"Don't try to find me. I have finally escaped my master's wicked clutches according to a report. Oh that's interesting. The twenty three year old person of interest blah blah blah. You know all that. I didn't people posted stuff on pinterest. Thought that was for selling your hand made oven mitts on how. That's all about posting picks. Don't try to find me. I finally asked my master's wicked clutches. Well he might have been complete crazy person. May maybe he was Psychotic or something. yeah. I wonder and and we also discussed yesterday. The possibility that one or more of the players in this drama are really really stupid and they make decisions. You can't figure out because they're dumb. Yeah so some of the stories that have come out. And then i'll shut up about it but some the stories that come on you know friends say he was controlling and all that stuff is so meaningless. It just you know. How would you what that mean well unless you know them. It's it's hard to even if you do know them. It's hard to. yeah okay. all right well So as dead on the lam dead okay. All right there you have. I like this in the washington post complete. Change the topic here The headline is after immigration ruling. Democrats want sweeping agenda continues to shrink president biden's governing agendas at risk of unraveling on capitol hill after mounting series of delays clashes and setbacks that have sapped momentum from an ambitious and intricate push to deliver on longstanding democratic policy priorities. I'm reminded of something. Tim sanders said many times. And that is. Gridlock is a good thing if there's not enough Folks who we elected who agree on something getting done. Don't do it. An overhaul of the nation's voting laws has been blocked by republicans. An probably unconstitutional. Overhaul by the way. mike bonus. Maybe throw that in an effort to strike a bipartisan deal. On police reforms has lost all momentum. A sweeping immigration plan to provide a path to legal residency for millions of undocumented. Immigrants is now all but dead and centrist democrats on capitol hill appear poised to pare down a plan three and a half trillion dollar economic package as their liberal counterparts in the house. Threaten in. Turn kill the bipartisan infrastructure. Deal that passed the senate last month. Boy then you combine that which is kind of the legislative side of the you know the table With all the biden administration's failures on the border in afghanistan and angering france. And the rest of it. I don't know how many people are paying attention. The french thing. I probably not not many. Yeah but yeah. Things are really kind of going sideways for all the great grandpa joe. Chuck todd of meet the press on a podcast. The other day said the biden administration has a real credibility problem after three big disasters for their credibility. obviously afghanistan. the whole vaccine thing talking and talking and talking about boosters and then the fda saying well we don't have enough evidence to show that you need a booster Getting way out in front of that. And then what was the other one the other obviously one The border Claiming you know per pretending that this whole border thing isn't happening people can can see that and look at that and think what is going on here. Oh that reminds me a little bit later on in the hour we have some some updates from the border some absolutely terrible journalism about the border. And i'm looking at a pattern in the half wit vice president's reaction to what's going on looking at a picture right now. It's incredible that seehofer humanity at the border..

Post game and door today about just vanity game itself. Yeah we we just kind of decompress the game. It's always walk off the field after any loss Feeling awful and everything went wrong in you. Watch it and you can see just where we can make some corrections In regards to the interceptions he threw. It has really to to a really good place by the defenders. One of them my roquan smith. You know we've all lot. Backers are usually about a foot away and he made that play the other one. Jalen johnson made a decision to jump out and the timing was good. The route was good. He just made a decision. I'm gonna jump this route. And he did it and you know so. You don't want to overreact those things. Obviously it's turnovers. Kill you where they happen. One of them. We had the flow there in the third quarter. Were down ten to three. And the first one was picked for touchdown second one. We were backed up a little bit and picked it off and then the third one really was just protection. Miscue where he got his through so i mean you can say all day threw three picks hit as he threw it in the defensive tackle picked off so i don't put that one on him but you just continue to learn from him anything you can take from those and move on and you know we got a big on this week so we're going to move on quickly. Have you ever seen a sequence of plays like that at your football life. You know sometimes when it rains a pours a little bit. We just do job on the road managing the situation. But you know that's just part of football and and you have to not overreact to it and we had three turn up four turnovers and four straight possessions and our guys didn't panic They just kept focus there. There's time left for us still win this game. They believed that went down and scored a touchdown gotta turnover and scored another touchdown. And then we're one-stop away from having the ball with opportunity to get a field goal to citizen over time. I don't think anybody would have thought that nine minutes fourth quarter but there were and we just didn't panic zag joe. Joanna talked about yesterday about maybe not taking enough shots and maybe stressing the defense a little. Bit more vertically. What did you make their comments post game and do you feel like maybe you did wait too late or do you feel like get based on the game script you guys attack downfield the appropriate south real sharks called sometimes the coverage takes away the running game going effect that loosen up the defense Maybe even more so than taking some shots. It was kind of a bit of a funny run game yesterday because he ended up with twenty carries for sixty yards and really. We felt like we'd really good balanced twenty runs twenty passes on first second down and there were there was only one negative run and so a lot of two and three yard runs in our. And your your your really close to break those for sixty seven and being in better situations there so none of the runs really hurt us. But we didn't have enough really good ranch. We just had some some that. Just got us a couple of two three four yards there and again. It's usually just one little thing away. It's not so much what they're doing but just the things that we can improve on ourselves and so again it was. It was just a twenty carry for sixty yards where we felt like there was. There was a little bit more meat on the bone than than what we ended up getting. Those are just some things were going to prove on. I'm kind of mention you guys ran against some light boxes and hoped that those would hit for more than they would. Is that kind of the frustrate work. 