Rock Cat Hall of Famer Bill Will Give Fellow Hall of Famer John Velazquez a leg up and this phillies done very little wrong on her career. She's three for seven. With four second-place finishes ran second in a couple of graded stakes, including the grade one spin away up at Saratoga last year last seen winning a third level allowance optional claimer. She uses stakes. Winner took the any limit kick off three year old season three starts back. and. Probably the only reason that this race isn't later in the card is that it's a five Horsfield and Franks? Rakhat is three to five on the morning line, and she may be the the loan speed in race, so she's going to be tough to beat at three to five, but that's a pretty short price, considering there some pretty good up and coming phillies near now I think number four center. I'll I'm going to give her another shot for. For Chad Brown and Joel Rosario Sheila Great Getting Her Maiden Win Gulfstream Park, when bet down to three to five at the end of March then came back in a tough allowance race at Churchill downs where she was really over bet, she was three to five that day against another very impressive maiden winner of this one for Steve Asmussen in casual casual ran a great race that day center I'll had all sorts of problems. She didn't break that well. She had trouble during the race, and she was just really never in at any point. I think it's a racy can kind of draw a line through? If she runs closer to the way she did and her debut. I think she's the one that could give Franks rock cat. The biggest problem Franks rocket will probably get the lead I would think Rosario would have center I'll sitting justin behind her and seeing if they can outgun into the line going six and a half furlongs. With you I'm going to take a shot with center. Rile planner. If? When I plan! Early took five tomorrow I will use both Franks rocket and center, but I'll tell you what I think. You can make a case also for up in smoke was undefeated and sprints. She's four five and a career. Lone blemish came when George Weaver tries to stretch her out Hollywood wildcat. Go at Gulfstream Park. She's raced exclusively of Gulfstream, in fact, steady diet once. Once a month February march April may June now. She gets a race in July. Here over Big Sandy, she wanted the game face overboard last time out for weaver Rod Ortiz Junior. Who wrote her in her debut against fellow Florida breads down at Gulfstream Park's in the climb back aboard for the first time. Since that day looks, you'll need a little help up front if Franks, rockets able to set an easy pace I. She's going to be very very tough. I think Senator I'll be the first one to come calling. Those are the two up in smoke. If you're looking to three deep, I don't think you need to center for Bobby and I race number three goes as the great three six and a half for a long victory ride go to the end of the card. Eleven race card like I said earlier, and the final four races make up an all stakes pick four, and it starts in reasoning with the greed three poker. Flat Mile on the turf for many years. This was the fourth of July staple. On the naira calendar here it is now as part of a super five stakes card. In, the poker though. On the widener, so they come out of that shoot. On the clubhouse turn we get a field of eight entered for the turf as a main track. Only it's all relevant with the way. The weather's been here. I would imagine you know there's supposed to be some rain. We're recording the show Friday afternoon supposed to be some rains rather day on Friday and into the evening. I can't imagine it enough to take this off the turf, so let's say it will be a field of eight.

Jose Ortiz Interview - October
"Welcoming Jose Ortiz who is a native of Puerto Rico and his one more than nineteen hundred races in what has been just a a stellar career and that career still going strong and he's with me now here on H. R. N. Jose Good Morning My friend Mike give having yeah. Thanks for taking a little time. I know you're a busy working horses. This morning. Never ends does it does not if you want to be the best which right now you certainly are my friend Brendan. You know it's interesting. I mentioned being a native of Puerto Rico one of the jockeys who mentored you when you came here and one of the people that you looked up to is his hall of Famer Johnny Velazquez who last week set the record for most greatest stakes victories by jockey in the history of the sport and that has to make you very proud. I know that yeah yeah we are happy about it and it keeps going throwing you know hopefully he can give winning some more on winning out much again until you know until heater dyers what makes him so good then you got a lot of these. Atlanta for the sport and I think that having taken to the next level where he's been for awhile you know yeah he certainly he's been doing it for a long time and still doing it at a very high level. How many great stakes victories are you behind him now. I don't know I have made the way to go yeah one day well that win yesterday and the Phoenix was impressive. This is a horse. You've you've been on before you knew him. You get back aboard him yesterday and he's able to hold off Whitmore who was