Remembering Pearl Harbor: America Isn't What It Used to Be

"This is your podcast. For December 7th, 2022, how many youngsters do we have in the audience that don't know what that date means? Anybody? Anybody? Bueller? Do you know what December 7th means? This is what I fear about the world. About America, specifically. I don't think I would say 75% of you don't know that this is Pearl Harbor day. That 81 years ago, America was completely blindsided by Japanese warriors who tried to literally take over our country. I know, I know many of you are already lost, you know, you've seen a special or two or a documentary and a half on the history channel, but you know, you got tired and there was Instagram to look at and you got some notifications on Facebook. So, you know, you're left the TV screen, but Jesus Christ is a big day in our history. 81 years ago, which is not that long ago. Another country tried to just completely destroy us. I know, you know, we act like we're untouchable, but we're not. We're not. In fact, I think we're closer to that day than we ever have been. I think December 7th, 1941 is a day that unfortunately is going to repeat itself. Thanks to the Joe Biden administration and the assholes that he employs. And again, I'm not going to make this political, but I got to tell you what that date did. 81 years ago was make men like my father and Agatha's father and many other people's fathers. Drop everything and say, I've got to go fight. I've got to go defend this country. Because this country is everything to me. And this country is why my parents came from Italy or Ireland or Scotland or England. You name it. I had a defendant. There's just not enough people like that now. America has been watered down. We're not who will used to be.

Why We Need a New RNC Head With Liz Wheeler

"Basically just saying that when it becomes confusing, people tune out. And we do, as we were saying earlier, we need an RNC head who realizes that you can not we can not move forward unless we clarify this. You were talking about what happened in Wisconsin. Wisconsin and actually, you know, I remember what I was talking about was talking about Donald Trump said something about when somebody makes the case like, look, you know, if we know that Joe Biden and his people stole the election, there's nothing we can do about it. And he is saying in a nutshell, that's preposterous. If we know that it was stolen, we should be able to figure out a way to do something about it. And I agree with him. I don't know what that means, but it seems to me that when a wrong has been done, we have to figure out a way to make it right. Yeah, there has to be some accountability. Listen, this is how I think about statements from politicians like the one Trump made where he essentially said we should suspend the constitution and install him as president. But I'll just take you through my thought process here because right now we have the mainstream media and the left all the way up to the Biden White House condemning Trump for saying suspend the constitution. And I mean, of course it's a banana thing to say. Of course, we should not suspend the constitution. But it's funny that the left is the one crying and outrage over this because the left is, this is the same Democratic Party, the same leftist apparatus who told us that our entire country is illegitimate based on some kind of systemic racism. That's the constitution of the United States. The Declaration of Independence are racist documents that we are irredeemable just because of the color of our skin based on sins of the past. They, on a regular basis, make every effort by hook or by crook to subvert the constitution, not because they are trying in an unwise or imprudent way to correct or write some wrong. But because they want to deprive you and I, as Christian people, of our fundamental God given inherent human rights as protected by these documents. So

"Democratic senator Raphael Warnock won the Georgia runoff against Republican Herschel Walker. I Norman hall, democratic senator Raphael Warnock defeated Republican challenger Herschel Walker in the Georgia runoff election ensuring Democrats and outright majority of the Senate for the rest of president Joe Biden's term, with Warnock's second runoff victory in as many years, Democrats will have a 51 49 Senate majority gaining a seat from the current 50 50 split with John fetterman's victory in Pennsylvania. There will be divided government, however, with Republicans having narrowly flipped house control. US approves $425 million in arms sales to Taiwan

"The U.S. has approved $425 million in arm sales to Taiwan. I'm Lisa dwyer. The Biden administration has signed off on two new significant armed cells to Taiwan an approvals that are sure to rankle China. The State Department says it is approved cells worth more than $425 million of spare aircraft parts to Taiwan to support its fleet of F-16 fighters. See one 30 transport planes and other U.S. supplied weapons systems. The cells were announced just weeks after president Joe Biden met with his Chinese counterpart for talks in Indonesia in which China's increasingly aggressive behavior towards Taiwan was a major issue. China has roundly condemned previous U.S. arms sales to Taiwan and is expected to react similarly to this new announcement. I'm Lisa dwyer

Congress poised to rescind COVID-19 vaccine mandate for troops

"Congress is set to recent the COVID-19 vaccine mandate for troops, I'm Lisa dwyer. The COVID-19 vaccine mandate for members of the U.S. Military would be rescinded under the annual defense Bill heading for a vote this week in Congress. It will end a policy that helped ensure the vast majority of troops were vaccinated, but also raised concerns that it harmed recruitment and retention. Republicans emboldened by their new House majority next year have pushed the effort in negotiations, house GOP leader Kevin McCarthy personally lobbied president Joe Biden in a meeting last week to roll back the mandate more than 8000 active duty service members were discharged for failure to obey a lawful order when they refused the vaccine. "Listening to me in Georgia. And I do have a lot of listeners in Georgia. You have to vote today and you have to get everybody you know to vote. I know that there are a lot of people are dispirited. It doesn't matter. You can't act on being dispirited. You have to act on what can do good. If the Democrats have a 51 49 majority, then it doesn't matter if there's one dissenting Democrat in any Senate vote. Like Joe Manchin, it doesn't matter. For Kristen sinema, right? So it's an extremely important vote. The Republicans did not take the Senate. Calamity. Give me the damage that the Democrats are doing to the country. But I just have to repeat. There's another reason committee assignments are 50 50 now. Because the vice president only matters in voting, but not in committee assignments.

Holding the FBI and Twitter Accountable With Miranda Devine

"With Republicans taking over the House of Representatives, how should they handle all this? What would your recommendation be for oversight and, I mean, for holding also the FBI and the people at Twitter accountable. I mean, someone's got to go to jail at some point for this Miranda, right? Well, yeah, but first, first things first, they really have to get the information out there and find out, use the power that they have to look in places that we can't look at with their subpoena power with their ability to look into treasury files and follow the money. So that's crucial following the money. And I think they seem to be doing all the right things for one thing, James comer is making it crystal clear that this is not an investigation about Hunter Biden. It's about Joe Biden. And the reason that's so important is that, you know, all the millions of dollars that flowed into Biden family coffers during Joe's vice presidency from China from Russia from Ukraine from Kazakhstan. Have they compromised? Has that money compromised the president, Joe Biden now, you know, that's a really important question, particularly since Joe Biden has continually denied that he knew anything about his son or his brothers overseas business dealings. He met with at least a dozen of Hunter Biden's overseas business partners, and he met them in Beijing. He met them in Mexico. He met them in Washington, D.C. at that dinner I told you about he invited some to his residence, the vice presidential residence in Washington, D.C., to The White House. So there's a lot of evidence, not just from the laptop, but from tidy bubble linsky, from other of Hunter Biden's former partners who are all not feeling very happy about the way they've been treated.

