Canon J.John on Jesus and the Woman of Samaria

"There folks I'm talking to canon Jay John. What kind of name is that? Canon is a title, CA NO, all right? We've covered that. J John J period John, we don't have time to get into this. All I know is that's your name, and you've written this book, and you're my friend. And we're talking about you were just talking about that pathogen scripture where Jesus is talking to the woman at the well. Now some people know this very well and other people don't know it. But I love the idea that when you get to know what the Bible says it makes more and more sense. So here you have the idea that the samaritans, how would we describe them today? They were like half breeds. The Jews thought we're pure we're Jewish, samaritans, who live in samaria. We don't really want to we don't want to get near them. They're basically what are they like second class citizens? We look down on them. I'm not really, I don't remember exactly what the context would. Absolutely Eric. And they despised them. And as I said, there were long-standing traditions. The Jesus ignored. And I think some of our traditions in church today, they're a good, but I think we've got a lot of traditions that hinder people. And I find it refreshing that Jesus was willing to break long-standing traditions and go into samaria. And he wasn't doing it just to be a rebel. Let's be honest. This is the funny thing is that sometimes being rebellious or breaking traditions itself becomes a cliche and a tradition and a cheap way of avoiding truth, right? So that you know people can say like, well, I'll never wear a tie. But then everybody doesn't wear a tie. And so then the person wearing the tie is the rebel. And we always have those tendencies as human beings, but Jesus was God. And so he really wasn't doing this just to be cheeky or whatever he was actually trying to point to the truth. And when he spoke to this woman, you didn't exactly say it. But it's the middle of the day. Why is a woman there alone at the well in the middle of the day? A lot of people don't know this. Explain that if you will. Of course, she came out in the middle of the day because she didn't want to engage with the other women because she obviously had caused offense because she had had 5 husbands. And the man that she was living with at that time was not her husband. Okay, so she was considered a loose woman, people looked down on her despised her. So she shows up in the middle of the afternoon and anybody who's been to that part of the world, whether Greece or you don't want to go out at three in the afternoon. It's miserable. You hide in the shade. But she comes out, Jesus is there. And he begins to talk to her at what point because I'm trying to remember the conversation how it goes. He says to her, no, she says to him, why are you a Jew? Why are you even a man? A Jewish man, a rabbi, why are you talking to me? Stunned. Oh yeah, she was totally blown away. She couldn't really understand. And that's why I love the conversation. And the effect of the conversation of Jesus first of all, focusing on what they had in common, which was H2O, rather than focusing on their differences. And engaging with her about this living water that he could offer her. But then also speaking into her

How the Name 'J.John' Came to Be

"Folks welcome back. I'm talking to canon Jay John. Now, what's that all about? Before we get back into the book, canon J John, you go by J John. It's a great marketing idea, because there's no other Jean, but what, how do you come to be forget about cannon? We'll get to that in a moment. But Jay John, what is this? Well, Eric, your Greek, guilty. I'm Greek and my naming Greek is yanagi yuan is. And if you translate my greet name into English, it will be John's son of John. So when I kiss you one is you honest. So when I wrote my first wait, you're first name is yanaki. Yes. Now I've never heard that. Yeah, nagy says John and Johan is his son of John. Well, Yanni's or iwan is John. That's right. Janae is like the diminutive of John. It's like Johnny. It is. So my brother's name is John. We call him, you know, Yanni Yankee, whatever. Okay, so you decided living in England to keep things simple to be able to communicate this. You're never going to pull off this yanagi's thing. No, so I Anglo size my name and then when I wrote my first book, several decades ago, I just had this idea, oh, I'll just call it J John. But I never ever dreamt that the book would do really well. And then that person J John was being invited to go and speak. So I never intentionally decided. But so then I did. And it stuck. It's a bit like C. S. Lewis, T.S. Eliot, DL moody. Yeah. J.John's New Book 'Will I Be Fat in Heaven? And Other Curious Questions' Has a Special Endorsement

