Politics never crossed my mind when you were standing there and Pope Francis is speaking to everybody. Was that your biggest pinch me moment comment or yes no question when I've spent twenty years trying to get a pope to come and address a joint session of Congress when I I started this in one thousand nine hundred five hundred the number four leader Gingrich's the brand new speaker. I thought it was a big shot and I fire this letter off to John. Paul would of course I get response and staying a little bit really office in a little bit bigger than it used to be not really not really. I.

"Now this was a special addressable in the state of the Union. This was a special president wanted to do in September of two thousand eleven twelve so we're a bear I'm talking about this rally golf and and thank goodness of my my staff told me a Mike was the presence might pick it up this whole conversation. Thank God talking about golf. I could have been talking about yeah was such asshole. Worse staff was saying that they could hear your conversation but they couldn't get a hold of you to tell it was on and they were like thank God. He's talking like if I told US hand signals and I think that's a beautiful spot doc the to really start because your story is very very interesting. I think that there's a lot of people in politics who grew up in very silver spoon type of situations. It was just natural them to be in politics. Your story is so different from that in starting with you being the speaker of the House talking to the vice president on a first first name basis just bullshitting about golf when you were a young boy growing up in your father was running a bar and owning a bar. There's no way that those things went through your mind correct so no no I never we never talk politics in our house. I think about politics and we were Kennedy Democrats but you know there's no real discussion about it and you know I've got eight brothers. Three sisters and my parents were there other. My grandmother moved him mm-hmm. We have fifteen people in a house with two bedrooms and that's where I learned politicking. You have the the working for a couple of years. They had these three bedrooms three bedrooms and finally my parents got their own room. They used to sleep on a couch for fifteen years probably and my grandmother got than girls got a robe and the younger boys were among the older boys another room but we only have one bathroom some middle write the book and one morning this spring. We spent a whole morning talking about growing up couple of thinking about it and I thought wow I just revelation. I don't think I ever remember growing up and get download the bath tub or the shower and dry off with a dry town yeah how how damp was it right ensure that at that time you might have got an in with the freshwater like you probably they use somebody else's too. Although we didn't have city water we were in the city but up on a hill so we had a sister we had oh well but the well went dry so we had a sister so we collect Rambaud or off the roof which worked most of the year but when you got to August September you had to go by water under water trucking up dump water but as I found a couple of lessons I needed to learn to be speaker of the House learned growing up and I grew up in a big family learning to get along with each other and get things done together Europe in a bar after learn to the art of being able to disagree without being disagreeable drunks me sitting there all night at the bar and you're right so you don't I want to agree with him to develop the to be able to disagree without being disagreeable right now. They have a lesson you learn you have to learn to deal with every jackass will walks in the door. The I watched my dad do this at some point in your life. Look back and wonder why you are who you are. I watched by DAB treat every personal walked up our as a customer it doesn't matter whether they were CEO or are they were some labor the matter what color they were and it was a great lesson for me looking back and trying to figure out why I am the way I right but when you're speaker Laos trust me you need to know the order to be able to disagree without being disagreeable and you need to learn to to deal with every jackass walks in the door and we ought to walk through the story that got you to that position as well. This is obviously a military podcast. We delve elven politics a little bit but it always has a touch of military side to it as well. You grew up whenever you're young men. The war in Vietnam was going on and and as the son of a bar owner you didn't have the money necessarily to get a deferment like no no I I got up by papers to get my physical and when I got my physical in nineteen sixty nine while I was there I went by Navy recruiting office was there and they had a program for equipment heavy equipment operators and in the CB's so I went and talked to this recruiter you gave me this wine but no basic training a- Bob and then I'd have to take this test why you want to take this test drive heavy equipment house reverend bulldozers loaders and backhoes thing and stuff like that and I I had every job you could ever imagine to make a nickel. I worked at my dad's bar growing up I worked for a couple of different roofing companies you they could make a buck. There was never a day of my life. I didn't have a job right until I retire from Congress one day of my life. I didn't have a job all right so I decided all right. I'M GONNA sign up was a two and a half year enlistment going to be a CB so and the CB's underrated crazy bunch of folks yeah but k. both in our MP's background and trade but the barracks were they go to initial boot camp now is at Fort Leonard Missouri and their barracks was right