narrow the space is is a desk that must run for what seven or eight meters long and it's got one two computers on it to a committee that my wife is a little tiny bit of the and I say this is my own space by detaching the end relent and give her about from a culture of the length of his house and his wife and two green is a very successful TV and film producer there is a wonderful tool here at school the divorce store and it slides it's a cross and was there it is a jail is not out of my life when I'm working really in construction I should explain that absolutely everything in this room is designed in some way to inspire me to work and to write so you'll see there lots of objects everywhere and things and they will matter to me like this attention rockets over that and a bust of tension as well he was my very very first ever inspiration here are some plastic figurines of Alex rider that came when the film was made which is good and when I start work at seven in the morning I feel that I'm always striving myself into a spaceship please check with the front of us now is a bit like that of a captain cook spaceship seat and I'm gonna go on a journey into the books and into the world that I'm creating and nothing else will matter I have a both hands yeah and so I I choose a pen and I wasn't she's a coloring hi I love differently so I have his blue black steel blue turquoise T. you'll ace the ease of new mystery black lady will great names using seven that Mrs is one here is my favorite thing for the moment so I'm using it directly to you so I'm not rushing to be delayed because not loving so did blue for Alex Raja yeah well you know again it's a it's a question his ahead of him interesting I pull this because he is hideous is sort of a big fat blank pendant if you look on the top the top of his sort of plastic and inside it is a real diamond the business in a pen I imagine a Russian one of them could use so I used this pen to write Russian roulette which is the story of an on a dock since I found out because when the inch justice always years ago I first met Anthony in twenty twelve when he was researching his early on extra to Brooke Russian roulette friends introduced us as he wanted to talk to someone who like me lived in the Soviet Union and Russia in the nineteen eighties and nineties I was struck then how meticulous and dedicated he was about to search do you put as much research into children's book as in the idols but I think probably little more in some ways I would pull totaling for the last book in Yorkshire and these are my notes and everything and you can see how Iraqis would often everything what's here I'm glad to hear because she demonstrated I do really I'd really do write everything by Penn his me working today this is just some notes yesterday that's making I tried on a page here I've got the wood is stuck in a box and I've got next week glosses and I've got ninjitsu and crowd of America and Molly tie unlike us why don't I what I'm doing here is I'm thinking of an action sequence addicts or not Alex another boy he's going to find his way onto a piece out he's gonna use methods over those three sporting activities including you can see here axe kick and I would love the collarbone from a movie I could break somebody's caught up in a spinning back fist punch yeah this is not now because it just sounds like fun a spinning back fist punch I wish I could do that and then poisons stab anyway if anybody from my new book they look me up I mean it it's so violent yes there's an awful lot of violence that well yes but it's a real violence if you order imagine the context it's the context these are the murder mystery which you sort of expect murder mystery have a murderous abouts violent all its action adventure for children so it's not real it is it's only inside the book and I didn't think that I've ever written anything what I would consider to violently I have to say then you have a credible he's getting quite quite dogs I have to pull back a little much would you mind telling me a little bit about the fate of your villains and is it true they they always need extra to be violent death the villains guy the deaths they deserve and it is true that when I creative in often I will think of his or her demise in the same breath you they they always have a smile to them I mean I'll give an example Damien Cray at the end of the fourth I think trying to book a fools out of an airplane and is sucked into the turbine and minced which I would imagine you would say is on pleasant environment but the fact that he's on a T. twenty when this happens we actually goes out of the plane on wheels surrounded by cakes makes me smile that's how it works it's always good have the smart attached hello relating his next Alex write the book Anthony is working on a new series of crime novels I don't several TV scripts to say nothing of attending book festivals in Britain on entry Lanka and doing work for charities he said of the Tosca finishing the sonics write a book in six to seven months as I sit here now I'll be honest and say I need no fifty percent of the book but that's enough to get started to get writing because I'm under pressure we contribute to much of the plot for the new book but I can say that Alex is sucked in to his darkest venture yet when an MI six agent is killed in the Rio de Janeiro the agent is on the trail of a new organization nightshade which is planning a major terrorist incident in central London much shade is unusual in that it uses teenage children as assassins these children have been stolen from their parents and brainwashed they Holly trained an extremely dangerous do you go to a printed out to the first season the first three chapters have to want to see over and out caps to flamingo park chapter three the prisoner and this is I would have said I would guess that's going to be eighty five percent of this you will read in the finished book uhhuh I'm going to switch from handwriting Thomas we need meat I right not even a whole check sometimes sometimes all right just five or six pages and then up as a sort of a reward I'll talk about because it's such a pleasure to have them on computerized beautifully formatted paper we've got three chapters of printed out I'm running next chapter in which to middle class parents who have not often come to London they live somewhere in the country have decided whether come to London to meet the head of MI six away no nothing but it turns out that long ago they lost their son when he was only four years old in an accident again I do into this as I stated quite know what the accident was I think it happened in Devonshire I will do is a tiny village in different ship the parents come from apple little to London I'm told that their son who died in a boating accident twenty fifteen years ago has been found and he is a boy who has committed all these murders in Brazil and the parents are taken to the boy who doesn't recognize in doesn't totally doesn't know them doesn't want anything to do with this quite a cold blooded chapter which is actually quite excites me to write well the other guys sit him now I worry that I did that you have enough material for a whole chapter there's no action is truth will get a bit twitchy if not nothing happens but I think the link and I think that to me there's something in that idea a boy that was because drowned is not turned up as a an assassin and it's just a question of over whether that's enough for a whole chapter but I'll know that as soon as I start writing I take my seat at this end of it S. which is a non computer into the desk yeah Christopher Isherwood famously become one of his books with I am a camera this is the first words of it and that's exactly what happens now which is that I'm sitting here and I've got to look at the world I'm about to create what I'm seeing it is I'm seeing to prematurely old people arriving in London I think give us what was checked is going to be and then he chooses a pen and ink and writes a paragraph for this chapter by hand so I'm thrilled with the cursing out I just written Paddington station mid day the train arrived twenty minutes late finally putting in with the with the wheels grinding and the ancient carriages shuddering to hold it's sort of that I mean you know the cameras.
