"Print that money and then give it to the treasury Although it's not backed by any real value whatsoever We're gonna do that while we're chasing products that don't exist because we're simultaneously going to pay people to not work to sit at home to not produce products People would need to buy with the money we just produced So Joe you want to produce money but not stuff Yes Yes I do Don't worry hunter will take care of it He will do his blowhole and he'll do a few paintings and people will buy the paintings and suck up the extra money with his blowhole art exhibit Maybe in between in between bong hits or whatever it may be and trips to China hunter a blowhole a few paintings it'll suck up the extra money so don't you worry about that And everybody was like because no one has any balls to stand up They were like okay Joe it sounds like a good idea Let's print money and then pay people to stay home and he was like I got another good idea Again this was during the first 5 minutes of his presidency when they gave him a vivor in or whatever to get awake when he wasn't wedding himself or whatever it may be And they said Joe I got another idea When we're done paying people not to work and imprinting money people to buy stuff that doesn't exist which will explode inflation How about this You know that thing we call the southern border Let's just pretend that doesn't exist and give a speech inviting everyone to come here and then when they come here we'll fly them around the United States and to into towns across the United States and pretend nothing happened And nobody will notice don't worry And Joe was like that's a great idea That's it Let's do that too Let's definitely do that too And then this little thing out of the way called the Fox drone where they had a drone up at the border and everybody saw like 50,000 people underneath the bridge and they were like wait who are these people Are they tourists Because there's an actual point of entry where you'd enter you know airports ports and regular border crossings And that under the bridge thing with the tens doesn't quite look like Joe was like no no that's it That's what we need to do So I want to thank Joe for those two things He is definitely I mean Jim can we get a thank you card to The White House please Okay you put that to take a picture That's when you put it Thank you We'll send it to the wedding Please do Jay when you and Mike please do that Thank you card I want a picture of it as well I'm serious So that's why it's on behalf of the damn bar Geno show Joe Biden Thank you very much So his inflation crisis his money printing crisis his open border thing and then he says I got another great idea too This is great He sit around a room A big thank you for this route last night And he says listen fellas I got another idea So you know we got these parents who you know did I get their kids in school and stuff Let's get the agano Merrick Garland The weakest stammering fool Can't even answer a damn question up on Capitol Hill Let's get this idiot Merrick Garland I got an idea Let's send the memo to the FBI Implying that parents who show up to schools demanding their kids get a proper education and not train to be racist Let's send a memo demanding or implying that they should be investigated as potential domestic terrorism Joe Biden's like yes damn it Why didn't I think of that get blowhole guy on the phone Where's blowhole guy Got hunter Can we put hunter on a conference call Hunter hold on hold on dad I'm sitting here with a blowhole painting Stand by hunter we got an idea We got a great idea We want to investigate parents who want their kids to get a good education as domestic terrorists Hunters like hit between bong hits He's like hold on I gotta finish this blowhole Okay I'm done with the blowhole painting Yeah oh dad That's an awesome idea Why don't we get Garland involved Son I beat you to it The AG's right here AG Merrick Garland what do you take Good idea sir Can I imagine this buffoon on the Supreme Court Can you imagine this clown So I want to thank Joe I hate to by the way you ever want to get under my skin Now I'll see people in public and they'll say this all the time Jim You added the weirdest audience every year all of the bad Thank you for your support Throughout this fight I will never forget that either The expression that drives me crazy more than any of these first and foremost I hate that I hate it It's up there with absolutely If you ever watch TV people say absolutely when they don't know what to say And if you say first and foremost I'm off the hit That's it I'm canceling you on the show I can't take it So first and foremost first and foremost I absolutely like to thank Joe Biden I'm sorry Yesterday's mask Yeah I know you're serious Joe Jim get that card ready I can send it to The White House You know just very nice Thank you from the Dan bongino show We'll take a picture We'll put a mic sign it to Sign it to okay And send it my way and we'll send it because I need you guys signature on But second another big thank you This is a huge thank you If it weren't for The Lincoln Project otherwise known as the Lenin project folks I don't know what would have happened in this election So I'm feeling grateful today because I've got such a great audience full of people You all are so fantastic It's been an honor and a privilege even just a few months I've been here and given that we got such great news yesterday I feel very refreshed But The Lincoln Project guys Reed Galen Rick Wilson aluminum hydronium techs are hydrochloric sky Some of you will get that joke Some of you won't Who's the other one Schmidt is Schmidt still in that group Steve Schmidt right It wasn't who's the other guy who signed up with them There was some kind of guy recently What would we do with it Now I'm not kidding Jim and I have you know Jim has been working diligently behind the scenes He'd been running best of the last couple days and stuff So Jim has been working but ghee the podcast producer And Joe and my wife can vouch for me here Jim you too I think because you probably heard some of the conversations being at the mic so he's live Did I not say.

