"Like, I trying to remember that an empathy is I must really really suck. And when you're thinking about the whole quit while you're at it, totally makes sense. So yeah, I mean, I would agree with that. It's it's it's hard when. You know, it's like, oh, it's a quit because it doesn't exactly feel like a quit in the same way. I don't know what word I wanna use. But. I I can understand whether decisions came from just resigned they withdrew from the game. They knocked their king over and set on beat like, this is it I can't win this. And I either of you know, are they going to Ponderosa this point do they like a pre jury trip? Like what happens? The other thing is while they're like, hey, you know, what I want to go to Austrailia. -cation with mean, Keith and a bunch of handlers. So yeah, I guess I because I guess if if our Ponderosa assuming that anyone who quits who still raises the sale at this point ends up leaving the game. Maybe they go back to Ponderosa because I guess. Ponderosa is extinct island right now. Right. You probably for the rest of the game into somebody is officially gone from the game at which point. I don't think they send them home. And I don't think they send him off on individual trip. So gotta be keeping them somewhere. So maybe windy and Keith told like, listen, if you walk away now, maybe they were all told you walk away. Now, we're putting you in the house like you can go to the house finally, and this is where you're going to go. So maybe that's part of it. Maybe they just like let's go to the house. Just want to go to the house where we'll go to the house of anyone else shows up. That's great. They're basically subletting Ponderosa right now until you're turning out there. Right. Kato kaylin. Orcas house. Oh, God if they ever new punishments on survivor. They consider flying out one Cato. Caitlyn? One. Colin hurt him. And Joe del VO hanging out together. We lovely gosh. Aubrey let's get into some of our typical questions. We just had a lot of big discussions. But until you all throw it to you for formalities sake. Was there anything specifically you want to talk about what this additionally before we get into our typical fair this episode? No, my big thing was just when you slotted this episode from the beginning of the season. You just knew that Joe was going to be a massive target likely said so singly, and it was just a matter of when not if and was a little disappointed to see that he didn't really do much according to the edit to mitigate this. And according to Rick said, so it was a little bit of a disappointment to see on Joan boot episode that he really just didn't play the game in a certain type of way, it was funny because this was one of the times I've liked Joe. The most somehow on this episode. I felt the worse for him because I just felt like he was alone out there. And he seemed like he was just sitting there calmly painting the flag and hoping that the game would come to him. And it just never did. So I feel bad. I guess I'm sure I'm leaving myself room to not feel bad in weeks time when he comes back and wins, and then builds a fire since there at the final three. But this this cast is out for blood. I don't think anybody was ready for the Joe warship in those those six are pretty they're pretty ruthless. So it's it's pretty fun to watch on that level. Joe worship. Also now picturing like Joe in the romance novel covers and he's like on front of this ship. And it's Joe warship. I don't know. But dog is on the warship, and it's fob. Oh, speaking of which oh my God. I love Audrey Joe. Take us like four years to get onto that dog. So we were talking about the flag. I don't know if you guys have seen for the episode for the next week's episode of the press some of the press had been released and we get a close up of the flag..

"How would you rank this season at of all the new players seasons from let's say thirty two now thirty that's hard to do after seven episodes because I think that we're ranked ghost island super high. Coming on the Kris noble boot at the merge that we need to get closer to closer to the end before we can really starts talking about it so much so much can change what we have six more weeks, probably right or four more. So this season is actually the end is coming up quick here. So today is November ninth. We have an episode next week the fifteenth, then it's thanksgiving, then I we're have to our assoc shoot. Yeah. That's not mine. And then and then we have the twenty ninth. And then we have two weeks in December. And that's the finale so there are only going to be six survivor. There's actually there's only five survivor weeks. And then the finale so just in terms of booking the show that I ended up being sort of acutely aware of here at the end of the season. Are you a fan of them stacking up the players towards the end more and more players? I I'm not either I wish that they would lose more people in the beginning of the season. But then we end up potentially with the Koran. I'm I'm totally with you scare the hell out of them. What if we end up with just five Joe del Campo has to get medivac? And then now what we do. I know. And I think I honestly think the sucks to say I think our season kind of. Scares them into some decision making. Yeah, why what decision making like stacking the more players towards the end afraid of entertaining winner win or not a person who's good at speaking divisionals or whatever not playing a game. I think they're afraid of that. So why why not stack the deck more towards the end? So you're not in that position. I agree though. I don't think they should do it sucks. And I think it sucks that like again, I'm going to say, I think Chrissy would have been a great winner for the season thirty five, but I do believe this. I have no inside information that Devon would have been a winner kind of like Michelle, and I don't think you can be afraid of