"His character to the rest of the union s and bobby jones maria on the chad that we use guilt and fear as a means of control. Because it's easy to control somebody else's behavior that way but the sabbath a reminder that god doesn't use that he doesn't use guilt or fear to control us. How does god remind them of the value of the oxygen dunk as gary mentioned if they can perform better ultimately you're going to benefit from it. They're seen as tools that can be easily replaced. But god says no. They need to be blessed as well. And the slave born in your household or the foreigner living among you. They need to be refreshed. Any imagination world this concept that you are there to bless foreigners somebody who's not of your tribe that you need to be kind to your animals you need to be kind to the slaves. The law of the sabbath is going to tell you that you have to release them after a while they cannot be perpetual lifetime slavery different nation different type of community. John i read accidents twenty thirty. Your interest is two different from legal hitter. It is all about community and celebrating community and being at one with kenji. Not just keeping the okay. Bobbie jo this. Discussion is basically looking at the difference between liberty and slavery and the thought came to me that the very essence of liberty is rest because people who are not at liberty cannot rast. It's only the free that can rest. And it's amazing. Because in the garden of eden basically satan's argument or accusation against god. To eve was that they were enslaved that they were not at liberty to make their choices that god was withholding something from them and yet when we look at the sabbath it seems like the sabbath in absence is the sharpest argument against the claim that we're enslaved to god and i think that that's why it would be most offensive to jesus. The creator of the sap is when we keep it in a legalistic way because where then becoming slaves again. He has liberated us to this rest. And yet we enslave ourselves or others by a misunderstanding or mis keeping of it while said but we joe terry is eight fifty eight or see store in three how god remind these people. Both little prophet isaiah. What is the true purpose and nature and agenda goats agenda for sabbath keeping yet day after day they seek me and delight to know my ways as if they were a nation that practiced righteousness and did not forsake the ordinance of their god they ask of me righteous judgments they delight to draw near to god. Why do we fast. But you do not see why humble ourselves but you do not notice look you serve your own interest on your fast day and oppress all your workers so you have turned your religion into a way of self serving and then surprised that the outcome is not what you expected and then comes verse thirteen and fourteen if you refrain from trampling the sabbath and pursuing your own interest on my holy day if you call the sabbath delight and a holy day of the lord honorable if you honor it not going your own ways serving your own interests or pursuing your own affairs then you shall take delight in the lord and i will make you ride upon the heights of the earth i will feed you with a heritage of your ancestor jacob for the mouth of the lord has spoken us if you read over six and seven is not this the fast that i choose to loose the bonds of injustice to undo the throngs of the yoke to let the oppressed go free and to break every yoke is it not to share your bread with the hungry and bring the homeless poor into your house when you see the naked to cover them and not to hide yourself from your own kin so it's to turn attention away from yourself to others now in light of this. Let's go to john five now. You know the story from percy's one to fourteen about jesus finding near the sheep gate in the place. Bethesda house of mercy where there was no mercy and everybody's looking at the water expecting the solution from the pool and jesus turns their attention to himself and says he's the one who brings mercy into a place where there's no mercy when he has the men do still hope to be. Well he said no. Because i have no man i have. No one can take me to the pool so that i am healed. And jesus shows him. The solution does not come from the tradition. Our old horror holy connected with something supernatural which might not have been supernatural. Might not have been an angel the lord. Interestingly that's what people around the believed but it's questionable whether that was the source of healing because other places the gospel say that never has been the eyes of lined opened et cetera et cetera. But jesus says in verse. Eight due to set to the man get up. Pick up your mat and walk doin. The man was cured. He picked up these matt and walked and the day on which this took place will sabbath were standing so the jewish leaders said the man who had been healed. It is the saab. The law forbids you to carry your match and the man the best he can say it's not me. The man who made me well said to me. Pick up your mat and walk so bill with him. Not with me or sixteen their for the jews started persecuting jesus because he was doing such things on the sabbath and how does she respond. How did he defend himself. But jesus hansard them. My father is still working. And i also am working for this reason. The jews were seeking all the more to kill him because he was not only breaking the sabbath but also calling god his own father thereby making himself equal to god so he didn't help him sell the defense legal so into greater trouble because they know that he's not equal with god and of course in john the narrator helps you to see things which are behind the scene so that you would not know otherwise insult from the prologue. You already know what they don't know and so you know they are on now. What's the meaning of this guy. What happens that he.

"But this is the up. If you wanna give duke. Johnson one more go. Let's get to the football team against the cowboy. And guess what tell you what. Any dog look like a different team. And you. Don't a professional quarterback. Joe first things first with cowboys Thoughts prayers pray Out to strength and conditioning coach markus paul and his family a recording. This on tuesday and there was a reported medical emergency on tuesday morning that required the cowboys to cancel their practices and a because marcus always rushed to the hospital. Just thinking about him and thinking about the cowboys organization in his family from everything. I read a very respected up person around the nfl. So thoughts out to him as an oakland. He's on the pathway to recovery and when it comes to dallas cowboys. I was reading a column by the athletics. Bob sturm who does around up of the cowboys game kind of a debriefing. If you will of the game against minnesota last week. And he of course gave credit to andy dalton who came out there and he executed exactly how you would expect dallas expected andy dalton to execute any event he was pushed into action within see that early on because the offensive line was a disaster. Maybe dalton was getting a grasp of the offense with the with the dallas cowboys. But the in his first number of starts. That did not happen. It did happen against minnesota. He played solid clean football. Zeke elliott had his best day of the year amari cooper in cd lamb had good days. But maybe the key catalyst or bob sturm zack. Martin one of the best guards in the nfl. The right guard ross. I'm doing offensive line. Shout outs here. You gotta be happy one of the best guards in the nfl. Tackle to right tackle for the first time in his career and pitches a shutout against minnesota. According to bob sturm and i would tend to agree. Maybe the key part of that cowboy offense and if he can be out there right tackle stabilize that offensive line. That is going to be huge for this cowboy offense going forward. I don't know if you saw him. But i mean just just a heroic in key performance that. I don't think anybody's gonna argue. The cowboys are good. But for our perspective is if it's going to allow zeke elliot to produce if it's going to allow any dalton to stay clean in the pocket and distribute to those receivers. It's good for our purposes totally agree and they're much better much better on the offensive line with him out at tackle. The steel kid was really struggling. What about the football team. They didn't put up huge numbers against the bengals. Didn't have to. Obviously we're going to get to the joe burrow situation which was just a nightmare but with the football team is pretty simple. Alex smith is a stream. -able quarterback i expect he'll be pretty popular on the sites For the for the turkey day contest because he'll be on the lower end of the pricing and he has a good match up Keep an eye on the status. Not not that. There's anything to worry about here. But the monday injury report had both antonio gibson n terry mclaren as did not practice for the team with an ankle injuries. There doesn't appear to be a reason to worry here. And if you wanna know about antonio gibson. Oh you know joe terry. Jd mckissic had twenty-nine targets in the previous two games. What the hell happened. Well here's what happened..

