I think one of the great things about Jeff Lynne, he's sort of able to become Member of the band metal band he's works with so You listen to any of his projects that the signature is all over the serendipitous that we actually met up. And he asked me if I did one kind of track sometimes. Oh, yeah. Soon as you got the track backers like when we do in the next one. Even Jeff was surprised when he got the track. I was like, Wow, we've got tons of other songs, and so I would send Demo that Jim and I would have written and then sending the files and then Jeff would use whatever he wanted to, and replace whatever you wanted to send back a master. Data from the Department of Health and Human Services shows that 101,000 hospital beds are occupied by people receiving treatment for the virus. That's a 147% increase from four weeks ago, and the first time that the number has been that high since January, some hospitals had to turn people away because they don't have enough beds to treat both virus patients and those seeking care for unrelated issues. "Now all the sudden, you know, uh, The story. They've kind of stop talking about it because there's evidence to say that their assertions and the media are falls and you know they've got they've got 700 people in a place. Designed for no more than 60 people right on, And this is under the Biden administration, not under the Trump administration, and I still have a hard time believing that these kids came, you know? 700 miles walking on foot, and they have Cell phones that work in the United States as well. E mean? Wow, How does that happen? Exactly. I mean, I travel and I have to go and get you know special things to get my phone to work, and it's It's not an easy task that concept for money. But these air starving kids that were able to walk that far and cross multiple Country boundaries go through security checks go through passport places all supposedly, I am John Doctor. I had a guy on earlier from Mar a Lago, Florida who's an American citizen who had a cell phone that he bought. In America, and it was a terrible connection. So mean, we they probably have cell phones that worked better than his did absolutely, absolutely, is pretty scary. You know when you think about that, and what are they not telling us? And that's that's the key thing here because a lot of these kids did not come up with their family so they couldn't be Separated. In fact, that would that's the new spin with by the administration is what we didn't separate him. They were already separated, so we didn't separate him. So we're just keeping him safe, even though the same was true during the bite the Trump administration But of course, the media was in charge of the narrative. And they were so anti trump by the way, interesting piece and I'm gonna mention this with my friend Karen Catalin here in a little bit tonight, Dr Huber, but In the last five weeks. Guess what's happened to CNN's ratings. They plummeted. Well, they're down. They're down. 45%. MSNBC is down. 26% Fox news ratings haven't fallen at all. But the networks, the major news networks, so cold news networks. The fake news network's ratings have plummeted since they don't really have Donald Trump to put front and center anymore, And I predicted this was gonna happen if Donald Trump lost the election ord. We were told Donald Trump lost the election because now they don't have anybody to bully anymore. And the people who are watching those channels don't get their daily fix of Trump hate It's happened. You know what's funny is not, you know, doing media and stuff. I find that the people who get angry at me the most of the ones who are my most ardent fans. I mean, they're the ones who click on things and stay there and give make my my websites and everything else get more attention because they spend more time on it. And so please, you know, please. Yeah. Yeah. Continue to hate on Dr Huber, please. All right, so hang on. We're gonna take a quick break and we'll come right back. Dr. John Huber, forensic psychologist. "I'm John Baxter. This is the John doctor show breaking news to by Iran said on Monday. Within these hours, it will block snap inspections by the U. N nuclear watchdog a from next week if other parties to the 2015 nuclear deal the JCP away. Do not uphold their obligations, which is understood by the Reuters wire as a challenge to US President Joe Biden's hope of reviving the Iran deal. Well, I welcome Richard Goldberg, who is going to help us understand that incredibly chock full of concepts. Paragraph I just read from Reuters. Richard is a senior adviser with the foundation for the Defense of Democracies. Former official of the National Security Council in an earlier administration, Richard, It would appear that Mr Bynes administration, Mr Sullivan, his national security advisor, have a new challenge. We're going to stop. Snap inspections. In other words, we're going to block the IAEA's ability to know whether we are not in compliance with the JCP away this following news last week. That Iran is ready to begin re processing again with the better the better processing tools that they have at their disposal that were said to be locked up or not to be used anymore. So is this negotiating as usual? You say you want to talk and we say we're we don't want to talk. Good evening to you. Good evening, John. I think that's exactly right. Theirry Nian regime knows that Divide administration is signaling an eagerness to go back into the Iran nuclear deal. That, of course, requires major sanctions relief to be delivered to the regime. And what the regime needs Most. The sanctions relief because of the maximum pressure campaign and because they continue to be squeezed of financial resource is and so they are trying to escalate as quickly as they can across multiple channels without crossing any sort of red lines that might incur in Israeli military strike. To create political pressure to create headlines and to try to make it urgent for the Biden administration to deal with the Iranian nuclear crisis. They obviously want this to be politically. Helpful to divide administration to justify sanctions relief immediately. There's also an alternative path the bite administration could take and that is to work with European allies. To increase pressure on Iran and say that these steps are simply unacceptable and that Iran must come back in tow compliance with international standards and beyond, as they look towards a newer and better deal. Unfortunately, for now, it does seem like we are headed towards Past mistakes of the Obama administration and returning to the JCP away the Iran nuclear deal on I think that is what the Iranians right now we're trying to incentivize rich..

