"Suspicious at all. Man. It's really mean anything because it's not that hard to do. But. John Byrne Paul is the best version of the punish again, these out of all the bad ones that they had that probably means nothing, but I will say that. I do love his take on a loved the how they wrote this character the reason why because of the same thing I said about the first season they continue to humanize character. Look at a lot of punish stories or even saw something on Netflix. It was a punish anime where she'll came down to hire the punisher to do some some work from them the whole time. He was just walking around like this one note he's doing if you pay me enough. It's it was it was it's a random thing. That's on Netflix. You can find it. He's working with black widow. Nick theory comes down hires them, and they go, you know, he works made it movies. Yeah. Yeah. In a bunch of. Like, you know, you can't do this. And he's like. That's what it was. You can't kill it bitch is what I do. And. And. And you get. He's so one dimensional with a love about, you know, with enough you watch the trailer for this as you've seen. You know, you see what what what what they've Bill was sell the character, which is a bunch of killing a bunch of fighting a bunch of shooting. You know, bunch of bag is around him being, you know, the on stop them killing machine. But they don't say the time that he's hanging out. Again, being human though, they say that the the show starts out slow. I actually loved that the show him try to actually just to to to to to normal life. He's trying to he's right around the country just trying to, you know, find the right moment, we can just settled down and being be normal again. And and he doesn't wanna be seen. He's trying to let be low key. He's not killing people when he gets in trouble. He takes he takes the the the the most non violent way out of, you know, usually, we'll give you to verbal cues stopping them break offender something, but I'm not going. You know, do what I normally do snap your neck. Gotcha. Something actually light like that. Because I know that you you said that was slow for you. Yes. The what I was watching with the show. It was I was like please Christ's for Christ's sake can something happened. The first episode was all that slow. And he does get into that big fight in the bathroom with thought was pretty good. It was the stuff after that. Feels like they don't have a direction here. Yeah. You know, I really I really enjoyed the care. Plus, they show him joking. You know, he sits he can when he he does sit back and show people. He shows people. He cares. Like, I have a slice of pizza, you know, and in BNB and be cooled this for a little while, you know, what I mean by starting shit with me, I can actually kind of be all right, man. I got a sense of humor about things believe it or not. You know what? But I also like how he at some point they show where yet this bullying never going to be normal, man. He's this this guy. He's never gonna fit is in plus the punishes net. He's not supposed to be liked the punisher. This the punch we have today. He's supposed you're only supposed to be scared of him. But you're supposed to be kind of disgusted by him there moments where people actually have to tell communist like people who about to emerge some by some by the punishable kill that person in the person was about emerging. But man stocks because you know, communist down it's people get they show characters being disgusted by his violence. People. Who are you know, they they don't know what to make of him. I like that. And I liked that they actually kind of knowledge that being, you know, he's part of a superhero world in a very subtle way and the Cuban off. So I don't know if this is the part where needs to be, but they let new to see this is laid on the series where he kinda admits like, yeah. Ain't let the rest of the, you know, I'm kinda like don't don't get fucked up. I'm kind of superhuman too. I can do things that other human beings cannot do. Makes me. Makes me..