that. I don't think you can be afraid of having a crappy winner or a eyedrops out. The right word crappy is not the right word, but in terms of like, a super visible winner where we that you feel like that the show overcorrected of we have to show you a lot of the winner to the point where it's almost. There's almost too much out there because I remember Burnett. Pope said it, but Burnett had originally said the story about is about the people losing the p the people losing the challenge. Like don't focus as much on the people winning the challenge. Okay. They're laid it showed the defeat show the heartbreak over the so I think when you have a not favorable winner. Unfavorable winner for the season. We'll in show the heartbreak show somebody who's a fan favorite losing more. So than trying to make somebody into a better winner than they are does that make sense don't focus on the winter so much. There's so many other characters in defeat. Yeah. Is an amazing tool to showcase us. I think. Yeah. I'm don't care who the winner is rather. I'd rather have the most exciting. And then whoever wins wins. That's what on and I do think maybe the producers over. Corrected after our season. Who knows who's that's in a sets an assumption. Everybody who's to say who's to say, well, Nick douche what? When I was a perfect timing for that said that that was. His name. I think it was syrup guy. If I recall Europe guy. Yeah. That was that was voice, man. What's your address, buddy? Well, Nick, douche funny. And I only thought of it today because I got this voice mail sent to us today for this episode of the podcast route, Dan Gish, first of all Dan is nothing like me. Okay. He's an actual douche. He's not ahead of you on. Oh, you kidding me gland, Dan? I'm just joking. Okay. But it turns out they've been in an alternate dimension the entire time they're back at their house. But Christopher can't see them. He only sees that the front doors been left open as credits. Roll. What are the things that becomes immediately obvious about this film as how well it's been photographed? I can't believe this camera starts moving chasing after sleepwalking girl. I mean, we've all seen this movie before like, okay, maybe a little flip around the corner or something and credible camera work running through a forest through the underpass leading up to a beautiful waterfall. Awesome. Awesome imagery Canada. It's a great tourism is shot. Here come for the waterfalls lush grass the trucks that almost hit you as you cross the street, but it's also Dan lots in just one for shape of water and John whit to he's made. I mean, he's he's a very claims Matata for and he does a great job here. I completely agree with you Stewart having not seen this movie previous to this sitting down. I wasn't sure what I was getting into. And the look of this gave me lots of hope like, oh, this could be a legit movie all the way through. So I'm sitting down I'm eating my popcorn. And I'm ready to go. I love that you literally ate popcorn out of popcorn movie. Hey, you gotta do what you gotta do. But the first thing that hit me is. Wow. Are these the shittiest parents in the world? I mean, they make it clear that this has happened many times. So they have yet to come up with any sort of plan to sleep in shifts or put some internal walks on the house. So this kid doesn't go sleep walking across an interstate. "Ahead at the top stories for investors in the coming week. I'm Bob moon in New York as we mentioned before it is a busy week for earnings with nearly a third of the S and P five hundred reporting for more. Let's bring in Bloomberg's Joe for a look at some of the oil companies reporting Joe, Bob, the big five oil companies are reporting earnings, Bloomberg Simon Casey's the team leader of oil coverage in the US. And is my guest today. Thanks for joining me Simon Glaspie here before we jump in. What are we generally expecting from company earnings this quarter? We're expecting higher earnings oil price. A high gas prices are strong too. So that's a flying threes. The bottom line. Earnings are going to be up probably at the highest. They've been on a per share basis since about two thousand fourteen for the big five couldn't smoke in Stanley. We're looking at ten percent higher cash flow year on year from those companies expect to see higher earnings and potentially shot by backs high dividends that kind of thing. Can you weigh in on the worry that demand destruction could be creeping in soon? Demont destruction is is a phrase comes up in currency markets. When you get to high prices for a sustained length of time as we creek place. We've got Brent crude now above I believe, it's eighty dollars seven point. And if it hits one hundred dollars a barrel, that's a level. We haven't seen in many years, and thus thus going to change people's behavior fundamentally all over the world Intel at markets in -veloping nations and emerging markets as well because people will take decisions to drive less to use less fuel. And that's that's a real concern produces producers do not want see prices really any hot where they are. Right now, Simon thanks so much. That's one of the stories. We're watching commodities for the week ahead in New York. I'm Joe del Bob. Thanks, joe. It is also a busy week for earnings in Europe with banks in focus. Let's head over to London. And welcome. Bloomberg's European news director, David merrit, David. We had Bank earnings last week that were sort of a mixed bag in the US. What about Europe? That's right. We're going to have some of the big names reporting next week Wednesday and Thursday, Swiss John UBS, the first of those that don't have an invested their loan runnings. This is a bit a bit frustrated with that strategy someone I'm bishops targets so looking for some more guidance bed Deutsche Bank, of course, has had a pretty torrid time over the last few years. They've got a new CEO