That was so fucking great and you see his head a lot because because me and my girlfriend expecting the same kind of thing like dude this guy just killed the two giant white apes at mike. This guy's going to be like okay and he was already making excuses like will. You can't do it because you're not a dark and then they're like no excuses. Fuck that i was like. I really hope he. Stabs mid air not cuts his head off. And i like initially or thirteen movie. A disney movie at that. But it's all completely excused. Because it's blueblood yep yeah it's this it's this trick. "A trilogy. That didn't happen. So we had to go back. And make a very middling sequel to finding nemo you know like finding dory like a story. That was fine but didn't need he told at all. You know it's subaru unfortunate. Because i really dug it a lot and like like i said the ending really just made me go man. I want more and i and i really do agree with the of of marcy. You know what it was at the same time around that era. There is a lot of movies. They're still kind of doing it now. Where they're just kinda going. Hey where maybe we're going to do a remake or regular do a review or we're going to continue on a a series of movies. I know happened a lot with like harm movies. Were you know like the texas chainsaw massacre. I think there was a movie that came out of the time where they just called texas chainsaw. Let's just take off a word. Sounds fucking cool like it or yeah. Instead of the blair witch project there was blair. Witch griego are allen street instead of the evil dead. You will over to care for because it's remained but like even podcast. You're allen malaise like now i'm kind of like okay with it. I'm like now. Everyone knows lake the with originally though that everybody's like eighty four to answer team right like there's a movie coming out. Spiral it is supposed to be different. Copycat is that. I don't know i won't go jigsaw. But it's still like the universe so they're gonna call spiral and then cleaner I know there's one more that like. I'd legit like when they announced it was like get the fuck out man. I remember the one of the fast and furious. Sequel just called fast. Jeez yeah not the faster In the yeah. Those fucking named movies ever in the world like there's called f nine this.

"You know Or expressing great reviews of it as well did get mixed reviews. I think fifty percent rotten tomatoes. So right yeah definitely. There's definitely a word of mouth kind of of contribution to these types of movies and if nobody's gonna go watch or people watch it say now it's not really worth your time Then yeah they probably won't I think this is also about the round the time like that. Those other tarzan movies time is time is really hard. It was way before it was way before tarzan those shoes tarzan movies. Starting one of the scars guards the handsome skarsgard. Yeah yeah Oh my god. I i completely forgot about that. I fell asleep attention awesomely. Yeah so i. I think it just didn't capture anybody's attention. I think that's at least for me. I think that's what can i contributed. It's like lack of of success. I agree with the area. Like is Part of it was like the reviews. Probably the marketing. Because i did see. I i remember going to conventions i. I saw a lot of marketing for it the year before but then afterward there was a lot of bad marketing where i i don't know what they were trying to do. I don't know if they were trying to be like. Hey it's like this big new sifi bay kind of thing but it's like swashbuckling Parrots pirates of the caribbean kind of thing. But i just remember like hearing a lot of this is the pirates like the new pirates kind of thing that that's what i remember hearing a lot and i think people were just like i don't want a new pirates more pirates can also too. We were the two thousand twenty tens now becoming this comic book kind of thing. Where like avengers. Drop that same year and i felt like that just cemented like hey comma. Bubis are fucking in now like this is like their golden age so that might have been a thing to were. Maybe just john carter just came out may be.

