Bongino Bans 22 Republicans Who Voted Against Jim Jordan From Show
"And you got John James in Michigan. And Jim, I just want you, I'm dead serious about this. I'm announcing this on the air. Mike, you too, because, you know, you're a Spock to Captain Kirk there, so you're in charge a lot too. I'm not kidding about this. This is not a joke. Those that 22 voted against Jordan yesterday, they're banned from the show. James, all of them. I don't care. They're not coming back on my show. I'm not interested. You know who you are, by the way. Some of those 22 reached out. Hey, can we come on the show? We need to get elected. Don't, don't even, don't waste your time. I'm not joking around about this. Do not reach out. Don't waste your time. We'll embarrass you if you do. You showed your true colors. I disagree with them on a lot of stuff, but I've had people on my show. I've asked my people, you all are out. Don't even bother. You may not care. That's fine. You know, we good. We both agree. I don't want you. You don't want me, but I know a couple people on that list who've reached out multiple trying times to get on. You're not coming on the show ever again because we have a rule on the show, which is what? No squishes. And you're a fish,

Why Did Republicans Oust Kevin McCarthy Without a Plan?
"Logic always get you through the day. And when I asked a bunch of people what the plan was to get rid of Kevin McCarthy to get a more conservative speaker, nobody had one. All they kept telling me was no, no, there's a plan. What is it? I Here's why this thing went down in flames. Because, folks, you've got a bunch of people in Congress, Carlos Jimenez, John James, Marianne Meeks Miller, who really don't care about you at all. I would bet upward of 80 % of good four by four voting Republicans have voted in the last four primaries and general elections. I can guarantee you probably about 70 % of people would be happy with or very happy with or would at least support Jim Jordan as speaker. It's about 70 % of the voting Republican Party. They like Jim Jordan. He's fought for good Republican stuff. You know, speaker's a different role. % always going to have to be a little more of a deal maker, probably not his comfort zone, but I'm willing to take a shot. They were convinced otherwise that you don't matter, that any attempt to reach out to them to sway their decision, even though their title is literally representative, that that was coercion and they started whining and griping and moaning on Twitter. Don Bacon, the worst of all. Don Bacon should. There's no way this guy, no way this guy should continue in that seat. Don Bacon went to CNN and everything he could to sabotage the effort to get a speaker.

See back to the Hearing Jesus podcast. I'm your host, Rachel Grohl. Today we are in Matthew chapter 10. And if you're just joining us, we are working our way through an introduction to the gospels, where we're going little by little. And we're just talking about the history, the culture, we're gaining an understanding of how Matthew's original audience, which was a Jewish audience, how they would have heard this information. And the hope is that with this understanding, you will recognize the character and nature of God that is revealed through his word. If you are someone that wants to dive a little bit deeper, I just want to make you aware that we have additional resources. You can go to our Patreon page, which is linked in the show notes. And there we have journaling prompts every day. We do journaling prompts that help you process information. And then we also have family discussion guides. So if you have kids, and you're listening to the Hearing Jesus for Kids podcast, it couples that information so that you guys can discuss it maybe at the dinner table or as part of your family devotions. Again, they're just extra resources to help you and your family grow together in your relationship with the Lord. If you have additional questions, you can always schedule some life coaching or spiritual direction with me. You go to she hears .org for more information on that. And so we're in Matthew chapter 10. Starting at verse one today, I'm reading from the New Living Translation. It says, Jesus called his 12 disciples together and gave them authority to cast out evil spirits and to heal every kind of disease and illness. Here are the names of the 12 apostles. First, Simon, also called Peter, and then Andrew, Peter's brother, James, son of Zebedee, John, James' brother, Philip, Bartholomew, Thomas, Matthew, the tax collector, James, son of Alphaeus, Thaddeus, Simon the Zealot, Judas Iscariot, who later betrayed him. Jesus sent out the 12 apostles with these instructions. Don't go to the Gentiles or the Samaritans, but only to the people of Israel, God's lost sheep. Now I'm actually going to stop right there. We're going to continue with this passage tomorrow, but I want to stop right there because there's a lot that's packed in here that I want to make sure that we don't miss. First, I don't know if you're like me, but I always had the question of why 12? Why was there only 12? Or why were there so many? Why not six? But I want to make sure that we understand that that number 12 was intentional on the part of Jesus. See, Jesus was creating more than this rabbi -disciple model that we saw so often in that timeframe. What he was doing is taking this number 12 as a representation of the restoration of Israel, and that was promised in this messianic age. I want to read for you Isaiah 11, verses 11 through 12 from the Old Testament. It says, In that day, the Lord will reach out his hand a second time to reclaim the surviving remnant of people from Assyria, from Lower Egypt, from Upper Egypt, from Kush, from Elam, from Babylonia, from Hamath, and from the islands of the Mediterranean. He will raise a banner for the nations and gather the exiles of Israel. He will assemble the scattered people of Judah from the fourth quarters of the earth. See, what Jesus was doing was representing the 12 tribes of Israel that had been scattered all over the world, and the representation of the 12 was this idea that the 12 are going to now bring these exiled nations, these exiled remnant of Israel back. And so with the arrival of the kingdom of heaven with Jesus, it is time to gather Israel's lost sheep. In verse 5, it says, Jesus sent out the 12 apostles with these instructions. Don't go to the Gentiles or the Samaritans, but only to the people of Israel, God's lost sheep. Well, that might bring you questions like, hey, I thought this was a message for everybody. It is. But remember, it's first to the Jew, then to the Gentile. What he's doing is he is gathering these scattered people groups from all over the place and bringing them back. And so in Matthew, what we're learning is there is a universal scope of God's mission, and we're going to see that come to fruition after the resurrection. So in the closing words of this gospel, at the very end of the book of Matthew, what we'll learn is where he says, go and make disciples of all nations. And so it's a clear directive for Jesus's followers to go to Judea, Samaria, and the ends of the earth. But essentially, this is a message that starts with Jews, which are God's chosen people. And again, it reveals God's heart for his people. And so sending these 12 out, again, represents these 12 tribes. And, you know, there were other people groups that also had that same model, the Dead Sea Scroll people that that were in the wilderness there, they did that as well, because they believe that their group was the true obedient remnant of Israel. But it's really this representation of this sorrow that Israel has been carrying of their people groups being scattered everywhere, and now they're going to be unified and brought back because of Jesus. So the ancient sources that list the names of the disciples, I want to make sure that we recognize that sometimes there could be some discrepancies when you look across the other gospel writers. But the reason for that is because a lot of times people were called by more than one name, and sometimes they were called by their title or their job. So when we see it talks about like Simon the Zealot, for instance, well, sometimes he would be called a Canaanian because that's an Aramaic word for zealot. Or sometimes that word zealot is just translated as the zealot one. So sometimes that title might even be left off. But the reason for that is different writers have different interpretations of who that person is. And so if somebody were to talk about me, somebody might say, oh, Rachel, the host of the podcast, the Hearing Jesus podcast, and somebody else might say, oh, Rachel, the author of the She Hears Bible study. And then somebody else might say, oh, Rachel, the missionary. Those are all truth. Somebody might say, Rachel, the wife of Tim or the mother of Georgia. That's all the same thing. It's all describing me. But depending on the person that you're talking to, they might have a different description based on our relationship. And so if you see when we're going through these gospels and you see a slightly different name, that's typically what's happening there. The other thing I want to point out is that while we understand the incredible work that the disciples, the apostles did, we don't want to idealize them. We need to remember that these were men just like any other man or woman that is following Jesus and is used by Jesus. And we find that they're not much different from you or me. Now what the Bible does is it takes a look at ordinary people that were used by an extraordinary God to do extraordinary things, but very much in a similar way to what God calls you and me to do. It's the same thing for them. These were people that kind of came from regular jobs and regular lives and God transformed their lives, which means he can transform our lives as well. I want to go through real quick each of these disciples just to kind of show you that it's not like these people are from some extraordinary line or can't be measured up to because they're every day normal people.

