"Rocket can Along with Joe Micheletti John dollars back and Emily Arena in Tampa. Late stages of the second period, the Lightning League Game five of the Stanley Cup Final one nothing over the Canadians. Offensive zone draw from Montreal kicked forward by Phillip Danault gets up and puts it below the goal line calendar centers off the droves. Skate. One time blast by Petry steered aside by Vasilevskiy attempt from the left point by Edmundson didn't get through Gallagher again to the corner after Knocked off his stick by Kuchar off the lightning or three on two if they hurry. Circuit chap. I beg your pardon up the right side, just feathers and into the zone and stays home Defensively. Woodrow digs it out back to circuited at the line. His shot does not get a redirect from Blake Coleman trying to come out of the left corner. Edmonson from behind the net, nudges it ahead and here's Gallagher. If your man is kind of entire career with Canadians got it ahead and to Foley has it taken away as he gets into the Tampa Bay Zone. Good play by Eric Turn at Future off at center throws it across that's intercepted by a back checking Josh Anderson his pass off the mark intended for 24. We will go all the way back Hedman collected for the Lightning Now with under a minute to go in the second, his outlet pass went off collapse Cape recovered by Evans right into the slot and unable to get a shot on that there was Byron comes back to Weber floated it on that a stick save by Modzeleski. Rebound loose in the high slot and point comes away with it turns on the Jets through center cuts inside. I'm Sharon, who recovers rides him off the puck, but he's going to take a penalty here as Evans touches up and the light One goal lead will have a one man advantage. Penalty in the final minute of the second period. This is why Brayden point is regarded as.

"Onside. Joe Micheletti John dollars back at Amalie Arena to 54 to go second period of Game five of the Stanley Cup final. And the Lightning have a goal from Ross Colton, his fourth of the play offs and a one nothing lead joke. Right now. Is Ross cold? They got moved up to that second line when Alex Killorn Hurt, blocking a shot in game number one. He's normally the second line left wing. And so Ross Colton has moved up there and scores a huge goal, his first point of this series. And pass off face off at center, just a hard, hard working goal. I'd like the way Montreal's played this period. Montreal has been the better team in this period. The Lightning have just five shots on goal in the second period after dominating the first Vasilevskiy made some some quality saves. In this second period. As I pointed out earlier, he has closed out the last four lightning playoff series with shut outs. They saw from just outside the Montreal blue line controlled by the Canadians before in a role. Already a Stanley Cup playoff records. Were he to get one more that would equal the most in Stanley Cup history by an individual goaltender as we talked about it last game, kill this guy isn't 27 years old yet. Lightning into the Montreal zone. A lot off the wing has his shot disrupted off of Sherrod. It goes out of play. He's got an unbelievable maturity level to them, though, right? I mean, when you hear His teammates. Talk about his work ethic. Was to the rink early. Always in the weight room. After practice, the last one in the weight room, working on his conditioning, his Russia is a big big goaltender takes up a lot of space reason. Extremely athletic. Holy as well. So interesting. You draw the parallels to previous championship teams back in Oh, four when the Lightning won their first Stanley Cup. Russian goaltender Nikolai Happy Pool right here right. They continue to ride a Russian goaltender here as they go for two in a row, and that's Levski talks. An awful lot about when Ben Bishop was here is the number one goaltender and how much he learned from someone that played every game and the preparation and he said, that's really helped them to get to this point where he's the number one guy. Bring it out of their own zone. Nick Suzuki backhands it through the middle of the ice school back to the neutral zone. Yanni Gorge didn't think he could play it because he couldn't And then finally, he did as Didn't want to let the Canadians play it so hand pass call brings another break under two to go in the second. The Lightning League game 51 nothing over the Canadians in conjunction with NBC Sports. You're listening to the Stanley Cup finals on Sports USA. We'll be back after these local messages..