across the barracks from us and they would sometimes be out earlier than the Marines and these people in the navy screaming. CB's can't do like literally all Dan do they are so often Gulfport Mississippi and those old would barracks. There's a seabass down there and were there a couple of days and all of a sudden Hurricane Camille comes rolling through town. I remember watching a guy jump off of dock down to a parking lot except he didn't go down he floated out there about thirty feet before his feet every hard to the ground so we spend what do you mean started training and we spend three or four days looking for bodies doing rescue we were just people may well. I've got this bad back of Adam for fifty years and my back started acting I'm saying I can't move and so they. They're trying to figure out what's wrong. I spend six weeks ago six Lehmann Lazy Company and that we're sick there were laying there were finally after I don't know I was in the navy about three months. It sent me home yeah and that's what the army was going to draft me because we take them or are you are you. They tell me you know the draft listen. The army has different medical standards than the navy good for us while vizier. I want by find this recruiter sure to give them my two cents worth about no basic training and yep this is all nonsense and so now held draft me. He's he's a Nana. That's not going to happen and the guy took care of me but you know I I want him to go. Run heavy equipment do do my part for the war. My father served my uncle's observe. My grandfather got gas in World War One wow and in France and and one thousand nine hundred eighty they sent him home telling me gotta move out in the country so moved out bought those places where where I grew up and and he was one of the original health food nuts he he had truck every vitamin known to man and he died in nineteen seventy two you who am I gosh and his grandsons rippin heaters over here you paul he would be a good story for anybody out there. Listening who's been tricked picked by a recruiter which is all of us worry. This guy got tricks as well houses trick by your dirty ass crew right. You're not alone. There are definitely not alone. You went on after you went to the Navy and you've got out of the navy. Then you went to Xavier. I finally was nineteen. Seventy seventy one driving a bulldozer pushing a a big pay on their bill nye seventy four out of Cincinnati water water splashing up January water splashing up on me freezing but I was also a football basketball referee and so basketball season and my my mentor that I worked with was an accounting professor Xavier University so what night Saturday night after a game we're we're all all the officials on the east side since I would go place called Kenwood tavern and we'd sit around the breeze and he said to me painter. I'll check this lady out she her lyrics were clever and it was funny hearing all of that Innuendo in those examples put into word form in and excuse means a music forum. She wasn't that great in my opinion. Now Buddha's pitched. That's my opinions of your Music Joyce. You're lashing. We gotta go yeah. I mean no doubt I would love to have her come in for the radio actually and do like a live rendition of like her Shit I. I believe she is a marine. She either is or you. Don't come on this without being like the phrase Buddha's bitch. If you utter the phrase Buddha's bitch in front of me I oughta that's you don't even have to show me Your D to fourteen. I automatically know that you're in the Marine Corps and her songs show such an like an Jeff Knowledge of the Marine Corps Geez for sure we gotta show she's. She's my eighth amid all right. Let's move onto round number to do you WANNA walk us through that more wholesome yeah chaff by the way just be thankful that you miss this whole dating online with APPs seem. I'm happy I'm no longer part of it. I WANNA catfish. Somebody I WANNA use not like my own picture but I wanNA use somebody who I would say a a solid for like my looks like a four point six. I WANNA find somebody who's like a four point six and just use my personality and what I think would work on dating sites just to see how good I would do me and my wife almost did it one night. We almost made one together just so we could fuck around with it while we were watching jeopardy and see how many people we could you gotta get the hook up with us. That's a slippery slope libary. Slow Breeze love next the next thing you know next thing you know you're sandwiched between two dudes from Des Moines and you're wondering how it got signed me up up all right. Let's move onto round two comes to our friends over at a stars and stripes a little bit of a surprise I story with the help of his cane. Ninety six year old Clarence Boyer stood before the Shiny Marble fountains of the World War Two memorial on the National Mall this Wednesday and rendered entered a sharp salute admiring the bronze star medal with combat V. for valor pins on the Lapel of his Third Armored Division Jacket side note the World War Two memorial is my favorite memorial acids acids gorgeous. It was a moment that had been a longtime coming almost seventy five years smaller had earned the moniker the hero of Cologne own as a twenty one year old tank gunner after destroying the seemingly unstoppable German Panther tanks blocking the army's Third Armored Division on their march to the Rhine River in world war to most of his crew had never received combat awards for heroism and he wasn't prepared Wednesday when the army finally presented and real quick. I saw this story from someone I follow on twitter a woman named Mackenzie who actually attended the ceremony she lives down in DC and the photos she posted it was at memorial said how beautiful