"There was a computer game version. And him and i on two separate computers played each other and i just thought that was like that blew my mind back when i was a kid and so so my dad is my. That's why like i totally forgot. We even isn't that he's a gas we does. I have vivid memories. I can tell you what room in the house we were in the future. Looked like he's like. Wow and so. I think i'm gonna probably look back when they're telling me stores motor like why did we do again like. Oh yeah. that's what you remember. That was a big pivotal moment. For you it it. It's it's those are the memories you know. We had an old dnc network that we created at the old house before we moved here so this would have been. Oh ninety six ninety seven. Maybe an and i had a home network we were. I think we had cable modem at that point it was still pretty slow and We play command and conquer and the kids. We get superman. Because i'd beat them all the time and then they started beating me and i just stopped playing so i i didn't want to lose any more. But those the their one of their big memories is when we got our first. Dvd player in two thousand and we got the matrix with it. And do that was now. There's a scene in there. Where neo gives the police officers the bird you know and that happened at school with my middle one. Not just a couple of weeks. Uk he was like second grade. Maybe i it's like yeah you you can't you can't do that you can't you know you can't. You can't flip off your your teachers like the stock for better for worse. They're gonna remember. They keep in mind on both sides of his good. Yeah you mentioned being. Nc connector you said that i- acquai- nc two a. Ham radio connector. So he's still used. Bnc on certain connections For ham radio good. I've actually. I've never used it for a computer. Yeah it's a really good connection. I know easy in working for the bank at the time and they were getting rid of some old equipment and so i- bride. I had no money. And so i i brought home anything. I get my hands on and got set up. That would have been windows. Ninety five maybe windows ninety eight could have been windows. Hit i would think was probably my first time. I ever really like remember using using. Yeah my dad brought home alive. I mean he was into computers for a long time but ninety five was part of the one like i actually probably got on used. Yeah joe jim Jim shoemaker in the chat room says he he remembers using bnc for co ax ethernet. Yeah yeah there's a lot of I mean and then it. A kinda quickly changed over to to Rj forty five rj. Forty five yeah pretty fast and then we've now and then we've had cat five cat five e cat. Six and say removed are way up. Yeah all those things we've talked about here in the last five hundred shows of gadget geeks as we as we spent much time doing that so well mike pretty cool and it's it was fun when i saw that picture. It the all the ham stuff made sense. You know i was just like oh. That's cool and it's really cool when mike when your kids get into those things that you're into i don't know besides skiing. I'm not sure my kids really. We ever really had with the boys. I really ever had that thing you know with them. We were voice. Oh shepherd different time in my life so a little bit of a different person But you know then. We started skiing and that worked for a. We had two broken legs skiing. Like maybe we shouldn't. Maybe we should slow down on this thing. You know a little bit but but good to see you do in that early and of course those are memory have they'll tend to have forever. Shall i will do. It was a fun day. Are you hearing my my notifications from facebook. Okay good i'm not sometimes. This laptop doesn't get Doesn't get silenced All right mike. It's it's time to talk about fatness because fatness. Because i like i. I was at work the other day and they got they got a brand new scale. Oh cool like haven't weighed myself in a year and a half like like. I wonder where i'm at dude. It was alarming. How much weight. I've put on since the pandemic and i'm probably you know i'm probably thirty over where i was pre pandemic and i'm probably fifty off of where i want to be to be really healthy kennedy deal and i'll just be honest and that that twenty to give you know fifty to give that i thirty is pretty easy that second twenty has always been elusive. Just always right. It's okay it's a goal it's out. Yeah so i've been slowly gaining weight throughout the pandemic You naked see at pants. Fennel tighter you know shirts not quite fit. Just right those kinds of things right. And i'm sure most of you listening to this haven't had that problem at all But i saw. We've all been there. Yeah myself in front of a mirror. The other dana's okay. This this is stopping. I gotta get. I haven't. I haven't looked this. I'm it looked this big in a while so Typically my routine has been go right to work out. But i i'm i'm not that the young spry i'm not. You can't just go play hockey. Whenever i feel i it or you know. Go on a five k. or attend k. And then you know with no training. I can't at fifty three. The body really isn't designed to do that anymore in like you know. Maybe it's time to get my diet in line right. Maybe finally because i would always work out like a mad man. So i can eat like the right harverson. Yeah yeah so. I always really struggled with that so i thought you know what i'm gonna try. There's this thing called intermittent fasting. Have you have you heard of that before. He never never never tried it. I might do it. I do it by default. Kind of actually like i've been pretty bad. I have about one and a half meals a day. Now which probably isn't as healthy about every already big lunch. And i have a moderate size dinner but it kind of fits with my new style right and that's kind of no. It's just fits a protein shake in the morning. So maybe that's another half a meal right. So i don't know i like maybe sometimes actually do by accident. But you know i've never done regimented like i'm probably like you should well. Here's what i thought. And i think Jim shoemaker says says it will six words for tranformation eat better eat less exercise more in and i kind of approached it from exercise like crazy. Eat whatever you want. Those are my six words. Whatever you want yeah. Those are exercise like crazy. Eat whatever you want. That was actually for for some of us who are older. Jim fix was a runner in the seventies and that was his philosophies longer running and exercising you can eat. Whatever you want an an forty-nine. Jim fix died of heart attack so you're like okay. That's probably not the right way to go about it. And and and so i think for the first time ever mike. I'm making the switch to be like you know what before..

"Morning Christmas Eve Morning news, Scott said. We're hearing for hell. J and Brian Estrogen got stupid joke money. Coakley Raza Board, Nicolo say in the news room as well. A new survey put out by access. You guys know Axios, this is AH news service. They lean kind of left. This isn't a political story, though, but they're usually pretty easy to read. If you just know they lean left a little bit, But they put out a pole with surveymonkey. Okay, the top 10 most watched and most enjoyed Christmas movies by Americans. All right, I've got the top 10 in front of me. Want to see if you guys can rattle off some of these s O money s. Oh, just take it And I'm gonna say probably got Grinch in their trenches. Number five. You're gonna have home alone in their room alone is number three before we go any further. Which Grinch are they talking about? They're talking about the one with Boris Karloff for the one with Joe Jim Carrey how the Grinch stole Christmas. Let's see which I think is the Newest, and I think that's no I think that's the Jim Carey. What was it? OK. All right? Yeah. How the Grinch stole Christmas is Jim Carey. I've got to say Christmas vacation will be on that list. Christmas vacation is number four. So you've got 34 and five itself on the list office number six help killing us So far, you still don't have one and two. It's a wonderful life. There's number one That's a wonderful about 34th Street. Miracle on 34th Street is Number seven. So you've got one and you've got three through seven. Oh, Ralphie. Christmas story. Christmas story is number two. I watched that for the first time this year, by the way, Yeah, your head. I'm not anymore. Yeah, I loved it was fantastic. You learned in Italian word? Yes, Yes. Ready? Yes. Yeah. All right. Three more. You got 89 and 10. You guys haven't gotten the 10. Most liked Christmas movies by Americans. Um You mentioned one of them earlier kind of jokingly. Boy. Die hard. Die hard is number nine on the list. So America Thanks. Diehard is a Christmas movie. Half of America is up in arms, right? I don't think you don't think you'll get number 10 because I don't think this is classified as a Christmas movie, but I think it does take place during Christmas. Uh, it's a it's a romantic comedy type vibe. With the British lead actor. Oh, God, It's got to be. What's his name? Sean Connery's Christmas Better but the hunt for Red October? Yes. Called love. Actually, it's love actually is correct. Love actually is number 10 1 of my favorite and All we're missing is number eight. And my head to you on this one. Before we go to traffic. It was not going to be on the air. But PBS came through last minute. Oh, Charlie Brown Charlie Brown's Christmas number eight on this last day, because it's not a movie. Well, I guess the special but Yeah, It's not a really full length, so it's still is one of us. Yeah, that's the point. I am disappointed that Apple TV took that away. I'm disappointed that the peanuts people let that happen. Yeah. Right, Right. Right. Your congressman, I don't have to. Because because, 10 years ago we bought the DVD. Oh, yeah, Yeah. Yeah, I think I have. I've got the Halloween, the Thanksgiving and the great. It's great pumpkin, right? And then the Christmas all all in one little package. Yeah, it's a 22 A W b A P. Let's come back and do another stupid duck Christmas classic. But first traffic.