Canadians and Tampa Bay now to 14 in this series, with the extra man playing the lighting zone, but chase down behind the net and nudged ahead. Bayan Rueda, who took one of those five minor penalties earlier in the period, would like to get it in the Montreal zone. Just ahead by Romanov. Off the left side Cat maroon. He had a goal in Game four as well, dumps it in behind prices. The Lightning will turn and change and the only true matchup we've seen in this first period has been the fourth line against the fourth line. Then at Cooper's just trying to roll everything. With the puck to the slot, picked up by Suzuki for Montreal back to the line Sharp with a shot past off the end boards came back to the right. So let's stick to the side. All field behind the net written off the fucking Anderson tripped up on the back of the net as he couldn't get away from. Some are so point hurries the other way for the Bulls. Backhand deep into the Montreal zone. Efforts. Suzuki takes the hit that makes the place Europe rockets and a head room in the middle of the ice for Caufield across the line with Anderson pitchforks behind the net. Donna there for the Lightning moves it quickly. The 11 year veteran out of Wisconsin got it as far as the corner. Brandon point puts the pack for turnout. Turn it going to be flushed from behind his own net now. Trying to finish changes so they'll get it deep, and they get it deep from the wrong side of the red lines, so that is icing. Ryan McDonagh, who has been on the ice for a long time. Trying to make a pass and was ready to make a change at the same time, but missed on the past and now has to stay on the ice here. Sirnak have had a long shift, to say the least, flight. Light advantage for Montreal as they get some fresh players on the ice stall out to take the face off. Long time corn in the lightning side and from his years in Carolina. In his career in the regular season stall 75 points in 75 games against the light doesn't have a point. Yet, though, in this series and Certainly could use him to get hot. Armenia gets it back to the point long shot, looking at the far post for stall and very nearly got away from Vasilevskiy. "Joe Micheletti, John Oliver and Emily Arena. The Canadians on their first power play of the game in a scoreless game five John Rueda offer a cross check at 7 19. Canadians have to go back into their own goal in coming over and Coleman very nearly. It's a short handed goal. He's got it again in trying to pitch Forks, backhander wide and Jeff Pizza, trying to settle things down for the 1st 20 seconds of the Montreal power play, which has been fairly ineffective in the series is equally ineffective. Canadians just one for seven on the power play, but they're making soft plays, jokes and they're getting outworked by the penalty, killing the lightning round. For sure, they thought Montreal thought that Tampa Bay was just going to clear the ice, clear the puck down the ice and the first one, Tampa Bay didn't try to make a play. And they did. The Goldman Suzuki fires it hard around and into the Tampa Bay zone. McDonough pops into the front of the net. Nobody home but Anthony Cirelli of the Lightning and he'll Isis. We've got a penalty coming up behind the plate. Is it coincidental minors? Let's listen. 81 got minor interference. 94 about two minutes embellishment, So it's an interference call on Sure knack and embellishment call on Perry. So it is coincidental Minors at 8 15 Peri Peri slammed the penalty box gate as he went into the penalty box. He didn't like it sure, not just came over and gave him a shoulder to the chest, and Perry went down. And the officials felt that he embellished to call enough to even things up Joe. To me, It's the age old conversation. We can talk about it all night long. How can it be both? It's either one or the other, but it is both because that's the call it does not affect. The manpower situation remains a five on four power play for the Canadians and Anderson offside as he tries to pull a pass from behind him back into the Tampa Bay zone. The Canadian power play still has 48 seconds left joke, but it does not look sharp. No, it hasn't. You know, this is a power play that that hasn't hasn't really looked all that sharp throughout the series. They got some young players on there. And you know, we've spoken so often about the Montreal penalty killing. Tampa Bay's is excellent as well. Now Anderson and Coleman jostle at the edge of the circle, exchanging short cross checks. The officials have to come over draw the old line in the back seat like on vacation with your brother or sister never works. No, it doesn't was going to say we'll see if it works, but Remember, the retaliation is always what Mom and dad caught. And here comes Coleman off the face off. He had a chance to come in short handed. But he's caught by Anderson is going to take a penalty that hooking call and Al