These commercials s so much fun. We have fun for you. All We do. Really, Andre, We have to get to this song. Max. Tell me about your selection. What a beautiful. Isn't it obvious? Isn't it obvious? I think it's an appropriate song to get the audience up lifted. And you know, I I as well as you, Steven. I know we're always on the peace train. We're always looking for love and light and, you know, moving forward. We're not dwelling on the past. We're not sitting there thinking down about things were only ever thinking about forward movement and the peace train. So actually, that's all cat Stevens 1971. And what's interesting that I learned doing a little research is that he wrote that song while in the train thinking about of all people, Alfred Hitchcock because Alfred Hitchcock had a lot of Movies that were trained related or stories that were trained related. So just an interesting tidbit. That's where he wrote that song. I also understand There was a bit of controversy about that song in his life in general. But let's not judge him for that. Let's enjoy the song because the song is what it is The peace train peace train piece of that's true and it's actually I'm glad you you're You know, People may not know these surprises Study had no idea this was gonna happen, and I wanted to actually start today after we talked about the song, which is fat, but I love that song. Was to start with a prayer If it's alright with you. I know that's not like me. But one condition. One condition. You can't end it with a man and a women. All right, you gotta you gotta pick one, okay? That's true, but but we definitely for me, especially this episode. Um, it's important to start with something. You know if if not for me, maybe there's one other person out there that would also benefit from from these words. I didn't write it myself. But I'd like to deliver it to you now. Max is all right. Yes, all right. Um Give us courage. To change what must be altered. The serenity. To accept what cannot be helped. And the insight. To No. One. From the other. Amen. Thank you. I love you all. Thank you very much with pressure that I love it. You got me all choked up here. We're gonna take a little drink of water here. Why the prayer? Why today, you know As you know, as we went to our opponent Ponyo episode of If you Want to take a back and look at that. And you know any time things go on externally. I was internalized them so for me This time with all you know, both the country, the country really split. It's a good time to remember that there is a lot of things in this world that each one of us Don't have a direct impact on that. We just can't change, however. There are many, many, many, many things that we can impact directly and everyone. Everyone listening has the power to do that. And what would I ask for here in this prayers for the courage to allow us and we have a big battle today, so You know our topic and I didn't mean a trick Anyone about the free marijuana, But we're not giving away free marijuana in Maryland. But we're talking about liberating legalizing it, Right. Right. That's what we mean. We mean Unrestrained it, let it go and legalize it and let it be available. Right? So we have some guests today on the show one or two guests. At least. Luke Jones, executive director at Maryland, Normal is going to join us today on door Mel's stands for National Organization for the reform of marijuana walls. He's going to discuss the current and potential future of marijuana not only in the country but also even more specifically in the state of Maryland. Yeah, I'm looking forward to that ship. Um, hopefully in a few minutes, we have Kevin addicts. He's going to give us an update on the hemp industry. Great. In Maryland, there's a new legislative session. In Maryland. I know that there's some bills that are definitely going to be impacting that industry for us in Maryland, no doctors corner this week, but you'll be happy to hear next week. Max. What's next week? "90 am King. You GM? I'm John. But so this is John Doctor, So I welcome Dr Henry Miller of the Pacific Research Institute. He's a physician, Henry Miller, MD dot org's Where to watch for Henry's articles. I'm looking to most recently a publication in human events about little known facts about the pandemic, the cove in 19 pandemic, and first we go to something that Henry is reflected upon in the past. But I want to focus on that. The differences between the vaccines now available the Fizer Beilin, tec vaccine and the medallion of Vaccine. There's talk of a Johnson and Johnson. There's other talk there. Things coming, but these two right now Being distributed to the state and to the sovereign states of the world, Henry a. Very good evening to how do we approach these two? If we have a choice Distribution is rough Coast to coast, so there isn't always a choice, but What would be your recommendation? First of all for people over 65. Good evening to you, Doctor. Good evening, John. My recommendation would be for people over 65. If you have a choice, I I suggest you opt for the visor by romantic vaccine, And the reason is that the clinical trials As they were reported in the New England Journal of Medicine. There's a very nice table on it indicates that For people under 65 between 18 and 65. The efficacy is 96%, whereas for persons over 65 It's only 86.4%. And, uh, now the numbers are relatively small. But the statisticians that I've consulted about this are impressed that it's on suggests that it's probably Signature statistically significant. So, um, you're really much better off if those numbers hold up as their clinical trials are completed with the divisor vaccine. The visor vaccine is preference for people over 65. Okay, That's very clear because here in New York and there are other states have said this, and the national government now has said it. They're recommending everyone over 65 is now eligible for the vaccine. So if you have a choice You follow this now, Henry, Here is something that over the course of the last year and you've been my God, I'm not entirely understood. But I do. Take the point. Corona virus. Vaccines are not a new thing. In fact, they cooked them every year for the flu. But the Madonna and Fizer vaccines are not new, but they're novel. How so, Henry? Well, let me make a small correction. Corona virus vaccines are not for the flu..