'cause you waste not waste to down. I should say that you use it on a running. Play when you're supposed to when you're trailing and you had because you have a light box you don't take advantage of is that kinda doubly critical to you just have to at that. Yeah our expectation. Level are standard when we face some of those boxes. We have to capitalize on and and again. It's early in the season. We know we're going to get into rhythm here in have a great running game. There was just a couple of missed opportunities in that regard in this game. What do you want the offense of identity to be that we can build off over. Run it you know and still be able to have an official run game that really challenges people so they got put extra guys in the box and then take advantage of playmakers that we have on the perimeter. You look at what's been going on your pass protection last week. You had said that the number five sacks wasn't really telling about the offensive line play when you look at the nine hits that joe chuck. Did you read that out and bowling up on that. You gave credit to chicago's defensive front. Obviously the road doesn't get easier. Pittsburgh's defensive fronts. I guess. Are you planning to manage What what happens on sunday day. Get ready.

"How much how much would you would would. Joe chuck chuck joke. Would how much would you enjoy listening to like an all like an all star broadcast. Let's just say it's like vince. Gully bob euchre the all-time grades like joe bucks. Dad if you were to do all that would shit sorry. This umpire just got buckets. Right in the leg giancarlo stanton guaranteed hit. This ball hundred twelve miles an hour off the fucking shin buddy that hurt. Oh it was one hundred twenty point three or he ate it all my god. He knows sold it though. Oh oh instant grab fair fair. Fuck i can't feel my leg. No sold it. He didn't even even rub it. Oh man well. there's no rub it. Kitty can't feel it. I mean he grabbed for to make sure that his leg was still hobbled he did. He did like two to three hobbles and then he he made the call. Didn't wins nothing that. I don't know who that umpire is. Let's see what his fucking name is. That is that looks like jordan Is lance barrett. Oh what yup that is lance barrett and he ate that one hundred twenty grounder off the shin. Oh my yeah and that's coming off like wet grass. That's that's a rocket. I mean he jared. He thought his right foot was in right. Field stepped on a land mine. I don't know what it looks. Extremely painful i can imagine for lance barrett. You gotta credit credit's due umpires by the way. Did you see the clip of angel hernandez made me like him a little bit. What signing a ball. Yeah no you know what that made me. Think but what he knows. He knows what he knows. He knows what he's doing. He knows what kind of a cause. I can't call him a cult hero. He's he's like a he's a cult enigma. Almost he's a he's a cult figure cult-figure sure he knows that he is a prominent figure within our game. That doesn't make him a fan favourite by any means but he knows that he's he's a guy if this if major league baseball were a reality. Tv show he's he's a he's a member of the cast for sure angel hernandez knows that when fourteen you teams are getting dicked over an eight o'clock in the morning games with drunk empire back. They're they're telling everybody back home that they got angel hernandez d- It's not that it's not that angel. I'm not saying angels of drunk. I'm saying that when you get screwed over by an umpire. That's what they're telling what happened at when when an umpire does a bad job. The first name that comes up is his what happened. We got fucking angel. Either him or joe west. Which i think is unfair. I think country. Joe does the best that he can cowboy. Joe i'll never forget. Rodger davis sliding into home plate. Taking out joe west and like leaning on him falling on him and like needing raja's help to get off of raja raja. Can you turn over and bench. Press me off of you please. It and i can't remember which game it was. A game at fenway where someone was stealing second the throw is terrible and they just fired it right into his gut and prevented the runner from taking third. Because it's like. Oh it's it out joe that's like i wish i wish umpires were allowed to do more. I don't think it's that they're not allowed. But they're just not gonna do media right like we tried to get angel hernandez or woolsey or they're so so so. Yeah yeah we can but like trust me. I've been massaging this. Because they're accessible. And i have access. Oh yeah but it's like. I'll say that i've been massaging this for quite a while. With whom can you say. Oh well with with multiple multiple guys. There's there's some just like in the game players when you're active. There's their stories that you can't tell. Yeah i wanna get like. I want to get joe west or wolf e or angel or i'm trying to think of who i think jim. Joyce be perfect like he's retired. He still got it if we got jimmy. Obviously he's umpired some legendary games and he's been at some pretty big controversy. I wouldn't want to make the whole thing about gallaraga but that's something that's something honestly for me. That would be something we touch on to get to how baseball embraces. The relationship player umpire umpire manager like that whole dynamic because the very next day was something that people needed to see that i needed to know about jim. Joyce and what kind of character that man has. And so