"Wireless, no contract, no compromise Bourbon. We were just talking about Major League. Baseball and my opinion is, it'll get done because now they're starting to haggle. But you sent me something just a second ago. What did you just send me that the players agreed to? So the players have agreed to a realignment, so there's going to be three divisions of ten teams each so the east, the east, the two. East. Central and the. Al West will play each other, and they'll only play their nine divisional opponents during the regular season to cut down on travel. So basically, it's what we talked. A month ago Mega Mega Mega. Divisions, yes, it's meg divisions. Also that means that it. But it's agree to. The players have agreed to that. Okay well there, you go, so I mean I still don't love the players this this notion that the players didn't WanNa play in a bubble and they're going to have to play in home parks and I get that they're going to regionalize it and make it a little easier and less taxing on travel. But Man I like here's the thing like. This thing this pandemic isn't over, you know what I'm saying. That's not done. You know like I. Know that people think. Maybe it's halftime, but it's not like that's. That's going to be an issue hopefully. It doesn't become an issue moving forward because of the travel and all the things that have to be involved in hopefully just taking precautions, masks and things of that nature. Help but. I'm a little worried about that. Part of it is all I'm saying. Yeah, I'm with you because I mean look at it just just the West because the dodgers are in the West I mean they still have to go to Colorado and Texas and and. Washington and they're going all around the country still. They're not just in Arizona. They're still having to fly all these places. It's just it's still a travel. Yeah I'm a little worried about that. Myself, but we'll see how that works itself out all right so real quick. Joe Lockhart Is the former NFL executive vice president. And he is said. Quote now is the time to sign Kapernick, and here's the thing. The NFL the NFL I didn't get a chance to get to this yesterday because I was just so incensed about so many other things that I just forgot, but. The NFL put out a statement. Over the weekend that was basically. Talking about Colin Kaepernick and their their belief. In the right for peaceful protests. And they were, they were doing it. Without mentioning him. And I just thought it was like it was so stupid that I, just I couldn't help but laugh, so I quote tweeted it and said. I'll take irony for five hundred Alex. As if I was playing jeopardy, because it's really like this is the move you know what I'm saying, Lake. This was this. Is Your position now? Where was this position a couple of years ago? You know that's the stuff that. It just. It's mind boggling to me. But there are teams look. Here's the problem with Cabernet right now and I. do think he should be on a roster. I think he should have been interested. The whole damn time like you can't tell me that there are ninety better quarterbacks than come on. That seems ridiculous. But. You've got other guys like Cam Newton doesn't have a home right now. And, he's an MVP just played I was hurt most last year, but who played more recently. So, he needs to find a home for both need to find a home. It's easy to say it now in retrospect Joe Locke Art. Where were you three years ago? I, come on like Bergman. There's no way that her. Again I get it and I'm glad that Joe Lockhart said, but thanks captain. Hindsight is just an initial response to. It was pretty much one of the most ridiculous tweets that they talked about a tweet. Being ratio I mean that was just its sanity. If you looked at all of the of the the replies they're all just like all about capper nick. Just capita Kapernick it just it doesn't make sense that they would. Even I mean I get why they WANNA come out with it, and this is what a lot of teams and. MLB and fell coming out and saying things like this, but it's where it just kind of goes over people's heads because it's just the opposite of what they've been doing. Yeah. I mean I guess better late than never right is the. Do, they believe it I. Know Right like that's the thing you know what I mean like you know. I don't know man like remember. Last year. There was the workout that he he had and he didn't WanNa. do it their way because they made him sign this ridiculous release, right? That was just like that. They didn't make anyone else sign ever. With the NFL, it has come across when it comes to Colin Kaepernick like. It's come across to fold. It's come across. Like they they had succumb to pressure. From. The White House. And also that they just wanted to create some sort of dog and pony show by creating this opportunity for him. That really wasn't a real opportunity, and now I think they realize because let's face it. The overwhelming majority of their constituency is black. That now more than ever. It's like Ooh, yeah, we probably screwed that one up. and. Yes, so I I don't know if it's. Better late than never I don't know if I should be like really now it is is a very conflicting thing and I'm a person who's in the opinion business who has? Pretty strong opinions on things, but occasionally even I could be conflicted about something like this, and this is one of them like Laura, I would imagine that there's some conflict even in you like thinking about like okay better late than never, but also like. Now like three years later. Yeah the word I was looking for was opportunistic. That's fair to. That is a fair way to describe it to Yeah I. Just think it's at this point is. It was something that everybody knew you didn't need to say it and yeah. I just felt like he's taken advantage of the opportunity of the time right now and. Greg set perfectly which again I. Never agree with Greg So. Yeah, I mean Look Joe Locker doesn't work for the NFL anymore, so these are separate instances. He didn't write the tweet. But my thing is. Where was he three years ago on that, so we can open it up at eight, seven, seven, seven, ten, ESPN eight, seven, seven, seven, ten, three, seven, seven six. Also just kind of your thoughts on what we did. In the initial segment about Kareem's conversation with Scott Van Pelt, yesterday, stamping Gundy's. Thoughts on calling out ownership in sports that outside of Mark, Cuban and Michael Jordan, there's been a lot of either very bland, obvious statements right, or there have been statements where there's just not a lot of bite to them and look speaking of that. We'll get to tiger woods later, too because. I think that. He's got an interesting dilemma on his hands as well and Michael Collins who covers goal for us at ESPN. He's going to join us at ten forty to talk about that, but. I mean look I would say this I. Guess if we're doing this on a sliding scale with..