How I Cold Emailed My Way Onto 27 of the Top Sales Podcasts
"One of the big challenges we have sales people is really building social proof in utilizing correctly to either get a meeting with an important prospect or to close a deal in a lot of US including ourselves up until very recently because we've made a big push to get podcast and really increase increase social proof are in a position where maybe very few people in your industry no of you so into reaching out to a prospect that may have never heard of you before they may have heard of your company but they're not quite sure who you you are and hopping sales call with a prospect especially as it can be. Kinda tough if they've never heard of you prior to you sending a cold email to them Andy Mandarin. We're GONNA have any relevant case studies for their industry. One of the ways that we overcame this challenge was for prospecting was making a really big push to hop on on more podcasts specifically sales to podcasts and if you're wondering we'll hate jason run a business. How is this going to help me sales people you can hop on podcasts as well-made. Scott's podcast podcast where he interviews top one percent sales people is a really good example of that and if you're in sales getting on a podcast of being able to share that interview especially really if you're talking about something maybe not sales related and more about something in your industry can really bring in some credible industry expertise as well and it's a really great wave for prospects to learn about you that are proactive about finding solutions to the problems but also as something that you can share in a follow up after a sales call so that they can listen to you it again. It's social proof the here you WANNA platform so it's a really good way to offer extra value and get in front of people that may or may not have heard view before so let we tell you a quick story because we've read a big Lincoln Post on this. That's linked in the show notes. I definitely recommend you check out but we were able to get on twenty seven of the top sales podcast in in the last eight months and I got on all of these including Scott's for this this opportunity just through through emails so the big thing that we did when we got started and where where you want to start with this. Is You want some social proof to get on the PODCASTS. I'm GonNa talk a lot about social proof. In this episode. You want to get a couple podcasts under your belt so so that you have something to share when you reach out to these other ones so the way we started is I just asked around on our network and I knew a couple of podcasters and I said Hey can we hop up on your podcast and I'd like to talk about something. I think it'd be really valuable for your audience and I had a friend Bras and another friend list in they helped me get on their podcasts and I could been linked to those in other emails when reaching out to other ones so this is what really helped to get that initial social proof to share with bigger podcasts like you know seller dive on recently with Jeffrey Dahmer make. It Happen Mondays with John Barrows and a few other those if I didn't have social proof I wouldn't have been able to get on so step number one build that initial social proof get on some podcast uncast again. Check out that Lincoln Post. It's a really in depth guide to not only how we did it but how you can also do it as well. Step number. Two is finding podcasts so again. Scott has actually put together an awesome list on the site detailing enlisting on all the top sales podcasts. That's a great place to start and where and we'd take it. A step further other is going in and qualifying some of these. You're going to build an countless different than if you're prospecting for any other type of solution or offering is you're. GonNa come up with an account list of podcasts and you're gonNA come with qualifiers so what I recommend doing what we did was they had to have at least ten reviews on itunes a four star rating and they had to have released an episode within the last thirty days what I found out doing a lot of the sound reaches that a lot of people don't have active audiences because they don't post content consistently gently enough and if they don't have a lot of reviews that's usually an indication. There's not a lot of engagement on there. There's nothing wrong with getting on those podcasts to get started but I wouldn't make that it'd be part of your strategy. The next thing you're going to do is find the contact information and

"A big John you're on with Taza splits up Kittle guys. Good morning. How are you? But. I mean, I think Barra's comments were joke to be honest. I mean, I'm one of those die hard. NFL fans that would have said anything after that. Saints Rams game that the NFL would have changed something with the rules even thought they would've maybe put a rule change in before the Super Bowl. So the fact that they're talking about going into this coming year, and they don't know if there's gonna be a change. I think is a joke. But I think we have to also realize the reason that that's the case is you don't have to change it. What is the impetus for the week to change? It hands are going to continue to Quebec ever, watch it. And we're gonna keep talking as we heard anything about this past couple of weeks. Now, we're talking about the draft. Of course, people people transition. Says were John, you know, this is to try to get it. Right. I mean. The main reason I understand your accent rhetorical question. I guess I mean I can deal with human error. I can't deal with boy blatant correctable human error. I mean there are times you watching game. And and there's some mistake or a human error that happens that it doesn't take out to you like your body is like. Wait a minute just fix that. How do you fix that? That's what that was. And it was in one of the biggest games of the year. And the fact that the league bell can just one of the standard veterans or the league John barrow can get up there and say. I don't know if there's a lot of support to change it. I mean, just think about that. To say that. Say that. Well, you say that because there is a. And you say that because you don't want to basically lead the NFL fans. Astray it say that there is what about job our came out and said, well, I don't know. Well, he met with the competition committee, right? You'd eat twenty four hours to bring about change so marriage to spend the truth is basically echoed that you had to begin this phone call job, which is this. They don't have any. They don't need to do anything. They've survived. The I would say media backlash. They survive the week. Log of decorative press, they moved out. They went to the SuperBowl. They played the Super Bowl. We saw the patriots. Celebrate a Super Bowl championship and people have mentally turned the corner. Right. And I mean, Mark you said this. I remember remember a couple years back where Roger Goodell salary came out. And I was like oh my God. How much can you bake something? Well, anybody could run the NFL it's the jeopardize. It's just it's it's a self sustaining juggernaut. And that's how it is take do almost anything and people are people love it. And for various reasons, I can't wait for the season to start just that's because of a patriot trip because John. Do you know? I know that you know, every I'm just curious. Do you have like a lot of Mussa's? Former quotes written down. I have actually the list of Buddhism's lurker and number one in the juices over to squeeze every time. He says that we actually have a drinking game. It's not when have like a bunch of friends. Sit around was the old moose tapes. We do. That's all. Thanks. All