John James Lays a Great Agenda, But Attacks 20 Dissenting Republicans
"Things. John James, he's the congressman elect from Michigan, one of the finest outcomes of the November 2022 election was when John James won, he, of course, is all on board with Kevin McCarthy, very impressive speech yesterday on the floor, and I give him credit. Here's what he sounded like. We will counter the socialist movement of envy and confiscation with a conservative movement of access and opportunity. We will stand on the right side of history again. We will end the growth of government and we will stop 87 thousand new IRS agents from picking through your pocketbooks. We will secure our energy independence. We will ban the sale of petroleum from our strategic reserves to China. We'll establish a bipartisan select committee specifically to keep our eye on the ball in China. We'll address the crisis of the border. That's killing Americans by the day and improve both our safety and our nation and our dignity for those who come here in search of a better life for impressive congressman elect from Michigan and good for him. Laying out the Republican agenda as he should. And then, of course, he talks about the 20. We're still stuck at the starting block. The American people have told us by putting a Republican majority here that they want Republicans to lead and they want a government that works and doesn't embarrass them and we are failing on both missions that must change today. Here we go. I mean, come on. Congressman? Nobody's been embarrassed. You know what's embarrassing? Not acknowledging the popularity of these 20 Republicans.

John James of 'Dynasty' Fame Stars as President Biden in Biopic ‘My Son Hunter’
"I am getting back to this fascinating interview with fela MacDonald. He's one of the producers of my son hunter, my son hunter dot com is where you go to get more information on the film. It is about the Hunter Biden laptop and the unfortunate disclosures that we find out from mister young mister Biden himself. You know what I like? And again, welcome back. I love the fact that you've got John James of dynasty playing Joe Biden. I like to call him uncle Joe. Some people call him President Biden. But because when I looked at John James, I looked him up recently because he's an older gentleman, of course, he's the right age, but he actually does look a little like Joe Biden. Yeah. And where do you see what we did with him with makeup and the wonderful Serbian makeup artists? I mean, he grew into the role. It was amazing. He just became Joe Biden over the course of making the movie. Even to the extent of walking into a glass door on his way into a restaurant on the weekend when we were making a movie. He said it was his greatest piece of mathematics ever. Yeah, he walked into a glass door and spent Saturday evening in the Serbian ER room. Not a great place to be actually any E or R on a Saturday night anywhere in the world is not a good place to be Serbia. It's got its own challenges. So you just need a few stitches, but that he was taking the Joe Biden the stumbling bumbling Joe Biden rule so seriously walking through a glass door. So that was not part of the movie. That's one of those outtakes, right? Yes. Yes, very much. And he was taken out by the glass door. He was taken out by the glass

"The fact that you've now got sanjay not greenwood. Tuck in just one bassac on the right so that can be this massive void of space. That's why you should improve and should win more points those games. i think this season teddy. What's your thoughts on the on the dynamic. I do like the idea behind it will. I'm still mulling over seeing packages. Play that that those. It's almost like or maybe you already have enough pace and maybe playing poke give you another kind of a different facet in that attack. Enroll and still get bruno in. I don't know I'd like super super super star. Hold him it field to maybe explore further teddy thoughts. I did watch all of our highlights. I said thought popa looked brilliant fernandez which is one of them wanna forces say that night did look a class apart untold leads to shreds. I think if john james starts more than five league games this year is a robbery. Because when you've got sunshine cream russia's he's just knobs the level to all the question to you really will i guess would be. That's can you in the league. If you've got kinda half it safe. Oil cavani and mason agreement is your two options up front to stroke is more than city here but no i think probably not against city in chelsea i think they they are the clubs that ahead of united this season at this stage. Sorry georgia's we're gonna finish below us. But i think The great thing about this team is at the minute. There's a low options. And i'm not saying that there's an eleven. I'm selecting at the minute. I'm saying these are different plans for different games. Look at what does look at. What pap does to great success. Did it as well. You have to have multiple plans different opposition. And i think the fact that you have options attack now is really important. And it's not like one of author front freeze injured. We have to bring in. Don james james sanjay not playing. But we're gonna play mason ingredient on the right with cavani respite or anthony and that kind of thing. Vanderbeek says he neuronal. Yeah he plays what twenty to twenty five games in. I think number ten be effective and a really link-up which and sancho the fact that he kinda got impassable train and his bulked up thinks shows how hardy wants to work after an injury that ruled him out of the year as thousand important and i think he also get some minutes eight against weaker opposition as well. But a little bit live by you kind of..

"Advantage anymore. They tease their fans with aaron rodgers. All the off-season not even close wonder. Will they have done something in the draft. Would they have taken just fields if they didn't think they can get rogers. Yep they'd intake fields right at nine starting quarterbacks over the last five years bridgewater would be ten if he sees a game and he probably will cause you have drew lock fifty seven percent passer wars completion percentage in the league You got teddy to gloves for a six round. Pick which pretty good thirty two turnovers. I in the league they lose lindsay and john james again bridgewater like a said williams was a draft pick from north carolina. Maybe he could know there could be a little spark. Cortlandt sutton back from injury On defense i get kyle fuller all darby so the some corners patrick sir towns if i pick You know they out will allow thirty one points. Berg i get it. Von miller was out right so that that really says it all denver why they allowed thirty one points a game over the last eleven weeks. They signed this. Justin simmons for sixty one million dollars I have them at eight. I'm not doing it again. I can't take him over. I think i bet three on. There's and i think. I have the raiders of my only over in this The vision i had them at eight wins area. I think they lose to your giants. I think they lose at jacksonville. Then have them winning three in a row which is pretty pretty generous may and then just you know mostly losses the rest of the game. What halford denver. yeah i think. Eight and a half is too many to the schedule. Isn't that bad but still eight and a half as high a you mental twenty-fifth points against On defense last year games. Eleven games up twenty six points or more Twenty four in total offense and quarterback issues even with bridgewater added. I don't know how much how great he can be. In terms of running this offense. He can manage games. But i don't know about putting up points and their defense again soft last year. Just can't see either these guys either lock or bridgewater getting it done in the fourth quarter when it matters and games to get ws i just think eight and a half to high seven maybe eight. We all are on the under here. I will point out there extra three games because now you have extra three games you don't you don't play the opposite division. Play the division your own division jets. Detroit and at jacksonville doesn't get easier for a team than that on. I think for your exter- three games but Bri you're on the under as well. Yes it's weird i. I'm glad you finally took the under on this team. I feel like they set this now. They win the super weird. It's like i felt like two months ago. They set this at eight. And a half and i feel like this should have come down but it still stayed at at eight and a half even not knowing. Qvc situation. but there's i mean there's talent on this team. There's talent on defenses talent and skill position But i don't know i i would entrust vic vic fangio unlock or bridgewater here. Fangio is going to be one of those coaches on the hot seat. And i this. Qb situation. i think they're i mean that's gonna cost them. I'm actually you brought it up. Though i mean they really should you know. They had an opportunity to draft. They had an opportunity to draft one. Or two of those quarterbacks. I love to know if they really thought they were getting. Rogers i wanna know like all right. It's a it's acceptable if that's what they thought Otherwise i don't feel like bringing teddy bridgewater finding a couple. Yeah but i don't know what they were thinking you know they gave. They gave away games last year. The you know. The final game against the raiders. Yeah they they gave it away. They also got blown out to the raiders last year. Again lose to the raiders last year. Get blown out. Same quarterback same coach. Two games better in the win win. Total predictions Laura lack missed a ton of throws last year. I mean he was definitely One of the most frustrating quarterbacks if you were a broncos fan So yeah i think yeah eight and a half this. Yeah this number should be like seven and a half's too high. I have ate That that's all do eight nine That's probably too generous to the league doesn't trust and they have one game one. Prime time game. Thursday night. At cleveland bollocking. Trust them either yet. No this is my third straight under here for this division sheets over This this might be the hardest one for me because i do like their pieces. I like judy I think he's gonna break out year I like sought now like thought their tight end. I think Look out there running back situation. Fancy wise melvin. Gordon ross freeman and like we mentioned devante roy williams is going to end up being the guy there but again. It's it's kind of uncertain so that doesn't help the quarterback right To not may be have a threat like The play action that they like to throw off of as much as you can't and but bottom line like we've already said it really comes down to the quarterback play here. I'm not a fan of of either. These guys i think these guys are adequate But adequate designed get you over. Eight and a half. When's i have the mets six wins going into their last three games. This where it gets interesting Kosdaq last three games are home. Verse detroit home versus. Cincinnati and at a raiders And they'd have to win all three of those and they'll be capable of doing it But the bronx. I just don't i don't think they're ever good enough to win three games in a row. I don't see it happening. I think they get to seven possibly eight year and that will be there ceiling I just i you know. Now that we're all really off the broncos. Maybe this is the year they do it. But i don't see it happening. Mud sold on v. Fangio as their coach either. But.