yeah. That's something you touch on. Because that's something like like he would honestly like just having an idea of who he is not knowing him on that level he would look at you and be like like. So we're we. Did this all sit down. And you didn't not once you didn't ask you fuck it. Yeah you do your job. What are you doing there. Those would be the guys though. Jim joyce joe west angel hernandez they've got stories and i totally agree that most of them cannot be told while they're active. Wanna know like who's going out for a beer after games and shit like that well and it's like like Like umpires that are older and longer tenured that have younger guys on their crew. You know they might not they might not be fans of that kind of publicity because there's still some guys that are like hey if nobody knows my name. I like that means a couple of things. I've done my job. And i'm not. I'm not fucking up to the point where people are thinking. I'm making it about me. Yeah that is that is a big thing with them as you know some of them do wanna make it about them but a lot of them. Don't sure but what i found is the ones who are willing to make it about them. To an extent will also accept the criticism. They'll they'll allow the back and forth because they get it. they understand. they've been a. They've been human enough to acknowledge their mistakes. And i don't want to say in real time but like even during a game like a call. Does it get made early. On and later in that ballgame. Maybe when your work is done. You're tipping your cap on the way off the field.

"Don't see why the nationals would not move forward without him. However you've got strasbourg sign long-term you're going to have to give soto a zillion will deserve in today's day and age. You wanna bring max scherzer back somehow next year. So there's only so much money to go around but trae turner's a better player than people think he is and among all these great shortstops coming up for free agency and he's not one of them yet because he's arbitration eligible next run here that that guy's really really good okay. I'm glad you feel that way. Our stick with the nats. And i will say what i've said to my son a number of times in the last few days. The clinical definition of insanity is to keep repeating the same thing over and over and think the result will be different davey martinez continues to trot out. Brad hand to save games who continues to blow saved games. He's awful. He's just awful are the does anybody want him and with the nets. Get rid of him. Yes my guess. Is brad hand daniel hudson. Who's good brad. Hand hasn't been good lately. Both we'll move. This is the time of year. Tony where relievers go to championship caliber teams and they make a difference. Given how important bullpens are to every game these days. Daniel hudson would really help a contender brad. Hand as a left-hander could really help somebody but probably not as the closer at least not the way he has pitched lately. I i think the nats are unloading or moving people. It will be those two guys. I as opposed to and turner and there will be people in line to get daniel hudson and there were people. There will be people who want brad hand okay. I'll get outta here on this and we'll go national with joe madden who everybody loves. Because he's a wreck on tour smart guy Thinks that there's no doubt that shohei otani is the mvp in the american league. No doubt and if you vote for somebody else you'd be an idiot. I think you could vote for blair vlad guerrero junior. I mean he could win the triple crown and the other part is Somebody on the red sox is someone used somebody in the last third of the season but just is dynamic on a on a team that is in the playoffs. The angels are not even in the playoffs at the moment. I could see giving it to them. But i'm wondering how you feel about what madden said with otani. Well of course. He's going to say that about his own guys. Yes it's been the most incredible season really that any of us has ever seen given that he got to thirty five. It got to a hundred strikeouts as a pitcher with thirty five home runs. The most runs before that of any pitcher got to one hundred strikeouts was nine. He hit us thirty six last night so he has four times many homers as any pitcher who's ever struck out one hundred batters in the season. That's how good shohei otani has been and yet if Black guerrero wins the triple crown and somehow toronto makes playoffs. How can you vote against him. I i don't think he's gonna win. Even if he wins the triple crown ted williams and forty two and forty seven one the triple crown and didn't win the mvp. Gary won the triple crown and thirty four and did when the vpn joe Chuck klein in nineteen thirty three. None of that matters today. Here's the different sony. It's not the mvp anymore for me. We are voting on this as the player of the year. It's no longer about. Did you help your team win and go to the playoffs. That is a secondary element. Now it's still a primary element for old guys like me. I wanna see you take your team to the playoffs. And you're right zander. bogart's rafael devers has an amazing finish here and the red sox win the division. They're they're going to get a lot of support for mvp and they should. But i'm telling you again shohei ohtani. This moment is the mvp and should be the mvp but that could change. I'll go way back on this. You'll remember soil versus of the twins had a great year. He was voted. Mvp twins finish like eighty games out. And you say wait. How valuable could he be. You know i mean just say most outstanding player. If you wanna make it that way right i mean that's it's semantical but it's a legitimate thing to say right right well. Andre dawson won the mvp on a sub five hundred. Eighteen cal ripken but things have changed in the voting process. And the way we look at things. And i'm okay with change but if i'm voting i'm gonna i'm still going to take a look at how many truly meaningful game that you play and how much you have to do with your team. Winning those are difficult questions today. But i still ask them. Thank you tim talk soon. Appreciated have fun doing the game tonight. Okay tony thank you tim. Kurkin boys and girls is headed out right now to an avocado stand. One of those foods and vegetables stands we come back with email and jingle. I'm.

