Kyle Rittenhouse Is Exactly the Kind of Enemy the Left Wants to Create

"If you show up to a rally or you show up to a city burning while the National Guard is not there and the police have been told to stand down and you defend yourself because someone's trying to kill you and that someone trying to kill you is a child rapist? You're gonna get tried for first degree murder in your family has to go into debt to try to defend you, which we're seeing right now with Kyle rittenhouse. And by the way, if this was 1892, and it was the KKK trying to take over a city, and it was a black 17 year old that took a gun to go to the burning city. We would have like a national holiday to that young man. Seriously. Not saying that's what we need for Kyle, not saying we'd like a national holiday, but I'm saying that it would be everyone would say this is the most amazing heroic thing I've ever seen. But instead, let's just be let's just be as blunt and honest about it. Kyle rittenhouse tracks a box of the type of let's say enemy they want to create. And we saw this earlier with what happened with the Nicolas Sandman case. You guys remember that the Covington kids? Remember the Covington kids? Where Nicholas Sandman on the steps of the capitol with that lunatic came up with the drum and started banging it in his head, and his head was his face, and we were told that the young kid was the one that's provoking and saying racist things, total lie. Totally exonerated one his lawsuits. But no, the thing that Kyle rittenhouse did wrong is that he fit the perfect type of archetype where Joe Biden came out and said that Kyle rittenhouse is a white supremacist. Said that on Twitter, hope he gets sued for that one day in civil court. There is no evidence of that. But instead, here is the essence of it is that there was a picture, the same thing that happened on the southern border when you had border patrol agents on horseback, and they said, oh, they're using whips to go after migrants, total lie, it's called a bridle or saddle. You ever ride a horse before New York Times weirdo, right? And of course not. Never even west of the Mississippi River, let alone ever mounted a horse, right? No, it's a whip. No, but all they have is the narrative. So Kyle rittenhouse, they had the picture they wanted. AR-15, mouth wide open, young, white, Trump loving, a green shirt and hat backwards, looking like he's kind of playing the insurrectionist. Boom. Put him in

"Yeah you want to know what the impact has been Already Already as a result of the vaccine mandates and be mindful that the Biden administration over vaccine mandate is unconstitutional as of right now Stayed in federal court deemed to be unconstitutional pending additional legal review Yet just the threat of it along with sell out companies taking the opportunity to force the hands of their employees You know what the impact has been 5% of the workforce We've lost 5% of the workforce Specific to vaccine mandates now let me ask you how stupid is that Really How bright is it that we blow out 5% of the workforce Over a vaccine

Brian Mudd: Joe Biden's Low Approval Among Young Voters Is a Generational Opportunity for Republicans

"If you go back and really take a look at the data he's been underwater with voters under the age of 34 since early June But you might imagine that the real falling out that's happened here of late That's been driven by the youngest voters These vaccine mandates I do think they play a meaningful role here You know vaccination rates are lowest wear Their lowest youngest And it stands to reason that those who've opted not to obtain a vaccine for their own health reasons and considerations up to now Don't take kindly to being threatened with their careers when they're just starting to make their way in the world And take care of their family grow a family And so what actually is happening here Is a generational opportunity It's a generational opportunity And it's a generational opportunity for Republicans if they get this right You know I'm the real life walking talking Alex B Keaton You know you take a look at the 80s and in loving Reagan was a thing It was a thing for millions in my generation He is the primary reason That those of us that were products of the 80s the gen xers tend to be more conservative than boomers or

Joe Biden's Approval Rating Tanks in States He Won During Presidential Election

"You know one of the great frustrations by people who understand things in life is how in the world somebody ever could have voted for Joe Biden as president of the United States and secondarily how there could still be people in this world That defend him Now there's no mistaking that there are large swaths of the population That still are in that place But I'm here to tell you Not only is most of the country not in that place which based upon his overall approval ratings for quite some time you knew But I want more for you Did you know that in the overwhelming majority of the states that Joe Biden won The majority of people think the way that you do now The overwhelming majority queso I've researched President Biden's approval rating by state And on one hand results not terribly surprising to me Because his approval rating is underwater In 17 states he won last year I will repeat because this is a big deal in and of itself He's underwater net disapproval more people that disapprove of his performance than approve of his performance and 17 of the states that he won last year

Remember When Biden Killed Domestic Oil Production to Rely on International Sources?