"High hopes for either of those guys. I'll put it that way Gambling was a guy that i liked coming out when he was initially drafted versatility. But i think maybe he's been that versatility has been overused. A little bit is it. Seems like he can't really find a position. Is that think if i'm not mistaken. He's kind of floated around on the played all all over the place But we'll see how out i think. Probably fleming's maybe. Just as good a shot as bobby massey to the majority of snaps the The broncos are in a tough spot at right. Tackle those guys are for a reason and it was so late in the process. When john james got hurt in so you know. That's that's been something that the broncos fans criticize the front office or is that we've kind of known for the last two years the john james's injury prone we don't have a lot of tackle deaf behind him and they've asked on tackles in the draft and he came back to bite them this year. And so we'll see what happens. Hopefully they can get some meaningful snaps out of either mass. Your fleming at the right tackle position but if not they're going to be in trouble all i will tell i will tell you this in bronco fans this. I was actually happy a year ago. When the giants brought cam fleming into new york because for five or six years the first portion of his career he was a very good swing. Tackle a little bit of right little bit left. I think he's dabbled guard a little bit. I think is best. Position is probably right tackle. But i think that what we discovered in new york is kind of what we feared was because nate sold her opted out andrew. Thomas i think the original plan was for andrew thomas to start his career at right tackle. Andrew thomas you know fourth overall pick went to left tackle. Kim fleming moved in as the starting right tackle. This was the first time in his six or seven year career. That i think he had started more than six games. In a season started all sixteen games in the results just weren't good. I think he's he's probably a guy where you if i'm a broncos fan. I probably hope he's not my starting right. Tackle week one because he's a hate to me. He's a good fill in. He's he's a real because he's a hard worker he's pro. He knows what he's doing. He's just not that physically gifted he can probably help a for a game or two but but the more he plays the more he'll get exposed so so. If if i was you guys i would be hoping that. That did bobby. Massey comes in and impresses. Yeah i think that's the prevailing sentiment right now particularly with the amount of games the bassey has.

"Will hear the O'Reilly update tomorrow morning at 10, 11 and 12 Noon on 8 60 am the answer. E. No. Sebastian. Well, listen to him. He's with us. Thank you, Mr President. Guys, come on, you know, cut. Okay. Stop it Now. I know it's always hard when I need this studio who's gonna be the guest host Jennifer Horn. Hardest working lady on radio can always reach out to her yesterday. We used Colonel Kay. And he ain't no rhino. Whoever wrote that in the comment stream on rumble, seriously read what he says he just raised. The question is Donald Trump the best man to run in 2024? Yeah, he is. I'm sorry. That's an empirical fact. I'll keep on packing. It will get your cause. Rick Annex, John, don't go anyway. But now we have to talk swamp. With the man who knows that the best the Washington political editor for right bar dot com, the most consequential concerted website on the planet None other than mad. Boyle, Matt, Welcome back to America First. Dr Gorka is always a pleasure love being here. So there was a phrase associated with Richard Nixon when it came to the water. Great break in. When what did he know? And when did he know it? Why did you use that phrase with me In the break, Matt? Look, Joe Biden personally shut down a commission in an investigation that the Trump administration had launched that was being run from the State Department Undersecretary Pompeo into the origins of the Corona virus pandemic. Now this pandemic has reached Trillions of dollars of havoc upon the world just on the United States. Never mind the whole world over, but it's cost hundreds of thousands of lives we've seen Massive, you know, costs in terms of economic costs, and so on and so forth, And so we have every right to demand an answer as to where did it originate? If it actually did originate in nature than okay, Fine. I get it. The Chinese You know, uh, aren't as reason. They're so responsible, regardless of how this all shakes out there still responsible because they didn't take the proper measures at the beginning to contain this thing, But here's the thing if it was being if it was created in a lab, which, by the way, Dr Anthony Fauci is office at the end, I idea was funding. Through with our taxpayer dollars going. You got to be careful because he's such a tricky Dicky himself. He's such a Clinton east. What is the definition of is is remember. Oh, no. Oh, no, Senator Paul, you you completely have that wrong. We didn't find anything We have found. She's you funnel the money through a third party front organization, and Anthony Fauci does not deny taxpayer dollars go into this lab to research. Coronaviruses from bats. He doesn't deny that he just denies that it was gain of function research. Which is the theory as to the virus being human altered before it leaked out of the lab. But look, there's any number of possibilities. Is it possible that was man made and then deliberately leaked? Yeah. Is it possible that it week by accident after it was man made? Sure is it also possible that was net naturally forming and then they were studying it in the lab, and then it leaked that way. Sure, All of these things are possible and then also, it still is a possibility that it was. You know, it came from the white market. I get it that that's still out there as a possibility. We don't know because the Chinese Communist Party which is an opaque dictatorship. Has been hiding this information. We need transparency. We need massive investigation. And we had that investigation under President Trump. So the reason why I was saying, what did he know? And when did he know it is that Joe Biden the president, United States personally ordered Shut down the Trump Administration's investigation. Joe Biden himself just yesterday, as more facts have become available about this tried to open up a new investigation to try to cover up They s oh, Joe Biden himself the president. The United States is engaged in a cover up of the origins of this corona virus pandemic that's claimed hundreds of thousands of American lives. It's cost us trillions of our dollars, and it's cost millions of people around the world. And I mean it's gotta be tens of trillions of dollars of damage. This virus in this pandemic have caused the entire planet. So, um Joe Biden's cover out of the origins of the current A virus pandemic is going to be one of the biggest stories and the weeks months and years to come, and his decision T end that original investigation. Which he ordered as commander in chief. He ordered it. There's no the box stops with him. They can't blame someone else. It's on Hammett's on his desk personal, and you saw that from the White House yesterday when Biden himself was forced to issue a statement from the president that came out to the entire press corps. To try to clear the whole mess up. But I will say this I've noticed. They see change happened in American politics. I was talking to top Democrats can we? Can we stop there? Then use that as a cliffhanger? A T. See when my boil when my Boyle says he's noticed to see change. I want to know and I don't want to hit the post. At the end of this segment. We have got to talk about it in the full context in detail. So wherever you are, whatever you're doing, don't touch that dial will be back with Matt Boil, and then your calls. "A high level position. You look at Kelly Klein's credentials. She deserves the job like this. So one more No. One more team doing this. You know, hopefully more more teams do it, and then it will get to the point where it's not like. Wow. And the Broncos. You hope there comes a day to where the Broncos aren't praised for this online Except for Kelly, clients, credentials, right? You just hope for a time when hiring a female to high level position or hiring a minority. Isn't viewed as Wow. Great job. Good on you for doing that, like it Almost Has this connotation that they're taking some level of risk. In doing this. It's like no Executive. Director of football operations. She'll be, uh You know George Peyton's assistant like assistant GM is how I basically read this. But somebody who has Put in the time that deserves Promotion. And I guess good on the Broncos for Recognizing talent. I mean, that's what they should be praised for good job finding talented people. To surround yourself with 5 to 2987 to take your Thoughts on the hiring of Kelly Kline or Bronco is not given John James a dime. The Basketball Hall of Fame over the weekend. I'm not a big Basketball Hall of Fame guy. I've I've evolved into. I'm a bigger Hall of Fame guy, but still the Basketball Hall of Fame pushes it for me. But this class That went in. "To be on the same page and everybody needs to stick together, and he's obviously referring to the players. Association, everybody they're sticking together. What are the odds that Taking this kind of a stance will actually change things in the league. I I don't think it will I They collectively bargained for things, and they didn't collectively bargained for other things, and I don't think ownership is going to give ground on anything they didn't collectively bargained for. So I think staking a stand on these kinds of things is not really going to help the players at all. It's just the optics of it aren't great, especially in light of the John James situation. There's a lot of players that didn't agree with it in the first place. But went along with it to present a unified front. And you've got guys that have workout bonuses tied to coming in. And all this kind of stuff, so well. So why are those guys gonna give up money for something that you know, This is really a neutral game. You know when all said and done as far as Oh t a SCO and they are voluntary in most cases. What do you really doing? You supposed to do it Like when you show a Proteus, you showed up to your buddies to work out. Felt like you're out there in the heat into a daze. You know, it depends. It depends on where you are. Well, right, you and if you're in Miami, you're in Houston. You and some of these hot areas of the country. You are out there sweating it out, and the coaches know that You have to participate and give a certain effort. Oil. It won't count as a day. So it is it is it. You know, this is one of the hardest things to try to explain to the fan base because People have become so accustomed to the players just showing up for work when they don't have to be there that they think it's OK. You know, like, you know, when, when you go home from your normal job. Um, if it's Ah, it's a 9 to 5 or 8 to 5 job. You don't come back on the weekend and do that same job for, you know, a fit or 1/10 of the price, right? That's what the NFL is asking the players to do right and they've been getting that service out of the players. The players are finally saying, we don't want to do it anymore. It's a big deal, or we start to see more players. Start to Participate in O T A's again because of John James. I think just for the insurance portion. Oh, come in and lift just there, covered under the insurance just lift but not the whole Senate anymore. The rules on practices anymore changed so much. You could barely do any kind of practice. You can condition right? You can come in and lift and conditional, just lift lift condition, But it's that you can't go out there. Run plays. What's he conditioning is that was not what you want. James was doing when he got hurt at his place. And by the way you want James had been working out at the facility. He can't he went back to working out. His house is a show of solidarity with the rest of the players who had voted to do that, because he wanted to show solidarity with the rest of the team, And this is once again. This is up to the team to decide whether or not they pay a player or not. And certainly we've heard from Denver Bronco fans for you know, for the last couple of weeks in that the guy's only place 63 snaps. The Broncos shouldn't pay him. I'm starting to believe that's the way the Broncos are gonna go about this, But you do You think that that's bad for the legal for Do you agree? Do you agree, Ben? Because one of the things offered said, is that it puts the Broncos In a very negative life on negative light with players that potentially could come here is free Agents. Can you answer that on the other side? All right, we'll do that. It's big Alan Jo Jo, along with our K away bronchus and satyr, Benjamin Albright on K Away news radio trying to get.

