"Wearing gray across the sky 65 at fort belvoir 64° in foggy bottom, hello Silver Spring, you are at 64°. Three 41 now on WTO now to the latest from Ukraine, which today is marking 9 months since the Russian invasion began. The U.S. and two of its allies are accusing Russia's defense minister of making false allegations after he claimed in a series of phone calls that Ukraine was planning to use the so called dirty bomb on its own soil. In the meantime, security experts from around the world are trying to figure out what Russian president Vladimir Putin is planning. WTO national security correspondent JJ green caught up with one Eastern Europe one leader in European and Eastern Europe over the weekend. JJ. Yes, Sean, right now, Russians and Russian president Vladimir Putin is really concerned about the high level of U.S. support for Ukraine. I suspect in Putin's calculus. He is actually wondering whether he has to wait out. The Biden administration. Mick Redman is editor in chief and director of analysis at Oxford Analytica. So why is he saying that? It's because of winter. He's aware that winter will be a great test to Europe. It as a result, some in Europe might want to pause the war. Then go say calculate however that even if west Europeans were to ask for a pause, Poland would remain in the fight, others would remain in the fight, crucially the United States would. Redmond and other experts gathered in Riga for the last four days and Latvia seemed to agree the outcome of this war which could still take years might depend on what happens this winter. And what happens in the U.S. elections. Sean and Hillary. Hey, JJ, many Republicans have been soft on Russia by wanting the U.S. to pull support for Ukraine. Does the apparent disinformation from Russia about a Ukrainian dirty bomb threatened to further hurt U.S. efforts to fund this war? Well, the fact that most of us know that this Russian allegation that Ukraine is going to use a dirty bomb on its own territory is absolute disinformation and even nonsensical. I'm pretty sure that U.S. officials that are getting classified briefings about this know that as well and that includes U.S. legislators. They know that this is and will probably be used as a political tool. Russia is going to try to do that anyway. They can. But it's not clear that that would be an advantage to them. What does bear worrying about though is what happens between now and the midterm elections. Russia is watching very closely very carefully. The U.S. political scene and they're trying to find anything at all any way they can to chip away at the U.S. resolve to help Ukraine. So yeah, I mean, they're going to be some that are going to think about this this dirty bum business. But it probably won't be useful as a political tool. JJ, thanks. You're welcome. "Ronan, Alicia abelson is our producer, the top stories that we're following tonight, Russia has retaliated in a deadly way for what it claims was a Ukrainian terrorist attack on a critical bridge. The Russians unleashed their biggest and most widespread attacks against Ukraine in months. The lethal barrage came during the morning rush hour, it smashed civilian targets, knocking out power and water and shattering several buildings. At least 11 people are reported dead dozens more are injured. WTO national security correspondent tells us that all of the Russian fire and fury is only serving to make the Ukrainian people dig in further. They have cohorts. Cowards is how you have hanging your crab chuck. A member of Ukraine's parliament describes Russia's military. They're not fighting with military on the matter field because we'll keep their ass on the battlefield. So they sent missiles. Half of those missiles were shot down and crab chuck says, if they get the right kind of help, they could do better than that. The very modern air defense system. This number of shutdown missiles could go up to, I don't know, 80%, 90%. And that's exactly what it might take because now there's talk that this bombing campaign or this missile strike campaign today may become a pattern in the days to come. That's our WTO national security correspondent JJ green. President Biden had a call with the Ukrainian counterpart today after the morning missile attacks. The White House is President Biden and volodymyr zelensky spoke by phone before mister Biden left Delaware to return to Washington. Zelensky said in a tweet that the two discussed air defense and that he urged U.S. and G 7 support for a UN resolution condemning Russia's purported annexation of eastern Ukraine. Russia can't veto measures in the UN General Assembly, the way it can in the Security Council, that vote is expected later this week. That CBS White House correspondent Stephen portnoy, a former D.C. police officer who spoke with the top White House who spoke with the top House Republican leader Kevin McCarthy about the January 6th attack after that attack on Capitol Hill is revealing new information about a secretly recorded phone call WTO's Mitchell Miller on Capitol Hill. Michael fanone recorded a phone call with McCarthy months after the attack in which he pressed the House minority leader about former president Trump's inaction during the rioting. McCarthy said the president wasn't watching television, as has been widely reported, and that he doesn't believe he was aware his supporters were leading the violence, even though he spoke with mister Trump that afternoon

