Brother: Authorities told family that body of missing Missouri ER doctor was found in Arkansas
"A Missouri ER Doctor Who's been missing for more than a week has been found dead in northwest Arkansas. Doctor John fourth size was last heard from in text messages on May 21st with his fiance, according to his brother, Richard Forsyth also says, on Tuesday, authorities told him the doctor was found dead. Police in Cassill, which is in the Missouri Ozarks, say the sheriff's office embedded county Arkansas is investigating, and an autopsy and official identification were pending. "My grandfather wasn't an Omaha He was at Utah beach but he fought in the Battle of the Bulge He named my father John after a battle buddy of his who was killed in combat And when I graduated the Secret Service academy we didn't have a lot of money so we all stuffed into one room and double tree in Alexandria Virginia my grandparents came down you know we had like cots and everything We just didn't have a lot of dough So we couldn't afford another room So my grandfather stayed in the room with us and I stayed on the couch and in the middle of it of course he gave them the bed and in the middle of the night my grandfather got up and yelled really loud It was really odd I don't know two 3 o'clock in the morning And nobody responded but me I just was kind of like are you okay Everybody else just slept through it and got up and went right back to sleep and was interesting The next morning I think I said to my dad I said what was that about Or maybe it was my grandmother I said what happened with grandpa I said why do you do Oh yeah he has bad memories from the war when he came back from World War II You know sometimes he'll get up at night and he'll scream and it's because he's having some kind of nightmare and he just goes back to sleep Those are the sheep dogs Those are the men and women who have decided to raise a right hand and pledge allegiance to the United States serving combat and leave a piece of themselves behind for you My grandfather did that Never talked about it by the way ever I remember when Sabin private Ryan came out I asked him about his experiences in combat and more and he never said anything He didn't want to talk about it The silence there was deafening at times Showed you what they'd been through

Judge halts South Carolina’s new stricter abortion law until state Supreme Court review
"South Carolina's newly signed abortion law has been temporarily halted by a judge. Judge Clifton Newman's ruling sends the new law that bans most abortions in South Carolina around 6 weeks of pregnancy to be reviewed. Planned Parenthood sued almost immediately after the bill was signed, a judge Newman said it would end up before the state Supreme Court anyway. The law is similar to one in 2021 that was struck down after the justices ruled three to two that it violated the state constitution's right to privacy lawmakers say the new law includes technical tweaks meant to appeal to justice John few, who wrote in his previous opinion that legislators didn't show that they did any work to determine if 6 weeks was enough time for a woman to know she was pregnant. The halt means the state reverts to a restriction at around 20 weeks for now. "We haven't done a Basics episode in a while. I've had a couple of people ask me some questions that made me realize something that I was a little... that we haven't come back to with the Basics is just kind of the really simple, really practical, what the hell do I do with my keys? So we went into an entire episode on what our keys are and hardware, wallets, and all of that good stuff. And I will tell you straight off the bat, you need a hardware wallet if you have any meaningful savings. If you're just tinkering, that's fine. Don't give yourself a homework assignment and, you know, have to invest all this money and stuff into it if you're just playing around. But it's very easy to get sucked in and it's very easy for playing around to become a meaningful amount of money in Bitcoin. In fact, a good example actually was I was playing around with the Bitkit wallet, which is one that I'm a big fan of and I'm really looking forward to its future. And Synonym and John Carvalho and their team over there have built a really amazing and really intuitive product. But I was just testing a bunch of stuff out. So when I moved some Bitcoin to it, it was always intended to just be kind of a throwaway wallet. And I actually at some point took a screenshot of my backup seed and put it in the Discord chat with everyone in Synonym because we were we were trying to work something out. I can't remember what it was, some weird little quirk with the interface or whether it was showing addresses or something like that. I don't remember. It wasn't that big of a deal. But because I was thinking of the wallet so cheaply as just like throwaway, I did that. But what's funny is I, you know, was testing all out. So I added a bunch of contacts and, you know, I started making messages with people and, you know, all these things. And I started trying out a bunch of different widgets. And it got to the point where I'd kind of forgotten that I had done that. And then I just moved a little bit of Bitcoin to move a little bit more Bitcoin to it and eventually ended up with like eight hundred dollars worth of Bitcoin on it. And my seed is sitting in a screenshot in a Discord room that I don't know if 30 people or I have no idea how many people are in that Discord chat could see and just and so many multiple people may have just out of trying to help me put it in their wallets. So I was just totally exposed. I was just like putting cash in other people's pockets. Nobody stole it from me or anything. And I just woke up one morning and it hit me and I was like, oh my God, I'm an idiot. And I withdrew it back to my nunchuck. But just a easy little story to explain that you need to be careful with your keys and you need to have basic practice on how you're going to back things up. What got the most headlines about that speech and Warsaw was the 9 words at the end? When he said for God's sakes, we can't let this man stay in power. And people were so offended and shocked. And I got to be fair. It was wrong of Biden to say it. It was counterproductive. It was dangerous. I will always criticize what it's warranted. But it doesn't mean that Donald Trump was a good president. It doesn't mean that Putin is doing the right thing. Just like as we see this footage that some Ukraine soldiers may be torturing, Russian POWs, I'll condemn it, doesn't mean I think Putin was right to invade. You know, we have to be able to call out our own side. And last week when Lindsey Graham was stupidly calling for the assassination of Donald Trump, I was saying on SiriusXM, great. That's going to be used as propaganda by the Russian government now. And if this thing ends and Putin's still in power, we're going to have a government officials who call for his assassination. And it's going to be really, really bad, and it helps Putin in the long run back at home. So I got to direct the same critique at Joe Biden, but I do hope Chris, a Chris. I do hope John that it will wind up if they wind up using this as propaganda that Russian people will Google the entire speech. Because you're right, it was a very powerful speech. But Joe Biden got so much heat, he's been walking it back, and he's been saying that was me speaking personally..