"If it comes down to it in the last two games colefax last three games and you can like if you lose all three you sit at four and you're gonna play the mavericks if you win all three you move up to number three and you can play the lakers. If it were let's say it works out that way. I don't know if it will what are you doing. You lose yeah. I think so. Yeah avoid that. I don't wanna play the lakers. In the first round. Play the mavericks. I i think the nuggets can beat the lakers. i do. i'd rather not find out in the first round though because that's it then. This great year that jokers had and all the stuff we've talked about is like all we're going to all the national media which again we're all fighting the national media all the national me. He's gonna go say as oh they were good for one one round. They were good for the first round. So i don't know see you can't. There's bearded friend. Michael kirkpatrick i think's gonna fill in next tuesday. You can root for your teams to lose and still be a fan because you're rooting for the bigger picture. He doesn't believe that he believes in. The broncos straffed win as many games as possible even if they're meeting meaningless. I i look at this. And i'm with you. Colefax may be considered that if it comes down to those last two or three games. And it's between playing dallas or the or the lakers ee. You don't wanna play the lakers in the first round again. I think you can beat them. I really do. But i don't want to find out in that first round first advantage text nine seven four seven eight thousand nine hundred one. "A very high stakes game of chicken. Is the simplest Packers have to come to the realization he's not coming back and then therefore go get their best deal. Um, sort of. I think they already realized that, though, because this is the situation, despite not having been in the media, up until about a few days ago, has been going on for months. I can tell you that the Rams made an offer and try to try to go get him. There's some back channel conversations they had with him prior to trading for Matt Stafford on the Green Bay rebuffed it at that time Niners did to the Niners did the day before the traffic. The Rams did it before the Stafford deal, and so they've been trying to. They've been trying to get him and bring him in. For a while. The Packers have been flying out there trying to talk to him all this kind of stuff. I think as long as Brian good against is there, there's no way or Rogers comes back. This is just good against or is it Mark Murphy as well? I think that he's Personal animus is with Brian Good against. I think that would Mark Murphy could be patched up. And he had Murphy have had conversations between February and now, But I think that there's Animosity with more than one party, but the split or the hard sell is with good goods. What about John James and the Broncos? What do they do there? That's a tough situation, especially after he kind of he was working out at the Broncos facility. And then when the Players association decided to do this arbitrary, ot a boycott thing, Hey, went along with the team, even though he disagreed with it went home and started working out. And when you're working from off site, you're not covered under team insurance. So he wiped out five million and injury protections and 10 million in salary and he ended up really hurting himself on that one. The Broncos. I mean, I talked a couple Bronco sources. They're very, you know, empathetic. But right now that situation is one where he sees he and the players have really kind of set themselves up for failure in the players Union massively overplay their hand. Not all the players were on board with not doing these OTA is I can tell you that right? It was not Wasn't he wanting to do the O T. A S was that he's not the only guys like Alexander Johnson. These guys were showing up there, guys, they're showing up. They just agreed not to talk about it to kind of keep the unified the perception of a unified front. But there I could tell you that locker room was upset about it. And there were guys in that locker room and said We were five win football team, the optics of not showing up for opiates While we're trying to make a power grab on something we didn't collectively bargain. Eyes is bad and JC trader and some of these guys have massively overplay their hand on this, and they're gonna get a lot of pushback this week because of John James was gonna get this could get really sticky with the union. It could get really sticking with you. So if you had to make a prediction will the Broncos Say sorry. You know, we feel bad, but we need this money to get another right tackle. If I'm predicting something, I suggest that they probably what the Eagles did with Jason Peters a few years ago, which has reached a settlement half um yeah, reach reach a settlement. You carry him on the roster and its equitable for everybody. You get cap savings. He gets some of his money. Nobody's the bad guy in it. You know, when you go forward from there, it's not one report that said it's a season indeed. Injurious another report this So what? Maybe there's a chance. He can come back. Is it a Tauron? Achilles? Yes and partially corn's not fully tourney, And there is some optimism that he could be back for the final month of the season. Give or take talked with my Garofalo, who put that out The second report. Talk with him yesterday, and it seems like that's the hope. But that's more of a hope that a medical diagnosis I'll just say based on The fax that we have That would seem highly unlikely to make and it's Z is more hope and wishful thinking that I think it is anything else. So with the Broncos have any interest in a Gallic Mitchell Schwartz or Charles Leno or what do they do it right tackle. Those are two names that are out there. I don't think Leno's gonna be one of them talked to somebody yesterday they hadn't reached out to him yet with Mitchell Schwartz. I talked to his brother Jeff yesterday for quite a bit, and Mitch is still rehabbing. He's not ready to play. So even if they reach out to that, that's kind of a giant question. Mark still has some back issues, some other names that are out there right now that I would suggest Rick Wagoner, Audie Massey. The more Dotson could be brought back, although I think that's kind of an emergency option and then Cam Fleming and Dennis Kelly would be other. They're going to bring some guys in this week and kind of take a look and see where they're at and go from there. So Mitchell Schwartz. He had a back issue that he's still rehabbing. Yeah, he's still rehabbing that back issue last year's Iranian play in the Super Bowl, and he's contemplating retirement. And the rest of these guys. Anybody stand out to you other than him. Cam plaints. Dawson's old. I mean, he did a fairly good job last year. Yeah, but he's old. Yeah, Dotson's a fun guy. He's good in the locker room, but you can't You literally can't run the screen game to his side..