"Home estimate. It's four 11 now on WTO. It's being called a highly unusual incident. It happened today over the Korean Peninsula. North Korea flew 12 warplanes near its border with South Korea prompting the south to scramble 30 military aircraft in response, all this according to officials in Seoul. It happened hours after North Korea fired two ballistic missiles into the sea in its 6th round of missile tests in less than two weeks. Joining us live, WTO P national security correspondent JJ green, JJ, what is the latest on this clearly people in that part of Asia are really concerned? Well, this is emerging to be another geopolitical quagmire, North Korea's condemning the U.S. for redeploying a U.S. aircraft carrier to the waters east of South Korea saying this poses a grave threat to stability in the region. And this comes after, as you mentioned, multiple missile launches from North Korea in recent days, including one that flew over Japan, then those jets you talked about, Sean. 8 fighter jets and four bombers staged a formation flight north of the inter Korean air boundary and they were thought to have conducted air to surface firing drills, drills in this clearly is designed to elicit a response. So yeah, this is developing into a potential serious geopolitical situation because there are all these countries involved and of course the U.S. being a Pacific power wants to stay on top of it. Do we know what North Korea's objective is here? Well, the bottom line is North Korea wants sanctions relief, but it had an opportunity some years ago under president Trump and essentially threw it away. And then got angry, I suppose, with the U.S. and said it wouldn't talk. But it's trying to get these sanctions relieved and it's craving international recognition as well for its nuclear possessions. It wants to be recognized, but that's not going to happen at all. So what's the word from The Pentagon on this? General pat Ryder, who's a spokesman for The Pentagon said to us a little earlier today. They're going to watch weight and remain ready. And he said in response to this situation, they have positioned the Ronald Reagan carrier group, which is joined by two Japanese Navy destroyers and one Korean navy destroyer in the sea of Japan to conduct trilateral ballistic missile defense exercises. These exercises are going to send a message of allied unity to North Korea, but at the same time what it's going to do most likely is North Korea will probably try to do some type of match. Do something even more provocative. So we're in a situation ambassador Joe Dini who used to be, he was the special envoy for the 6 party talks with North Korea. He said, we know that North Korea does this. We know that it happens periodically, but we can not get complacent and think that this is just another thing. North Korea is going to do and then stop. They may go too far one day and cause an accidental war. Something to be monitored closely thanks to Jack. You're welcome. WDT open national security correspondent JJ green. "War, this morning, Russia has this week officially annexed four regions of Ukraine, doubling down on its war against Ukraine. And word that Bohr and more people are leaving Russia these days because of it. This morning, WTO national security correspondent JJ green with more on this exit. The war has created a massive problem for Russia's neighbors like Georgia. 800,000 Russian citizens entered Georgia from March to August. A research associate at the Atlantic council's digital forensics research lab in Georgia says many of them are legitimate, others are not. And this is a horrific number in terms of national security perspective of Georgia. And here's what some of them are doing to threaten George's national security. Corruption. More specifically. Some people were asking, how they can buy driving license in Georgia. And this is what is the biggest threat for Georgia's national security. Georgia is not doing anything to limit immigration, even though other countries have put limits on Russian immigration. So JJ Russian president Vladimir Putin has signed a decree that makes it easier for foreigners to get Russian citizenship if they join the army. What have you learned about that? Yes, Sean, this is really interesting. This decrease has foreign citizens or stateless persons who sign a contract to serve in Russia's armed forces for at least a year and take part in military operations for at least 6 months will be eligible for the simplified applications procedures. And it says the foreigners who are injured in combat before 6 months of fighting are up and can not return to the battlefield will also be eligible according to this decree. But here's the thing. The way this war is going, these folks may not last that long, because thousands of Russians are dying almost every week on the battlefield in this war against Ukraine. But the latest of the war between Russia and Ukraine will be so national security correspondent JJ green, talking with Hillary and Sean, you are listening to 103.5