Coleman saying it should be a penalty shot. He's all the way back at his own movie, but he's got a point. Did he have a breakaway and so cemetery so Tampa Bay makes makes the play. They try to clear it goes off a glove and slows down. And so Coleman is able to try to reach out and he loses control and trying to control it with his right escaped and that didn't work. So the game is being called tightly. You know, I'd go so far very safe. Would you consider that a pretty good penalty? Because if Anderson doesn't take that penalty, your point, I think Coleman, who's got great speed off to the races on a breakaway for sure. So it's four on four for the next few seconds as the lightning people fuckin and served Check trying to get it back from board had his stick lifted. It angles off the boards and back out center right shots. 10 2 in favor of Tampa Bay. Montreal Power play did not even produced a shot on goal before they took the penalty there by Anderson at 8 43. How Suzuki wiped out by Coleman Coleman's been all over the ice. Been the best player on the ice in this first period. He has points in every game in this series. And now Tampa Bay wanted one appellant. Too many men on the ice Suzuki on his way to the back. Edge. The puck just appeared in front of him went off the skate of a teammate that was going over the boards, and then he just dumped it in the rest of the way. I don't think it was too many men on the ice, and there's nothing else the officials agree with. Hedman handles it. Sentara is Tampa Bay Seconds away from going on their own power play now on their second power play of the game as the Canadian sweep it away, and Hedman has to come back and get it. That's another example. Cirelli gets it right at the blue line, carries it over the blue line, and immediately he's attacked. He loses the puck. Montreal clears it. Hedman brings it in for stand post wires it around and Cirelli battling with Byron to try to keep it alive. Future. AW, made a little pump pass into that bump position in the middle. Got it right back from point now has it right circuit out high. Hedman capitalists takes a wrist shot doubled up by Carey price Now that time Tampa Bay was able to get set up and when you draw has it that's when he becomes so dangerous. So he's on the right side, and he's looking for either a plate of the middle of play down on the side of the net. But this time you got it to Hedman on the left point, have been walked in and initially decided to take the shot because Cirelli was directly in front of Carey Price. But Cirelli took a step to the side price was able to see the shot. Make a safe rally wins the ensuing faceoff to the right of price stuck on the end boards. Evans didn't get it out shot passed by him. And the boy was looking for future off the right post, and he didn't connect hustling the other way. Evans trying to split the defense shorthanded, and he's written off the puck in the left corner. Now by Hedman dying Seconds of the power play, 10 ticks remaining. The man advantage point across the line. Trump Sutra back to feature off his pass deflected towards the Net, capped away by Carey Price and collected by the Canadians to know clears the zone. That'll do it. Out of the box. Anderson and the Canadians full strength, so Tampa Bay over two on the power play, and they turn it over at Senate. Here's Suzuki on his own into the Tampa Bay Zone strips to the left corner wanted the centers of the far post. But that came gored to intercept that. It stood out by the lightning. This go all the way back in the Montreal ice. First man on Heathrow rolls it slowly to the side of the Net, and Carey Price scoops it up. He'll hang on just under nine minutes to go. In Game five first period in Tampa, no score between the Lightning and Canadians in conjunction with NBC Sports, You're listening to the Stanley Cup.

"Across the line on left wing, an election and his angled off good played by Anthony Cirelli. They're allowing them to stretch it. They caught the Canadians on the change plot gets it over and Kucherov scores. Bad change by the Canadians costs them dearly. It's 31 Tampa Bay and what an alert play by the Tampa Bay defense again. They've been involved in every goal. John hollers Joe Micheletti on the call Here on Sports USA. It's been always something from Montreal in this series, and not usually a good thing. What's cost? The most are bad line changes that even cause that Killer to on old goal, uncharacteristic turnovers and bad locations. Odd man rushes galore and they've never had the lead in the series, which has only happened to other times and Stanley Cup final history. When it was all said and done, head coach Ducharme has some thoughts on the importance of scoring first now. Well, I think it's huge against any team, it would be something important. But at the same time Cannot stop lying. And you know if you don't score the first