"The head belief in is also of the head but it's also of the heart. It's it's it's not just believing that something is true. It's trusting in it but it doesn't necessarily mean you have a feeling that goes along with it. I mean feelings may come from believing in or trusting in depending on your personality but feelings aren't required or necessarily evidence of your decision. Look i'm not a very emotional person on these things. My friend jim wallace's and either in fact when you talk to him he will say look. I don't have all these these feelings about god. And all this. I mean i know intellectually that god exists and i trust in him for my salvation but feeling so necessarily flow from that not continually anyway. You shouldn't be waiting for a mood or an emotion to confirm a decision. You've made it might come. And many people have those moods or have those emotions but that is not the evidence or bad is not required for you to know that you believe in that you trust in. You don't need the emotion to have the intellectual affirmation in your own mind that you not only believe that jesus the savior but you are trusting in him for your salvation and so feelings may come feelings may go. But that doesn't necessarily mean that you need a feeling to affirm what you've already deciding. Factor was martin. Luther who said feelings come and feelings go How did he put it feelings. Come and feelings. Go but feelings can be deceiving. My warren is the word of god. Not else is worth believing. This is by the way why the proverbs say above all else. Guard your heart because everything you do flows from it notice. The proverb that's province for twenty-three doesn't say follow your heart. It's guard your heart. You may have feelings come. You may have feelings go big key point though is the facts the truth and if you've accepted christ you're save i'm gonna mention what. Cs lewis says about this brilliantly. I might add right after the break to go anywhere. you're listening. I don't have enough faith to be. Frank turk on the american family radio network back into if you're low on the fm. Dial looking for national public radio go no further. We're actually going to tell you the truth here. That's our intent. Anyway you're listening to. I don't have enough faith to be an atheist with frank turk on the american family. Radio network website cross examined dot org niche cross examined with demand the end of his dot or today. I'm asking the question. Are you a moody christian. You trust your moods or do you trust the evidence you rely on feelings to discover whether or not christianity is true or do you look at the facts you look at the evidence and before the break we were talking about a sheriff who wrote in and said he was having trouble going from belief that to belief in and i thought it would be helpful to take a look at what. Cs lewis said about this. Because lewis as you know has said so many things so well and in mere christianity he talks about what happens when your mood changes. Here's what he said. Let's let's track along with lewis here for a few minutes. He says supposing man's reason wants decides that the weight of the evidence is for it and he means christianity. I can tell the that man. Or i can tell that man what is going to happen to him in the next few weeks. Here's what lewis says. He says there will come a moment when there is bad news or he is in trouble or he's living among a lot of other people who do not believe it and all at once his emotions will rise up and carry out a sort of blitz on his belief routes will come a moment when he wants a woman or wants to tell a lie or feels very pleased with himself or sees a chance of making a little money in some way. That is not perfectly fair. Some moment in fact that it would be very convenient if christianity were not true and once again his wishes and desires will carry out a blitz. I'm not talking about moments at which any real new reasons against christianity. Turn up those have to be faced and that is a different matter. I'm talking about moments. Where a mere mood rises up against it and let me stop right here. You know mir mood might be the fact that you're expecting a mood to arise in you that confirms christianity is being true right. It might be you might be thinking. Well why don't they have more feelings or why haven't had the sense of the holy spirit. That that i sense other people have and you might think well that means. Christianity isn't true anymore. Because i don't have what my neighbor has in. He or she says they they have these feelings for god all the time. So maybe maybe. I'm not really christian. That mood might come up in other words all right. Let's go back to louis. He says now. Faith in the sense. In which i'm using the word is the art of holding onto things. Your reason has once accepted. In spite of your changing moods for moods will change whatever view. Your reason cakes. I know that bhai experience. Now that i am a christian i do have mood in which the whole thing looks very improbable but when i was an atheist i had moods in which christianity look terribly probable unquote again. This is from c. s. lewis mere christianity. Yeah moods come and moods go feelings. Come and feelings go. But what about the facts. In fact.