Russian president Vladimir Putin said last week that he was announcing a call up of thousands of reservists for the conflict in Ukraine. And that sparked protest all across the country. JJ, the Ukrainian government says it is investigating yet another mass burial site that allegedly contains the bodies of Ukrainian citizens. What have you learned about that? That's right, John. This site is an industrial chicken farm outside of kosaka lopan, which is about two kilometers from the international border, about a mile, I think, once used by Russian troops to shelter their tanks. And Ukrainian officials and soldiers are talking about up to a hundred bodies discovered so far, not clear how they got there to that number earlier this month, Ukrainian forces recaptured that area and pushed Russian forces back over the border in a very quick offensive to liberate the northeastern region of harkey from occupation. "We're here because we refuse to live in a world where big powers triple borders by force. The latest military package of $675 million will include howitzers and anti tank systems, but the U.S. is also looking ahead. The face of the war is changing. We will work together to train Ukraine's forces for the long haul. Secretary of State Antony Blinken is announcing even more U.S. assistance today to help Ukraine's neighbors protect themselves. That additional U.S. Military assistance announced by blinken would total about $2 billion for Ukraine in 18 other countries in the region. We also learned this morning that blinken arrived in Ukraine this morning for an unscheduled visit. In addition to meeting with Ukraine's foreign minister, he was also he is also visited children's hospital. That aid to European countries comes amid new concerning developments. Countries bordering Russia are increasingly concerned about the influx of Russian citizens into the European Union through what they call the Schengen area as a result, Latvia, Lithuania, Poland and Estonia have all announced that they're suspending visas. EU visas for those coming from Russia into their countries. This is a significant development suggesting they expect trouble. That's national security correspondent JJ green. Senate majority leader Chuck Schumer. Vote on marriage equality will happen on the Senate floor in the coming weeks. Schumer wants it to be a stand-alone Bill, but Democrats need at least ten Republicans to get that vote to move forward and are still trying to secure enough GOP support. That led to some suggestions to attach it to a continuing resolution. Senate minority leader Mitch McConnell doesn't want a lot of amendments attached to such a short term spending bill to avoid a government shutdown, but he's letting the process play out for now. "The weekend, everybody. One 22. Glad you're with us here at WTO P this early hour. Now to the latest of the war between Ukraine and Russia, just how long will this war actually go on this morning, WTO national security correspondent JJ green with the latest for us. Russia has lost more than 900 special forces, soldiers paratroopers, marines, and pilots over 6 months of war in Ukraine. The according to the BBC. And this is problematic because those types of troops are very costly to replace. Russia's lost more than 80,000 troops in 6 months plus a few days of war according to western intelligence. And that is a staggering toll. Ukraine says 47,000 were killed, tens of thousands have been injured. Ukraine has lost close to 10,000 troops. They launched an offensive this week in the south and are making limited progress, but Russia continues launching attacks in the south and east, and more civilians are being killed. The UN says more than 6000 are dead, 8000 have been injured. JJ, they're complaints now that the Kremlin is trying to manipulate that situation at that nuclear power plant into a strategic political win that seems like a very dangerous game to play. There were situations where the inspectors were going through the facility, but they were not allowed to talk privately with the Ukrainian workers who worked at the plant that they were being shadowed. Essentially by Russian troops and now Ukrainian president volodymyr zelensky is accusing Russia of intimidating the nuclear inspectors allowing as well only Kremlin funded journalist into the zap region nuclear power plant to document this and what basically we're hearing is that they're hoping to use this for some kind of propaganda campaign back at home to say we're doing the right thing. Now let's turn to Ukraine where the security of the biggest nuclear power plant in Europe is in question, fighting is taking place very close to the zapper Asia nuclear power plant, and there's word Russia has launched a cyberattack on the organization that operates it. National security correspondent JJ green joins us with more on this concern JJ what do you know? Hillary, if the cooling system of this plant is damaged, it could lead to a nuclear meltdown. Escape of radiation and a lot of people across Europe could get sick and die. But despite this enormous risk, Russian troops continue to occupy the plant and use it as a shield to launch missile strikes on villages and towns in the region. This concern is not just something nuclear experts are worried about. It's risen to the presidential level. French president Macron spoke today with Ukraine's president zelensky. And the French embassy here in Washington tells WTO P Macron underscored his concern about the threat pose to the safety and security of that facility by the presence of Russian troops there. Also, if that isn't enough of a problem, Ukraine says today, Russia launched a cyberattack on the agency that operates the plant, reporting live, JJ green, WTO being news. JJ, today for the second time in a week there was a series of massive explosions at a Russian military base in Crimea. Give us an idea of what exactly happened here and how it impacts the war. Well, Sean, it's believed that a small drone attacked an ammunition depot down in the sim Ferro pole area in Crimea