"It's just not exactly what we want to see him. Do we want to see him. Hit the ball along and he hasn't been doing that a whole lot lately. So i guess it's good to get on base way or another but is actually pitching on sunday so they can't take out of that game. The mariners are going to have to face in one way or another. Yeah it is interesting that he's had this like slump at the plate and then you know he had a start pushed back because of fatigue and then he came out in like just search. So you're like oh is he. Is he heard something bothering him. And then you watch him pitch and you're like i think he's fine. Yeah l. sometimes you just have an extended slump. It's a thing that happens. Geyser streaky. yeah. It was a phil. Goslin was hitting behind. You know no offense to fill away. But yeah i mean when you don't have trout and you don't have down and you don't even have justin upton right and you've got whilst but that's back lefties and so often they're broken up so it's just been fill goslin hidden behind otani lately and that just doesn't scare you really now see. Has it behind him. Really just like you know. Think jack mayfield has hit him this month like it is not exactly murders row factor. So do what you have to do. If you're the mariners and you're trying to win every game but hopefully we will actually see joe hayden hits and homers before the end of the season. Yeah hopefully we also get one more email about a card gate conspiracy theory that we had not considered and this is from listener. Anne who writes. It's a nice idea that the jays orchestrated this whole thing. But i don't think it really fits the circumstance. Instead i believe the scandal was manufactured by rob manfred andrew west as part of an effort to fight back against big data before card gate. No one even do these cards existed. Let alone was bothered by them. This ongoing public crisis has brought many new voices to the four calling for a ban on cheats in on the field. All in all. I believe alejandro kirk was sabotaged and set up. Oh my gosh. The plant was not by the blue jays. It was by. Mlb or joe west. I i mean. I'm fine with this theory. If for no other reason than it might one day inspire. A movie in which A brave whistle blower has to come forth and defend the honor of all one hundred kirk and catchers everywhere and he will be played by. George clooney yeah. It has actually changed the discourse or or at least brought this to attention. I think is we have been talking about it already. The cards and whether we like them and they should be allowed as thinking back as we were talking about this on the ringer movie show too but back in i think it was september twenty eighteen when phillies reliever austin davis. Used a card on the mound. Which was i. Don't know if it was the first time. But that was after outfielders had started using them maybe even after catchers at started using them. But i haven't really seen pitchers use them and us. The davis just broke out his car while he was pitching and joe west just reflexively confiscate it. She had no grounds to do it. Was that against the rules in any way. But he just marched out there and took it and cowboy showed up and everyone kind of knocked him a little bit because it was like old fashioned seato. Regressive joe west. He doesn't like information or whatever and at the time. I sorta sympathized with davis but now i'm thinking country joe was just ahead of the game in. We've all kind of caught up to him. No we haven't all cut up to him because some of us don't care about them using cards ben. I'm gonna continue to hammer this home. Like some of us really. Don't care. some of us think it is fine. Some of us think they have a lot to keep track of and they. They have a lot up in their brains. But sometimes it's helpful to have a little chichi and it's fine shan. I can't bring myself to be fussed about it. I just can't. I don't think that this is like zombie runner rule. I don't think you will persuade me like. I think it's fine to have notes beat paired. That's okay. I'm not mad about it. Could i prove being prepared to be. It's like have your notes but when it's time to take the test you gotta leave your notes in your locker right. I mean it's to be. It's like you know going off book in play right. If you show up on broadway and everyone's walking around with their script. Hey it's hard to remember. All those lines i get it but you want to see them. In the moment you don't want to be taken out of it by the fact that they have a script right and i'm sort of similarly taking out of it by baseball players pulled out their card so i want major league baseball players to be off book by the time it begins. I just. i don't have to persuade you. That's fine we disagree. Yup as we said before. It's nice for us to do that. Occasionally because just like aren't we boso smart. This is not a top priority for me. Either this got like my defining issue there many other problems that are bigger than us. Oh let's do a draft draft. I i think that we're both. We are somewhat prepared for this. A we're off book for this draft. Probably use she cheats for this. But we're going to do our best here. So this was a listener suggested draft gannon. I think it's a good suggestion. It came to us this week. From listener amy who wrote drafts for effectively wild groundbreaking. However i think it would be very fun to listen to a draft of postseason for wildcard game onward matchups. Either when the schedule is set or hypothetically the postseason matchups from qualified teams that you would like to see the most bird teams devil magic teams. John smoltz complaints about but the ratings teams. Why brewers white sox will be the best rotations ever teams anyway. I humbly submit this idea for your consideration. And we're glad that she did..

"But I will tell you this. If Greg Russo looks like he did in training camp and preseason, I don't want them rotated Greg Russo on the field as much as possible sale. I look at the other side Pittsburgh We were talking a little bit about the game plan. We saw Dallas run on Thursday night, where they decided to basically go after the only weakness. I think if you look at Tampa Bay's defense, then Sean Murphy bunting getting injured, they challenge their depth right away at corner. I said this, Jeremy. I know Joe Hayden. He is on the last 18 19 games of his career. There's not a ton left in the tank for Joe Haden. Who is behind him like they got rid of Steven Nelson. They got rid of their other Mike Hilton, like they don't have at least my knowledge, a group of corners that I believe can keep up with this group of bills receivers, especially if they're going to be rotating them in and out there going to be fresh throughout this game and the different packages that Brian Tables give me right if they get for receiver sets out there today. That. I mean, that is advantage bills all day. So would you like me to tell you who's listed on their depth chart behind us? This would be this would be an enlightening experience for me, and I think many listeners and viewers on stream yard Okay, so they have Justin Lane cornerback. Do you know much about Justin Lane? No, I know that that sounds like a name. That's real, all right, And they also have on the opposite side. James Pierre like these are the backups to starter Cameron Sutton and starter Joe Hayden. All right, um, in the secondary, look, make a Fitzpatrick is awesome. All pro natural Adams. Obviously we know who he is, but you know who's behind them at safety, A rookie a rookie named Let me get his first name here. Make sure Trey Norwood trainer was a rookie safety. So They? They have some questions some questions at depth in the secondary and I agree with you. I don't think Joe Haden is quite the level of player he was when he was going to Pro Bowls. He's is he lost that team. Supposing, number one is that well? Well, the heat Their defensive, according to Butler was asked about that this week and he said, I'm not going to tell you what we're going to do, but we will have a plan for Stefan Diggs. They better. I mean, not many teams didn't Yeah, no, That's the thing they did have plans first founded the next wouldn't work out. 80305 50. You can join us. You know, we talk about the Steelers Najee Harris. The Bills run game is Devin Singletary going to showcase? What's different about his body is what everyone has said is different about people. People have a lot to say about the changes he made. And he talked about, you know, in the off season having goals, the team asked him to do some things as trainer. They're watching this film all this like, will we see Singletary? Get off a little bit with that today. I like to point out Brian Devil's schemes up very favorable looks for Singletary and has his entire career so I know the looks Are there at the lion has to do its part, and then from there, it's on the backs. It's something that I think it's not a weakness of the team. It's a place they could Get a little bit more of an edge more from the backs. The Singletary lead the way with that this year. I think initially he does. You know last night we all do these these radio spots around the country. I'm on Sirius NFL radio late last night, And they specifically asked for a fantasy purpose. Question. The same question. Fantasy purposes, Devin Singletary see the guy. My answer to them was the same thing. I'm going to say everybody right now, which is I think Devin Singletary is the lead back. So to speak. Now, I think there's separation. I think Zack Moss lack of availability..