Support. You know can help people to not get in a place of loneliness but in the book they talked about some notes they had from people who tragically into their life by suicide in one note said a man who had ended his life by jumping off a bridge in his in his not said if on the way to the bridge, one person smiles at me, I won't Joe. Terry it. It's when I read things like that I end my training many times with that story and I, say who could bring the one smile tomorrow who could bring the one smile because it's it's you know I might not be the sharpest knife in the drawer on this topic. I mean I'm not saying I'm not very smart, but the point is. I don't think we've estimated the value of the empathy and you know we're all in this isolation you go and Walmart to shop people got their headphones on and you know and we're more and more distant and the value of these relationships seized protective factors. You know because that man that day said, all it would take is one smile and I'll reconsider. Yeah. And with with these masks on. People Smile with their is. I mine crinkle up so. "The ravens twenty years ago in fact he is joining us on the phone the Superbowl chanting my body troop Trent Dilfer so I've got about nine and a half minutes on this thing so I want to get to it Trent so we got into this discussion earlier where Jay Cutler had a great arm but I thought he threw a hard ball big Ben's got a great arm but he often throws it behind receivers are I know more homes is some god like super arm talent I think it's touch as long as you can make ninety five percent of the throws what you what what do you make of the term arm talent what invented it to be honest with you I don't like that and I start use on TV before anybody else about twelve years ago because I was really frustrated with that conversation I just left the league as a value in college guys rias pianos work with the lead allowed then I kept getting these conversations are care conversations with personnel people about arm strength and I was like I don't understand you know why arm strength is this big differentiator mocs quarterback that just got done playing I've studied the best guys I played against the best got eyes and wasn't always the arm strength that differentiate them it was some of the other thing about their talent and I was good with the GM a Superbowl GM or have this conversation he was challenged me on what is talent as the value we're looking at talent towing of it often the guard Thomas receiver tells a running back all of them be a player a baseball player lacrosse player soccer player what talent encompasses all the different ways about athletes and I said what we call their aunt Helen and by using the term arm talented thing he has a lot of different talent within his arm he can change the temple on the ball you can use touch you can throw it deep you can anticipate you can change arm angles and if we start user terminal valuations circles of our own that hopefully people are smart enough to differentiate between strength power right I I love Mangini's example the hammer right therefore encompassing talent that really shows that well this guy can do a lot of things throwing the football that's what arm talent was intended to be it's just been hijacked by lazy analysts the wanna use a sentence says sane arm strength if they aren't dealt with that was never the intent you played in Tampa Bay and I love asking people who have played in Tampa Bay yesterday asked Brandon Marshall about jet stuff because he's played there I always thought new England's culture was academic and intense I've always thought Tampa's talent was loose to lose for my taste not as urgent not as intense and not as serious I don't worry about Brady completing passes I wonder how his intensity will fit into the more relaxed champion who you and I were both there in the more laws a fair relaxed culture of Tampa do you think it fits well I agree with you that is typically the cap of proper mentality I think two things on this topic one you don't have a choice when Tom brazier quarterback did your mom comfortable is where you find great you can make everybody uncomfortable because that's great to see the growing pains and that there's any push back and that they are not a current group is ways all the time but guess what you don't have a choice he got a job on and fall on because he will drag it to a championship I do think there's another element on you know the spot yeah but there's another another part about camp and that's the east coast migration there are a lot of hard and its high achieving academic intense people that spend a lot of time in camp about box fan I think now they will they will gravitate to the box new mentality they will gravitate to Tom Brady and his intensity and they'll have a reason to be Buccaneers fan because he relates more to their hard edged mentality from the east coast yeah you know yesterday Brandon Marshall said it's an interesting use of words he said the Packers have wasted Aaron Rodgers career into that I would say winning super bowls there's no rhyme or reason Dan Marino and Dan Fouts and Jim Kelly were great with great coaches they didn't win it I mean who can explain it you know I like you lie I don't know if these two super bowls Grady lie but you want to what do you make of the the the the word Aaron Rodgers career in Green Bay has been wasted I think it's a little strong are you ready you can use not maximize instead of wasted I think you have a generational talent Aaron Rodgers one of the top five most talented guys there play the position very good leader to an intense guy hard worker tough guy you know has always intervals and they never supported him with one other defining trait with the team so they kind of put too much on him I I would argue the one common denominator in all these multi mobile Super Bowl winning quarterback is supported by a great defense work great defensive coaches coaching mine yeah I still believe defenses win championships and multiple championships yes the game is changing yes you need to invest more on offense but not art side of it but if you go back down that list that you went through earlier the common denominator there's support those quarterbacks were supported by great defenses or great I'm surprised people never give the great forty Niners changed enough credit for the defense where I grew up in the bay area Joe Montana's out Becky the base team source Roger Craig does Jerry rice Dwight Clark Brett Jones however those defenses were suffocating and it gave the ball back to Joe Terry Bradshaw gave the ball back to Terry Tom Brady Belichick Peters gave the ball back to Tom Brady Troy Aikman's defenses in Dallas gave the ball back to Troy Aikman so I would say the big western Green Bay was they didn't have the foresight to invest a lot of money into their defense I think they made the bad hires and coaching because quarter coaching positions they should support their better with a better deal I don't believe in purity in pro sports it's about talent not everybody's going to have my values I totally get it I just don't want him to be disruptive but I'd roll the dice on some people Antonio brown Seahawks ravens are mentioned your thoughts.