today, which is where Russia has a significant air base. It happened about 6 a.m. local time and these explosions were heard and felt almost 20 miles away. It triggered a massive evacuation from the region, but in terms of the damage, it's not yet clear, but we know that some of Russia's most sophisticated aircraft are located at that base. They're unconfirmed reports at this moment that it doesn't supersonic all weather fighter jets, aircraft, and another dozen close air support aircraft were there at that base during this explosion in this round of explosions. This is a significant blow to Russia's military because they don't know where the attacks are coming from. Will it be a long range missile? A sabotage team or something as small as a two and a half foot long inexpensive and expendable suicide drone, like what happened today? JJ, thanks so much. You're welcome. National security correspondent JJ green joins us live with more on this changing. Yeah, that's right, Sean and Hillary, griner was convicted and sentenced to a long prison term and she may have to serve some or all of that term. It really depends on the whims of the Russian government. Grinder's legal team is going to appeal. They have ten days to do it. It's not likely anything will change because the appeals process is subjected to the same pattern that other trials are there. Usually what the prosecutors ask for, the prosecutors get. We know the U.S. government has made at least one offer to the Russian government to swap griner and former marine Paul Whelan for a convicted Russian arms dealer, but tensions between the U.S. and Russia being what they are, which is pretty high. Yeah, this is a woman was a Ukrainian. She defected to Russia in 2014 after the Russian invasion took over parts of the eastern part of the country. And she joined the Russian military and worked her way up and became what is now a lieutenant lieutenant colonel and recently she had bragged about how much she liked killing Ukrainians and she had ordered numerous strikes on Ukrainian civilians. Well, today her car was struck by a missile as she drove in an area of Donetsk. It appeared as though she was perhaps the only target. I've asked Ukrainian officials about that. "In to the U.S. drone strike that killed the leader of Al-Qaeda on this week's episode of the hunt with WTO national security correspondent JJ green, doctor Hans Jacob Schindler, senior director of the counter extremism project, says the strike was a counter terrorism coup on many levels. If you remember a couple of weeks ago, we were joking about the location of Ayman zawahiri. I'm pretty sure he's in Afghanistan. I did not expect him to be in Kabul. So taking this man out is indeed a counter terrorism on many levels. It is quite astounding that the American administration seems to have an information network not only to identify him, but also to identify him as they set in April. And then decide for the perfect moment for the strike, this means if you have a high profile tag, usually you strike immediately because you don't know if the target is moving, whether you can track it, they knew they had an information network that was reliable enough that they could continue to track even if it does move. So that is very impressive. I have to say. Who is in line? Most likely to be the next leader. Yeah, I mean, the person that everyone is talking about is the individual called safe Al Adel himself, Egyptian again. Apparently, according to my former colleagues at the UN, currently in Iran, which is a quite an interesting development. "13 Double DT will be national security correspondent JJ green this morning explains how despite the dozens of civilian casualties Ukraine's military and its civilians are really putting up a fierce fight that's taking a steep toll on Russia's military right now For the second time in a week Russia has lost a top general major general Vitaly Garza mov chief of staff of the 41st army was killed outside kharkiv along with other senior officers Last week its deputy commander major general Andrei zhukovsky was confirmed by Russian media to have been killed He was killed by a sniper Both of these generals being killed will suggest this war is not going well because major generals are not expected to be dying in fighting unless something is going wrong The loss of top ranking officers has come at a time when much of the Putin invasion force has become bogged down by logistical problems Poor morale and Ukrainian resistance And there's another thing Seems as though they're encrypted communications system is failing as well JJ we know that the Kremlin is putting up a fierce disinformation fight abroad but they're also fire hosing Russian citizens with it as well Give us an idea of what you learned about this So we know that the state government Russian government has essentially banned all of the independent media in that country and that includes radio and television So what they've decided to do is to replace all of that independent media with state run media So basically they're using those frequencies to blast out to people in Russia who were supposedly relying on those other stations and frequencies for independent and true and real news They're basically using those very same frequencies to blast more propaganda out to them leaving Russians in the dark about what's really happening and we're starting to see how that is playing out on the global stage because many people say folks inside Russia when they try to tell them what's.

