"I read this headline. Maybe 10 times more hands with eight elected officials refused Fox 59 interviews for second day after violent Labor Day. I read that headline. 10 Times. But it was nothing compared to the opening paragraph in the reporting By Russ McQuaid. Me I'm Tony Katz in 93. W I. B. C Good morning. Here it is. I tell you right now, this is the best reporting the greatest reporting. I have read. It is spectacular. To an extent, It was a level of vindication, except I wouldn't want it for anybody else. Allow me A staff member of the City County Council. Told Fox 59 on Wednesday that quote several counselors say they will never talk to Fox 59 news again unquote because of our attempts to seek comments and interviews on recent violence in Indianapolis, and proposed solutions funded by district specific Grants. I honestly don't have a sound effect to go with that I There's there. It just has to sink in. Holy cow. I get it. City County Council. You're not talking to me that Tammy Katz just a dopey radios. You know, he's a suspected white supremacist. He's not a suspected white supremacist. We know, but it sounds good when we say that, so we can suspected way, Supremacist Now it should be full disclosure. The City County Council has never said that of me. Other people have said that of me, but I assume that there are members of the City County Council thinking That's my take. I'm going with that. Either way, they're just absolutely afraid of conversation. They're afraid of defending their record on the violence in Indianapolis, where there are totally silent, but they have no problem with painting slogans on the street. They only care about jobs of their union jobs. They only care about the red Line and the purple line, and the blue line doesn't matter what devastation they cause. That's our City County Council and certainly not pro police. They're talking about violence in this city that have left multiple people dead. How they're prioritizing the award of $625,000 in district anti crime grants, and they won't answer the question. Now, if some counselors are were unavailable on Tuesday because of the Jewish holiday, Alright. I was unavailable Tuesday because the Jewish holiday I get it. And that makes perfect sense You're available on Thursday. You're available on Thursday and they did indeed, give a statement. But others refused to be interviewed on camera. You won't answer questions. Just like Joe Hogg said. We have the media veils, pencil and paper only. You get recorded any member of the press that walks in with a pencil and paper? And thinks that's okay is out of their head. Out of their head you recorded. If the If the mayor doesn't want to be on the record, the mayor won't won't show up. But the mayor doesn't get the option. The mayor's on the record when talking about the city. It's an off the record conversation. That's something different. This council won't answer questions. This council doesn't care about what's happening. Just get out of the way and let them do anything they want to do you know about possibly doesn't want to answer questions. The president of the Indianapolis City County Council, he just wants to be mayor, Can you imagine? Imagine Mayor are silly. A guy who believes in this purple line and blue line trash. Doesn't care what business is. He destroys some people. They don't have transportation. Uh, okay. So because of that kind of argument, you destroy other people's opportunities to travel and you destroy their businesses. We lost businesses because of the red line. We didn't increase the values that you promised. Never mind the fact that the Red Line doesn't work and no one takes it. Come on. No one takes it. Get over yourselves. I'm not saying there aren't people on the red line. I am saying that when you take a look at how many people really want to utilize this thing to get from point A to point B. It's not happening. Well, Tony. That's because of Covid. Yeah. You keep telling yourself that. But not answering questions. I read that headline. I read that paragraph. They'll never talked to Fox 59 news again. Can you tell me City County Council staff member which counselors so we know who to immediately vote out of office. Or better yet, I have often said that I was going to hire somebody to put a microphone into Joe Hogs face every single day. I know no gotchas. None of that craziness but to ask questions because there aren't enough questions being asked. Maybe I have to do it with the City County Council every day. Asking them questions. Questions about this city. No, no nonsense. No silliness, Just asking a question. You don't talk to the press, huh? Interesting. Yeah, but you're you're the good indecent ones, right? It's just a reminder of how unbelievably awful. The city County Council is. How ridiculous and child like they are. How we don't have adults. We don't have professionals helping build this city. No wonder they have no vision. They're all super woke, but no vision. By the way to the credit of Michael Paul Hart, the Republican. He immediately did an interview, and he did it on camera. I believe The.