"Which is a huge immer mean consider in the primary. You know, in August we had previously set a record for absentee balloting, and I believe it was, you know, somewhere in the 1.6 million range, so they're almost that many still yet to be returned in the state the time around, especially the time when more people than ever Like history making numbers have already cast their ballot have already turned in their ballots. Yeah, That's right. I mean, you know, if you consider I think most I mean country why, obviously not Michigan Country? What country wide, But I mean, that's almost the case in Michigan. Here, you know, experts are predicting about five million Absentee ballots will be cast this year. You know, Typically, you know those air at least mailed in ahead of the election and so to you know Million already returned is almost half the total turnout projection. Now that's just a projection. We don't know exactly how many people voting, but certainly we're seeing huge numbers. All right, and it again it goes toward what Teo Jocelyn Benson, our secretary of state says at this point, and I don't I'm not picking on the Postal Service. I love the Postal Service. They do. Ah, fabulous job under pretty tough conditions. Yeah, they they're expensive. They lose money. You can argue a lot of things about the postal Service to me is the guy who comes and brings my mail. It's not all the people behind the scenes that have and in the management. It's the guy who brings my mail. That man or woman who brings us our mail is our postal service. So I appreciate what they do. But beyond all that You should take it in. Rather than mail it from this point on and then. Meanwhile, your second article Jonathan hosting from Bridge It is about the way things are going in Michigan. How it appears that Biden is in the lead. I'm not big on poles because they've been wrong so much. And they generally instead of really oftentimes reflecting what's really going on, they reflect what the pollsters want to go on. But that aside Is this deja vu all over again In Michigan, Jonathan? Well, it's certainly looking to be fairly similar dynamics to 2016. Of course, As you mentioned, the Poles were seemingly wrong in 26 King Donald Trump, I think on the day of the election was trailing, you know about something like 4% points a week out. He was trailing by an average of about 7% points in Michigan, and he's right there again. He is trailing about eight. Now the different According to pollsters and political experts I've talked to this year are that a the race doesn't appear to be tightening in the way it was in 2016. So even though the Poles were ultimately not spot on, they did show the race was tightening. Which we haven't seen a lot of yet at this point in 2020 and be a lot of those bulls showed a pretty large number of undecided voters still like an epic and marry pull for the free press in 2016 there last fall had 13% of voters still undecided. That number is down into the single digits and pretty much every poll. That I've seen this year, so it seems there are less people that could break late in this race. But you know I'm with you. I don't want to make predictions based on polls, especially after what we saw in 2016. They are considered a snapshot in time on not necessarily a predictor of outcomes. And there's such an overwhelming push by the extremely powerful institutional mainstream. Call them what you will media to put Biden in that position, and therefore, Harris It's astonishing. I've never seen anything like it. And you write Jonathan hosting that the president is running out of time. And the only thing that could potentially happen as if Joe Biden had a major major screw up. Well, he already has. He's completely lied to us about Hunter, Biden and the Biden family's business dealings. Acting like he's never discussed him with his son, which I knew was alive a minute, he said. It or he's not a good father and we've all been led to believe he's a very good father is played off of that a lot all of his career, But the point is Here's a guy Tony Baba Lynskey, who was featured all of Tucker Carlson last night on an interview. Very believable guy who is in that family business or was in that family business, sat down at lunch and dinners with Joe Biden. And, frankly, as I heard the story, it just lined up beautifully with the story I told months ago and continue to tell About the Bidens. It was Joe Jim and Hunter who tried to do a deal of realestate in Philly through a broker that I know And trust, and they wanted to basically launder $200,000, or cheat on taxes, $200,000 or lower the value of the homes in the neighborhood by 200,000 bike. Saying they wanted to buy the house for 800,000. That's a figure I'm just using, but they would want it to go on paper as 600,000, and they'd give 200,000 cash under the table. So this was a long time ago, and.

"Those days it tells a different story most years since two thousand thirteen those days have seen mainly quite considerable losses. But then again it's like it's all about those ten days then so it's not really. I mean it's still kind of agreement. You're saying it's just more about. It's not like this. Get Rich quick scheme some headlines and Click Bait will allow you to believe. And here's the problem and first off right great great post. Thank you for writing that out and explaining that. I think that's a really really relevant topic to have its own conversation about and here's the thing. Here's here's what we're all fortunate to do is Fred has promised me that he's GonNa come on Bitcoin radio very soon and maybe as soon as this week. So Fried I. I did see that you message me. I have not responded to you and I will But but me in federal have this conversation Jimmy V. Onto because I think you'll have a lot of honest questions for him but it goes to show that bitcoin its survival is not the question. It's how much money am I gonNA make. That's the question that everybody is really asking when they're talking about bitcoin. Going to die or not right so you know who is really a fall here. Is it the people who are Bitcoin who wanted to go up. Are they bat. Are they wrong for talking about it. Like it's GonNa keep going up. No they're not. They believe that I mean if they're honest if they're not being shady about things And they mean and they mean Things honestly when they say them to you You know intense everything But reality is reality. And the if you're a bear which most of my friends are bears because most of them are traitors because that's how they've had to survive this space you know it it. It sucks Kahad Lert. Because you'RE GONNA lose until you win and that's why if you watch how I pose when Bitcoin goes up from seven Thousand Dollars Hits Eleven K and you hear me San Ha ha. You're the idiot. I hope you were short. I hope you got wrecked to. Actually I don't really hope that for anybody whether you're short. That's not my goal here but when I get really excited I'm like bom is because everybody thought it was going to keep going down and they don't realize the gains come and they come quickly and the same way that that frejus referenced. We saw that we saw a what was a four hundred percent gain in one calendar. Are we going to be one day at one point of just a month ago go or so and I mean it is what it is by the way E cannot time. That's a great point is if you think you know you're the idiot if you think you know or or potentially you're the whale either way You still might get wrecked but I read all the charts. Don't lie so