Cracking Open the Twitter Files With Emma-Jo Morris

"Joining us now is Emma Joe Morris, one of the original people who broke the Hunter Biden laptop story. She broke the original October 14th story, which I'll never forget that day because that's my birthday. And she's formally with the New York Post and she's the political editor at breitbart, breitbart dot com, and does a wonderful job. Emma, I'm a Joe. Welcome to the program. Thank you. Thank you so much for having me. And what a crazy thing that that's your birthday. I never knew that. Isn't that nuts? I will personally never forget your birthday. There you go. It is a day that will always be remembered. So why don't we go back in time? Let's talk about my birthday two years ago. I'm kidding. In our reality, what happened that day? What was the significance of that day? The story you broke, and then the reaction happened after. Yeah, so I was, you know, me and Miranda kind of broke the story together and we worked together a lot behind the scenes to get it to the pages of the New York Post, but I broke the news side story and marauder wrote the column that went with it. On October 14th, we broke the first story in the series that is now known as the laptop from hell. So your story then triggered Twitter censoring it on for 16 days, right? From October 14th to October 30th. So basically the real meat of the election when things are really being discussed and real decisions are being made, so talk about that. What was the reason they gave you why they locked your account at the time? So yeah, so there was two separate things that were kind of going on simultaneously. The first was the censorship of the story where as we learned this weekend that Twitter had applied the rules to the New York Post story about the laptop from hell. As they would for child porn on the site, that was when Matt taibbi, one of the revelations that he had in his Twitter thread about the internal communications of Twitter at that time. So they were treating the New York Post linked to the story like child born. And at the same time as doing that, they had locked the New York Post out of their official Twitter account. And that was what went on for 16 days the New York Post did not have access to its Twitter account. It could not tweet from its account because it refused to delete the original link of the story, which is what got it locked in the first place.

The FBI Was Intimately Involved in Twitter Censorship...

"Was intimately involved. In making sure the correct people knew at Twitter that this story was coming in to set the standard to lay the foundation. To be able to censor the story. I want to get to a piece of tape here. Boy, there's so much tape to play. Do you remember in one of the most famous consequential transparent chilling alarming interviews in recent history? Remember when Chuck Schumer Chuck E. Schumer? Went on the Rachel maddow program. This was right before Donald Trump was sworn into president. I think it was January 7th, January 4th, 2017, the date does matter because remember, that's right near the famous Oval Office meeting between Joe Biden and Loretta lynch and Barack Hussein Obama, January 3rd, 2017. Thank you. And Chuck Schumer, you just a visual. He's leaning in. He's got his glasses on his nose. And he has that snarly intense, but almost mafioso tone to him. You feel as if he's almost bragging about an upcoming hit, is that a mob family has on an unsuspecting bystander. The arrogance that's not even the right word, the arrogance, it's the confidence he has. The hubris, the smugness of it, Donald Trump pretends to be such a businessman. But he should know better because you're about to pick a fight you won't win. Play cut 13. You take on the intelligence community. They have 6 ways from Sunday at getting back at you. So even for a practical supposedly hard nosed businessman, he's being really dumb to do this. Being really dumb to do this. That's a threat. And that's Chuck Schumer giving a preview giving a little bit of a teaser campaign, if you will. Of what happens when you try to destroy or you try to criticize the intelligence community. You

How Twitter Came to Censor the Hunter Biden Laptop Story

"Friday evening, Elon Musk decided to do a very courageous thing. Friday evening, Elon Musk decided to leak via Matt taibbi. Link is not even the right word. Report on or distribute is probably the better word. What exactly happened in the 2020 election? With Joe Biden, Hunter Biden, the Hunter Biden laptop story. What was the role of Twitter in covering up the great story of a generation? And what we now have confirmation where we have learned is one of the most unethical should be illegal, government, private sector, operations of collusion that we've ever seen in the 2016 election they tried to smear Donald Trump as a Russian agent. The Federal Bureau of Investigation. Worked with the dirty dossier Department of Justice Marc Goliath Perkins cooey. That failed. Donald Trump still won, but then they used that to be fake Russia investigation against Donald Trump. Go on to 2020, it looked like Donald Trump was going to win reelection. But then of course, remember, the economy got locked down, Fauci infiltrated his way into The White House and despite all of it, it wasn't a clear shot for the Democrats. They were running up against their running someone who was not able to speak in sentences, they were running somebody who was incoherent, unable to campaign, and so as we moved into the 2020 election cycle, we did not know that there was a shadow campaign that was operating. I'm not talking about the mark Elias shadow campaign of the ballot harvesting ballot trafficking, lack of signature verification. I'm not talking about the shadow campaign written by Molly ball in Time Magazine. Now I'm talking about the shadow campaign that was ten months in the making, a year before the Hunter Biden laptop story was reported on. The Federal Bureau of Investigation got their hands on the laptop. And instead of investigating Hunter Biden and Joe Biden for selling out our country, what launched was a preemptive cover up operation. You see, by giving the laptop to the FBI, some of us thought they did nothing with it. There was a belief that, well, you know, you have the laptop they're going to ignore it. They did the opposite of ignore the Hunter Biden laptop story. It worked up the ranks in the FBI and they realized that there was a political Thermo nuclear weapon out there that could prevent Joe Biden from becoming president and that very well might get Donald Trump reelected. They figured and they postulated the FBI working with Biden allies that they probably made a copy of this laptop. It probably was not illegally obtained. So for months, they started to pre bunk the story.

"So eventually he contacted many months later Rudy Giuliani by email gave him chapter in verse screenshots of material on the laptop and the FBI knew the laptop was real They knew that John Paul Mac Isaac was a legitimate guy and so they were pre warned about this story that was going to come out involving Joe Biden from the material on hunter to laptop And they also would have had access to my messages with Rudy Giuliani in October in which they would have found out that the post was working on the story roughly when we were going to publish and roughly what we were going to be publishing So they had a good reason if they wanted to bury this story to pre bunker with the social media platforms And the other part of this that a lot of people haven't picked up But James baker who is the former general counselor in top lawyer at the FBI 5 months before the 2020 election he gets parachuted into Twitter Their top lawyer So he's still there And so you know when Elon Musk authorized the Twitter files to be jumped on Friday there was one thing missing and that was FBI involvement

"One of the other components of this story that's being squashed by the media And one that I think is explosive as well is that the FBI was watching Rudy Giuliani's traffic likely in live time through some through a warrant to spy on his iCloud So when Rudy Giuliani who had this information about the Hunter Biden laptop the FBI almost had like the defensive and offensive playbook for the other team in advance So then they go out every time they're watching Giuliani probably send a message whether they're getting it in live time or on delay and they essentially know what the political oppo research on Joe Biden's going to be and then they go to the tech companies and squash it That's a part of this story that's strangely outside a conservative media been largely sidelined Yeah Amazing curiosity from the rest of the media from the left wing media because of course they're all in the tank for the Democrats and it's embarrassing to them because not only did they run the Russia collusion hoax and get political for it they then kiboshed our Hunter Biden story and have had to reluctantly a year or two later sort of admit that it was right And so we know that the FBI was spying on Rudy Giuliani throughout 2020 Of course Rudy Giuliani at that stage was had been the personal lawyer of Donald Trump So this covert surveillance warrant began a month after he took that job And then they would have had access to the emails in August of 2020 from the computer pay shop owner John Paul Mackay Isaac who had given the FBI Hunter Biden's laptop And he was concerned that the FBI had not really treated his national security concerns