putting in that late run. Take me through the race Jose. Well we broke. We broke very good. expect expecting a much faster pace but they did in in came out of five dollars. I thought they would and I was able to be closer than I than I thought. I was going in two weeks so I think that well We have a very pain trip when I ask him to. Well what they're for me the whole time. You know he's a horse worse by intimacy if that when you were riding him last year and even this year at Saratoga he was trained by Chad Brown now he's trained by Steve Asmussen. Ah when you were riding him before he was always knocking on the door but he couldn't quite get past horses like promises fulfilled you yesterday you beat him and everybody everybody else. Is there a difference. Did you feel something different now with engage than you did last year. He always been a ah very nice or worse. I think some more mature before others on. I think he'd take a while but I think he finally figured out you know. Did you know that Moore was gaining on your yesterday. I didn't knew what Whitmore Kabaya fell somebody coming out. You can tell yeah I could yeah. Did you know you had enough left in the tank. He very game he always has been and I knew what GonNa try but you know something this all horrors you know he's just turned four so there's all live orders season and they are very good. You know they they come in. They coming at you like wait Marino. He's very nice or you know that win. In the Phoenix was part of a Multi Win Day on opening day of Keeneland then you you've had several days in your career where you've won multiple races like that. I asked you what makes John Velazquez so good. What makes Jose Ortiz so good. I don't let somebody out of that. Answer that question. I guess right to be myself on gave that horses the best chance to win but you also worked very hard I mentioned you're out working in horses this morning. I know you're being humble and and that's what's part of makes you part of. What makes you so good but Jose you work your tail off and put me the in in the saddle with you for minute if you will if I can use that term take me through like your routine in your approach to riding races. How do you get ready to go out there. Every day and ride was everything star on the when the overnight comes up so I have to see we shorts on on quantum there I go the R F and and they got the raises and I put him whatever I think they should be and you know I have to talk to a trainers on and follow their their instructions but at the same time I want to I want her to be relax and that's that's what I try to be happy and I think they control and relaxed. We'll give you a running the end of it yeah you know. Johnny will always tell tell me about his different plans that he has going into the starting gate the plan a plan b the Plan C. and you hope you don't have to get any further than that but once the gates open you can listen to the trainers instructions all day long but once the gates open things can change quickly right very quickly. What do you you do at that point. Do you say Oh my God. I gotTa follow his instructions or do you say I just gotTa. Let my instincts takeover in and try to ride this race the way it needs to be ridden now so you've got to let your instincts they over because it's very tough to execute a plan when their plan doesn't work from from the gate you know. Yep You gotta change everything so I think you just gotTa Julia uh-huh. Yeah everything you could do everything changes in and you just have to adjust and that's why I've always said you know jockeys in terms of there's always that debate are jockeys true athletes athletes and I think you know I've said for years but pound for pound jockeys the most gifted athletes that we find in all sports and I have no doubt about it and you're certainly right there Jose. Let's talk about the horses that you're going to be aboard today. You're in all of the great stakes races at keeneland which is to be expected matter of fact. Thank you might be riding every single race at keeneland today. nice to be in demand extravagant. Kid is a horse. You're going to be aboard in the WOODFORD stakes. That's is the first greatest stakes today. What can you tell me about. Extravagant kid very nice hard. I had the opportunity to ride him. One time before and we won he's doing very good very fox. Horse doesn't need to be on the late which is very helpful full on way like junkets. Today we think is very life so right to win all right and then in the next race in the TC a talked to me and I think I'm saying that name correctly but talk to me the horse. You're going to be aboard there. You've been aboard her. The the last two starts second last time out in the Press Kyle downes master stakes on September sixteenth. Tell me a little bit about her. It's very nice to write very easy last time. She has run very very very good. we are expecting seeming to or better than last two times. I think she got shut all right and then the first lady turn our attention there you go to the first lady stakes miss bad behavior for Richard. Balta says the Horse Year aboard. What do you know about her. I won on her Kentucky Down She got some sleep but he's he's also stayed on