"I thought I was doomed. Thankfully, the doctors in the ER, one of them happened to be a fan and she took a picture of me. You know, for her husband, it was a big fan. But they were so nice to prescribe me 6 kilometers. And they gave me one while I was there. And I said, how long is it going to take? Before, you know, these go where they said, listen, John. And I said, you know, to Niki, I'm sorry about Joanne. I said, I think I might have it, because I didn't know. But then I texted her, I think it's because I stopped my constant, she goes, yeah, John, that's a benzo. You can't stop that cold Turkey. I had no idea. But anyway, so the hospital so they give me one. I go and how long is gonna take? She goes, John all your symptoms will be gone, they'll all go away in about an hour. Guess what, less than an hour? No more symptoms. None. So I do the shows on Saturday. Kill it. Feel great. Everything's back to normal, but hemorrhoids are fucking killing me. Killing me. Not to gross you out, but I got another fucking John growing out of my ass right now. And I had three of them, two of them have gone away. Why? 'cause I called Dave dementia, the host. I said, Dave, could you pick me up some freaking preparation each topical cream and some freaking stick up your ass? Because I'm fucking this is killing me. I feel like I'm gonna pass out. And he's like, yeah, yeah, she'll. He's the nicest guy in the world. So he gets me topical went into it. So I start just taking those like crazy. The suppository and, you know, so finally, yesterday, killing me. I went to the I went to the drugstore, the right aid to see if they had those little donuts that you could sit on. Did this suppository thankfully I had some oxycodone at my house for the last time I was in the emergency room. I had like two or three tablets. So I just paste them out. And the pain subsided was able to take my son out to dinner last night, which was put.

The Friday shows on Saturday shows with really crowded and the manager said they had at least a 25% increase in their normal to consoles because I was there, which makes me happy. It's a lot of stern extern fans and Jay Leno's fans there. A lot of stuttering John fans actually. There's nothing better than the next morning as you're walking to go get breakfast. In my case, go to the hospital that as you're walking some guy past you by John solder so last night, you were great awesome show. I mean, there's nothing better than that. At least if you're a comic to know that you were appreciated and you did a damn good professional job. Anyway, so after that Friday night show, I could barely make it off the stage and it's funny because they've mank Ali the host who's the nicest person on the planet. I thought maybe he could help me off the stage, but he has some he has a cane 'cause he's a diabetic so much. I can't even get out any help from the host. So I mustered my way, took the three or four steps to get off the stage and then grab the seat with my hand and sat down on the seat closest to the stage. Keep in mind, folks, that Friday night, that second show I was flop sweating. Sweat was pouring out of my pores at an alarming rate. So when I sat next to Dave and I went like this with my hair and he goes, oh my God, you're drenched. I go, yeah, I know. I go, I thought I was going to die up there. And then I'm going to really kill. Myself. I said, I don't know what's going on. I go, I don't know if I can make it up to my room. I don't know if I can walk. I said, Dave, I don't know what it is.