"So your book was prophetic I'm hoping you're getting a lot of apologies today or I wouldn't hold your breath You wrote the book about the Hunter Biden laptop a long time ago and I wanted your opinion on this The media folks out there right now They're ironically highlighting what the biggest portion in my opinion of this scandal is They're trying to say oh it's not indicative of government involvement what Elon released the map taibi It's a political campaign the Biden campaign trying to squash this information There's no government involvement But Miranda that's really not true We already know that the FBI according to Mark Zuckerberg and according to Twitter Yoel Ross statement that the FBI was meeting with these people and was warning them about this Hunter Biden story even though they knew it was accurate That's the First Amendment scandal here Exactly I mean the FBI is the federal government And the federal government can not do that They can not instruct a private company to censor the views and the news and the information of private citizens American citizens So that's absolutely true And we know that the FBI warned Twitter during weekly meetings that were having before the 2020 election to expect that they would be hacked material by state actors AKA Russia involving Hunter Biden and likely to happen in October And of course in October of 2020 came our story our exclusive at the New York Post about Hunter Biden's laptop which implicated Joe Biden in his family's overseas international influence peddling scheme And so they had to crush that because it would probably have likely have damaged Joe Biden's presidential ambitions

AJ's Childhood Was Shaped by the Egos of New York Sporting Heros

"And sometimes I think, no, sometimes I know my childhood was shaped by the egos of the athletes and the legends who played for New York teams. And made their predictions come true. Put it that way. Imagine I'm a young kid, right? You know, what the fuck was I? Ten years old, 9 years old. I'm wearing a Joe Namath, New York jet, Jersey, and then he tells the world that he's gonna beat the Baltimore colts in the Super Bowl, and when he did exactly that, what do you think that did to a little boy like me? What do you think, what do you think? I don't know what part of the country you're from, wherever you're listening, you could be from another part of the world. But if you were from New York during my era, let's call it 19 70 to 1990 or whatever. We had some big gigantic egos that fueled our New York teams. And by doing that, they fueled a lot of boys like me. Then what do you think ego meant to me back then? It clearly meant that it was something that I had to possess to achieve the impossible because I saw my heroes doing it.

"So the best way to explain is if I have like ten $1 bills and you have ten $1 bills and somebody picks up all of them and then they redistribute them and they give you ten new ones and they give me new ten new ones. You're not going to say like, oh, I want the one with serial number that ends in zero 5 because that was mine because dollars are fungible, which means I can exchange my dollar for your dollar at your dollar for my dollar and nothing it doesn't matter. They're exchangeable equally. Non fungible means if I have a dollar, my dollar is special and your dollar is not. So that's when you get into things like trading cards or beanie babies or pet rocks, things that have a unique value. You know, if I have like a special anime card or a special magic of the gathering card and you don't have that magic the gathering card, that's non fungible. I can't just give you mine and you'll give me any other one back. So these non fungible tokens are representations of unique items. And the way that they're defined is in what's called a smart contract. This item only exists and is only owned by this one person. For example, gotcha, gotcha. Okay, I get it. I understand it now. Okay. Thank you so much for that explanation. There's a lot of economic theory and there are a lot of disciplines that all merge in together to form crypto and you really have to be multidisciplinary, which I was not before I started learning about all this stuff. You really have to learn a lot to try to fit your brain into what is actually going on in crypto. Now, where do you see, I guess, web three with all of this. I keep hearing web three being called the technological evolution of the Internet. Yeah, so web three, you know, it's funny because as a software engineer, I'm always thinking like, okay, what is the most basic thing? Web three is a library that was created that literally all it does is let you interact with this blockchain, right?.

"Is there'll be a website fill in the name of big website dot com and they will create a database and they will entice you to get on that database somehow some way. And what happens is you have these network effects, which the more people that are on that website in their database, the more people want to go to that website and get in their database. So you know you've got Facebook, Twitter, Amazon, Google, Apple. They all have the same kind of network effects. And so what happens is the sites or these services get to a certain level of scale where you start to realize that if you're a consumer, the one individual consumer doesn't really matter as much. Because you don't own the data. And I actually saw this in 2011. The first company that I worked for when I went to Silicon Valley, we were a startup, and we used to collect Twitter data as well as other social media network data. And then we would filter the data, and then we would sell insights to companies that were our partners. So we had like Bentley was one of our partners and a bunch of high level apple was one of our partners. So we would sell them information about what's happening on Twitter. Well, once Twitter realizes, hey, there's a business here. Twitter wants to roll that into their business. So they just cut off the pipeline. They had Twitter had this service called a fire hose. They just stopped the fire hose, and then they just run the fire hose internally. They build this business internally, they sell ads internally, and then they use that as a revenue generator internally. And so there's this kind of like push and pull between this open-source ecosystem of people that are developers and that are creative and that are actually contributing to the platform. And the internal team that is trying to make money any way, shape, or form, to return the fund for the investors. And you started to see this more and more often on the developer side from 2010 until it still actually going on now, where, you know, with Facebook, there was the whole app net controversy where somebody wanted to build an App Store for Facebook using Facebook's API and Facebook said, no, we're building that ourselves and that violates our terms of service..

And by the way, people are like, I'm gonna listen to Joe Rogan, not a doctor. Joe Rogan's not giving the advice assholes. He has real doctors who have been working for many years to help people. They're giving the advice. These are real doctors, so why are they being discounted? They're doctors, man. The funniest part is hundreds of doctors writing a letter to Spotify when they should be figuring out how to fix COVID quicker and treat their patients better. But no, let's write a letter to Spotify. I don't care about hundreds of doctors or what they say. I care about the guests in the know that Joe Rogan has on. If that makes you sound crazy, so be it. In this day and age, doctors would actually be so knowingly dishonest and a comedian could be more honest. That makes me insane. You know, there's like a joke where a daughter comes home and tells your father, dad, I don't want to be with that doctor, but I found the comedian. I'm in love with most fathers would go, honey, honey, honey honey. Reconsider the doctor. I'm sure the comedian's a nice guy, but you've got to be taken care of. If you need a roof over your heads, blah, blah, blah. But now you got these comics we're making a lot of sense and doctors aren't. It's a big switcheroo. I'd rather be a comedian right now than they have more honor and more honesty. So no one has taken advice from Joe Rogan. As I said, the professional doctors he has on the show on the other hand have a right to speak and offer their professional opinion and they can't be shouted down. Did these doctors forget how many times Anthony Fauci is lied and turned out to be incorrect and his assertions over and over and over again? And they would like that to be the only source of information anyone is allowed to ever get. I think these people need a mental health checkup. You know, maybe he was onto something, you know, when he said that these people are operating, maybe Malone was onto something when he said that people are operating under this mass formation psychosis. I don't care who those doctors are, but I hope I'm never under any of their care. Stand strong Spotify. I appreciate we should all applaud them for how they've reacted to this dangerous and bullshit cancel culture in the past and hopefully they can't be shoved this time around either. But the doctors in this letter to Spotify should instead just take focus on the real issues that more and more people are less and less inclined to put their trust in the hands of the news media and doctors like you and why is that? Well, you tell us, you got a personal Joe Rogan giving all kinds of people a platform to talk about ideas and opinions. That's not the problem. That's something great for all humankind. Not only Americans, humankind, the real problem here is the sad truth that our trust in people in white coats is starting to seem less trustworthy because of the few doctors who are willing to compromise their integrity for money or social media followers, et cetera. It's making all doctors look bad when let's face it. I know most doctors are fantastic and give up their lives to help all of us, but there's so many bad ones lately on the take I feel like that they've given a bad name to the whole goddamn profession. And let's not forget doctor Malone is one of the creators of the RNA vaccines. And he has to prove to show it down your throat. His podcast wrote his podcast is one of the only untrustworthy one of the only trustworthy forms of information these days. Anyway you go. Doctor Malone, that's my niece upstairs running around like an elephant. Doctor Malone is 1 millions and millions in grants over the years. He is old world and his field and they're telling him to shut up.