the race so let's see how they're they're in writing about her because she he doesn't need elite. Also g come come on. We gotta go pole so let a break and make sure shade in a winning position I during your yeah how much different is writing this keeneland turf of course then of course like Kentucky Downs Kentucky down says the undulating up and down configuration. How much different is it run getting more like we do every day. You know saying Kinda you you know over same thing by Kentucky different. Go Up and down left right so I think in Kentucky and it's all about the horse like it you WanNa be okay. It doesn't like nothing you can do about like well. Let's hope that this bad behavior likes the keeneland turf course later today in the classroom breeders futurity Max Field for Brendon. Walsh is the second time that Brendan will give you a leg up in a greatest stakes today. Tell me about Max field. You went on him last time out to very nice coat a win first time out very nicely actually that day a he was a speed favor drug. Nobody was coming from behind and he did which is very impressive to me so I think we have something here. We got very nice coats so hopefully put it together and stay undefeated talk to for to all right and the last one admission office This is a horse who you road last year but haven't been on them for the last four starts you get back aboard admission office and that is in the the shad while Turf Mile. Tell me about him. What you remember about writing him before is on very cool hope to ride very easy going on to be honest? I love him. I think we had a huge show the winds along really how come because I think he's is a nice source if their truck come from behind and here something other threats you about to rush these sorts. BEC- they're stretchy short here. I wouldn't have to we go. We got our loan stretching so I think it was the drug I mean he. He did alright at one eight zero. He don't good with Y'all yup so he's got big right now. You can tell what what makes Jose Jose Ortiz so good. He knows every race that these horses have run before he gets aboard and he did indeed win. Three starts back at Keeneland in the spring which Joel Rosario Dario Award winning an allowance race getting up by neck and admission office the Horses Jose will be aboard in today's Shell Turf Mile Jose. I know it's a busy morning. I know you've got horses assist works. I won't keep you thank you so much for spending a little time. Congrats on all your success. My friend and I'll look forward to catching up with us. We make our way to Santa Anita in about a month. Mike thank you.

"For jockey to capitalize on opportunities to second pop up racist, like the Belmont, there was a day when Joel always didn't do that. Sometimes he almost second guessed himself. He has gained so much confidence in the last five to six years as a jockey today. No matter if the plan went wrong, he instantaneously made a decision and said, we're going to plan B, and then the plan, see when they turned for home, Joel, and winning trainer, Mark. Cassie are in the winter circle. Now they're going to await the trophy presentation. That's something that Mark will gladly accept and for more and some other thoughts, let's go trackside and check in with Jeff. Yeah, you can imagine. It's pretty happy mood here in the winter circle area. And what a performance jockey, Jila resort put on in the Belmont Stakes today, one of the striking strongest writers in the game so much so that he even himself lifted off the blanket of carnations which has to weigh about fifty pounds lifted up with one hand Senate to the handler, and before he jumped off the horse. He reached down put his arms around both sides of the neck of his winning Belmont Stakes. Right, Sir Winston gave him a big hug, a big kiss jumped off the horse and accepted a lot of congratulatory messages from all those standing in the winter circle over to you, Tom Jeff. It takes a lot of patients in this game in a lot of ways. I the trainer Mark Cassie I talked to him before, sir. Winston ran off the board race in the blue grass stakes at Keelan and he told me prior to that race, that this was a horse that should be a great fit for the Belmont Stakes. So when the bluegrass didn't go well for Sir Winston Cassie ship the horse up. To New York gave him a race over the track in the Peter Pan stakes. He came from dead last well out of it was flying down the stretch and finished second. And what was his lifetime best race? And he is trained. Well off of that. And it led to this performance today now for the jockey, and the horse Joel Rosario, Sir Winston, first of all, in the last two days here if you were on the lead, you had a great chance to win and the next best way to win was to just be on the inside and so-, Joel Rosario, kept, Sir Winston down along the rail the entire way and the path opened up and a lot of ways the way it used to for Calvin Burrell in some of those legendary Kentucky Derby rides, so Sir Winston came up the inside the shortest way home. But the horse also had the have the ability, which big horses that are closers, don't always have to stop and then restart so he had the momentum going along the inside of the turn to get into contention..