"Former chief medical officer for Harris Taking your calls on covert 19 lockdowns all points in between. At 802 22 k A B c 1 802 225222 Let's begin with Richard. Richard. You're on K A B. C. Welcome. Really? And thank you for being a voice of reason and clarity In this time I had the flu back in April be was so I would like to get a anybody test. My doctor won't give it to me. So you know what I can get one Also if I don't have any other bodies We're going to get a prescription for Ivor Mexican to use as a proof preventative. Well, if you think majority has, you know, getting the antibody test is great, and there are lots of places that do it. The quest labs will do it. Um, you know, your doctor generally needs to write a prescription for it. But if you call the quest labs or lab one, which you could just find in the phone book, you could simply ask them if they are offering antibody tests. On most places. You need to have a prescription, but not everywhere because we're really encouraging people to get tested. Parental bodies s so that we can help to prioritize who should actually get a vaccine. If you have the antibodies, then I wouldn't worry so much about getting a prescription for something like I ever Mactan or That you have a significant degree of immunity. We aren't sure how long is the body's lasts, But we have every reason to believe that they would last for at least a year or more. So, starting with the antibody testing is great. There aren't a lot of positions unfortunately, who have been willing to prescribe I ever met in and Tremendous evidence that they are highly effective and there are large areas of the globe. Now that we're using those medications. Prophylactically, including large areas in India and Belgium, right now is rolling out a plan to give out prophylactic. I've ERM act into their entire country, so hopefully that will become easier and easier to get here in the United States. Let's go to John John. You're on K A B. C. Welcome. My question is, I might question is, um what a flu test. Like if you had the flu with that triggers like a covert positive test to me. Why are there so many in L? A county just seems like something odd. Um, I know they're they're different tests. Oh, no. If you are have influenza, the test should be able to differentiate between influence and covert 19. The issue is that the covert 19 tests they're using this test that we refer to as the PCR. It's a nasal swab test. They are using what we call a cycle rate that is so high that it what it does is it amplifies any tiny inv Intestinal insignificant little bit of covert 19 virus particle that they might get from your nose or your mouth? Your throat? And that will read out the positive. That doesn't mean that the virus that they swab picked up is actually capable of replicating, meaning multiplying. It doesn't mean it's capable of being transmitted to other people, and it sure as heck doesn't mean that that's virus that's capable of causing disease. So the analogy that I've used in the past is it's kind of like finding a hair on the floor of in the room where somebody was months ago in coming to the conclusion Wolf the Harris here that person must still be in the room here somewhere. Where we all know that That's just silliness is just a remnant of something that was there a long time ago and doesn't represent the person just some remaining remnant. Let's go to David. David. You're on K A B. C. Welcome. Thank you for taking the call. You guys were amazing. Enjoy the show. I have Ah, granddaughter. That's four. And she got exposed at her preschool last Wednesday. And the teacher got, Um uh, tested with Cove it on Saturday. And so we were just wondering about what we should do is for the holidays are concerned because we were gonna have but dinner on Thursday, and we have two elderly people about 78 that come as well as my daughter who's hosting it that she's the aunt of the one that got exposed. She's eight months pregnant, so I was just curious what your opinion was on. The risk of, you know, taking that Thursday dinner on I would say my truly my honest experience opinion on this is that the risk is essentially zero. Your daughter who's four was exposed to somebody We don't even know if she was explosive, significant amounts of the virus Children. Simply are almost zero risk of getting the virus and they absolutely do not pass it on to others. We've no net from all of our data from countries all around the globe that there simply are not cases of Children, particularly that young. You might argue with me if somebody was 17, or 18 and close to adulthood. But a four year old is not going to spread that virus to somebody else. If I were concerned about elderly parents, I would tell you I honestly see that as essentially a zero risk, which is not to say that people couldn't have been exposed elsewhere. Elderly grand parents or other people could be exposed at any other stop they made during the day. But it sure as heck isn't coming from the risk of your four year olds exposure at preschool. Let's go toe. Alan Alan, you're on K A B. C. Welcome. John Doctor, and I want to thank you both for the service. Did you perform for the city and for whoever is listening? My question is I'm 79 years old, Relatively good health. I've heard that there's um, condition if you take a blood thinner. Doctor. What's your opinion about that? I'm not sure what you mean. A condition that puts you at risk if you take a blood thinner or that, you know, I'm not sure what your question is. Is that what you're concerning? Well, I heard that there were some complications for people to take blood thinners. That's my case. Yeah, I would say the opposite one of the things that we do in the early treatment protocols for people's Cove. It is. We put them on a blood thinner. One of the concerning risks of people who have cove. It is that it can start what we a cascade of problems where people developed blood clots. They can develop blood clots in their fingers and toes. Or they developed blood clots in their brains, their hearts or their lungs. So generally one of the things that we recommend that people do for