I. D. you know June eight or later we felt that that was what I looked at yesterday so it's surprising that Georgie what wants to be out in the in the leading the pack because they don't have a lot of cases they have a lot of infection is still going on big may have a a decline in the number of infections but it's still a high number itself it it seems to be a decision on a kind of political judgment rather than what an epidemiologist would say is the smart thing to do in a course if you know the the scientists don't make the decisions but they can make the recommendation that they would they would say and even president trump echoed this the Georgia jumped the gun there now as far as the stock that governors are putting into to these forecasts you mention the one from the university of Washington are these models holding pretty true over time all models you know get along let me get this is the future in the future but a couple of the read out the number marked active right but I think that that by and large what I would say that there's a newspaper reporters I've been in class that you go back just four weeks when the number of cases in the U. S. was was quite low it took but the number of deaths a lot when I drink with the twenty first of March tell me about she and Deborah Berke said we know we think there could be a hundred thousand to two hundred forty thousand deaths what kind of lead to an audible gasp among you know the whole country like wait a second because I think at that time and that the number was low so that they may have been less than a thousand I can't remember but it was nowhere near a hundred thousand well look we're good now I mean that it's it's been forty four thousand most of the people Jack in four weeks the number one killer in America so the model had said this could happen and that is what is this the leverage exactly but we do expect a decline to go down to the because of social distancing which works social distancing closing businesses closing schools that has had an effect now the question is what will happen if you reopen well the model has been basically right so far so if they say if you go too quickly and if you aren't careful about it you know if you simply open up everything that you would have a really bad spike so that's fine I thank measured you know baby steps well it comes to reopen it Joel I can **** with us on komo news reporter for The Washington Post Gordy's article online at washingtonpost dot com that's because most Taylor van sice Google's threat analysis group is now found at least a dozen hacking groups backed by foreign governments that are trying to take advantage of these uncertain times twelve state sponsored hacking groups were using the corona virus to craft phishing emails to I did it obviously to put malware on computers A. I mean I called money money. It's it's it's it was great. Yeah it was at Tennessee Georgia Minnesota and Carolina Saints over and there was another other one in there too was there now over Illinois Eleanor Illinois went with Ravens Rams over the packers Edgar's forty niners over but the the one that got me to got me. Actually although I only had Oregon one bet they were minus two. They obviously didn't with losing and then Oklahoma minus six Oklahoma has cost me so much money. Oh so you lost one of the fourteen hours with Oklahoma weight but I mean I do like ten to twenty five dollars you know so but yeah but then it Kinda makes me. Why didn't I just put a bunch of money on the one but you know when you get your all diversify with them you know so? It's frustrating That it should have have been because the ones that I loved weren't even really you know full of sweat at all. Oh I love that was so even it was kind of an animal. Call it unfair because there's plenty of times where you lose but Missouri's not GonNa beat ten Missouri could be Tennessee only played ten times like Missouri Win Five of the Times. But you know they're not going to beat beat them by I dunno if they're going to beat them one time by more than eighteen points and that's what you were getting seventeen and a half and I agree with you. You brought up on the phone. Take Texas plus twenty-five or Georgia Georgia minus one either way. You can't go wrong there because Georgia's probably going to win. Obviously but they're not going to win by more than twenty-five with the way they play and there's no in the world I was. I was going to be somebody by twenty eight points. That's a decent Illinois. The one that I thought could we did talk about it. I liked Minnesota and I had Minnesota and a lot of games. But there's the off chance that Minnesota would just is like kind of collapse but northwestern so crappy into northern PA- Minnesota's credit they came out and they dominated them My my draft King's wizard guy was like I. I said Gaga Carolina New Orleans over thirty four with that teaser. It's like I like it. He goes I just worry that Carolina might struggle the score. But I still was on it the one that he loved you and I don't talk to him until Sunday mornings when he's done all his research in this. This was super into because I love the over on the Jaguars Titans and then sure I want that and it was like sixty fifty points or something like that total score you know. Yeah so I took that straight up without the and then there was obvious under on Sunday with the bills and the broncos which you could have said before the weather but they had twenty five mile an hour August so that at that point it was it was really a lovely one. Yes Pete we've got three line changes The weather man has picked up a half point and the Nebraska game. That's plus five and a half. They picked up a whole point in the Oregon State game. That's plus twenty and producer. Joe Tried to sneak. Pass a line. That was a point in the half. Flo Navy is minus nine and a half not mice ate there. It is all right. You're lock oh well he was eight this morning. I'm just messing the job but it is nine and a half. I'm done Arkansas archetypes right. Joe Locke under Obama and Auburn under fifty fifty. No I don't know if I would. I don't know if I've been. I mean it's fifty fifty defense. I mean there's a problem with family it hasn't Auburn's lost genes Lord and Lsu Georgia Ohio. I wouldn't bet either side or total at the numbers. Three and a half Alabama. I have no idea where to go on that Illinois minus nine and a half that number changed or did that stay the same matters. Eight say so Illinois Illinois has a lock of the week so there. It is the pick six. PODCASTS WEATHERMAN FEELING IT G unit is now at five hundred five hundred gets spread red plus twenty bucks though with because I'm betting some Some dog to pressure jobs. Thirty five and forty two minus eleven