it is. They had a full military Dan. They're a really nice crowd. They had beautiful like gold embossed programs. They were handing out the told his story and there was even a tank loan from a guy in Pennsylvania who painted it from the military but it's from some dude mania who has a hobby collecting this guy I read up on it. This guy collects extent. We need to go to that dude's house to get on the pod. I know have bursting anyway. I was real surprised sets more who arrived at the memorial Wednesday morning expecting affecting visit as a tourist. He said he had long ago given up on receiving valor award. He was promised for his actions March six nine hundred forty five. That's interesting to note. He was promised so it was you recognize that he deserved just never received it. It's an honor he said Wednesday on receiving the bronze star I wear the medal a memory of all the young boys who lost their lives there during that time so if you WANNA learn more about you can just Google Clarence Moyer Spelled S. m. o. y. e. r. and hero of Cologne and it's a pretty incredible story and worth noting voting several other several other men who were promises medals have since passed but their families got to go and received the medal of their members. I just thought that was not. I know this is a petty thing I hated this happens to veterans and it happens all the time it's happening to veterans to where you rate these medals and and yes whenever you get out technically doesn't have anything to do with promotion but with certain levels at our of that level of valor there's enormous benefit that comes with ah whether it's the reduction of interest rate on your home the qualification for your children to go to school for free the way that you pay for registration in certain states like the education benefits on and on and on for awards inner like Bronze Star with Valor and above are purple heart actually and above. I hate that this happens because this guy could've if with the Silver Star there's so many scholarships that would have been available to his children and yes seeing him where at ninety eight years old is beautiful but you also think damn what did he miss out on any truly rated that the that the country should have given him for his actions. Yeah I mean better late than never ever but I agree with you. It is a shame that it took this long so recognize his actions and I think triggered about that because I've been spending so much time lately it feels like with World War Two veterans which is awesome. I mean just yesterday. I drove down to college station to hang out with a gentleman that we're going to play his interview next Friday and just wait till you hear that it is unbelievable believable like some of the stories that he told but we'll get into that next Friday another amazing episodes coming then so make sure that you stick around for that but for all right now we're going to go into our interview that we have with former speaker of the house John Bainer now before we get into that kate and I went down there with Bren- last week cons had some other things going on but cosmetic with them before and so this story is not gonNA surprise after Kate and Brennan had to catch a train back to New York because Kate had to be back for radio and some other things the next day while I was flying back I went out to the same Italian place that we all three are all four of us eight in in had wine with him before so we go inside and you guys know kind of like my running joke whenever we go to a restaurant together spaghetti no matter what restaurant we go to a Mexican Mexican place in Daytona Beach. I'm like what's the Spaghetti Warehouse Spaghetti so we go to this Italian place. We're sitting around this congressional staffers Dafur around there's other people who have important jobs who've worked on like the Hillary Clinton campaign and things like that they're all going around. They're getting like veal Scaloppini and like gala Ma Ma like they're getting all this different Shit it comes around to me speaker banner sitting across the street across the table for me and I say I'll have the spaghetti and meatballs and he looked at me and he goes what in the fuck is wrong with you and it's like it's kind of my thing about a couple of glasses of wine just one a little bit of spaghetti and meatballs and the waiter was like I can't even think of the last time somebody ordered Spaghetti and meatballs at this restaurant I was like like that do which is honestly Kinda hypocritical when you learn about his affinity skype in you're going going to hear more about that. He did the second just that whatever side of the political fence you're on this is just a fantastic sixth grade Taylor this guy and both sides of the fence down in DC like when we went to dinner with them the first time politicians from the left the right we're stopping by and chatting him up and he just has has that kind of quality about him that you just want to listen to what he has to say so if you're listening highly recommend their stories in here I think at this point people realize that we're not like contentious interviews and I think we even said this with the speaker after we're not meet the press that's not what we're designed to do. Were designed to show people stories of that. You might not not hear about it from the other side I had no idea that speaker banner was a CB or why he got into it and some of his background so we're not going to go back and forth with like political arguments when we're sitting in the living room it was just a great conversation to have and I would do it a thousand times in fact I would say he's a friend like we went and whatever we were walking to the restaurant facetime with my wife. My wife was just