goal, so no, we want to have a good start. I thought, uh, I thought last game we, uh it's not that we had a bad start is just You know, the major spirit right away on a on a nice ng and and on Empire play. Uh, fuck that we to understand. Uh so we need to, uh Managed to start the right way. Come out, dynamic, active, uh, playing our game, and, uh, you know, getting that first goal there for sure It would be important. And then there's carry Price who was standing on his head, with or without a helmet. All playoffs long from Montreal. But in this series against the best on the planet, the haves Future Hall of Fame goalie ISO and three with the 4 39 goals against at an 8 35 save percentage. Has allowed two goals in the first four minutes of a playoff game for the first time in 87 career starts, and that can get you one win, let alone a chance to win the cup and he knows the score. Now. You don't have a choice. Uh, you know, we've we've overcome adversity all season long. And you know racks are obviously against the wall. So we're going to start bringing our best. Yes, an understatement for sure. And don't ask his coach. If there will be a change in goal for this must win carries a guy playing Monday so If you wonder, or people wonder about who is going to be a net. Kerry is going to be in that. And, yeah, you can talk about one guy and another guy. It's about all of us. To borrow all of us. We need to be better in front of him. Everyone all 20 guys putting on the jersey you know you are looking for Monday night. Playing their best game. That's it. And so how are some of price's teammates sounding now that their backs are super glued against the wall? Well, Brendan Gallagher was actually asked if he can take any positives from that disastrous game three loss. You just have to Correct the mistakes. I mean, it's your here. I'm not going to sit here and take a whole lot of positive. We We believe we can play with these as we believe it since Game one. We just haven't shown it enough for a full 60 minutes. Uh, you know, we've had we've had spurts where we've you know, everything We've talked about. Everything we've done is work. Uh, but there's just been mistakes in our in our game. And, um, you know, we're playing too good of a hockey team. They're you know, they're deep everywhere. They're gonna capitalize are gonna make you pay. Uh, so you know, the positives are this This team has been In many holes. This change been doubted, but the character in that locker room isn't going anywhere. That's something that, uh, we're going to keep competing. Keep playing. In terms of how the games are being played. We need to get better. Sorry for the possible record amount of cliches ahead, But here they come as expected under the circumstances. Josh Anderson, What's your mindset to stay positive? Um, no, we're here for a reason. And, um, obviously, we've dug ourselves a little bit of a whole year. And, um, in the mood slight right now, and, um, we have a job to do, and we're gonna Do everything we can to, um, stay in this thing and fly out Tampa on on Tuesday. So everyone just getting prepared for tomorrow night's game, and, um, we're all going to compete and work hard and put off full effort in Of course, Tomorrow night is now tonight and many moons ago, I was the radio voice to Wisconsin hockey and their leader, then badger. Bob Johnson had some wonderful sayings. Not sure if this was his or not. But what should be hanging in the Canadians locker room right now and became a championship slogan and Madison 60 minutes. No alibis. No regrets when we already know it's a great day for hockey because it always is, and even more so, with the perfectly shined up Stanley Cup in the building, along with our glossy broadcast team. John dollars and one time Montreal drafty A few years back. Joe Micheletti, standing by Atlas, Sandra Bell Fall in Game four and May. None of us ever have to be as desperate as the ABS are tonight, guys. Well, you you Teddy. You pulled out a few of the many cliches that will probably toss around time. The cup is in the building. There's no tomorrow at their backs are against the wall. They're desperate hockey team. All of those things. But also the Tampa Bay Lightning of tossed some cliches around Joe. The fourth one is the most difficult game to get, and there's a little history here. Certainly there were ghosts at the old Forum. Those ghosts remain in Montreal. The Canadians have lost the Stanley Cup final eight times in their history and going to the final 32 times, but only once. In the city of Montreal. Have they lost here? So this is not a foregone conclusion. If you're the Tampa Bay Lightning. You have to just keep the mindset I would think of. Keep your foot on the gas. John Cooper, talking with the media this morning, said. We had a couple of chances last year to finish teams where we didn't I don't get the feeling this is a team that.