"Is that really a tree in the middle of the road? And I took two takes? I was like, What? What? What is this? Me and my wife instantly started laughing. This is how we fix holes in southwest Florida. The tree is actually make it harder to get around the next hole. That's right next to me, because I usually just drive over the pothole. But that is a big tree. You can't drive through a tree. I see a lot of cars that come to her in a bottom out. You heard his big bang and you know if somebody had a whole and message of the tire message of the rim, and then it basically messes up your day. Can we send Mayor Joe Hog sit down to Florida to fix this problem? I've seen that before. Where there's just, You know, it's been a giant pothole. Nobody's touched it. Nobody's fixed it for months. And somebody plants a tree right in the middle of it right that That's a good way to get it fixed. That's even though I would you say this is a private drive. I don't know how it works down there. But that's a good way to get a pothole fixed in. You know, City County. You know you want something fixed? Nobody's touching it playing a giant tree there. I've also seen where people take spray paint can and they put a big crank around it. They spray paint the outline of genitalia, right using the pothole as the the the beans. Yes, Okay, The beanbag. It's the Hammer and Nigel show we're coming back. So I used the All Star roof citing and more to come fix deciding my house. It was just destroyed and rotted out, had holes in and everything I'll start exciting more. Came out and got the job done within a couple of days. Tom Myers is the owner has been around the business for most of his adult career. If you need somebody come see if you have storm damage to meet with an adjuster or whatever call all star roof siding and more 52 to 64 09. I'll be the first one to tell you, Tom Myers and all Star roof. They are the people to call and they even work weekends. They came out to my house. And Tom Myers, the owner of the company, got up on the ladder, looked at my roof and told me my roof was fine. I didn't need anything done with my roof. And I appreciate that honest assessment. If you need somebody to give you an honest assessment, or maybe meet with an adjuster call all star right now. 52 to 64 09. That's 52 to 64 09 all Star roof siding and more. Tell him hammering, Nigel said. Covid 19 is still around. But that doesn't mean the Army ROTC programs are not.

"Joe Biden lying to you. Someone sent me an email is the liars have just contempt. It's both. It's the haters of contempt. It's both If they had started a month ago, they would have been able to get more people out. And maybe have gotten out all the Americans and then all those Afghani is with s. I ve special immigrant visas. That we promised could come Or a month from now. There is no way to evacuate this many people without pain and loss of heartbreaking images You see on television? Not true. You could have done it in a rational, responsible way. You created a problem. Then look at the problem and say nobody could do it better. That's just not fact. That is propaganda. Pravda ask nonsense trash. And none of us should accept it. Anybody does accept it. Well, that's somebody who is willing to accept lies. As truth. They want to talk about Trump lying. This is the granddaddy Whopper because it's predicated on the idea that no one could do better. But this is just the way it had to be. This isn't the way it had to be. That's the point. This isn't the way it had to be. Your bad policy in danger lives. It's like Joe Hogs that sing ma crimes up all across the country. What are you going to do? That is not the reason Crime is up in Indianapolis. That is not a buck stops here. Comments that is not being taking a look at how you have handled things and done things that saying, Oh, well, it always has to be this way. No. None of it had to be this way. And that's the point to remember going into 2022. That is a lie from the commander in chief and one that should not be tolerated. Matt Bear is out. Paul Barton los He's in the WBC traffic.