sitting there and we facetime and she was like I can't believe I just got a facetime from speaker of the House. He's just a great person to be around. I think it's important to highlight that that just goes to show that most of these people in Washington a good majority of them are actually good people and it's when they get in front of a camera or when they are in print that they have to get really divisive but we saw firsthand and you guys saw again last week that but they're actually just good people and they don't necessarily harbor any hate towards anybody else on the other side. It's just there have to argue with them and fight with them because of where they stand politically so it's interesting to see behind the curtain a little bit and see these people for the main point main take away you can disagree without being disagreeable. Here's the speaker of the house jump Bainer well now zero block thirty. We've been trying to make this podcast work for months and I'm so excited we had a wonderful night a couple of months ago. It was in July June. Something like that and we had glasses of wine ripped many any cigarettes with the former speaker of the house John Banner. We are in his house now hanging out and we're just going to have a nice little conversation super excited. It's true and don't tell him I'm going to browse through some of his toiletries later. See if see if I can take any soaps home oh speaker Sir hello well. It's really good to be with you yeah so now talking to Mr Banner is that he has stories for days and one of those we are just what about to get into was when he was hot might with vice president buying it you wanna tell us about that sir. I don't know whether it was twenty. Twelve or twenty a might have been two thousand. There's an eleven but anyway I opening the houseman starting to get everything ready for the state of the Union members were there and the vice president leads the Senate into the House Chamber for the State of the Union and then so this case was Joe Biden so joe comes up and he and I hire friends and I'm telling you about this round round of golf that I played in August and.

"Welcome back to a special edition of meet the press. I'm Chuck Todd now to a conversation with a colleague of mine, you know, him as the man at the big board. NBC news national political correspondent Steve Kornacki, I wanna pivot here a little bit too impeachment. I was out in Vegas. Harry Reid this Harry Reid and John Boehner are doing their, hey, we got John bainer to be his cO cheer for. It's fascinating to guys that I never thought really got along. Yeah. When they were in congress. They swear to me they did better than you realize that they politics. The public politics kept things away. What was interesting was sort of a whole bunch of people from Harry Reid's past were there. Whether it was a to Obama chiefs of staff were there. Dennis McDonough and Rahm Emanuel. There was a Frank Farren compass Grogan sort of old time Republicans you'd bainer in. So there was a lot of talk and a lot of chatter about impeachment and a lot of chatter about the politics of impeachment. And I reminded I told people that after Sunday after the show I got an Email from Tom data's Tom. Davis Republic, former Republican congressman who you you. And I both like the guy because he's such a junkie. The way he likes counties, the guy can tell you county results of presidential elections that go back to the fifties. And he sent me a note to remind me says, yes, the politics of impeachment were not good for the Republican party in nineteen ninety eight. He says, but I promise you, George W Bush is elected president without it. And I mentioned this to a bunch of these. And I I don't I don't wanna say who said what to me I throw out some names, and I mentioned this and one of the people jumped on and said, you know, there's a lot of truth to that the long-term messaging that the Republicans gained on the Clinton brand in general and on character paid dividends throughout the first decade of the twenty th century. And it's something Democrats to think about what do you make that? So my take on it is. And let's let's plug your book, man..

"What what's going on? You do look a little pale. But I think it's something else. Yeah. Something else, something you. Okay. Alvin as you know, and I know and the people listening. No today's Friday. Yes. We just in our one today. I hope you didn't miss our one because we were able to unpack. What we're doing with CSI CSI Christian, solidarity international. We're doing a fundraiser for them this month, and we had on two of the principal people who run that organization. Absolutely phenomenal to hear from them. Yes. What they're doing. It's one thing for us to yak when you hear them tomorrow right there right there on the hope he didn't miss that. Because a lot of times people ask where's God is God alive today? What about all these suffering people? Well, if you listen to our one today, John Boehner and Joel vendors back they are doing God's work along with your help. Because those of you who give to see us. I you make it possible. But you wanna talk about God's work. They are literally redeeming the captives they are literally freeing slaves, and the most amazing thing there's a cab someone who's in captivity for twenty nine years two hundred and fifty. The American dollars. Frees a slave like that two hundred fifty dollars. It's just it's it's almost embarrassing. Think about how wealthy we are in the west that for that kind of amount of money. We can affect a life forever. It's a little chilling. It's it's one of these things that you think I don't want that much responsibility. But folks, God has given us the gift to be able to do that. And so our job is to pass.