"Astor greg laurie with an invitation to get your heart right with the lord. And if you'd like to do that today. Pastor greg will help you in just a moment before. Today's edition of a new beginning concludes. But if you missed any portion of today's study a message called the foundation of life you can hear the whole program again online at harvest dot org or download an mp three again that's at harvest dot org. Well it's such a privilege to have a good friend here in the studio with us today. He's retired cold case. Detective j warner wallace. Jim wallace and he's just finished. His latest book called person of interest. Why jesus still matters in a world that rejects the bible. He investigates the person of christ using his training and skill as a detective. It's it's a unique look at the face and you know jim. Your book is so full of facts. Cold hard facts but when people come to the lord they come by faith so how does a factual case supportive. Faith decision is what we do in jury. Trials were constantly saying. Hey we're going to give you enough good evidence to make the proper inference about what happened even though you are still going to have unanswered questions. If you're the kind of person who has can't make a decision on a jury with unanswered questions. we're not going to empanel. We're going to leave you off the jury because we know we're not going to be able to answer every question. We'll build answer enough though to leave you with a smaller step of trust that. For your inference. What we do in christianity is the same way. Jesus did the same thing he said. You know if you don't believe in the of what. I was told you at least believe on the evidence of these miracles just as the gospel john. He provides evidence at every turn. He he heals then he heralds. Why is it in that order. Why do i. Why don't need to do this. I to demonstrate the authority. I have the words. I'm about to say. I've already laid the foundation for them. Evidentially when when john the baptist is starting to struggle right. He sends his disciples. Jesus jesus could easily tell those disciples of john the baptist. Go back and tell john he should know better. He's my cousin for crying out loud he left in the womb and our parents met you know he baptize me. Saw the descending of really. John should know what he does is he reminds the disciples of john the baptist of the miracles. He has worked in front of the go back and tell john go back and remind john. That's evidence that's called indirect evidence right the evidence of miracles. Jesus constantly does this. Even though we know that that evidence. I know this too. I don't expect to argue somebody under the kingdom. What i wanna do is people to kind of remove the barriers it constructed for themselves so that when they hear the gospel it's available to them and so i think the kind of work we do is just kind of till the soil comparing the ground for and i know that for me personally. You done this all day long. It would have been useless. But at some point god i acted to change the nature of my heart so i would pay attention to the case at all. I didn't do that. Nobody i was prayed into that position by people who love me enough to pray for me. And god's spirit moved in me and it was all got top down but at the same time when we take time to make a case. We're kind of like basically. It's a big preaching the gospel. I needed to hear the case. That way i needed to hear that evidential case before i would listen to the gospel and so as that was how that's how i became a christian. I became a christian by examining the gospels as if they were eyewitness accounts to see if there were reliable and that helped me to tear down the walls that i had constructed. So that when i read what the new testament said about jim wallace about my need for a savior. I was able to actually respond. Well those are just some of the insights that you'll find reading this brand new book from j warner wallace former cold case. Detective and the title of the book is person of interest subtitle. Why jesus still matters in a world that rejects the bible. This is the kind of insight that helps strengthen our own faith and it offers such practical help and sharing our faith with others on their level. "Pastor greg. Laurie has more to come in. This message called the nonbelievers favorite verse. It's practical council from the lord sermon on the mount today here on a new beginning and if he weren't able to hear all of today's program no problem you can catch up by listening to the program again on the harvest app or by going to harvest dot org. Just look for the message. Titled the nonbelievers favorite verse. And then we're excited to have author j warner wallace with us. Today jim wallace is a retired cold case detective and he's just finished his new book person of interest subtitled wide. Jesus still matters in a world that rejects the bible. Now jim in the book you examine two cases side by side one is a real life cold case you investigated in the latter part of your career and the other is the case for the deity of christ and you do a great job of showing how the same investigative techniques can apply to each case and render a verdict. Give us one morsel from your book. One example. sure part of this is that we are able to convince juries of something. That's true even though we don't have any evidence from a crime scene this happens all the time. The reason why we're cold cases are cold for a reason because they're lame okay. They don't have the evidence that a case that would be easily. So what have so. I pick these cases up. I often no. I'm not gonna have evidence from a crime scene. I'm defining another way to convince people that this actually occurred. And so i'm always talking about what leads up to the crime and what follows the crime that is as important as what happened on the day of the crime as a matter of fact what leads up to in what follows will often demonstrate what happened on the day of the crime. Well it turns out the histories the same way. What leads up to history. There's a prophetic fuse. Right of all the jewish prophecy leading up to jesus. There is a cultural fuse of all of the world powers or align unaligned and the wars. That occurred until finally roman empire begins to take over and develop a scenario lay the foundation for the arrival of jesus and there's even a huge history ancient history of deities and in the ancient world that seemed to bear some resemblance to one another. As a matter of fact i have identified fifteen ways that these ancient deities are similar to each other yet. They don't all possess all fifteen Attributes they possessed. You know six seven. Eight of these attributes. Well didn't comes along one. possesses all fifteen attributes of the ancient deities and his name is jesus has now why would god align history and then arrive meeting those attributes of the other because it turns out that when you can meet the expectations of the expecter you get a great response. And so what. God does he arrives. As paul says on mars hill you are people. You of worship a lot. Of god's even see a monument here to the unknown god. Let me tell you now. What you've been worshiping kind of ignorance. Let me tell you now about that. It turns out jesus in bodies the expectations of all humans who worship dvd's prior to jesus. Why would this be. The case is that fuse is burning up to the appearance of god incarnate. And then of course all of human history that follows jesus from the arts for music. You realize you could reconstruct the story of jesus just from the painted and sculpted artwork antiquity to the middle ages. If all you had you didn't destroy all of art. In order to erase destroy as a matter of fact the top artists in the history of art any genre anytime period. Google the top three artists in that genre and guess what in their portfolio. You will find a painting sculpture. An etching a drawing of jesus of nazareth there is no other historical figure in the history of historical figures who can claim they've been painted or sculpted by everyone so it turns out that you do a lot of racing in order to erase the impact that jesus has had on. Now how could this be. Well it turns out if he's just a guy it makes no sense. If he's god entering into his own creation it makes all the sense in the world and so it turns out that fuse and fallout are actually really good evidence. The jesus who he said he was sure. Those are just some of the insights that you'll find reading this brand new book from j warner wallace. A former cold case detective and the title of the book is person of interest. Subtitle why jesus still matters. In a world that rejects the bible. It's an exciting journey. Looking at the evidence laid out in this book. And we'd like to send you a person of interest to thank you for your investments. So new beginning can continue coming your way each day. you know. we don't have any churches or large organizations paying all the bills. It's the donations of listeners. That help these studies to remain available. So thank you for your generosity and you can send your donation today to a new beginning fox. Four thousand riverside california nine two five one four or call one eight hundred eight to one thirty three hundred. That's one eight hundred. Eighty two one three three zero zero or go online to harvest dot org. Everybody greg laurie here encouraging you to join us this weekend for what we call harvest at home. It's worship. It's a message from the word of god. You can watch it with your family in your front room or you can watch it on the go on your tablet on your phone or your computer. Take it with you. Take the word of god. With you and join us or harvested. Home at harvest donald. How do we respond when someone doesn't want to hear the good news and is outright hostile. Pastor greg has some important perspective on that from the sermon on the mount next time.