"Open it. Please stick your head out and yell. I must mag as hell. And I'm not gonna take this anymore. And now, Cameron, Nigel, go off the rails with Brock Kindle on 93. W E V. C o My name is Nigel. Jason Hammer is here. Rod Kendall from the mark and Rob show joining us to go off the rails July. First. Finally, zero covid restrictions We should all give, Hogg said. And Kane a nice pat on the back a nice little golf clap. Hey, the Pacers thanked Hogg, said, M Cain Jimmer say, Think, Hogg said, and came for their steadfastness. Throughout this whole ordeal. I'm wondering, Rob, if you think we'll get the same kind of Thank you the same kind of reception from Penske and Miles and the people at the Indianapolis Motor Speedway. Well, first of all, I'd like to thank garage doors of Indianapolis because they are our sponsor, and Jimmer say it's easy for him to thank hog set and Kane because he doesn't have to pay rent on that stadium. We do it. The people who hawks Kane put out of work, so it's easy for millionaire guy to go. Oh, you did such a wonderful job. I'm gonna go stay in my Multi billion dollars stadiums. Give me a break. All the hogs said. And Kane are what they did. The past year was borderline criminal. It was gross. It was disgusting. Working in cahoots with Governor Holcomb, they should all be ashamed of themselves. Yes, I just hammer if I'm Penske and Miles and people Indianapolis Motor Speedway Just a month ago, they were limited capacity for the 8534 40%. And now what changed after a month does make Kane and hawks and say, Oh, no, everybody can pad to pack them all in no mask. Did we reach the 50% of vaccination rate Because I was told we couldn't move forward until we got 50% of the exasperated I would just be just beside myself if I was people running Indianapolis Motor Speedway when a month later. You told me 30 days ago. I couldn't fill this place up and make a profit and make enough money. There was a handful of covid. Um, uh, infections that came out of the Indy 500 now, 30 days later. Rob is magically everything's gone. Everything's open. Well, they ran out of They just literally ran this thing. I mean, think about this. If I'd have told you guys January 2020 what was going to happen over the over the past 15 months from March until June, you wouldn't have believed it. They ran this thing a lot longer than they could. And they realized the end of the road is, people would lose their minds if they didn't have. Indianapolis Colts football. They can get away with it at the track because a lot of people are outsiders. They still can justify every single dollars 125,000 people there. They know the breaking point when every other NFL team was going to have full capacity they had to give in, and you can't give in until you can have football and not open. Everything else back up. They just they. It's like playing checkers moving the checker on the checkerboard. When you've got one king and the others guys got seven. You can only move it so often and you run out of moves and how much of this was The folks that go to the Colts and Pacers games. There's a good chunk of those folks who vote Democrat who are hawks that voters who elect these super liberal members of the City County Council. I don't think you see that at the Indianapolis Motor Speedway No, and but again, it's It's first of all completely gross that regular taxpayers making $40,000 a year. Are forced every year to fund a Millionaire's stadium is million Millionaires Pet Project Stadium that he inherited from his dad. The team. I mean, that's gross, but that's another conversation, but you're right. It is selective. And the whole thing has been selective the entire time with covid that liquor stores can magically stay open because Kyle Huff for owns 31 liquor stores and his best buddies with the governor, But but this business can't sail. But it's all been disgusting. And everyone should be just outraged yet. I don't see a lot of outrage, and I Expect this kind of stuff from boss, Hogg said, because that's the kind of slime ball that dude has turned out to be. But were you surprised at all that Virginia Kane decided to play ball with a lot of this? Because we all know no science has changed over the last month, and we never got close to the 50% vaccination rate. No, because power hungry people always gobble up power. And when you don't ever miss a check, this has been one of the great tragedies throughout all of this is that Eric Holcomb never missed a check. He didn't give anything up, Joe Hogs that never missed a check. Virginia K Never. Mr. Check Doctor Box. The gynecologist who masquerades as a health commissioner never gave up a check The state employees, most of them went home and autumn didn't even have to work. They never missed a check. You know who missed the check The people who fund all of these people. They're the ones who missed the check. Now, let's let's let's talk about this for a minute to while we're Talking about hypocrisy. Think about this a year ago, a year and a half ago. Now Eric Holcomb calls a bunch of people who are on his lawn protesting for their jobs back a human Petri dish. Eric Holcomb is now involved in a lawsuit trying to get more people to go back to work to be like those people. This is the hypocrisy that we're dealing with. Now. Eric Holcomb is now in port trying to end unemployment benefits to be like the people that he called a human Petri dish. All of these people are disgusting. And those people in his long didn't want anything except to operate their business and go back to work and have the ability to make a living and he insulted them. I'll never forget that he was they wanted to do what he's Now telling other people you have to do go to work, so we're seeing a little bit of Fauci in Governor Holcomb here says one thing, says something else. As long as you take both sides of the argument here, you can run campaign ads and commercials and do interviews and say that you were right. Well, the public is to blame because the public is largely uninformed. They're apathetic. And they they beat the crap that is shoveled down their throats. Eric Holcomb is a loser. He's a career government political person. He's never run anything. He couldn't run anything. He lucked into this job. He had to get out of that three way Senate race so that Todd Young could run against Marlon Statesman on, you know, on un unabated, and then they end up magically saying, Oh, well, you're the most qualified person in the entire state of Indiana to be the lieutenant governor. Oh, it just so happens that the Ivy Tech job opens up so we can get rid of the lieutenant governor because she doesn't like Mike pence anymore. She's the most qualified person to do that. It's a Barnes and Thornburg Christmas miracle going off the rails with Rob Kendall here on the hammer and Nigel shows one more thing on that..