"A science experiment gone terribly wrong. Here's what's coming up on the nice guys on business. I going to tell you when you said that like a hundred fucking comments fly through my mind is such a softball like I've so they're low. Andy walks. The bases loaded on twelve straight pitches. How can the nice guys Lael pitches that close? I, thou shall take out the holy pin, then thou shalt count to three, no, more. No less four, thou shalt not count, then count thou to expecting thou then proceed to three five is right out. Once the number three being the third number be reached. Then lavas thou the holy hand grenade of Antioch towards the nice guys on business need an education on how to grow your business. The nice guys are here to help learn about great customer service networking and how just being nice can help you prosper. Now hero, you're. Host, Doug Sandler and Strickland Bonner your fourteen percent or are we going to crap out? Do we need a quick episode. Oh, I see. They turned off the mega maze. So I've got a fourteen percent more WI fi before it dies and nuts. So it's ok, never. Okay. Joining to stop recording some reasons. Why that you need to tell me. Do we have anything private lives? Nothing. Right. Hey, look and fans. Welcome back. Welcome back by the way, whatever it is the beginning of this recording. I'm sure it's all going to be in the recording because you know what? There's nothing private between Doug and I, it's all about the fuck advanced love you guys in. We are completely transparent with you. I don't even. I can't even imagine what in my life would be so private that I cannot share it with the nice guys on business podcast. What would that be? Imagine anything so private that I couldn't share it with the three or four thousand people download every episode of this easy asked show. It's not like anybody ever held anything against me in really. I mean, never. I mean, I've, I've talked relationship stuff. I've talked health stuff. I've talked GMO things you and I have gotten in arguments. I've gotten in arguments with with ex wives. I've had my kids on the show. I mean, what? What else could possibly go wrong on this show? Well, having said that I'm going to spend the virtual meal. Yeah, I don't have the wheel because I'm not at home. Right? But I'm, I'm still in Connecticut. I know come for anybody that doesn't know anything about banking as listen to the Tuesday show. We talked about sensitively, so go back and listen. If you didn't listen, hang on. I'm looking through the topics because the tie what you just said about being transparent is one of your topics. And now I can't. I don't know on being transparent was one of the topics. I mean a happy to talk. About transparency but was topics. It was indirectly topic because it was something about your relationships. Where's that topic? Oh, yeah, yeah. Whitney. The topic was I wanted to my relationship, woes and successes. I wanted to share one men women, and that's exactly. Okay. Doug, go ahead please. It's actually actually so so JJ zan's. And created this other podcasts because struggle with tired of hearing, hearing me being the why. Why he knows bitch. Tired of it. So JJ and I while she had already had this show called, I spell the wrong actually put men, women and relationships as actually. But it is women men in relationships. Some. Sorry, I'm laughing because as you're saying that looking at the page in one note chain, you're making changes to Beijing. I wanna to make sure it's very clear what I did I corrected myself. So if you if you were curious exactly what has happened, speaking of total transparency, it's not that I don't wanna share exactly what has happened in my life, but Strickland is frankly, he's probably tired of hearing it for me and everybody that knows me because all they do is complain about how all I do is complain. So we're, we're talking about total transparency, right? Yeah, sure. Go ahead. I'm going to be totally transparent with. Okay, I am. I am far less tired of hearing about your relationship Bose. I don't want to say I find it interesting. Interesting makes them sound kind of trite and it's because your your relationship was more the trait. They're very important four before you share what you're about to share, though I wanna let you know that the next sentence that you say you're going to hurt my feelings. Well, maybe possible. Things more.