"I appreciate what Joe Rogan does. But I don't find him funny, but I find him very interesting and very important right now in our culture. 'cause right now he's an absolute American hero. He destroyed their entire narrative in one podcast. You know, 'cause now it sounds like the coronavirus sham is being revealed. And people are waking up. Not that the coronavirus was a sham, but all the things we've had to do around it have been a sham. Just another last ditch propaganda effort to once again silence the truth. The people who control you don't like to be questioned in fear that the controlled will wake up from their delusion and that's what's happening all day every day. More and more people are waking up. "Don't have. He doesn't stand out to me. That frigging haircut is always so perfectly done. Listen, I guess every guy got that type. And if he wasn't super wealthy and talented, I don't think he'd have a lot of girls after him. I just don't. Now this next story, I'm very concerned. I want to bring this up because a group of I think 270 scientists, professors, doctors, healthcare workers. They wrote an open letter to Spotify. The home of Joe Rogan and others, mainly Joe Rogan though. Expressing concern about his false and societally harmful assertions that come about on his program, the Joe Rogan experience. And Rolling Stone first reported on this letter and these professionals are asking Spotify to establish a clear and public policy to moderate misinformation on its platform, meaning can you shut your rogue up so the whole group of these doctors and everybody else, what they're taking issue with is the fact that Joe Rogan has a penchant for they say broadcasting misinformation, particularly regarding the COVID-19 pandemic. Now, this group calls out mainly their anger and concern over a controversial episode. I hope you all heard it. Joe Rogan had doctor Robert Malone on episode 1757. People in the industry of medicine, many of them have criticized the episode for promoting baseless conspiracy theories. This is what's in the letter. It goes on to note that doctor Malone was suspended from Twitter for spreading misinformation about COVID-19. Oh, fuck that. Twitter suspends people from whatever they want us to spend them for. I got thrown off for life for saying Muslims throw gaze off roofs and sometimes they have sex with sheep. That was it. I was gone. Never to be able to come back again. Did I make something up that I lied? No, I didn't lie. I told true truths, but I'm gone. And doctors and the threat professionals are saying that Malone doctor Malone used his time on Rogan's podcast to promote an unfounded theory that societal leaders have hypnotized the public. Malone talked about something called mass psychosis, which is what I think he's a 100% accurate in with what's happening around the country and the world, but America especially. It's getting ridiculous here. I should say Australia more than any place else, but I live in America and it's getting bad here. Although today, good news, the Supreme Court told Joe Biden. We ain't doing that vax that that mask mandate. You can forget that. The vaccine mandate? No, we're not doing it. That's a big win for people like us who don't think you need to be told what to do at work. But the letter goes on to say, doctor Malone is one of the two recent Joe Rogan guests who have compared pandemic policies to the Holocaust. These actions are not only objectionable and offensive, but also medically and culturally dangerous. Listen, Joe Rogan's got the most listened to podcasts in America. He's no stranger to the COVID controversy. He had it. He went about his own way to get rid of it and he did it. He got into a public war of words with Doctor Fauci last year over this whole assertion about vaccination on the show. Joe said, I don't think that if you're a young healthy person, you need to jab. Many, many people feel like that. I do. Many of you do as well. Now when Joe is sick, he took Ivermectin, he took monoclonal antibodies. He took, I think, some kind of steroids. I believe he took God damn something else. Basically, maybe hydrochloroquine. He did all the steps and Joe's got all sorts of stuff in his cabin as he can reach out to anybody and get anything. So he washed his system with that. I don't think he missed a day of work. He was feeling funny, satellite, and by Monday he was fine. And then when Dana White, the head of the UFC, felt like he had, well, he knew he got COVID. He asked Joe, what do I take? Joe basically said, do this, do this, do this to this, and Dana White said I missed maybe a half a day at work. It's just nonsense. And they're given Rogan a lot of shit because, you know, he said he took Ivermectin, which this article goes out of the way to say, I remember to choose the animals as a dewormer. Yeah, okay, fine. But it's also used on humans for decades and it's always been very effective. They know that. They know that. But the left can't let that image go that we're taking cow cattle dewormer. That's what makes us sound so crazy. That's why Jimmy Kimmel can't wait to mention every fucking chance he gets. It's so stupid. I remember him as used on human beings for decades as one of the best drugs we have out there. The left can't let it go. They know how successful that drug has been for decades. They know, they don't care. Doesn't suit the narrative. Now on one hand, I love this. Rogan is famous for calling himself a knucklehead, a comet who calls UFC fights, but he clearly knows that power his shell wheels, and now what I love about it is that the mainstream media and the center for disease control, and Doctor Fauci, and the NIH, and The White House, all the assholes, they're falling apart. The media erupts set, Joe Rogan has more viewers than ABC NBC CBS Fox, MSNBC. Nobody watches those channels anymore, regularly. So I love this. I mean, Jesus Christ since January 6th of 2021. To January 6th of 2022, CNN lost, are you ready? 90% of their audience. Because people have had enough of their lives. Now, I enjoy I enjoy, I enjoy a bunch of Joe's podcasts. I don't listen to the ones with fighters. It's not up my alley. I'm getting kind of bored with hearing the same bunch of friends always being invited on to talk about the same kind of shit. There's a few of them I like, but I don't like to get into the three guys that once talking that doesn't do anything for me. But occasionally, when he hasn't a fascinating guest on like a Robert Malone, it's great. Now I don't find Joe Rogan funny at all. I've never found to be a comedian in my book. I've never laughed in a single joke he's told. I'm not into pot humor. But maybe 5 years ago, my nephew, Joey was like, you gotta listen to Joe Rogan's podcast. I'm like, I got no time for podcasts. He goes, bro, I'm telling you. When you go into bed when you want your car, just get, you know, go online, get how do you even get a podcast? I had no idea. You just go online, you sign up for the day, you know, Apple podcasts. I'm like, what do you do? He goes, listen to his podcast. I was so like, I'm not doing podcasts. It's a fan. Here we are. Here we go, 45 years later. But, you know, I appreciate what Joe Rogan does. But I don't find him funny, but I find him very interesting and very important right now in our culture. 'cause right now he's an absolute American hero. He destroyed their entire narrative in one podcast. You know, 'cause now it sounds like the coronavirus sham is being revealed. Miami was my favorite dish at denny's where we discussed everything from denny's to mall checks to camping late night. Talk shows and so much more but we. We decided to do some camping. And it's always hit or miss with the camp spot right. Usually you hit. This was a bit of a mis- i could hit a seven iron to denny's it wasn't we didn't know that there was going to be a denny's there when you go onto these hip camps or these wise that a bad thing when you're camping you you're out in the most beautiful places in your away from everything. I just a sports psychologist for my upcoming golf tournament. In ta shu did i did. I did you also did his. Name's jason silk. He used to do. He lives in saint. Louis used to do a lot of the cardinals and now he's he's grown beyond well beyond saint louis. He's written a couple of books. One of which i read another one. I'm waiting to read. And then we did zoom. Call about things that i need to. Let's do let's dive into this right fucking now so curious. How did this start lot. The started because i can play great golf and then show up at an event like this and just completely lose my mind in go a hundred miles an hour which is all about performance anxiety and it's the only time i have it like if i do We talked a lot about broadcasting. And if i do a super bowl for one hundred ten million people. I have zero performance anxiety. It's live. it should be the most dangerous time of my career and it should be the most challenging and the most worrisome and it it. I just don't have that. I'm excited to do it. Yeah i'm a little bit nervous. But it's but i tend to thrive in those situations and now here. I am playing in a you. Know sloppy golf tournament in tahoe. And i care more about the results For that which is absurd. Nobody cares the only person that really cares is me and three of my friends. You being one of them who are going to either give me shit or say. Hey great plan and beyond that five seconds later. Nobody cares So i i saw him like. Why do i care so much and how do i. How do i slow down to perform better. When it's not what i do for a living and you know talking about centering breaths and talking about. It's almost. It's almost like transcendental. Meditation which i learned from my friend tayo and having that mantra and repeating that mantra and having something that just kind of brings you back to center and your non you know when you have performance anxiety or your you know. He works with major league baseball players and football players and track and field athletes. Your heart rate goes up and when your heart and ring goes up because you're nervous. Everything speeds up and you're not performing like you typically do and trying to flush a lot of that as best you can is. Why ended up seeing him so i got a lot of different thoughts. Different clues something. I'm working on every day. Which i think will actually helped me in life as much as as it'll help me in the upcoming golf tournament and and i i do think i honestly care less now about the results than i ever have. But i've been in combo this for the last month working on it. I'm i'm playing as well as i can play going into it. And then we'll see if i can maintain that kind of level For an event that nobody really cares about. And i have no chance of winning anyway so it it just silly. That's great though. That's fine. I would love to see a sports psychologist i i mean. I need any psychologist but like a sports psychologist. How much does it relate to just regular psychology going to lower and how much is just regular. Yeah i think a lot because he asked some questions that made me think about things in ways that i never have and and doing what i do for a living in talking. Live into a microphone in front of that many millions of people every week you know realizing a lot of things that i've done that that i tend to not really even notice and almost take for granted and i think in the outside world. He's like you know you don't need to be one of the best at more than one thing in life and this beyond your own mind. Nobody there really cares how you play. In fact you're more relatable if you don't play well so who cares. It doesn't matter but it was more involved in that and having a six I'll just give you this. One part that that. I think is helpful having a centering breath that you pull down into your low belly for six long seconds hold for to let out for seven so it's six to seven and having that breath just fill you up down into your belly. Hold for two seconds and then let out for seven seconds is a way to just calm your heartbeat and go back to kind of where the present instead of you know. I think a lot of times when i play golf. I hit a bad shot. You should be able to flush it and let that go and now the only thing that should matter is the next shot. Will i go to the next shot thinking about the shot that already happy. And that's sets. That's so counterproductive. So so is the breath. The breath is supposed to be done like just before the shot. Meaning like as you're the shot and he's like okay. Go ahead and do it. And i'm like you know doing and he's like okay. I try to do it where it doesn't look like you're hyperventilate. Like nobody would nobody would know. You are actually taking imagine because by the way for everyone listening. This shit is televised. So i hope they catch joe doing some hard core aggress site breath. Who's.

