Trish Examines the Risk to Our Markets in the Coming Months

"Anyway, I want to get to what Stan was saying there with my friend Joe kernan at CNBC at a conference that they had recently take a listen to this because this is a guy who's seen it all a brilliant investor. Here's what he thinks. I will be stunned if we don't have a recession in 23. Don't know the timing, but certainly by the end of 23, I will not be surprised if it's not larger than the so called average garden variety. And I don't rule out, not my forecast, but I don't rule out something really bad. Why? Because if you look at the liquidity situation that has driven this, we're going to go from all this QE to QT, we're following an asset bubble, we've been doing all this running down on the SPR, which is now that's the strategic patrol in reserve. He's talking about the strategic petroleum reserve, and he's pointing out the Q T, which is the quantitative tiny. In other words, the fed is sucking all this money out of the system and he goes on to explain how many mistakes Janet Yellen made in all of this, but you've been spending so much money for so long and now you're doing the reverse. How do you not have a recession? But I think my friend Neil, we'll talk to him a little bit. In a little bit, I think he would argue this has been a long time come a long time coming because even before 2020, you had an extraordinarily aggressive fed. And it makes it so that we're facing a more catastrophic type of environment.

"Louisiana state senator Joe Kennedy. John Kennedy, sorry. I love him. He's funny to me, but he launched this new ad campaign that took aim at anti cop voters the other day to 32nd ad, he tells viewers that violent crime is surging in Louisiana and behind in their images of dark figures holding guns surrounding a white truck and he says, walk leaders blame the police. And there's all protesters carrying signs that read defund the police, I blame the criminals, he said. I voted against the early release of criminals, and I oppose defunding police. Look, if you hate cops, just because they're cops. Next time you're in trouble, call a crackhead. I love this guy. I always like his appearances on Fox News. He's got that Cajun sense of humor. We don't get too much of any more. Up here and he out in California. I got it when I was down there. I love the Yuma down there when I was in the French Quarter and hanging out with some friends. Rep. Kelly Armstrong Shares the Latest on the Continuing Resolution

"It should be the month in which your finalizing actual appropriations, actual plans, actual stuff. But as we've come to find out, this is, you know, and we experienced this, we even who we are majority is, we got a very broken appropriation system in D.C., and in a lot of reasons for that, but it needs to fix. A lot of stuff's being talked about now about adding on how far the CR continuing resolution is going to go. Give us a little bit of an update on what that looks like and how we can fit that in. Sure. I think right now, I mean, this week in D.C. is what I call a filler week. You understand what I mean. We're voting on suspensions. We're doing some of those things because the Democrats in the Senate are trying to negotiate whether they can get Joe Manchin's super secret top secret permitting Bill attached to it, and they've got 72 House progressives who said they aren't going to support it. Bernie has already come out against it. And at the same time, you're trying to negotiate whether the CR will run until December or potentially till January. So my guess is the permitting stuff will end up off the bill. I don't know how they get there. They're not getting a lot of sympathy from Republicans on the Senate side, permitting is something I actually know a little bit about, considering North Dakota and the oil and gas in the shale boom. I don't think any Republicans have been brought into the conversation on this. So my guess is by the end of this week, I mean, if I had to guess and this is just game theory, we'll find out that the permitting stuff's going to be stripped off, which is what I said when the original build back mansion Bill came to the floor anyway. Why Has the American Media Sunken so Low?

"Little black, you made a very interesting statement in the first segment that for some reason in the British political scene in the mainstream media there and in Canada, they haven't resorted as yet to the slur of calling somebody a Nazi, why is it as a historian of American politics? Why have we sunk in so low here that in the last 6 years, that has become the epithet of choice for anyone who is a conservative? This is something that I think would require to answer it with a third, a great deal of sophisticated sociological analysis, but shooting from the hip. I think at least part of the answer is that the arrival of Trump and the Trump phenomenon, the exposure of the vulnerability of the political establishment, the sort of bush McCain Obama Romney group think that in post rig and in the post Reagan era. To control everything in Washington, everything politically in the country. The fact that it was overturned and almost completely crushed in one blow in 2016 and is still fighting for its light. And not all that successfully on the current appearances. So shock the political establishment in the U.S. including the national political media that had made it an irresistible temptation for great many completely simple minded people who are happy to pedal sheer fiction anyway, no matter how malicious and unfounded it is

Lord Conrad Black on the Media's Lambasting of Italy's Giorgia Meloni

"Let's focus at the recent events in Europe. This was Giorgio maloney, the incoming prime minister speaking earlier this year, at cpac. And I think we've ascertained why it is they hate her so much. This is cut 12. The successful political candidate, the conservative, Georgia meloni. People understand that in this age, the only way of being rebels is to preserve what we are. The only way of being rebels is to be conservatives. Is the same all over the world. So called progressive. Use the power and the arrogance of their mainstream media to force their political opponents to change, to be allowed into their inner circles, except that once the right wing men and women are admitted into progressive inner circles, they will have changed so much that conservative people will no longer recognize them and will stop supporting them. And that's exactly what they want. A right wing on a leash. That's what they want a right wing on a leash. When you look at the censorship of the Hunter Biden story, the raid of Mar-a-Lago on and on et Al. Perhaps these are the reasons that she has been so lambasted by the left wing media because of statements like that one, lord black. Yeah, I think that is very likely right. And actually, I thought what she said was a skillful adapt analysis. And this attempt to describe her as fascist is just the reflex that we have in almost all of these countries. I mean, in fairness, the British and Canadians being relatively more moderate than vandy that we're in so much. But and you Americans are overachievers. But from fascist Nazi, which is, of course, even more odious as it connotes genocide. But this is the shorthand we're in. Anyone who is not supposedly progressive, although we now see from the floundering of the Biden administration that progressive policies lead to economic regression and procession. Anyone who is not on the progressive bandwagon, it won't do to call them a conservative. That's not defamatory enough. You have to call them the fascist.