What I'm totally fine hearing about your because I think any information about relationships, whether they're good better and different, I think is great information for people to hear and learn. I'm much. I'm not really tired of hearing about that. I am tired of hearing about how fucking corn is the worst on nude body in fucking GMO's in the chemicals and the all the fucking California should that you've adopted less two months. So hold up. Hold up. Hold up. It's interesting. You say that because when we had our production call just earlier tonight, I was explaining the trials and tribulations of trying to put my essential oils in my diffuser. Thank you. That's exactly piling on his exactly the kind of that. I am really fucking. That's the best that is the greatest thing. And then I held up a little a little jar of my Himalayan sea salt. I love this this entire experience here on the west coast. It's been so amazing. So. So. I'm sorry, did you owns now to calm myself? So I don't get upset to hear more about all of your California lifestyle, hey, strategy strikes. You'll you'll like this part though. I just made arrangements to have my Harley shipped out here so that my life will be will be coming slowly. The east coast will slowly be moving its way to the west coast. I will no longer just be able to transport myself from one spot to another in either my my beach cruiser bicycle mice, GameBoy or my skateboard I will actually have a motorized vehicle. So what you're saying is that when when you're cyncial oils are not quite there and win, your shock crews are not quite valid. I never said the words. Shocker I've is. You will be able to hop onto your fucking American-made Harley. Davidson. Motorcycle fucking crank it up to about one hundred twenty guests Ables of caffeine. Looking exhaust sound to drive around LA in piss off all the people in their silent Tesla's to get all those shock RAs back in light. Again, I approve of this one hundred percents oh my gosh, I love it. I love it. Well, I'm glad that you approve at least of one portion of my west coast lifestyle, but I have to tell you straight when you were here and you were hanging pull side and you were doing karaoke and singing who songs from inside the poll, and we would podcast inside the pool. You weren't fucking complaining then were you motherfucker. Shea shea? Yes, that is an excellent retort, Doug you. You'd make an excellent point. When I maybe I may have few words, but they are. They are wise words and their well-placed. My friend, well-placed, look, I really wanted to make that argument. I would make the same argument about that that I would have been about Vegas, right? I love going to Vegas. Vega since January. February? Yeah, long fucking time as a long time. For many months? Yeah, I would never alike visiting Vegas Vegas like escape. And on the trade shows, it's gambling relaxing? Yeah, I would never want live there personally. I kind of feel the same way away. I really like to visit. I'd love to see you again and I did. I loved have the pool hanging out with your friends and like recording podcasts at the pool and Chilin. I just don't think I could live there. You know what? I really like about it a lot. I think that I think that this was an unusual kind of extra bonus that it didn't realize that I was getting is then I love the fact that when it's nine o'clock my time, it's midnight your time, and I'm still feeling in that zone with you because like for me, twelve o'clock is was way too late to do anything, but you are always up for it for me, nine o'clock is like mice. I'm slowing. Downtime. So, oh, I do love the fact that I'm three hours behind you. Oh, believe me. That was not lost on me because right now, currently, as we're recording this right now, it is. It's nine fifty one in l. a. which. Right? It's twelve fifty one here at a cat annually fucking ready to go because that's just me. I'm just tonight. Was funny night person because I still get up at six or seven every day. I just don't sleep. I don't need to sleep. I. I don't get hired Marjorie yacht. Yup. Yup. Yup. Embarrassed Mark through, but I don't think she listens. We shouldn't that be wait a second. We make our fucking guest list new show. We don't make our own employees. Listen to this show force them. She's listened to a few episodes. I just don't think she listens regularly all the time. I mean, I hope she doesn't like I hope he doesn't show to sit. She's part of the team now it doesn't matter took I don't think. think. Seriously. I don't think she'd be embarrassed. Honestly, I don't even listen to our show. That she. So early on so Marjorie. Okay. Let's give a little backstory. Right? You love the details right old. Three Marquette, yes. So when I came out to visit the first time I've visit you and JJ. Right, and we're talking it was after San Diego, and we're just talking in very general terms, hey, turnkey needs some help, and we technical person. We may need some more MR and JJ says, hey, I noticed remarks, right? And she's great. And I, I really think she'd be right for you. And by the way, I think, let's let's reach outdoors you. She can come hang out with a site. You can be. Okay, cool. That was that was a good, hang out actually. So we call her and