One of those guys probably going to be the final roster spot where the wide receivers that just doesn't inspire a ton of confidence from me. The only guy that i feel good about his tyreek hill and then everybody else is a massive question mark in when i read earlier. This week from nate taylor of the athletes and i quote from the voluntary wait workouts in the teams mandatory minicamp mccoll hardman appears to be in position to have a breakout season as he is expected to have the role previously held by sammy watkins. That's terrifying for me. I i don't think he's a guy that profiles to play in that role sammy. Watkins was a prototypical x. Wide receiver where he can line up. On the line of scrimmage and beat man press coverage that is the opposite of what mccall hardman profiles as in fact the only guy on the team. Maybe you got two of them. That can do that. I think is cornell powell and byron pringle and i don't think those guys are starting level wide receivers at least not right now so i. I don't think they have that guy on the roster today. Listen i. I think as upset before that is something that is being overblown using the words terrified a mike that that feels a pitch strong. That feels a bit strong to use. Sorta josh gordon. "Fauci is going to be talked about all day all over the news. If you rather more international news, then let's take a look at Israel. There's trouble, Brewin. Oh, yeah, I've heard about this. Apparently, there's been a little I don't know how many of you guys know this. But I guess for the last 3000 years, there's been a lot of controversy in that part of the shocking controversy would rear its ugly head now. So what's going on over in the, uh, the most fun country in the Mideast, the opposition to Benjamin Netanyahu has declared A new government and they have decided to unseat B B as they call him, and it's really kind of up in the air right now as to whether he's going to be out or not, because they don't do things like we do, or I just don't really understand how they run their government over there, but they've got some guys who have Put together a new government. I've got a government and I'd like to be in charge. Now. Is this kind of like Chaz in the autonomous? Yeah, because I'd like to declare in autonomous zone for this radio station, so I don't have to keep paying out the ass on taxes. But shouldn't we include at least a restaurant or two in our zone, which one county and Ziggy's is a couple blocks is close by and they do have a nice variety, and it's a Jewish deli. So it all kind of works out. It all goes together with the theme of this segment. Israeli politics. Is confusing, but they've got a new government established by a new guy over there. But they said it takes about 10 to 12 days for all of this to formulate and to get him sworn in, which leaves Netanyahu the option to turn the lawmakers to his side. And they said, Right now he's still prime minister at least for a few more days. And they're going to have a vote of confidence and see whether he keeps his job or not. And I got to tell you, Uh, when I was in high school, I knew a guy named Neftali did you and he was Hispanic, So it's very confusing me. Right? Wait, wait, and he's in Israel. No, no. Yeah, He's in Israel. All right. Uh, so ultra nationalist. I thought that Netanyahu is already considered to be a nationalist. And so this Naftali guy would serve as prime minister under a rotation between him at another guy. Yeah, Year, LA peed Lapid. I don't know as a former TV host and finance minister, and then he would take over. After a while, so the guy hosted a T V show, and now he's going to help around the country. It's very confusing. I I love doing this show because we get to pick on politicians without a Actually having to take any of the responsibility, right? I always wonder when you hear about guys like Al Franken, for example, you know, or someone will email us and they'll say, Hey, why don't you guys go into politics? I think And there are no thanks. Appreciate it. Yeah, Those politicians are the worst people on earth. If you want to be a politician, I'm immediately skeptical of you. I could count all the good politicians on one hand, and I'd still have my thumb wife to sit on. I mean, that's how you know what I mean. Sure, there's just not that many great politician. There's a few, you know. This sounds a little confusing This new government if it does take power would compromise parties across the political spectrum, including Israel's first representation of their 21% Arab minority, the United Arab list. So, um, the direct opposition to The Jews. Yes would be Sort of in power in Israel, huh? That's not going to end. Well, yeah. You know, it confuses me because in Israel, you're allowed to be an Arab Muslim. But in Palestine, you're not allowed to be a Jew. Different rules. Yeah. And then this all brings back to what's so confusing about America's position on this whole thing. Which America the United the left the other. You have a divided country here. Obviously, the other day we were talking