Monte peaches off the table is starting summer in Ireland. It was stick. Excuse me I went to England Ireland. Thank you very much clearly. Not all white women. I feel like poor young white moving to Ireland the money go to London. We're just wondering where the next wave is going to be became much for a while. I would feel safer much feature from this nail as well. Sand all right so here. Go from Dana. The question is more. Would you suffer crippling fact-based anxiety for the rest of your life in exchange for ten million dollars no way crippling? It's a snail t. You never know where it's a snail it is a snail indeed wouldn't even. I wouldn't even if like you told me some more dangerous after me. If you were like a lion's after you for the rest of your life I'd still take ten million dollars for the assuming all the three of you have like he him pronouns. This very clear gender. Divide here. I'm sorry I think that's fair. I don't go the all the women that I know have anxiety about tiny things that catch them. This is your this is your test group. I mean perhaps women are just the the wise ones I. What about me? I said I would take on my snail all of yours. How does that? How do that Jeter by Sarah? Sarah Sarah Your your argument has been defeated. Because I forgot. I am happy to make cookies for middle income grandchildren. Thank you also bred my sour dough. Starters Really Nice. Anybody needs any. Actually I actually do for you. Some lambesc all right next question. We are going to Some of these going to be silly summer thought provoking summer just questions. So we're GONNA drop this down to Anthony Anthony. You're going to kick us off on this one. If you could bring back one famous person being bring one famous person back from the dead. Who WOULD YOU PICK AX question? As I think this is important to clarify. Are they being brought back immediately at the time of death? Where do I get to choose at? What point in their life vague return? What do you think Dave? I think it's only fair that you get to pick. There's a lot of people that died in pretty advanced age new like. That's not nobody cares about that person anymore. Sorry nobody cares about that person as they are then in terms of pop culture. They're plainly probably still cares about okay so so if I could bring back anybody at any point and I say okay. I want like this era person food. I'M GONNA go with early Twenties Davinci. I know it's Cliche but I would love to see the the genius that he had. In Modern Times I would love to see young scrappy. Brilliant Davinci with Modern Technology. Because he was so so far ahead of everybody else in his time on pretty much every level and as a polymath. I try consider myself somewhat of a polymath He's like the God of polly maps and I would just love to see what he would come up with and how his brain would operate given all of the technology and so many things that he created back then that we now have like to the degree to have him turn around and say okay. This is what you've made based on my designs now GonNa take and build on top of that. Everybody's answers is going to be really crappy after that switch to a new question. That was really good. Listen to Cape on the couch and listen to wisdom like that all the time on the couch. I am not the smart one. That's my co host. I'm just eight years likes comics. Well on here you can be the smart ones so that's cool beaten Anthony on this. Anybody else got a famous person. They would want to bring back from the dead and who I just want to say. This is not. This is just completely backing on what we talked about earlier is. I would like to bring back. Kerr Cobaine my husband. Swears Courtney killed them. And I don't think so. She did not kill him now arranged. It is a bad us. Thank you because if we're if we're talking musicians which I think is a whole separate because I hide an answer. This question considering like musicians because I feel like the first thing I thought of. Who Do I pig prince or Bowie like for years? I have always said if I had a time machine one of the first things. I do. I'm very curious to see who's going to get this. I would go back and give Terry Kath Gun safety lessons. Yes the DAG gets that because Terry Kath Got Their brilliant. Didn't know how to Joe Terry cap average Qataris for Chicago. Okay on who famous last words. The guns not loaded. Yeah all right. There's one Ryan Guy Walt Disney Bring Back Wab Disney and show him what they've he was super racist her racist. Like of all K- that's okay okay. Why do you have to ask Dave if it's okay why it's because Davis Brown and Brown friend? I'm Brian on this. Joe Brown. Remove outcast Does this does this to be dead already. Can I just restore somebody to their prime? Yeah why would you want to restore your pride Dave? The Real Martha Stewart fucking party. Joker Mindless Stewart is in her prime. She is in her garage. Listen listen I'm just saying it. I don't know when when might have been her just like peak in terms of just listen. I get down with the students. What's Newt like? Is there a cooler? Now you WanNa talk about what's brings prime. Let's talk to store sneakers. I like old crazy. Uncle Snoop any other version. I like crazy new to me. I think we estany like he was on the problematic uncle. He says Shit Jalek. That's not okay. He does but you like us new. He doesn't get that grates. He doesn't because he acts like too much of a Dick. He's the angle where you're lying. Why is he go? He's so good he's such an idiot? You're not even drunk. Why are you like this hat? Dave to his prime. I've never had it with an old bad back since I was in seventh grade said much. You WanNa take me back to fourth grade when I walked Third Grade Jaffe champion and spelling bee champion. No actual person who I would bring back in their prime Along the same lines. I think I would get along with and really loved to party with Langston Hughes Okay so one obviously a great poet great lyricists feel like you bring back Langston.