"Joe Biden came in and immediately killed the Keystone XL pipeline killing thousands of high paying union jobs It's about energy and dependence And then he okayed the Russian oil and gas pipeline going to Germany because that helps out Russia and Putin Remember Hunter Biden got three and a half $1 million from the wife of the mayor of Moscow but pay no attention to that That's not a news story No controversy there He okayed the pipeline had undermines NATO because NATO was stood up was created the North Atlantic Treaty Organization to stare down and oppose Russia and the Soviet Union And that's Vladimir Putin is doing what he can to reconstitute the Soviet Union which he called the collapse of the Soviet Union The greatest or one of the greatest tragedies of the 20th century All that good stuff So he's helping out Russia and Putin and undermining NATO by okaying the gulf what Nordstrom two pipeline And undermining the United States and energy independence by doing away with the Keystone XL pipeline and all those thousands of union jobs They lie to you about how many jobs were involved And no there were only 7 jobs They literally came up with ridiculous numbers like that Well now a new story popped yesterday not because of the funnies at The Washington Post or anything But a memo was uncovered And the Jake Sullivan the national security adviser to the current president of the United States On the need for reliable and stable global energy markets And now you see the Biden White House is going to OPEC The organization of petroleum exporting countries And that would be Saudi Arabia to Venezuela and a number of countries in between And they're asking OPEC to increase

Unpacking the Single Worst Poll for Democrats With Pollster Richard Baris

"With us right now is a friend of mine and he reached legend status in the Pantheon of heroes of the Charlie Kirk show as he went to like two a.m. on the night of junkins win and the near win in New Jersey. He's a good man, big data poll, he's smarter, and better looking than Nate silver. It is Richard barris Richard. Welcome back to the Charlie Kirk show. Hey, Charlie, thanks for having me on. Happy Thanksgiving. You too, every time you know I have to mention Nate silver. It's important. So it is. You guys came out with some very compelling new polling, what's going on? I want to go piece by piece. So go through it methodically, the floor is yours. So, you know, the birds eye view here, Charlie, is that the issues are just really coming around to bite Joe Biden. Come on, your show, others, and I've been saying this for months that Joe Biden's approval rating in the beginning of his presidency was artificial. And what I meant by that is that he never received time marks on any issue except for COVID to include the economy and that once it became clear that COVID was a pandemic, and the president did not have that much authority over a virus particle that that would be an impossible campaign promise to keep, and he would begin to collapse. As that has happened, some votes his numbers. So now for the first time, we do have them below 40, 39.8, which is we always do decimals. And that is, you know, trending right along with his COVID approval, which is now a majority disapprove. And he's barely struggling to be in the forge. So Richard, who the heck are these 39% of America that thinks Biden's doing a good job? Yeah, you know, there's most of them, honestly, are Democrats holding on, even though there was definitely fracture this month in his approval among

Dine-and-Dashers Abduct, Assault Waitress Who Tried to Stop Them, NJ Police Say

"I was just reading about something that happened in turnerville, New Jersey, Washington township. And this is going to get me in trouble for saying this. Because we need to have a serious conversation about race in America. When Joe Biden talks about the thugs at the at the capitol on January 6th, what about all the violence we're seeing in the streets of America today? Chicago. How about Saturday at the nifty 50s, in turnerville, New Jersey? Police are searching for the suspects caught on surveillance video who are believed to be involved in the attack. Now, there's no mention of the suspect's race. No mention of the waitress is race. Here's what happened. There was a table of 5 customers who were attempting to skip out on their $70 bill at this diner. And the waitress sees it. And she goes out into the parking lot to try to confront the 5 suspects. They abducted the 20 year old, they dragged her into the car and they beat her. Mercilessly. The vehicle headed north on route 42, made a U turn was headed north south toward Monroe township, and then they pushed her out of the vehicle. Somehow she was in killed. She was beaten badly. Because she's a hardworking young woman trying to make a living waiting tables. Now, I'm reading this article, and I'm wondering, why is there no descriptive descriptor of the suspects? Well, we know the answer to that. The media never identifies black suspects anymore as being black suspects. And yeah, these suspects are black. And she's white. Now, I don't know that bad people are bad people. Criminals are criminals. But we do see a dish proportionate percentage of crime being committed in the streets of America by black Americans.

The Hunter Biden Laptop Story: If It's Not in the News, It Didn't Happen

"Of course, there was a big cover up back in, I guess it was October, so when all of this was discovered that Joe, the Hunter Biden laptop and the New York Post was about the only newspaper that was covering it until they were told like Matt, not now. You can't cover that. And from the last interview you had when and was with you and mcilhenny, there are co producer and your wife, you had said to her when early on when you guys, I guess we're dating and you were journalists together. You said to her and I have actually used this quote and I've given it a credit to you. You said if it's not in the news, it didn't happen. And that's exactly what happened with the Hunter Biden laptop. They said, not newsworthy, so nobody in America or around the world will know that this actually is real. Yeah, you know, yeah, you know, show you how old I am. I said, I was not in the paper. It didn't happen. And so yeah, they decided to cover this up. They decided to suppress this, not even cover it up surprise. You know, we can't verify the laptop. Well, you've got New York Times. You could 1200 reporters actually, you know, there are emails with 6 people copied on them. Go and ask the other 5 people, then you get the did you send this email. And you know, one of them will confirm it. And if all of them refused to deny it, but then you know it's true, right? You can say, nobody, you know, and no one denying that this was a genuine email. Find out, I mean, they spend so much time and energy working out of Michael Cole and ever went to Prague. I mean, you can find out Joe Biden was in surplus or Hunter Biden was in certain places at certain times. And then you can find out people who emailed and where they were. And you can find out the time that he was there. I mean, these are not difficult things you can send him a list of questions. And he can refuse to answer them. And you can say that. And if he's by the way, it's very easy to prove that you weren't somewhere or you didn't send an email. You know, was there any spelling mistakes and emails, were there anybody named wrongly was the most over some email addresses? If these are fake, how do they get the email addresses? This could collapse in a minute if you put any investigative power behind it. But the problem was they wouldn't collapse. In fact, the more they investigated the more it would be verified.