I don't know people say they can time it. Okay well Mr Charleston lie. You said if you're if you are that person you're not worried about trading anymore. You know what you're doing you're drinking your Bahama drink on the shores of some Caribbean beautiful country looking out at the sea. Not Worried about your computer. Not Worry about nothing. You just stack in sats and Drinking Bahamas. Because that's all I'd be doing the office space again. The guy at the red stapler the ended the most what what a what a superstar Bro. The most unsuspecting the guy who didn't even have a job he literally just like my in my paycheck still getting treated like shit even on the island at the end so it goes but if you think about it he obviously had a plan yes yeah he had a plan and so the most the more unsuspecting. Here's the do's probably like really freaking cool in real life right but the dumber he looks to everybody the more you take advantage of them and their strengthened. That underestimate him. Hey Fred I don't know Tom Lee personally. I would love to have him. If you have a connection with them. I would love to so feel free to reach out in on behalf of mayor. Connect me And that goes for anybody else who has an awesome person. Who needs to be on the show me? Jim Are always looking forward to to having a great gas in. This eventually is going to be a Colin show. Like where we're going to have thirty minutes where you have five minutes on the Mike and Whoever's watching is able to be like Yo Joe Jim your idiots. This is what we think. This is what I take. Hey Joe take your shirt off. No well why not. Oh because I'm I'm not taking. Why shirt off right? I don't know why I'm having a conversation myself at this point putting on chapstick says the second thing you into is. They're always going to be like Joe. Take your shirt off. Because I'm always like no please giant claim here. Our you want me to take my shirt off and for the record. I'm not the type of guy that actually I want to take your shirt off if that's what it appears as it's been a minute since I been gem so people always requesting it though Baz says is. Is this how the show works. Both of you co hosting that is correct on the live cast. Jim was on last The last podcast I was onto but I would like to think that in the future this is going to be alive morning. Show midday show whatever ends up being and And that means they will be hosting it kind of like a morning show or I. I'm referencing a the morning show kind of personality with WHO knows maybe Baz. We'll have you on at some point soon again. Thank you thank you look you. That's your that's that's another. "Foreman made a comeback. But Mike Mike Is. Mike is up there. Mike is Mike is up there so so powerful pound when you look at Fighters in all spectrum so in a wrestling show always fucking when we talk about everything talking about everything especially when it comes to the hangs happy hour POW POW who was probably either an a or in boxing. Everybody says apples and oranges. It's but still papa pal fighting fires just fighters fighting like this if you like to do the top to be bad as motherfucking boxing. MMA who would you put in boxing That's that's a hard one. I have to put Mike up there. Mike is definitely one bad bad motherfuckers. Yeah a close second. Is Roberto Durant who. That's a good one. Micky Ward is one of my favorites. You know he's he was behind. Tyson Micky Ward. Probably my second favorite boxer in that left took to the body. You know what I mean like. He was A. That's a bad mother you know. Let Talk to the buggy like and it put dude people hit to the body all the time but he put like people like Oh my God I gotta get the go-to opposite to our definitely have got he got. He was in fucked. Anybody I know I know I mean well I mean this guy. In the first two or three rounds that people was like all he's in Ward beat him the first of the first fight. Who is WHO's the unanswered? Hbo Boxing Oh aw Damnit Shit Oh my God. We're we're assholes. Yeah exactly I just anyway. You'll you'll find it you'll find it but war was God who was in fights we with Tottenham lympne Julia. Joe Jim Lampley Jim. Lampley right goes towards money as he comes out and he's just like it's and it's and he's inching toward retirement. You know what I mean. He's with the left hook to the body right. You know. It's his money money shot. Obviously it's Congress left you know The overhand right by Ramp Hendro overhand right Mike was left hook with the straight right. You know had a famous like punch Oh Yeah Yeah. The Roy Jones you had the sweep he had his fucking on sweep sweep. EPA another bad motherfucker a bad mother in MMA MMA Chuck Chuck Odell. Tito Tito Tito. It was a bad motherfucker steep of course these steep steep as bad as we speak about the St pay his last fight he had with uh-huh beautiful I say. No he said you know and good the sign. Oh He's a man he was just like my hair's astounding because like seriously like the last Y- the Joe Rogan go ooh body. I don't know if you noticed I I usually don't facebook and I said that that is probably the best adjustment I've ever seen it any fight in the history unfounded. He found the opening. They went to the court he was down for a a lot of judges would have had them in the first three rounds. If it went to decision you know he'd lost Utah. Yeah I think he would have lost my decision. Yeah but when they I went to the corner I don't know if they quarter the Mike but there was that talk about listen. He's doing something he's you. He's dropping look at it and get it and once you hit okay. I'm hit him in the once. You goes down and once they saw that one was like it was a wrap around and I said and I was at work. I'm so glad that he He got his revenge one. Because I don't want to call that the fight he would call me a fluke. The call me a bitch and Moan. I'd really disliked. Cormet did this last year. He Bitch and Moan about how John Jones pokes people on the I. If you see the the fight beforehand we. We won the heavyweight title Steepest is closed and he hits him with the hook and he drops them. You can't see you fucking is like yeah. Sure I'll continue Tinubu like a like a like a like an idiot every everybody would do right. Yeah and he can't see drops him in one round. Shin was was backward. NEEDS TO BE TOOK A. He ate a lot of shots. I was getting getting really worried. But once he made that adjustment. And you could hear the smacks. Yeah I mean it would Max on his legitimately a moment in time and I said Tame I wish it because I fell in the corner. It's just like what I like about. MMA is or at least the structure is a lot like a school. Boxing is structured. It's a box literally a box. It's you know when somebody's down there down you go down to Whitney or down right in. MMA like if if you're curled up in a ball you know it's just like the fights over your co them in ball like I'm currently the foot in school like the most people you just pray that the teacher the principal reference to fight is over. Lisa broke you lost the fight like you know he beat you up. He beat you up steep be up eventually. Yeah she ate up Daniel. I said there's a lot a lot of there's a lot of times when people don't understand the science of what it is to be in a fight because that's what everybody thinks fights like fucking especially Mayo boxing as I got him a job with the one hitter quitter and that say no there is a method to this fucking Especially when you you're you're going to the toll. What a man who knows? What the fuck do win