"I'm talking to canon J John, the new book is will I be fat in heaven and other curious questions. So you're telling us a story of being in Australia? Is this many years ago? Yes. Quite a few years ago. And so this young woman comes up to you at the end and says, I hated what you said, church destroys people. Absolutely. So I said to her look, have you got a few minutes and she was like, why? Really angry. I said, if you've got a few minutes, can we go and have a coffee? And she like, all right, let's go. So we just went to the cafeteria. We sat there. We got a coffee. I said, why, why are you so angry? And all this stuff just came out. And I just listened. I said, that was a Monday. I said, come and hear me Tuesday and we'll have a coffee. And she's like, I don't know. Anyway, she came went for coffee. I said, come and hear me Wednesday, we'll go for coffee. She came, we went for coffee. Come and hear me Thursday. We'll go for coffee. She came. We went for coffee. I'd say one meeting left, come and hear me Friday. We'll go for coffee, Friday. She's ransomed hilled restored and forgiven. That girl's name, Christine Kane. Ladies and gentlemen, on the back of this book, will I be fat in heaven and other curious questions? There's a blurb. An endorsement from Christine Kane. Some people because we have a very mixed kind of crowd who tunes into this program. Some people know who Christine Kane is many do not. So tell my audience who Christine Kane is. Well, and the interesting thing about that story, Eric is 5 coffees. 5 coffees help this restless girl and counter the tune living God. Well, she's a little dynamo. I think one of the most incredible things that she and her husband are doing is that they founded a ministry called a 21, which is anti human trafficking and has made such a difference throughout Europe and around the world. And she's a speaker. I mean, she's an ambassador for Jesus. Oh, she's a big she's a big

The Miracle That Brought Britain's Canon J. John to America

"Canon J John is my guest. Jay John welcome. Eric, you delight. You just crack me up. You're one of those people that you just you crack me up and I want a joke. I want to be silly. I want to be serious. Where do we start? How about this? You are from England. What brings you here to what I like to call my country? Absolutely. Well, as you know, we weren't allowed to come here for a long, long time. And that was funny, Eric, because the Brits allowed the Americans to go over there. But the Americans wouldn't allow us to come over. So we actually came for Thanksgiving with a family that we've done a bit of life with in Nashville. And so we do I know this family. Well, I don't think you do. Do you want to say their names on the air? They're called David and Dana, but when they're she was told to abort her baby. This was 12 years ago. And I was in England and I had a prompting of God to phone her because I felt something was wrong. She had just walked out of the hospital, the doctor said you got to abort your baby. And I said, well, is your life at risk? She said no. I said that means you can't do that. She agreed. I prayed for over the phone and the baby was born one pound 6 ounces. And so Killian and I came over to the hospital. I put my hands in the incubator. This is how many years ago? 12 years ago. I put my hands in the incubator, I held this one pound baby and prayed life. And that baby is now 12 years old. And David and Dana have been begging us to come for Thanksgiving to celebrate his life. And we managed to do it after 12 years. I have to say, this is what makes you you is that I just, I just start out I'm very silly and whatever. "Then this program that I'm doing with canon J John is a miracle Monday program. But even if it's not Monday, it feels like a miracle Monday program. We're talking about a lot of beautiful, important things you can and J John have a new book out called will I be fat in heaven and other curious questions. And by the way, that's a very funny cover. We are mostly radio shows so people can't see this, but if they go online, it looks like that might be you on the cover. It's his lying on a donut, a giant donut. Giant donut, a giant donut. Well, we'll leave that where it is. We were talking before about the story of the woman at the well, and then you shared with great vulnerability, your story about Amy Winehouse. And I want to talk to you about the idea that God speaks today. And there are Christians, many devout Christians who are either uncomfortable made uncomfortable by that subject or they shrink from it or sometimes they push back theologically. It's been my experience that God speaks today. It just as when I read Jesus knows these magic things about this woman, how is that? Well, it's because he is God and even if you're not God, as you are not and I am not, God, through the Holy Spirit speaks. Sometimes, to us, about other people, because he wants to reach them. He wants to blow their minds and say, see, I am real. I'm outside of time and space. I know who you are. I love you. And I want to convince you of that. So you'll receive me. You've experienced this many times. Now, did you experience God speaking to you immediately on coming to faith when you were in university as you put it? Well, I received Christ on the 9th of February 1975 at 10 o'clock. It was the moment I opened the door to use that picture from revelation three 20. Jesus stands at the door and knocks. If you hear the knock, open the door, let him in. And I said, Jesus, I don't even know where this door is. But wherever the door is, can you break the door down and come into my life? And I fell. My mind was illuminated, and my heart was warmed. But I didn't have the vocabulary Eric to articulate what was going on. But I knew something had