"New book called person of interest by author j warner wallace. Jim wallace is a retired cold case. Detective and he takes a look at the uniqueness of christ the way an investigator would look at one of his cases. A case where there's no crime scene it's fascinating and it's a great tool for helping us. Tell others about christ master greg. You mentioned how some believers are reluctant to share their faith but the very same time they'll freely offer recommendations recommend a movie or a restaurant or an auto mechanic so why not recommend that people consider the christian faith exactly. How would a resource like this book person of interest help and making that kind of recommendation. Well let me tell you. How would have helped an eighteen year. Old greg laurie. I was a newly minted christian. I heard the pastors say go. Share the gospel. So i went out and i started telling people about jesus in fact i ran into one of my old friends that grew up with and i was telling him about the lord of christ had done for me and suddenly some guy steps into the conversation. I didn't invite him to step in but he came in barraged with about four to five questions. I don't even remember what they were. But all i remember is i didn't have the answers. I was humiliated. I was embarrassed My friend i was talking to didn't wanna talk to me anymore. And i went home and i realized i've got a study and prepare myself to answer. Questions that nonbelievers ask. We need to be equipped you know. The bible says we should be able to give to every man in answer concerning the hope those ns but with meekness inferior..

"The polarization. We're going to hear these Christmas carols. That's maybe those of the facts that we share over the holidays. We hear that You hear the message? What I heard in the snow driving home to my parents that maybe the cracks in the walls. Or some light could come in the treat each other this way is anti Christmas. But how do we see Glory to God? In the highest we all want to say that who are believers and on earth peace, goodwill toward men and women. What does it mean? To say to give glory to God in the highest means. We have to act in peace and show goodwill toward each other, even across our polarized lines. That's the Christmas message and nevermore important in a time like this so polarized and that just doesn't end it. The end of the 25th of December they're going to take that into into a new A new year. How do we find the messages that should speak to all of us and and help us to calm down and lower our temperature and not be so afraid of each other? What did what did the Angels say to this shot? Shepherds? Don't be afraid. It's what they said. Don't be afraid because under us, the child was born. Go and see him in the manger or politics. Says, Be afraid. Be afraid. Both. I say, Be afraid. Be afraid, Jesus said. Don't be afraid. Eight times in the New Testament and let's no we can't say glory to God in the highest Unless we commit ourselves each one of us to bring peace and goodwill to all men and women. That's a message. It could change us if we let it. Jim Wallace, who's Spotify list obviously has both Christmas carols and Leonard Cohen song Anthem on It is the founder of Sojourners, Jim. Happy Holidays. "I'm killed gross in another segment of this program. We hear that people have been saying Christmas isn't what it used to be since the fourth century. In these times, people often say the holidays to commercial that you don't have to give up gift giving to reflect and not just the religious but the spiritually messages that imbue this time of year with a special meaning and has its own gift of reflection on who we are and how we live. Especially these days when we seem so divided. Jim Wallace thinks about such things. Year round is the founder of Sojourners, just reaching its 50th anniversary. The writer, teacher and preacher has served on the White House Advisory Council on Faith based and neighborhood partnerships. He's also host of the podcast soul of the Nation. So, Jim Peace on Earth. Good will toward men may be a tough order any year this year, it seems tougher. You know, Gil, It's great to talk. This Christmas season has always been my favorite. Even back in those days when I was very alienated from the church I grew up in It was a young student activist. One nothing to do with churches or any of that, because they were on the wrong side of a lot of stuff I care about is the young activists. But remember driving home in the snow from Michigan State to my to my whole Detroit and time and time again and be a Christmas Carol, or Christmas text. To be a moment that the meaning of this just struck me even in those days when I didn't want to admit I was listening. And so every year to me, this reminds me of some very core things like you just Mentioned the textiles shepherds after visiting this manger. That's what they said Gloria God in the highest and on earth, peace and goodwill among men and women right there. I mean glory to God in the highest and And is a crucial Werther and peace and goodwill among humankind among us and there's a connection between the two deep, deep connection. This isn't just about giving presence and Worshiping God, It's about who we are and what we do on Earth as it is in heaven is the last person and I was thinking is going about Mary's prayer. Magnificat. I love that prayer, she system and Mary said, My soul magnifies the Lord and my spirit rejoices. In God, my savior and then she in her prayer. She shows how this Christmas message turns the world literally upside down. It says he has shown strength with his arm. He has scattered the proud in the thoughts of their hearts. He has brought down the powerful from their Thrones and lifted up the lowly he has filled the hungry with good things. And sent the rich empty away. I mean, apply that to right now, so many people are really hungry. Right now. It's kind of country and feel themselves in need and in pain. And this Christmas message strikes right to them. What does it mean to us? Tow Follow, marries prayers, so not just giving gifts. But to bring the meaning of this change in human history, and Jim, How do we get that? How do we get to that point and one of the things I'm thinking of is right now we have in America or one side doesn't really talk to the other side. You know, they unfriend one another on Facebook. They stopped calling people they don't run into people anymore, because especially during this period of Cove. It You're not running into people anymore. So the ways that people of different views used to meet one another in neighborhoods at school, a church you know the bowling league. What? Whatever is not happening now. So how do you bring that? The polarization, be blunt and clear the polarization that were all contributing to different shared fax. We're no longer just adversaries and politics were enemies that is all anti. Christmas. So Leonard Cohen song where he says there's cracks and everything, and the light gets through in the cracks..