"Joe Biden. Has brought it to us. Joe Biden has saved us from ourselves and we are forever. Thankful. Missed it by that much. That's true. It's not actually Joe Biden. Tony Katz 93 WBC. Good morning. I'm glad the vaccines have been rolling out. That we want to make this so political again, as opposed to say, Hey, America! Good work. Hey, Good job. President Trump with Operation Works feet. Hey, good job. Drug companies, Big Pharma with getting this vaccine. Hey, Good job Bond administration, making sure you stayed out of the way. So the vaccines he gets everyone solid. By the way. It was just last week that we were hearing that Nana people were getting the vaccine. And this was a serious problem now this week. Hey, we're doing a great job. Somebody got the memo. That you actually have to reward good behavior. You told people Hey, get the vaccine. You still have to wear a mask You still to social distance? He still can't see Grandma have a nice day and people like what's the point? Then you're like, Wait a second. People don't think there's a point to doing this. They're not getting vaccinated. Oh, now you want the kids to get vaccinated? Will parents have real issues with that? And we shouldn't come after them. Take a breath. You're a parent wondering whether you should give a kid a shot, eh? It's okay. You're not wrong. You're not wrong. It's Ziff Ical decision. Of course it is. You may not want to do it right now. You may want to do it a year from now. See how things go. Not crazy, not a bad parents, either. Oh, Tony, You're not a doctor. You don't get to say. Of course I do. Dr seven expertise, but they aren't in charge of my life. I could disagree with a doctor. Any chance I want or any chance I get any time I feel anytime I want. And if you tell me you're not allowed to disagree with the doctor. So you're saying you agree with Dr Kevorkian. Now that I kicked your butt so completely can we move on? We please. I disagree with Dr Carmack Gods. No. Your move. Dr Fetishists. Doctors give advice. Patients make decisions. We understand how this works now. Citizens always make the call. And the irrational person says, Well, listen, I may be the elected official, but the doctor said we have to do with the doctor says Oh, hi, Joe Hog set. By the way, the marrying County Health Department is reviewing the CDC regulations on the masks. Right. That's the CDC. What? What do you arguing? What do you even reviewing? You Just do what they tell you to do. That's exactly what you told the business owners of Marion County. You do what we tell you to do. You don't do what we tell you to do You know what happens? "Friends and your neighbors. There's nothing wrong with the mayor of Indianapolis. Suggesting that people get vaccinated. As a matter of fact, you can argue that that's the job of ah of a public official now. Public official might see it differently. And so therefore like no, no, no, I I don't want to suggest this. I want to suggest something else. That's That's completely and totally fine, but there's nothing wrong. It was what it is. That Mayor hog set said here. Nothing at all. There is something wrong with saying with all due respect to elected officials, it's indisputable that in a health crisis, it's better to have the experts in charge. We have to be humble enough to admit we're not experts that we need to listen to experts and I hope the Indiana Legislature will respond accordingly. Tony Katz 93. W I. B C Good morning. That line is disqualifying he should resign today. Mayor, Hogg said, is not up to the task. And this line, as quoted by Eric Berman, the chief political correspondent. Here in 93. W I. B. C Is damning and damaging. That the mayor is excited about the Indianapolis 500. Going to have fans, mast and socially distance. That it's going to have a positive impact on our city. I agree that this is true. It will have a positive impact on our on our city. That you put masks on people outdoors, so we're going to be spaced. It's so silly. And embarrassing and non science. It's not science. Let's go back to the statement from Joe Hodson. And by the way anyone on his team who wants to challenge me on this. I'm right here. You know, I would say, Let's talk to the mayor, but he doesn't talk. He doesn't talk about anything. He doesn't answer questions. You know the media has these media breakfast with him, and the mayor's office still demands that the media on Lee used Pencil and paper. You can't record The mayor. Maybe the mayor doesn't want to be on record about the 29 female homicide victims in 2021. Great work. Jesse Wells, Fox 59 reporting on this story. 29 Women have been murdered in Indianapolis in 2021. That's not the total rate Please don't get me wrong. Just so we understand. At this stage of the game. We're a 29 and 2018. There were four in 2019. It was seven. In 2020 was 13, and now it's 29. But don't worry, Jo Hogg said, has a plan. Don't know what the plan is. Nobody knows what the plan is. I mean, what was the plan for two nights of writing? Bad man in the world Mayor Joe Hogs that no one knows..