prophylaxis meaning to prevent getting cove it or if they think that they've got it early on, is to take a baby aspirin because of its function as a blood thinner and one of the things we absolutely do if patients are sick enough to be put in the hospital, is to put them on a blood center. You have a question for Dr Kelly Victory. Give us a call at 802 22 k A B C 1 802 2 to 5 to two to more of your calls coming up, But right now it's time to take a look at the roads. Hey, ABC. "This is John Doctors are Michael Flynn. General Michael, who you all could assume several weeks ago was free of the persecution and the abuse. By bad actors in the Obama administration and their helpmates free of it, But it's not true. We learn in these last hours that the D. C Court of Appeals, which is a very esteemed court is going to hear on bank that it means all members. We're going to hear a presentation by well because of the federal judge Emmet Sullivan, who wants to review the decision by the Department of Justice to release Michael Flynn from his obligations because the prosecution of Michael Flynn, according to the Department of Justice, was ill founded. There's more detail here. But you all understand that Michael Flynn was one step away from being a free man once more and under no obligation and under no threat of sentencing, But The hesitation so sub I goto a suspicion that my my colleague Andy McCarthy endorses when I asked him. This looks like a stalling game. It looks like they're Setting up to drag this out past the election because they don't want Michael Flynn on the road. He's a very effective campaigner. You campaign with him, SEB. Do you suspect? The Democrats think that this is going to keep Mike Flynn on the sidelines? It's the only possible justification. The majority of the 11 judges on the D C Circuit court would me to approve Judge Sullivan's petition to allow for a rehearing off the case. And the re hearing of the case is an absurdity. The Department of Justice has stated that there is no predicated there was no crime committed on the mandamus brief states to the judge. Judge Sullivan must do his job and vacate the charges. They know that this man is highly effective. It reminds me of a child in the UK There was a cartoon character I usedto. Reid called Judge Dredd from a dystopian future on he was painted as judge, jury and executioner in one office. That was a fictional science fiction future. Judge Sullivan thinks he gets to be Judge Dredd, Not in America. Not today. This is simply a time. An attempt to play the clock out, John, we turn to Joe Biden, the campaigner who's leading in the polls nationally and an important battleground states. And yet, said, I use a baseball analogy. Forgive me because it's baseball season when and if they play now and again, and when the Nationals play an away game at home. It's all very confusing, however, in baseball. If you're leading four to nothing or five to nothing in the fourth inning, the baseball says, Put the game away. Don't let them back in. Don't make an error. Don't give them four outs because they'll chip away at you. And pretty soon you'll lose the game 7 to 4. That's where Joe Biden is. According to the polls, he can put the game away and yet The mystery. He remains in his Basement, and he's cautious about speaking. And this week we saw display that was puzzling because after he made what you'd have to say, we're general remarks. About his program. You can go on to the Web site and read these general remarks. We saw in a photograph the notes that he taken to to Teo, the diocese and the notes were unusual. Let me put it that way. Very unusual. And the notes encouraged the doubts that have been raised for months about Joe Biden's health. We don't have any facts, Sepp we just have this puzzle, and the puzzle includes the debate. It includes the campaign. It includes the whole way the camp the Biden campaign is conducting itself. No, I want Joe Biden to be healthy because I think his ideas Are not adequate for the American people, but we want the vote to be an endorsement of Donald Trump. We don't want the vote to be on the basis of the fact that Joe Biden's not eligible because of health What do you here in Washington about Joe Biden's health? Well, I hear things that you were being very chair. I mean to be, I mean to be were, you know I'm a 72 year old. He's a 77 year old. We all have memory problems. There's no video of you and I have a witness that myself of you being being manhandled out of a store by your staff because You look at the photo of the video just two days ago off him having to be led by the hand looked like a geriatric. I mean, seriously, this is the man who the Democrats want to give the nuclear launch codes to and they have these churlish his cards, no cards that were photographed. Looked like something from a preschool debate club. Yes, not not for a serious politician in any country, So I'll just say one thing with regard to the Poles join if I may. I'd ask your listeners just to do the common sense test who out there when approached by an anonymous pollster by Elektronik Lee on the phone in today's environment off Cancel culture and T friend BLM would admit to voting for President Trump. The Poles are like phrenology don't believe in the campaign has to put its finger out. And get its messaging to be far more effective than it was on the Brad Powell scout. But pose it's a dead size the vice presidency. The vice presidency does not win elections. That's what history says it can hurt you. However, it can damage the momentum you build up. Right now. We're waiting the Biden campaign to name a vice president. I don't have any favorites. I don't have any insider track. The vice president, Mr Biden has committed himself to a female member of the Democratic Party. Do you hear any favorite SEB at all in Washington? I every week is a topic of discussion on my show and on its such in a nark it campaign of the Biden campaign that every week it's another potential candidate. And some names that we've never heard of before. It demonstrates to you how lazy how unthought through the whole campaign is the fact