As it is in heaven is the last person and I was thinking this morning about Mary's prayer Magnificat. I love that prayer, she says. Mary said, my soul magnifies the Lord and my spirit rejoices in God, my savior. And then she in her prayer. I mean, apply that to right now, So many people are really hungry Right now. It's kind of country and feel themselves in need and in pain. And this Christmas message strikes right to them. What does it mean to us? Tow Follow, marries prayers, so not just giving gifts but to bring the meaning of this change in human history. And Jim, How do we get that? How do we get to that point and one of the things I'm thinking of is right now. We have in America or one side doesn't really talk to the other side. You know, they unfriend one another on Facebook. They stopped calling people they don't run into people anymore, because especially during this period of Cove. It You're not running into people anymore. So the ways that people of different views used to meet one another in neighborhoods at school, a church you know the bowling league. What it whatever is not happening now. So how do you bring that? The polarization. We be blunt and clear the polarization the world contributing to different shared fax. We're no longer just adversaries and politics were enemies that is all anti. Christmas. So Leonard Cohen song where he says there's cracks and everything, and the light gets through in the cracks. Okay, maybe these Christmas carols these Christmas scriptures these Christmas services. Many of us will go to across our divisions right across the polarization. We're gonna hear these Christmas carols. That's maybe those of the facts that we share over the holidays. We hear that We hear the message? What I heard in the snow driving home to my parents that maybe the cracks in the walls. Or some light could come in to treat each other This way is anti Christmas. But how do we see Glory to God in the highest we all want to say that who are believers? And on Earth peace, goodwill toward men and women. What does it mean? To say, to give glory to God in the highest means we have to act in peace and show goodwill toward each other. Even across our polarized lines. That's the Christmas message. And nevermore important in a time like this so polarized and that just doesn't end it. The end of the 25th of December. We've got to take that into into a new new year. How do we find the messages that should speak to all of us? And and help us to calm down and lower our temperature and not be so afraid of each other. What is what did the angel say to this shot? Shepherds? Don't be afraid. It's what they said. Don't be afraid, because under us a child is born. Go and see him in the manger or politics says, Be afraid. Be afraid. Both. I say, Be afraid. Be afraid, Jesus said. Don't be afraid. Eight times in the New Testament and let's no we can't say glory to God in the highest Unless we commit ourselves each one of us to bring peace and goodwill to all men and women. That's the message. It could change us if we let it. Jim Wallace, who's Spotify list obviously has both Christmas carols and Leonard Cohen song Anthem on It is the founder of Sojourners, Jim. Happy Holidays. "We hear that people have been saying Christmas isn't what it used to be since the fourth century. In these times, people often say the holidays to commercial that you don't have to give up gift giving to reflect and not just the religious but the spiritually messages that imbue this time of year with a special meaning. And has its own gift of reflection on who we are and how we live, especially these days when we seem so divided. Good will toward men may be a tough border any year. This year. It seems tougher. You know, Gil, it's great to talk. This Christmas season has always been my favorite. Even back in those days when I was very alienated from the church I grew up in It was a young student activist, one nothing to do with churches or any of that, because they're on the wrong side of a lot of stuff that I care about is the young activists, but I remember driving home In the snow from Michigan State for my my whole Detroit and time and time again and be a Christmas Carol or Christmas text to be a moment that the meaning of this just struck me even in those days when I didn't want to admit I was listening. So every year to me, this reminds me of some very core things like you just mentioned the textiles shepherds after visiting This manger. That's what they said. Gloria God in the highest and on earth, peace and goodwill among men and women right there. I mean glory to God in the highest and And is a crucial Werther and peace. And goodwill among humankind molests and there's a connection between the two deep deep connection isn't just about giving presence and worshiping God, it's about who we are and what we do. "You to many servants. Because that has been a consistent practice from the very geico and I will say when He. I don't remember exactly who it was. But it became a point in time where he switched from naming them specifically to saying you unbelievers in the room. We see we see Chris saying I've heard my coma from the pulpit. Now Anthony. Their son that was said earlier. I wanted to address when you started this whole thing. And you're going to you said you wanted to reach out and talk to these witnesses and you'll remember this that I told you that I happen to be friendly with a longtime detective. Okay Jim Wallace. He was with the sheriff's department. Or Warner walls. J wonderwall says what he goes by as an author to not be confused with the liberal. Jim Wallace But but JIM has been a twenty year detective. He has were cold case homicides. His expertise is eyewitness testimony and one of the things. I knew you were going to do a skype call. And I told you if they're if they're willing instead of you investigating I would pay for you know gyms time and I'd ask them to do it if he needs to be paid and I said the everything you're doing I witness testimony. You happen to know someone who is. This is his specialty. He is like a world renowned expert in eyewitness testimony so you know we would have him do the investigation on this and see who's right and I believe that you when after you had that meeting I asked you how when I asked with that specifically and I'll let you tell me tell everyone what you told me. I don't remember how you just said they weren't interested about Wallace. Said it all in in that So because I did explain who he was his books. He's got what the crime scene I think is what yes The his I was cold-case Christianity. Which is is really using his skills. As a cold case you know as as doing cold cases to For for that purpose so even as a presupposition list why don't agree with with initial approach like Caz it really is. It's a wonderful approach. It just for the Christians. You build faith right. It's it was awesome. So here's here's night. Put this up on screen real quick because this is what I would I would like on. I'm GonNa do this so that I'm trying to just format it really quick but I. I have here twelve questions Andrew. Let me let me get to the first question. Because he's been waiting very patiently and so Chris Hudson. Thank you for waiting patiently. I told you if I made him wanting to avoid that question by absolutely needs to be answered and so Christopher Hudson says this with all the issues with Grace Fellowship Church. Would it considered unwise joint street evangelism efforts with Tony? Yano so Kevin. You've person shot Kevin. What what you say. I'll I'll put my before. They jumping all explain. I can't do ministry with Tony Miano. Because he's an unrepentant sin. He's unwilling and refusing to reconcile with another believer. So I can't do ministry with him. He shouldn't be doing ministry stowe high. Yeah.