Are the Good Guys Winning Again? Lord Conrad Black Explains

"As if we've had an intermezzo a little hiatus in conservative successes, especially with what happened in 2020 with the elections here in America. But it looks as if given Sweden given Italy that the good guys are winning again. Is it too early to say that? I don't think so. I don't think so. The 2020 election obviously is a special case. I mean, despite the frenzied and it must be said, somewhat successful efforts of a unanimous national political media to maintain the pretense. There's no possible question about that election. It is clear as we get close to the midterms that approximately half the people suspect that it was a cooked result. At least in part. And so we will never know. You can't change presidents now, but that was just a very unusual election in a pandemic with a lot of new and easily abused rules of voting and vote counting. So it doesn't really stand there as a turning point in ideological or policy terms. But the rest of the trend, I think, is fairly clear. You have a movement to the right within the Conservative Party of the United Kingdom. Gains for the right and the recent French elections and the incumbent reelected government of president Macron moving somewhat to the right within the spectrum to accommodate that. The election in Italy, the election of a distinctly more conservative leader of the opposition in Canada. And as far as we can tell, you don't want to be premature, but the polls on balance coming up to the midterms do show a trend somewhat towards the Republicans. So

Charlie Explores the Unelected Fourth Branch of Government

"The Republicans take back the House and the Senate, people say we must impeach Joe Biden. And I think a better focus about our use of time is creating an impeachment strategy, not around Joe Biden, who's a temporary figurehead for a regime. But instead, really focusing on the inversion of the United States Constitution and how we are living in an upside down dictatorship. So let me just ask a series of questions. And again, I'm all for getting rid of Joe Biden, obviously, but if you remove Joe Biden, then Kamala Harris would just fill him and you got to ask, what's the point, fill the position? And what's the point of that? Not to say that Joe Biden's not a trader, of course he is. But a couple of questions, do we think for the next couple of generations? The next 20 or 30 years do we think that we're going to be fighting against Joe Biden or do we think it's the administrative state? Do we think for the next 50 years the threat to American liberty will be Joe Biden the person or the administrative state the machine? Here's another series of questions. Do we think that with a presidential impeachment, we would have the mandate or the ability to uncover and hold accountable what has become this superstructure of the fourth branch of government, which is why I recommend three or four simultaneous impeachments at once of mayorkas, of cardona, of Garland, and of Christopher wray. Impeach four of them at once and make it about the idea of the fourth branch of government. And yes, some of you are saying, well, Charlie those are those interchangeable parts. Well, you're not impeaching them as a person. You're impeaching their actions and your impeaching the machinery.

But where are you spending your time energy and resources? What candidates do you like the best? And then I know you got to run for votes. Let me give you three quick ones. The America first warrior on the West Coast is Joe Kent, he beat Jamie Herrera butler in a primary, but faces a tough general. So if you can help out Joe Kent in Washington state up in the northeast, Caroline leavitt is running an inspirational campaign in New Hampshire and I've got to mention my Florida woman buddy on a paulina Luna, who is going to flip Charlie Crist seat and she's got a great connection to turning point. I know turning points was a point graduate. She went through the whole process, had a lot of fun together, did a lot of campus stuff, and now she's going to be a member of Congress, which I think will be our first member of Congress we could say from turning point to Congress. That'd be kind of fun, right? Definitely not the last. That's the beginning. And that's why that's why the regime wants to come after both of us. Matt, go vote, hopefully no, on whatever it is because it's probably garbage being proposed by Nancy Pelosi. So don't put too much thought into it. I think no across the board should be smart, but I don't know what you're voting for. Matt God bless you, congratulations, keep fighting.

What Issues Resonate the Most With Arizona Voters?

"What are the messages that are resonating the most with voters here in the great state of Arizona? Well, recently, of course, it's education because we, we've always been on the cutting edge forefront of education freedom so that our families have options in Arizona and we just recently our legislature past ESAs for all, which some people call them vouchers. They're not officially called that. It basically, it means in Arizona, the funding follows the student. It doesn't get earmarked for one specific school. You decide where you want to send your kiddos and you send them off there. And of course, the left is attacking it. They don't want that. They don't want that education freedom for families. And so that's a big story. Of course, my opponent who went to a private school herself doesn't want other children in Arizona to have access to those private schools if their family chooses. That's the best fit for them. And so she tried to block it. She's, of course, in bed with the teachers unions who, by the way, don't care about the teachers. And they don't care about the students and they hate the families. So that's a big story. And the economy, we are seeing people struggle. People move here, Charlie, the Arizona, not just for a great climate, but because it's been an affordable place to live. And it's becoming less and less affordable that hurts our retirees. We have a large retiree population. You know, a dollar when Joe Biden took office is now only worth 87 cents, I think. And going down quickly. So it's very sad. Getting horror. And I don't know many people getting huge raises to make that make up that gap. It's not happening right now. So those are big issues. The border is a massive issue because the wide open border with the narco terrorists and cartels in charge is affecting every aspect of our life. The extension of pouring across the crime pouring across the people pouring across and they're ending up staying in housing that we could frankly use for arizonans.

"Cut ten. Here's more of what Stephen Miller said about the cognitive decline of Joe Biden and why it matters. I'm not sitting here just trying to take political pot shots at Democrats. That's not what we're saying. You have got to understand what the risk is here. Stephen Miller sure understands it. Of course, we can talk about Afghanistan, the greatest foreign policy humiliation in American history without even a close second, we can talk about the fact that this administration is now presiding over the first war in Europe since the Second World War, obviously you've had some conflicts, so I shouldn't say the first major war in Europe since the Second World War. There's obviously been some conflicts, but the first major war in Europe. And nothing like, for example, what happened in the Balkans or what happened in the Clinton administration, you're talking about something that could lead us to nuclear war. You're talking so that could lead us to World War II. So this could lead to nuclear war. Do you understand it?