"The Belmont Stakes that is served Winston. Oh force who is bred to love distance of ground, his sire as awesome? Again, his maternal grandson is Belmont winner a fleet. Alex, that's all well and good, but horsemen will tell you the horse has to prove he's got the heart and the stamina the big thing here. This horse had Joel sorry of the jockey had to slam on the brakes midway on the far turn. He was coming up the rail, then he ran out a racetrack and so often would you shut down a horse. It's tough to get them started back up and find that momentum again, somehow Saria was able to getting off the rail. He had abruptly changed lanes in the stretch. Moving from. Left to right. And still got him fired up in time to come rolling home for the victory, Mark. Cassie turns to his wife, Tina gives her a big hug. These are proud moments for the Cassie family, and Sir Winston going to win the Belmont Stakes this afternoon. Kirk just his third win in ten lifetime starts. He hasn't been a wind machine. This is a horse who when he debuted last summer at Saratoga. He actually Beattie's debut in June Churchill Downs he was beaten thirteen links. He went to Saratoga last summer. He was beaten eleven links. Then when he finally won it was on a synthetic surface in Canada, not on a dirt surface. There have been all kinds of criticisms of this horse, but he puts all together. Here today did not have the best trip, but Joel Rosario gathers him up the stretch and getting home, and he will run down Tacitus, who is set off as the nine to five favorite for Bill, Matt. So he'll come up show of being able to win the derby, and the Belmont Stakes this afternoon. How about Joe via who finishes third in here? The pacesetter long shot at twenty one to one very very game through the stretch. He. Has a horse that a lot of folks looked at him. And set theory was a lot of observers. Looked trainer Gregory Sacco. And they said, all right. He had mind control here today to run a race on the undercard in the Woody Stevens and mind control was one of the morning line favorites. And the thought process was he just kind of threw this horse on the trailer and said, all right, we're going there anyway. Let's see what happens the Belmont, he proved that he had more in mind here. He had faith in that what he had and the horse comes home with a solid ever win but hits the board. Yeah. Hits the board behind your unofficial winner, Sir Winston and Joel resort who is making his way back toward the winter circle. Now,.

Yeah. And I would and and and John thanks for the call before. Thank you for the call at Laffit Pincay junior would be the he he'd frowned out the elite eight. And that's just my opinion. You know, I'll get a lot of crap for putting Arado tease junior Joel Rosario on that list. Because of you know, there's a lot of people out there that think maybe rods two soon that Joel two inconsistent. But if you gave me if you told me, his, you know, you got. Ten horses that you got to put a different jock on those eight guys are. Those eight guys are getting all my horses. Johnny v nine. You know, I'll find out file figure somebody out the right now that my top ten but those guys I mean on the top of their game. Top of can't game. You might be right. There might not be five guys that were better than might not be five guys. No doubt about it on top of their game in their prime bringing the best ride. I'll take Chris over all those guys. That's me. That's me. 'cause I saw Christianity do things at ores is that. I I you don't see people do with horses from four thousand dollar maidens that he rolled road from my old man at midnight at the mental. And in the middle of winter too. "It's I mean, it's a it's a very very long intense tests. So it was it was quite daunting. But and then you know, we had colonial down in the summer then. And that was the main goal was for my dad to send me down there. And I think we ended up taking probably about seven or eight we claimed if you or got a few from some other owners that wanted to be down there. I think we ended up having a string of like fifteen to eighteen and I think we want a few races down there. So one my first race down there at that meat and. I remember that the most upsetting thing about it was we had I might have to go back and look at the record. But it was a ridiculous amount of seconds down there. And you know, you're running it colonial towns and fourteen or field. And there's a lot of traffic, you know. So they were they were getting a little traffic trouble and just getting beat. And then of course, we come up here and everything goes back and my dad name in the fall. And he I think he probably had a fall like we're having right now where they. When they got back up here. And you know, it really really put me back. Right. Well, my time will come. But you know, at least we leave we had prepared. So Charlie letting him always used to say the second stern into wins in your case. It absolutely happened. Exactly. Exactly. I mean, there's this fall even we have the two Monia meat, and we we won. I don't know maybe one or two over there, and but really big game efforts and a lot of