"Welcome back Jim Wallace with us Jim how many years now have you been studying this at least ten haven't you yeah about ten years I was kind of interested in it off and on but I was never like like Bob and rose says you have to turn believes into knowns and it was ten years ago when my believe became a known but before that it was a healthy interest but I had never really pursued it in the same way that I am now what would you say is the biggest revelation that you on covered that you become aware of by doing this I think it has to do with the fact that in this life we get so involved in things that were really not important and we're not involved nearly enough with things which are eternal this like doesn't have to be as complicated as most of us make it it doesn't have to be a stressful and anxiety ridden as most people make it and the one thing about knowing that the out of body experience has introduced you to a reality that is so much bigger than this gives you up a piece and a joy which you just can't are you can't possibly fathom now I love to say I walk around in this perpetual state of bliss I don't I'm just like everybody else but I know what's in there and I know I can get back to it if I ever really need to I know that it's there and it just takes a little effort on my part and I can find it again has your career as a musician enhanced durability for obese yeah I think so because obese AB at astral travel is everything to do with vibration and when I hear vibration I tend to translate that as a musician I translated into music for instance when I meditating out in our because he brought in the woods above our medicine wheel and when I'm in deep meditation there are times when I can hear of vibration around me I I can get down and actually hear that vibration and feel it and I interpret it as a low pedal be flat the lowest be flat on the piano the deep note on the organ it that's and that's the key it's and and so and I'm sure I'm not hearing music I'm hearing of vibration that my intellect XP turns into music but I'm also sure that that's the phenomenon that the agents were talking about when they talk about the music of the spheres or when the psalmist in the Old Testament says the hill the the stars sing for joy that kind of thing I think they heard it as music and it's it's a it's a wonderful feeling to be inside I had a I had it'll be a one time I was sitting in my chair it was at night my wife is a sleep in the next room where it would do well she was the sleep but she was laying in bed the next room almost asleep and I had this vivid impression of being in this tunnel that was filled with a vibration all around me it was and I could see I could see it but I experienced it as music apparently because she told me that you heard me say out loud it's music now I I don't remember saying that but that's how I must've been experiencing it so I think that's probably my way of of looking at it but just being inside that that group vibrational intensity let's take some calls here for you Jim this hour's gonna fly by let's go to Harry in New York City together started high hairy all right you're good to speak with you again I look into thank you Sir I have experience wrestle body projection all over fifty five years ago route fifty four I was about twelve just a one time or just like me I guess you I I yeah I guess you could say it was a one time of the cause of the second time I tried it I got so scared that I got myself right out of the hypnotic state yeah but this gentleman asked me with walking will kids up in private school and we were talking I was like I said I was a sixteen and I said I had read a this pamphlet small book with on hypnotism okay I know that it you know hypnotism a lot of it is relaxation techniques that's right and he said to me well if you've done that then you can do this and he explained to me what actual by projection was I thought it was a little wacky you know and I I said well I don't know you know out of Troy it I started to try and nothing happened he said well would you sell more of a state of relaxation and tried again and he walked out of the room and I was laying in bed and I I just got myself totally relaxed from like clos Oley up my little years and all the sudden it took about I would say between thirty to forty five minutes certain a smoky figure came out of my body and it was me but all I could see was the back of me and it was the same size as me and it just floated right out the cold tool I got so scared I sat up and immediately it sucked right back into my body back which would that jarring effect right just bang yeah it was unbelievable like I've never seen anything like it my wife and I was wondering if you all these years was I under a some kind of hypnotic spell or did it really happen sounds like getting happen Jim what do you think I think you're really happened I I've had people ask me if what well differences you know I'm often when I I might have an out of body experience and and my wife barb is in the room and they've asked her or if if she has actually seen something come out she never has but I talked to so many other people who have and I'm and I'm certainly not going to be so narrow minded as to say that just because I mean out of experience that that way that you know my experience on the is valid I I think you experience something very real and one of the things that convinces me of it is the idea that fear that's how are natural reaction would something like that happens when I had my first out of body experience I don't wanna say was fear but it was shock and is soon as you start to experience that that shock it it has the full show down in your body yes right this jarring effect Jim that we have right before we go to bed yeah I'm convinced we become aware of something and it's the astral body that was leaving your body which it does in your sleep state yeah ramming itself back and your physical body in that state jarring the fact I've I think you've got it right on the button is a matter of fact I'm I'm really come to believe that all of us have out of body experiences every night when we sleep and our dreams are memories that our intellect is interpreting of things that happen to us it's we're we're kind of like the the computer that has to D. fragment and all that kind of thing and that's what sleep is all about in sleep I think we return to the toward the source for the a caustic field and I think we do have experiences and our intellect then experience at that than X. planes those as dreams I don't think we can say this is what it was I think it say this is what it felt like it is what it looked like and part of the the difficulty of of intentionally inducing out of body experiences as getting over that initial shocker that fear so that when something strange happened you can go with it rather than recoil from it it's a difficult thing to do but all all also one more thing about the the the dream experience at our our our caller had it technically and this is just a a technical term there are really two different kinds of what we call at what we've been calling astral travel astral travel is actually travel out into other dimensions into other realities technically when we stay in this reality but leave our body it's called the set a literally esoteric travel this is what mineral which to do was involved in when skip Atwater I worked with him in the armed forces the military and he was training during the Cold War he was training people in basically astral or Africa that Sirica travel so they could actually go and do kind of like astral spying and it's a little like remote viewing isn't exactly the same same thing remote viewing same thing and members of the armed forces were actually trained in this skip tell story after story about how they were actually trained telling stories