Trevor Noah: Moderna Chief Not a Source You Should Trust

"Day. Trevor, Noah gets the dummy today. Now I've long said, you take Bill Mars earpiece off. You take Trevor Noah's earpiece off. John Stuart any of them. Gobert, you put them in a room with a smart man or woman who's well read, and you'll let him talk for two hours. There will be nothing left but ribbons of them. There will be cut to pieces. By anyone who knows their way around a set of facts and how to argue. They're not that bad. They're not smart. They're funny, and they have good timing, they're good comics. But Trevor Noah is a moron. Cut number 21. And while most of the world is willing to wait and see, at least one person feels comfortable about making predictions, the Moderna CEO told the Financial Times he expects the existing vaccines to be less effective against the new variant of COVID. I think it's going to be a material drop. This was on vaccine efficacy. I just don't know how much because we still need to wait for the data, but all the scientists I've spoken to are saying this is not going to be good. So on the one hand, almost all the only cron cases have been mild so far. But on the other hand, the guy who stands to gain millions of dollars from new vaccines says we need new vaccines. Huh. If we don't make a new vaccine, this disease could be with us Ferrari. I mean forever. Sorry, I was thinking of something else. Now, look, I'm not saying that the CEO of Moderna is lying. I'm not saying that at all. I'm just saying, I don't think he's the most objective source on this topic, you know? I'll wait to hear what neutral experts say about a new vaccine. People like public health officials or the CEO of Johnson & Johnson. I mean, he's got nothing a game 'cause nobody's gonna buy his vaccines either way, so I trust him. And also, if we do need a new vaccine for this new variant, it's not a big deal. All right, people. I see people online being like, we're going to get a new shot every year. There's no way. Yeah, yeah, you know what? Maybe to not die, you might need to take 15 minutes out of your year.

Biden Says 'Lockdowns' Not Needed to Curb Coronavirus Variant

"John Kennedy, well, let's start with Justin Trudeau, premiere of Canada. I'm a crime is actually in Canada. Not in the United States yet. Cut number 19. Obviously, we're watching very, very closely at the situation with el Macron. We know that even though Canada has very strong border measures now. We need vaccinations to come to Canada. We need pre departure tests. We do testing on arrival. There may be more we need to do, and we'll be looking at it very carefully. Are we going to ban more flights? Are we going to ban more many walked away? Because he doesn't know any more than you know other than Moderna CEO says we're screwed. Joe Biden, Dakota county, Minnesota went up there, and this is what he said cut number 20 from the president. As I told the American people yesterday, this new variant is a cause of concern, but not a cause to panic. On Thursday, I'll put forward a detailed strategy outline in how we've gone, we're going to fight this COVID this winter, not with shutdowns and lockdowns with more widespread vaccination. Boosters testing a much more. In the meantime. It sounds to me like deputy president Ron klain got the President Biden. And said, here's what we're going to do. It's what I'm doing. Urge everyone to get vaccinated because Delta is out there. And delta could kill you. We have about 850 deaths a day average right now in the United States. They're all Delta. And the vast majority of them are people who aren't vaccinated. You want to play poker with your life. I can't talk you out of it, but we're a long past having the government shut things down and closed schools because the cost of those are now well known and they're terrible.

"You got to remember, Wendy started that fundraiser. She had $0. We had to re zeros. I want to also the audience to know the financial status of the rittenhouse family. You dropped out of school to support your mom, is that correct? I did. I was working three jobs. I was working at the YMCA rec plex and I was doing some landscaping gigs off the side. So that's the net worth of the rittenhouse family. And then and I'm not saying that diminishingly on this offering context that then the only opportunity you had to get out of jail and get counsel was external support and no one really knew where the money went. It went to John pierce and to linds ego. The Kyle, I'm just sensing this and you could correct me if I'm wrong, you're calm cool and collected until this topic. It just two things in this world pissed me off the most when lunchbox says I'm not a student at ASU. And when linwood likes to go off and say that I'm being handled. So more there you can listen, of course, on the Charlie Kirk show podcast and we'll be dropping it here and we're honored to have an exclusive conversation with him. One of the stories that's been popping up is Arizona state university. Many of the students at Arizona state university will be playing more clips throughout the hour with Kyle rittenhouse, and we're going to get into so much more news as well. But the students at Arizona state university metro date that ASU they have come out and maybe they want to be sued. Maybe they want to be thrown for libel. They say we have been contacted by many media organizations asking for different statements regarding our protest against Kyle rittenhouse. Here's our position. We will not stand for a white supremacist killer on our campus. Really, white supremacist. What evidence do you have of that? Who is basically Kyle's best friend? I'd love for metra day ASU to tell me that. In our view, the rittenhouse shooting is an analogous to the Greensboro massacre. Where 5 antiracist protesters were killed by clan members that were later acquitted by an all white jury. Similar to the Greensboro massacre, the rittenhouse case is a failure of the justice system to punish white fascist vigilante violence. You see, you can only believe things like this if you go to college.