really nice second two thirds. And you know, we're a little a little upset that they that those second wins. And I said, hey, this is a tough track to look, they're all, you know, they're all writer to rock and roll after we got back under one roof after toga. And I said we're going to have a really good fall because of where these set up to run next, and they were and they they sure have. Well, continue the hot hand down in the mid Atlantic. Will we'll see you when you up to the big one of these days in the winter. Yes, yes, we'll be up there. But thanks for some time this warning lazy. All right. Great talking to you have a good one. "One on Friday was the Breeders Cup juvenile carded his race number nine. Let's take a look at the field of mile and a sixteenth in the main track. Thirteen of them signed on all is wrong game winner for Bob Baffert, Joel resort area with the mount on beaten, really untested any of his starts very very impressive throughout his career. And the question was how would he handle shipping outta town? How would he handle a few different things? You didn't have the easiest post position. Ultimately on a really matter because he's just that much better than ever. Anyone else? Here's a stretch of the juvenile has lost the lead and next goal is in front as they turned for home. Knicks go on top China. Pull off another upset here into the final Ferlov game winner running at ham on the outside but told them in the final furlong their game litter outside text lead on the site. "I love. I love also being wrong about I kept talking about how l. I think he should go to the lead the no the perfect trip. He came back. He had so much dirt on him. I thought he was great for a second. This is a tough horse. This is a racehorse narrative came out about a previous race to that. Apparently he had caught a Claude in the eye somewhere in there, and that was came back one, I'd basically, and that was a big part of the reason for the no fire there makes it a little bit easier to excuse. I think based on the way the horse came back and ran in the Woodward that this is a case where the narrative is correct. What did you make this this performance? I was whooping hollering. I mean, almost as happy as I was when Catholic boy won the Travers. It's always it's always fun when a horse that you have a a special place in your heart for does well in Yoshida's. One of those we we, we were very excited about him in his performance when he broke his maiden at ki-mun by going to terms on the front end. And we we. I mean, I feel like I picked him in almost every race that that we've talked about on the show since then just because I think he's a really talented, talented horse. I was excited that they finally got him on the dirt to give it a try and in congratulations to Windstar and China worse club in the group and Bill Maher, Joel Rosario. The ride was great in the it was all great and happy. However, I, I don't think I'm I want get the horse moving forward. I, I don't think that this was the greatest running of the Woodward. I do think that he is a useful type that will win more races on on at love, to see him come back for his five year old year. Is that right? Yeah, five year old year next year and be able to do some really cool and fund dynamic things with him, running them in all kinds of different spots. I'm still gonna stick by my gun that I believe that this horse could be more dangerous and more potent on the front end. He's tactical enough. He's shown that and he's got a great turn of foot and stamina. I think he's a really fun horse and I'd love to own them. But at the same time, I don't envision my. Self betting this horse moving Ford and another great one race with a little bit more of a quality field that he'd have to deal with. It was a one, oh, two Beyer speed figure of the impressive number to be sure. But nothing that's gonna make you run for the window to them in a race, like the Breeders Cup, Classic. I have to agree with that. I think it's worth pausing for a second about one of the amazing things that this does for this horse and is owners is how it opens up his potential value going forward. Given his paddock ry by heart's cry out of hill, this passion, the the grade one winner on the dirt. Now grade one winner on both surfaces, some sexy international possess beaten less than two in a race like the the, the Queen, and you gotta figure his value. Just thinking about him in terms of his, his potential, the future career, the his value just went through the roof, did not. Absolutely imagine the the freshman sire. I mean, like I said, I would imagine he'll stick. I want hope you'll stick around. I haven't read anything that he will or will not after this year and we still haven't heard any confirmations about justify situation either way. Would be a lot of fun is to see the freshman roster that Windstar potentially have with with the versatility of of the scat, daddy justify situation in tag team, not with the versatility of the Yoshida and the, you know, the turf in the dirt situation there that could be a really fun little back and forth they could do with those two orces..