"Our Sports USA, Los Angeles Studios or we are most proud to bring you every minute of the Stanley Cup final and we are down to crunch time. It's do or die, or it's golfing season for the Montreal Canadians who trail Tampa Bay 03 in the best of seven final, and only one team has ever come back from dropping the first three games and going on to win the Cup. In 27 tries and 20 of those clubs getting the sweep. And that was the 1942 Toronto Maple Leafs over Detroit. And no, I wasn't there. But leaves Captain Syl Apps was and he got to skate off with the Stanley Cup that sits in the building tonight, waiting for the now probable back to back run by the Lightning. Meanwhile, the last sweep in the Cup final was in 1998 when Detroit put away Washington and who is the captain of the wings and their M v p that season? Stevie I Zerman, the man who helped put this Tampa Bay Club on the championship map. So a little trivia for you to play with their as we get you ready for Game four last Friday night, saw the first Cup final game played in Montreal in 28 years in the home team lost 6 to 3. The haves had everything in their favor, except for maybe the rosters. It was the emotional return of interim head coach Dominic Ducharme from Covid Protocol. They had a small but loud and proud, very boisterous 3500 fans in the building and many more outside chanting. We want the cup, but it was Tampa Bay that came out flying, and they not only scored first, but twice in the 1st 3.5 minutes of the 1st and 2nd periods, which was just too much to overcome. For the haves and oh, not only haven't a Canadian scored first yet in this series, but they're yet to get a lead, which is by far when they are at their best 26 giveaways in Game three by the haves after just five in each of the first two games, hardly the recipe for success first time in 12 tries this postseason. Montreal has scored at least two goals in a game and lost Now. It feels like months ago when the Canadians won seven straight and scored first in each of those to get here. Module did get back in the game two with a big first goal of the playoffs by Phillip Danault in the opening period to make it 2 to 1, Tampa and then it was only 1 40 into the second period when the Canadians made one of their too many bad mistakes that may have cost them the game and really the series. Gallagher feeds it across the line on left wing and Lincoln and his angled off good play by Anthony Cirelli. They're allowing them to stretch it. They caught the Canadians on the change a lot. Gets it over and Kuchar off scores. A bad change by the Canadians costs them dearly. It's 31 Tampa Bay and what an alert play. By the Tampa Bay defense again. They've been involved in every goal. I thought, uh, I thought last game we, uh it's not that we had a bad start is just They made us period right away on a on a nice thing and and on the power play. Uh fuck that we to understand. Uh so we need to, uh Managed to start the right way. Come out dynamic, active. Playing our game. And, uh, you know, getting that first goal for sure will be important. And then there's Carey Price, who was standing on his head, with or without a helmet all playoffs long from Montreal. But in this series against the best on the planet, the Habs Future Hall of Fame goalie ISO and three with the 4 39 goals against at an 8 35 save percentage. He's allowed two goals in the first four minutes of a playoff game. For the first time in 87 career starts, and that can't get you one win, let alone a chance to win the cup and he knows the score. Now you don't have a choice. Uh, you know, we've we've overcome adversity all season long. And you know racks are obviously against the wall. So we're going to start bringing our best. Yes, an understatement for sure. And don't ask his coach. If there will be a change in goal for this must win carries a guy playing Monday so If you wonder, or people wonder about who is going to be in that Kerry is going to be in that. And, yeah, you can talk about one guy and another guy. It's about all of us. To borrow all of us. We need to be better in front of him. Everyone all 20 guys putting on the jersey you know, are looking for Monday night playing their best game, that's it. And so how are some of price's teammates sounding now that their backs are super glued against the wall? Well, Brendan Gallagher was actually asked if he can take any positives from that disastrous game three loss. You just have to Correct the mistakes. I mean, it's your here. I'm not gonna sit here and take a whole lot of positive. We We believe we can play with these guys. We believe it since Game one. We just haven't shown it enough now for a full 60 minutes. "Stanley Cup final and we are down to crunch time. It's do or die. Or it's golfing season for the Montreal Canadians who trail Tampa Bay 03 in the best of seven final, and only one team has ever come back from dropping the first three games and gone on to win the cup in 27 tries and 20 of those clubs getting the sweep. And that was the 1942 Toronto Maple Leafs over Detroit. And no, I wasn't there. But leaves Captain Syl Apps was And he got to skate off with the Stanley Cup that sits in the building tonight, waiting for the now probable back to back run by the Lightning. Meanwhile, the last sweep in the Cup final was in 1998 when Detroit put away Washington and who was the captain of the wings and their MVP that season? Stevie I Zerman, the man who helped put this Tampa Bay Club on the championship map, So a little trivia for you to play with their as we get you ready for Game four. Last Friday night, saw the first Cup final game played in Montreal in 28 years in the home team lost 6 to 3. The haves had everything in their favor. Except for maybe the rosters. It was the emotional return of interim head coach Dominique Ducharme from Covid Protocol. They had a small but loud and proud, very boisterous 3500 fans in the building and many more outside chanting. We want the cup, but it was Tampa Bay that came out flying, and