"Like batman cover and this is already hobart. There's either outside the chappie today. Lindsay is all i can think about is the dick van. And that's group chat standby he would be so bad at it anyway. I would like to put over one little thing. A one slightly logged thing. I watched the documentary about roddy. Roddy piper this week I watched a couple of them and they've been fine. They're all way too long. But the piper one. I think weirdly was freed up a little bit by his not being in it sadly. Because he's no longer with us. They use a bunch of archive footage. They interviewed all of his family and they interviewed everyone in the industry who loves him. Which is everyone. I will say you've got to get past the opening segment. Which is vince pretending to coal. Roddy in heaven. But i get through it and i also say treat yourself. He fully picks up mobile phone and pretends to call rhodesian heaven and asked him to save him a seat at the table and then throws his mobile phone across. The room is like rotties in heaven. He's not in hell and then that's just how they opened the show. So you gotta get past. Vince is ugly. Irma's tie and go to get past that and then you're just on a joyous two hours of celebrating one of the greats and then the other thing i want to put over is a we to peleton Because either my husband loves me or hates me depending on how you feel about those commercials peleton and johnny gano is built on as a public profile and he tweeted about this ages ago to say come. Follow me on peleton. Let's hold each other accountable for fitness. And i do every day. Johnny got who does not do it every day. Johnny go noodles it once a week. I know this. Because i am following him. He only does alex sunglasses. And that's cool. That's legit choice. But come follow me. And johnny hug on on on. Let's all work out together. Brothers it's great. It's a magical time. The good thing is now that you've pelivan. I'm sure this is the only time we'll ever hear about it. Yes i mean. I basically my new choice is to either mention the pelivan. All the time or become vegan mentioned that the only two things that i can ever know about me for those of you. Don't if i mentioned it john out there who don't know what peleton is. Imagine if it was a bike i wanna put over. Don't leave. I'm going to tell you about it. I wanna put over that west sides story segment for the royal rumble. And i want you to watch it and you'll figure for yourselves while you will never see it on peacock on saturday off. I can't believe you actually did it. Get cut sometimes wind up on the show. You guys. yeah. I mean. I i wanted to put it over just because i remember the segment. I didn't remember that part of it until the break. But i still. It is so stupid and ridiculous. You should watch vince talking to roddy in heaven then what story clip then go watch the pipe uneven niamey match and just like cleanse yourself klenge itself but then realized that batman is the hero that your vagina deserves but not the one that needs right now so we'll haunted because he can take it because he's not a hero he eats. Ask though that does it. For this week fights your host daniel radford and lindsay calc along with me how loveline you can follow me out how loeb went on all the social. I'm not on peleton. But you can also watch the thrilling adventure hour fund around that we did and watch me the very first time i was ever on the stage. The.

"Me when i'm talking to you. Need to listen to your advocate. He's protecting you from me. Because in his heart deep down at the bottom of his soul he knows. I'm the one eyed the man. Hey you look at me. When i'm talking to you or we could straighten this out. Imagine someone walking brought leser a you look at me while i'm talking to you and having the balls to pull that off like you're saying he was the one at that time who you believed my actually do this because he believed he might actually do this. I mean he believed he was gonna do it right. That's the thing with. Joe is conviction complete an utter conviction. He is so certain of everywhere that comes out of his mouth or eventually he got hurt. He did have an injury history coming in and those got the better of him during his time there. But they transitioned him to commentary and immediately became the commentator the best color commentator that they had available and they have they have some good ones. Beth phoenix very very good. Even even corey graves for a time was good at it but samoa joe just again. He believe everything he say. He comes from a place of authority so the things he tells you. He's educating you as you watch. He's just one of those guys who makes everything that he touches. Better including commentary equity including how house. Wendy doolan now. It feels like this version of samoa. Joe is being set up to be the guy who takes belt off of carrying cross. Now that's my gut reaction seeing that is he's not going to be able to touch carrying cross. It's gonna take a long time. And and the blow of the storyline will be william regal firing him so that he can and attack carrying cross wrestle him. That feels like i just it watching it. I was like oh. That's where this ends. I see the end of the story right now. Right here am. I am item my mind i want it now that you said it i i'd be fine with it. The this is the magical thing about the story line. It feels like we are at the beginning of a very cool. I don't play chess but like we're a very cool chess game where could go in. So many believe directions and all of them are good like he could be carrying cross and then vacate. The how great would it be if he took the title of cross and then was like. I don't even want this. I can't eating wrestle. But i just i had to take the offer you and then vacated and even that would be amazing and you just send carrying cross up up and away like a fucking jellicoe cat like not even to the main roster just put them in a balloon and setting him up to the sun but get him out my next he is. He doesn't belong there But i do. I genuinely think they could do so many fantastic things with them all of them involved taking the title off carry across well well before we wrap the segment up. We asked you the nation conversation. What you thought about show here. A few of your comments. Stephen ball said the joe laid the groundwork wrestling today with matches against guys like punk. Christopher daniels and others certainly helped usher in the is was one of the forefathers of the modern style of wrestling that we see today he was out there doing it than the x division kind of hard to argue with that and then david on twitter should a great story about a time where he was actually undergoing chemotherapy and had to miss a local show. That joe is going to be on but then thanks to one of his friends. Joe actually called him up to chat and signed an eight by ten photo for him. Now it's one thing to do the signed photo but to actually take the time to call and say hello. That tells you a lot that despite who who the side of samoa joe that we see as a performer that he is a kind decent human being and not only that but where was that local show where was that local show token place. It was in the message that local show was taking place in donka. It wasn't donnie. So we have actual final confirmation. That samoa joe is the hardest mound in doncaster. He's the cock of the walk. These the coca donnie. He's gonna take karen cross down. Yeah take that. Batman let us know what you thought about samoa joe on all our social media networks via the links in our show notes and when we come back we've got three things from the world wrestling that you should know about. That's up next on.