right. John screenplays funny. Anyway, I see his point a lot of people have frustrated because you don't want to you know, it's like you look at the NFL. They don't they could they could fix this and to just to get it. Right. But I really believe it's just like listen, they sit in a room. Like, listen, we're going to do we gotta do. We don't need to just every time. Something happens then wanted to create a snowball effect when there's a blown call. I gotta change this rule. I now we got to choose this role. And I'm not saying I agree with them. But I do think that's kind of some of the narrative that happens behind closed doors down. Yeah. I don't I don't. I don't disagree with ya. Well, I think played off that plane off with John just mentioned what he discussed which was I think there, there's no you don't have to bring about change. If you feel like you've if you feel like you've survived. Have you not matter? Everything be there's no there's no negative downturn. There's the the uprising losing the audience as a fan. That's that's right Johnson. And you're supporting they're not right. I mean, they're not going anywhere. Not in the af they're gonna watch Canadian Football League. Yeah. I mean, the af is is after additional opening weekend, which three million people. They've got a, you know, that'd be ad somebody inflex two hundred fifty billion dollars. They say say it, everything is a okay. The interest of the the heat around the talkie the conversation around the af has kind of subsided for the most part. Yeah. That is what it is as far as spring football league. The National Football League is just an app is the absolute. I look at for the National Football League. They don't have to do something if they're okay with it and their orders are okay with what transpired on Super Bowl Sunday on championship Sunday. And they're okay with what happened doubted the warlords between the Rams of the saints, if their orders are okay with it that if they can't get twenty four hours to say, I never want to see that happen again. They're not gonna change eighty. They don't care. They don't have to you know. And I get with John say, and I get what you're saying in both Gaza. Right. I totally great. Yeah. If they could just do they want an and people still be there. Hello angela. How are you, sir? Good morning. While I just get I'm the one who introduced you. Brought you into the show, and then I just got blown off while I get it. Now. What happy? Okay, sorry. I missed the joke. I'm I'm not using surrounded around funny people here. Yeah. You know, what it means? So I mean, that's what happened. You're being a douche well that happens to because they're only in a newsrooms to follow up Andrew. And you kind of sparked me here is you know, and when I walked in. I was approached not approached JJ, John jastremski. How does this list, right? Right. Yeah. Who's who was he works for Buber? Trader. You now. He's all right. Let's just get. Let's let's not get sidetracked. Let's see with me. That's a similar conversation. We had yesterday. Terms of Doha's is a lotta tests. Yeah. Well today jayjay said Hello now. Mike was in the room when it happened. Mike how loud did he say? Hello. He said it like a a louder person he did. And which shows everybody everybody to six or funny man here. And no one is. So so what happens is I'm like, Hello, John. Hello. And now what happens is I say the Mike we'll see he listened to the show yesterday. He must have heard this commentary that happened with us men here. And he must have heard that I was little upset that people won't say definitely saw moose later on. Oh, I was like oh rejoice. It's just a typical narrative. So that's why you and you.

"There was an election yesterday remnant of the midterms in sadly, the people of Georgia continue to vote against their own best interests. The Associated Press called the Georgia secretary of state run off race for the Republican Brad Raffin Sperber. He beat the Democrat John barrow fifty two to forty eight percent, Georgia had the chance to elect a secretary of state who would reverse Brian Kemp's voter suppression policies and stead they elected another Brian Kemp, come on people. You got you got to go to the polls. You a vote. In fact, I got it. I got an Email from one of our listeners. I didn't ask him if I could read it. So I'm not gonna say his name but lives in in Georgia, actually, what he he wrote this on his Facebook page, Georgia, da, and he continued one of our favorite internet talk show host Nicole Sandler, calls her state, Florida. I fear Georgia is trying to wrest the away from them. And here's what he wrote. And I feel for them. He says apparently most of us couldn't find the time to vote over the six days at voting was available to us and don't care if their ability to vote is tailed or voters are votes accurately verified or that the fossil fuels industry controls the rates, we pay on our utility bills. Where were the folks who voted for Stacey Abrams? I know I'm not I know I'm going to get flak for this. But it is plain as day to the non white community decide that because the candidates are white. They saw no reason to bother to vote. I mean, just because the GOP has an industry in place to restrict the ability for those people to cast a vote, then I suppose, it doesn't matter who becomes secretary of state for those of us who pay power and gas bills in Georgia. It must be okay. If our rates continue to grow faster than inflation. And he finishes up by saying citizenship. And a democrat Democratic Republic has one responsibility electing those who will write our laws and establish the rules under which we live in the US not bothering to. Vote. It every opportunity is a failure to carry out that responsibility, not voting is worse than aglet. It is an assault on the US constitution and disrespectful of all the men and women who have sacrificed much, and in some cases, all for our right and ability to govern ourselves not casting vote is a decision to allow others to make decisions for us many elected by default will claim that they have a mandate to do things in our names, even though less than twelve percent of eligible voters bothered to go cast a vote, the founders gave us away to self-govern it's up to us to keep them. And that's why shared that note with you because it was so articulate and perfectly stated the challenge were up against you gotta vote you gotta vote in other news. The Dow Jones industrial average fell nearly eight hundred points yesterday as investors doubts over the US China trade truce renewed anxieties about the pace of economic growth. This is from according to the Wall Street Journal. This is how they put it. They they also in an in an opinion piece wrote, perhaps markets know that tariffs are taxes on commerce, and when you tax something you get less of it, Mr. tease unveiling also hit on a on the day after the yield curve on some treasuries began to invert, which can mean trouble. The economy's still strong enough to survive some uncertainty, but Tara man shouldn't go to war with the laws of economics hill lose the New York Times. Maggie Haberman was on CNN's new day this morning, and she attributed that big stock market dump to Trump's lying stock market drop eight hundred points yesterday, because the investors don't know what the heck happened at that dinner. Right. They don't know what happened, and they don't know what the president is hoping to communicate because he came out, and he said all kinds of things that were at odds, we're lies. They were lies. The president has a very long history of completing a legal problem policy problem with PR problem. And so he is running out trying to spin this with different statements..