That's the greatest fun stuff from last may two mays ago. Eight four four two four rich number. Dial right here on the rich eisen show radio network on peacock. We come back a little bit earlier while you're listening to this radio station and all the important ads and advertisers and supporters of this show We we do. We do show a video from our past archive and we had peyton manning on the day after the first match where he was tired. teamed up with tiger. Now so awesome. That rain you know what i mean i. It's is just were. I feel like we're taking it for granted a little bit. I feel like we're taking it for granted already a little bit that. What that this We're getting these cool matchups school foursome or no. That may twenty eighth. I think it was two thousand twenty. We were in full on lockdown in this country and some places were already you know itching to get out of it and the society that we see today About this virus and how it is split many people Was beginning to take hold and we were all wondering when sports is gonna come back. How quickly could it possibly come back. We were still even holding out. Hope there could be a you know an nba season continuing like let's just go back into the arenas member was a two week hiatus when the nba took its break. Pause the season in the middle of march like we'll revisit two weeks. Well then two months later is when that happened and it was just a reminder of competition there were no fans it was weird but it was like a game a list athletes bringing their games best they could and brady struggled you know and it was just until he didn't and then we heard them. You know going back and forth. Fill at one point was talking about you know here if i hit the chip this way or that way and you heard him basically walk us through what he was going to do with the chip and then he did it. It was amazing. It really was an amazing event. And now here. We are your later if you had told us then. Okay if you had told us then two things one that one year plus later so it would be what is it. It's about fourteen months or thirteen months and a week. Later from late may to early july that it would be taking place once again to nfl players into professional players that brady let's put a brady and mickelson would be teamed up again and it would be part of. Nba finals game. One in front of a full house in phoenix and it would also be major league baseball. Get ready for one week before. It's all star game on time in front of all stadiums and also that aaron rodgers would be swapped out for peyton manning but his future. The packers would be completely up in the despite him winning the mvp of the upcoming nfl season. That would go off with many hitches but without losing a game and we would get through the nfl season with positivity rate in the nfl of way less than one percent and on top of all of it tiger wouldn't be there because we're wondering whether he would ever play golf again because he gets into an accident where it looked like you he was dead. I blush and that he was the best player on that day. He brought his a game more than anybody else. On that day he was stupendous on that day. And the reigning masters champion. Were wondering you know when they were gonna ever play the masters and they said well. We'll do it in the fall. And they did it in the fall. But he was the reigning masters champion in that may in which they hadn't played the masters because that got pushed. I think we take it for granted a little bit. Certainly take it for granted when you know in all honesty. I'm i'm watching a full packed. House of somebody. Eating seventy million hotdogs seventy six. Oh my goodness record. Now i'm going to get into this situation here. The joey chestnut joe chuck. I'm gonna get into the city. 'cause we've we've played into this before we've had we've had we joe. I think i've ever seen is watching them. Dip hotdogs in water and then consume it without basically tasting it. Richard shea is the. It's just absolutely positively disgusting and it is not a sport. It's not a sport professional eating or competitive. Eating is exactly the type of thing that i'm trying to keep my children from doing every single day every single day. If you're done if you're full you're finished. Don't gorge yourself if you want. It's not a competition. Sit around sit at the table and let's spend as much time as possible as a family. I know you want to go back to your dumb ass roablocks or whatever but it is one of those things where i again. I am getting older. I'm north of fifty two years ago. Plus when i turned fifty. "This is the way it is. I mean. You're Georgia the taking over towards your. Georges is the most Republican part of the state still for site county that area Cherokee County highly Republican. So if you're a Democrat and you want to get elected in Cherokee county you run as a Republican and if you're a democratic voter and you want to vote for the most likely Democratic candidate you have to vote in the Republican primary But then you get into your presidential primaries you want to vote in the Democratic primary. You could be a mixed voter. You could vote half the time and a Republican and Democratic primaries. And you've got to decide. Well you get the voter violent shows you all this. It's never going to show you who you for. I cannot tell you the number of times I go through this with people and they always say so. What you're telling me is the Maj- voter file can tell who I voted for. No no would your voter file can tell is what party you prefer and primaries and you can logically presumed that a someone is voting