And where do you see what we did with him with makeup and the wonderful Serbian makeup artists? I mean, he grew into the role. It was amazing. He just became Joe Biden over the course of making the movie. Even to the extent of walking into a glass door on his way into a restaurant on the weekend when we were making a movie. He said it was his greatest piece of mathematics ever. Yeah, he walked into a glass door and spent Saturday evening in the Serbian ER room. Not a great place to be actually any E or R on a Saturday night anywhere in the world is not a good place to be Serbia. It's got its own challenges. So you just need a few stitches, but that he was taking the Joe Biden the stumbling bumbling Joe Biden rule so seriously walking through a glass door. So that was not part of the movie. There's a lot of innovation. Because of the actions we've taken, things have begun to change. And to quote, in the past three weeks, the number of containers sitting on docks blocking that movement. He says in the quote, he says end of, quote, literally, end of, quote, that's actually a daddy warbucks has a lie like that. He's in the radio studios and he's reading he's reading. Phoenix's goal tuxedo one hundred percent one hundred the best those the best part what what matches in particular stood out. The danielle what was your number one moment in the show it was my one but lee martinez was pretty good l. La night and camera. Grimes was pretty decent as well. I i mean overall. It was a pretty good card. It just didn't. It wasn't hitting on all cylinders for me personally. What fell short avenue. Now all of the matches just seemed a little. I don't know if it was under energy or what it was but it just felt a little wake but it's also i think ending at what was it. Five dudes many just white dudes just five white nudes. Well mostly full four dudes and then that one big dude that one who just came in at the last minute because he couldn't hang with the other dudes but he's a champion so that makes sense in wrestling logic doesn't it but it's still annex t. Yeah so it's still like a good show. It's just maybe was just me. And i was just like not feeling it because of it's been a little warm leads. What do you think i am agree with. Danielle i enjoyed it. Fell a little flat to me. I don't know in particular why i think i mean. They had a lot of new people on the card. And i think we are in that bill period again with an x. C. which is no bad thing casino. Everything has a season. The women's matches when the new rule women or at least women who haven't been there as long on the main event as often. I did ask the nation of conversation on instagram. What they thought of the show and earth to make us just read my mind and sorry into my soul when they said they were impressed. That pete done didn't get one spot of spray tan on that white gear. And i've gotta give him props for that because that's that's that was also in my thoughts but you nice of him to a england football teams by gear and then to lose much like the england. Football team will probably within the next couple of suckers happening people's so yeah i enjoyed it. I enjoyed a lot of match and then the rest of it was fine. I i feel a little bit of both your feeling and our friends on instagram and part of it is is yes roster building happening. The other part is we're kind of on the road to their summer takeover. So there isn't going to be anything huge. You just sorta mixing worth that point. Where we're there scientists pouring liquids from one beaker. Another to see how they react and see what happens. And sometimes you get great stuff. I thought the ladder match was was great. I don't think anybody's gonna gonna put it up. There is an old timer. Because they didn't jump through a flaming bag packed five teams. They both really committed. And it was super fun. They are to who really want to put on a good show and they are just complete pros and i loved the opening match to you. The sixth tag. That was yeah. That was really fun. I loved that promo. That was so great. What about canada. Look if you go up and down the roster you're not gonna find bad matches it's just. There's nothing to get excited about. Because nothing here is the blow off to a huge feud the ember moon versus raquel gonzalez. There's no way in hell in bermuda's winning that match doesn't mean they're not going to have a very good match but she's filler for whoever they want to be an actual challenger knacks and that's not any shade on number. It's just like you know the pattern. You know the wrestling pattern in general and just get frustrated. Amber moon always seems to be in that position. But that's what it is now. I feel like she came in from being new. An amazing to being veteran. Who makes people look amazing. An totally skipped over the pot in the middle way. She gets to look amazing. You know i. I think there is an issue that a lot of people have and it's not something that isn't overcome those my opinion as as a fan is that the personality doesn't match the persona so who she is in between the ropes has nothing to do with who she is when she puts her mouth on a microphone. Talks words bailey. Was the same problem. And then she turned heel and now she's found in another level. It just takes time. It took her. I mean how many years until she could cut a good promo just to get away from that for a second. Because i want to briefly talk about the ladder match which enjoyed a great deal. What i liked so much about. It was the story. And i know i've been comparing la night to to the rock in terms of promo ability and i'm going to extend that to his storytelling in the rain. Because if you watch the specially a lot of early like like rock. I quit matches. When he was in his heel persona. He would talk and find little bits that that you could hear on camera and one in particular for la night. Was somebody cheering for cameron. Grimes in the front row and go. You like cameron grimes. You wanna meet him and then throwing him into the wall just like a great little bit of story in a match. That had really great stories right down to cameron. Grimes basically losing the match. Because he wanted the gallbladder as opposed to the one that he could have climbed to just grab the case now and then. Of course it's dumb but it makes sense for the character. If you if you plot out the story the line of logic for each person in the match that one. I think lines up really really well and that's not always something that we get in matches even very good matches. I don't really well done and it was released on. The storyline makes total sense. They fully pushed cameron into the face role for this match. By the time we got there and the million dollar bill be on face like you caught. Have the.