that three weeks ago because of the rioting and the whole anti police attitude, Tamala Harris, Khun be written off. Good, and now she's at the top of the list the list again, It is absolutely unpredictable, and that itself is an indictment of the state of Democratic politics. You're running off services committee. You're on it a majority whip tell us the world besides the virus this go around the world. Iran has Iran has shot some missiles at our soldiers in Afghanistan China. Nobody's saying anything because I think the president is trying to be as is you can't control or antibiotics but there's gotta be somebody who say scratched ahead at say. How guilty to Chinese congressman your floor. Well first of all I wanNA thank you John. I had made history your interview with Dhaka instantly. See who we all appreciate on January. Twenty six is is so critical because in that interview John Doctor. Faustus indicated a direct quote. It's very very low. Risk to the United States. This was an interview with you. This is an historic interview because it actually clarifies that all of the fake news From New York Times from Cnn from the Washington Post. It's all untrue that interview clarifies that indeed the American people had Were being misled as you Actually correctly identified by the World Health Organization and the People's Republic of China particularly the Communist Party C. C. P. of China They had Concealed this information but your interview clarified that indeed. Republicans and Democrats should be working together and not be subject to fake news and Talk Radio John y'all performed such a wonderful service supervised the truth in the midst of chaos and misinformation and propaganda. And so I'm so grateful for your service showing Hannity Rush Limbaugh Mark Levin Also local radio talk shows at home and then Fox News and so thank you because John Your interview of January Twenty. Six twenty twenty will go down in history as very important so that we could actually discuss the issues before us and put aside all the propaganda and political backstabbing Mister Curry. Oh Tech could congressman now. A president trump was the first one to start monitoring Chinese coming into America. He set up people. Picking Sap is Cisco Los Angeles and a JFK AIRPORT. And if if he was criticized for that he was called all kinds of names by the Washington. Post by The New York Times. And if he didn't do that I would say ten times amount of people that are sick today or dying today would have died. What say you on your John? You're absolutely correct. The president on January thirty first key announced they bar to persons travelling from China. That was a very. That's another historic event. The president acted firmly. It never occurred before. It's not like we bar people from A country where we have seven thousand visitors a day coming from that country and so the president was very courageous and indeed. The are far left accused him of being Ben. Bobick of being racist John even that was disingenuous Chinese or not erase their nationality. And and it's the people have oriental race and so the level of hateful is To me I call it trump derangement syndrome. There are people and we saw that with the killing of Sola money that the Enemy of President Trump Then defended their weight. Needs now tragically. The trump derangement syndrome has Carried on to where now almost defending the virus in over and over again people need to remain calm and focused in and stop this partisan attacks and and that's why I talk radio and John Your program makes such a difference Pacu. I'm not gonNA blame me. Asian people are not going to bring the Chinese. I think it's whether it's ten thousand twenty thousand one hundred thousand communist party Chinese that's causing. Whoa this at making the Chinese people suffer at baking the rest of the world suffer for what they do John. You're dead corrected. In fact we don't know how many millions of Chinese people citizens have been Affected because the Communist Party it's authoritarian state. They don't allow free information We know that they arrested and incarcerated the first physician who bravely pointed out that this was going on and So it's a real touch. It is that the Communist Party to maintain their total control of the Wonderful people have China I I've been there. My Dad served in World War. Two joining with applying tigers and. He always told me how much she loved the people. I've seen on chunk to in Kunming. The president acted firmly positively to protect the people of China and protect the people of America. I agree with you. One hundred percent Congressman there's so many things going on all over the world. Is there a particular area you want to talk about and to bring an this Easter Sunday print revelations to the American people of something. Maybe they don't know well I do. And that is that This time as we are wishing our dear friends Happy Passover Happy Easter indeed. The people of Iran are suffering due to the dictatorship. They have there. But the dictatorship there is making every effort to further their efforts to promote if they're a death to Israel death to America and they're proceeding by providing rockets to the to the Iranian militias of a rock to attack our forces in Iraq would also Iranian Financed initiatives are underway in Afghanistan to attack our military forces there and we know that they're providing additional missiles to Home Office that Gaza and Hezbollah in Lebanon so Iran is trying to divert attention from the incompetence of their Totalitarian State and I'm so hopeful for the people of Iran that they will see through this and as the government of Iran in. Tehran is concealing level of death We can actually by satellite say that trenches being dug for the Providing of burial of persons who have been killed by the krona virus in Iran without the people of Iran being told of how serious this is and how incompetent they're totalitarian government is are trying to push us into a war well. The good news is that The president made it very clear. It's called peace through strength by rebuilding our military As the president's correctly