Christians hearing he's been bringing down costs. But the real focus is going to be on the top line. So are they managing to grow revenue tool a hold onto revenue, particularly at the investment Bank. They surprised the market at the trading statement fatty recently saying that things are actually a little bit better than expected. It was the first bit of good news from Deutsche Bank on the Barclays front. They put out a statement just back in August saying that there is some Trenton that straightening in that trading story. They said that Baucus isn't quite running free off to seventy quarters of of fines for misconduct. So really investors. Looking to see the daily is continuing that growth there and again improvements in the investment Bank. That's what people are really looking for. But just kind of stepping back a bit broadly. The industry since the last quarter. We've had a lot more problems in Italy and particularly Italian bond market law. European banks are holders of Italian bonds. Those have dived in price in the last few months is there an impact on that bottom line broadly? There's been a sense of pops an economic slowdown across the region has that affected lending great. So you know, it could be very mixed pitch. At least the two big themes that I think we'll be looking to see from all of those banks reporting and the European Central Bank in focus as well. Tell us about that. That's right. That meeting next week. We're not expecting a huge amount of news out of this time expecting to change the policy or perhaps that forward guidance. They will be a press conference star. Mario Draghi either president he's going to be quizzed about again, these things about Italy. What are they doing to shore up the banking system with all these concerns wedding around the Italian economy, and then more broadly, what about trade? So we all seeing companies talking about the impact of the. The escalating trade tensions around the around the world is that adjusting the four costs and their expectations for rates that currently saying they're not going to raise interest rates in Europe until about this time next year all they stood on track for that. Do they see that at risk considering these other uncertainties we're also getting rates from some of the emerging markets a Turkey and Russia being the main ones? You may recall. The last Turkey move is very dramatic rate increases they tried to stem, the real panic in the markets there. Yeah, they had a real bad breath. Pat, run on the lira and and also big conflict between the central Bank and the president out around who very publicly denounced the central Bank for raising rates at it's not the way in rather unorthodox way said it's not the way to tackle inflation. In fact, makes the problem worse. Turkish inflation rates can task continue to tick up very dramatically. But in the last few weeks, we've seen some different headlines Kentucky, we've seen this the US pasta where he was the cause of the tensions with the United States. He has been released the US administration talking about lessening the sanctions on Turkey, and we've seen Kristie really stabilized. So for once we're not expecting an increase from the tech center back. Brian Monday's rates are at twenty four percent could make a serious difference. The the US secretary of state Mike Pompeo talking about maybe time to lift the sanctions absolutely that read that headline from from the sectors. Stay really did have a big impact on the on on the confidence in the Turkish markets because the threats of ever tighter year sanctions really were frightening investors away and giving everyone another reason to sell the lyrics. I since that story has come out with saying a lot more. Stabilization than there is still a very elevated levels compared to some music I but really house recovered from some of the big dramatic sell offs. Restore in recent months and very quickly. Give them nail in Russia. Yeah. We're not expecting a move from Russia. But you know, like other emerging market that has seen some volatility in recent months, and they did surprise last time with an increase. I was the forecast often. I change will still be watching closely because they might surprise us again. Bloomberg's European news director, David Muir. Thank you very much coming up on Bloomberg daybreak weekend. "They're just they're not punished for being who they are or for experiencing desire while i'd like that severe crystal exists without joe del sandro in this movie is very important that we realise that as viewers because there are too many times were were watching movies and the untrained viewer might not even realise do i ever see a character without this other character press at yet is this the sigmund story or is it the cement and diane's story there are many moments where we just see diane on her own where we follow her and siegman as not in the picture and that's crucial that that is one thing that like i said people might not realise like she exist she has a whole other story unto herself without him defining her without him having to be in the room or looking at her she can exist without that and i appreciate that that we get this introduction of her character the way that we do that we get moments later on were sigmund drops out of the story for a little while and we follow her a lot of it yes has to do with him the moment where a mustache and her interact because she's uh put on this uh these new underwear and he is upset because she seems to a falling in love with segment and i like that to it seems like that might be a pattern for her that occasionally she falls in love with a client because i think mustache says you fall in love again aunt's like oh okay this is something that has happened before and she is already she's had her heartbroken before no wonder she is so guarded and she's going to have her heartbroken again as we watch this movie unfold.