While we are not yet able to say what precise date we will get to, for example, a phase three Indianapolis residents and businesses should still begin educating themselves on what each of those five phases permit. I hear the frustration from some that we are not moving at the same pace as other parts of the state. Lucky you. Here's the salt joke right there. Listen, if you could. "It's no doubt the people are feeling economic issues. Maybe shutdowns aren't the right answer their mayor, hug set seriously. You should follow science, but I must object to this idea of the use of the word gun violence. It's your ideology at play when you do that, and it's ugly a sin. This is not a conversation of guns. This is not a conversation of firearms. This is a conversation of who's pulling the trigger and why culturally, it happens and why it happens in certain areas and why it happens in certain areas over other areas and what you are not doing about it in terms of discussing it, honestly. I do not put forth that Mayor Joe Hogs that is responsible for what happened in this home. I don't know what happened in this home. There's gonna be an investigation on patient. I can wait. What I won't wait for is a plan to deal with violence in this city That does not involve the recognition that much of it is cultural. And we cannot be afraid of being called bigots or Racists or anything else in addressing it. It must simply be addressed. In the same way school shootings have to get addressed with why white kids involved are involved in school shootings. Why do they see that as the answer? Not everything that happens on the streets of Indianapolis involved somebody who is black. That would be crazy. But we can ask ourselves if there are cultural connections. And if so, are we at least addressing them? Like, for example, as V. Then what was the position that they used to have that hogs that got rid of they had a public safety director? That was it? That was hogs that got rid of that. He's his own public safety director. That's going great, sir. By the way, what happened to Troy Riggs, who then became the chief? Discussing the fact that you can arrest somebody You can build the case against somebody, but nobody will testify. That's cultural all. You don't testify. Because then you're a snitch. You rather let a guy shoot up your whole neighborhood and ruin the neighborhood. Then quote unquote be a snitch. I don't think you understand the code. That's not bro. Code that is not America. That's squeezed. What do you doing? So where does the mayor address these things loudly? Not under his breath. But as loudly as he says things like this. The city of Indianapolis. Was targeted Act. Depravity. That has become all too common. Well, now what? Now what? What conversations while you change, maybe tie the time is to bring in revenue. Charles Harrison. Maybe the Reverend Charles Harrison has to accept the fact that he has got to rethink his plan to be more aggressive on this addressing. Maybe if he had more voice within city government, he would be doing so. Maybe he needs to get louder all by himself. We're not gonna put up with this idea of gun violence. Just stop talking, Mayor, Hogg said. You sound like a crazy person. You're taking a very serious subject that we need you to address and you're completely mismanaging it because you won't be honest. The gun is not the issue. People killing other people over perceived slights or over other insanity. These people who will go in and kill an entire family. That's the issue. Well, Tony, they didn't have a gun. They wouldn't be dead. Is that what we're going to say? Well, you enjoy that kind of nonsense. I'll be over here with the normal people. I don't think mayor hogs and is responsible for something like this. I do think that Mayor Hawks that has shown that he is incapable of a leadership that goes deep. Maybe because he hasn't been able to do it on a shallow level. There's more violence that took place than just this last night or the other night. There's more than happened than just this. We're going to dig into all of it. Mayor Hog set. Has got to be called to account for his inability and the City County Council's inability to even begin to handle what's happened to the city. Maybe if they just paint another slogan on the streets. Everything from regular.