"Like we're making a lot of promises tonight including one to come home talking the kids but guess what daddy's already done night think about this. I think it was the summer of twenty eighteen. Twenty seventeen twenty eighteen when brock had the title yet again and he wrestled a series of matches against people. There were just setting him up for later on and braun. Strowman was one of the guys. He wrestled and that match felt like like. You never thought brown was gonna win of those people. Samoa joe was the only one who i felt should have beaten brock. Leser and everything from the way that they built that program which was a one month program where he starts choking out brock and putting him to sleep in the middle of the ring and almost beats him came clearly. They booked him to come. The closest of any of those people just tells you sort of how he is and he was one of those guys. It took him ten years from the he signed with tna to get to wwe like officially put out a roster somewhere and and according to legend he was someone that was recommended to vince. Multiple times as someone to hire get on the roster. But that vince considered to be just another out of shape. Samoan here in quotes in the script. But we don't verify the source allegedly button from way too. Many people come on come. A- i heard about richard gere and joe from a lot of people but we gotta hit the alleged he was like he's not related to the rock. Sorry i don't think there's a place for you here so we that in two thousand eight hundred eighty does come to an xt wins. The title twice has a series a great matches. Because he's samoa joe. I think this was the best run that he had. It is time a wrestling. wwe's main roster stuff wasn't bad it just didn't there's no once you get an annexed. I think you have more room and part of that may be smaller pond but part of that also may be booked differently or combination of the two. Because once you get to. Wwe it's just there's too many people get in line. We'll my memories of him on the main roster say memories as though it was like but it's all promos like i remember matches in annexed. He and his promo remember the whole package whereas in on process off i mainly remember. I'm not saying he didn't have brilliant matches. But it says promos sing out to me and when again we talked to louis nation on the old graham and a bunch of people said the same thing. No-one said i loved this match. And i'm sure there are people out there now screaming but i did love x match but the the thing that jumped to everyone's mind i and it was the same with me his promo work for one of my favorites when he was cutting a promo on leslie and turned around. You look at.

"My neck my back. Welcome to tights and fights the show. The discuss these wrestling with sincerity hilarity deserves. I'm the ec- loop ec love. How lublin and i'm joined today by my fellow members of the nation of conversation the rattus woman on the dannatt danielle radford. Okay you can't you start to song and then you don't tell me what you did. The rest of the lyrics would have been. Oh batman will tell you we're also joined by the celtics says the was the celtics are ever welby lindsay calc. I i love him so much. I just watched the running five documentary anyways a lot and it made me happy because there was a happy one talk about it more later but i love him. Thank you yes. Sorry another pay per view this past weekend because It was seven days after the last one. You wait till next week. When i'm only two weeks you think on sunday i'm gonna watch sell. No i will not be. I'm on vacation. Two weeks off no out. We had annexed takeover in your house. Twenty twenty one complete with todd pettingill. Here's my all right. i just go to. I just want to come out swinging on this one. They set up this room. That looks like a recording booth but it is like his head is in a fucking bucket with the echoes. Going on and i know the. Wwe production crew is really good at their job but it was like hold on. Just tell you what blade eight that it drives me fucking insane as a group of people who have all at one time or another recorded podcasts. In cupboards it was a little upsetting wasn't net. They weren't even trying. Yeah i think my favorite part of the whole thing and it was a good. It was good. Show was beth. Phoenix's goal tuxedo one hundred percent one hundred the best those the best part what what matches in particular stood out. The danielle what was your number one moment in the show it was my one but lee martinez was pretty good l. La night and camera. Grimes was pretty decent as well. I i mean overall. It was a pretty good card. It just didn't. It wasn't hitting on all cylinders for me personally. What fell short avenue. Now all of the matches just seemed a little. I don't know if it was under energy or what it was but it just felt a little wake but it's also i think ending at what was it. Five dudes many just white dudes just five white nudes. Well mostly full four dudes and then that one big dude that one who just came in at the last minute because he couldn't hang with the other dudes but he's a champion so that makes sense in wrestling logic doesn't it but it's still annex t. Yeah so it's still like a good show. It's just maybe was just me. And i was just like not feeling it because of it's been a little warm leads. What do you think i am agree with. Danielle i enjoyed it. Fell a little flat to me. I don't know in particular why i think i mean. They had a lot of new people on the card. And i think we are in that bill period again with an x. C. which is no bad thing casino. Everything has a season. The women's matches when the new rule women or at least women who haven't been there as long on the main event as often. I did ask the nation of conversation on instagram. What they thought of the show and earth to make us just read my mind and sorry into my soul when they said they were impressed. That pete done didn't get one spot of spray tan on that white gear. And i've gotta give him props for that because that's that's that was also in my thoughts but you nice of him to a england football teams by gear and then to lose much like the england. Football team will probably within the next couple of suckers happening people's so yeah i enjoyed it. I enjoyed a lot of match and then the rest of it was fine. I i feel a little bit of both your feeling and our friends on instagram and part of it is is yes roster building happening. The other part is we're kind of on the road to their summer takeover. So there isn't going to be anything huge. You just sorta mixing worth that point. Where we're there scientists pouring liquids from one beaker. Another to see how they react and see what happens. And sometimes you get great stuff. I thought the ladder match was was great. I don't think anybody's gonna gonna put it up. There is an old timer. Because they didn't jump through a flaming bag packed five teams. They both really committed. And it was super fun. They are to who really want to put on a good show and they are just complete pros and i loved the opening match to you. The sixth tag. That was yeah. That was really fun. I loved that promo. That was so great. What about canada. Look if you go up and down the roster you're not gonna find bad matches it's just. There's nothing to get excited about. Because nothing here is the blow off to a huge feud the ember moon versus raquel gonzalez. There's no way in hell in bermuda's winning that match doesn't mean they're not going to have a very good match but she's filler for whoever they want to be an actual challenger knacks and that's not any shade on number. It's just like you know the pattern. You know the wrestling pattern in general and just get frustrated. Amber moon always seems to be in that position. But that's what it is now. I feel like she came in from being new. An amazing to being veteran. Who makes people look amazing. An totally skipped over the pot in the middle way. She gets to look amazing. You know i. I think there is an issue that a lot of people have and it's not something that isn't overcome those my opinion as as a fan is that the personality doesn't match the persona so who she is in between the ropes has nothing to do with who she is when she puts her mouth on a microphone. Talks words bailey. Was the same problem. And then she turned heel and now she's found in another level. It just takes time. It took her. I mean how many years until she could cut a good promo just to get away from that for a second. Because i want to briefly talk about the ladder match which enjoyed a great deal. What i liked so much about. It was the story. And i know i've been comparing la night to to the rock in terms of promo ability and i'm going to extend that to his storytelling in the rain. Because if you watch the specially a lot of early like like rock. I quit matches. When he was in his heel persona. He would talk and find little bits that that you could hear on camera and one in particular for la night. Was somebody cheering for cameron. Grimes in the front row and go. You like cameron grimes. You wanna meet him and then throwing him into the wall just like a great little bit of story in a match. That had really great stories right down to cameron. Grimes basically losing the match. Because he wanted the gallbladder as opposed to the one that he could have climbed to just grab the case now and then. Of course it's dumb but it makes sense for the character. If you if you plot out the story the line of logic for each person in the match that one. I think lines up really really well and that's not always something that we get in matches even very good matches. I don't really well done and it was released on. The storyline makes total sense. They fully pushed cameron into the face role for this match. By the time we got there and the million dollar bill be on face like you caught. Have the.