"But you know. It's not like john carter. Is this like really well known. I p you know the only reason anybody really knows it today. If they're like really big fan of edgar rice burroughs tarzan or if they saw this movie. You know but alan. I'm curious what what did you think Because this was your pick. Technically i want to know what you thought. Doug aman i dude. I'm a sucker for big swing movies for average. Fuck down at the lake. It's not a big enough. Oh yeah exactly. It's spoken with blue cats. But yeah this one. I wanted to see a back in twenty twelve. But i think he was one of those. Where like i kind of want to hear what somebody says about it. that go. nobody really wants to go see it. you know. apparently so. I didn't get i kind of settle await on netflix. Or something like that and it was always on my on my on my watch list but yeah dug a lot like i love the world building. I again bryan cranston humidity where it's so funny because i've been i've been playing power. Rangers battled for the grid fighting game. Then every time. I played it. I always think. I'm like i can't fucking believe bryan. Cranston was like the old power rangers as well as like the most recent one that the the twenty seventeen on lego. Check it out guys. So i was like he just shows up and everything doesn't godzilla and then i pop this in and i'm like what the fuck everything dude. How are you like. He had like a three year period where he was just in every movie. It was weird it like he was you'll on breaking bad and he just like show up in booking everything. It was like the bryan cranston renaissance. But look he'd never had like a major major part he was just ask you can got dylan was barely there. John carter. He was in the beginning. It was in drive but he was like more of a supporting character. Like you're right like right. After breaking bad there was just like a set of movies. He kept showing up but anyways he it a lot some things that he has answer for me whereas headed they do this. It is very long. I will say that it. I'm a sucker for like the big long kind of world building movies. But it's kinda longworth sometimes it's a little slow and it took me a little bit to get through sometimes round just like.

"That stardust. i mean. excuse me on or something like that. But for the movie itself You know this is a movie like when i talked about that. The the big swing series. That ariel bob like this is one. I considered doing for my pick. I really do like john carter It's not a perfect movie. But it's it's a solid Film that i you know. I bought the dvd when it came out and move every visited every every once in a while. I'm ahead in washington a couple of years until this podcast Well actually i watched it for. The big swing series was watching all those movies But it's it's you know it's it's just it's just kind of like what i wish avatar had been pretty much where it's like this big sweeping space epic but instead of being like this magical world with a plan sorrel amazing and just like you know nature this dying planet and it's like and willem defoe is there he's got eight arms is like i buy soom don't tie so jackson must fight for us and just fucking so all about this weird ridiculous shit. Didn't explain is how suddenly they could speak english. No because he drank now he drank them. They gave him the think gave him more soon. Like oh my gosh off cape over john. Yeah and he goes. It goes from like subtitles to like english because she was like. She says like someone like you. Listen you'll be able to hear it so like So that's how like they are able to kinda like the start communicating with each other which is always like an interesting thing to see like in movies like how a do that where it's like i remember i was watching like rolled el dorado and they just straight up. Don't even address it. There's just like yeah whatever. They're just like all speaking spanish now. Or whatever like the the minds and the or the ad six or whatever and then in atlanta's the like oh it's a root language so they can all just that's not how linguistics works. Whatever you know so like a little bit more always kind of a weird thing to get around. But i think they did a pretty good job with it in this movie but yeah i i really did like it is like so just you know if i'm going to see a movie that spends this amount of money i'm really you know liked the aesthetic of a lot. I like the character Characterization of john. Carter it is a little bit. You know You know a little bit basic but it is because it is based on something that came out in one thousand nine twelve at a lot of stuff like star wars and avatar obviously and everything else has been kind of on the old john carter stories So but there is some like fridging stuff. But i actually do like john kind of redemptive art at the beginning. He doesn't care and just as fuck it. I hate the world..

Friday night lights not not in the show but yeah yeah Till it was okay. It was enjoyable. It got a lot better at towards the end I feel like with the increase of action in south The villain wasn't too great. Oh don't you dare bad about my mark. Strong like that is like grandma strong. Other one the pansies patsy upon for strong shows up balden starts monologue. And you're like this is what i need from my mark. Strong no mark. Sean took the aluminum. Have you ever heard the stories. Just like oh my god yes please. All of that. Yeah yeah to just to fill in a little bit for forgot to mention about the block. I mean if you don't know about it. I mean it's on disney plus you to watch but essentially takes place in the late eighteen. Hundreds the titular john carter gets blasted over Into over mars. And he's kind of like superman. Ask kind of person. He gets abilities when he's over there and mark strong and his fellow yeah. Turns are kind of like mystical. Mike watchers rarely intervene washers of a planet other like making. They're making mars. They're like helping the bad guys on mars. Fight the good guys on mars. Yeah moon thurgau or real sir. No no i mean it was definitely like i know that that this is one of the movies that kind of like was one of the catalyst for for our our podcast here Just an especially the concept of of that we did a few months ago of Big swings and yeah you definitely see. This is a big swing. It wasn't the biggest of swings that we saw during that that series. But you could see it. And i know the i know the history behind it and it kind of like being a gigantic flop kurd for disney Kind of like you know like how how the early nineties kind like action movies were And like i've said before in in this podcast with our tomorrowland Movie big.