Conor McGregor when you first chess is just moon when connor I jumped on the scene? Connor was smoking dudes around smoking. Unlike and not just not just like one hit us like all right I set you up. Boom boom boom He's not going to. I know what I'm doing. He's his hands it down. I'M GONNA knock them out and write doc them out right now. BOP BOP BOP because usually in fights you wanNA break the body now because you wanNA drop the fighter's hands down whereas in that fight. Will he also kicks Connors. Excellent with kick in the body right you know but when it comes to fight his everything is like it's either. You're going to grapple wrestle or you're gonNA find whatever and usually three invites you wanNA break down. Somebody's so that they can bring out so you could knock out well. Yeah well you know he had to do it late. In you know the the forefront is late to do that as st pack found such fucking and you saw the grimace and pain and and communists face it was Oh shit. I've never seen that before. That was we that was like a weird fucking a transition for me. He's got another fight in him. It's like a fight or two if he wins next fight I noticed bobby is talking about the baddest motherfucker should or not even weird but a bad motherfucker. Chuck this we said. We said that we talk about how about wrestling and impartial. Yeah Yeah Dad does so many stories about that Roddy Piper Bruiser Brody Odi output hockey players know brock listener dear career. Chris Jericho he's fearless. Yeah Yeah yeah he he. He'll he'll go against soon he'll go to even the biggest fucking guys Booker T. book is He's another one. Bad motherfucker Who Shit Ages? Van Damme Arby's another one who's fearless. He's a he's a guy who doesn't care and we we hold on a minute. Wait wait wait hold on right right. That's what it was the hand. I thought it was the opposite Williams. Pick a hand Kevin Nash well to me. Yeah to to me how it correlates whoops. I'm sorry did it on bring a bad memory. "Did the US women? Pour it on in that opening soccer game against Thailand. Thirteen nothing. That's like a Super Bowl. Final score of one hundred nothing. This kind of score just doesn't happen again as we have explained their circumstances that apply to this game such as a limit on substitutions and the fact that goal differential counts in whether or not you advance its tiebreaker. So it wasn't just showing off far from it talking with Tim Murray, co host of the daily line three to seven PM eastern time on NBC sports radio. And also, we have called from Sharon in crane, Missouri. Good evening. Sharon, welcome. Chin in Hello, sir to your to your guest. But, you know the. The chain. This is the first time in the World Cup. Dave were excited. They were so good and proud to be there. Now. How would they have felt? If the US hadn't brought their best game and played it and gave them respect. Of honoring them as an opponent. I think that's a great point. Right. Respect for a person for a team when you do not bring your a game and play it. I think that the shared makes a tremendous point. In fact, the US coach post-game made that that comment as well. The patronizing somebody is not a way to show respect him. Yeah. No, I one hundred percent agree and. Yeah. To to it's maybe not a fair comparison. Because this is a Hollywood movie briefly created from our from true story. But I don't know if you remember the moody movie Rudy, but he was just a walk on, was just getting beaten into the ground. And at one point, one of the pulling guards just ran right by he got mad. You don't pretend like you know, nothing you into the ground. And yeah. I think there is a sign of respect that the United States once again it's the World Cup did. This is. This is in a peewee soccer game in which the other team at superior and the other team is kind to learn how to play the game, you're going against this is the cream of the crop. Visit the best twenty fourteen Thailand had qualified to get here gifted this. They qualified make it to the World Cup as I mentioned. They were in the woke up in two thousand fifteen they wanna game, they'd be Ivory Coast three to, you know, not considered one of the premier teams in the world ranking wise, but they still qualified make it into a twenty four team tournament. And you know, it's funny, Jim, I think a little bit about the greatest basketball team ever assembled the drink came in nineteen Ninety-two, and rightfully so I mean I loved watching head team. I love reading about that team. You know what they did in their first game they beat Angola by sixty eight points. I mean, isn't that a little comparable? I mean I sixteen to forty eight. That's a pretty good beatdown, but let's face it, the, the last five players on the American roster. That year the bottom five could probably have at least contended for the bronze medal. Sure. Let's talk to is in Cleveland. Yeah. I mean seriously. Again. Pardon? There's only so much you can do. There is only so much you can do a short of just flat out throwing a game. I mean. Nobody wants to watch that. I mean, that would be that would be embarrassing. This is Joe in Cleveland who calls in. Hello Joe Jim. Could you guys? So a couple of things I used to coach girls soccer team, which is my daughters, and I m for about ten years on the same pearls that they were fifteen. And we coached I coached him in some, some club teams and pretty big tournaments. And we got our butts handed to us quite a bit of tournaments because these young and they wanna do you know. We chose to get into bracket in one, the one coach, hold out one. It was a eleven personal goalie on the field in in the one coach. Hold on girl. I do not will that out because what you're doing to me. I think there are seven nothing as you're doing my curls and showing them that, that you have, I don't want you showing day gift video, my girls, they need to learn from this. So my whole point is, is that United States going, you know, winning thirteen and nothing. I have no problem with it east girls work here tire lives. So the time they were probably four or five years, old, going up playing club soccer traveling all over the country, all over the world college, whatever it might have been to get to this point of the World Cup competing with the best in the world. Like your your guests at indigo. They had to qualify to get there just like the United States by versa. It's not United States problem that time just didn't watch the game. Because it show up. No effort. There was no effort on defense. They give enough. The people there was nobody. That's hacking anything in the United States side. So what are they supposed to do? They supposed to do you know play keep away admits the old now. 'cause now you're just respecting them that way. So it's, you know, you're gonna have your people who really don't understand Stocker itself, that are gonna say, oh, my God. This is such a disgrace. It's not a disgrace. It's part of the game. You're not playing a game in respite league. You're playing a game in world stage. Everybody's watching it. And if you don't want this to happen in the committee needs to take away the points differential dabble solve all this. That's all I have to say. I will. Thank you, by the way, for, for, for helping young kids learned team, sports and competitiveness. And all the other things that that a coach and a role model can do. I'm wondering about that, that substitution rule quite frankly Tim Murray, it would seem that. That will be honest with you. When I first heard that, I thought, why what's the point? Yes. Good question. And honestly, I think that the last caller might be more better than me. But I think mainly Jim most games you in -ticipant than to be close. And when you play a game that you need such great endurance, like soccer, I think you don't want to allow teams to just freely substitute and get fresh bodies in there. I think that's part of the strategy. If it is a close game. If it's you know, one one and the eighty eighth minute and you know if it's part of the coaching strategy to figure out what player you wanna sub in and out because after is such an incredible game of endurance where you're running the length of the field for, you know, for for ninety minutes. So I think that's part of the strategy in the mindset of blowouts is really in in that part of the substitute ferret of. All right. Thank you, Tim. Jerry, cools to the daily line three to seven PM at NBC sports dot com, their website to follow him on Twitter at the numeral one one. Tim Murray one Tim Murray back with more in just a moment. US-China Trade Talks to Resume Despite Trump's Tariff Threat