they not only scored first, but twice. In the 1st 3.5 minutes of the 1st and 2nd periods, which was just too much to overcome for the haves and oh, not only haven't a Canadian scored first yet in this series, but they're yet to get a lead, which is by far when they are at their best 26 giveaways in Game three by the haves after just five in each of the first two games, hardly the recipe for success. First time in 12 tries this postseason. Montreal has scored at least two goals in a game and lost and now it feels like months ago when the Canadians won seven straight and scored first and each of those to get here much. Y'all did get back in the game two with a big first goal of the playoffs by Phillip Danault in the opening period to make it 2 to 1, Tampa and then it was only 1 40 into the second period when the Canadians made one of their too many bad mistakes. May have cost them the game and really the series. Gallagher feeds it across the line on left wing and licking and his angled off good play by Anthony Cirelli. They're allowing them to stretch it. They caught the Canadians on the changed a lot, gets it over and Kucherov scores. Bad change by the Canadians costs them dearly. It's 31 Tampa Bay and what an alert play by the Tampa Bay defense again. They've been involved in every goal. John dollars. Joe Micheletti on the call here on Sports USA. It's been always something from Montreal in this series, and not usually a good thing. What's cost the most or bad line changes that even cause that killer to Ah, no goal. Uncharacteristic turnovers in bad locations. Odd man rushes galore and They've never had the lead in the series, which has only happened to other times and Stanley Cup final history when it was all said and done, head coach Ducharme has some thoughts on the importance of scoring first now. Well, I think it's huge against anything it would be, uh, something important. At the same time. You cannot stop crying. "So you only pay for what you need halfway through the first period in Montreal, the Lightning with a fast starting to lead in a series, they already lead two games to none. Joe Micheletti. We've seen the haves with little push back here, but nothing to show for it on the scoreboard. No, but there they are doing a better job. Vasilevskiy is really having to fight and work to see some of the shots at Montreal is getting Face off right at center ice, controlled by Phillip Danault, dumps it in behind the net and vasilevskiy out to paddle it away himself. Savard up on the rush takes the long rink wide feet out of the zone fires a good low, hard shot, kicked away by price, long rebound collected and brought the other way by Danault. Driving The net is Gallagher Dental Scores Center Lane Drive from Gallagher may have Taken the eye away from Vasilevskiy and Philip to know has his first of the playoffs. Well, that's the key matchup that was against the point line. Now what started this play was serve our Tampa Bay defenseman skating down the right hand side he got in Inside the top of the circle, got a shock, then tried to get his own rebound. So now he gets caught up and it's a two on 12. No coming down the left side. You were right as far as Gallagher cut going quite hard to the net. And, you know, waited for Gallagher to get there. Then he took the shot. Ambassador Husky had trouble finding it goes over his right shoulder and the response by Montreal is a big one. They get to within one. John Cooper has Francis Sharon over at the boards in front of his bench, and they are looking at the video to see perhaps was this offside, It could have been because Gallagher You can see how to step onto no Gallagher was going right down the middle. And are they going to challenge? This does not look at it. It looks like it. So there's been some criticism locally. Put your surprised face on. There's been some criticism of whether or not this to know life needs to pick up the pace offensively here in Montreal. Well, there's your answer, and it's now 212 nose. First of the playoffs at 11 16. Well, maybe, you know, finish. I mean, they've gotten plenty of chances. They just don't haven't done a lot of finish it. Joel, Sir, They're also out there to make sure they stopped the top line there against Joe. You mentioned Savard up on that rush. Carey.

"Story tonight, Joe Micheletti. They do the shots at this 1.0.27 to 8. Just the Suzuki line who had Three shots on goal in the first game. They've got 11 led by Nick Suzuki, with eight Canadians making a big push here in Game two, and almost throughout the entire 35 minutes, played already. I'd add one is a feathered in behind Vasilevskiy, who's been outstanding Canadian four check gets in money and he couldn't get it over to Anderson. But now he engages cut her off. He gets a little support, and it's brought back to center ice by Brayden point. Surrogate. Jeff is the trailer. He'll wind it up the left boards and in John Merrill has it in his skates for the Canadians back to the corner, But point is there and he is absolutely wiped out by Joel Edmundson. Puck squirts to price and the goal crease and he taps it ahead for Josh Anderson. He can move and he speeds into the Tampa Bay zone cuts to the Net. Vasilevskiy makes the stop. You know, fresh off the Montreal bench keeps the puck alive on the left boards in the Tampa Bay zone, pushes it to the corner. Little give and go to know has it again from behind the net feeds the right 0.1 timer by Petry in the left had safe by that, so let's see that change direction in front. Canadians now getting a little net front presence. It was our Mia who got the redirect on that one boy. Has he been good in this game? Puck comes back in and the Canadians are offside. You go all the way up and down the line up. For Montreal, and so many of their players have been much better their team game and this feels Like a 51 game, and the only reason it's not it's because of Andrei Vasilevskiy. He's the reason why Tampa Bay is even close to being in this game. This is totally one.