"Show it airs locally on channel five at two o'clock right before Twin Cities live most other stations around the country it's NBC show always interesting to me and yeah it's owned by NBC universal so but yeah so channel five has it here locally debuted yesterday I watched basically the whole thing I was on a TV bonanza yesterday I was trying to watch as much as I could why am I love daytime television so fascinates me. overall I might overall my opinion let me this to break it down here overall my opinion hasn't changed much from what I thought I would feel met is this if anyone can break the curse of the of the talk show host it is Kelly Clarkson I basically feel the same way and if you notice a hesitation on it is because I don't I don't know their format yet and I will withhold judgment I I did you see what I said a few minutes ago about the talk and the chemistry I really do not think it's fair for anybody to judge a talk show on its first episode I don't think you should really judge for its first year so that's why I always love when networks don't give shows time to find an audience and more importantly find the rhythm because it takes a long time to figure that out you gotta play to the strengths of the host right now they're doing that with Kelly Clarkson I will save a net positive I love the way they open the show on the open a show like this on all this is going to be a daily thing but they did a little higher today and Kelly Clark said and then she starts singing and she sings a song that I guess an audience member picks so instead of just coming out like you know Alan comes out and dances I come out and hugged candle you know Kelly Ryan come out that sliding door the door opens and Kelly starts singing and I love that I thought that. that was yeah her gifts yeah I mean again and what I just said a few seconds ago play to the strengths of the host and that is what they seem to be doing with this little device and I love it then she kind of white she stood on her said which is beautiful and talked for in in order to monetize and I was like okay this is this is okay this is interesting she kept pointing out all the working women in the audience and and then bomb the rock came out and I was like oh okay I mean it was an interesting format now I will say the funny thing right off the bat was before Kelly came out there is a special guest that arrived through a sliding door he walked out in the audience started screaming it was Steve corral listen listen to this. it was very cute I thought now that school and Kelly said she it was one of her ideas early on and she told the producers can Steve Carell to scream. I thought that was really cool also a little fun moment lacks a little fun moment but I don't know did you guys seen clips or anything I just I saw some of the scene like you said I love how they started that but no one fortunately I didn't I didn't get to it but a lot of the twenty somethings that I'm seeing all positive all really yeah good good good good good yeah can she you know she's a talker girl I mean she's a Texan she's a southern girl she didn't hi yeah I hated lex you watch the voice and we were talking about we are talking about Kelly in our in our presale meeting for the talk show and lex I don't know if you've mentioned this and and and and I just in here we've never really talked about it executive producer Jeff was telling me that the social media scuttle but is that people love Kelly but they don't love her on the voice they think she kind of takes it over but she's a little too much on the voice what do you say I absolutely agree although I did like the distraction away from the bromance that was kind of the focus for a long time between Adam and Blake sell for me I didn't mind it but she does talk a lot so that's why when they see this is an album he was gonna have a talk to him yeah perfect because you really can you can Kerry yes I mean she's showing that on the voice over and over again so I can see how I can get really annoying but okay quite annoying me as much as maybe other people I just I was happy to see some other people in the borough spotlight yes on the voice other than those two we're talking about Kelly Clarkson shows debut yesterday now Kevin Hart was supposed to be her premiere gas but as we all know Kevin was involved in a car crash so Kevin's good friend costar rock are substituted in here's the rock talking about Kevin. rack. I spoke with Kevin actor for him as my son. I've connected with them today and you know what these things happen in life and thankfully Hugh strapped in nice into his car seat so I think that I'm only kidding. and and he. he's doing very well you can be here as you know but look I love the guy he's one of my best friends and and honestly I mean thank god it could have been could be a lot worse so is a lucky man and so happy he's get out yeah and he. I love watching the women in the director of the Kelly Clarkson shows a good director because I called the Oprah thing because they take the reaction shots it was always great you know there's so many good things about the Oprah show but one of the great things is Joe Terry the director he knew how to find the perfect audience reaction shot you know he always got the perfect tear running down a woman's cheek he always got watching the women for eek the blank out at the sight of the rock hi are you literally LOL on my couch the way he has a re women have a reaction to this guy and I I obviously knew that see it on the Kelly Clarkson show women like the door slid open and there he stood. only king out because he's so awesome not only helpful to look at but how funny is in charismatic and I know while but yeah overall I I I I I I wish her well I think it'll do well I I need I need I need to find the format you know I mean I watch more to figure out okay because day one you can't charges soul with a special show. on their toes you know with that sometimes when it just becomes rat a tat tat okay now they're gonna have a guest okay now she's gonna do this okay now they're going to do that I like that maybe it's a little bit like on the edge of who's gonna come out next what's gonna happen next will she double a lifestyle segment or what's going to happen yeah well she lacks she has a crafting wall out of you did you hear. have it because I saw the sets a and she basically everything she asked for she got well yeah so yeah. love to craft with Kelly Clarkson how fun with me yeah no that would be fun live yeah I'd be one heck of a segment I know she was a crafter hooker right right yet to making crocheted yokes mall you don't cry try. five five picked up a few for me over the. yes dawn Anna remaining those few seconds tell everyone about the Alzheimer's walk if you will yeah it is September twenty eighth at target field I will.