"Good morning facing a threat of higher tariffs from the United States. Chinese trade delegation tries to make a deal this week there in Washington for two days of talks before those talks could begin President Trump's administration announced higher tariffs on Chinese imports. Take effect at the end of this week these taxes, which are largely paid by US firms and consumers that import the goods are meant to respond after China allegedly backed off some of the terms of a possible trade deal. What's going on here? NPR's rob Schmitz is in Shanghai either. Rob good morning, Steve how did the Chinese delegation get into this situation? Yeah. I think it's a very complicated. And I don't envy, Leo hood, China's leading Goshi eater. He's sort of become the hapless mediator between two leaders have both have lofty expectations from these trade talks on the Beijing side appears leader Xi Jinping was behind the refusal to commit or the backtracking on commitments. We're not sure which that anger the US. There are reports that she himself vetoed many sections of a draft agreement angering President Trump who then of course, took to Twitter to announce his retaliation. So Lille has a stressful trip ahead of him. He's going to have to explain to his American counterparts. What happened and what exactly Beijing is willing to commit to? And they're going to ask the while the clock is ticking significant terrified that will likely have a big impact on global market. I wanna understand how much pressure China's actually under our chief economics. Correspondent Scott Horsely has noted for us that when these tariffs are charged. It's actually US consumers and businesses that pay most of the cost not China. But even with that being the case does China face negative. Effects from all these tariffs. Of course, it does. It's a global economy, and these effect all imports coming from China exports from the Chinese perspective and at the same time. China's economy has been slipping lately the auto industry has slipped twenty percent alone. So it's not great timing for Beijing. Okay. So they've got economic trouble. And even if Americans consumers pay the price, they might buy Chinese goods overtime. So how all of this being described the general public in China where there's not a free media. It's being described it with a lot of caution China's government controls the media Twitter's blocked and Beijing has been working hard to ensure the news of Trump's angry tweets threatening more tariffs were nowhere to be seen this week. And social media sites were deleting any mention of them, I went downstairs from the NPR bureau today to talk to people on the street to try and get a sense of what they knew about the negotiations. Most people I spoke to answer my questions like this gentleman. He's a Forty-five year old, man. His name is Joe, Jim. I

"And it needs you need to find something new to spend your time to do. Yeah. And also the socialization aspect of it. Yeah. Most people as they work at a company their best friends their closest friends developed from work. It's the guy they have they have lunch with everyday that the group of guys they have lunch with whatever you do that. You have the commonality of theme of something in common. You're all working at this company. Accomplishing something you can either. It's either the the something in common where you gripe about the boss, or you whatever you have in common that that you do. And what happens when people retire is that set of friends it gets cut off it changes. You may think will you know, me and Joe Jim and this group were against a friends, even though I'm retired. And they're still working, and you do stay friends nothing happened. But the things you have in common tend to fade and that friendship tends to weaken overtime just from oh spending time together. Also, you may get together and go to lunch with them. And they're still talking about everything that happened that day at the office in also. Sudden you begin to feel left out because you're just not included you weren't there experiencing with them. And so you can have you can get depressed from that. So a PHD whose name I'm going to mess up. Robert de LA Montagne is the author of the two thousand eleven but they're retiring mind, how to make the psychological transition to retirement what he put very bluntly as people go through hell when they retire. And they'll never say a word about it often because they're embarrassed the cultural norm for time. It is that you're living. They good life. Yeah. And I think a lot of things go along with that. It comes back to everyday you starting at eight fourteen fifteen or eighteen or twenty two whenever you started working. What happens quite often is you've you've been trying to accomplish something ever since you first started to work the goal of working was you should have been just enjoy work in front pleasure in it. But for some most of it was to pay our current bills into set aside money to pay for our future bills meeting our future bills of retirement. And so you've worked and worked and you've accomplished that at once you've accomplished that. At age sixty five or whatever it is. And you retire then in many ways people feel like I have nothing left to accomplish accomplishment or over. Now, I'm going to have the the best yard in the neighborhood. My grass will be greener. I'll focus on that. Will that kind of gets old after a while? In. So you wind up getting getting depressed for a little bit. Until you find something that you're excited about used about. And then you begin to move forward and the joy, your retirement more. I think that's a huge thing. You know, you really just give yourself time. If you think about it your first job you had probably in being your career. You took some time he'd tried out different jobs, you had different experiences, and you from their kind of learned what you wanted to do for your career. And hopefully retirement will be the same thing. You know, just give yourself time and really figure out what you want to do. And how you wanna spend your time in roads to be honest with yourself in that all that being said, here's where we can assist you in the process, making sure that the financial part of your retirement is intact. And that you know, how much money you can live on how much money can spend how your money should be invested. And we can help you with that where the all the other things.