James Rosen: Sources Report Similar Scenes of Disorientation by Biden

"What to do in the First Lady and this is not the first time that's happened, he always just looks confused when he's up on that stage. Any idea what's going on there? Look, I've spoken with sources inside the administration who report similar scenes of disorientation on the part of the president in various settings. And some of these have been visible to the public. I think there's been two different occasions where the president has sought to shake hands with people who are not standing there. And The White House, we should point out, always responds to any inquiries along these lines. And to my knowledge, I am the only reporter who has put such an inquiry directly to President Biden himself back in January. His aides always respond to increase along these lines by saying that the president is fully robust and engaged and that there is no issue. With his cognitive faculties, but scenes like yesterday's are not good optics for the president. In terms of reassuring Americans about that issue. And to the extent that Americans are concerned about it is manifest in the poll that I asked the president about back in January of this year, which ran in Politico, it was a Politico morning consult poll that found 49% of American voters disagreeing with the statement Joe Biden is mentally fit. The same poll found not even a majority of Democrats willing strongly to affirm that statement. And so when events like these occur, I think they add to that perception that was reflected in that polling data. And when The White House crafts responses that are distinctly unsatisfactory to any sentient listener, I think they inadvertently wind up stoking that perception.

Maybe I can land in your backyard, roger. There is a little airport near my backyard. We can talk about that, but I talked to Jose Cruz here on our staff, has just checked the air traffic and nothing is flying into this area of Florida at all, even Orlando, but I did talk to the airport administration at TIA on your behalf. Thank you. And I said, you need it open and they said they're working on it. It won't be today, maybe tomorrow, and we should have an answer before noon. Good. Tell them Gallagher's on his way. "Roger, that's peculiar that the league county sheriff would make that statement today and it sounds like governor desantis was a little bit more cautious about the assertion that hundreds of people have been killed. Yeah, it was interesting. He also made that comment to the hillsborough county sheriff in a phone call last night on a satellite phone while he was standing on top of the roof of a bearcat vehicle trying to do some rescuing. It looks pretty bad down there and he has no reason to inflate things. I think we are going to have some pretty gruesome discoveries there. And hopefully he is wrong. But I don't think he is inflating a carbon arsinoe is a pretty level headed guy. That seems like a vision. That seems like, but governor desantis seems to suggest that might have been based on the 9-1-1 calls, but nonetheless. That's hundreds of people. There's a big difference between one to two confirmed fatalities as of this moment and hundreds. Well, we're going to find out soon. They are going in as we speak to check on these people through the water and we'll know more probably in the next few hours.

Reports that maybe there were hundreds of fatalities in Lake county of any clarification on health. So none of that is confirmed, I think what that is is there were 9-1-1 calls for people saying, hey, the water is rising in my home. I'm going to go up in the attic, but I'm really worried. Of course, those folks are now going to be going to be checked on. And so I think you'll have more clarity about that in the next day or so as they're able to go to those locations and determine whether people need services or are able to be rescued. Now, I don't want to be critical of law enforcement. I'm just hoping, well, I'm hoping the league county sheriff misspoke when he told Good Morning America today that hundreds of fatalities happened in Lee county, but I also have got to say, what a pretty. "I love that confidence show bro has, but he does walk that fine line between cocky and confident. And you gotta be careful with that. And it works well right now. We use this confidence. I love the outlets. I love the chains. I love the cigars. I love I love everything about Joe bar. I really do. He's probably now that Tom Brady looks like he's gonna retire. I'm like, who's my new favorite quarterback in the NFL? Joe stinkin burrow. He's awesome. And I worry though that in a few years, we saw Tom Brady talk about this and made an arena that there was a moment after his third Super Bowl where he had to kind of readjust his mindset and really, you know, take care of who he was and try to drown out the noise and focus on football and family and try to and Tom Brady's talk about how his family really kept him grounded. I don't know what's going to be the grounding factor for Joe burrow, but I know that it's tempting and easy to go all the attention. The man, it's awesome and I just I'm really hoping Joe burrow and like 5 years from now hasn't taken that road and is still the guy who's celebrating those teammates and not blaming anybody in the rallying leader that he needs to be. I have confidence that he will be. I'm not worried about Joe burrow necessarily. But I just we're seeing the early signs of a guy who could turn the way of Aaron Rodgers, can go from confident to arrogant and we'll see where he's at in 5 years from now. I just don't think that he will be having this problem, but I want people to be aware of that now because we'll see where Joe's ad in 5 years, he went to Super Bowl beats the rams in year two. I mean, dude, how more on top of the world could you be? And I just know that he's not that young, but it's still that's a big moment for a young guy and I really hope that he keeps his ego in check as the years go on. Because he's going to succeed and succeed and succeed. And he's so impressive. And so I just am putting that tendril out there now. Now one thing I want to praise Joe berlo on. Is that I have never seen a guy handle a messy pocket better than Jill burrow. People talk about Tom Brady and Tom Brady was a legend for years of sliding in the pocket being very calm. But Tom Brady would slide from maybe a free rusher, step up and then be in a good pocket again. Joe burrow hasn't really been in a clean pocket during the entire playoff run for Cincinnati. He's at bodies around him. He's been dodging defenders and throwing the ball as he's getting header as a guy takes out his ankles or whatever. I mean, there's bodies around his feet constantly. And it's been no problem to jump over. Again, I've never seen a guy who handles a messy pocket as well as Joe burrow has. And there's a play where he escaped the sack not once but twice from Chris Jones where he died the sack, then Chris Jones stole for his legs. He kind of hurdles and gets away from that. It's unbelievable what he's doing. It's almost like Joe burrow has slowed down time and is like, where's he going? It's like the movie click with Adam Sandler. It's unbelievable. And on top of being great.