"Is about foreign policy. The state department has sent its strongest signal. Yet that joe biden's administration does not plan to roll back the trump administration's policies on cuba. Now if you can recall back. During the obama administration. There was a loosening of the so-called embargo toward cuba which allowed for americans to travel to cuba for instance which also kind of opened up some possible trade opportunities with cuba. And you know lifting the embargo and the sanctions that come along with. It is not just great for americans who want to freely travel to cuba. But it's great for the cuban people who have been crushed by us sanctions as a result of the united states government being incredibly on brutal to any country that has a political system that we disagree with after the communist revolution in cuba. Of course that's when the. Us government decided to take a hard line approach toward cuba with the embargo and honestly it hasn't changed their system of government. It hasn't changed the way they run their economy But all it has done is crushed cuba and the cuban people when in reality they should be able to run their country anyway. They like without the united states meddling in their business now state department. This past week listed cuba. As among those quote not cooperating. Fully with united states anti-terrorism efforts renewing determination. I made in two thousand twenty. So this is what trump did in the tail end of his presidency. He decided to essentially list cuba. As one of these countries that happens to be the enemy of ours because of the cooperation that they participated with countries like venezuela for instance right. So what does this determination really mean. What is its actual impact will. The determination was made under the arms export control act which requires a report. Every may listing countries barred from defense exports in sales with you with the us with the us. Now hold on. Let's pause for a second. Because i do want to address that. I don't care about weapons sales to cuba. In fact i would prefer to end all weapons sales internationally. I think that it's been incredibly destructive and is only destabilized regions of the globe So that's not my concern. I want to be clear about that. But understand the determination while it has an impact on weapons sales to cuba is really about Maintaining the embargo against cuba and the unfriendly relationship that we currently have with cuba. So cuba from So obama had actually removed cuba from the list. Back in two thousand fifteen The statute is also one of the three laws weighed when adding countries to the state sponsors of terrorism list. Something trump added cuba to in the final days of his presidency. Okay so cuban. Cuba cuba as a state sponsor of terrorism. How exactly. Because if. I can recall if i actually ignore the american media propaganda about cuba and actually take a good hard. Look at the government's actions doesn't really seem like they're spreading. Terrorism are sponsoring terrorism. In fact it's quite the opposite. For instance during the pandemic cuba has done quite a bit in You know ensuring that they're taking care of their own people they develop their own corona virus vaccine Outside of you know the pfizer. Maduna johnson and johnson vaccine that we're using here in the united states in fact. Why don't we just quickly go to this clip. That explains just how much cuba's been able to do for. Its people even with the us embargo crushing the country doctor matter this rams the plaza of the revolution polyclinic and news. Just about everyone in the neighborhood. Every day she makes the rounds to check on covid. Nineteen suspects who've been quarantined. Took those who come from abroad. Like florida resident bill gates upon cuba. She was given a covid nineteen test. Then she and her entire family put under strict lockdowns adopted checks on them every day on the day. She got a second test. And now dr galvez has come to tell her. She's in the clear online persona a. I'm impressed that despite cuba's resources they've been able to control this pandemic so well also. The people are very aware of what's going on and what they have to do with. A population of twelve million cuba has had fewer than.