Did Georgia cancel the registration of 100,000s of voters?
"The state of Georgia's election infrastructure. I'd issue in Tuesday's runoff election. For secretary of state USA radio's Chris Barnes with details. The runoff election for Georgia's secretary of state pits. Republican state Representative Brad Robbins burger against former democratic congressman John barrow. Neither one more than fifty percent of the votes on election day at stake in the runoff the ability to reshape the state's election system, which came under a national microscope during the recent race for governor between Democrats Stacey Abrams. And Republican secretary of state now governor elect Brian Kemp Rapids burger is defended how Georgia cancelled the registrations of hundreds of thousands of voters and he says, you'll make sure only legal citizens can cast ballots. Barrow says changes are needed. But he says well Georgia does a pretty good job of keeping people from cheating. It does a lousy job of making it easier for people to

"Welcome to the program this evening. We have a ton to cover today. And I'm going to try to do it as expediting sleep as possible while also trying to take your phone calls. What you need to know though, right now early voting has begun in Georgia and a friend of mine who does this for a living. He decided to go out and analyze and see what counties are lagging when it comes to the early vote in absentee votes. Now, this is important because it's not just early voting only started yesterday. So you've only got a day there. But absentee ballots have been circulating now and the who is behind, and I will tell you. There are some counties in the metro area that are lagging. Behind a hall county in particular, the the Republican of Republican areas you are lagging behind in the absentee and early voting turnout. You are a Republican area hall county needs to turn out. Do you really want? The Democrats who were even Nell filing lawsuits to overturn the election in Georgia. Do you really want them in charge of the secretary of state's office? Do you really want them on the public service commission? You need to turn out hall county you need to turn out Henry Cobb, Gwinnett county Republicans if you have friends in Muskogee or bid or Richmond or Chatham county as well you need to turn out. Now, it is interesting that a number of these areas that are behind are actually areas were John barrow should be able to generate a huge turnout, and it's not happening. There is good turn out in butts county in Carroll county in Jackson county and for site county. Qaida county Fulton County gilmer in Spalding county. There is good turn out there right now in early voting other areas in the state need to turn out of Republicans need to amp up the early vote and the absentee ballot generation for the special election. There are two big statewide races on the ballot. Every one of the state will be voted on one is the secretary states race. That's spread ravage burger ver- who's the Republican versus John barrow, the former democratic congressman. I have said for a very long time that Stacey Abrams antics in the governor's race her refusal to concede in all had a lot to do with John barrow that as long as they could keep the sense of victimization alive among Democrats and keep them fueled they hoped they could generate turn out for John barrow, in fact on the last day when she declared that she wasn't conceding. But at the same time the race was over. She started talking about John barrow, and how people needed to go out and vote for John barrow. That's what all of this is about the Democrats recruited, John barrow. They are desperate for him in the secretary of state's office consider this. It's the Democrats who actually think that the secretary of state can control the election and can pull strings in the election, and they accused Brian Kemp of steering the election to his benefit imagine, what the Democrats if they think. That that's possible in that Brank. Did it imagine what they would do if they took the secretary of state's office. So you need to go vote. The other one is Chuck eating and that is the the public service commission race. He is a very good guy. I like Chucky tremendously he is a good level headed guy. He's got a great business since in the public service commission. He's being attacked for the public service commission continuing with the nuclear power plant the power companies wanted to do it. We know at this point. It's a bad deal. But we also know economically. It would be a worst eulogised shut. It all down at this point. It would actually cost even more money to try to shut it down and scale it all back. He's he's a good guy. You need to vote for Chuck for the public service commission, fundamentally you've got to go support this guy for public service. Brad burgers well for secretary of state but again hall county Henry Cobb Gwinnett. Those those areas are beneath where they should be even for a runoff in. Absent he balloting in early voting. I am sock says like I see in the movies, quoting Donald Trump said by the name by the man in charge of the nukes. I know. Okay. Ignorant, like, I don't wanna know about this stuff. It's so terrifying. Yeah. By the way, I do two more comments, very tennis. Right. Sit on Twitter. Well, of course, he's going to give the murderers. The death penalty can have them told me about this later on. That's a very good point wherever they are. Whether they actually were the murders or not and on YouTube super chat, the Blue Wave continues rates in an important runoff election. The race for Georgia's sector state on December fourth support democratic John barrow Democrat John barrow, so that we can defeat Trump and twenty twenty through free and fair election in this swing state. Thank you for writing that in that is very important. We appreciate that. Okay. Now, the democratic leadership and anger. Let's all right. With Democrats taking charge of the house of representatives. Some of the more progressive members of congress are pushing for a vote on Medicare for all legislation. Now, it's abundantly clear that this is legislation. That's unlikely to go anywhere. Especially considering the fact that Trump's the president and Republicans still control the Senate, but the whole point of this is to place pressure on