forty five thirty one and forty five minus minus eighteen ninety by the way. Go ahead. And since the sweetheart teaser thing I mean like I said if you do the math on these things and you lay it out and I do have a spreadsheet where I'm now tracking tracking it for the NFL in particular so often both the over and the under and both sides will hit in the sweetheart teaser. So the numbers are slated but What am I on on college? Wise with my personal stuff sweetheart teaser. Nebraska plus eighteen and a half. Missouri's Pick Boise state minus one and a half half Michigan plus twenty and a half And then my NFL. I just went with the Thanksgiving game and then I still have the ravens in rams for Monday night. That's what I thought would be a good idea because these lines on Thanksgiving or sharp but you like to have some action out there. This could be a good idea. Used the coughing is the lions might have their third string quarterback they might just be in full on. We gotta run it mode. Saints Falcons over thirty seven. You certainly would think that would be obvious. But you know. The the the Falcons shut down the saints a few weeks ago so who knows and then the bills and the cowboys I feel best about that going over thirty three and a half. Oh I love that was so even and it was kind of an animal. But there's off chance that Minnesota would just it's like kind of collapse but northwestern so crappy into northern PA- Minnesota's credit they came out and they dominated them My my draft King's wizard guy was like I. I said Gaga Carolina New Orleans over thirty four with that teaser. It's like I like it. He goes I just worry that Carolina might struggle the score. But I still was on it the one that he loved you and I don't talk to him until Sunday mornings when he's done all his research in this. This was super because I love the over on the Jaguars Titans and then sure I want that and it was like sixty fifty points or something like that total score you know. So Watch that via ten to seven game but That's where I am on that. All right happy Thanksgiving to you producer Joe to you get to a unit yes choices. Everybody enjoy choice some family time. WHO's this guy this guy here? It is As as you get older. 'cause I'm in town for Thanksgiving 'cause we alternate holiday so we're in Georgia for Christmas but not being able to spend time with your family. The older you get the more you so You mentioned I guess like ten years ago fifteen years ago but our right. It's just Thanksgiving but you do get an opportunity to spend time with your family. I hope you Take advantage of that. At times. I agree with that Janki producer. Joe Wonderful. Pick six podcast on the inside a steel podcast network..

"Preparations are underway tonight for the first democratic debate and the twenty twenty campaign, twenty candidates you're going to face off over the next two nights in Miami. Looking ahead for us. Tiny's Jen Psaki. Former communications director for President Obama and Joe Locke Lockhart, the former press secretary for President Clinton both CNN political commentators. So Jen, I mean debates are tough enough in general when there are nine other candidates on the stage. That's a really difficult thing for candidates to navigate because they don't get much time. And it can often because of debate rules just end up kind of pong between one or two or three candidates. That's exactly right. I mean, they have sixty seconds to give their answers and thirty seconds to respond. That's a very small amount of time each candidate might only have a couple of minutes over the course of two hours. So they all are going to have different strategies, depending on where they are in the lineup right now or where they are in the poles. But for most of them, it's not about having a viral moment. That's actually really hard to do. Do. And it rarely is from a prepared line or prepared attack. It's usually from being strung on your feet or really being firm and consistent about what impression you wanna leave with voters. So is it about immigration? Is it about abortion rights? Is it about income inequality? They have to be disciplined. I think many of them will be and really think about what they wanna get out of the debate, because they're going to have very few minutes to your point to really to make their impression. Drew for vice president Biden, how big of a test you think this is going to be for him, especially given the fact that he's largely voided sit down interviews and, you know, he's given some, some long speeches. But again, this is a much different situation. Yeah. I think he's advantaged by exactly what John was talking about this. This is this is more like cable TV interview where you have a minute. I'm been in a half. And then, you know, you just you try to work your way in rather than a formal debate that you'll see in the general election. So I think he will focus on Trump as I think, a lot of the candidates will be he has to pick out a couple of issues that he wants to hone in on, but I think the, the format the amount of people allows them to stand out just because people know who he is. Jen, do you think other candidates? Mean how are they going to deal with Biden? I mean, do you expect them to kind of, you know, play nice ignored him or go after him. I think they'll each have a different approach. So if you're Bernie Sanders, your you're thrilled that you're not on the same night as Elizabeth Warren. Because she has been a positioning herself as the progressive alternative to Biden, so he has to figure out how to position himself effectively that way. Now, he doesn't want to appear nasty, but he also wants to appear strong. So he has to find a way to balance that if you're some of the other candidates on the stage like a better Rourke, or an Amy klobuchar you really wanna make a move into the top tier. So how do you do that? You know, you leave an impression on an issue. You have a good moment. Maybe with another candidate people love the commitment to work together. And if you're some candidates like Kirstin gillibrand you really want to survive. I mean you want to make an impression that people to get to get more donations and support that you can. Make it in September. So I think they're all going to have different approaches. Most of them, I don't expect will be nasty off the bat, especially since it's the first debate I expect most of them will be pretty congenial with each other. But they'll look for moments of light contrast, especially Bernie with Biden. I think. Joey, you're talking about Biden, focusing on, on Trump. I can't imagine that they're all going to be kind of focusing on Trump because I mean, that basically would be a Greek chorus of Democrats just going after President Trump..