"Some so. Yeah pretty much john. Carter came out back in twenty twelve. I think we had kind of previously mentioned before we started that it was. I think at the hundred year mark because it was a magazine like a pulp fiction like sherlock holmes. Hp lovecraft kind of thing started with a princess of mars by edgar rice burroughs then continue on with a series of the bar. Soon kennedy series of books stories at stars taylor kitsch when callings marsh and willem dafoe and so pretty much I picked this one. It kind of went in blind with it. Because i remember when it came out i wanted to see it. I was kinda like all kind of excited. For 'cause i felt like disney was trying to this new pirates of the caribbean coast kind of franchise trying to get back into that. Live action game. They were trying to do the next avatar. You know is color char Because i was this long before disney had the rights avatar. And they're like well we need are about to say like this fell through in the like. We're just we'll just by avatar. I didn't realize. I think it's like when avatar humana just wasn't a fan like i was like i didn't even go see like i didn't see it two years later because Looks okay but like john carter. I was like all right. That looks pretty bad ass. And i thought it was like disease answer of like. There's all these comic book movies. So we're gonna do like new franchise kind of thing so pretty much like i said a winning blind with this one but i want to hear what you guys think. I oklahoma I thought it was okay. I mean i definitely see why didn't pick up any momentum It spelt like like going off of what you said allen about like the pirates care being kind of feel it felt like the more older ones in Not really getting too much of a momentum to them and it was kind of dragged on I know you when you came in right now. You said health how slow it fell an. It did definitely feel very slow. The concept was pretty interesting. And i didn't enjoy that. I did enjoy the whole thing of like it being astral projection or making a copy of yourself essentially like telegraphing And that's how he ended up on mars I wasn't expecting to see june cortez's as edgar right borough. You know At the beginning. Did you know that that's student. Cortez from Spike it's holy shit. Yeah yeah that's g court from spike in a pretty interesting to see him. I kinda because. I kind of had gone confused at the beginning because i know this like after his escapade his travels on So that was a pretty kind of like. I had had like a brain fart at the beginning a bit there are five or six big openings and yeah i i mean i can see how that would be a little bit like with lash. Yeah yeah abe really. There's there's moments like in the movie where i really wish like. They explained it a bit more. specifically His pass with his with his wife and and child like why they.

Catholic seminary installs a solar farm shaped like a cross

"From their plane. Windows people traveling to and from chicago may notice the shape of a cross in a field outside the city. This cross is made entirely of rows of solar panels that helped power a catholic seminary. The shape of it is really something. I think is special. Father john carter is the rector and president of online seminary at the university of saint mary of the lake he says the three hundred kilowatt array which went online in december is the first solar installation at a. Us catholic seminary. The project is saving the seminary money on electric bills and karchi says it represents the environmental stewardship. That's central the catholic. Teaching six years ago pope francis wrote in and cyclical a formal letter that called upon the world to reduce its use of fossil fuels and limit global warming and long even before pope francis. It's been part of the catholic. Social justice tradition recognizing that care for the earth. You know isn't just sort of one. Amongst many good tasks we should take on but it really is central to creation which we receive as a gift from god so he says going solar made sense financially and as an expression of the catholic faith.

Why won't NFL teams hire minority coaches?