about a guy who was asked one time to discover what to find out where all of the American where all of the American submarines were located on the map and he was able to do it and on his way out he through either the site or by the way here's where the Soviet submarines are I know you know it it it is is still going on world who knows because it was a top secret the thing back then that is only been released when the we know when the the statute of limitations ran out this may still be going on I don't know dean Raden is doing some wonderful work ida to know went against the two with the same kind of idea remote viewing and that's theoretically a ferric travel when you staying within this reality and I think that's what our listener experience was he's actually saw he said that that projection from his own body I'm I'm I think it was real well you know I I've asked the it dames Paul Smith David Moore house who were all part of the government program to years ago yeah that is it still continuing and they said they don't think so because one they're not part of it and two they really think that the U. for was still on going they'd be doing that because they were one of the best our area yeah those those are some so and I believe them I don't think those are some really really high powered names I I I I would tend to agree with them let's go to Chris truck driving in Tennessee welcome to the program press Hey good evening this story pleasure to speak with you today thank you Dr your benefits here and the measured from month but it is yeah oh great in their first time caller to so welcome to the program we are experiencing in so it we all have a personal rolodex of experiences and then the mind flips through that role in action find the nearest experience you can say this is what it was so it I I don't think that language is adequate to explain what we experience in in real reality and so I think the mind just says what so I can come well you know I gotta tell you too it's just it's an amazing tool if you can perfect it is in a yeah yeah next up let's go to we've got time before the break so free in Los Angeles I so free hi.

"Welcome back Jim Wallace with us Jim how many years now have you been studying this at least ten haven't you yeah about ten years I was kind of interested in it off and on but I was never like like Bob and rose says you have to turn believes into knowns and it was ten years ago when my belief became a known but before that it was a healthy interest but I had never really pursued it in the same way that I am now what would you say is the biggest revelation that you uncovered that you become aware of by doing this I think it has to do with the fact that in this life we get so involved in things that were really not important and we're not involved nearly enough with things which are eternal this like doesn't have to be as complicated as most of us make it it doesn't have to be a stressful and anxiety ridden as most people make it and the one thing about knowing that the out of body experience has introduced you to a reality that is so much bigger than this gives you up a piece and a joy which you just can't are you can't possibly fathom now I love to say I walk around in this perpetual state of bliss I don't I'm just like everybody else but I know what's in there and I know I can get back to it if I ever really need to I know that it's there and it just takes a little effort on my part and I can find it again has your career as a musician enhanced your ability for obese yeah I think so because OB said that astral travel is everything to do with vibration and when I hear vibration I tend to translate that as a musician I translated into music for instance when I meditating out America's he brought in the woods above our medicine wheel and when I'm in deep meditation there are times when I can hear of vibration around me I I can get down and actually hear that vibration and feel it and I interpreted as a low pedal be flat the lowest be flat on the piano the deep note on the organ it that's that's the key it's and and so and I'm sure I'm not hearing music I'm hearing of vibration that my intellect XP turns into music but I'm also sure that that's the phenomenon that the agents were talking about when they talk about the music of the spheres or when the psalmist in the Old Testament says the hill the the stars sing for joy that kind of thing I think they heard it as music and it's it's a it's a wonderful feeling to be inside I had a I had it will be a one time I was sitting in my chair it was at night my wife is a sleep in the next room where would do well she was asleep but she was laying in bed the next room almost asleep and I had this vivid impression of being in this tunnel that was filled with a vibration all around me it was and I could see I could see it but I experienced it as music apparently because she told me that you heard me say out loud it's music now I I don't remember saying that but that's how I must've been experiencing it so I think that's probably my way of of looking at it that just being inside that that group vibrational intensity let's take some calls here for you Jim this hour's gonna fly by let's go to Harry in New York City to get us started high hairy all right you're good to speak with you again I look at you thank you Sir I have experience wrestle body projection all over fifty five years ago about fifty four I was about twelve just a one time or just like me I guess for you I I yeah I guess you could say it was a one time of the close of the second time I tried it I got so scared that I got myself right out of the hypnotic state yeah but this gentleman asked me with walking will kids up in private school and we were talking I was like I said I was a sixteen and I said I had read a this pamphlet booklet on hypnotism okay I know that it you know hypnotism a lot of it is relaxation techniques that's right and he said to me well if you've done that then you can do this and he explained to me what astral body projection was I thought it was a little wacky you know and I I said well I don't know you know out of Troy it I started to try and nothing happened he says will put yourself more of a state of relaxation and tried again and he walked out of the room and I was laying in bed and I I just got myself totally relaxed for Mike Cole is only up to my little years and all the sudden it took about I would say between thirty to forty five minutes certain a smoky figure came out of my body and it was me but all I could see was the back of me and it was the same size as me and it just floated right out the cold tool I got so scared I sat up and immediately it suck right back into my body back which would that jarring effect right just bang yeah I'm believable like I've never seen anything like it my wife and I was wondering if you all these years was I under a some kind of hypnotic spell or did it really happen sounds like give happen Jim what do you think I think you're really happened I I've had people ask me if what well differences you know I'm often when I I might have an out of body experience and and my wife barb is in the room and they've asked her or if if she has actually seen something come out she never has but I talked to so many other people who have and I'm and I'm certainly not going to be so narrow minded as to say that just because I mean out of experience that that way that you know my experience is only as valid I I think you experience something very real and one of the things that convinces me of it is the idea that fear that's how are natural reaction would something like that happens when I had my first out of body experience I don't wanna say was fear but it was shock and is soon as you start to experience that that shock it it has the full severity ranking your body against right this jarring