Does it seem like we're hearing more about tornados flooding and extreme weather? The spring, tens of millions of people have been affected by the latest rounds of storms. Is it climate change or just an unusually bad year? Science reporter Joe Locke is tracking this all for the Washington Post, and he spoke with komo's Tom hutler. As far as. Tornadoes. How does this your stack up against previous years, seems to me at least a not really a keen observer, that the there are a lot more? There's been a lot. Yeah. This is a big big tornado season. It's not as, as violent as twenty eleven. You may remember that was the year of super outbreak. In the south, and also Joplin Missouri at a terrible tornado that killed a lot of people. It's not the worst year but it's one of the worst in terms of the number of tornadoes in the last on record. I think it's in the top five in terms of, of, of, of how many there have been so it's not your imagination. They've been coming every single day. For for two weeks yesterday was the thirteen day in a row where there were many tornado reports in essentially, it's it's atmosphere in a big part of the US has been perfectly primed for tornadoes, and maybe another day or so. And then we get into a calmer period, but it's been an unusual patterns. We got into the question of what's going on? And, and the answer is could be a signal. Climate change in the jet stream is acting strange. These huge Trost come down into the templates zones. You had this high pressure blob of, of warm air up in near Alaska. The Arctic sea ice is, is down by three quarters of what it used to be. Thought that all the heating, Arctic, call the melting of the ice in this mid Weena warm blob of air up near Alaska derange ING, the normal Jetstream and causing this pattern in which the these weather, get a lock did. Maybe if I get verified give you some Twitter checks is that how that works. Well, look, speaking of mock dress not being popular as we go into this NFL draft for a week away. Do you have any final thoughts on this QB class before we talk about the main topic of the show, which is going to be the NFC south quarterback rooms run the league last time. We did the NFC east. Maybe I can kick start your brain ball by citing the latest mock by Daniel, Jeremiah this was released. April sixteenth in first off something eagles related. Real quick DJ has the eagles taking Markey's Brown wide receiver from Oklahoma at twenty five overall be the first to say that I don't love the pick. But I wrote a piece. For leading relation dot com. Talking about the sit and how I feel better if they utilized him in the slot more often than he was at Oklahoma, which would insert alleviate some concerns about him not holding up his contact route the route in at the catch point some stats at expand on that. To what your whistle before you go read the article Brown only ran twenty three percent of his routes from the slot last year, but on those eighty five snaps he had forty percent of his targets. Forty three percent of his receptions, forty eight percent of his yards. Eight of his ten touchdowns came from the slot. A QB rating of one forty eight point to win targeted. And and this is boxers seven point four five yards per route run from the slot more than two full yards than second-place crazy officiant when they moved them inside. And I would hope if if the eagles to draft him that's where we'd see most of his snaps, obviously that would be a referendum on Nelson Agla of Houma fan. But he's unless your contract in my personal feelings aren't taking into account in the war room. Even though we know how. How eve and Joe Douglas are avid listeners of the feet. Okay. Mark. I got you here. So let's talk quarterbacks at number one overall. Daniel Jeremiah has the cardinals taking collar Murray from Oklahoma, no shock there at number six, and this is the drain. It's only better if they package six and seventeen trade up. He has the giants taking Daniel Jones from Duke a plus on that DJ, I think the big surprise. But not really because I talked about this with the foles market before he officially walked in free agency. But at eleven overall the Bengals take Dwayne Haskins of Ohio State and DJ had one more bullet left in the chamber this one spicy number thirty Green Bay Packers. Drew lock from Missouri is the pick. Which man, oh, man, Mark. I cannot wait to see the thirty for thirty on that quarterback room fifteen years from now let's deal with that one. I because it's not outside the realm of awesome -bility the Packers go quarterback and the Joe Locke there if he falls because they. Met with him. And the interesting thing is there's an argument to be made of the Packers should be thinking quarterback. And I know that sounds almost sacrilegious, right? It's Aaron Rodgers. It's the one of the most talented quarterbacks the game right now. But if you look at recent production, ROY Moore, accurately lack thereof. There's a case. Scott barrett. Does work over pro football, focus. He looked at depth adjusted completion percentage something by by Klay back in two thousand thirteen kinda strips away. Throwaways batted asses plays with quarterback was hit the throw at a treats drops as completion. So they just the completion percentage. And then what they do is then examined that contrast with expected completion percentage by death. For example, last year, the guy that was the best in this drew Brees at completion percentage, this adjusted completion percentage of eighty three percent against the expected completion percentage again adjusted sale of seventy five percent, which is an eight percent jump. Biggest in the league. Now Aaron Rodgers his adjusted. Present you with seventy four point four against the expected of seventy three point two above just one point to present. I is not doing that much to really create stuff who is on par with that..