Why Kyle Rittenhouse Should've Never Gone to Trial

"Where my brain goes with this stuff, it's sort of like saying Supreme Court declares one plus one equals two. And everybody cheers. And there's a side of me that says, why are we cheering? Like we know one plus one equals two. The only horror is that we needed to hear what the Supreme Court said on it as though they didn't themselves know that one plus one equals two. At that point right now. Roger Kimball wrote a brilliant column about this. Kyle rittenhouse, that should case never have gone to trial. We had high definition video of leftist thugs chasing them through the streets yelling, kill him, kill him, kill him. We had video of someone clubbing him with a skateboard. We had video of someone pointing a gun at him. When he shot those three psychotics, one of whom was a pedophile. It was obviously self defense. He was even this. This is like my brain explodes. You say one of whom was a pedophile. Okay, a child rapist. Now, if you're following the news, many people already know this. But I think it bears repeating since we've not addressed this issue. Talking about things that are so confusing. In other words, it's not an issue of Kyle rittenhouse is chased by some people or whatever. The people chasing him are the sort of characters that anybody would say are super bad people. Not anybody Eric, not anybody, the mainstream media were to say calling them heroes. A Democrat legislator saying, they were a group of heroes. They were antiracist activists and Kyle rittenhouse cross state lines illegally with an AR-15 attack. Assault weapon and killed them. None of which is true. They will have no we know, don't take for granted or the old maybe your listeners don't know this because you're the only person saying it. If they read MS MSN, if they watch NBC, if they watch CNN, they don't know any of this. They think he was a white nationalist who carried a gun across state lines and murdered people. None of which is true. He didn't carry a gun across state lines. He shot himself defense. He wasn't a white nationalist. They were white communist thugs trying to murder him trying to burn down a used car dealership of some small businessman.

John Zmirak on Why Anti-Racism Is the New Religion

"That. Right now I want to talk to you, John, really about anything. You've got all these articles that stream dot org. But what do you want to start first? I mean, I haven't talked since Kyle rittenhouse was 100% vindicated of any criminal charges. And I'm proud to say that I'm one of the very first people commentators in America who came out two days after the shooting to say that Kyle rittenhouse appeared to me to be completely innocent and in fact an American hero. And all the facts, all the witnesses, all the testimony, all the video has confirmed my initial column from two days after the shooting. Mainstream media have ignored all of it. Right. Lied about all of it, have repeated entirely invented libelous statements about mister rittenhouse, saying that he was a white supremacist member of some white nationalist militia. Not that there's anything wrong with that because we are non judgmental. I want to be very, very clear. Our media almost universally reported false statements about Kyle rittenhouse, destructive, really destructive false statements. The most destructive thing you can say about someone in America is that he's a white nationalist. It's really more destructive than saying someone is a child pornographer. Actually, let me ask you a question because I have to always go to the roots why do we care if somebody's a white supremacist or whatever it isn't the issue is he a murderer? Isn't that the issue? Like if I kill you because I hate that you're black or I kill you 'cause I hate that you're white, or I kill you because you're not Greek, does it matter. If I murder you, it's called murder. So aren't we already, in other words, I don't want to go down this rabbit hole, but the reason we're in the mess that we're in is because we talk about things like why someone murdered someone rather than did someone murder someone problem Eric is that you're speaking like someone from the old America. The new America is in the grips of the imposition of a new official religion. Anti racism is the new official religion of America. And it's being imposed upon us the way Islam was imposed upon the Christians of Egypt after the conquest of that country.

How Unity Can Be Realized Only Through the Church

"I have to ask you because everybody has a different temperament. You have the temperament by God's grace to wade in to these really painful details and as a journalist to kind of sift through these facts and try to make some sense of them. There aren't many people doing that. My instinct for good or for ill is always to want at some point to step aside and to say, what can we do about this? Is your I'm guessing that your response first and foremost is to do what you're doing, which is to say to report on it and to try to bring clarity since there is so little. Well, I think it's really important we find reconciliation across racial and ethnic ethnic lines in the church. And the church needs to be the place that brings Americans together about what's really important because you and I have much more in common with a Christian pigmy living in the jungle jungle in Congo, than we do with a secular American, the same ethnic background as our state. Right. I want to see people gathering in the church and coming to the foot of the cross of Jesus Christ and finding the real source of unity in our human dignity as children of God made by God redeemed by Christ brought together by the Holy Spirit. These are the things that bring us together. So when I talk about these racial issues, my intention is not to divide and not to rally white people as white people. No, not at all. My intention is to is where I see people being demonized, vilified, treated unfairly because of their ethnicity. I want to object to that as a Christian.