"So small note. Because i can't help myself. The phrase fight like heck is just don't do it. Don't use that phrase because it makes it seem like you're not gonna fight a fight like heck is like. Yeah i'm gonna give it my best shot here but anyway i thought it was interesting. That for the first time biden felt the need to say something mildly aggressive in regard to two democratic senators. Obviously he didn't name them by name. But i think it's safe to assume he's talking about Senators kirstin cinema and joe manchin. Who have really served as a giant obstacle in getting much in the senate many of the Legends many of the pieces of legislation that get to the senate passed by the democratically controlled house they get to the senate were democrats of course have a very slim majority with kamla harris's the tie breaking vote. And you would need all democratic senators to agree on voting in favor of legislation if it's going to be done through reconciliation if it's a budgetary piece of legislation but if it's any other piece of legislation for instance the ford. The people act which reforms are elections gets money out of politics. Secures our elections By ensuring that voting machines aren't connected to the internet by ensuring that there is a paper about all of that stuff needs to pass with sixty senators in the senate. And that is impossible to do when senator mitch mcconnell The former senate majority leader has made it abundantly clear that he prioritizes fighting biden every step of the way so the only thing that we have left to do the only thing that senate democrats can do in order to pass important legislation like the for the people act is by either reforming or doing away with the senate filibuster which again requires sixty senators to vote in favor of legislation. Like the for the people act but unfortunately we're still dealing with mentioned in cinema that under no circumstances are they willing to do away with the filibuster in fact just today cureton cinema said in a in a video. That's now gone viral on twitter. That i'm a daily example that bipartisanship is working. How exactly has she made that assessment. I'm very curious because in order to claim that you are a shining example of how bipartisanship is working. You should be able to note what legislation you're able to pass bipartisanship. I in a bipartisan way. Bipartisanship is not working when you have republican leadership like mitch. Mcconnell for instance saying that his priority is to fight biden's agenda every step of the way there is not a culture of bipartisanship in the senate. There's no culture of bipartisanship even when it comes to something that honestly all lawmakers should be able to agree on which is doing an investigation into what happened in our nation's capital on january six. What were the flaws in our system. Why do we have white supremacists in police ranks for instance in capitol police. Why were they posing with some of the Capital writers on that day like these are things that should be. debated investigated discussed but kirsten cinema. Couldn't even bob. Her couldn't even bother to show up to vote on nine. Eleven style commission to investigate happened in the nation's capital. Now i do want to point to one thing that biden said that is hilarious to me mostly because the mainstream media fact checkers immediately jumped on it. Because it's honestly easy picking. It's low hanging. Fruit biden says that These two senators tend to vote with republicans more often than democrats. Obviously that's hyperbole. obviously that is not necessarily true. But i do think that biden is trying to touch on something that is important to keep in mind in regard to this whole myth of bipartisanship and how democrats can successfully work toward bipartisanship. No both mansion and cinema have Basically said we're not going to do away with the filibuster. In fact we want to do things in a bipartisan way. So you have. Joe.

"Now let's jump out to year twenty. And this is a big jump and take with a grain of salt because this is all just assumptions out here. But property wants cash on twenty, six, thousand bucks a year property to twenty three thousand Bucks Year preppy three is twenty thousand bucks a year in property seventeen, thousand bucks year as eight thousand dollars. In future cash flow. Now that's and feature dollars not today's dollars. But I mean eighty eight, thousand dollars on four properties in twenty years from now I mean that's that's a livable amount of money. I would think are very close to and missile basically if you do nothing else. But just have the discipline to not being idiot and go gamble your money away in credit card debt you have your retirement dot. Now Joe I have a net worth a one point seven, million dollars. If I come to you. And say I got these properties. I bought about fifteen to twenty years ago just been paying my payments every single month we had all this equity in here. What can I do with that? Man Options would be almost limitless. You could take cash out of those properties to buy one to four ten additional properties. We could sell one of the to these properties in pay off the others not have any mortgage payment you could sell these properties and ten thirty one into something bigger and. Getting better cash flows The options are almost unlimited i. mean if you have that much equity that much cash flow assuming you've been making all your mortgage payments and you still have good credit the world voice you know you could go out and do just about whatever you want with your real estate investing. and. So we'll just kind of fast fourteen forty I'm to. Skip way over because near forty..

In terms, but whatever you WANNA call and staff writers they You know we've told them look. We can't guarantee you any. We can't guarantee anything for ourselves so. If you have other opportunities by all means, go pursue them, we're we're still in the business of. Creating. You people them as the summer unfold. Well, Joe I appreciate the. The updates and the recapping of the first of the. Summer season when it comes to the meat and everything at national steeplechase dot com to keep tabs and to look forward. Just what Week from Saturday I? Mean it's comes right back up as you mentioned and. Gold Cup. Day and boy that really is that really is too bad that for those that have never been A. Little Washington and it's it's such a that's. Another of the the really pleasant visits. Look on the calendar for for the chase season and You're right. It is the racing's great, and and the you know having an opportunity for everybody to run, and in the owners, trainers and riders, but. The atmosphere is what makes it. It's a different story at the racetrack. Yes, the big Saturdays, or are going to our our little, our little empty right now, but Monday through Friday? It's easier you know for everybody On the on the thoroughbred side, but it's not the same if nobody's. Partying and tailgating and So forth that at the chase events. Yeah by definition people taping is pretty much socially undisciplined I mean that's the point, right? You're supposed to go there with friends and family and I have a tailgate or Go to the sponsor tents or you know be there with the kids or whoever I mean it just It very get different atmosphere. We did that livestream the other day and I was in my office and fair, Hill and Megan Connolly the co-host, or she's the host I'm the CO She's in a TV show in Arkansas and the races aren't Virginia and it felt very distant. We were thrilled to do it and you know with great, but it felt very disconnected, and then when you would kind of watch the races. especially at Middleburg Line tailgate. Tell faces is sort of all the way through the stretch and around turn up to the last month, and it's probably. Not quite a half a mile, but it might be a half a mile of cars. It's nothing emptying. You know on Saturday. It was very strange. Well we're. We're headed in the right direction and. The racetrack, the race track. Jumping will help. Bridge the gap and then knock on wood by September ideally. They'll be the opportunity although know they say the outdoors is outdoors is better than indoors. We know that and. I you know I don't know why. You know with masks, even even even now Joe I. Don't know why you couldn't pull this off. You know with a low risk you know. I think they.