"Looking at what. The pittsburgh steelers should use their newfound cap space for here in the twenty twenty one season. If you didn't already know the pittsburgh steelers have conferred even more money onto their books by restructuring the deal of steph onto it converting that money newest signing bonus and pushing that cap it further into the future a move that many thought would have happened way back at really at the start of free agency doesn't end up happening until here now in august. So what does that all mean for the steelers salary cap situation. Basically right now they sit at seventeen and a half million dollars cap space however. That really isn't the true number of how much money they technically have right now to. Really kinda break things down that seventeen and a half million dollars. Of course the steelers like to have some emergency spending money to go into the season. It's about five to six million dollars. Kind of goes towards that there also has to be a little bit more money it on the books from that rule of fifty one to the fifty three man roster of course adding two more contracts to that cap number on top of that really. There's a few things. The steelers need to take into consideration as well as building out their practice squad. So all of that will count to roughly around nine and a half million dollars or so so that leaves the steelers with upwards of eight nine million dollars of capable spending money again. Some of that will be kind of eaten up by tj. What extension however and. That's the first thing. I want to talk about the way the steelers new spend this money. Obviously by opening up a ton of cash a lot of people just instantly thought. Oh that's just going to end up in tj watts pocket really. That's not a hundred percent. The case tj water of course on the signing that signing air the fifth year option here in twenty twenty one so basically a new contract really isn't going to change too much of this year's capital his signing bonus could very well Depending on how much of that guaranteed money. Tj watt signs for however. It really shouldn't impact it salary-cap whatsoever really the potential. Here's for the steelers salary cap to kind of shrink but between one to five million dollars kind of depending how it all shapes up but most of the signing bonus money is really going to be stuff that hammers the salary cap in future years so while there will be some sort of impact here in two thousand twenty one especially with the size of the deal. It isn't something that we particularly have to worry about. What basically it comes down to now is the steelers will have about an extra six million dollars that they never have at this time of year and really that number could could grow even more with two pretty simple deals. First and foremost the steelers could create more seller cat by completing the final Salary restructure that they possibly could make here in twenty twenty one by restructuring. The deal of chris boswell which would open up a little more than a million bucks. Every dollar counts of course in the nfl but at this point it really wouldn't make too much more sense other than pushing more money into the future. The other thing the steelers could do and something i think is a whole lot. More likely is a joe haden contract extension and one of the reasons. Why it's more likely is because joe hayden and his agent have approached the steelers about basically putting a contract extension in place to have a deal. That joe haden can ride out the end of his career for and in doing so really. The steelers gained a ton of leverage in this situation because Joe haden saying he wants to retire steelers. The steelers aren't obligated to offer him a ton of money. Of course joe. Hayden is one of the highest paid players at his position in nfl history. So i there's also that sense prop joe hayden would be willing to take a significant pay-cut to continue his career with the block and gold and try to help win a championship for the first time in his career. So the potential is there for that and really if an extension is agreed upon and the steelers turn joins basically what's left on his contract in a signing bonus. The steelers could clear about four million dollars cap space. That hasn't been done yet. But if the steelers are really wanna be big game fishing like it. Kind of appears they are. That's a move. They could definitely consider making as of this moment. The steelers have about six million dollars in free cap space that they don't typically use at this point in the year to sign outside player or make some sort of secondary deal as in a trade. They could open up. Another million bucks by restructuring. Chris boswell and another and another up to four million dollars with joe. Haden sooners potential. The steelers could spend up to a eleven million dollars on outside players. That are not on this team at this current moment. How should the steelers spend the six million dollars or up to eleven million dollars is really. That's a big question surrounding us here. And now because really the steelers never needed to restructure that contract of steph onto to get t g what done so something is coming i. It really has to. Of course his team has been all in on the twenty twenty one season. The amount of void year deals put together Pushing a bunch of joe schubert's money. The newly acquired joe show bert into the future. Really what the steelers are doing is kind of pushing a little bit of the problem into the future but setting themselves up to be a significantly improved team and a team that will make a run at a title here in two thousand twenty one. So they're going right now. They're exhausting every option. They have the money they're going to spend it and really before. I continue on how they should spend that money. I know there's a lot of people saying. Oh maybe the steelers just wanna roll some salary cap over into twenty twenty two but hear me out on this. The steelers warmed to say money in two thousand twenty two. What's the point of restructuring steph onto to begin with by restructuring that money the steals are pushing cap it to next year. If they don't spend it then they effectively really haven't done anything at all. What was the point of all that. The point is to make the team better here in the future and the steelers have a significant amount of cap space. They do not normally have at this time of the year. So a couple moves that kind of makes sense for the pittsburgh steelers. Really you have to look up and down the roster quarterback the steelers have four guys that obviously they're very comfortable with and you're not finding anyone there. The running back room is stock to the gills. As is the receiver. Anti dan room. I thoroughly believe the steelers have trust in their guards and really there isn't any center that's is going to step in and kind of supply kinder- green is the guy especially here now at this point in the year the could be in the market for tackle and of course names will be something we check in a little bit later on the could be in on the tackle market. There are some free agents available such as a mitchell schwartz and they're potentially some guys available via trade so that is a spot to keep in mind defensively. The steelers are loaded on the defensive line. They're loaded on edge. They're loaded inside linebacker now they have one of if not the best free safety in the game and they have one elite corner in the joe haden and outside of that they've had some issues with the other cornerback spot which kind of seems like more of a competition than what we're expecting between camp sudden and james peer aside from that trail edmonds didn't get his fifth year option so potentially the steelers could be looking at to maybe adding to that safety room. Of course the depth spots that safety is not a strength of this team. Special teams wise. I would also say the steelers are quite loaded. So i i'm not. I'm not worried about them. Trying to find another kick returner gun or someone to run down the field. They have more than plenty of those types of guys so really the spots right now that you can kind of hone in on our either tackle spot but more namely left tackle corner and perhaps safety depth because the steelers right now. I think they're quite confident. And everything else they have on the roster but really once again the steelers have a ton of money that they still kind of put themselves in a situation to spend so something is surely coming down the pipeline. We will get into the names of the trade targets. They should be after in the second. Half of this podcast. But we're going to jump into a quick commercial break and we will be back in just a minute so stay tuned for the second. Half of the live mike. "There is an opening at that outside linebacker on the outside linebacker. Outside cornerback position. Can he take that job. And say cam sutton you were signed. But they knew they they're going to use you on the inside. Can he do it. I have to think that some of these players were drafted. Last season are just chomping at the bit to get an opportunity to show extended repetitions. Carla's davis anthony mcfarland. These guys didn't have a preseason last year and so that is going to be big. These games are going to be big. And we're gonna talk about the second half of the show this preseason willoughby a good test. We'll talk about that but let's get into these individuals so i said earlier. I don't think we've learned anything really about the team. But i do think we have learned even in this small sample size a lot about certain individuals and i broke this down four on defense. Four on offense. And i'm gonna just go one by one talk about the player why i feel like we've learned something about it and we're going to hash this out together so to start on defense. Wanna start on defense one of the individuals that i feel like we've learned about is antoine brooks junior someone. I brought up six round. Pick out of maryland. Twenty twenty nfl. Draft and. I have to be honest here. I didn't have really high expectations for anton brooks ginger coming in at twenty twenty one. This is a player that did not make the team out of training camp. Last year he was cut didn't get picked up. They sign him to the practice squad. He ends up getting elevated any sticks with fifty three man roster for the rest of the season but now all of a sudden they have him being the heir apparent their words. The media's words not mine the heir-apparent to mike hilton. He had a tremendous interception earlier in camp of ben rothlisberger. Keep that in mind. It wasn't mason. Rudolph or dwayne haskins joshua dobbs. It was ben in now all of a sudden he did get banged up a little bit on sundays workout. They said it's not serious. He's considered day to day. He should be fine but still antoine brooks junior. My goodness we've learned something about this guy but not just what we've learned about him we've learned about how the steelers are planning on utilizing him. Maybe i never thought as a safety when they drafted him. I was told that he was a box safety. Love to play the line of scrimmage. You did well. I didn't think that he was athletic. Enough to play the slide. We'll see we shall see arthur millette going to get a shot especially if brooks is out for a little bit. So we'll see. But anton brooks we have learned a lot about him as an individual cam sudden. Maybe cam sudden but how the steelers are going to utilize. We know cam. Sudden kim son's a veteran at this point to sign a new contract is second contract in the nfl. With the pittsburgh steelers in terra lawson spoke with media on sunday and he said that the plan right now is for the steelers to keep cam sudden on the outside. That's the plan. He's that kind of change. If there's someone like james pierre or just lane step up then they'll move cam back into the inside. He can play the nickel he can play. Time will see but as of right now that the steelers plan and we've all wondered this throughout the offseason. How are they gonna utilize cam sutton right now. He's opposite joe hayden as the as the number two cornerback or the other cornerback. Maybe don't maybe number one to here's another player on the defensive side of the ball. Roberts splaine now if i were to have written an article. When i didn't do this i thought about it. I thought it was in poor taste. And that's why didn't do it. If i would have written an article that said these and then number say four players. That benefited from the retirement of vince. Williams could have written that article. It would have probably done great and we'd probably a a lot of pages. But i said you know what now vince williams has been good with our site..