"Early dementia, and possibly would be going into Alzheimer's. What's your trading have any help for those kind of people? What what kind of question, they're all their number of different kinds of dimensions, Alzheimer's dementia Parkinson's dementia, and what's called nonspecific dementia. They're all characterized by loss of alpha waves and progressive replacement by the and then delta as function intellectual function deteriorates now in nonspecific dementia. There may not be an underlying disease course, it may be that the blood vessel simply aren't dilating. Well in a case like that people can have almost complete recovery by learning to increase their away. Which of course is the problem once out throw sclerosis sits in the office starts to slow by eight tenths of a hurts for every ten years of life. And once it drops off the lower end of eight hurts people quickly enter senescence analogy often dies in there after. Now in both Parkinson's dementia and Alzheimer's dementia. The same thing is happening. And if you do brainwave training for those people you can have some Elsa training, you can have some restoration of function. But eventually the underlying disease course will bring the person down. So would have to have an approach where you would also treat the underlying condition as well as treating the loss of alpha. Interesting take on that. I mean, did you learn all this by trial and error? Jim. Well, I've been doing this work in a professional way since nineteen seventy one. So even if you're not a very bright bulb. You know, you just keep at something. And you get good. Thanks, joe. In Long Island, New York. Joe Jim two quick questions of all you look at colleague Simon after all these years. She's still gets stage fright, and I'm wondering what you would say about her is she because obviously people like affords, but to see have imposter syndrome pretender syndrome where she doesn't feel. She's calling Simon the second question would be about. You know, you're talking about extreme swimming himself and metaphorically speaking to some people, they're extreme sport is like coming up for you know, what they do regularly is like they feel like just consigned, and you know. Something that would be considered rescued too. Many people like surfing, forty thirty ways skydiving to them. It's like coming up for fresh air. Okay. Let me come on. Both of those the stage you have executive here. Well, it turns out alpha is like a silver bullet against eighty my doctoral. Dissertation was studying the effects of alpha training on reducing -iety that work led to a publication in science magazine. Seventh day of the seventh month in nineteen seventy eight and so I have a chief to the highest level of peer review possible for scientists by getting my publication alpha reduces anxiety. I also wanna large quarter million dollars federal grant, entitled anxiety and aging intervention with EEG also feedback. L increases both reducing Zayed's and they reduce aging in the brain more than that, they reverse aging in the brain. So anyone who's elderly anyone who has stage fright or any kind of fear anxiety would benefit enormously by doing the also training now about the extreme of swimming long distance underwater, swimming, I started, you know, in grade school swing across the pool short way, and then you know, twice and then three times and then the length then the link twice the length three times. And so I trained myself to hyperventilate now it turns out that have what's called the diving reflex. And when you throw a mammal into the water, it shut its body responds by reducing blood flow to the body and increasing blood flow to the brain. So if you hyper ventilate and go underwater and try to swim a long time, you will get bigger blood vessels feeding the brain. This is the one. Thing that a parent can do to significantly increase the IQ of their child after it's born by getting them to do long distance underwater, swimming, you could also have the child practice breathing exercise. But it's more fun than challenging to see. Can you get all the way across the pool? Twice. Can you do the length once twice three times? We're gonna come back in a moment and take final phone calls. "Bafta heart. How're you doing today? Thank you. Calling. My question is concerning a person who has. Early dementia, and possibly would be going into Alzheimer's. Which trading have any help for those kind of people. Oh, what a what a kind question, they're all their number of different kinds of dimensions, Alzheimer's dementia Parkinson's dementia, and what's called nonspecific dementias. They're all characterized by loss of alpha waves and progressive replacement by data and then delta as function intellectual function deteriorates now in nonspecific dementia. There may not be an underlying disease course, it may be that the blood vessel simply aren't dilating. Well, in a case like that people can have almost complete recovery by learning to increase their alpha waves, which of course, is the problem once atherosclerosis sits in the office starts to slow by eight tenths of a hurts for every ten years of life. And once it drops off the lower end of eight hurts people quickly, enter senescence incivility and often dies in there after. Now in both Parkinson's dementia and Alzheimer's dementia. The same thing is happening. And if you do brainwave training for those people you can have some Elsa training, you can have some restoration of function. But eventually the underlying disease course will bring the person down. So he would have to have an approach where you would also treat the underlying condition as well as treating the loss of alpha. Interesting take on that. I mean, did you learn all this by trial and error? Jim. Well, I've been doing this work in a professional way since nineteen seventy one. So even if you're not a very bright bulk, you know, you just keep at something. And you get good. Thanks Joe in Long Island, New York. Joe Jim two quick questions. Joseph all you look at colleague Simon. After all these years. He's still gets tremendous stage fright, and I'm wondering what you would say about her is he because obviously people like affords, but the see have imposter syndrome pretend to syndrome where she doesn't feel. She's calling Simon the second question would be about you know, you talking about extreme swimming and south and metaphorically speaking to some people they're extreme sport is like coming up for him. You know, what they do regularly is like they feel like just confined, and, you know, something that would be considered rescued too. Many people like surfing, forty thirty ways skydiving to them. "Is joining us in El Paso, Texas, where the. Homeland security secretary Kirstin Nielsen is expected. There with you. Yes. So she'll essentially personally oversee the deployment of seven hundred fifty more customs and border protection agents who are coming here to the area to help with the logistics of what she says it's been a major surge an influx of migrants coming into the country through the ports of entry. But also to the unsecured parts of the border as well sort of backing up, but what the president has said making her presence known here in order to see that done here over the next few weeks. More personnel will be coming here and not only to watch the points between the ports of entry. But also to process the paperwork on thousands of people who showed up here in the interest of the last few weeks. Joe Jim, do you get a you get a sense of frustration? I do and let me explain I'm frustrated that it's difficult to get a clear answer whether or not there is a crisis and emergency at the border. I wished that wasn't a political answer. But we could just get a real answer as to whether or not there is an ongoing. Crisis. There. Well, you're right. To if you look at two different scenarios here. The president says the crisis involves people coming across the border between the ports of entry that that's a crisis people's slipping into the country illegally and then making their way off into the into the heartland of the country. That's the crisis he points to others here. Those who oppose the wall etcetera. Say that the the crisis is a humanitarian crisis the thousands of people who are sitting here with with questionable food and water trying to find a place to shelter. They make their wins the country at the porch. So there really are two different scenarios. And I think it is a critical question Joe is there a crisis humanitarian crisis is there a border crisis. I think it depends upon your political leanings to say, yes, or no ABC's Jim Ryan who's joining us this morning from El Paso there at the border with Mexico. Six thirteen now on Orlando's morning news. This is your Washington watchdog, Jamie Dupree. You're