They will move to Hamid Karzai International airport within the next day or so. Two of these battalions or Marines won his army. Pentagon press secretary John Kirby made it clear this is not a combat mission. I want to stress that these forces are being deployed to support the orderly and safe reduction of civilian personnel at the request of the State Department and to help facilitate an accelerated process of working through s. I V applicants. This is a temporary mission with a narrow focus. Another 1000 army and Air Force troops are being moved to facilitate the processing of special immigrant visa applicants. There are thousands of Afghans and their families who have helped the U. S military during the war who need to get out because if the Taliban captures them, they will surely be killed. J. J Green W

Pentagon Sending Troops to Kabul to Help Evacuation of U.S. Embassy
"That the U. S Embassy is not closed. But the U. S will draw down to accord diplomatic presence in Afghanistan soon. It's very important to say that our embassy remains open in our diplomatic mission will endure. This follows word from a U. S official who says the Pentagon is sending in troops to Afghanistan, Afghanistan's Karzai International Airport to help with the evacuation of the American Embassy in Kabul. The U. S embassy is urging all Americans to leave Afghanistan immediately as the Taliban captures key provinces in that country and US troops continue their withdrawal. The Taliban claims they have seized Afghanistan's third largest city, Herat and another key city is about to fall, which could be too much for the fledging fledgling democracy to survive. Get more from w. T o p national security correspondent JJ Green. The speed of Afghanistan's meltdown is staggering. A week ago, Kandahar was thought to be a place that Taliban would not be able to take. There's word today they've broken through the front lines. Kandahar is Afghanistan's second largest city and the birthplace of the Taliban, so taking that city is a key objective for them. But while all this is unfolding, there is a perception The world is standing by hoping the Afghan national forces can step in to fight them off. But the reality is, according to sources, many of the Afghan national forces are deserting and cutting deals with the Taliban just to stay alive. So Afghanistan's days as a democracy may be numbered in single digits. JJ Green w T o P news and we'll stay on top of the breaking developments all through the day here on W T O P

Beyond Pandemic’s Upheaval, a Racial Wealth Gap Endures
"It's a 10 corporations across the country say they're making big investments in diversity, equity and inclusion. But are they really Bank of America launched a $1 Billion.4 Year campaign in 2020 on this week's edition of of Colors, a dialogue on race in America, with Chris Korn and JJ Green, Ebony Thomas, the racial Equity and economic Opportunity Initiatives executive at Bank of America, explained what it's all about on the podcast. We made this commitment back in June of 2020. And I think this commitment really enforces the connection we have to our community the importance of this in our community and what we know for generations is that Simen Systemic racism has created a racial wealth gap in America, and one of the elements of this billion dollar, commitment or billion dollar plus commitment is it's just support those communities of color and to close that help support to close that. Racial wealth gap. Today. White family has eight times the wealth of black families and five times out of Hispanic Latino families. And so we want to make sure that we are doing work in the space around entrepreneurship and innovation, housing, small business and quite honestly health to be able to support and close that wealth gap. If there were no pandemic, would we still be doing something like this? I think that the pandemic has definitely laid bare for us. The equities that we see particularly Communities of color around health. And so you know, I think this is a place that we we've had some work in that we've done some some elements of health. Washington DC Under Curfew Amid Capitol Hill Chaos
"Capitol Hill with 20 minutes to go before the curfew sets in, and the protesters are forced to leave the Capitol grounds. Let's go live to W. T. O P s Can Duffy who joins us on Skype? Hey, guys Moments ago. They are taking this curfew very seriously. The authorities they're clearing people back away from the Capitol building, and they have had success doing that. Now The largest crowd we saw is on the western side of the Capitol building. Moments ago, they were still hundreds of people still packed at the entrance there along the steps we saw thousands before, but the crowd dissipated greatly that said they had to get them out of there. So they started to deploy Flash bangs empty any officers joining federal authorities as well chanting, movable back getting everybody back. All the way down the lawn. So now we're about I would say 100 yards away now from the Capitol building. The same thing happened on the northern side as well and the eastern side on the front steps of the Capitol building as police. Also, you stun grenades to drive back the crowds. There were still seen some violence. In fact, we witnessed some trump demonstrators. Spotting a media section and just completely trashing cameras and equipment attacking the media as they're reporting there, But we have seen all day long. Just Lot of chaos and a lot of what happened inside the Capitol Little Day itself, and it's just been an insane day. Never seen anything like this happening before. But as you said, the curfew is now approaching 6 P.m.. In D, C and We'll have to see what happens if this crowd dissipates and goes away. If they police are going to try to get them out of the streets completely or start making arrests can have to wait and see what happened. Can if I can ask you from your standpoint are the people aware that there's a six o'clock curfew tonight? Oh, yes, People are talking about a lot of