"Three head. Coaching spots have been filled this week. But none of those. Three coaches were minorities while the Rooney rule has been followed. Some are beginning to believe that minority forty candidates are not being taken seriously for the open jobs and anonymous African American. NFL Assistant Coach said that the League has quote finally shown. It's not the place as for black men to advance. It's ridiculous it's disgusting. We can sell tickets and make plays but we can't lead Shannon. Why isn't the Rooney rule role working? Well I think until skip this diversity thing yeah. Diversity is a great great to talk about but until you get someone the leadership position that says you know what. I don't just want to talk about it. I want to be about it so until you get older ships that actually wants to put some substance to this and this is what that you're GonNa get now if the general manager there's one general manager that's what minority and that's CR- Chris greer in Miami. There's zero owners that are it shouldn't say minorities. I guess because shot con radically a minority. But when you get the gist of what I what. I'm trying to say until leadership gets more diverse. You're I'm not gonNA have a more diverse hiring background skills. This was puzzling to be. Is that Eric. Enemy has the exact Zac job that Matt Nagy had negative and call plays any recall. Please man they can get the job. Doug Peterson sedinko plays true. Recall to play around Rivera's on but Ron Rivera was not the defensive coordinator in Philly. He he became a D. coordinator what's he got to the D. Coordinator in Chicago. You are you in San Diego. Yeah but he got his getting these enter coaching tree. Eric B enemy has the exact same job. That Matt Nagy Doug Peterson has and he's not getting opportunity is spirit but this. I don't really think that they go into it. Unless you incentivize this. Okay if you how minorities kill we maybe you have an extra three to five five dollars and cap space. That's the only thing that resonates with these owners because I get it skipped if I spent three billion. Let's just say I spent three billion dollars for a restaurant run. You Go tell me what the hell I need to cook. Cook whatever I WanNa Cook it there. And that's how they look at it. Jerry Jones spent money for this. This this mind you oh tell me why should get killed but but this notion that Oh and they brought Muhiba Marvin Marvin Lewis. He brought him in to to do that. Situation wasted the same with the giants the giants they had irebi enemy. They what Joe Judge Chris Rashard Rashard. Excuse me Chris Restoring. Yeah so now. Now we're down to one. Vacant Cleveland Reunion. I'm talking about how good already know. Angle get no frills JAYCO network skill. He already interviewed there. So you would now now the take my name off the leader and solid rubber solid. Take my name off the list. Because he's GonNa get Mad Max two and a half years if you're lucky that seems to instead that's all Jimmy can stomach now if you look at it they keep these. You look at Mike Patton. You look at all the guys they've had and these guys have had I think. Hugh Jackson stayed the longest at two and a half years. But everybody's been two years the list huge only two and a half two and a half long but you get you get these other guys you get pretty kitchens and you look at patent and you look at a I forget. Just give all these one year jazz. WE ACHE AAC CLEVELAND. That in Cleveland of the North this skill ruining rules a joke. I get it. You know minorities Cadillac. An affirmative action thanksgiving. Yeah but in -firmative action. I guess it's federal dollars. You'RE NOT GONNA get the money if you don't do this. The NFL is a is a private entity. So what can you do. What Ki- what can you give? Nfl Do not the so. I have been tracking this for a long time because one of my best friends is John. Wooten who is now the retired leader of the Fritz Pollard. Alliance and he was the driving force behind instituting the Rooney rule as I hiring practice in the national shirow all league and John's point from the start was I just need interviews because if a young assistant coach gets interviewed a couple of times times it gets reported in his name gets out there and if another owner sees that name enough over maybe a couple of years hiring cycles else maybe an owner says chee that guy. He's getting a lot of interviews. Maybe I should bring in. Maybe I should be more open minded to him. But if you're GONNA curse because if I get a a lot of interviews and I'm not getting hired was wrong why here the me getting hired cave liability with that. But John's point in the end was I'd rather have interviews than not have interests. Okay okay so let's go back to the stat that I use last week. The Institute of Diversity and Ethics In sports twenty nine thousand nine racial and gender report card for the National Football Bali. The League got actually an a plus for hiring of color. Assistant coaches right a sit a plot. Oh that's progress right. It got a deep loss for hiring head coach of Color White eight-plus assistance d-plus head head coaches. There's a big disconnect there and it shows you. That owners are fine. Oh hire two or three black assistant fine with that but nope nope. I don't want to head coach to be black. Right gives quite to the restaurant you can cook. You'll be in the bank but Michelle not the bridge. I roll up now okay