"Describe how you're thinking of that. This is gonna be weird, but some people know what I'm talking about chasing, yes, it would be a double a. and and the reflect would be a single ache on. I wanna treat them both as as a, yeah, just kind of press presser up a little bit more. When chasing that you press the old eight loss. We've talked about that on the show and we'll get to more of that type of stuff. When we get to those bedding shows it'll be happening at some point. All right now, the Woodward our old buddy Yoshida trying out the dirt. I know Sean two-goal himself director of bloodstock from Windstar will be in the house to watch this one. How do you assess Yoshida's chances of making this surplus adjustment, and what's your thought on this year's Woodward. I think it's interesting. They've always hinted at doing this. They hinted doing it last year. The Jim dandy, they did good Samaritan as well before they hinted and running sheet in the Whitney. They hinted at this a lot like as if they've they've, it's been on their mind. The worst worked on the. You know, in last you know, you see five, six, seven, eight, nine, ten dirt works of Bill Maher hall of Famer. I think he knows if a horse will act on the dirt or not giving the worship shot was telling another day. I just wish they would ride the horse. They rode the horse in the maiden special way too key men on April nine that caused us to even realize that he was an animal. You know, I get that he's had other good races where he's done something different, but man, he was good on the front end and he ran huge that day. And I wish that we could maybe see performance like that where he's going to be forward from the rail and maybe we will. It's not Joel Rosario, typical style, but I think he can run well, I think, is spread race though. It's interesting, it's aboard, teen horse field. You don't see too often fourteen field where time form says it favors horses. We're going to be honored early lead and then you'd grow in the back with their top three Raitis seeds on time for US face for jacker or the twelve thirteen fourteen. I wonder if they don't have half of mine to just go ahead and send here despite it, not being the typical resort ride. I, it's an interesting notion, Jake, I certainly agree with the concept of spread race. I'd love to get your pick off, throw one out there who I'm not gonna. Let beat me on. That's number seven, curl off of the. It's easy to see that last race and question his character when he had the clearly in the stretch and seemingly through the race away. But I will say this the way the track was playing that day. It's not like it was. It was. It was not what I would call it face, but it was a day when a lot of closing happened. I thought he was when I might give a shot to the morning line of ten to one is anywhere near right, don't need six to one or below, but a horse that I would look to be doing stocked with a longer end of the spectrum come letters. We have to talk about here me your pink. I yes. Two, two things real fast. As one of the things we hear about a horse trying to hurt for the first time. One of the things that are the reasons that they didn't like it was they took dirt. Yoshida can eliminate that as a possibility. If he goes on with it in his Ford place, like you mentioned, look, we talk about the jockey, you know, musical chairs. This is a very interesting one right to me. It's nobody knows nothing situation. So Jose won the Belmont on tablet that he's off Janis on Johnny stays, then you go to curl. Aw, where we're, I read was on on. He's off Jose's here instead of on tapper. Then you've got to St. lover manny's there and stays there. Manny's off of Yoshida. That was the first time he had written him or second time read them. So that's not that big of a deal. And then Iran shows up on sunny ridge and sticks with that mount. It's very confusing. I guess if I had to pick one horse, I would pick sunny ridge. I read does have some. Spe- does how the Jason service effect..

"Different fares in his twelve race career. He's over fifty to one on the board he's the speed of the race best chances here is. Trying to take them flag fall to that's all yeah. "We hadn't seen her since February is first start against graded stakes company, and she came home very nicely. Eleven sixty nine for that final eighth of a mile. Sharon's in eighty nine buyer to me, this is the kind of horse that second time off the bench could be the time to strike with her because you figure she's going to move forward with a little bit of tightening a little bit of fitness. The fact that she ran his well as she did hear, speaks volumes to ability think California gold rush is very, very interesting if they choose to keep her in the three zero group or they wanna go a mile and a quarter with her in a race, like the rodeo drive against older fillies mares. MS bad behavior. The fifth play, fourth place finisher cheese me. We talked about it in the preview leading into this race. For me, it's not an issue of talent with her. It's an issue of distance. I think she's just a crack miler. I think she's very, very strong. I would imagine she's not Breeders Cup caliber right now from speed figure standpoint. I would imagine you're probably thinking race like the matriarch at the end of the year back at del mar flat mile having said that she's still going to need to improve, but she always has a punch chance with that speed that she brings the game. There's plenty of other horses in here. Animosity, took a terrible step going into the far turn. Sounds like she's okay. Fingers crossed. Knock on wood. That was a scary moment for for an instance. One of the horse that I want to really discuss because I'm very, very interested in see where the choose to come back with her, what kind of races they wanna run her in. I don't think Colonia got a fair shake in this race. I thought she was ridden quite passively by Joel Rosario. She got pinched back early on when they were exiting the gate, but she's probably gonna come from the back of the pack anyway. So it didn't really affect much. I don't think she was just held back for quite a long time before Rosario started to make a move. And once he did coming off the far turn, he got stacked up behind horses there for just a brief minute, but enough finally gets rounded the clear and she kicked home really, really strong, came home in eleven forty, five. She galloped out monstrous to me if I'm grim ocean, I'm looking at a horse Colonia saying, okay, we won that stakes race at Arlington. Her second start was here. I think it's better than it looks on paper. I think she wants to go longer than this and I know that the division in southern California's not particularly strong. I'd be bringing her back out there for the rodeo drive at a mile and a quarter. I know you're facing older horses, and I know x, y, and z. You might face couple of the. Other girls in here, he might face California, gold rush. I would take Colonia and sent her right back out for race, like the rodeo drive that's going to be on that prep weekend. Imagine with along with, you know, there's an yada. Awesome. Again, all sorts races. That's what I would do it again. That's, that's the thing I don't have any say with any of these horses. So I can all I can do is offer opinions where I think they would fit. And there'd be interesting in certain spots and then colonial race, like the rodeo drive at a mile and a quarter is interesting. I think horse like California, gold rush in that spies. Interesting. I think California gold rush race the QA to at Keeneland interesting, three year olds. All these candy..