"That were suspended and as we've been discussing, it's also strange. Tony Katz 93. W I. B C Good morning. Don't pay any attention to the people who want to go down the line of well, you know, if if this was black lives matter, they would have shot I'm kind of curious why Capitol Police didn't shoot But I'm not about to call Capitol police. All of them Racists. I mean, that's not gonna That's not going to stop Chris Rock that was May took it on, and I'm never giving it back. One of the topics that you covered your Netflix special. Is the way I mean, talk about this for years, but the way the black people are treated by police, and when you look at compare the black lives matter, protests and how they were treated and how Troops were brought out to protect the Lincoln Memorial from black protesters and what there were tanks in the streets of various towns, including the capital, the United States, and there is shooting tear gas and rubber bullets. And then you see That there is this lightweight reaction to armed militias. What? What does that make? You think that was black Lives matter. They had like a Apache helicopters, and for this, they will do with food trucks outside. Couple things did interview he did with Stephen Colbert. I'm sorry to have to share Stephen Colbert with you, man. Do we need some late night TV? Am I right? Or am I right? You're the one Stephen Colbert, Who said that? Oh, we have to be totally hands off on Rioters right all you can't you can't respond in any kind of direct manner. Right. That was a big talking point. Me. I think you should respond to riders with force like I've been saying so for over a year. It's what should have happened in Indianapolis, and it's what should have happened at the Capitol. The Capitol Police requested backup As the system goes their request backup from the sergeant in arms, there's a sergeant arms for the House sergeant arms for the Senate. Their job is to protect the sergeant at arms of the House said No didn't like the optics. Didn't like the optics. Kind of garbage nonsense is that Sergeant arms for the Senate. Suggested he go and ask elsewhere. That's why Nancy Pelosi fired the sergeant arms of the House and Mitch McConnell requested and received the resignation. Sergeant Arms and Senate should have fired him should have fired him. Resignations are an easy way out getting fired. That's what you gotta do. They were wrong. If you're doing something because of optics, it's wrong. We've said so. A million times. I don't want a multiplicity of subjects. Thoughts don't change because it's this. I am not with some of my Other conservative friends. Now It's not so much conservatives. Conservatives say this there are those of the political right. We were like, Oh, well, you know, they should have done anything. And these were peaceful protesters. You broke into the capital. You should expect the rubber bullet. You should expect to rubber bullet. One of the big questions. Is this woman who got shot killed by police Should she have been shot and killed? I think that's a fine question. And the answer is she should never have been allowed in the building. She was in the building, and then she was breaking through a doorway. You want. You want to go the full, um World War two reference. Try this one on for size. See if this doesn't drive you crazy. Maybe that's what it took to get everybody else to stop. What happens if they didn't I'm only putting it out. There is a theory guys as something worthy of thinking about. I didn't want any of this. Nobody should want any of this. But they didn't do it because of race is so Ridic nose to nose. I would tell Chris Rocky's out of his mind. Because it's very obvious that isn't the case. Now it gets stranger. To Capitol police officers suspended several more under investigation. So one of the questions is Why were there Capitol police? Taking selfies. With These these writers And the answer is, I don't know. Maybe they were trying to keep things come beats me. It doesn't make any sense. None whatsoever. Are we going to find that there was some Capitol police officers who agreed. Maybe they did, but they had a job to do. And if they were just open the doors like, Hey, love what you do and go have some fun. Every day of the rest of their lives in jail. I'm down. Totally down. This wasn't a two and not an insurrection as I see it, but sure as heck not a coup. A coup is gonna have more than a guy dressed as a Viking. By the way, Viking guys making news and this is how I know it's not a coup. Viking guy, right? That's the guy who had the way had the fur Any other way and the horns His name's Jake and Jelly. Get something That's not his real name. His real name is Jacob Chan's Lee. But he goes by Jake Azad Agnelli orange? Yeah. Agnelli, Jake