"A disability I told Joe Terry Moran I said I do hope you give me credit when you make a correction on the internet bags now I ask everybody around him I'm in my missing something here on this thing okay question twelve in the nineteen fifty census form ask were you born in a foreign country of so list the country that's question twelve question thirteen says are you naturalized yes or no naturalize being a naturalized citizen that's okay citizenship question on the senses of the night okay well I run that by everybody that I know when they go off we of course it is so I haven't heard back from tearing is been radio silent seventies going but I mean instead of trusting Georgetown University for crying out loud I actually went and found the census form so we'll see how this plays out but I mean the there was an I wouldn't think that bill Barr the Attorney General be telling folks that we dance this on the senses when we have so I see this is again like a see goes down to the border and so my tells her there drinking out of making him drink a tall and she assumes it's true I tend to believe people that I have no reason not to believe and if if the if the border patrol people are saying no we're not making folks drink on the toilet and if it sounds too fantastic you need to do your research so if a see it on a research you find of that was bovines get taller it was actually a sink that's above a toilet and so they're saying them his drink out of the total Jeffrey during the sink or the water fountain that's above the toilet same thing here I have no reason to believe the bill Barr would stand in front of the entire world and tell me that they have asked the since the US citizenship question on the senses when they happened so I'm not gonna take Terry Moran's word for for may be seen or my gonna take Georgetown University I'm gonna go looking around to see if I can find something that is actually proof one way or another I can't say I just I mean I was rather nervous I found the form and I downloaded it and I said oh okay am I gonna have to eat crow here you know and so I started going on in Iraq and him asking him what what what what whoa whoa whoa question twelve question third thing bingo we have a winner Rene you're up next Renee what's up yeah hi I don't know if a lot of people know this but when you file your taxes there is a citizenship question on your taxes I was a tax preparer for a couple years and are you have to ask questions even for the child tax credit and tax credit is that your child he if you give birth to this child if your child that your blood can anybody else claim this child you provide more than half of the care for this child throughout the job for more than six months and are you in is that child a citizen of the United States I've had many people come up you were only goal if you have a green card didn't have any ID want to file their taxes to get the crowd got credit for that yet and can do it yeah well there you have it so I mean the way if we're asking it only on an IRS form ranking of everybody out there exactly so I don't understand why they're all not for you now why are you asking if this increase your question to get your child tax credit yeah I think you're speaking what they wanna you know freak out about and this is what they want to freak out about I thank you I have no idea what's on the tax forms or anybody else knows what's on the tax form because they have somebody else do their taxes they don't know what the qualifying questions are for for children or anything like that plus another question I'm I know you have a lot of reports here I was wondering what is on the sensors for other country what's on the center for Mexico Davis isn't your question on the thank the first air or for Cuba or anything like that I would like no I bet you they have assistantship question then I would think so like the the boom is standard operating procedure for most countries at that they wanna know whose citizens is not thank you very much I love your show you have a great day I see them very much who's next Mike you would be up next Mike what's up Hey fail how you doing I'm doing good and I had is it I know the citizenship question should be on the census absolutely but I can't figure out how that would tell us how many illegal immigrants around the country because of most of them don't answer it how do you know well that's the other thing I mean you can't they broke into the country in line about that they let him stealing social security numbers I can't imagine they might be forthcoming if if you ask the question but let me tell you something here's what I think is going on now this is something that the president will never saying out loud but the left is afraid of the censorship question is going to scare some folks in the leaving the country and I think that's exactly what what is from one seven and there's nothing wrong with that either he just can't say that out loud you can go to the Supreme Court say well my reason for asking this is the frightened the illegal aliens in the getting out of the country but if that's the end result so be it I think it's a wonderful result well I do too I just thank you most of them will answer it hello we still want no other eleven million or forty and now what I would think is probably closer to thirty Yahoo number you will and when you know we may never know yes Sir nine preaching the phone call my friend I you know we may never know I just is the prince will think what in the world could be wrong with asking if you're a citizen I mean they ask it in nineteen fifty what state or country were you born in if you were born a foreign country list the foreign country you were born in the next question is are you naturalized in other words have you become a citizen and it didn't seem to bother anybody back in nineteen fifty course we didn't have any see back then either Bob you're up next Bob what's up what led to go be with the financial for awhile thank you Sir listen listen on the definition of national I said if I can talk I could speak to this because I was affected by this my my father was a an American soldier in Germany I was born around nineteen fifty one my mother was a German right when I was born I was not allowed to be an American citizen at that time under current law if you look up the definition of naturalized citizen it's as someone who really in who are person is born in another country and becomes a citizen under the American law at that time will want it changed since then if I under that same situation I would become a since then but I didn't I didn't become a system so I was in college I had to go through the normal process application review all that stuff just like anybody else in another country and and I I'm not considered natural so I think in nineteen fifty two or whatever that was the question was clear fine who was born in another country but became a citizen under the laws at that time so you know I do too careful with that definition it's it's a little tighter than the navy what you're selling well I mean as you that you're either a a natural born citizen or you're a naturalized citizen a naturalizer somebody who moved here in the becomes a citizen obviously when they're asking if you're born in a foreign country and then they ask if you're naturalize that's what they're asking well but I think they're I think they're getting that someone like myself as a baby I'm I'm born American parents even back then I would have automatically been American citizen night and that's that's what I think the definitions for naturalized but it's not boring suit more into only one American parent elements form at that time I wasn't committed to be an American citizen in the current laws it's different now and I had to go when I got to the states my my parents took me through the normal processes I had to go through the normal things like anybody else to become a citizen I double checked that I that's that's what I recall many years ago yeah well I'll check on and I appreciate the Terry Moran has responded so here's with Terry says ad Ballantine show a different enquiry than a direct question is this person a citizen of the United States it's really not they're asking if you were born in a foreign country if you were born for a country if you become a citizen that's all we really wanna know we I mean we don't have to ask you were you born in Montana are you a citizen we know you are if you're born in Montana your citizen that's why they ask in the previous question what state or foreign country if you're born in a foreign country wanna know which one and if you were born in a foreign country have you been naturalized that's a citizenship question he said well that's as vision here at your leisure I mean what you don't ask the question of somebody they put in that blank before they were born in North Carolina then you don't have to answer the question fourteen it's as if born in a foreign country answer question fourteen question fourteen is are you naturalized hello and of course the question to the answer could be no I'm not a naturalized citizen I'm here I have a permanent visa or work visa or student visas or whatever now they're not going to count you it's just that they're asking if you're a naturalized citizen if you're born in another country I mean this is simple as that one of these is that a different enquiring than a direct question is the person S. as in the United States that said the court found the administration has the authority to add a scissors citizenship question to the senses but also the the proffered rationale was just a pretext for the real reason and I said the and on and on that we agree but years got Scott quick time out with we'll get to more of your phone calls and a six six one five seven three seven nine nine eight six they right where your genesis diamonds WGN traffic.