"Pelosi because we're all getting it. The mole report drops within twenty four hours after it's being planned after already being planned, regardless of what the report is. We'll tell you what the Democrats plan on doing with the report and with the Republicans plan on doing and that's a big pivot so far when the MO the report comes out. I know one thing certain people who just despise or hate everything about Donald Trump. Some who are opinion people Rachel Maddow, and others who pretend not to be like wolf Blitzer will find a way to say that the president's really guilty. Here's an example of what Democrats are hoping for we begin with Matt out we go to Don lemon and more cut one. We'll get this report. Thursday morning, minus whatever is still being blacked out by far people think the president has already been exonerated, even though Moeller did not reach a conclusion on do you think that the attorney general is covering anything up? I have no idea. Have no idea you want us navy whitewashing. But I don't know if you've covered anything out, well, the president United States cannot wait to get this done with evidently, there's some tension in the White House because people talk to the special counsel type at the president's mood, and what led up to this event or that event. And they didn't want to characterize publicly you heard Catherine Herridge last hour. It could be characterized publicly Don Mcgann in particular, the president's White House counsel guy, yell data watt was told go speak to the special counsel for thirty plus hours. The unit told me didn't say anything there that he didn't is not disparaging on the president who evidently yelled at him. A lot Devin Nunes weighed in on what he thinks report will contain and what he worries about cut for remember. What's what's happened over the last two and a half years, Laura, what you had is you had leaks leaks at the highest level coming from someone within the FBI or the department of Justice or just making something up out of whole cloth that the media would jump on. And I hope that we don't have that problem. I hope that we don't have an issue where there's reductions where you have people leaking out. Oh, this is what the reductions really mean. Because you we know whatever happens on Thursday. Donald Trump is a free, man. There's no evidence whatsoever of collusion. They tried to frame him on obstruction of Justice. And they didn't get him on that either. Even though they tried to frame him. So this things over on Thursday for the the American people, but the Democrats in congress are going to continue to try to investigate and my guess is their friends in the media will play partner that right? Have you listened? I challenge anybody out there. If you put an investigative team looking to you for twenty two months, and you provide a million copies in documents. And you talked to everyone who knows you does know you or as work with you. They gonna come up with negative things on you. But for those people that actually provide the negative information who consider themselves friendly with the president or left on good terms. It could be problematic. Ellie Hanoch was on CNN. Elliot's a former federal prosecutor. With the southern district of New York. Cut nine Don Mcgann who was counsel for Donald Trump for quite a while. This is getting into the obstruction piece Mcgann was inner inner circle he was there. When a lot of internal conversations happen, specifically one of the things, we know again was involved in the president wanted to fire Robert Muller, and Don Mcgann apparently talked him out of it. So Mcgann gave thirty hours worth of testimony to Robert Muller. It'll be really interesting to see what he learned. And let's see, but to tell you the truth if I don't provide if it doesn't relate to obstruction. If he says, well, one of the questions was president of got a bad temper did sometimes he curse it you the filter. So he cut you off the field. As though that he had short attention span to read the documents. You gave them that Stipe stuff that I'm telling you the L answer the question, but you don't want that out publicly. I mean, that's for the Michael Wolff to the world for the Bob Woodward's of the world to right and try to cash in on trumpeters. But I you know, if I if Alison was forced to speak for thir-. Thirty hours about me. There's a lot of those that information you probably wouldn't want to get out. Right. You're under oath. Not everything about me. Is as good as it seems right? Alison. I would have some interesting things to say. And do you think that maybe if that all came out you'd be like, this kind of embarrassing I got to work with the sky tomorrow to present? I'd be concerned about my job, right? Job. But you'd be concerned about a relationship. Right. So this is this is what they are worrying about inside the White House. Understandably, so. When you read it versus how you hear someone say something it's interpreted vastly indifferently, especially some of these anonymous people in the president's already paranoid about leaks. We never found out who wrote that anonymous editorial and thinking the Washington Post, and he's always wondering who it is. So maybe it's one of these people they went on L E Hanoch did on CNN wooded. Melbourne tend to why did he defer the decision on obstruction, and maybe we'll come up to our own conclusions. Kuttan who Dade Robert Muller intend to make this decision on obstruction? We know Muller said evidence is too close to call. You mean to defer that decision to William bar? I don't think so or did he mean to defer that to congress, which is of course, the only entity that can really do anything about it since