so when I texted back and forth last we can use this last week of John Wooten just beside himself now. He is devastated by this this development his point was that only one. GM Chris Grin Miami. Point out is use. John's word heartbreaking because it could start with the GM right a black GM of or of color could be more open minded to say to the owner. Hey listen this guy is really bring him in. Let me let me introduce him to you right. The conduit to the owner can be stronger. Iran have I don't know six or eight black. GM right right. We've had them around the league four or but all of a sudden there's a dearth to rape Barma with Barma within Cleveland. He'd Gone Rick Smith who I know very well be in Denver. He interviewed for The Washington. Ashington John Daniel Snyder said head coach could be a head coach. Basically general manager after the Washington like who are the head coaching after the draft. The General Mattis. Okay so sometimes there is group think or shink sheep among the owners because in the end they do want to win right. And if they're looking around the League league and that black head coaches really successful they say well I want one of those. I want to go that direction right well. There was one black head coach who started to have success late in the year ear and he happened to be allied with Chris. Clear in Miami and Brian Floors off the Patriots. Well they started out all time badge for about what seven seven games fifty. Nine seven opening renders and then they basically it felt like they turned the whole roster iside down which they needed to do and then all of a sudden the last nine games they go five and four they upset the eagles and then they went to foxborough and just basically ended the season. I thought for the new New England Patriots playoff teams right. Okay so all the sudden Brian floor floor with the help of Chris greer. They're having big success. It looks like it's headed in the right drug us us but it wasn't enough of a splash to create momentum through the hiring process and right because John Wooden again texted me back with so many names he said we have so many in the pipeline. Who already started with Eric? B Enemy and Chris Rock. I think Chris Shaw Bad Year on defense but when I watch him interviewed when I watch his body language. It's a stunt man he's he's got. CEO Written all over him. He looks like a commanding officer to me. There's not enough black head coaches skip. Because because you look you look at Mike McCarthy guest job he hires the guy that gave him his opportunity coordinator fifteen years ago so you see the circle. We'll skip once you become a head coach. What do you do you go to the combine? You go to say elbow you got your drake. He goes to the coaches meeting and Yada Yada Yada and to connect with the boom boom boom right right. So if I'm not in that Lou. How do I get into loops? Because a rid of staff they said eighty percent of the jobs are never posted so in other worth people get hired somebody a friend or family member is not what you know who you know There in live the roof. It does house so to finish John. Bruton's list of pipeline candidates being AMEE. Chris Rashard Robert Sala. He threw Jim Caldwell on his list. Is Jim Colwell was highly successful zestful. Jim called wheel lost his jaw. Going nine and seven in two years Matt Patricia has nine total win and he's still got a job now he goldwell still doesn't have another job he in four years. He went to the playoffs twice in the last year he went nine and seven and they said well you know we need to move in a different direction. uh-huh and the guy that's replaced has yet to win nine total games in two years. Do you still own a still on the clock. Okay Steve wilks got one shot in time. I'm one year in Arizona and he was gone. He's now the defensive coordinator in Cleveland which probably didn't help his cause this year that much but I don't hear his name no in Cleveland right right on the list. And then there's Terrel Austin who's young stripes potential star coach and John Wootton into his list with Marvin Lewis who he thinks deserves a second shy right. Okay so Jerry. Jones did observe in qualified for the Rooney rule by bringing in. I Marvin Lewis. I think Jerry was shrewd operating waiting there. Because he didn't pick a young like like Chris Rashard type interview him because of Jerry had interviewed a young potential upcoming head. Black coach right. There's more pressure on Jerry. What was wrong with right? What's the problem exactly? He went to Marvin Lewis because he thinks Marvin Lewis is kind of old news right right. He got his longtime time shot in Cincinnati. Listen I still think Marvin did a good job job seriously. Yes okay he went. Oh and seven in the playoffs but still it was Andy Dalton Alton you re you with covering the NFL and you remember what Cincinnati before. Marlene got there was John. Carter number one overall. You Got David Cleland with the fourth. The fourth picket. You got big day to day and Wilkerson purse around the second pick in the draft year after year after a year people. Forget what I know. Marvin didn't win a playoff game. But they weren't even getting close to the playoffs for Marvin got there. No so I was disappointed in Jerry because you know my heart Hartz. I'd love to see Jerry Jones higher black head coach and I think I probably won't live long enough or Jerry will live long enough to know.