"Well Joe I got it yes thank you very well good thankfully healthy and still tripping along at our country and but boy Joe I'm I I couldn't be I would be lying if I said I didn't miss our conversation back in you know January February when the market economy employment we're all chugging along different a couple of months makes yes in fact federal chairman's reserve external chair reserve bank chairman ed Powell dropouts you beat that kind of a shocking statistic yesterday Joe he said that forty percent of households making less than forty percent of the year lost his job in March yeah that's right that book Goldman Sachs is predicting that unemployment could reach twenty five percent these are some of the frightening times all I'm optimistic I'm optimistic about this country that these great companies are great work force but in the here and now these are some pretty writing and pretty damning statistics on it because our economy yes I said that intrigues me if you get the twenty five percent it doesn't seem like there are more layoffs happening now that's that's kind of behind us at least at the moment so is it these these are just people that you know haven't gotten to the unemployment line in and gotten registered yet these these people still need to filter into the system we'll get more information at seven thirty may get some data from the government about exactly about about unemployment yeah Goldman Sachs they're predicting that look at if we get this kind of highland effect with businesses closing people losing their jobs losing their homes as a result and keep in mind that we are told that the title was back in the Great Depression and that was before all of the senior lift in bailouts in check because after that the but the American public I've received so I'm pretty dire warnings and and we're already feeling it interesting news yesterday about what we're paying for groceries in the grocery bills shot up Joe last month at the highest rate since nineteen seventy four and they might not have seen it something like for example donuts donuts when about five percent last month but everything from coffee eggs dispute cost anywhere between two percent and and eggs were up sixteen percent last month so we're starting to see we talked a lot about that the plaque change all in at the breaking down means items are getting more scared so we're seeing it at the grocery store or more likely in fact we're seeing it delivered to our door one of the changes in the last a couple of months Jill has obviously been a popular online grocery delivery you know back in twenty fifteen only fifteen percent of people have had online grocery delivery but as of last month over fifty five percent of people are like what's the delivery we do obviously to what we're dealing with with rope with a quote yeah that's a man that's an incredible jump no doubt but see that's the thing you know when you talk about you know restaurants and bars being closed and guy clearly a fair number of us I eat out with regularity else we would not have the incredible messaging about restaurants and restaurant jobs like we do right now but if you think about it we're not eating out so we're eating him more so we're going to the grocery more is so demand is up that that always makes prices go up doesn't say that the client to manage all the director has been a there is going to change the good news is that we don't want to be so down this morning because there is a lot of good news we've heard here day after day about life in various parts of the country slowly but surely getting back to normal and business is adapting its usage over cooking more at home we're also ordering more in in fact that's why Wall Street has been stopped interesting news late in the day yesterday over you know the ride sharing service yep they're actually making a big they're trying.

Rahman who wrote it was a very good composer and I I do have the scar on my part but I've never seen it that's a good story it is just because they're poor right yeah well they're always bit India they're always poor speaking movies I try to watch parasite yeah you're with trump on this one yeah you're you're gone with the wind guy right yeah in reading and really wasn't that much of subtitles are not difficult to do tell him figure let me let complaints are too small well it was small and give you that well the thing about I haven't seen parasite either but I kind of know what it's about it's about the haves and have nots well it was kind of interesting but it kind of breaks for bill dubbed it at some point since I won the Oscar so then you'll get to watch when they dubbed in English that's that annoying when the rate doesn't match doesn't match the mound never does now no that's not good so anyway trump's in India is trying to do a trade deal now I did see somewhere he said a lot of people becoming probably seven or eight million to a rally and then they said actually more like a hundred thousand we think to be fair so he's off that's a pretty good it's amazing actually you think Bloomberg a hundred thousand people oh god okay all that well in India surely as it was you know for Santa Cruz group is out there and he pays for people to come to his rounds but I mean India is a country of one point three billion people India happens to be a place that I love I spent three weeks three weeks there once one of the greatest trips of all time fantastic country people are great colors the food smells the sights I went hiking in the Himalayas I went up to him love what what do you want when you left why when you look at this is funny to joke that's funny with the smell to me because I I remember a line from Bob grant okay say that at all it's a warning folks take a warning and Joe is just devote to being revoking an old radio host well understated rob grant Edison because Edison New Jersey minute login yeah I think that you know so like most of the leaders are but he says you leave this country when you go to Addison that smell of curry is why didn't I happen to love the smell of by the way have you know have you ever walked through an Indian spice market I'm not a big an Indian why neither am I don't know I love it one of my teeth yeah the smell well do you know we we lived across the street from cement is very nice people and I I we went to the house for they have the celebration I was like how many people live there forty five no no no this is a normal family can wife and children yeah a good place right let's let Joe could.