said We were not We had not been prepared but we are now and I. The president was very firm last week and and very clear that didn't require any interpretation. He told Iran they must not take any action against the American personnel or against our allies. Iraq or there will be a extraordinarily response. And we've seen that that did cause them to stand down and so I'm really proud of president. Trump's the theory of all of this is what Ronald Reagan established and. That's peace through strength now. The last sixty days the world has been turned topsy. Turvy one virus. A to financial buckets and three the argument between a Putin and Saudis and taking the oil markets and turning topsy turvy to the extent where they can put out the bankrupt. Seven your parking companies in the oil business what say you about this indeed I'm really hopeful that good can come out of this to John and that Russia itself has been described as a nation as a service station Masquerading as a nation They are so dependent on oil exports to provide for the modernization of There are forces threatening the American people. And so I'm really hopeful that as a President Putin has dispute with The king and Kingdom of Saudi Arabia. That this will have a negative effect on Russia. But you're right and also has an effect on America and I'm grateful that the president has recognized this in with the Efforts TO MAINTAIN JOBS IN AMERICA OF THE PRESENT Will be a stepping in and Either by way of Taras or purchases on strategic for the Strategic Petroleum Reserve again. We can use this To the benefit of the American people and hopefully to the people of Russia that they too could have the opportunity of having a free and open. Society Congressman. "More of the John Batchelor shots actually sign KGO eight I'm John doctor Henry Miller senior fellow at the Pacific research and publishing the Wall Street journal last out about the testing under way for the virus covert nineteen and what else can be done to lead to revelation and in future rabbits and right a very good evening to you the tests that are under way we're are described as drive through results in twenty four to forty eight hours that that test come back positive or negative positive meaning that you are struggling or a patient of covered nineteen but you're talking about an entirely different kind of test how so have a good evening to good evening John well the the tests that are being done in this country which by the way were woefully late and then coming online or as you said yes or no and what they measure is the viral RNA order fragments of RNA and there's it's good to tell you if there's active infection or there's been very recent infection hence the fragments but it has limitations because once a patient has been infected and recovered and cleared the ordinary detest becomes negative so in fact if what you're looking for it is the number of people who have been infected in the population you're getting a false negative without tax so what you really need to do is a different kind of test what's called a serological tests that means a test on on blood it looks for antibodies to the coronavirus ladies that have been raised up by the infection itself and so it's what we see is what you see for example after vaccination you get antibodies route to the to whatever it is the active ingredient is similar in the backseat so what we're going to need to do is to have peace serological tests a couple of which are under development at the CDC and which already are being used not this particular test but the other serological test were developed in other countries in Singapore and in China so what we're going to need those to ascertain what the penetrance has been in the population of the country the coronavirus infections Henry would this be true for for example the anecdote is that younger people who contract the virus may not notice it at all or may move through it very quickly would they also have antibodies appearing what is it ten to fourteen days from exposure and so were put that the younger population then can help here by being tested absolutely John anybody who's infected whether symptomatic or not develops antibodies to the infection and not to to the active constituent in this case coronavirus and so I will be your total be very important because it'll tell us how many asymptomatic infections there have been a population and that is how many potential carriers or spreaders of that we didn't know about it and that'll be important information going forward as well yes Henry because I've puzzled about this if people have had the virus and didn't know about it over a symptomatic and that was several weeks pastor several months passed there's an anecdote that the virus has been here for sometime in the United States R. then I want to know what we need to know from them and how we can gain so what you're telling me is the serological tests what will they do for the future why is it wise how does this information help for the next flu season well for one thing it'll help in in the shorter term than that because it'll give us information we needed about when we can back off or with the use of social distancing interventions because if we know for example you know for example that eighty percent of the population in certain places say the San Francisco Bay Area had been infected and had antibodies Dan brown we have some measure of what's called herd immunity that is a kind of biological barrier to further infection because you have all these people who have already been infected alternate symptomatically and have developed antibodies and so that's what we see with with say measles vaccine you have when you get above ninety percent of pets the very contagious so you need to upwards of ninety percent of people who have been vaccinated have antibodies or resistant and that creates herd immunity to to further infection and the and the pirates sort of Peters out because it can't find new vulnerable subjects Henry you also in our correspondence sent me a couple of papers that I read with great interest I don't have the language necessary to solve all of it