"They do a lot of interesting things for students. One of those is that they have a day where they just a bringing quote. Unquote experts say that most people are experts in me <hes> they brought us on campus to share about a subject we liked the the students who go to different classes and there are a lot of people. I presented to a group of students about how to start a podcast and what podcasting castings all about <hes> I enjoy being with students and especially college students outside like what I do for fun mentoring them with my wife so I think it was fun to to go there and teach them about the subject. I liked so much. As what would you say if somebody and I'm sure people are doing this already. Somebody contacted you and said I want to start a podcast. When what do I do. What do you tell them. The funny thing is my. My brother is going to start by gas. I like to say it's because of me. He is an avid listener the podcast which is really cool. We didn't really grow up together too much. He's ten years older than me <hes> so he's always been air force traveling all replace but this you know this is united. He loves keeping up with me through the podcast among other things he's one person there's been several but he is the most recent that has come to me and said Hey. How do I start a podcast. What I do and the biggest advice I'd give people. We've talked about this my brother Nylon but like what makes you unique for example. I think it'd be interesting to start a business podcast about business because I'm still figuring that out. I think it's really interesting subject. It's so brought. Every every human on earth has had to do some sort of thing with so but what would make me unique. What would make people wilde listened to that in some cases the if you're famous enough if you're celebrity people listen because they think you're funny or they they know you and they think L. This product. I like other things they do. This must be cool too if you're not well known like why are people going to choose to listen to you rather than the other dozens and and possibly hundreds of podcasts out there about business and just getting one subject sports another big one where everyone has an opinion about sports most people even if you're an active to pursue but a lot of people a lot of people have opinions about Sports Billick okay. What makes you so interesting apart from another podcast another voice out author so I'd say find fine. What makes you unique <hes>. That was something that I couldn't figure out. I I started the podcast. I didn't know how much to insert myself into it and my point of view or my personality and but I think you are at one hundred percent correct. If you're going to go oh through all of the Labor involved in starting a podcast in maintaining a podcast. You have to choose something that's interesting to you that you want to learn about and then you also have something to say about all of those things. I think have to be true in order for it to be more than just at two episode experience <hes> you brought some interesting which is like how much of yourself to insert. I'm still having to be really conscious about this. 'cause I thought will people want to know the content. They don't really care that. They don't really care to know about me. That's not true I just recently or not recently but like a few months ago was thinking. Why do I like the podcasts at like besides the subject correct as because I think I feel a personal connection to the host or hosts and that's like for Awhile. I wasn't doing that and that's so so wrong. I'm depriving like people yes like the subject but they come back in the repeat listeners because they like you as a person so it is a good everything to insert yourself into it's hard to do. It's hard to talk about yourself in without seeming bragging right it's feels vulnerable and also like really narcissistic at the the time and so it's kind of walk that line but I completely agree with you podcast that I like. I like because I'm learning. I feel like I have a relationship with this person..