"Zubin Welcome inside. It's Martin Luther King Day, something we will discuss with the fellas here in detail in just a little bit. So have some perspective. When you think about sports today and what's going to be happening in the country later this week. There's just so much to talk about in the world of sports, but just sort of step back and take a macro. Look at everything you might see it. A little bit differently. A little levity off the top, apparently key and a social media mishap I need to know about here. What happened came the weekend mass word wise. What about one of my hand? No, It's not me. I'm got daytime. I I don't know what not me. I don't have social media, so I wouldn't wait. You've been you know, Keyshawn is not part of the media. What are you talking about? That media? Uh no. They get you wrong information, it says on this piece of paper, he doesn't know his social media passwords. Key is to Google his name to find his own social media. That sets explain. That's a lie. Don't Don't listen to that. Don't don't is a typo and big news. Big news. Let's move on, move on. Okay, so let it be recorded that for the first time ever they want to go right to the sports. One way sports. We just said move on. Isn't me. We gotta go to sports must means it or weekends were great. Football was good. We have a chance to see the bills advanced. Cleveland got as much as they could out of that. But, you know, hey, in the end Said at home last night. Wait looking at the saints in the bucks. And that guy number 12 on the other side is really truly something special soup, and I just go to you. And I say this anything is possible. It's all set. There you go. Anything is always possible, Kenny. Anything anything? Anything is possible to do that, right? Yeah, well, I mean, I don't know. Yeah. Did you get that They were already far as I know. They were already winning the game when he took over, So we'll talk about it in the second. So anything is possible Grocery shopping today. I mean, this weekend. No. No bags in there just by Jack this weekend. Did you go shopping? What do you do? I just watched the games. Just watch the games. Watch the little MBA over the weekend garden yet so pitifully hard. What did your baby say? Love? I told you, John James Harden and long it would take him a couple days to lose that way. £30 that was gone like it. Two days who triple doubles who've been tripled Basketball so amazing? No, because you put the ball in your hand. He could do what you want to do Right. Unlike any other sport, I got need somebody to pitch to me. I need somebody throw me the football unless I'm the quarterback, and I'm running the option. Other than that, I got basketball could just Waiver everybody off and just do what I need to do. So here's King Subliminally. Are you speaking to Drew Brees right now? About your nephew? Are you saying that he didn't attempt enough passes, Tonto?.

"Because we need at this point, just even if it's a minute, minimal power platform, we have it. Can't do that. To which I'd say no, I'd say BS. I use actual words didn't say BS because it's a some point you move away. And I watched a sermon The other night with David Barton was outstanding, Hey, was talking about run toward the roar. He was using a lioness an analogy. But anyway, the gist of it was That at some point you're doing something that has the right effect. You need down the road. My lovely wife used to say this. Nice to say, girls. Get the hell out there, baby. Let's move. Tennessee was going to Texas. Let's go to Florida. This is absurd. Nothing's happening here. This is worthless. You said no. And I knew this. I've said this myself. Somebody got it for me. Let's say we're plant. It's like Acorn said you're planning in a acorn from which grows on mighty oak. That common organization ACORN? That's why that's why they call themselves a corn, but well, it was an acronym, but that's why they use that the bottom line is, is that what we're doing now? You don't know what affect it has down the road, and I would argue it has a massively like the butterfly effect as a massively powerful effect. You can't keep going along with the failed Republican party. It can't happen now. Don't get me wrong. I'm not going all are all bein room when he was running for office used to advertise on whim. The man's a total psycho on our Facebook sits in his basement and does nothing but insult people in Republicans. And people say he's kind of productive. Yeah, I'll give you that. I'm I'm not saying you move window vote for Republicans. I'm saying you vote for only conservatives, and you don't go by their shuck and jive rap about their voting record. You look at what they really, really have said and done and a spouse. Are they doing the right thing? You know, I almost hate to use this is very different in mind. But Patrick Coburn, he's the gold standard on this. Public's the gold standard. And people are still saying vote he needs to be governor. Yeah, Yeah, yeah, that that that ship has sailed, Okay? He comes back in great. Try to get him to run for a representative out there and from the 11 he would have people taking it away. He could've beat Stevens. Hello, Stevens. But anyway, my point is this quite simply You vote for the right guy? Because he does the right thing, even if he doesn't get To do the right thing. Most immediately. You must stand your ground. And right now, if we haven't been shown that the Republican Party is almost our enemy. Talking about we the thinking. But we sent Donald Trump to D. C. We didn't send him there as a Republican party. In fact, the Republican Party tried everything they could do to get him not in the running in the first place. Every one of them. Even the ones that begrudgingly sort of maybe came around and then come around. Come around it all. That at all? Behind the scenes they were working against him Tooth and nail. And if you think I'm focusing, is this on Trump? I am because that that's emblematic of what I'm talking about. The Republican Party is doing nobody any favors, and at some point we move away from it and we go someplace else, and we get serious conservatives and I know who that is. It's time for serious conservatives to step up and say, Hey, I'll run on and then we vet them. I don't know. I mean, we've had no luck whatsoever in Michigan, have we I voted for John James. Is that a conservative? Not in close now, and where was James making any statement whatsoever? On the war that we're fighting right now. I mean the actual war that had the war against Democrats Socialism, calling it a such well, that's too radical. Can't talk like that that l turn people after might vote for me from the Democrat Party. Really? And then you're damaged goods to begin with, If that's your mindset So I don't have an answer. I'm not saying I've got all the answers. I mean, uh, some guy nailed me a few years back. You may have heard the call was kind of funny. You get on the radio, and you say this is you never give us any solutions. To which I said I've given you plenty of solutions, man, but I have a solution for everything. No, that doesn't mean we don't talk about things so that we could kind of kick it around. I go back to with regard to this getting out of the Republican Party. At one point somebody said, Hey, let's get together, implement that. Whatever that building is on Farmer Street, or I forget. We're west of his crewman. But you get the point that the tea party people, said Dennis, Uh, what's his name was down here with the willow run. Let's get together that restaurant out there and he's Michigan Avenue. At some point, people started getting together and Cole Ussing around that. How every movement starts. I go back to this. The Chinese revolution the straight up most evil serial killing revolution. Thank you. It's great to be here. Um If we're not going to be Republicans, what are we gonna be? I don't know that we're gonna be anything. Why do we have to be anything? S so we can organize. We can put candidates for you don't need her. But you don't need Republicans to do that, too. I think that's a great fallacy. If you when we pulled together and and again I went to a lot of these meetings. I was asked to speak at them believing that people actually like to hear what I say from time to time. Which consulate sounds and amazes me, But anyway, item all fooled. Back in the tea party era, and those were massive gatherings. That wasn't because they were Republicans. That was because somebody started Hey, get so on. So let's get together next Tuesday. Let's talk about this. And pretty soon he had email groups going on. We need to move away from what is perceived as important. That is not important. The Republican Party is not doing anybody any favors, but I get I've heard that argument. Well, what are we gonna wait? If we walk away from that? We need to walk towards something Well, walking are organizing something else. Uh, well, you know, the tea party is pretty much put that but whatever my that's not my that Zuri really survived and there are a few good Republicans. And, yeah, the good Republicans need to stand up and be saying what I'm saying. I would argue. But they do I agree with you. They should be working with the Republican Party when they put forth a candidate like John James and acted like he was sent down from heaven. Oh, and really nothing more than a suit. What? What Good was the Republican party when and he did nothing to come out and really strongly support Donald Trump or any accomplishments of Trump. I'm just using him as an example. What good is the Republican Party do when they can't find their ass with both hands to stand against Governor Whitman. What? What Yeah, well, we're only we're only can use the candidates that are available. Mean was who was it that we were supposed to support if it wasn't John James? No, I got that. I got that. It's like, well, that goes back. I get the the argument. I don't support any more. Don't because I let's put it this way. If that election were happening tomorrow, I would not vote for John James. I would write you in first, but that's crazy. That's throwing away your vote knows that. I'm not. I'm not buying that anymore. Because a Republican does not hedge against a Democrat. They just reach across the aisle and go along to get along. There's no proof that the Republican Party has done anything other than hate. Donald Trump hate you and me. And and do that, if no other way just by sitting back and doing nothing. Yeah. You think Gary Peters was a better candidate than John James? Uh, he didn't say that. Did I said don't put words in my mom. When did I say that? They also these. Those are the two alternatives. No, they're not. No, I beg to differ in the last election. I understand if we have a more long term view, and I would like to see better candidates get in there. Where are they have events that argument for I want to say going on easily Since I've been doing this show that we must vote for a Republican. You've heard me say this. If you listen to show if it's got in our if it's got an R after its name, whether we like it or not, we have to vote for it. I can't subscribe to that anymore. We have been seriously. Damaged by the Republican Party just over the last month and a half, if nothing else. Well, we've been more damaged by the Democrats, right? I get that lesser of two evils argument. Every election is the lesser of two evils. Every always did. It always is that when people say I'm not gonna vote for lesser of two evils, you don't vote for anything but Mm hmm. But, yeah, I think we need a strong organization of people leaving the party not just going off in the streets, and I write you when you write me and we need to still get we have plenty of time to get organized and find a good candidate, whether Republican or not over the next two years. Yeah. Who's we, though? Who is this weird queers? Whoever you get on board to get together next Tuesday at a cop we can hire stars their coffee shop. You can't go to a coffee shop anymore. They completely neutered us and able to be able to communicate. Yes. And that's who was responsible for that. Well, the Democrats know the complicity Republican Party. Yeah. You know, it's it kind of comes down money, right? And you gotta get a lot of money behind. Always. And so there's these donors to the Republican Party who pick and choose who they want to support. More assuming that there's good candidates out there that they're dissing. I don't know. Um uh, that goes back to something. I said to one of our previous collars who mentioned about primary people out. I don't know who's around. Worthy of plugging into primary anybody out. I gotta tell you, man, this sounds horribly defeat us. But it's I think it's probably realistic. And that is that in the state of Michigan, we're screwed. We we don't have any Backbench of conservative Way the thinking Republicans or otherwise we just don't Mm. Well,.