"I open the show this morning by saying that the embassy should make a rule. They should have it in place in time for tonight's games. Wearing if a player gets a technical, like Kristaps Porzingis did in the first quarter last night. For an instantaneous reaction to a terrible call. They should rescind the technical It doesn't have to swallow anything up. You just go back and look at it in a break like they do if the shot was a three or two. And when they realized that was a perfectly clean block on Paul, George, you take back the tech because he was 100% right to react the way he did. Actually, that shouldn't have been a technical even if it was a good call, and the second one should have been a technical either. The playoffs. They should never have taken him out of that game. One way or another. There's a way to solve that problem, and that that way is to use instant replay that way is to use that mechanism. You have it your way. Disposal and that's what everybody has wrong. And I've been saying this for years. I've been saying this on this radio network for almost 20 years. Instant replay is good. And the answer is Maura Vit, not less. And the reason you don't like it is because they're doing it wrong. There should never have been challenges. No coaches should be deciding whether a place should be replayed or not. They used that strategically, they use that in the NFL sometimes if they want to use a timeout in a certain spot. There's any number of ways that can be sort of Jerry Mander. That's not what challenges should be or what replay should be. Instant replay should be used for one reason and one reason only that is to correct egregious errors. I've attached the one look rule. There's an eye in the sky that needs one look at a play. And if that person says I need to look at it again, the call stands done. You move on with their lives. And most calls don't have to be corrected immediately. Like that one. That decision on poor Zynga's whether it be a technical or not. You can do that later. So people get frustrated because replay holds up games in baseball. That's ridiculous Manager standing on the dugout steps waiting Tio here in his ear, whether he should challenge a call or not. What the heck is he got to do with it? Someone else should be looking at that and saying Yep, egregiously blown call. Correct it right now and get on with the game. One second we're done here. One look and we're done. The answer is more of that not less. Coaches managers. They don't get to decide this stuff. There's no reason they should. Once you get them involved, first of all that's not within their their list of things they're trained to do. They're finding ways to win games. That's what they know how to do. That's what they're trying to do, so they're going to use that system to their advantage, which is not what it's meant to be. It is meant to make sure all the calls or write or as many of them as we can. So correctly egregious ones. Get on with your day. That should be easier. Not harder. It should move faster, Not slower. And it should be done not ignored. So they should rescind that technical on poor Zynga's. And they should have been able to do it during the game last night, so we didn't foul out. Again the breaking news this afternoon Gordon Hayward going to be out four weeks for the Celtics. I think that changes my pick. I had them winning the East. I think they don't get past Toronto now. He's playing at one of the best levels we've ever seen. I think Luca is that good? So it just got me to thinking I saw that sound right up on my screen, so I was listening to it. He just lets you know you're not gonna do that to my team maybe came to his defense, which he should So you know, you do escalate the situation. No, call you No keep playing good Tuesday morning, and this evening, he's favorite basketball team will play their first playoff game in over two. 1000 days. That would be the Los Angeles Lakers. But the other big team in L. A is creating waves this morning, John J. Will Zubin presented by progressive insurance. All guests join us on the shell Pennzoil performance line, including end a analyst Tim Legler, coming up at the bottom of the hour legs. It's a really interesting comments on call, I will get to hear In just a second. We'd like to throw out our number 88 say ESPN 887293776 the discussion this morning. Who's the real defending champion? The Raptor team collectively, or Kawai with the Clippers eventually will have A statue out in front of the arena in Toronto, but he's in a new locale. So who gets more credit the Raptor or Kawai and speaking of Kalai guys? It's hard to remember this. He won his first title in San Antonio Key at the age of 22 when he was the finals MVP. Now the finals MVP with the Raptor could do it again with the clip Alors, Legler says. If he does it three teams three titles, three MBPs. He would cement himself as an all time. Great. It seems hard to argue that that is, but even to me if he didn't do that, the fact that he did it twice. Is enough for me. He's got plenty of time in his career time. And then when you look at his position and a guy who's a 33 and D guy on both sides of the floor defensively, obviously, you could Argue if you want, but we know what that is, and then offensively, he could take the game into his own hands in a heartbeat. And I think you know this J. It's very hard to defend Cho why he has come a long ways from an offensive standpoint from when he first got into this league with San Antonio. All of a sudden he looks like a totally different office basketball player. You know what the headline will be? IFCO Islander wins his third championship on his third different team in his third finals MVP, which, by the way, nobody's ever he's entering the goat conversation. Inject his name in the goat conversation going there? Yes, yes, I mean. Last year, he averaged 30 points per game nine half rebounds and forces shot 49% from the field had to 40 Point games, took a team that was on the outskirts of the MBA to winning a championship in one year. In one year and then goes to a different team and then says hasty bomber Hey, Doc Rivers. Let's find somebody I can partner with. Hey, PG 13. You want to come onboard come over here and if they win it again. At that age, and he still has more runway left to go. He can only imagine his team is only going to get better and there's still be in the West. LeBron is getting older they're going to. He's going to enter that conversation. Well, I don't like all of everything that he said. But I do like the fact that he said he is entering that goat territory. The reason that people probably would go on, man, please. Is because of eyes low, demeaning personality. He doesn't He's not that guy who's out front. If you think about all the guys in our history that are considered the goals, whether it's a magic or LeBron or Kobe or or or Michael, their personality was so big that they got a plus for that, as well as they play on the court for anybody that wants to use the load management argument. How did we evaluate greatness in this society? It's not like he missing 50%. How do how do we evaluate Great woman Talk about Tom Brady? We talk about how many Super Bowls he wants a chance. Michael Jordan, how many championships he won. So now you're telling me three championships. LeBron James has three championships. But so if Quiet, gets three championships on three different teams and three finals MVP before LeBron James does That's going to interest. But I think even if he'd even Z of, even if he did or give a broad's going for force, even if he did it at the same time, or whatever the case, you know how hard it is to get one right but to take three different teams on your back. And finished the deal in three different locations. I mean, s obviously we've never seen something like that right and also the narrative that he's a super team stopper. Superteam stopper ICU today beat when he was playing the Spurs. It was super team right? Miami, right? 2014, who they beat when he wanted the next time, like Golden State 2019. So I'm saying if he found them in a problem area and if you get to this year, and it would be the Lakers, probably to get to the championship. That's right. Keyshawn Johnson, J. Williams even behead Tio here on ESPN radio, ESPN app. I want to ask you this because you spend so much time growing up in Southern California worked at our I am 7 10 affiliate out there. Sometimes this story is what makes it J. Sort of mentioned. The Raptors were on the fringes the hinterlands of the N ba Nana rose. Nobody wants to get traded to Tehran till right. Don't want to go there. Pop said. I'm sending you there. You don't like our medical staff find this one banishing you to Toronto, and it worked out for him on the flip side. Even better story than the Raptor, which is a great story. This is the 50th season of Clippers. Basketball. The 1st 49 have not gone great. Okay, They've never had owner. They've never been to the Western Conference finals. Obviously, they've never been to the embassy finals. So now he takes a team like this with the pathetic history who's known more for Clipper Darrell than any of the actual Clippers. Sterling Donald Sterling all that stuff. You tell me. Would this be the greatest story to author of all Because he would take one of the most lousy, embarrassing franchise in the history of the n ba to a championship? Absolutely. It will be right up there with the LeBron James Cleveland Cafs. Wow. You put it up there because LeBron left in Kate left with the owner being the way he wasn't Basically slap the owner in the face by coming back and winning the championship and see and see all that You'd say it and talk about me. Look what I've done for you. And now you, Daniel. But now when you look at Kawai A quarter. Kawai. Then they call it a PG to come and help in Paul George. And at the end of the day, they said to themselves, Okay, We got a guy here. They're going to build a new arena in Inglewood, California He's trying. He's from the Southern California area. So you package all that up. He's coming home to win a championship. He wins the championship at home. Thank you Say it. 50 years that organization was a dumpster fire. You went to you went to the in free agency. You basically would Goto Teo, the Clippers. To just pick up a check too, and go on about your business. So when you look at all of those sort of things that I have gone on with that organization. Doc Rivers now comes in alone with PG and alone required and deliver the goods in L. A Mind you now l A is still a Laker Laker town. No matter what the Clippers do in terms of one championship, they the history is already embedded in the Lakers. That's what it is. There's too many championships. The whole DNA is so callous, Ella, but they get a sliver. And he gets a statue..