Agnelli. That's who he is. He has now been arrested. He made his first appearance in a court in Arizona for storming the Capitol. But his mom says he hasn't eaten since Friday because the detention facility won't feed him all organic food. I kid you not I kid you, not he was. He's on an extremely restrictive diet, perhaps for religious reasons and had not eaten since he was taken into custody. You think that guy could lead a coup? You think a guy who says this is have gluten? Could lead a coup. Can we stop kidding ourselves now? Anybody who would follow that guy. Deserves exactly what they get. Now it's funny. That's what some people believe about Trump supporters, and that's what some people believe about buying supporters. So it's the line give you almost anywhere. He's got dietary restrictions that he thinks he can take over a nation. Sure, whatever you say. But I saw some of those videos of Capitol police just open the doors. I'm like what in the world Capital police just walking away. No idea what I was looking at. And what I am left to believe it's Hamlin's razor. Right. Malcolm's razor is mistaken. But the popular version of it is the idea that the simplest answer is often correct. Right. That's that's Malcolm's razor 0 CC A. M. Hanlon's razor Is never a tribute to malice. What can clearly be seen the stupidity? Sacked the way I want to think about the Capitol police well. No. And you're hearing about Capitol police officers who are extremely bothered by what happened. Very upset because they're being asked what happened. They're taking it is how did this happen? And they're taking it their fault. The system failed. Not every Capitol police officer failed. So I would rather engage a conversation about that system. And ensuring it doesn't fail in the future. Because that's frightening stuff. Now it isn't the only place the system failed. The mayor of Portland failed. The mayor of Seattle failed. The mayor of Indianapolis failed. They failed. They failed the basic task of keeping the city safe. Joe Hogs had failed. Only the most irrational apologist would say otherwise..

"Are back with Mark and Rob. And lots and lots of people are asking lots and lots of questions about how on Earth yesterday's breach of security, I guess for lack of a better phrase was even allowed to happen and There's so many angles to even that, because there's a lot of people on the right who are absolutely convinced that this was like some huge set up and that Pence planned it And, you know, Antifa is in on it like that. I've seen so many different theories about how this actually went down. There's plenty of videos that are Confusing for lack of a better word, because there's there's one that I've seen floated a lot where you actually see cops seem to just wave people right on in, and we talked earlier about how we saw some of the crowd filing single file right between the rope guards, right some of it in some angles, and maybe in some parts, the building seemed to be pretty orderly, like people were sort of allowed in and then people just started filing in at a greater rate, I think than anybody anticipated. But it was terrifying for me at home, even tow Watch on TV. How easy it Woz for the mob to get in. You know what I mean? And and I say, Ma, because you can see some of the videos where people are just pushed against each other, and they're just moving is like one big wave. Of people and the fact that it happened. You know what the people's house is kind of alarming to put it mildly, that this was able to happen so I saw a tweet earlier from someone who is like I can't believe that our airports are more secure than the capital, which I didn't think was actually fair, because when you have a huge crowd of people, it doesn't matter. What building It is what this same thing would have happened at an airport if the same number of people was trying to storm the building at the same time, So you know this. The airports are secure, Sure, but no one has ever expecting a huge crowd of people to do this collectively at the same time, so there's really three points one. It's interesting because just the other day we did that story about that. Lady from Collins, Colorado. The rep who wants to carry at the at the Capitol over. Yeah, right and people. Oh, this is so ridiculous. Doesn't seem so ridiculous now, does it so certainly put in in what many people have have have said over the years that you can't count on the police to protect you. You have to be able to protect yourself, so that's certainly a very valid thing. The second thing is that we saw it here in the city of Indianapolis on that Friday night because I was downtown. When those riots started. We were having dinner down it at brothers down there and I told woman associate cause I