listening to six AM expanded newsfeed on news ninety six five WDBO. Good morning. "Nine degrees in Goodyear weather, brought to you by Howard air whether replace or repair, call Howard air. I'm Bob McClay on Arizona's news station. KTAR news. Get some perspective. Bruce St James and Pamela Hughes. KTAR news on ninety two three FM. You probably grew up. Maybe like I did there were some rules. We we did not talk to shredders, right? And we did not get into cars with string right right now. We have an app that allows a stranger to come and bring a car that you can get into how the times have changed, and it is fundamentally changed here in the last couple of weeks when the concern for the safety of the rideshare drivers Uber and lift I realized with some smaller ones. Let's stick with those. We can call it. The Lubar the Uber and lift drivers who tragically in ten P a lift driver was stabbed to death by who then stole her vehicle and was caught. And last Friday think early morning middle of the night. An Uber driver was stabbed had his throat slashed by a passenger after he when he was dropping him off at his destination. Yeah, you know, what? And there's been so much discussion about the safety of riders passengers in your driver day. Oh, yeah. Talked about how you know what I do. They find my friends, and I share my location with my husband when I get into an Uber or left. I said behind the driver because it's harder to reach back and get me. So like, I think of it as a passenger. But this last week, Bruce with these two horrific stories here in the valley has forced me to put myself in the position of one of these drivers. And what are these drivers do to protect themselves? Well, lift has a strict no weapons policy. Uber doesn't allow drivers or passengers to carry firearms. But does allow pepper spray and by putting myself in the position of these drivers? I say I got to protect myself. If I have if I want to put a gun in the glove box, for instance, lift canal, the only time they're gonna now is if I have to use it, and if I have to use it, it's because I'm protecting myself, and you can get as mad at me as you want and tell me I can't drive for you. Again, I'm walking away with my life. That's all I have to say I wanted to hear the what Uber and lift drivers and taxi drivers as well. What are you guys? Do. Do you protect yourself? Do you have something in the car to protect their strict, no weapons policies, but do people actually follow them. We'll get some really interesting calls on our open mic line. Bruce. Stop your Mesa drive should be able to carry weapons. I drive for over in the fall. And there's been to many times within the last two years that I've had any incidents with passengers. I have been getting back your head with a fight. We should be able to carry. You never know who you're going to pick up. The discussion needs to be is. What's the next step how they getting involved this and make it where it makes sense where everybody's benefit. My name's Billy. Joel Jim Bob from Chandler. And I carry a small knife in my car when I'm driving for lift. I don't care what their policy is. But I want some sort of protection, I'm not all that great with a gun. So I'm not gonna try and protect myself that way. I appreciate the Billy. Joe Jim, Bob. Yeah. Well, I mean is that. And I'm still not one hundred percent clear on Newbury, and lift do they allow any sort of personal? We know that Uber does allow for pepper spray pepper spray. Okay. Yeah. This is Alison I drive for lifts and cherry juice, self defense items. Okay. I won't say what they are. But you're enough. Yeah. I keep myself protected by name is Robert. I'm a bakery. I've been driving cabs. Live an Uber for twenty years now. Okay. I'm always armed never really had to concern myself with being armed following the policies discounter.

"The broker and Lynch syndrome screening and prevention are very important as we're going to outweigh the risks of breast cancer and in Lynch syndrome colon cancer. Tell us more about the healthy Nevada project itself. Take us back before 2016. How did you put it all together? Why did you take on this massive project? What what was the the fire under you going? The way will came about was very simple conversation. I got introduced to the principal investigator. Joe Jim ski who is a scientists data scientists desert research institute, and we had a Cup of coffee that we're both from New Jersey. It was a Saturday morning. And I learned with desert research institute is you learn. Around health and together, we came up with this idea that well, if you took our rich environment of clinical information and combined it with the great science of environmental data that had we might look to understand the environmental impact on health and disease. And then a couple of coffees later to conversation said the one dimension that we were missing was genetic and social data, and we put those into this data warehouse and Joe's team of data. Scientists now are analyzing the data using artificial intelligence methods and computer learning science to find friends and patterns in our health these states. You know, we've had our guest before a couple of times, and you made clear then as you are now that you really want renowned to be recognized as a leader not not just in healthcare in northern Nevada. But nationally, how will the healthy Nevada product help further that goal there's not another community base genetic testing project going on the country. We're scaling the community away that we're right now we will be about ten percent of all of the people in northern the value will be tested our goal. So that we can get the statistical significance is Theresa twenty percents threshold also being very purposeful about the kinds of people recruit. So that the data set that we evolve mirrors the kinds of conditions that we see proportionately in the community. You know, we're going to get your face to in a in the next segment, but I want to emphasize that the excitement goes well beyond beyond renown. India? I wanna state and again ten thousand north. Nevada and sign up for phase one in just two days. And I'm not gonna give it away yet. The astounding sign of result. You've had the the the new phase. But you're excited. Dear is excited. But the whole community has really gotten excited about this the real heroes in this are the participants those people in northern Nevada who put their hand up and said, I want to be part of something bigger not only for me and my family, but how can I contribute to understanding the health and the health care needs of our great community have a pioneering spirit about them. And it comes through.

"I want you to think about this most podcast if a very similar guest experience. That's because most podcast. We do our interviews remotely, and that means a connection via Skype. It means that your guest is in the exact same place for the interview with you that he would be if he were doing an interview with me or Joe or gym or Bob he's got the same scenery same stuff going on around him. So that's not very memorable. Also. And this one's on us. Guys. Most hosts aren't very good. That means they likely talk about the same subject with their guests, and that's not necessarily bad. But a lot of them have the same hook. The same questions. Tell me how you got started. What's one, quote that you find motivating if you start all over and live your life again? What would you do differently? Those aren't that questions within context? I certainly ask those questions at times. But when you've got a guest, and you're asking those questions, I'm asking those same questions. Joe Jim and Bob are asking those same questions, it's not very memorable. And that's what we're talking about. You want your guest to have a memorable experience with you? There million ways that you can stand out. I'm gonna give you three quick ways to do that right now one in this is so obvious. It's not rocket science. It's get the interview up quickly show up on time. Be prepared have your together. Ida guy reach out to me about doing an interview via Skype ready for it. I'm excited about it. Call him up, and sometimes you call somebody will have technical issue. Maybe sometimes the Mike isn't working that happens from time to time. But you know, what this guy was doing? He was. Eating breakfast. A hold on a minute. I'm just finishing my breakfast. Hey, man. Didn't you know that I was going to call for this interview? Maybe I should call back when you're not so hungry and that puts me in an awkward spot because I've got interviews booked back to back. I've got other things that I need to do. I wanna get you. Great information. But you're not giving me enough time to give you great information. You told me that you need at thirty minutes.