in a Republican primary every year when you get to the general election. They're going to vote for the Republican candidate or same with the Democrats and so what you can tell with. Registered voters as registered voters tend to Lean Democrat but with registered. Voters a lot of registered voters. Don't actually vote. Their preference would be Democrat. But they don't go vote so the best. Most accurate polling is the likely voter. The likely voter is a fairly even balance of people who vote in the way. You turn likely figure out the likely voter. Id you actually go. Get that voter file from the Secretary of State's office and you find the people who always vote in presidential election years and there's you're likely voter. They have voted in the last three presidential elections by God. They're going to vote in this one. Why because pass patterns of practice with people they made it pass pass patterns may not be the indicator of future performance of the stock market but past patterns among people are the best indicator of future performance over. Burson so if you're always voting in republican primaries by God you're probably GonNa vote in a Republican primary this time if you always vote in presidential elections by God. You're voter presidential election this year. There's you're likely voters and they tend to be fairly accurate to a slight bias of Democrats in the reason. There's a slight bias of Democrats in that. Poland has more to do with California New York and Chicago than anything else. You weed out those. You get a really accurate poll. Now I give you that entire long winded explanation to get to the ABC News Washington Post. Poll it is a registered voters and it has Joe Biden at forty nine. Donald TRUMP AT forty seven. Which means if you were to poll likely voters we're at a tied race or a slight advantage to donald trump. The Democrats are not happy with that. The Democrats really don't like that because ABC News Washington. Post is a credible poll. Abc News Washington. Post was the first poll to show that the president's approval for the covert nineteen situation. Is it fifty six percent? They really don't like that information and so they're thinking they wanna go somewhere else but it may be too late to go somewhere else and there are some speculation now that one of the reasons they're dragging out these democratic primaries is because they're pondering who else to go with. I know the guy. They're thinking of going with one of the things we've heard from healthcare professionals there have been thefts of Medical equipment and masks from hospitals. Believe it or not not just people taking a couple of three. I mean just the actual facts of those products. I've asked the state police to do an investigation a look at marketplaces. That are settling masks. Et CETERA. Medical Equipment Protective. Wear playing into this exploiting the anxiety. That's governor Andrew Cuomo of New York. The man the media has foisted to look more leaderly than Donald Trump. The man the media would like to go with Donald Trump. The man who the media thinks could best donald trump and if you notice on CNN and MSNBC by the way they're given Andrew Cuomo's Daily Press Conferences Wall to wall coverage at the same time. They're saying we should not cover. Donald Trump. They're covering Andrew Cuomo's press conferences. They would love to have Andrew Cuomo go against Donald Trump and they see the polling that Joe Biden is basically tied with Donald Trump among likely voters and they're beginning to panic. The president is clearly helped by this. And they don't like the fact that the president is helped by this. Here's the president on the whole this approval rating in pulling stuff your approval ratings than the highest. They've ever been as well. As the ratings on your handling of the virus there are some networks that are saying they're debating whether or not to carry these briefings live. Do you think there's a link between the two? Well I don't know I know that that's a nice question. Thank you very much yeah. I don't want high approval ratings for this. I wish we could have our old life back the greatest economy that we've ever had and we didn't have death. We didn't have this. We did have this horrible Scourge this plague he caller whatever you want the virus but We're working very hard. That's all I know. You know I see things. I see. Numbers They don't matter to me what matters to me is that we have victory over this thing as soon as possible. When you hear that two point two million people could have died. If we didn't go through all of this and and now the number will be you know a much lower number. Hopefully it's going to be the numbers that we're talking about but So I appreciate it very much but you know what I want. I want our life back again. I want our country back. I want the world BEC. I want the world to get rid of this again. Hundred and fifty one countries And we'RE GONNA WE'RE GONNA have a great victory we're GonNa have a great that was a very leisurely answer in the President keeps answers up like that. He's going to continue to be helped in the polling. And the media's constantly now having to play Gotcha and constantly trying to beat the drum on on these on the president versus by Joe Chuck. Todd is under a lot of fire from the right for having Joe Biden on an asking him this question. We'll play this exchange for you. Because Joe Biden himself gave very diplomatic answer. You gotta you gotTa give an Atta boy to Joe Biden for at least refusing to go where chuck todd opened him up to be able to you when it comes to critiquing president trump.

