"Almost made me wonder if that's why he has died his hair that color like he just constantly paying some sort of respect to Liverpool. I think it's respect to the memory of diplomat and former bulls basketball player Dennis Rodman. Bob. Bob with ROY Bob was gonna announce that he's going to foreign country to try and off the cuff create diplomatic relations, just like Rodman. I will give him credit though, in that he at what is he thirty two is a really good player. I he all he's found this almost like new career. Like, you said, he's traveled the world. And now has found his way back to England and the Netherlands where he got caught up to the national not just called up has played excellently for them. And particularly in the nation's leagues lash friendly's. But like who would have thought I Andrew when I saw him picked in the nation's the squad in the fall. I was I had no idea. I thought he'd retired. I thought this was like his son seriously. I I don't know about that look. Okay. I had no idea he was in Turkey, but I had not been following his career. And that's on. Trying to be just be dramatic to show you how his career has drifted. I say I say the one thing with foam, though. And look I know that they almost got a point against Liverpool who are one of the best teams in Europe. So this is a little bit unfair to watch this game and say this, but may especially in the first half. You know, there's that buzz word that people use in soccer. I hear analysts all the time. They courage is showing courage, and sometimes I think to myself like is that just like, it's my soccer brain, just not evolved enough to know what that means is that just some word that like proper football men as you put it used to make themselves sound smart. And then I'm watching this game. And like a like a burst of light JJ. It all just hit me. Launching PFM. No, there's I I'm proper football man IT in training. And they're like, I'm watching Fulham, and there's just so many moments where you know, they'll get the the ball in the counter, they'll take it off Liverpool and they're getting a midfield. And I'm looking for that next pass to move the ball from the middle third into the final. Right. And they they just utterly refused to make it time and time again, and I give credit to grandma. So it was on the call who pointed out, you know, how up and here we go back to the keeper again, you know, it's like they get to midfield and then reverse back back back past back end to the keeper and Liverpool now reset defensively. And it's like whatever rush was on for Fulham. It just never even happened. And it was so frustrating to watch it, and I guess that is why they're in the position they're in because their defenses shambles all they have to rely on their attack. But if they're attack is showing, no, courage. Then what are they? John Giles regularly on TV talked about moral courage, like the courage to get on the demand the ball on play that posture talking about it's a real thing you have to do it. Otherwise, what happens you end up giving the ball back planet round an ultimately with a team like Liverpool presses somewhat. They're gonna win the ball back. It's that simple. It's amazing to me scattergun approach to building this team that they never got linkman a player who could come in into that midfield and link all those elements together. Well, I thought John Michael Serey could have been that guy. And in the beginning of the season there were moments where I thought he was but as the seasons progressed, he's not a bad player. But I don't think he's risen to the level. They they had hoped. I also let's talk about the goalkeeper's. Well, who ultimately handed Liverpool the win. I think that's one of the worst performances I've ever seen in the primarily. I literally was was was three ways. I thought we're gonna win this in the end we're going we're going to get a set piece. We're gonna get deflation or ahead or something like that. And he's going to give us something. I was saying it in my mind..

President Trump tweets he's sending secretary of state Mike Pompeo to Saudi Arabia immediately to talk to the king in person about the disappearance of a journalist. A new report finds fewer kids getting their shots nationally. It's estimated one hundred thousand young children have been vaccinated against fourteen diseases for which shots are recommended. You're never more than fifteen minutes away. From today's top stories on Arizona's news station. KTAR news. All right. Tim up in about fifteen minutes here at nine o'clock. It is Bruce St James and Pamela Hughes. You guys going to be talking about President Trump's here. Okay. We have our KTAR legal analysts. So I got a mind my Ps and qs. What that means? But I'm gonna mind she could this file a lawsuit against you at any terrified of Monica Lindstrom on a variety of of levels. Trump coming here Friday to Mesa gateway he came here during the campaign, but before he was president. He did a a rally at basic remember because the Trump plane was the background. Am I remembering that crazy? Yeah. And he did it in a hangar there. Yeah. Airport hangar, half an hangar half outside. There's this stage set up, I'm assuming it'll be something similar. Yeah. Yeah. Absolutely. And you know, for for us the question is who who's going to be there? And maybe more importantly who who won't be there who will be on stage with Trump during the rally getting his endorsement and who will. Politely. Find out that their schedule is full reason. I say that is. Yeah. Please. Correct me if I'm wrong, I don't believe governor Ducey has ever been standing next. He's been it events, but never like the opening act, and then he's like all right coming up. And then he leaves are greeted at the airport at the airport, but he hasn't necessarily been in the midst of one of these. I could certainly make an argument that it appears governor ducey's far enough ahead. I don't know if this would help or hurt him. I think certainly congresswoman mcsally will be on stage there. She needs some sort of basically for her name, which is why I asked governor Ducey about that when he was on with us last week. I said, I'm sure he gives you a very solid answer basically said that he's gonna show up show. He'll definitely show up. And and I think he's he's given this answer before, you know, he he he welcomed President Obama when when the president came here is he going to stand next to him on. I think the reason he might is because because of his support from Arthur MC Sally. Okay. I it'll be interesting. There's other congressional candidates. And obviously some close that's the mayor John Giles. So the mayor of Mesa morning, if you would go he said, he admitted might it. So there you have it. He said he would go isn't that funny? I'm just I think the excuses alone would be kinda funny. Well, I wasn't invited. It's open to the public. Yes. But I was waiting for an infant organize my sock drawer. Yeah. I get a my lawn cetera. So that's coming up on Friday. I think it'll be fundamentally different from the one that we had a year ago where we had all the craziness and the and the and the violence and protests in whatever. Yeah. In in downtown Phoenix. I don't I don't get a sense that you're gonna have the same level of. Israel and insanity. Right. I really don't know. Well, and the mayor did tell us also this morning, John Giles mayor Mesa said there's going to be first amendment opportunities. You know, they have a first amendment pen. Remember, they had that at the at the RNC was RNC and DNC they both had these like fenced off areas where you could exercise your first amendment. Was pretty funny. I I did I didn't think that was pretty funny. Here's a here's the mayor of Mesa. John giles. We talked earlier this morning on Arizona's morning news because Mesa is going to host the president on Friday is a Martha mcsally rally at Mesa gateway airport, which is a different setup than the last time. The president was here rallying which was this summer ago when he was in downtown Phoenix. And all golly, gosh, heck broke loose in downtown Phoenix. You know with people throwing things and tear gas and pepper balls. You name it. But John Giles points out the mayor of Mesa that this is a different setup. You know? This is not like downtown Phoenix. This isn't Mesa gateway airport. And this is not the first time. He's he's done things within this format may recall during the campaign he came out and had a similar event that at Mesa gateway airport. So that is Mark controlled environment. The security is probably easier to control. So I I don't think you'll see a real disruptive event when the president comes, but you have to balance safety with people's first amendment rights. I mean, people have a right to come out and protest. So how how how can handle that? Well, I think we're going to do very well to makes police department is a big sophisticated organization and they've worked with the secret service and the national security folks in the past, and I absolutely everyone will that the first amendment are opportunities will be available for for both sides of the political debate. And this is not our first rodeo, I think where the Mesa's well prepared for this. We've done it before. And when we welcome the spotlight, by the way, the mayor did not deny when I suggested he was a bit of a Trump skeptic, even though he's a Republican and also said that he has not officially been invited to that rally at but said if he was he would definitely accept the invitation and show up there to welcome the president to the third largest.