"I would read a bunch of his film. Melvin anger is just an edge. Rusher he lines up the interior sometimes on passing down. They've used him as an off all linebacker and he's even had an interception in doing that so that's nothing you'd ask him to do. Like every player twenty snaps the game. But you could rotate him in there and help out in that position he could be part of the answer. And all of that's going to be determined over the next couple of weeks of camp Leading into the hall of fame. Game i think. Then that's when the then we'll see the steelers. Okay who's out there who needs to make a move you know what other team what are other teams desperate for we saw cam acres. He's he's out for the season with achilles injury. People were speckling osceola. Should send betty smell to the rams. There might be a deal like that. In in a whole bunch of other position there might be a team. That's like hey we'll give you such set for jane's washington because our receivers that went down. Those are all things that can play on. That's one thing that i've learned to my time covering and following it studying the steelers don't commit to something or commit to and i did. This is definitely the thing because there's way too many possibilities out there kevin colbert. He keeps all doors open so that he can make the move that he wants to make the pets better organization. All right we got. We got a superstar here. Real quick chris. How do you feel about our defensive backs at this point. Especially at cornerback. I i think steelers. They got a really good situation going on here. A lotta people are sleeping on. 'cause they lost even nelson. They lost mike hilton But this is a. This is a team. I'm higher on joe haden than most people are like. Oh he's gonna fall off that cliff. Joe hayden is not a guy that ever relied on his speed even when he was at his youngest at his best in the league he was a guy that was all about positioning technique. Handwork footwork. Being the smarter guy on the field and winning those battles he still that player. When i see that happen then i'll i'll i'll check it opposite. Okay he's done. But i don't see that happening anytime soon. Four joe joe haden. I actually think he's going to be a guy that can be relied upon Moving moving moving forward. I also see karen sudden. He's a guy that i've been really ecstatic about over the over the past Over the ever since he was a rookie in fact in his rookie season in that same bengals game we. We're talking about a. He took over. Joe haden for a half and had to cover. Aj green and look just fine doing it over the years. He's found ways to make himself valuable. I think he's going to be solid now. One thing that. I keep reminding people about the slot quarterback what about my killed and he did so much i agree. Mike hiltons a favorite people to talk to in the locker room because he was very open. He talked about a lot of technique yet great instincts. He understands football he's a very high q. Are very high. Iq when it comes to football and life things but With mike don't forget he was an undrafted free agent free agent limit when they brought him in. You know he was a guy that they came in and in camp earned his mainstay. That's what they're expecting to come out of Brown a traynor with a james. Pierre was some of those guys are gonna have to step up this year. I wouldn't be surprised one or two of them. Do and don't forget justin lane still out there fighting for his for his nfl career. So there's gonna be a couple of guys to step up there. And i think what makes this a lot better is knowing that you have a makeup fitzpatrick behind you. Terrell edmonds very solid strong safety despite what many people might say but minkah fitzpatrick when you have the best in football columnist shots playing the deep ball back there you as a cornerback. Feel much more comfortable being aggressive playing your role and making plays. I think this is a lot better than people. Get credit for if i can follow up on that You brought up. James pierre and i state that that I know there is a james pierre hype train running pretty seriously around pittsburgh right now i actually after the after the playoff loss i had to do a film on that game and i was like i don't even know what to write about and i ended up writing an article about james pierre as one of the few bright spots that occurred in that game and since one of the things i've been thinking about is he had so few snaps and the season but when you go through and look at each snap. His film is really good like he did a great job in the limited time he played. I'm used to short sample size being like okay. This person put up good numbers good stats in a short sample size. What how do you deal with analyzing a player who was put up really good film in a short sample size. Does that does that translate. Is that going to say. Hey this guy should be this good next year or are there. Are there things that we have to be cautious about when looking at his film and saying wow this did. This kid is smart. He's a good player. I mean you should always be cautious when looking at a small sample size. If he that peyton hillis will be the greatest running back of all time if you remember him from his browns days. That was quickly short-lived But i will say this jean-pierre the things that i saw about him. Good technique was solid following through on basic cornerback fundamentals In those things that that that chat transition into your future and if he can build on that that solid. I can tell you. I watched this man play in. Minicamp granted no pads football in shorts but he was active the hype that you're hearing about it. I was like i chris. Carter was given a thumbs up behind that hype now my colleague. Tony sereno when. We're on the lockdown steelers. Podcast e believes in the james pierre hype train. He's at the official starter of that. He started months ago and he continues to believe that he's going to be the next rod woodson with the running joke there but i do. I do think that he's going to be a better contributor. That people give him credit for This year what's gonna be. Interesting is a when he comes to camp. How consistent is he does. He maintain how he looked at minicamp. Be when he does get in. The game does he. Stick to those fundamentals as you communicate. Well is he on the same page with everyone else immensely. Does he get lost in the sauce when he starts to get more saps. If you see that all those things start to check the boxes he could end up being like you know what when. Joe hayden's done camp sutton might be the number one and he might be the number two and we have no problem with that and that could be the next you know big story of the steelers like hey guys that ford their way forward like vince williams that you didn't you didn't think that they were gonna be a star on your team are consistent starter for you. Know a better part of a decade. That's what he can work his way into. But we have a long before we go there. I liked the fundamentals i see. I like the understanding of the game. That i see..