"I'm from europe and from prague and places like that and Before kobe was set to go out last summer all of august and take my whole family camps. All around germany planned for code last week. I got a request to do a podcast guys from ireland. And so i agreed to do it. And i went on there and i could not believe how much they knew about my life and football in the states and the questions they were asking it was incredible and they told me that football in ireland. Shoot up kitchen. Obviously these guys doing this podcast. They must have a big following and they knew so much blew me away. That's exploded over there. So so that's why. I want somebody digital and then since then it's just grown that crazy so it's become a really cool thing because a lot of the stuff that young order backs it slips through the cracks either. The coach doesn't know it. The middle school coach doesn't know that time to talk about it so i've got content there. It's like well. Here's who's actually walking. Who right i mean you know. Coach has got to install it and then you go all of a sudden play game boom but we didn't get to slow it down and really learn it so i just. I continually populate content in there just to help. This is the most complex position in all of sports. Right i mean. This isn't just something that you know. Just pick up a bat and swing it right And so the the importance of young players. Like if you're not developing with somebody at a young age it's kinda too late. This position is getting very refined. And there's a lot of good coaches out there so Suggests that for him and it's been a great resource in this season. I've got a bunch of stuff. Also have guests come on right so some balls out on saturday in college. Come on sunday and talk about it with the members. That's kind of cool suit. So if we had a guest now who might be the week one. Guess you gotta guess who's gonna ball out on opening day georgia's got clemson so i think jd. But i i'm i'm really excited man. Throw a name. I'm really excited for kate mcnamara in michigan. So i know you're in a lump Just so you know jim. Harbaugh has quarterback cade mcnamara within six grade. He's a real guy. Is she. And forgive me for not even knowing this and i should and i will but i'm not there yet. Is kate macnamara. Projected to store for michigan opening day. He's been announced as the starter. Yes shows you how much. I know about michigan football right right. Like a minimum of one point committed to notre dame de committed and went to michigan. So you're gonna like more okay. And and what. She like is a quarterback. Give me an idea of what. I'm going to see when i watch eight mcnamara play. I'm not setting expectations. But i i the only person i can compare him to in terms of how he approaches the game. Tom brady this kid since seventh grade. Takes everything serious. And there's been a pattern if there's teammates of his. Who aren't that tough or who don't really want to do that. Don't really wanna work that hard. Those players don't like i. We'll be paying attention to k- mcnamara we'll be paying attached to qb summit digital would be paying attention to sam darnold joe bar and all the quarterbacks you've trained tutor during the all season join. "On YouTube called the Q B school, where he breaks down quarterback play in the NFL and also college football. If you want to know about the exes, and Oh's of that position through the eyes of a former NFL quarterback, you will absolutely love. Q B school on YouTube. In fact, I would recommend going to it and checking out his most recent video about Joe Borough. This was several weeks ago, but it was called super Burrow lap and I talked to J. T. O'Sullivan about quarterback play recently, beginning with his evaluation of Joe Burrows rookie year. Coming back from the injury will be its own story. But how he was playing is really I think how everybody hoped he would play. You look like a number one pick, he moved around. He energized that franchise. He was able to put them in positions to win games and make throws from the pocket like that magical season that everybody saw when you kind of came out of nowhere for most people who don't follow, you know, college football recruiting. Theo have that kind of performance in one year. I think everybody was a little nervous about being able to replicate it on Sundays. I think he showed a decent body of work that he can and will be able to it. So I think you know it's exciting on so many different levels for the Bangles community. Let me ask you about Brandon Allen guy who It's in a situation where he's the covert quarterback. I mean he's quarantine. He's not even allowed in meaning. She's not allowed anywhere near any player all through training camp and everything else that goes along with it, And he just You know, keep preparing put himself in a position where you can take advantage of an opportunity if opportunity knocks toe swing that door wide open and the game against Houston, 29 for 37. 371 yards over 10 yards over first down per attempt. 