about what was it a porn star had her Nazi wine, and she was Comparing it to Israel, and we thought that's a weird thing to do. It's almost like she didn't realize how stupid or tweet was. And another thought occurred to me after I read that tweet did you know you're not allowed to have wine in Palestine? I wasn't planning on it. And women are supposed to cover up and you're certainly not allowed to be gay or, you know, Um, yeah. What is it with American liberals and their obsession with Sharia governments? If they actually got a Sharia government, they wouldn't like it. They're advocating for something far worse than what we have. Yet They say that what we have is oppressive. And we're oppressing them. So we're oppressive to an oppressive society. Do not get smart or day. No, it's really not that I know you can't say that your for gay rights and and personal choices and then support Palestine doesn't make any sense. You know better news of the day is plenty of pictures of Britney Spears in a very cheeky, revealing bathing suit. There's there's a whole website. It just wants to pretend like they tell you the news, but it's just dotted with Oh, look, there's Joanna Gaines in a swimsuit jumping into a swimming pool in Mexico. She is beautiful, Joanna. And so I look and it's dead. A lot of like my Stepmother's name all of my siblings like someone has been listening and taking notes. Yeah, and I mean there's not reach now. It's actually pretty accurate and and I think you know, whatever I think accuracies someone I think Jeff Garlin said that his brother went in and changed his Wikipedia page to say Jeff Garlin caught the comedy bug and I'm like, that's kind of funny. If someone put on your Wikipedia page something silly like, you know drives a 2013 Toyota Corolla and he likes Eminem's upside down because he doesn't he likes W's so we should but women he's a winner and they're all blue. A lot of nutrition and before i dive into some deep nutrition karen. You have two kids. Laurie of three. What is it like now in your households. Even from a nutrition standpoint from nutritionists. What's it like with five kids plus husbands and everything else. Just tell me about. The household isn't as crazy as the durkin household is absolutely as crazy. I mean i have three boys. Three different schools three different start time schools. Whose virtual who's hybrid where you're going. Who's getting picked up. And then by the time. I'm done digging a breakfast. Someone wants a snack. Someone wants a lunch diner. We all know that their moms who was with me on that right then. It's like who's going to sports is lifting. Who's doing this doing an extra class and it. It's insane it's insane so we're doing the best we can but i understand why people are just losing. It depressed anxiety. It's a hard it's i. i love when. I got a text from my daughter at eleven. Nineteen can you put x. y. z in the toaster forming unlike. Is this really. So you know that it's eleven. Nineteen i got the tax like is it in like it's coming like i feel like we're like short clips i just. I miss the days of making a packed lunch. Wow that's given is when you were like. Oh i can't wait to start making school lunches like i do anything to get back in. School fulltime amen. To that there wouldn't be it's hard. I think melanie would definitely agree with all of you. ‘Fixer Upper’ Reboot With Chip & Joanna Gaines To Launch Their Magnolia Network In 2021
"Fixer upper The reboot is coming back to television. It will air exclusively on the Magnolia Network. Oh, that's their network, right? Yes, is Yeah, the joint venture that they did with the Discovery Channel. What's interesting? Why this is kind of a coup for them is you would have assumed that HD TV. Had some level of ownership of fixer upper, presumably some sort of a deal was struck behind the scenes. So now the Magnolia Network, scheduled to kick off sometime early in 2021 had been scheduled for October 4th, pushed back through the cove. It Will now launch with a brand new season of the show that just catapulted Chip and Joanna Gaines, too, just like unparalleled fame in the world of HD TV reality stars. So it's going that's going to be debut Ng. There also have a couple of the shows that they that they mentioned. But the biggest news people wondered. Would they be more behind the scenes where they go in a different direction with how they choose to be on camera? But now they've had another baby. We've had a little time away from fixer upper and now they are bringing it back. How about that? They say they say the day that we wrapped our final episode of Fixer upper We really believed it was a chapter closed. We knew we needed a break in a moment to catch our breath. But we also knew we weren't done dreaming about ways to make old things new again this from Chip and Joanna In a joint statement, they said these past few years we've continued tackling renovations of projects doing the work that we're passionate about, but I don't think either of us anticipated how the show would become such a permanent fixture.