"But when you've watched it after punisher, like John Byrne fell this comic is awesome. Yes. Let's get into who the punisher is Francis. I love the guts Israel Francis. Break castle is a fictional. Character. Appearing in American comic books published by marvel. So the character was created by Gerry Conway and artist John remained, a senior in Ross Andro with publisher Stanley green lighting, the name the punisher made his first appearance in the amazing spider man, number one twenty nine cover dated February nineteen seventy four. So that issue is the iconic cover so expensive is one of the I have fifty nine spider-man's left, and I have every run of every title in history. And this is one of the fifty nine I need 'cause I want good condition. Somebody's accent to it. It's amazing. How this is to the test of time because it's one of the most recent issues, I need I need like number one and stuff, but then won twenty nine is this coveted issue because it's a beautiful yellow cover. It's him with crosshairs on Spiderman, and he was meant to be a one off villain. Yeah. Didn't show up again till issue. One thirty five the punisher second appearance is one thirty five which means that six months later because back then you'd have to wait to get the letters back from the fans, and then the character. Yeah. So he was supposed to be just a flash in the pan. This one note villain, and then the fans loved him one thirty five he came back, and it was like two or three years he has a little mini. So he's been beloved from the beginning because he's so different marvel usually puts out there's not a lot of gun toting vigilante, anti heroes. There are now but nineteen seventy four this was a new thing. But this was also the time of the mob like coming up, you know, and he is an Italian American vigilantes, technically only the ass. So it is interesting. I feel like that that same thing that you guys were talking about the nineties because the eighties nineties we had. Like because he's also a war veterans. So we had like GI Joe was really big back. Then those toys and also he was just kinda starkly different. You know, you had all these heroes who are like super duty do here. And this is a guy who like doesn't mind murdering kidnapping using extortion, coercion threats violence and torture to basically fight crime. So there's something a whole new flavor. Those like, oh, yeah, that's a cool way to fight crime. And from a visual standpoint, you throw them again Spiderman a red and blue spandex heroes like the most. Tada, and then you've got this guy in black and white with a pseudo mullet and a broken nose. Like, he looks like the opposite of Spiderman in every way. And I think that was a lot of his appeal was this was an age of leaving the silver age going into golden age. I think the silver age just ended issue one twenty two when Gwen Stacy died that affectively ended this over age of comics to the point that comics changed size, which is fascinating. Like it was less than a year. Earlier that comics physically changed how they were made. And so he's coming up into the gold native comics post silver age, and it is the crime era of comic books. You've got the gangster books. You've got you know, hammerhead was really important in big. Then you've got to m- stone. You've got all these mafioso characters. And then you've got a guy that takes them out the same way, they dish it out, and that's fascinating for comic books. Yeah. When I was going to say when he said the broken nose that money they picked John burnt-out because John burnt Paul said that he's broken his nose fourteen times. Amber once I was listening to a Houston getting a lot of fights. Which was funny because I watch him. He's an amazing actor he actually went to acting school. In russia. He got accepted and went over there and said, it really changed his life. And it's so fascinating listening to him. Because I was like, oh, I would never date you. No one. I see him as an actor. I'm like, oh my gosh. Like, I'm in love with him. Granted he's married and has three kids. But like, and then when I hear him listening when I listened to him, and he talks about how many fights would get in..

As Netflix Kills Its Marvel Shows, 'Daredevil' Season 3 Is A Must-Watch

"Or those characters going in. I just don't. So these shows to really good job of, you know, introduced these characters showing them. Many of these characters were flawed, which I think was good thing to see. Imperfect heroes, you know, which we hadn't seen a whole lot of it. We kind of had the MC you had shown us some of that, but these were characters that you know just weren't perfect. They had their flies. They had their issues. They had their problems. They had checkered difficult pass sometimes. But through that all they tried to find a way to, you know, to be a hero for their city and the people around them, and I really enjoyed that. So you know, like daredevil did an amazing job and they also took their time to just, you know, build the origins or the starting points of these characters. Right? They didn't rush it. Didn't rush. You know, it's just like, you know, just Jones now right to the action. No, they didn't do that. Daredevil definitely didn't do that. We didn't even see his conic suit until the very end of season one just the way it was, you know, and Luke cage. Same thing, you know, like we, we didn't get to see. Like, you know, we saw him show up a little bit and Jessica Jones, I think, came out before Luke cage season one, but you know, we got to see that there so we already got to see. And that's another thing the shows have done. They've kind of like, you know, start to ties in these characters together. They've shown up on some of each other shows, which I think has been a great idea. It's worked out really well. And like I said, I've gotten to watch some of daredevil season three so far. I haven't watched all of it, but I like what I saw so far and Jessica Jones. Even though season two had a few flies, it was still a good show. It was an enjoyable show. It was a show I enjoyed watching. So, yeah. And like I said, even an even punisher, which punisher originally came in for the. Those that don't know on daredevil season to, you know, John Byrne all came in. And again, we had gotten not one, but two punisher movies, and I had a chance to watch both of them recently. And I have to say, I, I forgot how bad the first one was, and it's sad because the first one is star studded in this big film and had a lot of potential. But it was really, really bad. And then I gotta see punisher war zone, which I thought was this video.