"Is Joe I have to go to DMV tomorrow I have to get one of those real ID's otherwise I can't fly accent a passport I could fly but I just I kind of want to back up to the passport because I'm an idiot I could lose the passport and I just need to back up I I should get one the real like these so I'm I've always kind of wondered what the optimal strategy is to go to the DMV because what I used to do was I would go first thing in the morning and I would get there first thing in the morning and they would be like this a bomb Ross of like seventy five people I'm not sure so sure that the best strategy like I think I'm just gonna naively drop in in the middle of the day like two o'clock I'm just gonna drop in and I think that's probably is you know if I don't go during lunch that's probably the best time to go I did this with the social security office hi I dropped in at around two o'clock in the I was out of there in like forty five minutes so wasn't too painful I do also want to tell a quick story house in the Nashville this was a couple weeks ago and three nationals fun town it's a great town and I mean you know how to talk bars and stuff like that one of this one of the things I saw downtown was be Copenhagen store Copenhagen in terms of debt chewing tobacco snuff Copenhagen has a store that no I mean it's the south right and for sure what he had snot out of place but so I went in the Copenhagen store and it's amazing it's absolutely outs just for background I used to dip I dipped for ten eleven twelve years something like that and I'm I had a candidate habit I mean I was really I was dipping heart and it was bad like my lips were all chewed up I go to the dentist the dentist would yell at me then I stopped going to the dentist I'd go to the dentist for like three or four years like it was it was bad and I was dipping all the time in and my wife said my breath to smell terrible and it's disgusting habit also like nicotine kind of makes me paranoid you know it's just I started like worrying about stuff when I'm when I'm dipping so anyway we went to the Copenhagen store and it is glorious is really nice inside and you go in and there's a very attractive woman who takes your ID's and she takes you to another attractive woman it's full of attractive women and she takes you another attractive woman and you go back to this next room and the next room is kind of like a museum of like how deep is produced it's it's you know they got the tobacco plants there they're all grown in greenhouses all in Kentucky within like a hundred miles of this one location in Kentucky all the dip in the country's grown in this area all greenhouses and these are things I did not know so then if after you get done with a little museum tore they take you back to the secret room we take into the secret room check your ID again and it's this big burly guys like six three three hundred pounds wearing a flannel shirts got in his sleeves rolled up got tattoos gives you a firm handshake can be just like crushes your hands a big burly guy and this is the secret room where they give out the free samples so you're standing there is that what you want to try and there's like twelve different kinds of the wall the poles down can and they have these things called packs like it's not quite like the pouches it's not quite like school bandits amid the pack the best way I can describe it is it looks like a Burr retail looks like it's like a little burrito and the membrane I mean the thing was called bandits if you remember the school band it's is that you never really got like a buzz offer them because they were just you know you did get the full fact in the packs error the the membrane is much thinner so you get you definitely get a buzz in the taste is actually pretty good so I tried one of the packs anyway if you if you pack of fatty and you walk out into the other room and it's like a big living room there's like couches and T. V. and shuffle board and I am like all the stuff it's like a little bit of it's like a playground for men and they give you a plastic Cup and you hang out and you did and you spit in the cop and you play shuffleboard you watch TV and it's a place to hang out very very cool concept so anyway you know after about a half hour this you get down to the death and then you make your way back to the front and in the front they have a store in the store is it's I hesitate to call the store I hesitate to call the store because it's easy can you can buy any kind of did you want so I said okay I'll try the packs so they'd they'd sold me a can of the packs for a dollar one dollar keep in mind I don't if you know the price of death but you know in the south it's generally around like for five dollars a camp up in New England or New York and New Jersey it's about fifteen dollars a can and a dollar is clearly underpriced now they don't let you buy a hundred cans and go out on the street resell them but for a dollar like I mean this the point of this is this store is absolutely genius it's one of the most ingenious things I've ever seen a business so first of all you have an addictive product okay in the product kinda sells itself but you know dipping is kind of associated with pickup trucks in hunting and NASCAR and stuff like that but you have this environment that's it is a luxury environment where you actually have like it like I said attractive women which they don't have not usually associated with death and in its it the whole thing is like seductive they give you free samples then you get the bike can for a dollar I mean Copenhagen is taking an absolute bath they're taking an extraordinary bath on the store I can't even imagine what the Randy is it's a huge space I mean the rand has got to be like guessing twenty thousand a month I don't know maybe something like that so the rain is super expensive at any given time they have like ten people working there and I don't get the impression that they are poorly paid I mean talk to run this store his it's gonna cost at least a half a million a year but let's just say it's a half million year that half a million dollars is purer marketing expense because there it's that has nothing to do with selling the dip for dog it might as well give that away for free to the dollars that people spend at the store or just just totally pointless it is just pure marketing spent so if you think about who's their intended audience and their intended audience is either number one people who have never gift before who come in and try and get hooked on deck that's probably not really their intended audience because it's unlikely that somebody would do that for the first time in the store also if you know anything about the kind of takes you awhile to get hope it's not the it's not like it's not like fentanyl like it's the first one it tastes like crap it makes you sick like you actually have to do it like ten or twenty times before you feel like you have some kind of dependency on it so it's not that really what they're doing is they're getting people who are loyal to other brands if you dip like skoler Kodiak or something like that and you come in and try to Copenhagen deputy try to stop you like ma'am this stuff is pretty good and it just stealing market share so my guess is on the five hundred thousand dollars they spend on marketing expenses they probably make ten times that they probably make five million dollars offer this every year from stealing market share from other manufacturers or whatever so it's absolutely fascinating now before you call eight four four three zero five seventy eight hundred and lecture me on the evils of chewing tobacco I have given up for good I did do it in Nashville I did get a can of the packs which has like five or so X. packs in it I'll probably go through the can and then I'm done I really don't see myself going back to being a candidate dipper because like I.