the OJ will not indict, right. So we'll see where this goes going into talk about what's at stake a trumpeter Joe Lockhart who had to deal with impeachment with President Clinton. He was saying how bad the president. It's just a matter of time before he's led out of there. That's not going to happen. So Joe Lockhart came in talking about reading the report as opposed to everybody reading the Ken Starr report cut twelve jokingly said that I'd be getting a lawn chair a cooler appearance sitting at the end of Ken Starr's driveway. Podcast. Really? Well. I don't want the police to have to come and keep me off his property salts us. I'll read it like everyone else. Yeah. We'll see. Joe Locke went on talked about anyone who thinks this fight is finished his done. I think they misunder innocent Turpin if these four pages are as accurate as their portrayed to be. And it's just more detail about the conclusion, then I think they they misinterpret, and they misjudged the American people's interest in this case, but quote into Joe Lockhart has not done cut thirteen anyone who thinks that? This fight is finished tomorrow is fooling themselves bar made some assumptions we're going to see what's what he base that on in. What we see? But there's a lot of information that we're not going to see that. We have actually will see in some form just because you can't make a criminal case for for collusion. And and conspiracy doesn't mean they didn't do things that were wrong. Okay. And that's Joe Lockhart hoping for because he alone with the Watergate guys want to get a contract pass. When the Muller reports out, what are you going to do with call Bernstein? Now when he told us this is worse than Watergate over and over again when it turns out, it doesn't even add up to a conspiracy. And no one's found guilty except for things ten gentle to the actual investigation. And I love to see Michael Flynn be able to talk soon. Hopefully, it'll be here on the pivot point. That's what's happening. Now, there's going to be a pivot endeavor newness says now we're going to find out how this whole thing started. And one of the things are going to do is try to find out some names that play a major role that might not be household names now, but will be if America pays attention to this part of the investigation who were told wait for the special counsels port report to wrap up cut seventeen per second. Big question. You have is Josef Mifsud just of myths. It is how this whole investigation started. And let me tell you molar describes him as some type of Russian asset of some kind. Well, if Josef Mifsud was was a Russian asset. We've got big problems with our British and Italian allies because he seems to be pictured with every British and an Italian person that we know of. So that's something. We also want to know about and miss. It was the guy who set up popadopoulos he did and Joseph Mifsud it by the way was a high-ranking person with FIBA, and guess what the FBI did. So well, investigate that corrupt organization that controls the most popular sport in the world and the World Cup that's world soccer, and guess who helped on that Christopher Steele. And guess who helped him Joe MiFID, and guess who might have teamed up once again to try to trip up a president those two. Let's go out to Chris. Let's serious in California. Chris. Good morning, Brian. How are you? Good. What's on your mind? Hey, well, I was actually calling to address the fact that all the Democrats now all of a sudden wanna come run into Fox News for some publicity. How do you feel about that? They don't. Well, it makes me upset because you've got Ola nicknamed him peril. Wet Peres because she'd ever stop spinning. Perez. The DNC says. Shake on Fox News. But the all one on there. And so why don't they stand up to say, hey, we do want to go onto Fox News. No, they wanna do it around the backside. And you know, it it's on this hand in hand they're out of hand. So So Chris, you know, you watch FOX, and you listen to the radio so people don't understand about a FOX who don't watch. It. We lake surrounded argument, the two o'clock show is dramatically different than Bret Baier show that is dramatically different than Sean Hannity show. Lure Ingram is very different from Tucker show. Shannon, bream is dramatically different. From from Laura show. We have a diversity of programming everybody else's one note, just different deliveries. So when people come on people, watch your show that aren't conservative aren't independence, aren't Democrats aren't just Republicans. They get a diversity of thought. And that's the reason in my humble opinion that we're top network in television cable network in television. Not just in news. And they don't get that. Why if you're trying to be president of the United States, would you walk away from the biggest audience in the country? Would you turn out down and appearance on ESPN? Of course, not beating ESPN most months. Yeah. Yeah. You know, what it is Brian day, demonize, Trump successfully? Now, they're doing it to Fox News. And if they're successful and demonizing Fox News. We will never win another election. You guys cannot let it happen. Stand up to those biggest blizzards may be doing that. They've been doing it for at least ten years. So don't worry about it. Nothing's changing. I appreciate it. We're just going to be able to give people a diverse. You don't have to flip the channel anymore. We if Bernie Sanders hops on CNN, he gets a one he hops on with us. He gets a two point five. Why is that? Because he's asked compelling questions. He's given a platform to talk and he's got he's got a handle. This thing called follow up questions with non sycophants. One eight.