126.5 quarterback rating. Two touchdown passes. He was anticipatory. He was accurate. How well did he play? Did you see any tape on that game? I haven't watched the all 22 of that game. But I've seen enough of the highlights to mean just marvelous what it takes to Make that kind of performance happened. I don't care who it again. You know, I think that's always kind of be easy. Knock at this point in the season sale. It's against the franchise that, you know. Downward spiral right now or doesn't have an identity on the other side of the ball, but Go out there and play that way and make those throws in this type of situation with this type of circumstance in this type of year. You know, it's just a testament to him in really a testament to the staff, you know to have been prepared and the organization to rally around him and give them an opportunity to go out there and be successful, but it's so much fun. The former quarterback to watch guys thrive when they get opportunities. So in that regard, it's just a lot of fun. We're talking to former Bengals quarterback J. T. O'Sullivan. You need to check out his channel on YouTube. The QB school If you haven't already want to get back to a Joe bro thing for a second JT, and that is the deep ball. That was the one thing at least statistically. It wasn't great Nine for 48 on passes thrown 20 or more yards down the field. Why do you think that was off? Because he was highly successful in that category? It ls you Well, I mean, probably again and its probably multiple things to a certain extent. I think that that l s u team Was just such an outlier in so many different regards, And so you know, I think anybody is going to come back down to Earth. No. Unless you're Patrick, my home's air Aaron Rodgers. When it comes to that, you know, I think a decent example is looking at Russell Wilson No early in the year, you know, he was essentially the runaway N v P candidate. You know, the everybody's Let him rest cook and, you know, now it's just appetizers and desserts to certain where the deep ball Him. You know Russell's I think it was like an elite deep ball thrower. But even then you could go weeks in which turns into a month in the league. Where where you might struggle a little bit, And so I think they're just going to come right in and be a perfect seamless transition with the deep ball. Might be a little unrealistic. I also think that there were some weird, unique tension with him and the deep, all threats and that organization first certain extent, at least it felt that way watching the film. I don't know anything about the locker room or what was going on dynamic wise with the perimeter there. Just felt like guys. Whether it was unfamiliarity or you know where the ball was being spread around that it just didn't didn't feel like everyone was on the same page, and that then can kind of manifest itself and some tougher completions down the field. Bangle nation was excited when Joe put out the video of Christmas video of him walking without any crutch. Any pain, any kind of support system? He's walking pretty well. In today's medicine, A C L injuries, you know it's It's never, you know, just brush it off. But guys come back pretty regularly from from a C L injury depending on how much collateral damage there was. Ah, good example is the guy that Bangles just played to Shawn Watson. I mean, he's still Superman. I mean, he's a freakazoid. He came back from the CIA, and there's other quarterbacks that have. What's your opinion? I mean, you think Joe Bar will be everything he was prior to a C L reconstruction. No, I think you touched on a lot of the key kind of parameters there. As far as just the improvements in medicine, you know, I can remember back when those things were tentatively like career and the up to at least you know. Year plus recoveries and then even when you come back, you almost need another year. It certainly seems like guys come back faster and faster from those things. I think it's a combination of the medicine and kind of the rehab, improving and just help. Players. Professionals take care of themselves all those things compound to accelerate the recovery process. But I would be you know this time next year. I would be surprised if he doesn't look You know the same, if not better, more stable and what he's doing, because he's probably going to take better care of his entire body in that regard, So you know it's hard to speculate in that realm. But, you know, I don't think that there's any reason to think that it wouldn't be that. At the case of one is there some night, not catastrophic infection or anything like that. That was like he's already passed that face. We're visiting the J. T. O'Sullivan in that super burrow video that I referenced on the YouTube channel. Was difficult to tell a few times what the play was designed to do. You had wide receivers basically running to the same spot stuff like that happening in a few plays when you see that What's the likely causes that bad design? Is that a receiver running to the wrong spot? What does your quarterback experience tell you when you see that? I mean, it tells me a few things that tells me that you know, At some point, there's a communication breakdown and what I mean by that is either what's being coached. Is it resonating? War was being coached isn't making sense. And then, finally, probably the biggest one is that there is no level of mastery on that field yet and so, you know, when a quarterback really masters and offense, they have kind of You know, Conductor like control and they can move people around. You know, there are we think of like Peyton Manning back in the day like moving people around seems fanatic, but everybody is in the right place all the time, and that was a different type of offense. Just the idea of mastery from that perimeter and with that coaching staff, and they just haven't spent a whole lot of time together, so as they grow together and have a better understanding of what they can do what they're being asked to do and growing as a unit, you know, it's it's hard to go out there and that's the thing about football. You know that I was It's one of those things that makes the green great but also kind of tough to understand, because you can watch an NBA game and someone goes off for 40 points..