"Is a beautiful place. Right. Wouldn't you say towel city, I would say I mean it's really gorgeous. It's on lake here on, and it's, it's such a laid back summer kind of place that. I mean, even the birds are laid back. I just saw female Mallard crap top. Really? Yeah. Yeah. So it's kind of place just realize fries, you didn't ask if it needed a ride, well, speaking of with its joke coroner. No joke telling me about corner related gentle, but I would not tell with showgirl because he wanted to beat it. He wanted to react, spontaneously with the joy that he do. I was gonna feel just to that crap. Yeah. That was that was a good that might have been it. In fact, maybe if a Mallard was in a field was in a oakfield, and it was a crop top without have been funnier because odors, the crap. Oh, it is a crop huh. Yeah. Okay. Yeah. That's funny. Or on a silo. Silo. Yeah. Oh, that could be funny title. I want to have you take your mind back in time. Okay. So far to to last year. When I told a very good joke. Tell us joke. All this wasn't really supposed to be a joke. It was a mind bender in the mind bender Chris, I'm actually joked today. But the mind bender was that Napoleon met his Waterloo at Waterloo. Yeah. You know. And then there was another one about the late great Irish focused, Richard Harris. And this is kind of fun fact too. And this was that Richard Harris, he had himself he got himself into a real. Donnybrook. Donnybrook. This is this is more of a story. Okay. And as you told me that when earlier, right? Yeah. I don't quite remember it, but I'm just reminding you of chokes pass got a lot of postcards from our listener. I this next the reliable same kind of. That like that. But this is everyone's anxious to hear. This is a little longer. This is about joing Kerry, Joe and Terry are two guys who live in Mali in west Africa. You with me so far? I'm just chilling. Okay. So join Terry live in Mali, west Africa. And Joe Terry, jeez. I gotta spend the weekend at my granny's house. Okay. Which one said this Joe Joe and Terry said what's wrong? Don't you love your granny? Joe says, of course I love my granny, but she lives out in the country, you know, it's worl- here in Mali in west Africa, and the problem, I love my granny, but she doesn't have WI fi shows at any internet service, and he doesn't have cable TV. I said, that's crazy, where could she live not to have that? And I don't know out in Timbuktu somewhere. Wow. So that brings us to. Maybe we should. I would chilling until at the cable. I've just hurting today. You can see why. Thing. And let's hit a little motel coroner because we had photography corner yesterday. And, you know, we open it up to listeners should it be photographers coroner or photography coroner, I did get an Email from new listener, Christina. And she said Deere, Bob, please stop mentioning my name on your show. Okay. Okay. Well, that's easy. Okay. That's solves it so motel corner. And you wanted to mention something about the amenities that were provided. Well, I was surprised at the level of syrup of manatee that receive the for example, the little bar of the bar of hand, soap, you know, you get those at a hotel, they're generally kind of small, and there are motel, motel corners, I would just called. Yeah. This coroner. This is a regular feature. Okay. So in the motel not the hotel, I opened up the little pack of soap in this pack of soap was actually the size of a quarter look like I guess the old fashioned. Straight razor blades. That's a good comparison. If any of our folks listening to the show are thinking of slashing their wrists right now. It was about the size right of regular race. Yeah. Yeah. Two people out at are objecting. I don't know. I just thought I heard some wildlife bursting through the bushes to try and stop us. I'm thinking I'm sorry to hear laughter all over the place. I think the Jodi already it has it has a mosquito bit me. And it's transmitting that joke all over the par. And also, I notice this, those amenities did you notice a little sign on the sink that it said, if you forgot to pack some say like tooth pressure, some item has come to the front desk for a complimentary item. So I came to the front desk, and I forgot my toothbrush and the women's said you're looking good today. Yes. Yeah. That's another joke that I did not know is coming to. That was a good one too. Yeah. What's, what's happening is something Orioles over there. Had that fire away bird, look, all of your face and everything else. And then it's just down to business. Down to business next Saturday. We're going to be at the graph nature center, and we're giving talk on feather brain, my new book, feather brained further brain, and that's my new memoir about how I learned to become a bird might fumbling quest to become a burder and find a rare bird on my own. Check at Amazon dot com and your local please, please pay is your local bookstore. Well, I got my kindle. There you go. You went to the kindle store, but I had to say I did order online as well. Paid you pay. I paid for two, I was going to give you one well that was a long time ago that came out, and I figured well, looks like I'm not going to get what I did get a complimentary if from the publisher. Why say the first ten pages did I? They were very fast reader. I just sent him a few at a time, but we're graph nature center in Holland Michigan on Saturday, too late for any of you, folks. It was a great talk. Yeah. Thanks a lot. But we are supposed to also possibly take some birds out or some would be burgers out to show them how to bird and I'm kind of nervous about that. Because I have no idea what to tell them. I look up. Yeah. And then listen. Listen identify said walk. But is I go ahead. The prime is when you and I are all birding what we do seems like magic Mitchell seems like ordinary person just, you know, throw an arm out to the left and I say Baltimore Orioles. I throw an arm out to the right. And I say, Baltimore Oriole. It seems like magic. That is magic right there. Yeah. I don't know how you magic that was an Oriole right there. I don't know how you can live magic live magic and just talking about showing an arm out there. There was the Baltimore and yesterday when we saw the full disclosure you did throw your arm out. I did. And now I have it in a sling. So what's next I had I don't know. I have something that's species list Cup that doesn't make any sense. Two. I must of list. Yeah. To say. Cramp. Oh, they're sees list. Oh, I know what it is clip. You see this here. Clip? I have this little notebook. And right now, this little notebook is holding v very important notes to this show. Right. Has he can't do a podcast like this without very specific notes. People think this isn't scripted. But every word is scrip everywhere descriptive. So anyway, this is my species list notebook. And when I go birding I'm pulling it out of my pocket all the time. And I'm writing down Baltimore Oriole to and something like that. And so, but I keep pulling it out of my pocket. And putting it in again, the pages start getting all wrinkled a little spiral notebook in the pages get all wrinkled, and it's just a wrinkly mess. And so what I've done here Bill, I, I wish this was a video awhile. I have put a little clip on the bottom of the spiral notebook and it holds all the pages flat. This is going to revolutionize bird. It will. I should have go site and should, you know, collect money to develop this product on the go, f- me site. I wanted I want you to demonstrate this on the book character, Bill home Facebook page. Oh, that's good video that wait, what's this fine here? Holy cow. Oh, robin. Robin. Well, I mean, I hope I didn't because fleeing by Armata turn the bird into a Baltimore Orioles. So I think that merely brings us to the unbelieving of the first half, we're at towers point, I was gonna do another photography coroner. But, you know, I was going to go into all the technical aspects of taking photos of birds. But I guess we just don't have time for anything informational what go into all the technical aspects of taking photographs of birds. Suddenly, stop setting the shutter speed center that there is so but I know we don't have time for information, the shows, too fast, moving content, frankly, it's all about entertainment as well. It is. And once again, I would like to thank the folks at filler Inc for providing so much content for the show..