with Wallace and it goes out of bounds all plans of Wallace and it'll come back to the university of Kentucky bill moved to the left side of the ball game they're wearing the white uniforms both numbers of things across the back Anderson president later at thirty eight fifty three years old is the last time these two teams played much in the thirties clustered around only a man the man is in the world no not players in Syracuse gets the ball for the first time it's one little bit site that time didn't get over the program to reduce coming down Kentucky giving impression rituals are since coming up on the losing side the past support we picked it back up got a total of ten ways to fall down looking for the shop thirty he'll go to the polls operating at spring to dump those don't go to the doctor double the one particular little purpose might not appear any supporters of the party they created a spot as the Wildcats turned the ball over they can say both things up a little bit tight knowing it is a big game and the the struggle out there a couple times up and down the voting to break a sweat you'll be fine Todd Burgan holds up the basketball to put it in play against the Kentucky pressure they do get a disability sensible off the walls you're still the back porch with the ball and we played forty five seconds this for example Wallace December moves against Tony got finished with a lot more than a few inches over Tony dot which is about four hours to the right side he'll he'll go right inside the circle circle of Patricia this means any war he is basically saying one with no score inside the first minute of the ball game and some of the due to the respect I believe these both coaches have for each other as well as the teams have for each other epidemic of fun for me to go with the three three left hand side of the job Donald Walker inside the program came on rebounds use the report right down the middle even the left hand side of the Bergen Bergen Belsen the on the right hand side going for the basketball and couldn't get a hold of it the on the floor concert usually take it out on the sideline but the Antoine Walker we thought it might do roaming the baseline just as we got the ball to go down yet Jim Boeheim as of six to one advantage all right between the time that they had been talking inside the walls this is a the service and Mexico is the next one the Wildcats its missile declines but Walker inside to good water support on a scale to refuse the appointment come running the other way once you got the court to the left hand side of the fashionable listens inside the hill hill double glazing on the baseline what people remember to pursue recusing himself he gets invited late but the Wildcats will also make a substitution Walker goes up and mark Pocan said an excellent double team on the low post player that's on hill and the the feeling the pressure both sides took the extra step we have played a minute fifty second service game Syracuse which it plans for up to nothing right side of the letters and numbers and looking at those in the market the big man in the back of the outside of the Korea like out of a party top left side of the ball well against Israel D. backs away now there's a couple that was in a different direction the back of the moves and fourteen seconds to back away one seven three in the championship game it is great to Kentucky yes give a little bit of pressure but not the reason for that is guarded by this is Madison coming across the bridge drive line for the orange one down the leg side of the bargain fix what rights and pulls up along the baseline got by everybody goes out of what was he pretty well sealed off and getting the ball yeah real good rotation on the weak side as well by the Kentucky defense down the office of in with Antoine Walker going outputs Walter McCarty roaming the base I'm probably a little better outside shooter posted Kentucky settled out up now the way it is advisable what side of the call to go down the Markle okay double teamed up on the base by the party comes up just like the doc about somebody coming back on the topic is the two three three it's in and out thirty five to be picked up by at seven times the McCarty the pope on the baseline back either way both of us side of the green with his own two reps it's giving it back at the pool side dropped the ball with it's picked up by guilt twenty three seconds we went to pull inside of a card against one to at the beginning of this again find your Syracuse comes back the other way again Sanderson pressurization Simpson it is you can use it he was like in your face and would not get away and since pushes him off mistreated since day before on the call by the official protection the other hand almost as if they're looking for Marcus Camby in the middle just a couple of easy shots down low with Syracuse is big inside more turnovers for Syracuse and so far Kentucky only has one reporter after walkers in the game and also freshman Ron Mercer comes in for Kentucky Mercer has the ball now in the middle of the basketball Kentucky needed by a score of fifty one the ball along the baseline got it back doctors on ABC's wings out on top gives the ball before they were sent out to the left side over to forget those further to the left wing to support on the baseline economic event Dr we all for the basketball as Walker Kentucky one one four Rick master clean her deductible leads us straight away of adults don't looking on the inside don't hang up right away let's say that let's have a look for the shot those and take those little better down the complacency with is going to Kentucky to open they come back down the right side of it I don't if we look with the whole Walker will push for the for the temple but to help you get the most of the Walker back out on top good deal inside to get a full full backing away over a dog for three point five he's got six points and the Wildcats needed play eight over Syracuse in the championship working with a basketball almost daily by adult picked up though by jerking down the cells inside the Kentucky come back the other way leading eight to four we have fourteen fifty three to go you're the first television timeout coming up at the next available the moves will only go trying to make a move in the paint all of a sudden he was open to realize it but the ball over number three we'll be back in the.