effect Jim that we have right before we go to bed yeah I'm convinced we become aware of something and it's the astral body that was leaving your body which it does in your sleep state yeah ramming itself back into your physical body in that state jarring the fact I've I think you've got it right on the button is a matter of fact I'm I'm really come to believe that all of us have out of body experiences every night when we sleep and our dreams are memories that our intellect is interpreting of things that happen to us it's we're we're kind of like that the computer that has to D. fragment and all that kind of thing and that's what sleep is all about in sleep I think we return to the toward the source for the a caustic field and I think we do have experiences and our intellect then the experience at the den explains the those as dreams I don't think we can say this is what it was I think it say this is what it felt like it is what it looked like and part of the the difficulty of of intentionally inducing out of body experiences as getting over that initial shocker that fear so that when something strange happened you can go with it rather than recoil from it it's a difficult thing to do but all all also one more thing about the the the dream experience at our our our caller had it technically and this is just a a technical term there are really two different kinds of what we call at what we've been calling astral travel astral travel is actually travel out into other dimensions into other realities technically when we stay in this reality but leave our body it's called the set a literally ferric travel this is what mineral which to do was involved in when skip Atwater I worked with them for the armed forces the military and he was training during the Cold War he was training people in basically astral or Africa that Sirica travel so they could actually go and do kind of like astral spying it's a little like remote viewing isn't exactly the same same thing remote viewing same thing and are members of the armed forces were actually trained in this skip tell story after story about how they were actually trained telling stories about a guy who was asked one time to discover what to find out where all of the American where all of the American submarines were located on the map and he was able to do it and on his way out he through other the site by the way here's where the Soviet submarines are I know you know it it it is is still going on world who knows because it was a top secret the thing back then that is only been released when the we know when the the statute of limitations ran out this may still be going on I don't know dean Raden is doing some wonderful work out at the nomadic institute with the same kind of idea remote viewing and that's theoretically a ferric travel when you staying within this reality and I think that's what our listener experience was he's actually saw he said that that projection from his own body I'm I'm I think it was real well you know I I've asked the dames Paul Smith David Moore house who were all part of the government program to years ago yeah that is it still continuing and they said they don't think so because one they're not part of it and two they really think that the U. for we're still on going they'd be doing that because they were one of the best our area yeah those those resumes and I believe them I don't think I don't think those are some really really high powered names I I I I would tend to agree with them let's go to Chris truck driving in Tennessee welcome to the program press Hey good evening this story pleasure to speak with you tonight thank you Sir are your benefits here and the metric from month but it is yes great in their first time caller to so welcome to the program yeah thank you I just wonder if they are with you what something that your gas that that that really struck with B. R. I really enjoyed music I've dealt with your choice of my entire life astral projecting get everything out.

"More stimulating talk and welcome back to coast to coast George nor with you Jim Wallace with us Jim I want to get your take on something we've been doing this and tension experiment to try to slow down and push off hurricane Dorian and now some weird things are starting to happen then meteorologists are scratching their heads sand we're not so sure it's going to hit Florida it may just when you think of that I appreciate the fact that you're doing it because of course we would have been right smack in line you know yeah Carolina if they're gone up there so I I think it's fascinating I'm I'm really a light like you say you'll never get credit for it but strange things happen you know what if if we could save lives that's all that matters to me yeah that's a level we're talking about obi's let's get back into that before we go to calls okay we were talking about techniques and things like that to be able to do it yeah what I what I use is is meditation and in my meditation I use hemi sync develop by Bob mineral and it's a it's a you can you can your check out exactly what we think is online it'll give you the definition all that kind of thing but basically it's it's consistency the method that I that I use is out every day you have to find a time every single day and you have to make the time and then it has become the most important part you just can't try to fit in and it doesn't work in my case I believe it or not it was at a time when I was most relaxed and yet awake and it happened to be are you ready for this three o'clock in the morning we're still up yeah so and and the key consistency is to develop and I go to a lot of this and into the book which will be out like I say in December but the key is consistency over law over time bill Gilman says that you have to do it for thirty days half hour a day for thirty days with the with the intention and I have to say he's right because with me my first OB happened after twenty eight days if I had gone twenty seven days and stuff that would have made it and after you do you develop a fluency and that and you develop short cuts and you've got the techniques and it's all a matter of practice keeping journals and a lot of the journals that I have kept over the years made it into the new book I talk a lot about this in use of the supernatural gods is well there's some some of my Beezer and supernatural gods and it's I it's going to get to me a lot of people would kind of I think it's one of those weird strange you know will will things I I don't think it is I think the problem is simply that we have five senses through which we experience the world and those five senses are are are wonderful because they make sense out of things but they do filter out a lot just take for example white we can see red orange yellow green blue indigo violet we know there's a lot of lights above and a lot of late frequencies below that that narrow range we can't see them we know they're there and I think it's the same thing will be is our five senses filter out our experience of the reality that with their release around says it's all around us other worlds other entities spirit guides all of their their we just have we just can't use them anymore because they've they've atrophied Dennis and the idea is to wake him up to do an end run around those five senses and experience the reality that that surrounds us that's that's the key I think to obese do you find that the more you do these types of things that the more psychic and intuitive you become yes and it that's a that's a blessing but there's also a curse really messes up your your your dream life your dreams become so vivid to enter the garden is much smaller between this reality and the the other reality and dreams become much more vivid nightmares become worse even good dreams can sometimes be very disturbing and yet on the other.