No one collecting a fee, it's essentially unsupervised, there is some law enforcement personnel. There are some services. But in essence, these parks have. They were not totally closed in this shutdown, which is unusual. The last time this happened about five years ago, you couldn't get in. But now the parks are still open. They just don't have Rangers. They don't have visitors centers in in most importantly, they don't have public restrooms. You know, they have these fault toilets that are not being serviced. Often get injured or died once the government reopens, would you expect a funding shortage as parks recover, and then have to clean up from all this unchecked access all this money that would need to be spended. They weren't really planning on. I don't I don't know how that's gonna play out. I mean sitting here in Washington right now, we don't know if this shutdown is going to go on for another couple of days or a couple of weeks or into February. I will tell you that. There's no indication that there's a deal being being it's percolating. I mean, you have this specifically dispute over the border wall and the funding for it. And neither side seems at all inclined to retreat on that. If anything it seems like the standoff, so they're going to get more intense as of tomorrow in the house becomes in democratic control. So we'll see what goes on a lot longer. I think you could have a situation where you have real damage to the parks, but at the same time, I, you know, people do treasure these places average person that goes to. National park doesn't wanna see a trash. They're not stealing things or not, you know, looting it. So there's been a real outpouring of volunteer effort in the winning that we learned in our reporting is that people are stepping forward saying I wanna help I want to help out this park. And every winter, I know from reporting here that someone's going to get lost and people often get injured or died once the government reopens. Would you expect a funding shortage as parks recover, and then have to clean up from all this unchecked access all this money that would need to be spended? They weren't really planning on. I don't I don't know how that's gonna play out. I mean, we're sitting here in Washington right now, we don't know this shutdown was going to go on for another couple of days or a couple of weeks or into February. I will tell you that. There is no indication that there's a deal being being it's percolating. I mean, you have this specific dispute over the border wall and the funding for it. And neither side seems at all inclined to the retreat on that. If anything it seems like the standoff, they're going to get more intense as of tomorrow in the house becomes in democratic control. So we'll see what goes on a lot longer. I think you could have a situation where you have real damage to the parks. But at the same time, I, you know, people do treasure these places, you know, the average person that goes to a national park doesn't want to see a trash. They're not stealing things or not. You know, looting it. So there's been a real outpouring of volunteer effort. And the one thing that we learned in our reporting is that people are stepping forward saying I wanna help I want to help out this park. There are limitations to what they can do legal, limitations, liability, limitations. You know, you can't just you know, suddenly privatized national park for the visitors centers are not going to open for a while. Joe Locke and back with us on KOMO news. He reports for the Washington Post where you can read this full story. And that is come Taylor van Cise. Joshua tree today's closed.

"Cool Deng Harrison that will Harrison the greatest Alto player coming out of New Orleans. We have a gentleman called Joe Locke vibes. But please four four mallet. And we have Mr Bernard Purdie, the they call it Bernard Purdie. Mark millet did the last of the miles Davis one after the other wisdom over wisdom every has called tension and resistance. Tension and resist reach a musical ramonic- rhythmical musical climax. You have to have this in all the competition that took me years to study when I was listening to the coming out of Kuba. You know, how they excite me? And listen to you minutes. People think of Latin music when they think of sign fact, they think of it as not as highbrow is jazz people have this notion that jazz, intellectual so. Jess play all the players put together cannot comprehend where we play the premier jazz player. Maybe they wouldn't be able to play only want Dizzy Gillespie. He took channel postal in nineteen forty seven and the conga a lot of the jazz musician, they want they want the congress that take back to the jungle. Conga rhythm section that we play. That's the most exciting with such. And when you use it with the jazz from onyx. I then you have something unique something unique because you got the various rhythm rhythmical patent. And now you got the greatest from on structures of Hamadi structure of Jess. So anyway, what do you think of music today? I mean, are you are you excited with what you hear very disappointed? Very sad. You You know? know, commercial radio only plays from the majors. You know? T- sadza. The words means absolutely nothing to me. Okay. The one who started the perspective with Tito Puente up with south Psomas begin baby. When you use those all those have their own proper names. It comes from the mother roomba. All of what we hear. You know, why? I I'm so. I chung. Have there prompted name? They just put it on the one name of sides. And then they they did success in and south several Monica, which disaster. It doesn't excite you. I recommend anybody does that take two little pillow because you're gonna fall asleep Easter Cup of the policy dancy. That's how boring the music is. The only way we can get any music is community radio, which the sadness in my heart. It is though it is the way I met you through w k are the listen to your music on wke. So so.