"Joe I think one of the things that is is the most helpful for me is to understand the faces and the stories behind people that are experiencing this that tell us about someone else sure I'll tell you about a check it was taken more than ten years ago she was over ten years she was forced to Islam it was given to a slave master the Bahamas and she has subsequently she had four children because he was right so many times she cared for those children she loves up but she said how old how difficult life was but she was sick no one cared for her no one would take her to the hospital so was there is still that she was forced to work in the middle of the night she was woken up in the middle and I force to do work around the house and around the farm and sit at yeah thank god that she met one of the slave liberators name Adam close I was from that community brought her back south Sudan walking on but only by night they say she came across that border we met her she was part of that liberation effort that many of your listeners were part of this year and she was given food to eat the bag of hope that this I'm so happy to be back does your dad also thinking of my children please help free my children and bring them back just south Sudan so that we can be reunited as a family as well it's it's a genuine miracle and friends it's something that really it's it's hard to put into words the amount of good that it does when when you think of nothing more than the fact that they've never had a personal possession Joel we think of a check in the fact that she was raped so many times that she gave birth to four kids from those consummated appointments and and and at the end of the day when she was liberated most likely was not allowed to bring her children with her is that right that's correct still waiting to be reunited she's begging us to go find her children that and and bring them back to sell to them and you're right the game with only the clothes on our back they're not given anything whether it's slavery one of the things that we give them along the back of his new new roads and you see the pictures on our website and I know you you presented up on your on your life program Kevin that three you do and what have you that they were beautiful roads to show that they are now starting their new life right and what a transformation that is there is no greater transfer my been involved a nonprofit work for over twenty years I've never seen a transformation as great as that someone is freed from slavery and given their lives back it is just.

"In the stores. You've just shared the difference between op? -tunities isn't like lock or favor. If you want something than go and be a sponge a fan and be a student and the greatest thing a student can do for their teacher is do something with what they've learned like actually do something with it. You know, that's interesting because a lot of people don't believe they can. And this is where I grab the crew member more than once and go I believe in you, you can do this. And it maybe it's not something you want to do. But right now, you're here. So why not learn it? Maybe this becomes your passion. I think a lot of people the reason they don't go. Hey, will you help me is they're afraid I think freight, and they they're afraid they can't do it. I think the fear is not because they're lazy. I believe that they're not sure if they can do it, and they're afraid to ask do you think they're afraid of rejection that if I ask you for help? If I tell you I wanna do this. If you want what I have then you do exactly what I tell you to do. Now, I got him a job with a guy. I told the guy he's new don't push them. And the guy pushed him, and he took the boat off the dock and when I saw the boat I came and saw the boat. I was so angry because it was dangerous. So I went to the owner, and I was so mad, and I said I care about the crew member. Joe I love him. And I care about him. What you did was wrong. Because you know, he's new, and you know, he's eager, and you have a responsibility because you're older and you pushed him to take that boat out. Now, he is wrong for taking it off the dock and I said, you'll get your next boat. You're next crew. He his career hasn't even started in it will end because of you. And then I looked at both of them. As yo Al goes, this is so awkward he was like freaking out because I was yelling at this. And I said, I will cut all ties. With both of you. If this ever happens again, and I will call the coastguard on you. Because what you did was dangerous. You didn't worry about offending them. You didn't worry about earning a bridge. You just did the right thing inside the right thing. Yes. Because lives are at stake. Our job.