"But i you know my my thing is what what's more important me is. I want to see a guy play two hundred foot game and he has made a lot of little defensive plays bars health has finally like i won't say family because he's he's gotten better from the second half of the season on but he is back checking which is just as important scoring goals. You gotta get back. You gotta support your goal. We and everybody's got to have skin in the game. And so one thing that barry trotz them with this team now know adopted gets gets a little ice time taken away from him late in the game. And that's understandable. He's young kid. You don't wanna see turnovers and things of that nature so you try to protect what you can But i will say that this was simeon bar game last night. Five on five. The bruins were all over the islanders. Look i'm not an eye on a fan. I'm trying to be objective. As i possibly can and listen to the opposing coach screaming about penalties. That tie yes is there. Were a couple times last night where they ran right over varlamov and no calls were made so it goes both ways and it has gone bolt. I just told that there is a reaction from the officials in game six because of that. I hope this isn't one of those. Squeaky wheel gets the grease situations and then you see like a five on three in the first ten minutes of the first period of game six. I was waiting for a late penalty to be called on the younger. It's like in the last five minutes goal. Yeah no normally. That's what happens but they by the way. Great time out by barry trotz. I thought that was the. That's when you use your time out in hockey it's like here. Come the bruins three down a goal. It's like view need to regroup and let's make sure that we win this game. I mean it was absolutely terrifying if you are an islander fan watching those last couple of minutes. Don't they say like a three goal. Lead is the hardest ledin hockey. The two goal lead at the ready to go dreaded goal lead last night and look and i think joe micheletti and peer. We're talking about last night. We saw in the national broadcast. They were talking you know that they were backing up too much. And i think that's what barry trotz must have been saying to his players during that time out. Amen gotta still attack. We can't stop and just think that the our goal is going to make fifty saves tonight. So i'm sure something like that was was said so they need already here. That's all ready to meet. You need is here are unbelievable man in time six. Oh seven and our meets the the warehouses going twenty four three o'clock in the morning and they're getting ready to eat meat going. I just wanted to shout them out. It's amazing i mean when the the and they say they're bringing meat they really bring the meat so i flipped over to the net just to see what's going on there up thirty points on. I'm like why. I thinks it's just nothing. I mean nothing and you know remember jaanus has talk about. We don't care about home court advantage that other crap. Well you should have cared because you the nets had twenty one threes last night and the bucks only attempted twenty seven of them and i think they hit six or eight. Maybe there might have hit eight. I mean that's the game right there. I mean it's a three point shooting game. And i just i just there's nothing compelling is nothing glance night last night there wasn't i mean in the bucks just have no got still got no guts at all. James harden goes out. Forty-seven seconds into game one. They end up losing that game..