"Well, very difficult, right? I mean, your risk is gonna have to play the game of his life. My guess is they're going to get Travis Keys. Legs involved quite a bit. That is an asset he possesses. That is tough to defend and It's now or never now, right? I mean, I'm not saying you want to get him hurt, But I'm saying you're willing to take a little bit more liberty a little bit more risk. At this point with him in that regard. The problem is their defense isn't good anymore, Lawrence. I mean, they've just been decimated by injuries in the secondary. They've got young kids that shouldn't be playing. As the nickel back. It's truly unbelievable. I was talking with some people from Chicago about this. I swear the Bears can never get their offense and defense playing well at the same time. Even when Cutler would have those good games or Josh McCown had that stretch. The defense wasn't good, but and when the defense's is awesome and killing people, then the offense really struggles, they can never get those two to marry up together. No, you're right about that, Do you? Ross? Do you think it's fair to have this game tonight between the Steelers and the Brown? It just seems there's no place to put it like you're gonna have a disadvantage to the next team. But it just seems unfair to make Cleveland play this game. Yeah. I mean, I don't have a big problem with it, Um, in the sense that You know, everybody's going under the same protocols, right? And you know the Steelers don't have Joe Hayden. They don't have their best corner. He's on the cobra this so he tested positive He's not playing so They're both missing some people they'd rather have to me. At this point. The covert thing is like injuries. I mean, it's part of it, and unless there's a risk The players being together or playing of further spread. I think they got to move forward, and I know it's not ideal for the Cleveland Browns. But think of it the other way. Can you imagine if they want me? No head coach? No, but Tonio This would be like one of the most legendary wins in Brown's history. If they were able to win anyway, and you know, Baker wants to be a part of that, That's for sure. Ross. I was checking out my front page story dot com And at first I was like, Wait is this Ross's site Because I see like marriages and stuff, and I was like, Oh, he's he's helping people out. So what What made you put my front page story dot com together. Yes. So it's a buddy of mine who had the idea and I'm just kind of helping him spread the word, But it is the single best gift idea that I'm aware of. And look, Valentine's Day's gonna be here before you know it, fellas for the people that are listening. Two things What is to be able to say to your wife? Or your girlfriend or whatever. I had a story written about you. That's pretty much the coolest thing you can say to something when you're giving him against like they'll be like what? You have a story written about me. Yeah, I had the story written about you, and then when they see it It looks Lawrence like it's on the cover of the newspaper. It's framed. It's beautiful. And when they read the quotes when your wife reads the quote from you saying, I just don't tell you enough how much I appreciate everything she does for the family..

"Six eastern, followed by Green gets in Eastern Tuesday on ESPN Radio. The FC playoff picture is all over the board at the top. And at the bottom. Still a lot of playoff positions for 2nd 3rd in the bottom five teams for four spots. It's Game day, ESPN Radio Joe for Mom, Byron Metcalf. I met Jones cornerback Joe Hayden. Has two positive for Cove in 19 with the Steelers and will not play Sunday against Cleveland. That's what a source told ESPN Dan Graziano, so he will be out. That game's gonna be a mess in terms of who's playing and who's not. You can tune into football action. Tomorrow's Josh out and the Bills host the Dolphins pre game begins at noon Eastern on most of these ESPN radio stations. Right now, there are five teams in the A F. C for four spots. The all play tomorrow the matchups air Kind over the board. But you have the Baltimore Ravens, Cleveland Browns, Miami Dolphins, Tennessee Titans in the Indianapolis Colts. Five teams four spots. I'm not asking you, Joe to predict who will win and to go through all the scenarios. I just want to ask you this. Those five teams who deserves in your mind to be in the playoffs, the least and which one if they got in, could do the most damage. Baltimore to answer the second question first, because that's the easiest of the two Baltimore would have the ability to do the most damage. And I say that with a bit of trepidation because John Harbaugh hasn't won a playoff game since 2012. That's when he won the Super Bowl. That's the last time you want to play off game. Lamar Jackson's also going to in the playoffs, so there's some concerns there. I think Miami while a very nice record at 10 and five and a very impressive season Fred coach Brian Flores is probably the most vulnerable to getting in and immediately getting run out of the building. And no one wants to see that we know Tennessee can compete. So the answer comes down to either Cleveland or Indianapolis as least deserving. And to be honest with you. I'm going to take the Indianapolis Colts who are on the outside looking in. They need to win, and they need help from one of those other teams losing tomorrow. Indianapolis Has two horrific mistakes on their resume this year that I'm not gonna be able to get over last week dunking off that game against Pittsburgh in the second half. You win that game. You are fine. Not only are you find you have the inside track to winning the F C south, and they completely melted down in that game against the team that had been playing horrific football over the last month of the season. In addition to that, the Colts handed the Jaguars They're on Lee win of the season back in week one, and people say it's week one. You have time to rebound. Well, here you are. Indianapolis. You need help to get in because you couldn't get by the Jaguars, the on Lee team in the business, Myron, who couldn't get by the Jaguars. So when you talk about least deserving Indianapolis to Mia's least deserving, and I hate to say it because I really like him coming into the season. Joe, You're a smart man, and I tend to disagree with agree with your takes, but I actually think, least deserve. This is Cleveland Browns, who've been playing triple a ball most of the season and if it wasn't for the Tennessee Titans? Getting into that situation where they were outscored early in the game. We have a different conversation. I think about the Cleveland Browns. It would be a completely different scenario. They had the big lead early. And if he comes on late, they're still win that game 41 to 35. But beyond that this is a team that beat the Giants couple weeks about back just lost to the Jets. They beat Jacksonville in Philly and Houston. Triple A teams for the most part, lost to the Raiders and early November beat Cincinnati got crushed it Pittsburgh. I mean, this isn't a team in the last two months of the season that's been very effective. That matters really done anything to prove that they can compete with the best teams in the NFC In the A F. C S, I would say they're least deserving Baltimore. Definitely most dangerous team Cleveland, the team Cleveland be the team that kind of stumbles into these players. You know what's interesting to me, and it's Game day on ESPN Radio Matt Jones, Byron Metcalf in Joe 40 Ball. So what's interesting to me is that I don't necessarily think Any of these teams couldn't do damage. I actually think that's a double negative, but I actually think all of them could do damage except the Dolphins. The Dolphins. I don't see necessarily winning any of the playoff games because the quarterback situation but I could see the Ravens. I could see the Browns. I could see the Titans. I could see the Colts all of those teams. They're gonna probably play well. They are going to play either. Pittsburgh Buffalo or who? My missing well that will play each other with the winner of the thing. I think all of those teams could beat Pittsburgh or Buffalo Joe in a one game scenario, don't you? Absolutely again. Miami would be the concern. They play very good defense. But I cannot get over the fact that they continue to side with two over Ryan Fitzpatrick, who gives them a better chance to win. Now. Now, I know Fitzpatrick has the covert issue, so he's out for this weekend but in a major city, New York, Dallas, Chicago, any major football town around the country that would be a far bigger story. They're coaching decision with the quarterback situation than it is being in Miami these days could make some noise. I can't help and they've been the butt of so many jokes that I've made over the last 15 years, but I can not believe I can not Sympathize enough with Cleveland Browns fans right now, like you won 10 games clean Pittsburgh, Your opponent this weekend is gonna lay down. Mason. Rudolph, starting T. J. Watts not gonna play. You've got this unbelievable opportunity. Get back to the postseason and now Cove. It is just ripping apart the locker room. The facility. You got problems on the Pittsburgh side. I don't even know where to begin. Handicapping a game like that, Myron. I really don't. But I do feel for Cleveland fans because they're long, long history of suffering should be coming to an end this weekend, and I don't know. Maybe somehow Pittsburgh finds a way to ruin it for him because of the covert issues that have played Cleveland throughout the course of the week. It's a mess, and it's happening again. Usually we've had a lot of scenarios where it was like Monday or Tuesday. You heard about these positive tests, and maybe you could move games around for this to be happening on Friday and Saturday..