chatter about 60 em Kirky in such but some people don't want to go home. They want to stay here they say hold your ground. We're not going anywhere. Who knows what that means. But they do not want to leave the streets and the real diehards are still here outside the Capitol building. They have been driven back, but they remain here tonight in D. C. And we know if police are intent on arresting everybody who doesn't abide by this curfew, Hillary, we don't know. I mean, take for example, over this summer with the George Floyd protest. We had those curfews did not know if any arrest or meant going to be made. And then they did. They arrested hundreds and one night. In fact, we were out there on smaller street. So this could happen tonight as well. It depends on what these people want to do. Do they want to stay here or go home? The majority of people have left gun out into other areas of the district. But there's still a sizeable crowd here. I would say in the hundreds now. What remains to be seen what police will do to get them to go home and she will buy by the curfew. All right, w T. O p s Ken Duffy on the scene outside the capital as we're just 17 minutes away from the city wide curfew in the district. Now, let's go live to double D. T. OBY. Capitol Hill correspondent Mitchell Miller, who was inside the Capitol as all of this started, but then had to be evacuated from the capital. Mitch, What's the latest? You have Well right now, Shawn. There's an uneasy tension here at the capital and in the Capitol complex as they try to figure out exactly what was just explained. I can. I mean, what are the demonstrators going to do? So We're really kind of in a holding pattern here. I have been personally evacuating with other reporters and people to the Rayburn building in a secure area. On dime. Sure, staff members are also spread out across the Capitol complex in various areas just to take people through. Who maybe just joining to find out exactly how this all went through. I won't go through the entire day, but Suffice to say it was early in the afternoon. The counting of the electoral college votes had just gotten underway. And suddenly it just happened so quickly that these protesters were up on top of the steps at the U. S Capitol and I can't tell you How rare are I've actually never even seen that happen before on. I've seen many, many protests here before And when they went to the Capitol steps. We knew that something was inherently very, very different about this demonstration. And then it was just a short time later that these people were literally walking all through the capital itself. And and then, shortly thereafter, we found out about a woman getting shot inside. There was a chaotic scene surrounding that in a hallway. Apparently, these people had gotten through a window. They basically just broke the window. It came through and then various things happened, including people going through the Senate chamber and trying to get into the House chamber where they were blockaded from getting in. But people had guns drawn there. People were hearing doors closing that wonder wondering whether or not that was a gunshot, or whether something else everybody wondering what was happening behind the doors that were outside of us in the area that I was in. We were actually basically locked into a small area, basically hoping that nothing would happen where we were, but where we were was right by the House chamber, so Clearly there were a lot of demonstrators making their way through the capital. I think, basically to put a quick rapid on this, though I think we're gonna have to find out what is going to Either case of security moving forward for the U. S Capitol. Because this was clearly untenable. There's no way anybody to be able to have dozens on perhaps even more trespassers go right through the U. S capitol on a day like today, especially when they knew there were going to be protest. So Certainly a lot of troubling questions ahead. That will need to be answered, and he can bet lawmakers will be trying to get answers to those Welsh on Hillary. One other I answered question, Mitch is what happens now, with the tallying of these electoral votes. I mean, we don't even know when the capital's going to reopen for lawmakers. Right? Exactly. I mean, they were Wistfully moved out as you can imagine, and move to secure areas and then those chambers were empty very, very quickly, and it's good that they were because who knows what happened to have these people confronted them personally, which they had been known to do on the ground? I think right now, if I had to guess I just don't think that the lawmakers will be coming back into Chamber this evening. Now, I'm sure some people some would like to make a statement and say You're not going to allow this to happen, but there are so many logistical issues that JJ Green has pointed out. And others have mentioned that you have a security sweep that has to be done. You have no idea whether people left things behind. There's been all kinds of issues related to, of course, the usual suspicious packages they had to evacuate the cannon building earlier today. No, I just don't think it would be a safe thing to do to bring lawmakers back tonight. And then, of course, you still have the question of what? What are the demonstrators going to do if they know that the lawmakers are back in session? Is that only going to encourage them to stay longer? So I think it'll be really interesting to see what the House and Senate leadership decides to do. Moving forward because I don't think they want to be feeling like they can be intimidated by these demonstrators. But at the same time, let's face it. These are older, many of them lawmakers, and we have a pandemic, which we haven't really even mentioned today. Uh All of these people that were demonstrating today except for a very few did not have masks on. So that was a whole another health issue. But it's just yet another thing that compounds all the health safety issues that we're dealing with here at the U. S.