"Date, Tara is on the phone and she went to a concert with dude named Ben. And she got ditched he said he had to go to the bathroom and then left and she hasn't heard from him since. And if you're listening to the first part, I said earlier, this is proof that you shouldn't let people leave to go to the bathroom. Do it right there in front of I take that back. That's a little bit extreme. But I think from now on if you're on a date and somebody says after go to the bathroom, you simply just follow them into the bathroom. No. They won't leave you much better idea. Terry wanna try that next time? Yes. I'm taking notes. Okay. Good. Have you ever been ditched before on a date know, what never I'm usually the one that does the ditching even more confusing? How how long did you wait at the concert before you realize? Oh my God. He's just gone. I mean, I was still really enjoying their show. So I definitely say till the end like, oh, I don't know you people around me. So you still enjoyed the concert at least. Oh, I like your attitude like I said, I really just want to know. Why would ditch me everything seemed like it was going? So all right, cool. I'm gonna his phone number right now. And see if we can figure it out for you. Here we go. Hello. How can I speak? The Ben please. Yeah. Hello, ben. Hi, how are you today? On doing. Okay. The is Spanish for you. I'm sorry. What? Oh, sorry. I should have introduced myself. This is Jubal from Brooke and Jubal in the morning. The radio show. Okay. Okay. Cool. Well, I'm calling you today. Because one of our listeners actually emailed us asking if we get in touch with you. I don't really know why that's happening. But. Well, that's what we're here for do. A segment on our show called the second date update. That's where somebody goes out on a date. And then the person doesn't call them back after they can Email us to get that person on the phone and ask what happened. So you went on a date recently with your own. I'm tara. Yeah. I I I I did she she wants you to call me. Yeah. Because she's been trying to get a hold of you. But you haven't answered any of calls or anything. That she's a bit of a weird accent? Is a weirdo. Yeah. Yeah. We're that you've made out with. No, no, we're that. I absolutely did not make out with. Well. She told us that you did make out kissed. I don't know where that idea came from a concert with her. Oh, I did go to a concert with her. Yeah. That's true. But there was there was no making out at this concert. Okay. Well, her story doesn't really match yours than other than the concert thing. So she's telling you that I made out with her. Yeah. She says that you went to a concert guys made out. And then shortly after that, you went to the bathroom and disappeared. Okay. No, wait. No. What you already said. No on the kissing. Did you deter though, did you go to the bathroom and deter? I didn't go to the bathroom. I guess speaking. I ditched her because she was hardly paying attention to me. And I I just left. Okay. So you you you did ditch her? Yeah. I guess. Yes. Strictly speaking. I did. Okay. Wait. Hold on go over the night. I wanna hear what happened in your words. Okay. Like, you said she got in touch with me invited me out to the show. And you know, she was like in full on party mode. When we got there like she was looking around all the time like she was made by like the lighting at the venue was paying more attention to that than to me. Well, defensively have good lighting 'cause I fan of writing. It was cold. But it's it was it was like a moth to a flame. And it was just the intensity of the focus was just. Concert. Like, what do you expect her to do just talk to you the whole time that you? I mean, you're supposed to listen to the show and paying attention to the show. A little bit early. And when I would try to talk to her few kind of staring off over my shoulder at something. And she was like, yeah. Yeah. Yeah. She would just say. Yeah. Yeah. Yeah. And then on the other tangent. Well, she like drugs. I mean, I hope so otherwise she's in for a really weird life. Okay. The show started. We were dancing. I've never seen dancing like this. You just like flail all over the place in hopping up and down and rightly I've seen enthusiastic dancing, and this was like verging on manic dancing. She's a manic dancer, and then we got separated in crowd, and I tried to to refined. I looked for a minute or two. But then I realized like I'm just going to be putting myself back into this really weird situation. So I just I decided to leave. Okay. I wanna know where the makeup comes from though, because she told us that you guys made out you lost each other for a few minutes, and then found each other again and made out and then he said he had to go to the bathroom and left. I don't know what to tell you. I mean, there was no making between. Joe Terry supposed to wait li-. We totally made out. Been that's terro. If you can't tell her. She was on the other line listening wants to talk to you. Okay. All right. Yeah. So what's the deal? Why are you lying? We're totally made out. And then you just me. I don't know what to tell you there. We had we didn't make out what after we got separated. I never saw you again. I and we. Grind up on each other making out happens. Don't you? Remember, you pulled me, and it was like a look lobby nibble mayor a little bit. And then it was like a lot sloppy wasn't about kissed her. But you know, what I was gonna hold it against you until now because you're li-. Well, yeah. Really have a response to that. Are you lying been? Did you make out what their don't want to say that you made out with her and disster? No, no, I'm not lying. I didn't make out with her. I'm becoming increasingly glad that I didn't make out with her. Terra? How were you sober? I mean, how sober were you tear when this happened? I wasn't like a. Sober issue. I really concert. So I may have like download on to make it more fun. The. I guess it works. If you're having twenty fun. Like doing something else. Besides alcohol. Yes. Yes. I was. All right. All clear on that. I mean, I thought it, but my friend, and I had this whole plan. And it was ruined when she bailed. So I figured I would feel better with mine off of the plan just with like bumble. Don't you think it's weird? Like, it's kind of weird to like go out and do that on your own when the other person, you're with is in the same state of mind. I'm not gonna say totally thought it through. No. But I regret very little. I had. Okay. Do you see like the possibility at least that when we got separated? "He's a really down to earth humble guy who hasn't lost touch of reality for someone who's been in Hollywood his whole life. Yeah. Yeah. And has major opportunity so he could absolutely have every excuse to be like at completely out of touch, not even dick. But the luge it'll. Yeah. And he's really from what I know not, you know, and I only know him in the peripheral, but everything I've seen it's like like soccer dead from Wisconsin against great. He came on the show once and I feel like from that one experience I can say the exact same things like