"Absolutely. Any time you can stop a team from scoring a touchdown forced in field goals, especially when you're short handed offensively. That's a huge W but again that wasn't anything to do with the defense Steelers truck The wide open passing on Johnson couldn't catch that slammed right into his chest bounces off the play was there to be made. Again. The Steelers couldn't convert Wayne Ravens on the field goal. So now the Ravens will get the ball back. Even a will have to kick off sail through the back of the end zone, so the Ravens will start from there. 25 yard line, Robert Griffin. The third and the Baltimore offense back out onto the field. I think the one thing the offense has to do the last two Syria's two penalties on first down, so they got pushed back. And another thing, too. I think our G three in the passing situations canny look to run. If the first option is not there, and you haven't an open alley to take off and use your legs, you need to do that. That will help you get most 30 shorts even potentially break one down the field. I'm really start threatening this defense a little bit. Ravens with a record of six and 42 consecutive defeats to New England on and Tennessee and overtime looking to get back on track. Led 76 after one quarter following a Steelers field goal that's down. 97 Pittsburgh is RG three. Hands it off. Justice Hill gets bottled up in the backfield. The loss of two on the play. We're gonna split backs. They go right with Gaza with Justice Hill. Excuse me, But Joe Hayden on the spot on the outside corners have to make the tackles when you have that extra lead box blocker on the edge, and Joe hidden comes up with big tackle. On the right side. Joe hated has the Steelers touchdown getter steps out of his former teammate Robert Griffin, the third earlier his second career TD, his first since the 2013 season. Empty backfield bound for the Ravens. Second long Griffin throws over the middle on the catch is made by marquees Brown out to the 31 yard line. Eight and six on the play, setting up Her down and four for the Ravens Keys. Ground comes way outside underneath from the outside. I think he's a guy that needs to get the ball in his hands. Even the short passes got enough speed to make big plays came into this game with 32 receptions on the season, third down and four Ravens after the backfield once again. David trailing the Steelers. 97 4.5 gone second quarter here in Pittsburgh on third and four Griffin steps up down, He goes back up the 28 yard line. The combination is Cam Heyward and Bug Dupri. And it really started with T. J Watt coming on the right side, forcing.

"It looks like Ben missed an early on what an early open read in the end zone. And then obviously as the plane matriculated the Ravens good job covering that up. And you just have to throw it so he does off his back foot because it's fourth down. You got it just right in the end zone. Hope for something good. It got picked off. So the Ravens took over and and obviously you're not going for three points there because you're saying to yourself. There's no way RG three and the Ravens gonna go 99 yards and then stick it touchdown that are stiff stuffer. Touchdown that our throats here, So that was the right call. Obviously, it didn't work. They walk away pointless. RG three in the Ravens. Take the ball. And then on third and four from their own 12 r G three made a throw that basically reinforces the notion that he is a little rusty. Shall we say he has not played in a while. That was a red, This is Medic. Six. This has been an ugly start to this game three and out for to start for both teams, and then the Steelers. Get on the the Ravens, Get the ball back and fumble. Zone read because RG three hasn't done it in a real game and forever. It seems like I'll see the Steelers go down the scenario that BT just played out been rocks. Look at those in an interception. RG three is now back in the game to throw on third down. He doesn't read. Ah, zone coverages, basically. Joe Hayden sitting in the flat because there's no responsibility for him in the flat, So he breaks on the inside route takes to the House Steelers are up six. Nothing because they missed the extra boy is kind of sloppy. You know the river God is with you and to be in I'm not surprised that it's sloppy BT because of all that's going on in these teams steals, at least have practiced. The Ravens haven't practiced legitimately and 12 days and RG three hasn't seen the practice field with live action, You know, not just the walk through and you know, go through the motions, type of practice, but like in live action. No really long time with the starting unit, So if this is going to be an ugly game, I think not not a very enviable position to be in. There's no doubt there's rust, and there's there's just all sort. I mean, listen, you're missing players. So there was no you're missing players, including the people Forget that part. So you not only missing players, but the players that you have haven't really been able to practice. So I mean, of course, it's gonna be rusty. Here. The spread was 10 for a reason. You know, Next time you're gonna get to Doug Peterson and the Eagles and the kind of a continuation of the conversation that Tiki and I had yesterday Peterson interesting sound which will play for you next segment, basically saying he has not received assurances that he'll finish the season s O will really try to get a sense of how hot that seat is and and and react to what he said. Well, let's get the John horrible. I mean, listen. John Harbaugh is a great coach. He is a Super Bowl winning coach. He has been there for 13 years, he said now last year, by the way, it was 14 and two On. There were some rumblings before the year before that, Well, you know, after a five and 11 season about five years ago, when that a Nate Nate sees and then a nine and seven season Well, you know, the Flacco's tip was getting kind of old and maybe the message was diluted. What I find it. And by no means am I saying that he that he should not be the coach there? I love the guy, But I wondered because I've heard a lot of people say, And you've said this that after about a decade or so the message is diluted. And it could be time for a new voice. This is year 13. So why would that not apply to John? Horrible Because, see, I don't think that's the issue with with John Hardball here in Baltimore because he's to me he's one of those coaches that Um, that doesn't necessarily apply to and the same thing to be said to Sean Payton obviously mail ballot ticket for this and that ends in that category as well. Mike Tomlin's in that category also, but John Hardball falls in it. For this reason, TT's because he's he's adaptable. You know what I mean? It's not like he's so rigid and what he's trying to do that he can't like, change and adapt to what his how his new players. You know, uh, you know what whoever's new on their team, And so I think there's a there's a difference. I think it also would saves him is that he's consistently had good defense is, you know, I mean, it's not like it's in teams that have good defense is tend to keep their coaches for a long time. Think of the Steelers for all those years? Yes, they had a couple of years in the last few where Defense was transitioning as they were trying to find the right players. But the Ravens of that way, still stay with Pete Carroll and Pete Carroll with Seattle and Belle Belle a check. I mean, it's really always been about defense from Bella check, even though we laud Tom Brady. And in some of his successes, and so, um, I think the issue now, though, and why this conversation comes up is because we haven't seen the growth year over year and it's only been Two years or three years. Really, If you count his work E season for Lamar Jackson, we haven't seen the progression offensively, right? You have this tantalizingly good and explosive. Young quarterback who wins e M V..