We're okay It's not anything it's not an emergency or anything but I should set a family. Marination said that but you get what I'm saying. It's a little hard for me to talk about right now. That photo is trying to engage with some draconian level gun confiscation measures and the good citizens of Virginia are in having it. I'm getting live updates from there thankfully which isn't surprising surprising to me or Joe Rabi else in the room at all. It is a largely peaceful rally. Because that's what concealed carry weapons permit holders and Second Amendment supporters are again none of that shocking to me. I'm getting updates via pictures videos. Everything it is a largely peaceful rally. It is packed. It is jammed down there and I just want to quickly say be very very careful down there. I'm not worried about the second amendment supporters at all. I never am have lower rates of of criminality than police officers. I'm not kidding. They are largely peaceful people interested in their big our God given right to defend themselves in their family. I'm concerned about leftist. Agitators in the crowd trying to instigate a fight. Now Luckily these second amendment supporters again are largely a mature adult audience. Who again is defending big? Our God given rights and is interested in getting into petty back and forth with falls. Just please be careful out out there. I know a lot of you. Listen to my show and watch my show. Don't get baited by a lot of these leftist agitators. So y'all wake up, and you, you get back on the, the river have breakfast. I, I mean you can't if you'd like what would you look at breakfast eggs, eggs. What kind of does you bring chicken with you ostrich, maybe Jamie, maybe there's some sort of like canned eggs, what I mean? I mean you gotta do what you gotta do. Maybe powdered eggs. In fact, I think there was some pattern eggs in the Jeep the Nazi, that you'll or Nazi truck in the rationed. So you you're gonna have some German powdered eggs, are they tasty? They are not awful. I think they got I think they got gasoline in. Terrible. All right. So y'all. The four while we're hanging out having breakfast. I'm going to be like, hey Indy. Just wanted to make sure you're doing okay that the bullet wound wasn't hurting until you said something. And then he remembered. And he's, he's trying to be tough, but it's obvious that it's now bothering him. I'm sorry. I shouldn't have brought it up. Okay. He's a little perspective. So you'll make it back on the river. It's, it's wearing a breastplate jackpot. So this is a human skeleton, the liberally human skill. Is it like is it like the brigand dean the like Spanish when it is? But you also notice with your eight behind the skeleton is, is a kind of cave. I noticed the skeleton, but I didn't notice the kids. Jockey zeroed in on the scale. That's a nice go. Maybe maybe Esperanza did maybe FRANZ at did notice and see was just, like I just don't need announce everything I see clearly. For you, definitely know that this is the skeleton. Oh, cool. It is clearly of a period with Francisco or Lana, who you are looking for. You also notice that he has a tagger. A Hagan between his ribs poking out the whole in the in the armor. Can I inspect it and see if it has any kind of markings or anything on it would suggest to belong to sure? Gimme investigations. Eleven eleven. That's pretty good. On the, the, the pommel. Yeah. The pommel of the hilt you see in very fancy script f. Right. Y'all think lawn has been here. I think the staggered belong to him. Can I keep it catch the mic? No, it's my mouth that okay with everyone. However, however, and he like on her shoulder, and he looks very seriously at her. And he says it belongs in a museum. Of course, we're talking. All right. And don't run with it. That's only a problem if she finds another one, and then, like, then. Okay. So you found the skeleton next to cave. The while there's a cave. So this, this probably isn't Francisco are lawn. All right. I mean, I guess it's I mean, like I hate to say I guess it's possible could put his own knife and himself. But I mean of all the places you're going to put a knife in you in your life. I don't know. I wanna put one in my armpit. I. I. Painful way to go. Well, the other the other conclusions are be someone else stabbed him with his own knife, or see Francisco Alana stabbed of this person. And if that's the case, who is this one, don't you? Give me a history, check their Indiana. Jones, I got a five. You gotta five you know, this is not friends who are Lana. Okay. You've seen pictures and his armor, is very ornate. This is just a regular kind of soldiers armor. This is this would not have been him, but it would have been a Spanish soldier, right? Definitely. It wouldn't have been an enemy just by by default. It's not it's not like how we're killing Nazis, right? This is definitely one of his men. I guess we should go in the cave. You don't cave. Yeah. I wouldn't suggest we not go. What are we just going to get? Well, here's a spooky cave. Let's get back on the boat and leave. Let's keep going. We got enough skulls. They can't get them all if we've got a few. No, okay. Yes. I'm gonna light my torch, please. And let's go in the cage towards us. See a very shallow K. After after the Joe. Chuck reaches back and pulls out to flashlights. One of these them both on can you get the third and like put it in your mouth, or I actually threw it at a Nazi, but we could also to through your flashlight through your flashlight found three and then I found three. Yeah. Right. Three but one of my mouth. No wait. No wait. I give it to Reggie. How much more effective than my torch are the flesh. I would assume very like very actually. Yeah. They