family man, excited about his wife and his kids and like has all the school stuff going on in his career. But like knows what's important, and like is also cool about talking about all of those things. Like, he recognizes that he's had all these kidding. And he doesn't take himself too seriously, which it's I think it's hard to do when you're someone you see a lot of people who want it for a season. And all of a sudden, you're like, hey, we're Harlin Monroe. Okay. Well, there's your team like well. Let me get out of your way, sir. That's so funny. And so true. I mean say it is for him. I still want answers on what happened with play-by-play? Because like I thought it had a lot of potential there. And they had a really good roster. Think sometimes in general with shows of you can have a great show in like, even like TV scriptural, you can be critically acclaimed, and it just doesn't get the audience. I think there's I think having successful shows on TV is truly hard because you really have to have that ground swell, and you have to reach the masses. And sometimes when you have I think really good show a good format. It could be totally well done it just for whatever reason, maybe the marketings not great or whatever I think it's hard to do because I think it's easy to do things like have a podcast or a low production. But everything in TV is such a high production value in the so much cost around it that you really have to have a homerun, otherwise, I think they just scrap it and try something else. Yeah. And so I think that's probably why. It's like, scream queens. Did you ever watch? Joe Terry O'Connor was in. It is incredible. Ryan Murphy and Roberts, and I was talking about it yesterday too. I just kind of figure out a way to work at Entebbe episode. So that maybe it'll come back. Sometimes Humphries family guy was off the air you ever hear of that show on it said, very good Christian bitches. It was based on a bucket was one season with Kristin chenowitz. And it was just like a precious gem of show that never got a second season. I literally should talk about it all the time. How all the shows like I love get cancelled. And now it's there it's coming back and redo it was like the exactly well now, they just reboot everything and anything, I guess that's the formula that works for the ground swell is like let's go with where the people already have those people who even know it didn't make it has like the cult following. Yeah. Especially grapefruit, like arrested development, an amazing show and a lot of people in like, for example. Austin powers, like weird segue. But like in the theaters Austin powers was considered a failure. Really? First movie. And then it went it wasn't until into DVD that all of a sudden people are like wait hold on time out. This is fucking awesome show movie. And it was because of the DVD sales that the whole like awesome powers to in three in the popular franchise came to be in the theaters it was considered kind of a bus. That's kind of like Riverdale to a now with like shows that air and then they're on net flicks. Like the first season of Riverdale aired on TV. I think it did. Okay. And then it came out on Netflix summer and like millions of people watching my season two. It was like massive you watch..

"So this one was kind of a weird one for me because I'm like Joe, Terry crews. Forgiving, dude, or feeling like this isn't as bad as other people feel it is that's his Virago. We're not a monolithic. We don't get the legislature for forgiveness. I would only really been mad at him. If he would've said and black people y'all need to do to y'all need to forgive him. 'cause that's his own personal faith. He can forgive people where he may have given the person that saw him forgiving. I know he forgave Hughley. Like that his I know that's the Mike Christian stuff for him and a bunch of other shit. And I don't think you get to cherry pick. The what makes people do things, they do, you know? I don't get to say like the Terry crews needs to be a good, man. But I don't want him to be a Christian like the part of the reason he's may have reformed himself is around his faith in God. I don't know. So anyway, audit say who's gonna forgive Terry crews and deal Hughley forgiving, Liam Neeson's forgiving himself. Okay. Someone step up to the plate. And do it. That's a lot. And you know, what I was even funnier. You know, who were tool to main people? Leading the charge on we can't be forgiven. Liam these what's wrong with Terry crews who while and Joe button. Ding. Just cancel what the fuck is happening. It's like the eighties removes of sitcoms having on Twitter. It's like this nigga is cancelled. I'm throwing him okay coup. But let me retweets automakers he said leonie's need to go to hail. And I agree. Like, what what you say it? What happened? I don't take. No. Oh my God. It'll drive you crazy. It'll drive you crazy. We'll get checkout. Sometimes anyway, man, good luck to everybody who won't forgive him. We'll forgive him or whatever the fuck. I personally can't lie. Does this thing about this forgive or not forgive this shit? That really makes it is such an illusion of power to me. I don't know this man. Mark forgiveness holds no value over his life. So me saying fucking forever or being like, welcome to the cookout. Nothing. It means nothing, and I don't wanna live in the delusion that that should even matter right or that I speak for more than myself. I speak for me me personally this ship bucked with me. Now, you know, I'll talk I think it was bombed Twitter for her daughter. And he was like I don't feel that fuck with. And I'll say, you know, what valley what I'm gonna tell you you got to now that was valid point. I'm not going to mean you or call you out your name not going to be like you less black to me. Now, you this didn't bother you in the way that it bothered me. And that should I should have some respect for that the way that I would like to have paying me. Right. And and at the end of the day, that's all people want for their opinions. Yeah. So I mean for me, I just is is really been the fence of it and whole I I did rounded it's like that black people can't even have we can't even have Phillies for a little bit. Like, you're gonna get mad. No matter how we feel like just the fact that we have. Been. Meanwhile, none of us calls this. None of us actors say this shit. Nobody asked him to go around talking about he was gonna kill black people. None of this shit nother is and yet somehow we always end up under the microscope of how did you react everybody talks about the pressure to be forgiving? Right. Like, oh when white people do some fucking, they always wanna see a nigga forgive. And I'm like you right, which you know, what else pressure. Now this president not forgive. Correct. That's pressure to now. Nobody can forgive. My fuck you, you don't know me. You don't get to decide for me. I get to decide on every individual case. 'cause only up to me. Anyway, right. Jim is not global fucking thing. Elegant you out on the show and make people forgive you, Robin Roberts can't interview and make people forgive you..