but the one that compelled me the most I think I understood the English this is from the imperial college in London impact of non pharmaceutical interventions to reduce cover nineteen mortality and healthcare demand and what I gain from reading about the work this on going right now the detective work about the coverage nineteen is that there was an opportunity for the authorities in China to move very effectively in January when they first revealed the unusual pneumonia in Wuhan and if at that time they had limited travel or at identified people who are struggling with the covert nineteen and not ignored it we would be spared this present circumstances that is that it have I read that correctly Henry because the papers filled with a lot of technical language that's part of the essence of it yeah that really fit the take home lesson is that these various kinds of interventions that we've we've been doing actually do flatten the curve and remember that's the new mantra flattening the curve not having a spike of cases but rather spreading out the same number of cases over some greater length of time so in that paper they had been taken this is modeling computer modeling but they found that if you do nothing you have to spike and you are over totally overwhelmed the health care capacity if you do case isolation that is a quarantine of of people who have infections and immediate contacts you shifted to curve a little bit if you go on to case isolation haven't household quarantine and also closing schools and universities you move the cursor still further and if you add to that the kind of thing that's happening in many parts of this country now I isolation social distancing over six sixty years older over seventy years old you move the cursor still farther all of that being being important to mitigate the effect of the epidemic so the grass that they generated in that study or very very interesting and I think very persuasive doctor Henry Miller I think research institute my guide in this crisis about the covert nineteen a sars like coronavirus.

"Good Morning America. This is round table. John Cats Matisse here Sunday morning well last weekend was super bowl weekend. We saw all our football players favorite guys going at it and wanted it concerns of oil parents if my kid is playing football. Can you get injured with us. This morning is Dr Phillip Stake. He's chairman founder of the Weill Cornell Brain and spine center. Good Good morning doctor. How are you this morning? Great to be with John Doctor. I mean so many parents and so many. Ah People are concerned about brain injuries. It's football and that's was on the front page of A lot of papers or her box. I'm underboard of the Police Athletic League and we sort of curtailed it because we don't want fourteen year old kids Getting hit in the head and something happening to them And I understand you have some new revelations. Some new research on on football and boxing and and brain trauma tell the American people. How much should parents be concerned? Well I also want to point out that if if one looks at where concussions occur particularly with the young woman It occurs a lot in soccer and also in basketball when they fall down there on the floor so all sport carries the risk of head trauma. And what everybody's worried about hitting the news regularly is the topic of the chronic traumatic philosophy. And that's where I think. Parents coaches and trainers are starting to play a prominent role in preventing those kinds of injuries. And we had to get into that. Tell US A. I remember when my son was growing up. I traumatized and I said I don't want you to play football. What's your parents do? Oh I think that again Paris Arizona. The child have to make a rational decision number one. If the child really wants to play football you WANNA make sure that the coaches and the trainers and all the referees are abiding abiding by the rules and the rules now which are set up to avoid helmet the hobbit contact spiking kinds of of Injuries is is making a significant impact on the number of concussions that are occurring And and in soccer and now children can't have the ball when they're younger than fourteen years old obviously in playing basketball you have to try to avoid major major foul so that the people Fall down and hit their head on the ground so I again. It's it's it's interaction between the parents. The coaches and the trainers to be vigilant and and reduce the incidence of not only major had had blows but also just kind of chronic repetitive. Head blows that can occur what you saw in the Super Bowl on the offensive and defensive lines where the helmets GONNA go bashing back and forth with each other now in addition I saw NFL commissioner. Talk about how they're making the helmets even better. Have you seen improvement in absolutely. And what's what's actually interesting is as you know I work on the sidelines. As one of the unaffiliated concussion doctors and What we're seeing more often now? Is that the when the helmet hits it hits the ground when the when the players getting tackled That's equally as likely to cause concussion Because they have really changed the rules. I in terms of the way. It's the way the game is played. In addition to that the helmets are a little bit bigger. They have you. You can see that little notch curved in the top. You know. They're they're still trying to come up with the perfect helmet. This is much better but there's still room to go to try to reduce the impact of blow remember. Force is equal to mass times acceleration. And so when you're taking taking these two hundred forty pound people running you know a four second forty yard dash. They can put together a fair amount of force if they go helmet-to-helmet You know so there's nothing that's ever going to leave it. All of the impact that can occur with bodies that size I understand. You've you've been doing some research new research on brain injuries and trauma Can you tell the American public. What have you found? I I think that you know the research that's going on is more of the it's the chronic nature Looking at individuals that have