You want Tony Blankley running everything? No, I blinking only course Coley blinking. This is he's one of these guys who's so busy profiteering and maneuvering around. That he only knows the swamp people publicly. He keeps under the radar anyway, looking at him on John Kerry. He'll do a hell of a job that John Kerry In fact, some of the accomplishments of John Kerry, I can't seem to remember he could you recite some of them? You know now that you could ask Mrs Carey, she couldn't do it. No, they could think of anything this guy's ever accomplished. So we got lots to get to get to President Trump a little later on if he were To leave office. What would he do? Where would he go? We'll get all of that coming up. And you have that audience. Governor Cuomo talking about why his mother can come to Thanksgiving dinner. I don't have it, but, yeah, you wanna hear? Wait. Let me just explain. The governor was yelling. It is a typical government. You know, Like Carrie tells you you have to take the bus to fight climate change. Meantime, he's got a private chat, eh? Yeah. 6000 cars. It's the same thing with corn. Well, you can't have Thanksgiving dinner. On what happened. It came out that his mother was coming up to the mansion and his daughter. But this is this is what he said before he back you put That rate of increase together with an additional increase from the high level of social activity. That is a dangerous situation. Okay, actually the other one with that, But it's a different sound like sometimes we talked, just like you know, you have to have you here and then other times like that Cut you played. You put it in, his voice goes high. That's when you gotta worry that something gaskets gonna blow or something. So here's know what the funniest part of that was that the spokesman said he hadn't told his mother she was disinvited. Yeah, Now it's in the problem was you're not supposed to get together. Thanks for meeting his mother's daughter. Everybody's supposed to be coming to Albany. Well, how come we can't do it? But he can typical politician hypocrisy. And then what happened? So then he this they put out a statement saying, No, He's got a lot of work to do. They're not going to come. But don't tell his mom she doesn't know yet. Yeah, but there was a clip of him talking about his daughter. Not coming. It's inside the report. I can't get it without a hole that I play the whole thing if you want, but no, no, we'll hear it later. But in the clip He said. They disinvited buddy and his his daughter. His daughter's not coming for Thanksgiving. And in the clip, he says, You know why he goes into the high voice and that was out of love. Whoa! That's where she's not coming. The real reason she's not coming is she's thinking it's a, uh, who needs this thing? You know, It's probably a pain in the neck for to go sit through this Thanksgiving dinner, Isn't she, the woman to state Trooper? I think I don't know if it's if it's the same one. She doesn't want to be at the same table with him anyway. I don't think yeah, see, that's what he doesn't get. You know, most of You think you know your kids? I can't wait to come home for Thanksgiving from college. If you said you can't come, But believe me, they'd find something. They'd be pretty happy they they'd find something much more fun to do so we'll get to Thanksgiving coming up. You're not supposed to travel for Thanksgiving. Meantime, there's a line 10 Miles long and every airport, but you're not supposed to travel anywhere. Hey, check out the Web page. This is pretty amazing. I don't know who the hell this woman is. You've heard about this but watch the video. This is the woman harassing Governor Murphy in a restaurant in New Jersey. Ah! I first this woman should actually be arrested. When you hear the clip on the air. They have to bleep everything. Here it is on BLEEP. Listen to our language. You can't come up to somebody's tables, yelling stuff like that. It's somebody and you can't even yell like that, in the middle of a restaurant, cursing and screaming. It's a crime. I don't know why they didn't arrest this woman. It is great to yell to govern, but he's actually not wrong here. He's doing what the Cuomo should be doing. Go out to restaurants support them, Uh, you know, fight to keep his rest of watch this clip. You won't believe that nervous. This woman yelling at the Murphy. Hey, also, I don't. "O R. Well, we'll take some calls. Hey, Joe Bar that the local races looks like the Republicans will hold the Senate and hold the house of Democrats will hold us, but they'll pick up a CD to that's good. What happened with the state Senate and this assembly and all that. That's a very important cause This It's all Democratic now, which is where you get these crazy laws about release all the prisoners did we make progress? There were a couple of Republicans, including Rob Astorino, who are leading at the moment. They still have to go through the counting of the the mail in ballots, so there's still a significant number of ballots have to be counted. Ah, number of the Republicans are leading right now, so that would be a change. The bad news is some of the assembly canned, especially in Manhattan. The people voted Democratic on that you'd think after a rioting, looting protesting. They would've voted these Democrats out and they're released the prisoner's bail reform stuff, But they didn't say we were pushing that woman who was running against the Nadler. Andi look like it help. She got 30 something percent of the vote, which is unusual against Nadler s O. She did better than most on DH. Remember kept saying New York might be in play for Donald Trump. He did very well in New York state. Surprisingly well, I think it's gonna end up with 44% of the vote in New York. That's pretty good. Considering it's Yeah, that's a big big showing in New York, so it wasn't enough to win. But Biden did not have a big victory in New York just a victory. What else? The coal Malia talks. That's what What is the problem there? It's not on a photo in there still waiting to count again. They have to do the mail in votes, so ah, nobody's going to concede, but she has a pretty significant lead. Yeah, the only problem, you know, normally, I hate to tell you this but and told this by everybody that knows normally they don't count. The absentee ballots on Ly have to. They don't normally actually do it. So it's a questionable process. And the most important thing is that poll watchers and lawyers and everybody can sit there and watch the count. You're trusting these Democratic governors. Tio oversee the counting. I don't know if I'd be comfortable that anyway. Let's take some calls. Let's go to David and Queens. Hey, David, how you doing? Hey, Mark. Good morning, Mark, no matter what happens later today or next week, whenever it happens, it can never take away from that Great day in 2016. When the witch of Chappaqua with family defeated, you know, the one who knows about 150 people had committed suicide. And she and her purple storage for GE outfit were put into the dustbin of history. Yeah, that's a good point. I thanks. Yeah. What is with this Democratic parties like a Halloween party? Last time? The nominated a witch. This time, a ghost. What the hell is going on with these chemicals like a hospital Ward, a political party? Let's goto Donna Long Branch, a donna. Hi, Mark. Good morning. My driving some night. Yeah, I am Sorry, baby. It's time to have separate countries. Red states versus blow because we all know that Red State will survive and who stays not? Yeah, alright. That's a good point. Thanks for calling. I think we're the way we try that. Let's divide the country and a half. Let Democrats run half the country. Republicans will run the other half, Let's say in five years, who's doing better? Economically? Crime wise? All that stuff a bit interesting experiment. Let's go to Vincent in Brooklyn. Vincent, What do you think? Good morning mock mock the only of reason why Donald Trump didn't win the state of New York. I believe Eyes because of Manhattan and because of all the liberals living in Manhattan, But he probably did very well in OB stayed in the outer boroughs marked the reason why I called it as usual. The government's got new judge is gonna blow if they legalized marijuana. With all these taxes and everything. They're levee in on it, and probably what The sale price is gonna be in these pot shops and everything. People are going to still get it in the street. Because then if they get busted, dead have been. They're not going to get busted because it's legal. But the people who control that on the streets are gonna make out like a fat rat way. Vincent, explain this to me because there are no a certain organization might be profiting from marijuana sales. If the government's gonna take over. How does that organization keep their their business going? I just do it cheaper. Wow. Yeah, I mean, because look at all these states that have already legalized and you have to jump through hoops just together. You have to get a phoney doctor's certificate in the pot shot. They have a doctor. There is all you need by medical marijuana. And the prices in all these places. Ah, that what they sell it for. It's not cheap, but all these taxes and everything. So, uh, people will use of button everything just going to get it on the street. I mean, look what? Look What happened with lt be They say the New York City state legalized gambling then they put I forgot with with the woman's name was I think it was boot name was.