"One of the weakest ever Republican candidates for office. John James. And, uh, Completely duplicitous, traitorous. Globalist hat bitch was Cheney and I want to find that picture of me with Liz Cheney. And I want to make a statement on when I find it I'm looking for I've got a zillion pictures. On that Facebook page, but I will find it. Uh, listen to this. You could see this coming. But House Republicans circulate petition to remove pro impeachment representative Liz Cheney. From GOP leadership dog. Uh huh. Yep. I went after Tim Walberg on this today. Uh, this morning. Yesterday was this morning. Texted when I asked him why are you not leading this charge? And he said that he thinks that's the way house leadership is gone. He could come back and say he's gonna lead the charge didn't come back and say he's going to do it. He just It was one of those. I think it'll probably get done on that pissed me off. So I'm not going to get into my conversation back and forth with him, But I basically asked him how come on Jim Jordan, Matt Gates and Andy Biggs lead everything anyway. Faction of Conservative House Republicans are taking action to remove Liz Cheney from GOP leadership after she became the highest profile Republican member of Congress to declare her support for impeaching President Donald Trump. And, uh, a couple other ones have jumped on board Republicans. It's disgusting. It's it's not because Uh, Donald Trump's out of office in five days. This is crazy to even do this. No, no, no, no, it's because it's 100% wrong thing to do. Even if he was in for one day or another or 10 years. He hasn't done anything wrong. Have you noticed that not one. Left wing media outlet. I don't care what it is. I don't care if it's YouTube. I don't care if it's M s LGBT that one of them is playing the president's speech. The one they keep pointing to and say he incited riders to take over the Capitol building, not one Of CNN's. The Hacks are playing anything from that speech, because there's nothing in there that incriminates him, but they keep pointing to it. He incited people to go, Baba. They're going back and saying just because he's him. People went to the capital and the one in and tried to burn down the Capitol building. And it's amazing how they play with the language and call them insurrectionists, but never once called the real insurrectionists. The black lives matter. The antifa, uh, and Communist revolutionaries in the streets of America never once called them insurrectionist did they, and they never once called for the president to invoke the insurrection Act and get them off the streets. Did they? No. No. You know, one of the reasons they did that. Because you fucking to you, Mr Miss Citizen. You are collateral damage. They don't care. Brick goes to your window. Look, if your business get shut down, they don't care They care about Assuming and maintaining power and plunder. That would be the Democrat Socialist Party. So when you're in your business, as let's say you're in Seattle, or you're in Portland, Oregon, or Washington, D. C. Molotov cocktail went through your building. You are not to say some about it. Got beaten by black lives matter. Thugs with a two by four got put on video. Everybody saw it. Everybody saw who did it? Not one thing happened. Not one person was arrested. When that happened. Who do you think the Democrats socialists were pulling for? It, wasn't you? It was not you if you have a restaurant. In Michigan right now. A number of other things, too. But restaurants soon to be the highest profile that they're losing their businesses and you're being told you can see people in this little igloo out in front of your business, but you can't see them inside. They can sit right next to each other in this igloo, and they take their masks off when they eat at the table. And they're literally feet from each other a couple of feet from each other. But they can't sit your restaurant for 56 ft. Away from each other. Who do you think whose side do you think the Democrats socialists are on? Whose side now I Drove through Ah neighborhood today in the People's Republic of Ann Arbor suburban neighborhood. I really do that, but I cut through one to get over to Washington Avenue and I couldn't believe I forgot. I forgot the black lives matter. Science, The Biden Harris signs. I saw one today I could hardly believe it was it was home made on the front line on one of these common neighborhood houses, and it said Thank you, Georgia. What does that mean? There, thanking Georgia. For election fraud and taking the Senate. Along with the election fraud that is abiding presidency. Now they control everything and the people rooting for this. It's interesting. Some of them are going to come out. Okay, They have government jobs or they work for the university. But If they're Biden voters, and they own up my hair salon or a restaurant. They're screwed. Yeah, they're I mean, they're business could be shut down. It is shut down in many cases. Got a business won't come back. They don't see that they never make the connection they never, ever ever made the connection and they love to blame people they consider to be crazy. Conservative whites apprentice fest. "There has been out there for years, and it looks like he's not only a finalist with Houston, But that deal maybe getting done. He's going down to Houston to meet with Cal McNair. And so maybe he doesn't leave Houston because he's the new GM, so that takes one position and one name off the board. But You want to have that person in place? Your help the little by you still have the entire personnel staff and John Elway still around, but you also don't want have to settle, so you want to be able to get your guy? It's just tricky if if there's a really good candidate that you like odds are someone else likes him too? Right? And that's what you want is you want to be in some sort of bidding war and hope that you're the right fit for them something other jobs come with. Potentially better opportunities to either drafted Trevor Laurence. Or you have a dish on Watson. If because area doesn't get that job in Houston or does either way that's a more attractive quarterback situation right now, And of course, we see what Justin Herbert it is a rookie in L. A. And we know how talented that roster is there. So you want to do it quickly because you don't want to let this fester for a couple of weeks. But you don't want to do it so quickly that you miss somebody that might have been the better fit Vacay as we get going into the offseason. Certainly there's um uh, contract clauses and timelines that need to be met. Any off any offhand that you can think of that have to be done before the start of the league year contract has to be executed before the start of the league year. As far as the guys that are under Contractual obligations. No, I guess I have to decide before you don't want guys to hit the street if you want him back, so I have to pick up an option. It's a team option on cream. Jackson very asked, you'd have to decide. Yeah, it's a team option for It's 12 million years a captain. It's 10 million in cash. So it's the team's decision to bring him back at that number. I feel like there may be an option on Von Miller. I need to double check that and if and if so, because you keep hearing people ask about the decision on Ron Miller. That's 17.5 million in cash and 22 a half against the cap, so I think it would Be in the best interest of the organization and the new GM, assuming that we believe what Vic Fangio and John Elway was saying that they want him back, and I think that they do that they get a deal done yet is a team option for Nirvana's well, 18 million in cash. I'm sorry in 22 2 to 5 against the cap. You want to sign him to an extension so that it doesn't It doesn't crush your cap this year and gives you more flexibility and gets von happy, right. This is a guy that has meant so much for the organization that if they want it back, they need to get that done. And then she'll be Harris, I think won't be done before free agency. That's the sense I get that they put a number out there. That was lower than he thinks he can get on the open market. Of course, you went through this once last year, so he may end up right back in the same spot. Differences last year. They never really put an initial offer out to him. So if they knew GM wants to honor that offer, or like Shelby, as much as we know, big Fangio does, And then Shelby will likely be back in the Justin Simmons. Of course, they could negotiate with Justin at any time. Now, I believe, because the season's done and they can obviously slap another franchise tag on him. But if they want it back, they're gonna need to make him a high state safety and football and I think he's probably earned that. In that salary. Okay? The last thing I have for you here, the five highest paid players or the Denver Broncos. Von Miller at 7 18 million bucks. Right? Juwan James 9.85 Kareem Jackson 10 Million with the club option. General Casey 6 11,000,081. On the next guy is AJ Bouvier. Of those five. How many do you anticipate coming back? Two for sure to Hogan Miller, Okay. Von Miller and John James, right. Tuan James opted out, but he's got 14 million reasons to come back and play next year. His wife's from here, So it's not like he's been hanging out somewhere else. I don't think I'm pretty sure they're just living in Denver. She's I think either from room to room fielder Lewisville, Esso. I expect James and I'm going to hold out hope that one. Miller does finish his career here that you don't have. Ah, The markets where situation guy that should have finished his career in Dallas. Like we were the beneficiaries in Denver to have them around in the community and bond was the biggest beneficiary. I think having him around, but Kay Jack, I'll lean towards that probably bringing him back. A lot of it has to do with what the cap number is. Is it 1 75 or doesn't go up to 200 because new TV deal is right around the corner or multiple new TV deals right around the corner for the league? So, uh And I don't think Casey and boy will be back a zoo. I've told you guys here now for multiple weeks. Okay? We appreciate it is always look forward to catching up with you again tomorrow. Michigan certifies vote count despite Trump campaign's objections
"Biden's win in Michigan has been certified. President Donald Trump's hopes of delaying certification of Democrat Joe Biden's win in Michigan in the November 3rd election have been dashed. The Michigan Board of State Canvassers voted 30 with one abstention Monday to certify Biden's 154,000 vote victory. Biden thus claims all 16 electoral votes from the state of Michigan. Allies of Trump and Republican John James, who lost his bid for U. S Senate seat had called for the board to delay certification for two weeks to allow for an audit of votes in heavily Democratic Wayne County, which is home to Detroit, Biden routed Trump in Wayne County by more than 330,000 votes.