started to see it. The crowd starting to form I said We got to go. She said. Why? I said, I'll tell you later. We got to go and I started seeing these people that we're walking and it was like this is not gonna end well and thank God we got out of there. Asked enough, but what happened Friday night? It's indisputable. They've already admitted it happened. The police had that under control in the circle. They had him They'd move forward, please and push him back. Everybody is peaceful at some point, and it wasn't the mayor, and I think we all know where Joe Hog set was at this point, then what he was doing and why he didn't make the call. That's conversation. Another day, the deputy mayor told the police and I've heard this from multiple police officers. You aren't connected. Same words Who were there? Let them march. That is the phrase that came out and when that happens when the city got destroyed, the police had it under control. They were told by the higher up, let them march and they That's what police do They do what they're told, right? So it's not trump Giving. The order is not pence. But somebody gave the order on what to do. And somebody gave the order on the staffing for that, and that person should be fired immediately. Well, and that's the thing. So there are 2300 Capitol police officers in total. I don't know how many of them are on a shift at any given time and According to some accounts, looking at the Daily Mail right now, the mayor of D C had submitted a request back on New Year's Eve for National Guard back up from January 5th through the seventh, but she was given 340 troops and they were specifically to be used for traffic control. Okay, so it wasn't like they were Arming, you know they were armed and at every door of the capital, that's not what happened. But as the Federalist reported yesterday, there's a letter from that mayor the day before yesterday, saying that she was telling law enforcement to federal law enforcement to stand down until further notice, so there was a huge amount of confusion. On day. That's why there was a delay in getting how many. It was like 1100. National Guardsmen were mobilized on and ultimately they, you know, contained and secured the building. But it was. It was chaos for awhile. But who's gonna make that call? And I think Pence's who ultimately made it. So the other thing that this teaches us and again let me be very clear. Violence is never okay. Violence is not the answer. Don't do the violence, but what we saw throughout in cities throughout this country Inn in June, and I guess it went into July and into May and what we saw yesterday because you have people all the time. Well, the government told me no, you're in control. And if enough people want to do something, there's nothing the government can or will do to stop. You Let me be very clear again. Do not be violent. Do not destroy other people's stuff. But if you want to walk somewhere, if enough people want to walk somewhere, if enough people want to protest somewhere, if enough people want to get their voice out somewhere, and it kind of goes back to these business owners who have all just arbitrarily shut down because the government Shut down and the question's been asked, And I think we see the answer. What if everyone just stayed open? The government wants you to think they're in control and you thinking they're in control is how they stay in control. But we keep getting. We keep giving getting evidence that when people do what they want to do, The government sent in control. I mean, that was very, very obvious yesterday, right? It terrifyingly obvious and just think about the different like so what? Within a couple hours the guardsmen came in. They can. They secured the building and everything got calm down. Think about Portland And some of these other cities where six city blocks were taken over and the government officials there were just like, No, This is fine. Oh, sorry. Business owners. Are you having to deal with that? But this is fine. We're gonna let them just take over the city street. Well, I was, you know, every Thing for me is because I understand it worked, You know, zoning and permits right in the government world and I used to see those videos on on when the riots were going on here and stuff. These protests during the day where people are just like laying down in the street, and it's like they would never allow an individual to just go lay in the street. Shut traffic, But there's 100 of you. What are they going to do? You are in charge, not the government. And but don't do bad thing. No, of course, that you should never be violent. You should not break the law. But it is a Hello I'm Mike Lyndall. And when I invented my pillow, I wanted to have everything you'd ever want in a pillow..