"Because a lot is going to be a hit, regardless of what people go into the movie thinking about the genie of Aladdin is going to be a smash hit when's the last time. And I know that we work for this company. So maybe this isn't a fair question. When's the last time Disney like bomb that something I feel like everything that they do is going to be successful. Like, they're smart enough to not have something that's a total flop. I think John I wouldn't do Aladdin and have a be a total flop. Right. They just doesn't seem like they make those mistakes the last time Disney bombed was I believe to Disney have anything to do with John Carter of Mars, John. It got retitled. John Carter gear put it on the poll. Did you give up on a ward shows ten years ago? Yes, Disney had did produce John Carter. It was soaring. Taylor kitsch who has known to be box office poison anytime. Someone tries to put a lot of money behind them as a store of a vehicle. So John Carter was the last big notable Disney flop. This is birthday today. John Taylor kitsch. Good luck. You're down on the Grammy's paulsville. Well, here's here's the thing with me. And I've been telling you this for years, I recognize fewer and fewer people. So it's like, oh, they're smokey Robinson. There's Diana Ross all the old timers, but I'm not really interested in what Cardi B is wearing. Or why offset is on stage with her, and I do believe that's probably more of an indictment of me than it is anybody else. So they've reconciled offset and Cardi B. You don't care about that. I do would you think of the the performance? Oh, I didn't want. You didn't watch it on. You should watch. It. You can't complain that. You don't know anybody on it. And then now watch learn. But he tells me, but I didn't want to watch a whole bunch of people whose music, I don't know. My wife was pulling that move to what he's saying about not knowing anybody. I'm like, this is not the this is not the Grammy's fault that you don't know anybody VM as is the thing to watch. If you want to not know anybody like if you want to feel old watch the VM as the go to move with these music shows these days, I don't know anybody anymore. Dan's age group is saying it my wife is saying it like that's just the go-to guys. There was a time that I didn't know who Shawn Mendez was. And then I watch to be amazed. I got familiar with Shawn Mendez. And I heard a catchy little ditty on the radio. I'm like okay now. I know who Shawn Mendez I feel like no one has exploded at the Grammies since Ricky Martin am I wrong about this. Then at the Grammys where performance happens at the Grammys, and that makes that person's career take off based on that performance. I mean, you're identifying the single greatest moment in Grammy history, which was Ricky Martin's the couple of live performance, which was a kingmaking. Set it on the put it on the poll. Guillermo at lebatardshow was Ricky Martin's the Cup of life. The greatest moment in Grammy history. Gam? Would you talk to on a grinding? Sure. Did you use the cover the Panthers? Right. Did you know areana grind? It was like every panther's game. This old article came out yesterday. Did you see this on Twitter? It was like a thing. So somebody took a screen shot apparently area on a grinded got hit by two pucks at Panthers games. So then she was riding around like on Zamboni. And then they were wrote a whole article about her and she was like every panther's game growing up. Did you know that did you cover that? When you cover the Panthers. No, I did not. I don't know that anybody necessarily knew that back then how long ago was that. But he was five at the time. You didn't see like a five year old and that five year might become like a route talented singer and one day. I didn't have maybe we shouldn't keep hitting her with hockey pucks. You think she's still watches the Panthers. Like she follows the team you think if we call her right now, she tells you they're eight out of the last playoffs..