"Is about foreign policy. The state department has sent its strongest signal. Yet that joe biden's administration does not plan to roll back the trump administration's policies on cuba. Now if you can recall back. During the obama administration. There was a loosening of the so-called embargo toward cuba which allowed for americans to travel to cuba for instance which also kind of opened up some possible trade opportunities with cuba. And you know lifting the embargo and the sanctions that come along with. It is not just great for americans who want to freely travel to cuba. But it's great for the cuban people who have been crushed by us sanctions as a result of the united states government being incredibly on brutal to any country that has a political system that we disagree with after the communist revolution in cuba. Of course that's when the. Us government decided to take a hard line approach toward cuba with the embargo and honestly it hasn't changed their system of government. It hasn't changed the way they run their economy But all it has done is crushed cuba and the cuban people when in reality they should be able to run their country anyway. They like without the united states meddling in their business now state department. This past week listed cuba. As among those quote not cooperating. Fully with united states anti-terrorism efforts renewing determination. I made in two thousand twenty. So this is what trump did in the tail end of his presidency. He decided to essentially list cuba. As one of these countries that happens to be the enemy of ours because of the cooperation that they participated with countries like venezuela for instance right. So what does this determination really mean. What is its actual impact will. The determination was made under the arms export control act which requires a report. Every may listing countries barred from defense exports in sales with you with the us with the us. Now hold on. Let's pause for a second. Because i do want to address that. I don't care about weapons sales to cuba. In fact i would prefer to end all weapons sales internationally. I think that it's been incredibly destructive and is only destabilized regions of the globe So that's not my concern. I want to be clear about that. But understand the determination while it has an impact on weapons sales to cuba is really about Maintaining the embargo against cuba and the unfriendly relationship that we currently have with cuba. So cuba from So obama had actually removed cuba from the list. Back in two thousand fifteen The statute is also one of the three laws weighed when adding countries to the state sponsors of terrorism list. Something trump added cuba to in the final days of his presidency. Okay so cuban. Cuba cuba as a state sponsor of terrorism. How exactly. Because if. I can recall if i actually ignore the american media propaganda about cuba and actually take a good hard. Look at the government's actions doesn't really seem like they're spreading. Terrorism are sponsoring terrorism. In fact it's quite the opposite. For instance during the pandemic cuba has done quite a bit in You know ensuring that they're taking care of their own people they develop their own corona virus vaccine Outside of you know the pfizer. Maduna johnson and johnson vaccine that we're using here in the united states in fact. Why don't we just quickly go to this clip. That explains just how much cuba's been able to do for. Its people even with the us embargo crushing the country doctor matter this rams the plaza of the revolution polyclinic and news. Just about everyone in the neighborhood. Every day she makes the rounds to check on covid. Nineteen suspects who've been quarantined. Took those who come from abroad. Like florida resident bill gates upon cuba. She was given a covid nineteen test. Then she and her entire family put under strict lockdowns adopted checks on them every day on the day. She got a second test. And now dr galvez has come to tell her. She's in the clear online persona a. I'm impressed that despite cuba's resources they've been able to control this pandemic so well also. The people are very aware of what's going on and what they have to do with. A population of twelve million cuba has had fewer than.

"So small note. Because i can't help myself. The phrase fight like heck is just don't do it. Don't use that phrase because it makes it seem like you're not gonna fight a fight like heck is like. Yeah i'm gonna give it my best shot here but anyway i thought it was interesting. That for the first time biden felt the need to say something mildly aggressive in regard to two democratic senators. Obviously he didn't name them by name. But i think it's safe to assume he's talking about Senators kirstin cinema and joe manchin. Who have really served as a giant obstacle in getting much in the senate many of the Legends many of the pieces of legislation that get to the senate passed by the democratically controlled house they get to the senate were democrats of course have a very slim majority with kamla harris's the tie breaking vote. And you would need all democratic senators to agree on voting in favor of legislation if it's going to be done through reconciliation if it's a budgetary piece of legislation but if it's any other piece of legislation for instance the ford. The people act which reforms are elections gets money out of politics. Secures our elections By ensuring that voting machines aren't connected to the internet by ensuring that there is a paper about all of that stuff needs to pass with sixty senators in the senate. And that is impossible to do when senator mitch mcconnell The former senate majority leader has made it abundantly clear that he prioritizes fighting biden every step of the way so the only thing that we have left to do the only thing that senate democrats can do in order to pass important legislation like the for the people act is by either reforming or doing away with the senate filibuster which again requires sixty senators to vote in favor of legislation. Like the for the people act but unfortunately we're still dealing with mentioned in cinema that under no circumstances are they willing to do away with the filibuster in fact just today cureton cinema said in a in a video. That's now gone viral on twitter. That i'm a daily example that bipartisanship is working. How exactly has she made that assessment. I'm very curious because in order to claim that you are a shining example of how bipartisanship is working. You should be able to note what legislation you're able to pass bipartisanship. I in a bipartisan way. Bipartisanship is not working when you have republican leadership like mitch. Mcconnell for instance saying that his priority is to fight biden's agenda every step of the way there is not a culture of bipartisanship in the senate. There's no culture of bipartisanship even when it comes to something that honestly all lawmakers should be able to agree on which is doing an investigation into what happened in our nation's capital on january six. What were the flaws in our system. Why do we have white supremacists in police ranks for instance in capitol police. Why were they posing with some of the Capital writers on that day like these are things that should be. debated investigated discussed but kirsten cinema. Couldn't even bob. Her couldn't even bother to show up to vote on nine. Eleven style commission to investigate happened in the nation's capital. Now i do want to point to one thing that biden said that is hilarious to me mostly because the mainstream media fact checkers immediately jumped on it. Because it's honestly easy picking. It's low hanging. Fruit biden says that These two senators tend to vote with republicans more often than democrats. Obviously that's hyperbole. obviously that is not necessarily true. But i do think that biden is trying to touch on something that is important to keep in mind in regard to this whole myth of bipartisanship and how democrats can successfully work toward bipartisanship. No both mansion and cinema have Basically said we're not going to do away with the filibuster. In fact we want to do things in a bipartisan way. So you have. Joe.