"To start them l. stall junior Corey Landry your team. Three two one and the outside horses Kelly's humor Brad Cox. Trains Joel Rosario will ride there on the board right now at thirteen to one and the horses. Have turned and made their way toward that starting. Gate they're moving their. Two by. Two side by side. J. t. what do. You think of the great one test well. It was, interesting I was taking a gander at? The Phillies as they came. On, the race track and made a couple of notes that number two spectator she. Was on her toes. In getting a little, hot alert maybe a little hotter than you'd. Like her to be too hot day kind of muggy here at Saratoga but she she. Looked like she. Was a little agitated separation of powers fantastic she. Looked sharp her ears were up she was paying attention to, everything around, her, she looks ready to run a. Big race and then the eight minute to. Stardom I thought she looked great. She was the, paddock pick l. stall junior a great trainer this Phillies Undefeated in and it would be quite a feat for her to win this. Race actually because you know she's. She's had a rather easy campaign she's not. The typical Philly that you've. Seen a. Great one but Al stall is no dummy and he places horses where they can win and she might have a good chance, yeah, I I agree with, Jude I I saw him walk. By she, did look, very good on the track listen she's she's wondering the right racier to find out how good she is it's called the test this is a big task. For her she hasn't faced horses like this yet in her life but she's been very impressive in all three? Of, her races so. Far so she can handle the rise in class I think she's a dangerous source here that's who I picked in the race mostly just. Because I really like there's five horses here coming out of, the victory ride that they ran at Belmont on July sex and I didn't really like that race I'm, trying to, avoid those horses and I wanted to face, as minute to. Start. Him with a, new face I wanted. Now we're going to find out the horses. Have now arrived at the starting gate which, is positioned on the very far side. Of the race track we. Are believe it or not we have a great vantage point. Here today Is. Truly blessed with this location we are just. A, stone's throw from the racetrack literally about twenty yards from the race track. On a platform that. Which is right in front of the. Finish line really if you look to our right that, finish line is only about forty or fifty yards right inside the sixteenth pole doesn't get any better than this looking. Forward to this upcoming test stakes the. Horses are beginning to load now the first to do so we'll be number one Norma's charm a bit of a long shot in here under jockey Manny Franko is a, matter of fact now the longest shot. On the board the Tope board reading sixty two to one charm from the inside post position if you are going to. Look toward at upset guys I know you talked about minute to start seven two is there somebody else in here that maybe even as a little. Bit longer than that you say. Oh watch out this horse could be dangerous Well I kind of like spectator a little bit until I saw her on the. Racetrack I thought she had a legitimate chance to win but she got really agitated so I kinda cooled on my affection for my Longchamps would be the nine Kelly's. Humor the source turning back out of a longer race I think the cutback in distance works for her she's a closer there's going to be pace in. Front of her here she should have, something run in the stretch she can game a little bit. This race makes up perfectly for her. Again this race the race preceding that grade one Whitney, it. Is the grade one test aches. For the three year old Phillies seven, furlongs on the main track there's number nine Kelly's humor standing behind the starting. Gate now like a veteran that she is Brad Cox, the trainer Joel Rosario board he goes ahead and, drops. The goggles down over his eyes he's set to go here it is the great one, test Larry, komo's, with the call on h. r. n..