Democrats are now unlikely to win a majority in the Senate: Here's where things stand
"Republicans are enjoying a much better election than anticipated. Republicans are now poised to maintain their majority in the Senate. I just received a very gracious call from Sara Gideon conceding the raise voice of Republican Senator Susan Collins, speaking earlier today in Maine, a state that Democrats had considered a must win to have a chance at flipping the Senate. No. In the House Republicans are expected to pick up seats shrinking the Democrats majority down to single digits for more on this NPR congressional correspondent Susan Davis is here. Hey there, Sue what went wrong, so to speak for Democrats? Yeah, I mean, it's been a complete reversal of fortune for Republicans down the ballot. There had been this widespread confidence that Democrats were going to take over the Senate that they could gain as many as six or seven seats. And that Democrats were poised to grow their majority in the House by as many as 10 to 20 seats. Obviously, not if that happened. I think the one thing everyone is pointing to right now is just how wrong the Poles were. I think in that main Senate race that's a great example. The Democrats Sara Gideon, she led in public polls all year long and yet still fell far behind in the race. I talked to election analyst Sean Trendy this morning, and he told me that polling simply did not account for Trump's support that a significant number of Trump voters just were never accounted for. Those are the exact people that when you hear a phone call in the person says Hi, I'm from the New York Times. Would you take it all? Just go click. I think it is that straightforward. I also talked to Democratic Congressman Ami Bera of California today, and he said that the polling was way off from where it was in the 2018 midterms. And that's when Democrats won. He basically told me he just thinks Democrats couldn't account for the effect that Trump has when he himself is on the ballot. While it looks like Republicans will hold their majority in the Senate, Not all races have been called. Can you tell us what still outstanding? Yeah, There's still five races that haven't been called 47 have been called for Democrats 48 for Republicans won were watching really closely Is Michigan. There's a Democratic incumbent there. Gary Peters. He's running narrowly behind a Republican John James. Obviously, what could be a pickup opportunity for Republicans. North Carolina remains really tight, but incumbent Republican Senator Tom Tillis is leading. You know, that was always seen as a state that was critical to the majority. So if Republicans hold it, I think that's one of the reasons why they seem to feel pretty secure. Right now. Alaska hasn't been called, but I don't really see any reason there to think it's going to be a Democratic pick up and Last one's Georgia. There's two Senate races there. One of them is going to go to a January runoff, and it's quite possible. The other one where it's held by incumbent Republican David per two, might be able to hold it off and win it out, right. Given that there are some races that are going to be uncertain, at least for the next few days does that What does that mean for the Senate majority? It does, and you know, depending on how Georgia goes, it could take quite some time. North Carolina in particular, could be tight and could be subject to court challenge. Senate Majority Leader Mitch McConnell spoke to that reality earlier today in Kentucky. You can anticipate in close elections, Both sides will be lawyered up and we'll end up in court. It's happened over and over and over again. Nothing unusual, and I do want to see her. I think McConnell has a point, and it's worth focusing on that. I think a lot of people are really nervous about what's gonna be happening with Balan challenges. It's really not uncommon, especially in Senate races to go through court challenges. Before they're certified. It happens almost every election year. That's NPR congressional correspondent Susan Davis. Thank you. You're welcome.