have a concentrated beam of light, where torch is more of an ambient like room lite. Let's say so, so like Jones looks at you and frowns. And then he liked houses the torch again and puts it back, his now, we'll say for for torches versus flashlights, flashlights show. Something better in a in a shrew base. It might be worth hand, which is gonna is gonna light up the entire room does not as well. Yeah. But it was it was funny. It was it was funny. Out some lighting facts, and that's your job as the GM good timing. It's my job as a character to be hilarious. Well, let me know when you start. Oh my gosh. I didn't know indie giant at the end of this one. That was a slam dunk. Alex, just go going. I'm funny. Now let's go and no. You're not. That's not a slam. If he had said, no, you're not. Let's move on. What's in this? That you leave yourself just wide open. I'm crying over here. All right. Good comedy. I say. Okay credit for this. All right. All right. All right. So this is a very shallow cave. But what you do. Notice. There's a hole in the floor about about thirty feet in, yeah. Yeah. Holes. How big is this whole in how much do I, not want to crawl into it? The whole is. Let's say it's about five five foot in amateur regular pretty good. It's pretty good. It's it looks it looks like it's, it's pretty pretty dark down there. Hey sign your three flashlights there. All right, Jack. Yeah. I'll do that. Would it kill you to say please? Put plays. Please. Lighten up that cave Reggie Reggie does to assume. I mean Jockan Reggie three fist these, these flashlights looking down at this cave, and you see. A little glint of gold. How how deep is the cave. How far down the cave to the bottom a little hole. Sorry. The hole in the cave is about twenty feet. Okay. There's, there's really nothing that down on I have a rope broke. Oh, me too. I think John has a rope. Name is Reggie. Yeah. Well with my. Unshakeable curiosity, which is one of my hindrances. I feel like I gotta go down in that whole. Do you got curious as a hindrance? Listen, big mouth. I have..

"Don't see wrinkles. Oh, I see. On my shoulder and alo- alo- Adrian Burg, and this is generation bowl the fountain of truth and every single week for the past. I used to say four years. Five years. I am with all of you talk about successful aging in all of its permutations and all of its aspects. And as we get older, there's one thing we we often say, well, we don't have enough of this or enough of that well one area in our life that we have too much of. And that is. A last night. And this is absolutely true. I was at a local library. I was at a lecture being given to dine downside how to get rid of you stuff. They had to close the doors. There was so many people who came to hear this was part of their major life concern and was called the kids don't want it. Well, you may have seen trucks in your area because I'm talking to you from all over the country. I you may see ads you may hear something on the radio that there are businesses that will come and take away your stuff. Well, what should you use them? Who's behind these businesses? Is it safe? What is it cost? Is it gonna live up? What the good stuff you have that you perhaps like donated? What's it all about? And what happens if it's not your stuff? It's your mom. Your dad stuff how sensitive is it to say? Hey, we gotta trash. Well, we have an expert. We have the CFO. Very very, well, regarded company in the northeast, and it's called Joe Chuck right year, Facebook Joe, Jack. And he is CFO is name is Ken Fernando. And he founded the company, and he's here to answer my questions and by answering my questions, he's answering your questions so Ken. Thanks so much for being with us today. Go thanks for having me. Let's start with that who's behind this. I mean, Ken Fernando. He call you some Joe junk. But how did it happen that you got into this business of taking people's stuff and getting rid of it for them? Well, it actually started about four years ago, and I'm actually the CFO of a larger company, and we were looking to diversify operations, and we looked into a lot of different businesses. And we'd like the model the business model of the junk removal business. It seemed like a perfect fit for us. We had a customer base of over twenty five thousand customers we were already in homes doing HVAC fuel oil delivery. We did plumbing and water treatment, and we did swimming pool services. So we have a nice customer base. We were already in people's homes. We're a business that had been around about seventy five years where family business, and again, it just seemed like a perfect fit for us. It was another service that we could offer our customers, and it's taken off from there. Subsequently went from our customer base to working with realtors and banks and property managers and estate sale companies and so on so it really what the perfect fit for us. I was gonna bring out that Kim told me that he was a CPA. There's a reason I'm bringing this up to all of you. You may have the notion that because baby boomers I just now retiring, and because you just now seeing the same the past few years this need these companies that come to you and say, well, come into your home. We'll take away everything you just point. And it'll disappear. You gotta watch out look for company. Like Joe junk that with the the people behind it, the founders of really been in business for very very long time. It just they didn't wake up in the morning and decide, hey, this is a lucrative thing to do. And go and begin to do this and say that they're in this business. I it's very rare to find a job junk type of business that's more than five or six years old because of us because we're I