Well now get go back and say that that was true for all forty. Two plays at the offense ran today. Because that's all they all right. We joe hagan don de joy team up meant to help him because he can't do hip nothing. Yeah oh john real quick mark five. Oh four this is two shows. Don't be a dick and you're just being a dick so Thanks for trying to come in and hang out. But you're officially blocked from the peter cast Forever sorry about that john Just wanted to put that out there and kind of like mark a little bit so you wanna go maker though he was a troublemaker. Like it was like donovan is like we at the double team with dom smith again. Because he can't do if nobody now because he just can't block he can't do anything at this point. I'm just so sick. donovan smith. I just want him next year. I don't even care. I'm just it's i'm just he's just nothing and the defense of lying. Yeah we have. Api for this year next year. But i don't know. And as i say on a two year deal we've got an and and if you can see without via available It's just dreadful right now without the dreadful but once again it's like the guy the guy who not rushing them have to do their job and they're just doing it right now loss for sure Disappointing you brent. It's fine in the wind over there. John is a guy like everybody. Got people lining up guy. I'll give you one more thing. And then we're gonna get you out here has has tag free mike evans. All right. i'm with you. I'm with you on that. I like that. Yeah make that happen. I really liked that. Free mike evans. That's way better than hashtag. I'm with nineteen. Wow that's a throwback all right man. John thank you so much. We'll talk to you next week. Okay pow see all right. Hey ren kind of very sad. And i know got so many people see lighting lining up here. Hey rain we got a question on a super chat. What teams are we in a race for the wild card with. I haven't checked the rest of the nfc standings all of them. Yeah yeah we're still early. In the in the season we're lost we went from. We went from being the. If we would have one we'd been the number one seed in the nfc. We would be in line for the by. I think now this loss being get knocked down to five but like seattle lost arizona law chicago law so it was a good week to lose all right all right. Well there you go. So we'll we'll see we'll see but there's lots and lots of football to played. I think either way the bugs make at least a wildcard. If we don't win the division we make at least a wildcard getting into the playoffs. Does that sound. Oh yeah yeah. And that's something we talked about. I mean we talked about the beginning of the year right like you know like everyone did. The bucks aren't gonna win this division the saints are right and we're gonna and the bucks would get wild card and we were like that too but you know you fast forward eight weeks and here we are with be able to take a game and a half lead on the saints for the division and be the number one spot in the wildcard after nine games and it wasn't even close. It's like they didn't even it didn't care like oh really. Oh what we're supposed to play tonight right. i. I don't even like. I don't even want to give that the bucks play bad in primetime thing like any. I'm not but but but really like i mean there's no evidence proving otherwise yeah. So like hey. Let's discuss this. Real quick guard puts in another super chat alley. Donovan need to switch alley out. Allies allies arms are too short. Okay get spiked when those people jp when they come up and they spike him try camera when they spike them like this on a shoulder. He can't reach them. Okay that's why people short play guard. Gotcha gotcha now tristan were. Okay let me let me add to. This is the time to move. Tristan wharfs over to the other side. I look. I'm not gonna sit here. And i don't want to overreact and pretend like i know but to what would you do Flip over put hate or flipped on dominant over there. Because basically you're going to have donovan and learn a whole new position and by the way he's still going to have to go against those guys anyway because all the teams now flip flop. Why shouldn't say all of them. Most of them flip flopped their best pass. Rusher he saw we saw jordan was over. Both tristan. worse and donovan's mostly against tristan. Worse right and then he had hendrickson okay. we'll pay. So what are you gonna do move donovan over the other side having played cam jordan. All night long right. And then. And because so i remember talking with alli about this idea remember when they switched him from right guard to center to left guard the year they were switching over to left guard. I asked about that. And he's like the only difference. Is it just it matters with like how you turn your hips and your body will naturally want to step one foot forward. And so that's really the adjustment is. It's just how you turn your hips other than that. Everything else is kind of the same. Yeah yeah it's just the first step because you're you know if you're playing right guard you'd have to step backwards i with your right leg And it's just the opposite on the left hand side right and probably takes about four reps. Get used to right right now. That being said i do feel like tristan. Worth says draw has blocked kim jordan. Pretty well yeah. So if you're talking about protecting the blind side then. I don't know how difficult it really is to switch that footwork. And switch those hips. It's not something i ever had to do personally. And i've certainly had to do it at the level that these guys do but Yeah i don't know. I don't know i feel like the ultimate answers. Were still sort of in the boat that we've been in offer this all time but ran we've got we've got i for tonight's show we've got somebody on the phone. Let's take this call caller. Thank you for holding on for so very long. You're on the show. Live here with brent and ran. Who do we have here tonight. Hated or video one life on he. Maybe just riding a little quicker. If i did the phone. Yeah yes sorry about that. Corey so i'll give you your time. Cory go ahead man. What's your thoughts. Rather don't ever ever apologize with. Nobody will call it in the so there you go. Yeah so. They had that. So i'm fine. How anyway the nice. Tonight's game Brought my point The one ball theory cry. We were a third overall aerial attack last with really basically to our seniors Cam break did some things though they been versus really receivers this. There's one ball and a lot of mouths is seen and unfortunately our very best stand out superstar according to madden only x factor while receiver is really suffering of being able to build a chemistry and river. To cargill is the problem. I'm not that's my issue. And i'm sticking to happen. Diversity of more like it really really annoys me. I don't know for the noise. Much as mike evidence but it annoys me that he has these gangs lattimore where he gets the ball thrown his way. There was times he was open. More lattimore was a defensive rookie year. I'm gonna say he's a very the corner where his head is all right. He's not a he's a better version of what with mel deane is not focus on double move eighty percent of the time. He's like he's not focused like thirty percents. So wanna seem like that but anyway tom. That's my big game is the fact that hey man. We have all these things in place to help tom brady. But if only working ball if you don't have to take care of from. A schematic sample. And i'm sitting here watching trae. Thirty five thirty six hundred seven and they were literally throwing the ball. Extend eight yards and getting first. Now i'm like. I'm.