"On 7 10 W. O R K We'll take some calls. 803 2107 10 is the number 803 2107 10. Let's go to Ah, Jerry in Philadelphia. Jerry, How you doing? Philadelphia got hit hard by that storm, right? It was pretty bad. Well, I grew up in South Jersey is sure that you know worked. Thanks for taking my call. I got a hypothetical for you. I think you'll like what Congress passed a change to the Constitution had Election week leading up to the election day because the repercussions from this storm imagine the storm Election Day was two days ago with storm or an earthquake in California election that well, what happened? Well, you postpone it that happened. 9 11 was an election. There was primary day They postpone it for a few weeks. Just rescheduled. It was primary than the national God, it's the same thing. It's setting up the same machines. The same polling places all that stuff. If in that case you could postpone the election, Congress would have to agree to it for the presidential election. But thanks for calling a lot of people wondering about this mail in the ballot stuff it is Obviously filled with fraud. I know you'll see every newscast you say, the president said without evidence that there's a problem with mail in voting. There's endless evidence of one time the government did a massive study on the safety of mail in voting huge commission. Led by Jimmy Carter concluded that it was the most dangerous, fraudulent way to do voting. Former and longtime DNC chairwoman Debbie Wasserman Schultz back then said mail in voting is extremely dangerous. We just tried it where he had mail in votes for Queens for the congressional race, Carolyn Maloney that 60,000 votes and it took six weeks. And they had Tio Joe Bar that they had to reject what, like 25% of the votes. Well, that was for the whole city. In the primary, 26% of the mail in ballots were invalidated. Invalidate it was something wrong with him. Something smelled fishy. About 26% of them emanate throughout 26% of the votes. Now, this took six weeks for this little congressional race in NewYork City Convention of presidential Race It could be literally a year. The count the votes a year. If this is 60,000. Imagine 120 million That could take a year to see. The problem is, you know there's has to be. You have to sign it in the proper spot. You have to put it back in his spot. I mean and One of the things they found in New York City. Is that the directions even the directions for me for the mail in voting were confusing. Yes. Oh, It doesn't work. It's the most dangerous fraudulent. Wait to have voting on Also, what happens the day after the election. You don't have an answer. Let's say, Take six months to get the answer. What do you do? You let the president stay for the extra six months that they have an answer or on January 20th when the end of his term takes place. Do you declare that they're no longer legally in office? And then if you have to have Pence and Trump leave, Nancy Pelosi would then become the president. She's next in line. So what? They try to pull that on January. That's right. That's a good plan. Yes, Some people think that's the scheme that will take two years to count the votes, but Trump will be forced to leave on the 20th. You know I can't do this. It will. Their hands have been asking me. How do I find out where I fit in the industry? This this question gets asked a lot, but I think it's especially timely now. Here's Pacific version of this question from Bart in Minnesota. Brian Big Fan of the podcast. Thanks for your continued help and guidance. I Mean College Sophomore, and I love sports, but I have no idea what to do for my career path. Can you help me understand the future of sports, world and where I may fit in it? Joe Bar that is a heavy responsibility I mean understand the future of the sports world in where you fit in it is. This is a tough question First off. You don't meet many. Bart's nowadays. I had a good friend in highschool named apart but I. Don't think I know too many others, so congratulations there Bart. Bart Scott. I don't actually know him, but the only other bargain think of right now. Are there other famous? Bart Star other famous Bart's. I don't know. Anyway back on topic. It's been an interesting morning. I did a live session on linked in this morning I've had lots of coffee. I've had a couple of meetings and I'm talking really fast so I apologize but. I'm jacked up on Caffeine Okay finding the your fit in the industry is an important topic I started a few months back, trying to make one of those cool diagrams. You've seen him before. You know it's not an info graphic. More of a choose your own adventure type thing based on sports careers like you know. Do you like to talk to people? Yes, or no follow that path for yes, and then a different question from there, and they get you work your way through it by answering. Yes, no type questions, and then you get the end toes. You like what you should Kinda do or what you should explore what area you should look at. Started building it out, and it got way too hard, so I may resurface that idea later, but really when you start to break down all the possibilities, it's like an ice cream headache waiting to happen I, mean it's just like. Oh, my gosh, there's so many options. But this is the advice I believe in wholeheartedly. Mart. This is a personal decision. That is ultimately up to you, but I will I will help guide some some concepts. Ultimately. It's your choice. All Right? Let's start with this concept search for the word associate. On our site working sports dot com. So everybody goes into a job like ours and they'd think. I want to search for the specific term of something I think I wanNA do like marketing four sales, or you know broadcaster, content, or TV, or whatever it may be telling you is search for a word that is more. Connected to an entry level job across all fields. This will return a myriad of potential opportunities that are entry, level, or close to it, so search for the word associate I just did. The search came back with one thousand, eight, hundred fifty two sports jobs on our site out of nearly twelve thousand to choose from. So here's how this works as I look through the openings on our first page I see associate product manager associate artists advertising. Associate production associate. HR associate, pro tennis operations associate social media associate okay. Are you seeing that theme here? Those are a lot of different types of jobs that are a little bit more entry level, so you can read those job. Descriptions start to understand what stands out from you. There's a various there. Okay? So when I was coming up, I knew that I wanted to work in sports TV. So I lean that direction in my job search I can look for content jobs in television. I can look at specific employers. See what they're offering. But if you don't know, you need to start a little bit broader to. To understand the options that are out there. I can't tell you should go work in sales that has huge meaning, and has a certain personality associated with that. You have that personality I. Don't Know Right. I can't tell you that specifically, but I can tell you how to find the options, so look through a social media associate job and see if you like that job description. If that sounds interesting to you, okay, look at pro tennis operations associate. You're going to see an entirely different job in an entirely different set of responsibilities and objectives, and if you look through that, you might say oh man. That sounds cool now. I can expand that direction. You might see hr or advertising or artistry or Product Management. These are just a few of the options that come back to one thousand, eight, hundred, fifty two in there. But once you start to identify something that sounds interesting DNA entry level role than you can start to expand in that niche. That's where the power comes in. Okay. Now Start to picture yourself in these roles envision what they're saying and picture it. Because sports is a little different than other businesses, most other businesses are all revolving around in office, or you know zoom in our world, but in sports they might be. Some jobs might be focused on the live event. You might have to be at the arena late at night and on weekends or amongst huge crowd think about that. Does that fit your personality? If you're working at events or if you're working operations that might be exactly what you want that that intensity that urgency that crushing amount of fans and noise, and now might be awesome for you. Or you might not be that person. You might be the person that wants to crunch numbers and be in the corner and be separate from everybody right? Find where your personality fettes make sure you project and visualize what these roles may actually look like. One thing I learned as a manager time for story tangent. One thing I learned as a manager early on. Is that everyone who works for you is very different, and you have to lean into their skills and their preferences. I had some staff that wanted to be. The corner left alone to think in work. They didn't need toys and chaos. They needed to focus right I had others that needed to be in the center of it all to really thrive and feed off the energy of the newsroom. Figuring out where you fit your personality at like. If you're more reserved in love math, we'll look data driven roles again I'm not trying to pigeonhole people and careers, just trying to give some thought to it all right, so introducing yourself to the opportunities that are out there by doing a search for a term associated with entry level jobs in sports like associate guy. And then reading them and applying them to your personality. Classes, do you like the most in college you know don't just say sports classes like d like math classes like writing classes. Do you like history classes like figuring out where those skills crossover! K.. If. You don't find the jobs you like doing the associate search. Try others use the word coordinator or assistant play around finding entry level roles, and see what you naturally get excited by. I knew that I was excited by the sports media and the jury and the TV side..