"H this news sponsored by top tax defenders in the top story this hour after ousting Houston's John Culbertson, the Republican from congress, Texas Democrats now have their sights set on sugar lands, Pete Olson and a handful of other Republican congressional seats in twenty twenty in this state. They wanna turn it if not purple certainly they want to turn it blue. That's if people like Michael McCall or even John Carter, don't retire. I I would think that John Carter would certainly appoint a successor climbing somebody for that Williamson county in central Texas is still quite conservative mccalls, certainly has the favor of people that support national security and our military. Michael McCall, a very popular figure, especially in central Texas. Andy Hogue there with a Travis county Republican party doubts that these democrat tents would be successful in those specific districts. He says, Texas Democrats are not going to have the star power of Beto O'Rourke. Lift them to victory like they did last November. Or so he thinks the left has been complaining since two thousand sixteen that Hillary Clinton rightfully won the election because she won the national popular vote much of it coming out of California. Well, now, some states are trying to make it the law of the land in KTAR Cassandra's is live with that twelve states now, including Colorado, working on legislation giving electoral college votes to the candidate that wins the national vote you h political scientists branded Ryan how says it's taking years to get here. There has been a movement afoot over the past couple of decades to allow for the popular vote to be the guiding principle in selecting the president in many states have signed on quitting now, Colorado. So you might be wondering if something like this could even be proposed here running out says. Could be the Texas's detriment they're voting majority in the state for Republicans and Democrats tend to win popular vote in the nation. So he would actually really be a disconnect between what the Texan voters wanted. And what you wanted. In other words, don't Bank on the electoral college going away anytime soon. Yeah, he's not going to get rid of electoral college. I would take a constitutional amendment and all the states would have to be involved. The other founders really had a good idea not letting one state with its mass population dictate that was the whole idea behind. Meantime, we talked about better, aerobic and his coat tails. Well, he's playing coy about whether he run intends to run for president. Serious answer is really soon. Is is is really seen before the end of this month? Serious answer, really soup, El Paso democrat. He just taped a one on one interview with Oprah Winfrey. And that airs later this month. After losing the Senator Ted Cruz in November work has chosen to travel and meet with voters, privately he told Oprah. He's excited about just doing something way said it, and what he said I'd be surprised if he didn't enter the race as political strategist Bill Miller says a rook remains a favorite among Democrats despite disappearing after November we love you actually get getting the race. And you don't a candidate. Here's that often enough from an people it gets song persuasion, and I think he's persuaded to make the race buddy says a roof is still a long shot considering the number of Democrats entering the race and his lack of experience on the national level. Nick ranking bitch, NewsRadio seven forty tear each. Well, the top three elected officials in Virginia. Meantime, we've been launching this. They're all under fire. The college professor who openly accuses Virginia's Lieutenant governor of sexually assaulting her. Now has come forward with details of that Vanessa Tyson is now a college professor at scripts in California. She claims that while working alongside Justin Fairfax back in two thousand four in. Boston at the democratic national convention. She didn't resist when he started kissing her in his hotel room. But then he grew aggressive and forced a sex act to which she didn't consent Tyson claims she's coming forward now because there's a chance as Lieutenant governor of Virginia. Fairfax could become governor if the current governor Ralph Northop should resign in the midst of his own scandal. Fairfax claims the encounter was consensual Eban Brown, Fox News. Yeah. The scandal on the governor. They keep talking about his whole black-faced business and racist acts, but we haven't forgotten about his pronouncements about late term and after birth abortion. That is what's got Republicans and conservatives certainly branching this up a notch. We have the Lieutenant governor Virginia retaining a bread Kavanagh's attorneys. Against his accuser is also a liberal Democrat Lieutenant governor the one who's accused of the sexual his accusers hired Christine Bazi Ford's attorneys. So we get a replay. Of that. Meantime, the attorney general has not just been accused of race. He's come out and confess that. Yes. He's done black face as well. And if all three should be forced to resign or removed from office will the next in line would be the house speaker in Virginia, he's a Republican, and he would become the new governor. Which is why you're not seeing a lot of movement on the democrat side. These people out of our news time six thirty seven. Well, if you're counting on your income tax refund arriving by a certain date, bad news for you. The IRS has almost everyone's refund will be delayed by a week at the soonest. You know, there's people in this country. Many of us live paycheck to paycheck. We lay is very significant for many families. Unfortunately. Yeah. Michael Smith, Houston's S T A wealth management says one week. That's probably optimistic. The IRS says it lost a lot of workers during the partial shutdown, and it's behind on processing, even though the data didn't start till the twenty eighth of January. Okay.