the donated their their brains after for a long term injury. And and that's where the concern for Chronic repetitive head injuries has may lead to something called Chronic aww traumatic encephalopathy and what that is or what it represents is A destruction of the nerve cells within the brain there there are a little filaments that run within the the nerve cells and they formed small little tangles. And that's called Tau Opportunity and with with repeated injuries You know that Tau op if he can get More prominent and worse. And then you start to see you read about the cognitive Aug.. Changes and behavioral changes that are demonstrated by some of the players that have had a particularly severe forms of that disorder as a doctor. Andrew allergist in New York City. There are thousands of bicycles going around now under the new bicycle. Well none of them wearing helmets. I I have mixed emotions about that. I'll be on a semi clearly wearing wearing a helmet. Wood will protect you from a fall And certainly with the fall on a bicycle. You're you're at risk for you. Not only a concussion but even something anymore severe such as a skull fracture. I do want to remind people however that they you know just because they wear a helmet. They shouldn't become more reckless. And that's what we are seeing in ski injuries. People that are wearing helmets. Take greater risk on the mountain and then and and they have more concussions as a result of is that risky behavior in addition to that the helmet doesn't protect your cervical spine. So if you fall off of bike or you take a spill on a mountain skiing. You're still still at high risk for a cervical spine injury which can be equally as devastating. Dr Philip Stieg. Thank you so much coming on our show the Sunday morning. And you you guys do great work at at the While Cornell brain and spinal center and Please keep keep European public informed. John John is always a pleasure. Thank you so much pack you. We'll catch up soon this table. We'll be right back..

We're optimistic it'll get full return the sexual function the next day. All Hell broke loose. The Jealous Woman who sexually mutilated her husband's through several times over a three day period. took a large kitchen knife. Cut off her sleeping husbands peanuts. She turns around much as right right back into the does not say that for Network television. Initially the story was sort of local news like like a freak occurrence but it became a sensation in. She was acting on impulse. The Oregon was successfully reattached after a nine hour. Our operation. John Doctor says his patient could still face life as a sexual cripple public. Couldn't get enough. which was the story that everybody was on locally ones? This sweep Virginia somebody taking pictures. Tiny interview somebody trying to go by my mom and dad's house. "Bag at Cates. Kibble dot com. Three. Don't let do. With a big. Better than to escape what ails you, then the fantasy add the movies? The trouble is you had to find a movie that you want to see. Hey, hey, grab your ticket. And get ready to hear what's coming up. Some of the interesting things that are happening at the movies right now. And it's kind of all over the book, there's all over the place. There's the movies that have been nominated for Oscars that are being talked about. There are new movies that are coming out and all different kinds of John Laura. I think moviemakers trying to figure out the way. Okay. If we're not marvel and we're not an animated feature. What are we getting in between? How do we keep the budgets down? How do we get people into the theater instead of streaming movies because they don't feel like going to see it on the big screen? I will say this. There are some movies and all of you know. This. If you even only every once in a while go to a movie that you have to see on the big screen. It's just not the same. No matter what you have at your in your man cave at your house, and your she caves slash man, cave. He know your couple cave. It doesn't matter because it's not going to get that same feel that you would see on a very big screen. But I think at the movie theaters and trying to do everything that they can make it a whole different experience. Were there serving you gourmet food or they're giving you discounts to be in clubs or they're trying to make the whole movie experience a place where you wanna come making it a center of the community trying to pull it back into what it used to be. I think a long long time ago and also when movies used to be cheaper, and it wasn't getting galvanized at the concession stand. And you had to go see movies that way because frankly, there was no streaming. So you know, what? The movie of the week and three channels or whatever there was not all these cable stations and everything else in between. So the first movie is about a dog. I love dogs. It's called a dog's way home. There's one thing. I know about the world, it's not the little things that matter. The tiny thing. Do you want? Yes. Yes. She's as my life. He does. Oh. Don't shoot. Over the years. We did everything together. He went to work even played a game called John doctor Dr game. Again. Yes. Life with Lucas was the best. But when he wasn't around. I missed him so much. Squirrel, squirrel, squirrel. Doc looks like she too. I was very far. Lucas was waiting for me. Had to go and find him. Even a tiny piece of cheese. Off the that are hard. The only thing that us. Special people in our lives, and I was never going to stop thirteen until I found mine. Dog saved his life. All right. So a dog's way home you get the gist of this Bella find their way home separated from the dam of four hundred mile journey. Can you imagine? But bakes it Ashley Judd is in this movie Edward almost as in this movie, Chris Bauer and some other names, you would probably recognize this is sweet sweet. PG movie adventure dogs kids that whole thing could find an audience because dogs and kids sell, but there's so much competition right now, pulling your eyes and other directions even for kids. That I'm not quite sure about that. All right. This next movie up is called replicas..