bringing this need into the marketplace. So these businesses are generally knew what would they doing before? And that's a question that very few people ask when they look around to see all they want to know is what is it gonna cost? Yeah. Now, lemme ask that without numbers necessarily. I know it kind of goes by the load. So can you explain to people what they might expect from cost as I understand it the way Joe junk works at more or less has to do with how much stuff you talking about? Exactly Adrian, we we charge by volume. We have a fifteen cubic yard dumpster. And I dump truck I should say. And I know that's hard for people to understand. But think of a small think of. Parking space. That's maybe ten feet long eight feet wide and six feet high that would be equivalent to fifteen to big yards. And again, we charge by volume by how much we fill up our truck. We try to break down everything as much as possible. So let's say you have some furniture. That's not in its donating state. Okay. Instead of putting a table in our truck will cut off the legs. So it takes up less space. So there was a really has a lot to do with the packing of of the items. Obviously, the better, you pack, the more you get in a big the bigger bang for the buck the customer get but fancier question. It's basically based on valium by how much we up our truck. And again now. There are some things that you cannot by law take now because we're in eight different states, and different counties, and within each state has many different counties. I would suggest to all the listeners to perhaps call the county and find out whether township in my case is there anything that. They can't just dispose of this way. But most professional removers will know so in your case, it's kind of similar most nationwide. What can't you take? So people know how does it differently? Yeah. It is very similar in most states. And we can't take paints. We can't take anything that has gas or in any kind of chemicals, you know, like for pesticides things like that. Obviously any medical waste any dead batteries other than that, we pretty much can take anything we again recycled responsibly electronics and so on so we can take electron IX we can take tires as long as they're dealt with responsibly. And and how I do wanna talk for a moment. Although this is not the major reason that most of the listeners need to downsize one reason is construction they have construction stuff maybe even bags of asbestos that can you take construction items. We will let us take we can take construction items as best as we can not take that should be dealt with separately. There are special companies who handle with Festus and typically a junk removal company, like us does not. Handle this specis. But as far as far as would cement anything else related to construction. We certainly can take. Now, let's go to the jugular here, and then fully fully get to the world of leave the world of what is it cost? I wanna talk a moment about time one of the big issues, and I had this personally. So I I do along a little bit is that most people don't know what they have everything's all piled up, take you. And we'll talk about this in another segment if they're working for someone else like their mom or dad familiar with the territory. Many people most people everything's in the garage where everything is in the basement has been for years might be the box. I don't even know what's in there is it appropriate to ask the removal professional called to help you just look through it. And if it's time consuming, well, it costs extra. What's the scoop on how much we can push that particular issue? Well, we try to help as much as possible, obviously, we don't want our guys standing around while someone is sorting through it. But it's not unusual for someone to not be able to get to an item because it's covered up by other items and not even realize what's there until those other items are taking are taking away. So as long as it's done in a timely fashion. We have no problem with helping the person sort through what they have going through boxes. And obviously, they probably haven't seen some of this stuff in years. They don't know what it is. And as long. As cooperation on both sides. We really don't have a problem with helping them sort out through items. No, we have better minute live to the same. When we come back. I want to talk about some more of the emotional issues that have to do with this. But I I wanna talk about one more practical things quickly and that is safety. I, you know, people would come to your home. And when you hire people to do this. What do you look for in the people you hire? Well, one thing that's is positive is people who've had experience in the moving business because they know their ways in and out of the house. They know how to angle items out of the house, so they're not banging indoors and so on and obviously that's a big plus, but the most important thing is customer service. We want friendly courteous people again, you're dealing with people who have a big emotional attachment to some of the things that are being taken away. And you know, our guys understand that. And I think above all that. That's the most important thing is is to realize that your take. Away something that someone had in their house for maybe fifty years, and that'd be sensitive to that back. Well, this is wonderful. And I think this is what people wanna hear need to know when we come back. We're going to talk about just that issue and talk about sensitivity that you may feel why is it so hard? One of the things that people have told me is they've finally gotten to the stage of getting rid of this stuff, and they call one more two or three times..