establishment, Democrats and party leaders who have not done nearly enough in securing a single payer healthcare system for Americans. So supporters say they're going to push for a vote and organize grassroots efforts to pressure democratic holdouts to sign onto the legislation. Now, some of these democratic holdouts have released statements about this. And it gives you an idea of how incredibly pathetic and weak. They are we'll get to that in just a second. But Representative Premila giant, Paul who's awesome. Also, the co chair of the Medicare for all caucus in the house toll. Supporters on an organizing call that simply expressing support for the idea is not enough. In fact, she was quoted as saying when we have that majority. Let's talk about some of the more salvage -ment Democrats who are fighting back when right now they're fighting back subtly, but when push comes to shove they will play dirty tricks to try to prevent this from happening. "Atlanta campaign, if he ran a campaign at all no one seems to be sure. And now he's a runoff. In this runoff. He doesn't seem to be running a campaign. He seems to think he can get get again coast victory, and that is a deeply flawed strategy. When you've got John barrow has an existing base of support in a congressional district in barrow has been out knocking on doors in rural Georgia in middle Georgia, very aggressively. And that's going to help him in the run off. The Republicans seem to think they have it in their head that they will automatically when a run off. And that's not a guarantee nor was it a guarantee that Rapids burger could win outright. And he didn't he got into a runoff that? Is why Stacey Abrams is continuing to do what she's doing because every day that Stacey Abrams can drag this out, which is why I think after certification of mar will see lawsuits from the Abrahams team the longer they drag this out the more. They keep Democrats mobilized the more. They keep the focus on the election. The more. They keep the conversation about the election. The more they can convince people that the election was stolen and then. They can say there's a solution for that. Go vote for John barrow. This entire strategy. Now has nothing to do with Stacy aprons getting elected. It is mathematically impossible for Stacey Abrams to become governor. Now, there are no votes at best. There are thousand votes absentee ballots. Previously rejected that we'll be reviewed under federal order. They will be reviewed by tomorrow and a thousand votes does not get you eighteen thousand votes unless Abram somehow has the power of Christ to turn a thousand ballots in into pieces of bread to fill a baskets to feed eighteen thousand. It's just it's not gonna happen. She's not going to be governor. But the Democrats don't have the money to run an aggressive advertising campaign for the secretary of state's race. They spent all their money in the general election trying to get into this runoff thinking national money would pour in for the red. Rest of the race. As a result of that. They're trying to keep this in court as long as they keep it in court reporters are going to cover it national reporters going to cover that Democrats in the US house of representatives are saying they are going to hold a congressional investigation on the suppression of the vote in Georgia. What's going to happen is after the run off his over all of these conversations are going to go away. The lawsuits will go away. This is a sensually a free media campaign by the Democrats for John barrel as long as they convince people the racist stolen and they're filing lawsuits. The media's gonna cover it, and there's gonna be a line in there about the secretary states run off the Democrats are gonna keep blaming the secretary of state for stealing the race. They're gonna keep saying, hey, there's a runoff. You can stop this from happening again by helping John barrow and thus far the ravens burger campaign. Does it seem like it's going to respond at all? So the Democrats get a free pass on this. That's what it's. About I don't sound like a broken record. But it's got to be said repeatedly. There's just no mathematical way at this point Abrahams can become governor. Even the democratic appointed judges in the federal court have rejected her arguments to count provisional ballots now it's over with all the recent us about online security breaches,.

"What she wants the state to do is to notify voters that their votes did or did not count and why they did not count if they didn't. But she didn't put any burden on counties to not go on and certify their results in the overwhelming number of counties in the state have certified the results. I think we're down to less than a dozen counties that have not certified the results, and what those counties are doing is. They're going back through the provisional ballots to see if they can verify whether or not any of these people are actually registered to vote in those counties, and if so they will count the vote they're going to do a little more due diligence. The only other outstanding issue are the absentee ballots Gwinnett county in those ballots. Believe Gwinnett is now counting them they're going back through to see if they can verify the identity of the voters to count them. They're only about three thousand of them. So if you take the total outstanding provisionals of eight thousand and you take the total outside. Standing three thousand absentee ballots in Gwinnett county. That's twelve thousand votes, you give them one hundred percent Stacey Abrams. She still falls short of what she needs for run off. Or even a recount. So I'm not super worried about this. Again, I think what everybody is missing here, and maybe me harping on this too much distracting people from it Abrams is doing what she's doing not because she thinks she can win. She's doing what she's doing because the Democrats want to win the secretary of state's race. So they're telling people that the secretary of state has stolen the race from the Democrats and the way to defense. This is to go vote for John barrow in the runoff now. I got a few choice words for for the Republican that race looking at the clock. Let me let me save them for when we come back. But man, the Republicans they're going to have to get out in the secretary states race..