she's like, sure I can hang out today and you and me and Jane Martin, we all know hanging out drinking like tricky. Keep our red light long. Right? We had a great time. We Marjorie very well, we, we clicked. It was great. So not only was it that she had the right skill set, but she was the right personality type, right, great personality, great attitude, and I love her right, I do too. So we hired her on the teeth. She's now a permanent full time. Part of the turnkey team. You helping us out with all kinds of great stuff. So a couple of weeks. So we hire and martyr were chatting back and forth somewhere kind getting to know each other. And she reaches out to randomly calls me and she's like, hey, treasure question covers Russian. Like, okay, she's like. You don't seem to sleep. I said, okay, we don't know what you're the very well, but that is very stupid. Ulceration your for. Right. She just, how do you do that? And I said, okay, it's interesting question. And then she Laverick. She's like, look, you seem like a pretty fun, positive upbeat person. You don't seem to sleep much, but you seem okay. It's not like you're of Bogin tired of on whatever I right, right. And so I said, well, I gotta tell you through four or five years ago. I was that person. I was like sleeping law. I was so tired. I was down whatever. I'm I've repulsive outlook on life. You know, I try to look at the good things, but also I love what I do. Right. Like I love doing this podcast you, I love turnkey a love, our turnkey clients. I mean, most most. Go down that road. Right. Look as as most of you may know I work a day job, right? I'm a report data, annals for social solutions. I love angel. I don't do the job because all my gotta make other. Day job. And so my typical day hours a day eight or nine one. hours, right? I come home. I eat dinner, hail by family bid bid one. Have a cell phone with, Jared, I gotta tell you when you said that like a hundred footing comments fly through my mind is such a softball like I've so there. So the first comment that comes to mind is I'm not gay. I just let him suck my dick. Good light. Exactly. Who doesn't like you could blow job right. And then the second comment is, did we talk about sheltering twelve dollars from the government in blow job in the same episode? Because I just don't even remember. I think it went. I think it was about a week ago. We were talking about how we can find a tax shelter or something like that for the twelve dollars in turn key. And then I, I, maybe I meant to comment made a comment about a blowjob, twelve dollars. I don't remember. I don't know. I don't either, but by the way hall, dude, you do not need an excuse to call in and ramble about whatever we don't give a shit. We love the call. I do believe that was one of your other topics. Wasn't it? Forty? Two, forty, two DJ Jagger's that have a police Glenn. Anybody anything. You wanna talk about anybody who wants to talk. We are going to play the voice mail or not even gonna listen to a head of time. So if you wanna call forty two j Doug and just you excellent ex-. Okay. Got a couple of drinks a couple of scotches doing a skew expletives we don't. We're not gonna. Listen to head tower. It's gonna play. No, no, we want you. We want you to leave voicemails. Just go ahead, funk, and fans. Those that are out there. There's many of you that have not left messages in a long long, longtime Jared were or ever. We, Jared, we very much appreciate your messages. You keep them coming in, but all of our other funk advance. I can't name all of you because I know I know who you are. I know you wanna leave a message, please go ahead and pick up the phone. Forty, two forty zoo DJ Doug, we will play the message. You can even just babble for five seconds if you want to. We don't care. We just want to hear the message, please. We just want to know you're out there. We just wanted to use it. It's all good. Yeah, Jared, dude, we love you. You can call in as often or as many times as you want. And by the way, as Doug said earlier, if there are messages that you have laughed that you that you have heard on the show, just leave him get. Chips. I can't remember Doke sober and he can't. Excuse for me. Okay. All right. Now I want to get just one. I just want what is going on over there Strickland. It's passed. It's passed door. Okay. It's it's one zero, seven less call. I think some of the people the birthday party here there are spilling out onto the highway was going on. Exact, should I post the picture I sent to you the fire and everything like that. As well. Wait, have we done that? Where's Muhammed? Muhamed Chakib we need you back. My friend, my God, Muhammad, each's Muhammed. Where are you? We need to show our please gene. You just do a Google search for flies and then do something like root to it. I don't know that would be for Tuesday in the pudding. Pudding woman, wait a minute. Hold on a second. Okay. Yes, I've had a couple of scotch. Gotcha. Homer. Anything much. Or so. JJ again, like all over the place. Now it's one o'clock in the morning. I'm here from all over. The place are fine. I love it. You're drunk. This is great. Title. Schoenbach joke. So I'm Jay, Jay, Jay Jane. I have done a couple of sessions in. She's amazing. I just