"Podcast network and today is going to be a very interesting episode as we will be doing a full dive on the College Football National Championship game. That is happening tomorrow night. Right at eight o'clock eastern time. Probably about eight fifteen to be exact. So here's how I'm going to do it. I'm GonNa talk about LSU issue in this segment and the next time we're gonNA talk about Clemson and third segments going to be the prediction the match up the matchup Segment where we'll talk about. How both teams matchup against each other and give my prediction about how the game's GonNa go Then later we're GONNA stick with football like I said Thursday was pretty much the third football heavy week so after that we'll talk about Mike Leach then after that I'll give some quick thoughts it's about the NFL playoffs as I'll give a full deep dive on that on Tuesday however The Saturday Games did it did happen last night. So we'll talk about them real quick. So like I said is going to be a very football heavy week episode. Tuesday's also GONNA be football heavy as I recap the. Nfl Playoffs and the College Football National Championship. So let's just jump right in we're GONNA talk about the Lsu Tigers if you don't know their fourteen no one the SOC- The one that I see west. Let's just go through the schedule. quickey got they play Georgia southern I won fifty three played number nine Texas at the time. One forty five thirty eight in the closest game with Joe Borough getting four hundred seventy one yards Edwards layer getting eighty seven and then Jefferson getting one hundred sixty three receiving yards. Then they went to play North Weser state one six five fourteen vanderbilt. Six thirty eight Utah State. They won forty two six Florida. They won forty two twenty. Ain't against that a pretty good Florida defense those DVD's or no joke Joe Jonesboro only had two hundred thousand nine three yards in that game which is his second lowest but his lowest was against southern which? I'm assuming he sat out for most the game. Then you have. Mississippi state which thirty six thirteen Had A close gaming. It's Auburn Auburn. Was the best best at stopping this. LSU offense as twenty three twenty game auburn with the fantastic defensive line which probably helped out there. Then they played Alabama right after that. which by the way that Sucks Auburn and then right after that play Alabama beat Alabama forty six forty one one that was the game where To had ankle surgery early like about two weeks earlier so everybody was wondering if to what was going to be fine. find to play so I mean they played with Very injured to a still so lost. Forty six six forty one job with three hundred ninety three yards to march as one hundred forty yards receiving Edward layer with over one hundred yards rushing and that one then you have the Ole miss game which was a difficult game for their defense It was fifty eight thirty seven Jober with four hundred eighty nine yards passing Edwards layer with one hundred. Seventy two Dhamar Chase as with two hundred twenty seven receiving yards which is bonkers but this game kinda showed their defense kind of showed a weakness in the run game as Ole miss ran ran the ball over them much closer game than the final score indicates then they went on to play stifling Arkansas team which I think fired Chad Morris by then so it's fifty six twenty than playtex one fifty to seventy I mean fifty fifty seven then they went on into the the SEC championship game against Georgia and this was a highly touted matchup Thought going into it. I knew Georgia wasn't going to score points but I knew that they they had one. The best defense is in the country and they got stopped thirty seven to ten Joe Bar with three hundred forty nine yards when Edwards layer with fifty seven Jefferson with one hundred fifteen receiving yards. Then of course you have the game against Oklahoma which sixty three twenty eight with almost five hundred passing four hundred ninety three then. He had curry with ninety rushing yards. And then you had Jefferson with two hundred twenty seven Jefferson had like four touchdowns or something like that in that game. It was it was crazy. those are scheduled going into this. Their fourteen no like I said the big players. Of course you have heisman trophy winner paid May and not paying many of the Jani Unites Winner. The one every single trophy there is to win. Joe Borough He's coming into this game with five thousand two hundred eight passing yards on the season. Then you have the less talked about Edwards a layer. He's coming in with thirteen hundred rushing yards and then receiving yards. It's a battle between Justin Jefferson and Jomar chase as Jomar as edges out. Just Jefferson at the moment with one thousand five hundred fifty nine receiving yards on less receptions exceptions by the way and then just in Jefferson has thousand four hundred thirty four receiving yards so those are the big name players on their offense on their defense. They dare extemely junior. The six interceptions you guys Jacob Phillips at Linebacker with one hundred five tackles and so LSU their team statistics so they get forty point nine points per game which is like I said insane. They they get about three hundred ninety seven yards per game in passing They've only thrown a total of seven interceptions throughout the whole year rushing. They get one hundred sixty six yards boards per game in rushing. They get about they get over five hundred yards per game so I mean we all know this. Offense is the wave of the future This offense is insane so the are the athletic mcadoo. Great article that they asked other coaches about what they have to say about. LSU and I kind of Skim through it real quick Obviously you have the obvious things like the QB's lead. He has the skill. Joe Borough makes makes a whole team go very confident reminds people of two thousand twelve thirty A. and M. Clarifies that borough is a thousand percent better word than Johnny Manziel but He creates momentum with its confidence He knows what he's doing. No Oh where he wants to go with the ball and does everything confidently his ability to make plays with his feet when you do cover him or when things break down is the added element that is really challenging. When and you're trying to set up a plan to stop him so obviously joe burrow he makes fantastic plays with arm however he is very good at extending plays plays? And here's one thing that Georgia and Oklahoma tried to do. They tried to do mostly three man rushes so they can have as many guys to cover the receivers as possible but they didn't work because they couldn't get to the quarterback those the three main Russia's just weren't working at all and when they did joe borough just kind of scrambled out rolled rolled out and found space. Found another guy down the field so he makes plays as much with his feet as with his arm. Most of these coaches say that the kids talk with Supreme Confidence. One coach said head. You're not gonNA stop them. You just gotTa hope slow down. GotTa hope for three three now. Got Hope for field goals not touchdowns. Then you've got Edwards Layer. Who's he runs the inside zone the lineup and the field boundary number one and and he could free release out the back field? He's versatile running back Does a great job at what they need him to do. He'll run you over. He'll make the first guy miss a lot. And he runs corner routes for touchdown. So I mean he's always Edwards layers. Always there you're Jamaican chase seems to make every competitive catch see it on film Scheme allowed for a lot of free releases and they're receiving core is amazing. It's a very deep group. They got A. They got a lot of a lot of great players in that receiving core so yeah let their defense what people say about their defense. They don't have any bi on their D. Line. That scares you but there are still great at using their hand and have an assortment of pass rush moves Kayla von Chait Charlton. Jeez that's a name is one guy guy where you're most concerned with really twitchy and combined. His second and third effort is so good get blocked but then puts his foot in the ground retraces and makes a play that has no business making aching. He leads the team with thirteen and a half tackles for loss and six and a half sacks by the way he's a game changer type of guy I if you allow them to be real dude off the edge the edge guy so I mean watch out for a lays on that name so watch out for him in the game. Shelving game record at Florida huge space heater. Good job of Holden and gaps. You can't run right at them and they're so fast the defense that they can run it down wide so I definitely do say that L. weakness is definitely more defense oriented but but their defense still can hold up with the best of them. So we're going to take a quick break when we get back. I will do pretty much the same thing except with Clemson Simpson so stay tuned. Hey I'm andy if you don't know me it's probably because because I'm not famous but I did start grooming company called Harry's the.
