature with that idea. Even exists. President Putin's party and the communist party in Russia who are jointly supporting that resolution to rehabilitate the whole idea of the Soviet Union. Waging a war enough ghanistan. That's the only place in nature that idea exists in the Kremlin, and it just came out of our presidents mouth in this country in the cabinet room. Where he brought it up unprompted apropos of nothing. Where is the president getting this stuff? It is possible that contrary to popular perceptions. He is a wide reaching reader of what you, and I might think of as obscure or even picky, you international conflicts and historical inflection points in Eurasian history. Maybe. Or someone is stovepipe ING the stuff into the president's ears. So it pops out of his mouth at the most unexpected times. What do we do with that? Joining us now is Michael McFaul. Former US ambassador to Russia under President Obama, Mr. ambassador. It's real pleasure to have you here tonight. Thank you for being here. Sure. Thanks for having me. Happy new. You're happy new year. You are a Russian expert. And I am not. And it is my perception as I just explained that the view that the Soviet Union had to invade Afghanistan because there there was a threat of terrorism. And it was actually a good move. And it is my perception that that is an idea that doesn't exist in nature in the United States that there isn't anybody who has spouses that you is that true. To the best of my knowledge, Rachel that is correct. But I have to say what an incredible team you have to have found where it does exist in HR because I didn't know what you just reported about the United Russia resolution coming. That's someone incredible investigative work. Eight congratulations. No, actually, let me let me give credit where credit is due there. John Jonathan Chait, New York magazine wrote about this because a lot of MIR Murtza who, you know, Soviet dissident guy who was almost died for being a dissident in Putin's Russia. He wrote a piece about it in the first week of December for the Washington Post's world politics section saying, hey, you should know that Russia's trying to revise this part of history. Karen Mertz that reported it Jonathan Chait picked it up. Steve Bannon picked it up for our staff. And that's the reason I'm able to bring it. But it is that shows you just obscure it's not the sort of thing the president would stumble upon in his everyday reading. Of course. I mean, of course, I mean, it's remarkable. I mean, just to be clear everything he said was falls about what happened and caused -ality here. The Soviets did not invade Afghanistan to stop terrorism as an educator. Just embarrasses me when I hear the president say things like that. But to your point it is striking that he does pick up on these very strange ideas in conversations with leaders, certainly Vladimir Putin. I know because I remember an idea that Putin floated to him last July when he said, wouldn't it be a great idea to Tara gate a bunch of Americans in response to the the Muller indictment. If you remember that story, and, you know, President Trump came out and said, that's a great idea. So there's a pattern here of him picking up these very strange ideas from people like Putin, and then stating them as if there are facts, and you were one of the Americans who President Putin. I. American. So that one I caught that one caught my attention. I'll leave me..