"They don't have the money or the possibility of bringing him back here next year, so they're pretty much The one in black, her junior likely in Pittsburgh this year, so saying that he might be motivated to have that big here, go get cashed out at the end of the year. I love the make a Fitzpatrick trade on. I don't know how it played out in Pittsburgh, but I beat out here when I saw it. I said this is This is a a win and a big win for Pittsburgh, and I look at their secondary with him and I look at I look. Att Joe Hayden, who I still think has gas left in the tank. I really do. But the Steelers have had trouble with that secondary. Oh, throughout the course of the last seven years. I mean, they've been rotating guys in and out Ever since Paul Amato left, they look like they've been looking for a leader back there. I tend to think That this is settled down a bit. Now that's from the outside. Looking in your on the inside, is it? Is it better? Yeah, absolutely. I mean, you're looking at five years of absolute disaster where they didn't know who was going to be out there, let alone Whoever was out there wasn't very good. One they did of a border trying go hate when the Browns Who knows why the Browns cut him. I mean, brows kind of three years ago, they picked him up. They're able to get even felt last. Nobody much knows about him. But, yes, stellar state he's allowed here. Me and numbers right up there with some of the best corner the league and I'm talking. You know Stefan Gilmore's intraday via white type of guys, and then you make a Fitzpatrick and what he got traded here last year. 50 people were A majority of the moor up step because they thought the feelers we're going to a 14 and they were throwing away a potential cornerback like to our orginal thorough, so it took a couple games for people to finally get on board with Mika. But he was able to, you know, galvanized that back into the very smart individual and Craig Venter filled her type of guy, so I think the least part of their worries. Is the secondary Now. I mean, might want to look inside, guys say Okay, good. But who else But that defense is pretty good for the party. I mean, you got people walked by the freeze back. You got it. All that secondary bag got Devon Bush had a great year. They were two. It's that me if they could just match last here, which is because they have or exactly 35 turnovers. They Mak that in at your office going to slip into that? That's why there's so much Not with the Steelers might have a pretty decent you know, this year, Michael Ball, leave the Steelers. Ah vite writer for the athletic dot com Our guest here on 700 wlw. Can you think of Amore quarterback centric division than the A F C North with Jackson may feel Roethlisberger and Joe Burro. I can't think of another division. That has that kind of talent. That position, can you? Ah, No, I'm not. Not now. Maybe we go back. If you know, maybe late eighties. If the D A. That point telling Dan Marino's type of player but not now, not comparing these guys to whole families, but definitely go one All Famer and rough burger. You and M v p in labarre. Baker, who could be good. Could not be good in borough of attraction of the season. You had another few. One thing you have to say about him is how around around him. A lot of playmakers Sure is going to help them. I like it. Big question now is the office of Mine there gave protect for him. But, yeah, I mean, there's three housing trophy winner right there in the division and potentially the whole. The whole Famer is not hide from you. Don't you don't see that. There's no market Bali athletic dot com. You can read him right now. It is, in my opinion, the best investment in sports journalism. Listen, Mark. Thank you so much will catch you up in the season. How about that? Like in any time. You know, The other thing that the Steelers did in the off season is they addressed tight end and I don't know if this is flying below the radar appear in the fantasy football. It certainly isn't. But they went with Vance McDonald for what? 34 years and there was nothing there. They went outside Eric Ebron. What this guy I want to say in his career at Indianapolis. Like 27 touchdown catches. And he runs just really these precision routes. And I've been reading at least the comments of Mike Tomlin say he's just he's just he's been a bear to cover for their defense in training camp. Now again, all of this is against other Steelers. It's not against other teams. It's like the Bangles everything. They're doing all the platitudes that air coming out of training camp. It's against other players on their team, so we're not really going to know. Until we get to this Thursday night, and then next Sunday, whether or not all of this that we're hearing is true. We'll finally get to find out but I look at their offense, and I think Schuster has got I I'm not convinced that guy as a number one Bonified flat out, Justus Cobolli said. A guy that you look at and say, Wow, what do we do with him? I think he was largely a product of what Antonio Brown did when he was there, but we'll see. We'll see. And as I said they address wide receiver in the draft this year to Ebron could be the real X factor there in a team that has always Always employed the tight end. Ah, lot in its offense will find out I'd say Well, I can't wait for Thursday night. I really can't You probably can't either. It's coming up on 11 20 news radio 700 wlw. Assisting you.

"Democrats in congress are leading the charge. For a congressional resolution. Condemning anti semitism. Oh. Okay. We'll probably solve it. Hey. Listen. I think it's time. Says miss Pelosi. I think it's time we take a stand on this important issue. Oh, yeah. You didn't close the border. No, no, no. No, no. You can't you can't dislike Jews. Oh. I know like, wow. Oh, well, Ilhan, Omar our new democrat congressman. Is out there do Hayden, and it's pissing off some of the Jews in our delegation. Okay. Well, let's have a resolution against it. Less republicans. What they think Joe Hayden Hayden. That's that's what we're doing. Do you think that the people that hate Jews? A congressional resolution. Why did we need to do that? She this is stupid. I tell you I needed to do it because the Democrats have in their midst. Some of their Rockstars. Don't like Jews. And it's awkward. And so how do they how do they tamp down there? Jewish donors. Hey gas. Hey, hey, we understand. I got it. She's out there saying all these things, but watch we're gonna do wanna vote and say she shouldn't say that. How about you take off the foreign affairs committee? We don't wanna do that do that. Because on the intersection -ality chart, she gets some points. Let's say she's a woman. She's not why she's foreign born. She may be married to her brother. They can't seem to figure that out or not. But you get extra credit for that. Because anybody who says that's bad. Is hateful and a bigot? And what we should have a congressional resolution. You shouldn't be able to criticize somebody for allegedly being married to their brother just scammer system. And in the alternate point system. She's a Muslim. So as we move forward in this presidential election. The Democrats are vying to push the right buttons. So we have been creating a point system. We don't have it worked out yet. You're welcome to join in. No phone calls. Just Email Michael berry, show dot com. Michael at Michael berry, show dot com or just go to Michael berry, show dot com. And it'll say said Michael Neiman, you can do it through there. So we've decided that the Democrats have a point system for each candidate based on your Dinty, so far the following things are worth one point. Grew up poor, or at least claims to now if you grew up extremely poor or you, can you know, you got some third world background, you probably get some extra points for that. But right now grew up poor Joe, even Joe even fighting Joe Biden grew up in the streets of Pennsylvania, Scranton, Pennsylvania. Grew up pours one point start, a huge, one number two is environmental credentials. So that'll be things that you've done that were environmental. Maybe Al Gore endorses you or something like that. Number three is avowed socialist now that might be worth two points. But I think they're all going to be avowed socialist before it's over. So that might get pressed down. Although nobody has the socialist cred that Bernie does because he's technically not a democrat. He's an independent because he's a socialist. So he may get two points for that. And number four is vegan. That's not environmental credentials. That's a whole different. That's a separate point for that. Now worth two points will be being a woman because that's good Hillary had that going for her. Being Hispanic will be worth to not as good as being black. But it's better than being white tell you that for sure and number three being crippled which so far. They don't have anybody who's crippled. But they may have one who claims that, you know, hey, I was born with, you know, something is some some form of being crippled will be worth two points. Then we moved to the three pointers. Being black history points. There's no doubt about that. Gets you extra credit and blacks outright, Hispanic so Joaquin Castro. You can go ahead and sit down unless you come out as a woman. You're you're done. Being black is worth three points. Being gay is worth three points. Which is why all these people who say that Cory Booker is gay. I don't think they're insulting him. I think they're trying to help him. I think they're trying to help him because he's missing out on the girl points because he's a boy he gets the black points. And he gets you see that comma Harris has trouble with the black points because she's married to white dude, and she's actually biracial. So she's having to establish the black point she's trying to qualify for the black points. And I think she will face. She said she smoked dope. Even though her dad came out and said some things about her that that her family was embarrassed that she said because she's Jamaican of Jamaican descent that but Kamla Harris might lose her black credit because her dad who it would appear really does not want her to win her dad came out. I'll see if I can find this. Article her dad came out and said, look our family owned slaves. They were not slaves. I don't know where that article is. But so I think she's gonna if you're black, but your family owned slaves. And you're you're getting it wrong when to park and and snoop were smoking dope. Or we're we're big and you prosecuted dope smokers that if you're law enforcement, you lose points for that. If you're going to be black, but have a law enforcement background. I think you're gonna lose points in the democrat primary for that. So that remains to be seen so three points black, but black you have to be verified black 'cause blah other blacks will call out your blackness. You know, you're not black enough and gay. But the problem is you have to be openly gay. And so I don't know of Cory Booker is or not I don't care, but it will be very important for him. If he's going to get the three points for being because he's black and gay the fact that he's not a woman because there's not a black gay woman or or. I hadn't thought about this. We moved to the top category, which is the four pointer which is transgender or Muslim if Cory Booker. Decides he's a woman. If he decides he's a woman his black credentials have never been in question, if he decides he's a woman who likes other women he will get a gave over for that. You'll get a transgender point. So that's three six ten and he converts to Islam in does the hutch before midsummer that's eight fourteen points. That's pretty much unstoppable. That's.