P. S. school for unsafe yes you heard me say that correct the concern was G. if we have squad cars parked outside the school some people might think that the school is unsafe heaven forbid that the actual presence of the officers in the school might tend to make it safer but we don't want people to think that it's unsafe our number four one four seven nine nine one six twenty that is the accurate mortgage talk and text line is it time for school systems including the largest school system in the state M. P. S. to re examine their policy against having police officers in the schools four one four seven nine nine one six twenty that is the accurate mortgage talking text line to me this is an absolute complete total no brainer school resource officers in my opinion make the schools safer to the extent that you have police officers that are in the schools see crimes being committed by juveniles and they're in a position to refer them to juvenile authorities are to adult authorities who cares why is that a bad thing isn't that something that we want instead of sweeping illegal criminal behavior under the rug when it's committed in the schools four one four seven nine nine one six twenty that's accurate mortgage talk and text line and look I I I hope I hope that what happened this week was just a complete and total aberration and we never ever ever have to talk about a situation another school shooting in Wisconsin I hope that's the case all right but I I don't think that's going to be the case because I frequently say I'd live in the real world so if something like that were to happen Adam PS wouldn't the kids be safer if there was a school resource officer present and if the only reason we really don't have on there is because he some people might see police cars parked in front of the building to think the school is unsafe that's a lousy reason for one four seven nine nine one six twenty we discussed in just a moment if you're on the line please hold on this is Jeff Wagner W. T. M. J. it's time of year again time to ensure every child has a memorable holidays and time to teach kids the spirit of giving this is so important as it gives back to kids who are less fortunate since kids the kids Christmas began at two thousand six.