If you don't love to hear the rationale why so it's not as if you necessarily forced to make picks on everything but you do want to come out with picks so ultimately we're trying to figure out which games which positions we like and then games that they want us to talk about at a really popular good for tv. We don't necessarily have a. We can talk about something else or why we're not making the pick but it is trying marry two worlds and a lot of it's in its infancy for everyone. Who's covering this. You know investigation. We're talking about this stuff together. Ten years ago it was still very much in the shadows. And now you've got all the major networks in all these major podcast broadcasts. That are covering this. So it's very important to try to figure out a way to make the world's work together but also in a smart way and ineffective way mostly for the viewers. So steve though okay so it's a great story because this is my second stint in vegas right now. I originally moved out to vegas in two thousand eleven and it's long story short but i had made the two grand my name. A maxed out credit card. And i was writing for a website about football and i wanted to get in on horseback. I had always enjoyed sports betting. And something i did but i was the total total marble. Right i didn't know much about it. I was just betting favorites. I was trying to get good at it. And i decided you know what i'm single. I got nothing going on in pa. I picked up on a whim. Pretty much in two months later moved to las vegas. I said i was going to cover football for one season. I was going to get to know all the guys who bet it professionally. I was going to try to get to know all the bookmakers that i was gonna learn the industry hoping that one day down the road. I'm making a bet on myself that if legalization occurs maybe that skills that will carry some value besic's one of the first dudes out of the gate that i made because he was coming off back to back wins the super contest. So anyone to even come close to cashing in that contest. Obviously knows what they're doing to women's another level to win back to back years. Never been done before so i was one of the first guys have been talking to. He had always been nice in sharing some time for articles. I was writing and then i went met him. I don't know if you remember. The first time we ever met was at the m resort. I came down to see you. I was doing a little like a video series where i would sit down and ask guys at knew what they were doing. A few questions there about stuff and he was always very gracious with his time. I've learned a lot from it so it's awesome to be honest with you guys today. Thanks for having me you know. I love that resort. In the south point i live in henderson. So it's like my rotation if you will when i'm driving into the strip. I stop at the end when they were cantor. That i'd stop at the south point making bets all along the way i had it all like scripted out on friday night. Oftentimes i leave it like ten at night and i'd hit each claim right before they closed. Steve i actually have a question on that. So now you live out there right now that everything can be mobile and i'm assuming it's mobile is legal in vegas..

And <Speech_Male> i used it pats. <Speech_Male> In some ways thinking <Speech_Male> are used it accurately <Speech_Male> it is a sudden <Speech_Male> reversal. <Speech_Male> In a <Speech_Male> politician or organizations <Speech_Male> position <Speech_Male> <Speech_Male> often take him with no <Speech_Male> recognition <Speech_Male> that they have reverse position. <Speech_Male> But i wasn't <Speech_Male> completely aware of <Speech_Male> the etymology of <Speech_Male> the origin of it. <Speech_Male> But it is a phrase <Speech_Male> all knows. I <Speech_Male> really wear that. It is particularly <Speech_Male> among <Speech_Male> journalists british. <Speech_Male> Jim that's us this all the <Speech_Male> time <Speech_Male> Apparently i'm <Speech_Male> originates from <Speech_Male> <Speech_Male> the sun. Newspaper <Speech_Male> originally and <Speech_Male> the time when that <Speech_Male> was edited by <Speech_Male> kelvin. Mackenzie <Speech_Male> was a bit of a legendary <Speech_Male> editor. Who <Speech_Male> used to say that. The job <Speech_Male> of every journalist <Speech_Male> was to stick <Speech_Male> a ferret the <Speech_Male> trousers <Speech_Male> of any public <Speech_Male> figure. <Speech_Male> And when you that may <Speech_Male> make life on come <Speech_Male> to her right because what <Speech_Male> could be more uncomfortable <Speech_Male> than having <Speech_Male> a wriggling <Speech_Male> animal <Speech_Male> nibbling away <Speech_Male> in your <Speech_Male> trousers <SpeakerChange> goes <Speech_Male> back to <Speech_Male> see now. I'm have to interview <Speech_Male> politicians on <Speech_Male> the evening news. I'm never going <Speech_Male> to be able to <SpeakerChange> forget that <Speech_Male> and get by that. That's <Speech_Male> going to bring the <Speech_Male> nba just the <Speech_Male> <Speech_Female> <Speech_Female> an actual <SpeakerChange> ferry. <Speech_Male> <Speech_Male> You know. we're getting <Speech_Male> deep into this. But the <Speech_Male> <Speech_Male> there is an actual <Speech_Male> thing. Ferry <Speech_Male> lugging which <Speech_Male> is a pastime in <Speech_Male> the north of england. <Speech_Male> Where <Speech_Male> supposedly <Speech_Male> we hear. <Speech_Male> This is the custom <Speech_Male> where supposedly <Speech_Male> alive ferret <Speech_Male> is put inside the sealed <Speech_Male> trousers <Speech_Male> of <Speech_Male> the <Speech_Male> unwilling or willing <Speech_Male> victim. And <Speech_Male> it's whoever lasts the longest <Speech_Male> before being nibbled <Speech_Male> <Speech_Male> to a point <Speech_Male> of <Speech_Male> no return. <Speech_Male> So when <Speech_Male> when you change your <Speech_Male> mind <Speech_Male> then it he's <Speech_Male> reverse ferret <Speech_Male> and so <Speech_Male> apparently kelvin mackenzie <Speech_Male> when <Speech_Male> it was clear that <Speech_Male> he's paper. Had got it <Speech_Male> wrong. And they had to change <Speech_Male> position <Speech_Male> he would burst out <Speech_Male> of his office shouting <Speech_Male> reverse ferret <Speech_Male> and it has <Speech_Male> now become part <Speech_Male> of media idiom <Speech_Male> in <Speech_Male> britain and it <Speech_Male> means if a politician <Speech_Male> or any institution <Speech_Male> changes <Speech_Male> their mind suddenly <Speech_Male> and dramatically. <Speech_Male> It's a reverse <Speech_Male> ferret. I'm glad <Speech_Male> you've given this gift <Speech_Male> to the israeli <Speech_Male> media. I want <Speech_Male> <SpeakerChange> <Speech_Female> not <Speech_Female> only to the world <Speech_Female> to the world. It <Speech_Female> still sounds to me like <Speech_Male> a strange <Speech_Female> travolta move move <Speech_Female> from saturday night <Speech_Male> fever. But i'll <Speech_Male> take your your <Speech_Music_Male> explanation. <Speech_Music_Male> I <SpeakerChange> is <Speech_Music_Female> is is <Speech_Female> better. <Speech_Female> Jonathan <Speech_Female> thank you so much for this <Speech_Female> are second episode. <Speech_Female> i will say <Speech_Female> thank you to <Speech_Female> <Advertisement> You're <Speech_Music_Female> <Advertisement> bush on rome. <Speech_Music_Female> <Advertisement> And the or friedman <Speech_Music_Female> <Advertisement> our editor <Speech_Music_Female> <Advertisement> <Speech_Music_Male> <SpeakerChange> We <Speech_Music_Male> will meet next week <Speech_Music_Male> to win. <Speech_Music_Male> Goodbye unique <SpeakerChange> <Speech_Music_Male> goodbyes.