"Campaign was largely metro Atlanta exclusive and that didn't work for him. He's the only Republican in statewide runoff in Georgia because his campaign strategy. Didn't work didn't spend a long time outside the Atlanta area. And now he's having to scramble to do. So in John barrow has already laid the groundwork. So the Democrats are trying to keep their voters inflamed. Which is one reason by the way, the Republican rhetoric has been so heated in Georgia is they are also trying to get people in playing with the idea that the Democrats are trying to steal the election. This is all about the secretary of state's race. Now that is not getting reported nationally, but locally the media starting to realize what's going on here. There just aren't enough votes. Cast their about three thousand absentee ballots in Gwinnett County, Georgia that they are going to reconsider the reason they're going to reconsider him as under towards a law as long as a boater has signed their ballot and you can identify them. Then the vote. Has to be counted Gwinnett. County officials were rejecting absentee ballots that were missing birth dates and other information, but under the law that doesn't actually have to be provided at their other ways to identify the voter to they're going back through those three thousand votes to see if they can counting those absentee ballots if your charitable and you give one hundred percent of the three thousand votes to say see Abrahams. You've got to look at the remaining outstanding provisional ballots in Georgia. They're about eight thousand now there's a federal judge has ordered George to go back through and look at all the provisional ballots. See if any more can be counted that were rejected, but she's not actually ordering them to count them. She's just telling them to go back through and see in notify the voters whether or not their ballots were rejected or accepted, which under Georgia law. They've got to do just normally they do that after certification the judges ordering to them to do that before certification. So she's not actually ordering new votes into the voter pool. So if you take the outstanding eight thousand provisional ballots, and you take the three thousand absentee ballots, Gwinnett county and those. Together, you get twelve thousand votes. If you give one hundred percent of those Stacey Abrams, which is actually probably not the case. But let's be charitable give her one hundred percent of the outstanding provisional absentee ballots. She still doesn't meet the threshold for run over recount. So all of this theater has nothing to do with Stacy rooms at this point. It has everything to do with the secretary of state's race. And keeping Democrats mobilized that is what is happening in Georgia. Now before we get outta here. Just a quick housekeeping note, we're actually going to be expanding the resurgence podcast and my radio show. We're also expanding the resurgent and building up the platform, and.

"Overwhelming the system with provisional ballots and absentee ballots. Could then say, look, they're all sorts of problems in they've been working on shaping a media narrative influence judges and the public for the last year saying look at what the secretary of state is doing even though it was at true. So then they overwhelmed the system on election day. And look what happens they have a pile up of provisional ballots. Here's the thing though. Generally provisional ballots in Georgia rejected about a fifty six percent rate county to county. They are be rejected about forty nine percent rate. This year people who were not registered to vote and tried to cast a ballot people who were registered in a different county and tried to cast a ballot. So they're registered in county. X voted in county, y or people who showed up without a photo ID, and those people is Ambi pointed out there they're giving. Receipt. They've gotta show up by Friday after the election and show their photo ID to have their vote counted. Now, the campaign is filed a lawsuit asking the judge to allow the votes of people who voted who voted in the wrong county. This is the grievance that they're pushing to the national media now showing votes they claim were lawfully cast that are being rejected, but they're not lawfully cast under George align. Frankly, the law the other forty nine states by and large you cast a vote in accounting, which are not registered your vote is not counted in Democrats of the state of Georgia are very upset with the campaign because they think that her solution would require a more empowered secretary of state's office. But they're my friends is the key to what's going on. Now, I told you at the beginning of this episode, the Abrahams campaign is not really in this to win it. They need more votes than there are outstanding to get into a runoff little on a recount, and they're not going to do. And they know it despite all of their grievances. This is not about the Abrahams campaign anymore and people news nationally need to understand this the Democrats in Georgia win out and recruited one candidate to run for statewide office. And it was not Stacey Abrams. The candidate the democrat for is named John barrow former congressman from eastern Georgia the Augusta area he ran as an al-sham democrat campaign. He ran a TV ad religiously, and I'm a democrat, but I won't buy. I mean that that was his campaign ad and the Democrats are trying to get him elected to the secretary of state's office. The longer the Abrahams campaign builds up grievances that the secretary of state denied her an election, the more she can give her voters sense of grievance. The more they can be fired up to turn out on December fourth for the runoff in Georgia for secretary of state. They are very desperate, very desperate. To win that election. They want one statewide office in Georgia. They are facing a Republican bread Raffin burger whose.