"I don't know if you saw an image after he signed his contract, he grabbed his helmet and put it all on walking down the hall, and it was just there was an energy in the building that day. And he definitely was a big big reason for you also made some moves it wide receiver. John Brown, coal Beasley. What will they bring to the buffalo offense? Well, first of all they'll bring experience, you know, we had a younger crew guys last year just where we were in. The in the build, but Beasley even though they're they're both small John Brown will bring a vertical threat for us. And then Beasley will work the middle. So two guys that have experienced that. We'll be dependable cold. That's the thing. I always knows about him on tape is he runs his route so precise. And I thought of the slot guys that were available. He was the guy that was the quickest immediate separator, you know, at the top of his route, especially on those inside option routes, the guys don't know if he's going inside or out, and and so I think he'll be a guy for Josh that Josh can always know if things break down. I know we're Kohl's going to be if if the routes call from run six yards, and then he'll be right where he's supposed to be. And that's a lost. Art, some guys don't run their route depths to especially as young players. And I think that happened a little bit the Josh last year, and then, you know, John Brown, we we were in on John a year ago before we sign well Baltimore. But the thing is he and his agent and told us was he was looking. For approve at deal and our quarterback situation was unsettled in. So he decided to go to Baltimore and play with Flaco. So it made sense sound reasoning. We were you know, we had the draft yet. So it's funny. How it works out a year later to get John? What will John Brown at your offense? You know, he'll definitely add the vertical threat for us. You know, we had Robert Foster last year, but you can't add too much beat. And you know, a guy that defenses will have to be aware of getting deep because our guy can make that throw even if it's sixty seventy yards down field. Josh implant in fire. And so I think, you know, it's exciting to add another guy like like, a Robert Foster a smaller version to be that vertical threat and open up the middle for coal Tyler Kroft and anybody else that works underneath we're talking about wide receivers. And obviously one of those story lines that set in motion the chain of events that led to Colby's Lee and led to John Brown. Was Antonio Brown not wanting a buffalo when you look back on that? Now, what do you take from that experience? And what are you? Think of everything that transpired their first off everything happens for a reason. And so. Shonan are always going to look for ways. If we see a guy that's a talented player. We're always going to look into it and see the particulars of why the players up for trade, how he would fit schematically how he would fit culture wise. And so obviously the talent is there. You know? He's a. He's one of the top receivers in the league. And obviously that was an area of need for us. So we looked into it at the end of the day. It wasn't the right fit with all the parameters that we needed to meet compensation wise, pick wise, and so we looked into it. But it didn't happen. And we're glad with where we're at dealing get close. No, no, no. I mean at the end of the day when you to do a deal like this you have to agree to terms with a team. And then you also have to agree with the agent on what the compensation is going to be are they coming at that package or are they expecting a new deal, which she ultimately got. So you know, we were never able to close it knowing that I wasn't comfortable with the full package of things you brought up Josh Allen. How would you assess where he's at going into his second year? Right. Josh improved during the year..