"Bracelet. It just means your cars incapacitated because you're in a desert dry wash respected this dry wash forced to confront your circumstances because of geology, you know, isn't exactly the same thing. I always thought there's only one place that I think driving drunk would be cool because driving is deeply uncool. Fuck do. But only one place where driving drunk would be really cool. And that's so true. Accidents accidents. Drove onto the Bonneville salt flats. Just you know, like like, you know, when there's nobody out there. What are you doing? I'm hammered grabbing on a salt flat. Basically made a movie about this had Anthony Hopkins a motorcycle in it perfect long as I don't it. Anthony Hopkins on his motorcycle. See all it's like the world would be fun like the bumper pool for drunk people. But you just put them out there where they can't hurt. Let me let them. Let them drive it out of themselves. Just to reminder for our listeners that everything set on the shutdown full cast constitutes legal advice. Hi, yeah. This is Ryan. Oh, Legos unhappy. No that they think the ad read was good on. They didn't like the part where Spencer said the one time it'd be fun to drive drunk. Okay. Well. This is this is solution. We put all the drunk drivers on the salt flat. And they all just solve the problem. Amongst each other. All right. Let's let's at least try to talk about the big twelve title game. Police. Another point when you do it was over when the new this game was over when Oklahoma was sitting on three points after a quarter because focal Homa sitting on three points after a quarter. That just means there's like a good thirty six waiting to drop on your head because you're not gonna hold them in Texas wasn't gonna hold onto to that. They're just it was a matter. Texas holdem. No, Texas, hold 'em, buddy. Got a straight this this. This game was a victory for civility. There were no unsportsmanlike taunting penalties. And that's really all that matters. In a big twelve game. Everyone respected. The Cal pictures devised by certain finger configurations until after the whistle. Blew. It's called Texas sign language. There was however one Oklahoma fan in the crowd did you'll see this guy who is making fun of Tom Herman making fun of drew lock in last year's ballgame. When Joe Locke was he's seems kind of a weird guy celebrations, pretending I think he was pretending like put on a coat or something and Tom Herman streghten up and down the sideline doing that. And then spent the season complaining about players, mocking, Texas hands. God damn the big twelve is so fucking petty so many little rules. It's like baseball big football baseball with way, more points Finney way. There's an Oklahoma fan that ESPN's cameras caught doing that too tomor. And that was a fitting resolution to the entire thing. Also, thankfully this game. Gave us the match. We wanted to see which is Alabama Oklahoma. The only offer the only offense that I think people are reasonably sure can give Alabama hell is one held by Tyler Mer right consistent. Hell not the fifty eight minutes of hell the from them. But a full sixty minutes purgatory punishment. I think that that and the citadel in the Senate outs either just shit through a tin horn, buddy citadel or Oklahoma nothing in between. It was particularly delightful to me that on the same day. So Jalen hurts comes in Leeds comeback family wins the Sandra. And of course, some segment of sports media and just sports fans on Twitter. This is what proves then not transferred when the chips are down against you. And you know, not taking me away out. That's where true champions are made. It's like all right. So if you believe that you should argue Oklahoma shouldn't be in the playoff because they're benefiting from from untoward 's both it's just such tired bullshit. Yeah.

"So are lots of the week. I'm the only person above five hundred with the locks that is that is is especially considering g units, mounting, Sunday charge. After that opening the Bockel I'm going the one in five because since the debacle of one and five for g unit he is, let's take a look, twelve and six. I mean my God, the then sixty seven percent against the number so but he's one and three hundred locks. So what does g unit have for you this week? The man is on a heater in the NFL. He goes back to the NFL and I am looking out on where the raiders stadium is being built here in Las Vegas just on the other side of the interstate out by Mandalay bay. And that is why g unit, I think because he knows where I am. That's why he's taking the raiders minus three against the Browns, the raiders certain. Really not a team getting much compliments from around the country with regard to John gruden's first few games in Oakland, they played some good teams. No question about that. They've played some teams with winning records, fell to the Rams that thing was close before the Rams Paul, the way they had a win in Denver that they blew right in the final thirty seconds. And then this past week, the surprising Lee undefeated Miami Dolphins, they were right there to win that one as well before the dolphins pulled away late. Well, this time it looks like g unit thinks they are going to get it right, even though the Browns are currently America's team with Baker Mayfield g unit doesn't see it happening, and he's got Oakland minus three against the Browns as his lack of the week, my lock of the week is a game that I've already mentioned it a game. It's already been picked and I don't like it, but sometimes it's going to happen. I really don't like it. I'm ingredient with producer Joe, but with him on a play and that is the Ohio State Penn State over. Over seventy and a half. I love this game. I think that this thing is is going to be upper eighties and and I don't know how it's not unless there's some kind of weather situation that I'm not aware of scientists state that one just being absolute. Somebody could be in the fifties type of game. And I don't see how it's not so state Penn State over seventy and a half. It's not producer Joe's lock. It's my lock, Ohio State Penn State over seventy and a half and producer Joe. He's got a lock, and there's some value to the producer, Joe Locke fade. You just have to know what the wolves are order to do that. But this week he is not on soccer is getting extra pizza. There is no soccer. He's fading k. state might be something to be said for that. I think people in -ticipant case date being one thing and so far they don't look like it. And now Texas kind of looks like a decent team after the odds start to their year by losing it Maryland. Texas three in one case state to and to it's a two thirty starts Saint Louis time and producer. Joe is on the longhorns minus eight and a half at k. stay kind of an obscure play, I think. But I'm anxious to see if it works out for producer Joe. He's got Texas minus eight and a half. So g unit on the Oakland Raiders minus three against the Browns. I am on the over of the buckeyes and Nittany lion, great weather about half great weather in it's it's at Penn State, right? Yep. Sixty seven and sunny. And and producer, Joe is on Texas minus eight and a half against state. So there it is. I am anxious to see, you know, last week I was, you know, I was. I was I was in a prime position gangster Pete to have a monster week, taking a look at the plays. I have battery against yours. That was that was a half point cover, Alabama was covering until like the final two minutes the under..