"Talk certification is when a county tells the state that it has finished counting. And this is the final result the state than certifies the result saying every county has counted in certified there for the state now certifies that this is the final result. Most counties have certified the results. Very few counties are left out of the one hundred fifty nine counties in the state of Georgia twenty-five are outstanding Gwinnett county is one of those. Counties. Cobb County has now certified it's results. So you've got very few outstanding counties, and there are very few outstanding provisional ballots left the Abrahams campaign still contends that there are provisional ballots. Outstanding one of the things they're asking a judge to do is to allow the counting of provisional ballots that of a voter who is registered to vote, but cast the vote in a county different from the county. They're registered in there. Actually, a lot of Democrats today. See the behind the scenes over the Abrahams request, and they're hoping that the judge doesn't go her way. Okay. So here's why Democrats in Georgia are actually upset with the Abrahams requests to allow provisional ballots to be counted from people who voted in counties where they are not registered. The Democrats are convinced that Brian Kemp committed all sorts of Hanky panky in the election. Even though it's not true the counties run the election until the certification process after the election is over. So Brank hip really hasn't had anything to do with the election. If you require that counties, accept the votes of people registered to vote at other counties. Then counties are not allowed no longer to maintain their voter registration lists. They have to rely on the secretary of state's voter lists. Now, they technically do in practice. They rely on the list from the secretary of state, but everything is actually originated at the county level. And so each county only has to be responsible for its own data. If a county now has to start counting the votes of someone who actually lived in a different county. Well, then suddenly you're going to be wholly dependent on the secretary of state for your data that then does involve the secretary of state and local elections matters in. In ways. Democrats do not want the secretary of state to be involved. So it's a dangerous precedent that would actually consolidate power in the secretary of state's office, which the Democrats may actually one as they're doing all of this now to try to get John barrow elected. This really doesn't have anything to do with Stacey Abrams anymore. This is what people are failing to understand who is the only candidate the Democrats actively recruited to run for statewide office this year, John barrow, they recruited him to run for governor. They recruited him to run for secretary of state all of this is an effort in the secretary of state's run off all of this is an effort to get John barrow elected in the runoff because the Democrats believe once they control the secretary of state's office. They will be able to restore felon voting rights, which right now felons actively when they get out of jail when they're pardoned they have to go apply for, but a democrat secretary state may willingly put them all back on the roles then. That they think that he will stop removing voters from roles who haven't voted in seven years and on and on it goes all of this is about the secretary of state's office. None of this is actually about the governor's office. Stacey Abrams doesn't have the votes to win at this point..

"The Washington Post in the New York Times actually went back, and they candid the votes for Al Gore. George Bush the way George Bush one of them counted. And the way I'll gore one of them counted. And it turn. Earns out that had the votes been counted for Al Gore the way Al Gore, one of them counted that he would have lost by more substantial margin than the five hundred thirty six votes. He actually lost by in Florida. Yes. For those of you who history began yesterday, the two thousand election was decided by five hundred thirty seven actually five hundred thirty seven votes in Florida, George W Bush won the state of Florida by five hundred thirty seven votes, if the media, this is the real irony here, if the votes had been counted the way, George W Bush, one of them counted, Al Gore would've won Florida. If the votes were counted the way Al Gore, one of them counted, the the George W Bush would have had a wider margin. See the Florida Supreme Court then run by a bunch of Democrats ordered the votes counted. In order, the ballast counted in a particular way, and the supreme court affirmed the way that the Florida court wanted them done but order that the county concluded sooner than this Florida spring court wanted that's why people say the supreme court stole the election for George W Bush. It all goes back, however to Katherine Harris, Catherine here's the secretary of state Democrats claimed that she maneuvered behind the scenes during the certification and absentee ballot process to ensure that George W Bush would win after that a large number of democratic daughters lead. I I'm hesitant to say George Soros because I don't wanna make him a boogeyman ear, but George Soros did fund the initial groups. And they made it their mission to win the secretary of state's office in a number of states, and they did in places like Ohio and elsewhere. They won the secretary of state's office because secretaries of state could in a number St George is not one of them. But in a lot of states, they could order polls opened later they could structure ballots differently. They could arrange people on differently. They could restore felons rights devote things like that they could stop purging voting rolls getting rid of voters who don't voted any more on and on and on. And they were very successful at it. And the Democrats in Georgia want John barrow to be secretary of state for those things one of their big criticisms of Brank is what that he has thrown people off the voting rolls though. He's required to by state law, and Brian Gipps complied with state law, but they think if John barrow gets in that John barrow would ignore some of those laws on cleaning up the voter rule. Some of them give him some discretion that he would use it. So Stacey Abrams continuing to whip. This into a frenzy claimed the vote is being stolen from her that that the secretary of state's office is abusing the race. And all that blaming it old secretary state. It's a way for her to get her voters out for the run off not for her. But she's got to continue to make them believe she's victim. And because she's a victim. They're a victim in order to get people to turn out for that runoff. It's fifty six after the hour the full number here. "But this has everything to do with John barrow and Braff burger. Brad wrath is burger ran a terrible race for secretary of state for the all, frankly, he should probably fire as consultant and find someone new. I don't know who is consultant is probably a friend of mine. I apologize advance. But it was a pathetic race, the Republican running for secretary state concentrated on metro Atlanta ignored the fact that John barrow has a natural constituency in the east part of the state from longtime congressman, and guess what? They're in a runoff Ravitch's burger underperformed every other Republican statewide office on the ballot. And it was an easy thing. He could have done to actually make stronger, inroads and spend more time in middle and South Georgia. Brian Kim could do it. He should have done it nonetheless, they're in a run off and the Abrahams grievances right now or about keeping democratic voters fired up for the runoff as long as democratic voters believe Brian Kemp in the secretary of state's office are stealing the election as long as they believe that the Republicans are conspiring to deny them their votes as long as they believe these things that she hopes they will turn out in vote on December four th why because the Democrats are desperate to take one statewide office. Enjoy. And they would love to take the secretary of state's office where they could go overboard in making sure felons votes or restored. And and everything else they really want the secretary of state's job and the Abrahams campaign is making a strategic gamble that. If they continue to fire up voters with claims of fraud and theft and Republicans Hanky panky and on and on that they will be able to mobilize Democrats with a sense of grievance. It is the same reason that Brian Kemp is not acting like the governor elect, but he's acting like he's in a dogfight to avoid a runoff as because he's trying to mobilize Republicans and convinced them Stacey Abrams, try to steal things as long as Republicans are convinced that the Abrahams campaign is trying to steal the election. Then Republicans they hope will mobilize go vote for Rapids burger in the run off a both sides are invested in keeping grievance alive. So that their bases will be incentivized to vote in the runoff, the Democrats more. So. Than Republicans because Republicans have a runoff advantage in Georgia at this point, the Abrahams campaign knows they can't win this race. When the counties are coming out saying we don't have the votes there for her. She doesn't have the votes. She didn't care at this point as long as she can keep the Democrats mad and engaged and convinced their victim. Maybe they'll show up in the runoff with all the recent us about.