Improve to thirty seven and twenty eight with just seven games to go. And the knicks are now twelve and one in their last thirteen games and remain in the fourth spot in the eastern conference with seven games to go almost incredulous there at the end. That's right. they've played great thirteen of sixteen as well as they win. One eighteen one four- so they've taken the first two on this six game road trip. Julius randle at twenty eight. Derrick rose outstanding with twenty. Five here is coached. Sibito played well against a good team on their home floor attacking the pain. You're you're you're water thing. They did it. Well aren't sluts. Still the classic. Would you sign for boomer. Nuggets sons clippers lakers de assigned from one in three in those next four. I like to see too but I just wanted to take. I wanted to get one possession. One quarter one half one game. I understand well. They played the son's really tough that before they lost at the garden the nuggets. of course. We'll actually the lakers beat the nuggets last night. I think he did. Yeah it is correct. I will say. I lost their point guard. Yeah i mean this is this is gonna be a didn't play last night either to back and anthony davis was like flexing calf and it doesn't look good over there Philly did beat chicago one. Oh six ninety four so philly leads brooklyn by one game now for the top spot. You've got new york in denver tomorrow tonight. The nets are in milwaukee again on the fan at seven fifteen. Also you mentioned the lakers. The final score that game ninety three eighty nine over the nuggets and lebron is getting clobbered on social media for that whole play intake because apparently march twentieth of last year he was discussing. How the teams that are. Seven eight nine. They should have to battle it out. To get was the guy who came up and so people have. It's screen shotted. And they're basically tweeting at him with the video from him. Two days ago thing to remember they're playing seventy two game season so where they make. Most of their money is going to be in the playoffs from tv so they basically cut the season down ten games and now they added this play in series. Because it's worth more for tv and it's worth more for the players goo goo just doesn't wanna bees. He was slipping. Where y senate it hypocritical. Good for everybody else but not us. Yeah he's been out for eight weeks anyway. The i know but you know where it comes from. He's saying because he doesn't want to fall into the one game playoff you know. He's this team is slipping. He's freaking out about it. He doesn't wanna come down to one game and he's going to bitch about it so you ever came up with. It should be fired. But i think it might have been him. That came up with my very well could have been right now. They're in the fifth spot but they are only one game out of seventh. That's how close portland is to them. Dallas is a half game behind them. Portland is one game behind them. So you do have that Also speaking of the blazers. They lost the hawks last night. One twenty three one fourteen and then. Also the wizards beat the pacers have about the score. One fifty four to one forty-one russell westbrook fourteen points twenty one rebounds and twenty four assists in finance position. You got to be able to make somebody around you better. And i feel like i take a lot of pride in effort energy and time and watching film and to be able to make others around. Better four assists. They've had a bad an unbelievable run their to the next head. There's thirty and thirty five now. I think i'm trying to find it. Yeah their last twenty games. I think that they finally figured it out. I love russell westbrook. He's the mvp. Yeah they are right now. Intent three full games ahead of toronto. So they're going to be in the plan. This run is put them into postseason. Play if you will To the rangers. Let's get to this mess. last night. They lost the capital six three. That's one part of the story. Sadly the other part is that also doing right. Great question. sam rosen. Joe micheletti on. Msg just no place for this. This nonsense that happened. Espn has Bhishma vich down has got his. These gotta say one hand on the back of his head the other one is pounding away is dislike and then of course the rangers responding and then i think you know preparing comes in. They're jumping in like a fly on. Don wilson's easy. I know these a moron. This whole this whole arms out flexing thing i mean. He's a maniac. Lost his mind. Anything you know the organization building in emboldening him. They say that. Right after the game with the twitter account Just shows you. They love it. They love it over there to grow. It also goes to show like the different medias too. So i went and found peter laviolette. Post game yeah. Any lee spoke for five minutes. Do you know it was the last thing he was asked about really. Yeah and now unless they unless they started the video after he discussed it. But i don't think that's the case it was. The last thing they talked about so here was the question. It was at the very end of the The zoom meeting was kind of physical. Play that no not not much there. What was your view. I thought it was just scrum. Like physical and then he continues to go on. I mean i'm reading between the lines but it almost sounds like he's blaming the rangers for starting the whole thing. There is something going on originally with the you know the goalie in the jamming at the goalie and we had a hunch players jump in there happens. Yeah okay happens a lot. Sure does and by the way the way that the question was asked to the physical play. Not much there leading. Maybe you can find something. I'd like to hear quinn had say here's david quinn's is nothing new at this clown. A bunch of us are some people who no longer work here have been recorded is going to save. You went out of your way to get zack martin to sing. It's over for this moment. That would have been one real screw job there but okay very good. It's over boomer. You knew that. I do that to you on the vikings lost. I do anything i think i played that. I think you're emboldening these guys. Oh you okay. Maybe but i don't care as much as you do about it so it doesn't hurt me more about the viking. I'm not as much they. I know they're going to lose that. Make fun of it. When the vikings lost you could now that i didn't okay 'cause i know bothered you know it didn't really. It really does not real fem. That basically not. Oh no not anymore. No i've got bigger priorities than bunch of guys who were younger than me. Running around making gazillions of dollars to lose all the time. So when you have a family you have a different perspective on things. You know what. I'm saying so anyway. I'm sorry for your rangers That they're out of the playoffs. But it's good for us because we won't be talking about it as much each morning show with boomer esiason.
