He was a really damn good basketball player. Okay. Yes, then he goes to Cheyney State which is funny because Cheney was spelled with an e in his name is spelled with an A but it might as well have been Shady with an a because of what he did for them including winning a national championship like d to title, but I remember him at the first time I encountered him as a press conference when he was in the temple team which happened several years during his tenure, you know, but talking about life, you know as a d to coach at a school without much money and one of the duties that he had told the bus Maybe not all the time, but more than more than once, you know, and and he his whole story and you know, I could sum it up by saying and it's the same to a Nolan Richardson and and as obvious great wonderful black coaches for the most part..