I've noticed so many people, especially when Barack Obama ran for president, so many people voted based on skin color and no policy, and it drives me if a wall, and it's really scary because people like rock the vote that was the thing back in the nineties, and Mike, I people stay home and not vote if they're not gonna vote on, you know, beliefs of the person own for just in color, or, you know, like, you don't how cool would have been if we, you know, living in the state we live in to have the first black female governor. That'd be so awesome. I mean, seriously legitimately awesome. Yeah. If she has the right values. Yes. And. Because this is such a pet. Peeve of mine that Stacey Abrams could get elected in Georgia's a black female if she ran like Nikki Haley. Right. But they're gonna Bernie Sanders. You get Democrats out there like him saying that we're all racist because we rejected her as opposed to we rejected or policies and terrible. And no, you know, the last thing that kind of tied into that is I hate this team kind of thing where you're the rhetoric blue, and you know, the poor libertarian party. Do the heck's going to vote for them because they don't have a chance. So if that person was appealing to me, I still could've for them. Because I'm I'm voting for the red guide to keep the blue guy out of office. Not because he's blue and I'll because he's ready, but because I agree so much with blue. Yeah. Yeah. You're absolutely right. Yeah. The poor libertarians in Georgia forced us into a runoff for secretary of state. And now we all got to turn out for Brad rafts burger to make sure John barrow to become secretary state because of the libertarians. Although honestly, maybe those libertarian to Whitten voted in the election. They would've stayed home. And we would. Even be having conversations about potential run off. I don't know. "News poll, it was conducted by the university of Georgia school of public, and international affairs. This is a very credible poll in that while I'm always a little bit skeptical of university polling. They put some time in diligence into this year talking a likely voter pool of one thousand ninety one voters now you you don't get the full shift in the polling. I I wouldn't suspect because it's October twenty first to October thirtieth is the polling, which is very very large gap for polling, but it is. Fairly common for media polling now, how does this breakdown? Well, according to the polling Stacey Abrams forty six point nine percent. Bryan campus, forty six point seven percent. So basically your dog and forty seven percent for each of them with a margin of error of three percent. This poll has shown consistently that the racist fairly well tied. I am told by people close to both campaigns that their internal polling largely reflects this that the polling is very well tied up in the state of Georgia. It comes down to a turnout game. Now, there is some good news for Brian Kamm, Abrahams below this. For example, Brian Kim leads men fifty four to forty but Abrahams leads with women fifty three to thirty eight white women, however are going with Brian Kemp sixty three percent Stacey Abrams. Thirty one percent. They would both like to be doing a little better there. But this actually gives him a little bit of. Away now voters over sixty five favor. Brian Kemp voters under twenty nine back Abrahams by twenty two points. That's to be expected. Stacey Abrams also is ahead with independent voters. They're only about ten percent of the electorate, but she's beating Brian fifty three to twenty five very very intense. Polarization, nearly seventy percent of voters say the midterm election is much more important or more important than pass votes. That includes sixty eight percent of Republicans, but three quarters of Democrats viewed that way as well. Democrats highly mobilized in this race again, the JC rate has at a tide raise forty forty-seven percent for each we want to get into detailed tenths of a point forty six point nine for Abrahams. Forty six point seven for camp. Here's the thing that I think you've got to remember here. If you're freaking out, what was the final real clear politics. Polling average for Nathan deal versus Jason Carter the final polling had. Deal. Forty eight points four to Carter forty three point eight with Nathan deal. Having a four point six percentage point lead a right now, the ruler politics pulling average for this race has Brian Kemp. With only about a percentage point lead the final outcome of the race was Nathan deal. Fifty two point eight two Jason quarter, forty four point eight Nathan deal with an eight point lead. What actually happens here is is voter mobilization and turn out. But remember there is a latent advantage for Republicans in Georgia because Georgia's still Republican state there are several hundred thousand more Republicans in the state if they turn out and they vote for Bryan Kip, Brian Kemp will be able to be governor without a run off a lot of people in the media are starting to suggest there may be a run off a none of the people. I've been talking to in the campaign or towards the campaign are really saying run off right now, they don't think the libertarian ultimately is going to be that that big a deal in that race. Now, the libertarian. May play a role in the secretary of state's race that race with John barrow. Inbred Ravitz burger is tied that raise is let's see I got the data here. Jeff Duncan is leading a rigs amigo, and John barrow is forty two percent to Brad Berg, forty one percent. Keep in mind. John barrow was a congressman. He's got a base of support over in the eastern part of the state the libertarian in that race. There was getting five point four percent. While eleven percent remain uncommitted. I think the big tip off here is the Jeff Dunkin versus Sarah rigs, amigo that is a low profile profile race in you should see that the Republicans have in an eight several percentage point advantage. And I think that helps the Republicans we are still a Republican state, but it's going to be very close. And it's going to come down to turn all. So we've got a turn out issue here, folks. Republicans have a built in advantage in Georgia because of turnout but democratic turnout is. Just huge right now. And it is huge in the metro area..