"Starts rolling downhill. It's hard to stop especially when he gives you an extra push. In my opinion, that ship has sailed the team is never gonna win a title paid had long enough and the window is closed. Don't tell me that's to be some tiptoe through the tulips d is gonna get absolutely vilified, and they are going to abuse him. He's obligated enemy number one. Down. This is ferrall on the bench. Eight five five two one two four two two seven is the number to get on the bench. I've been like in my own world in here tonight trying to deal with all kinds of crisis. I have I have just one problem after the next with. Matadi with the driver's licenses and passports, my God, am I screwed. My family is going to turn on me. Forever. It's my own fault. All of it. I'm so lazy. So when I moved into my new house a couple of years ago. I never got. I never got my license James. That's a problem. Avi is laughing at me. I never did it. I'm like, what's the difference? Right. Because you just moved this year six months ago, two years almost two years ago. I never did it. I don't want to go to the DMV. How's that? Know what I mean? They sent me the last one, right? I figured they'd just keep sending it over like online or through the mail. I don't know. Can you do that? You probably could if you didn't if you had the time to do it. But now you need to like today. So no, you can't what? Now, I gotta go to the DMV and stand in line probably. What a disaster. I mean, honestly, I got nothing. But disaster in my chaos. I don't think he can do that either. There's no way they let you just send that in. And then they'll send you a new one. There's no way. Yet that proof of all that stuff. You can do it online in person or through the mail. But if you need it today, you can't do the other two you got to do in a person. Really? Yeah. What do you need to do it in person? What proved DNA aid dress? And what is that like bills and stuff? Yeah. I hate. I honestly I hate the state of New Jersey that have I established that yet. I can't even look and my glasses. They're so they're so dirty, and I've just been rubbing gleaning for twenty five minutes, and they just refuse to be clean as I'm having the words night ever. Now. I gotta go to the DMV that only takes all day. And then I gotta do passwords. Are you kidding me? I'm gonna kill myself and the expert passwords, by the way is like four hundred dollars, mafia. And I'm guessing it's for each one. No, one hundred eighty pop really like four hundred total. The way more than I pay for it. But you kind of pinch right? You could do it like for like sixty bucks a pop, but you gotta go to this office in the city here. And then. And even then it takes three weeks. It says. Not for that one this one. If you go in the city, they'll give it to you same day. It's got to be like within two weeks union travel gear even not even in that window. No, you're not. That's unbelievable. Jeremy in Pittsburgh on the fan. Hey, man. I love the show. Thanks did. Hey, just want to know where that car salesman was down there in New Orleans. Dan, I'm call against Joe Hayden against the Steelers could've cost them that game. And and you know cost of saints home field advantage. So you mean, wait a minute who he blamed for that? I wanna know where that car salesman that put all this billboards. Yeah. What about anything about? Where was he when that phantom call against Joe Haden in the Steelers game? Yeah. Oh, yeah. Believe me, or you know, obviously the Steelers that game with the red late fumble. And then the Schuster fumble they asked to lose like every other game down the stretch state. You know Rothlisberger at the goal line in Denver and just it was one torturous failure after the next, and, you know, Crimea river, do you know, I mean there's been literally every game of the year. The team that loses, you know, for the most part cries about some caller to that cost them the game. So it's always the refs fault. Nobody likes mentioning because they get fined, but I think the rafts in the Sunday title games deserve to be abused without fines being met it out. I think that I think that they were terrible. But I think the games themselves were so fantastic that sometimes you have to in my view you have to. Excel in spite of the rafts and other words, like even when I play basketball. I have a tremendous problem with the rafts. I am a constant technical waiting to happen. I'm like Draymond green. I get tacked up just about every game or every other game. When I open my mouth. I think one of the reasons I get technique is because when I raise my voice, it's so intimidating and loud and bounces off walls, and it just shuts everyone and stops dead in their tracks. When I start yelling. So I get tacked up more than anyone my point is I think that you have to. Win the game in spite of the wraps bad call. So I can get tacked up in a game. We still were down eight with nine minutes to go. I had been tacked up, and we found a way to win by eight or something like this because we locked down defensively and got it done and one in spite of the rest. So I think what the saints should have done is get the ball and overtime and win the game in spite of the bad wrath. Call instead of blaming the rap which is easy to do too easy. And then spending a week trying to sue everyone put up billboards and start petitions and everything else all of which will be few tile, right? It's not literally it's not changing anything. You can. I hope they get fifty million signatures. You know, they're going to do with that blow their noses with it. That's what they're going to do with it. Do you seriously on the face of the earth? Thank for one minute. Even God can't switch the outcome of that game. Like could they go to God? Is there an expedited God service for four hundred dollars? You can go to and get the game changed like the bass part problem. I'm adding. Validity written? Apparently there is. Listen. In the name of the father the son and the holy goals..

"And and bring him to pets for I would solve a lot of problems right before the draft cause this is not an inside linebacker heavy draft at all. So I think that's the best way to do it quarters or nice. There's some lace quarters this year, Tony, but. I don't think I really don't see them doing it as well in the draft. Especially in the first round at inside linebacker. It's not as loaded as was last year. So what are your thoughts on off season personnel? Where do you see the making a bigger impact in the traff war going against the grain and going free agency? Say, you know, their their biggest need again, we have to be inside linebacker 'cause something that Jerry do that said something for the start of the season that still resonates me. He said when you're you're slowing inside linebacker your defense. So because you don't have anybody that can get the silent sideline and gets you know on down the middle on passing plays. And I think we saw a lot last year especially over the middle. So I like your idea of J Moseley at twenty it's hard to get those kind of guys, you know, even at cornerback. It's hard to get those really impact players. So if they can, you know, they're gonna have money like you said, they could if they could make a deal for Moseley somehow, someway. Be a traitor and come to his top rival, Allah Neil Smith with from the chiefs of the Broncos make it happen. And then and then you, you know, if you if you get a guy like that it's solves a lot because we saw Ryan says here he still heavy lifting for that defense. He covered up for a lot of lot of weaknesses. And after you need in the middle of that field. You need somebody that you cover up for quite frankly, lack of play make this in especially in the secondary. They don't really have guys they can make there impact players and secondary. They have it. They've done a lot better. Obviously Joe Hayden is a godsend in in a pro bowler. But even he's not somebody take over football game for you. So yeah, I think the number one need is a is inside linebacker. You know, something very interesting is if you're a guy like CJ Moseley Buffy Newsom, Donna, it's has retired. So you don't have to he can't really play the Alabama card on you. You don't have to honor that you know, you could. And I I'm sure that was he was a well respected GM other guys loved him. And he had that connection with Alabama which has definitely served that defends very well. So I too late of that. But I mean, that's going to be the truth. He doesn't have to. He doesn't have to honor his ties Alabama has much and he can go after the money. And by the way, the Neal Smith reference fantastic. I I don't think I would have pulled that one out especially when I completely forgot about that for you to does to you on the Smith. I love it finally. Coaching? We we've got to continue to talk about the Steelers coaching. There was eight another skill coach. That was a casualty of course last week. I believe it was Wednesday when Joey porter got his pink slip from. I know he was very close to Mike Tomlin. But he was he was relieved of his duties in Pittsburgh as the outside linebacker coach now today chain Saks in the running back coach which travel surprise to me that he was let go even though they had one of the worst rushing attacks in the game. You gotta think of what they lost. And what they lost due to injury with the situation. I think he was I think that's a tough one. I think he was wrongly scapegoated for that. But he's he's going as well in that happened today. Mike. Months could be gone, but that would be of his own accord so with faxing today, and let's let's put like months ACA side. 'cause like I said that's not the team's doing or the Steelers done making moves..