Travel to the Mississippi Gulf Coast
"Let's talk about Mississippi's Gulf coast. I I like to welcome the show Charles. McColl from McCall Travel Dot Com and Charles's come to talk to us about coastal Mississippi Charles. Welcome mm to the show. Hi Chris how are you today. I'm doing well and we're talking about the state of Mississippi. What is your connection with coastal Mississippi? As a travel writer. I have visited the coastal Mississippi a few times over the past two years and after going there three or four times. I decided that I loved that area and other parts of the US Gulf coast. So much that I developed a new brand called. US Golf coast which covers everything from key. West South Padre but we are talking only about coastal Mississippi debut today so as a travel writer I covered it several times. Excellent and why should someone go to coastal Mississippi. We'll we'll talk about many things but it is is unique. The unique destination the United States. It has the longest continuous beach in the United States. Which I think a lot of people don't know I love road road trips? I travel all over the world. Love driving and there's this sense of soul fulfillment I drive on the Mississippi Gulf coast. I where it's just different than anywhere else. You can drive for an hour and not see anything except for the sand in the water is unobstructed by condos and indulge and restaurants. And what have you so this this great peace and calm and different than anywhere else. Excellent and what kind of itinerary tenorio you're going to recommend for us. It's not a singular destination. There are many communities there. So I'm GonNa recommend some things to do in each of the communities go along the coastal Mississippi. It's all still call the Mississippi Gulf coast. So I'M GONNA use both terms interchangeably. I don't want you to drive fifty miles in one day for lunch and then go drive fifty miles back so I will concentrate on the various communities and say all right first day. You're going to be here second day. You're going to be here and so on and we can do a three four five seven ten very well. Let's get into it where you're GONNA start it. Let's start in Pascagoula. So Mississippi is between Alabama and Louisiana China so coastal Mississippi represents the entire Mississippi Gulf coast so over on the east side closest Alabama Alabama. If you're driving from mobile the first thing you're gonna hit is Pascagoula. The city is probably most famous. because it's where Jimmy Buffett was born. Okay I did not I know that. Yeah so that's going to set the expectations for what the coastal Mississippi areas. All about thank Jimmy Buffett was born there so we're already at our five o'clock somewhere attitude. Pascagoula is also a navy base. So there's a lot of military and also industry the street going on there but it's it's a seafaring community. It's laid-back relative to some of the other cities. We'll talk about. Well what are we going GonNa do in Pascagoula one of the things that happened in past the goal of that as I guess lesser known as that one of the biggest UFO abduction stories in in US history happened there. So back in the seventies the couple of people claim that they were abducted by UFO. And so they were never disproven even so. That's one of the most famous things that happened in Pascagoula. Okay but other than being abducted by aliens. What am I going to do in Pascagoula for won a narrow down here to the the oldest house in Mississippi isn't Pascagoula okay? It's called the lapointe Krebs House and museum now so I went. There are a couple of months ago and I was fascinated by Howell. They showed the construction of how house was done in the bleed was the seventeen. Twenty s house was built the How they use the for the the hair from animals as insulation in the house and things like that kind of interesting Seventeen fifty seven. Is there anything specific renovated the Krebs House. We're going to go to the Krebs House. You could probably spend a couple of hours there. It's a nice waterfront setting and you can get some history of the. The natives that lived in the area and then European settlers came in and saw a whole history of Mississippi but the main point there there's to see the the house and the oldest house in the Mississippi Delta region I think between Minnesota and the Gulf of Mexico. It's the oldest house that's still in the American frontier. I'm thinking New Orleans would be older than that but I mean the city might be but I'm not sure if there's a structure that's older than point good point. The city is older but I don't know if there are any of original houses. Okay Fair enough. But another thing that I really loved in Pascagoula. The Motto Bon Center. I believe the official is the best. Gula River Audubon Bond Center captain McCoy Relation on McColl. And there's a captain McCoy and he runs nature trips out of the Pascagoula River River Audubon Center and what I loved about. It is that I learn things. Obviously like you learn on most trips but the Pascagoula River is the longest. And I'm not going to get the the terminology right. It's the longest une damned river in the continental united in a at states. Yeah so I was fascinated by that and I was like well. What about this wherever they were like now? It was dammed at some point. So the Pascagoula River I believe is four four hundred and eighty miles. That is natural the way it's always been so it hasn't been dammed. It hasn't been obstructed by any kind of construction directions so you can see wildlife and nature the way that it was several hundred years ago. Something didn't expect expect to find in coastal Mississippi or anywhere else and you say wildlife. I'm picturing talking marshes birds alligators that sort of thing. Am I in the right right ballpark. You're right and one thing that that's dominant in this area or the Mississippi sandhill cranes which are relatively large bird. I'm sure there are in other parts that states but there is a sandhill crane refuge that none in Pascagoula but on the other side so I tend cuts through through the area so from mobile bill to New Orleans. You would drive high tech Postal Mississippi. I'm talking about everything. South of I ten okay. North of town the Pascagoula River would go up there. And that's where the sandhill crane. Refuges the birds. No birds don't recognize boundaries. They fly all over the place. So you can see that. I was on the riverboat tour. Okay the AUDUBON center is like most centers they want to promote the natural wildlife and the scenery. And that's so forth and it's a really hidden gem. I think that most people don't recognize will in because it has the name Audubon on it. I'm assuming calmly talking about birdlife predominantly. So yes okay. I don't know if everybody knows. I mean Audubon as a as a charity I think is well known but Google Audubon. You'll find what is James Audubon. Is that the a original one who did all the original drawings of birds in the early. US That's really neat. Watercolors this fascinating realistic catches does right. So I mentioned captain McCoy so you could take his crews out of the audubon center also wrench around Kayak and I did did that one time and going at your own pace around the marshes fascinating at least a dozen gainers and as close they would just scatter into the water. So I love love doing that at my own pace to excellent and John James Audubon. I got it almost John James. Okay when I said early. I didn't realize how early he was. He was born in seventeen eighty five and so he was basically drawing birds up until about the Mexican American war. You're in the US. And so as the frontiers were being filled in a he was out there with his sketch pad. MOM IN ESTA goal. There's obviously the Jimmy Buffett stuff to the native son. A I think he this family left when he was three and then he grew up in mobile but he has come back and he recognizes Pascagoula his birthplace so there is a beach and a bridge and his childhood home are all named for Jimmy Buffett. The parrot heads can go and pay pilgrimage to Jimmy Buffett and go visit some of those sites and one of my favorite places the Pascagoula is called bozos grocery. It's a very old school from the nineteen fifties place where you go in you place your order and you wait inside. been there two or three times. The last time I went kayaking at the river Audubon Center. In fact I got a takeout L. Poboy from Bozo's grocery and then took it on the Kayak. But it's this old school place where you go in and you place your order and you order order off the menu. You don't make up stuff and there was some guy in front of me. That was a visitor and he wasn't a local either and so he went on these. ZAC Oh can I make this substitution. Know what's on the bed. Yeah and I was like basically your choices are you. You get what you WANNA shrimp boat boy. You want poboy poboy being sandwich. A sub someplace else or a hoagie or a hero depending on where you're from but a pavilion in this region of the world. Okay and shrimp being the best known. One that I now. They're also known for their Fried Oysters. Poboy so okay. I got a half in half half. It's amazing I had a couple dozen po boys and along the Gulf coast and I it's one of the better ones side totally recommend going to Bozo groceries to get to take out to go kayaking or he.

Even though they already provided it one rather than user john james jacoby says he put himself in for an invitation when it arrived the email he provided didn't match an apple i._d. However he says he has used that apple i._d. With the same email for nearly ten years john james jacoby his name is nearly my name to meanwhile. I'm more writer. Christine romero chan has had a similar issue though in her case she knows what went wrong. She says i gave them a different email. That isn't associated with my apple i._d.