"With you Jim Wallace back with us after graduating from Eastman school of music Jim became a high school band and orchestra teacher during the week a symphony trombonists on the weekends a jazz musician of night and a choral conductor on Sunday mornings the author of nine plus books on religion and spirituality he's been an ordained minister for more than forty years while working part time as a wood worker handy man and professor at the fields of world religions and instrumental music Jim what a very background welcome back well good to be talking to you again George you always make me sound so interesting I I by the way I want to formally invite you back in October when lost civilizations officially comes out all thank you thank you very much is always a pleasure to be with your schedule with Lisa and then we'll get that taken care of we've been doing the last year rating or two pretty pretty much writing I've now got well as of lost civilizations of becoming out next month and then and then in December I have a book on out of body experiences coming out and I just finished a book called hidden histories which I just turned into the publisher invisible ink last week and I've got another book about obese it's in front of one of the publishers so I've been doing a lot of writing that's exciting stuff will be easier fascinating yeah it yeah and and it's a something and I had never ever expected to happen to me so it was quite a it was quite a change how do you go from being a musician to an ordained minister I you know I don't I don't know he was calling I guess I it was a funny kind of a thing yeah if I had known that I was going to go into ministry I never would have gone to music school but as it turned out it was the best thing I could have possibly done because you know music and the church were so tied up together on the other hand if I had known the direction my life is going to taint change when I left ministry and retired under the woods and began to experience all of out of body experiences all that kind of thing I wonder how that happened either so gets these things just go and they kind of take over for sometimes hi Jim I owe you some thanks because as I've been reading lost civilizations by advance copy that your publisher sent us I'm reading the acknowledgments can you shed some of the kindest things about me than anybody server sad when you thank you are you you know that was that was hard felt awhile back was I don't know how long ago was go that we did we talk last but for years I'm September to be honest when we talk that time you know my wife and I came out here into the woods in South Carolina and we were kind of going on a retreat from the world we were going to get away from the world we hardly ever use clocks we don't know what day it is I have to ask my wife went I do know what day it is and she said no but I think it's March and so we were we're kind of sheltered out here when the when the sun goes down we go to bed when the sun goes up we get up and we just been living that kind of life so as a result with you being out in California in three hours behind us I wasn't as familiar with your work as I as I would have been because I you know it's just my I'm fast asleep but then all of a sudden when when we talked about two hours into the conversation I think we were just about ready to close and we've been talking a long time and you said to me I gotta ask your question Jim and I said what's that and he said you said do you honestly really believe that we have been visited by aliens ain't you know ancient aliens or aliens even now or you know if you ever and that there George there was a passion in your voice that just really so I've got to get to know this man he's a real he's a real seeker after two hours of talking you can still have that excitement and that passion and so unfortunately you did something bad to me you got me hooked on guy a TV and I started binge watching and you brought all these wonderful people into my life that I wouldn't have had I wouldn't have known about and I started looking at your website as I listen to your programs and you just brought all of this good stuff into my life and I really appreciated it and so that's why I had to put you into the acknowledgments well and now here you are on this program again you're gonna come back in October and when these other books are done we'll have you back again well thank you I appreciate it I really do I also want to thank you before I forget you were so kind to give me back cover blurb young my out my old B. E. book when it comes out in December they they put your your words right on the back cover of the book I just got it yesterday so I could take a look at it so I appreciate that too let's talk very briefly about lost civilizations will spend a lot of time on it in October when the book officially comes out but tell me about this with you because the subtitle the secret histories and suppressed technologies of the ancients that's pretty poignant yeah yeah yeah I am I I had to visit a man one time when I was in back in ministry I got a call in the middle of the night and this guy really wanted to see me I could tell he was really upset so first thing next morning I would see him and he was telling me a story about how his father had died before he was born while his of just about a month or two before he was born and so over the years he had built up this picture in his mind of whose father was and he he didn't you never met his father so it was just you know pretty much all it is made of things well when his mother passed away he went up into our attic he was cleaning the house and he found a bunch of his father's old journals and in those journals he discovered a man he never know who was there in and never knew was there a totally different than the image it builds up in his head and the kicker is that his father had died he found out of a disease that is often passed on genetically so he had to go and get himself tested for this for this disease I said how did that make you feel and he said it made me feel like I didn't know who I was and that's exactly how I feel about lost civilizations I think there's a part of our chapter that apart I chapter of our history that has just been left out yeah it's gone it's just we add when it went where as Graham Hancock's likes to say were and people with amnesia and the act and what really bothers me is that some of those lost civilizations are just lost to history as we begin to look at them and look at the mythology and look at some of the archaeology archaeology that's there they may have had a disease that we're showing today they very well could have been showing symptoms of some of the same things I was just hearing that I was listening those news reports at the beginning of your paper the beginning of your show we just think that we're immune and we're in the top of the heap and nothing's going to happen and all of this.