have sue shit on. I haven't had a chance to get back with her, but she's amazing. So. Okay, go ahead. None of. So what I was going to say was that. So when when I'm able to chat with her on as the as the as the temporary co host or maybe the part time could not temporary that Jesus, that'll be horrible and temporary Colo's to be the part time. Co host of women. Men in relationships was great about it is we take actually this entire fucked up thing that has happened to me in my relationships in my an and where I might look at it on nice guys as a completely like, oh my God, my life is going down this horrible. You know this horrible path and look what's happened. You know, when I come on her show and we actually ended up having a conversation about it. My life begins to make much more sense. Maybe every maybe an and we discovered this when we were in Baltimore, just just a week or so ago. And and you know, I'm I'm sitting there in the chair and we're having we're having Bret or is sitting there in the booth. And we're having a breakfast with a buddy of mine. And I said, I don't even know where this this, this, this, this thought came, but I'm like, hey, maybe everything that has happened in my life up to this point, the divorces and you know the the people that have been mad at me and all this, the the exile in the stress and the all of the shit that has happened in my life. Maybe all of that. If I'm looking at this from a different filter, if I'm looking from this at a different angle in perspective, maybe this all happened for a reason that is positive to teach me something that I'm going to be able to take the next part of my life. And I'm like, I would never have been able to think those thoughts. I would always been. I would always been thinking, why the fuck did this all happen to me rather than this happened to me for a specific reason and it was an intended reason and it's a part of this this just this this path that I'm on, that's this is. Contract that I have made with myself. And when you look at it that way, it's like nothing in life ever happens for a reason poorly. It all happens for to teach you a lesson. So that's what we cover in women. Men relationships if you want to a slightly still a funny part of me, but a much more serious funny part of me. Listen to that that show because we do get into kind of deep with with relationships here. Here's where we just bash everything going on in my life on Tuesdays and Thursdays, and that is that is okay with me or the beginning of the show were hash you for the whole California lifestyle? Yes. GMO's in the corn is not instable. Okay. The comment that you just made about in hate? Maybe everything that has happened to me is actually happened for he said, yes, if that is part of the California lifestyle that support I agree with. I'm going to tell you. Is my bell. Bell. That is my philosophy, our percent, they're no such thing as stakes. There's no such thing as bad things that happen to you. And by the way, this big overall picture big picture. Yeah, could almost maybe be considered business advice if you want to consider business vice. Although we haven't given business advice on the guys. In a long time. So I don't wanna break that streak ship, but we do. It's just only three fifths of the week is business advice, the two-fifths of the week, known as Tuesdays and Thursdays, which is also one hundred percent of your time, which means that the only common element in the dysfunction of our Tuesdays and Thursdays is used stricklin. Realize that right despair dot com. Won't you realize that the only comment denominator in all of your dysfunctional relationships. I love that anyway. So back to I am one hundred percent of the belief in the philosophy, and I am so down with this. I am so aligned with this. That. Bad things don't happen. Okay. Mistakes don't happen and horrible things. Don't happen there to things that happened there, either successes or there are less when something bad happens. It's not like over. Just fucking horrible. And why the fuck did this happen to me new? It's trying to teach you something who knows what it is. And sometimes at the time it happens, it just not seem obvious. It doesn't seem like this could be productive. It doesn't seem like this could be something positive because it's something so horrible. You know what? Sometimes you just got to be patient go, you know what? Positives and I am a hundred percents on our that. I'm feeling there is a little bit of business advice in there somewhere. And now you've gone and spoiled it for everybody. Dammit pay for those of you who only listen to the Tuesday and Thursday show and completely Shum the month. Monday was your Friday because you don't want MRs vice. I'm sorry. I apologize. I didn't mean to infuse just a tiny bit of what might be considered business advice into the to say, while I got you on while I got you on a little bit of Iran tear just just talking in general, just as your as your. River, your verbally vomiting here. Can you explain it? I'm not. I don't wanna get into the politics of this. I just want to get into the understanding of where we stand with this. Do you know what's going on? Because I have not followed it at all. Other than through my CNN alerts.
