"That is a Bloomberg business flash All right Charlie thank you so much So Shopify out earlier today saying that Black Friday cyber Monday sales hit a record 6.3 billion climbing 23% compared with the same period a year earlier So Tim let's get into what's going on when it comes to the shopping trends that we've seen so far early in this season Harvey Harley finkelstein is president of Shopify He joins us on the phone from Ottawa Harley great to have you on the program today So take us through the data here And really why we're seeing this dichotomy because Carol and I were just talking about the data that we saw from Adobe showing that cyber Monday sales were kind of weak here So how do you reconcile those two things Great to be on the show And it is quite remarkable I mean I think what you were seeing is that Shopify merchants really outpace the industry at frankly these astonishing rates and they continue to do so through the entire weekend We know that consumer spending has stayed strong but I don't think the FCM was simply just a measure of consumer confidence It seems like it was also barometer for consumer interest in supporting independent brands and entrepreneurs and we think that that support is stronger than ever for the entire weekend So from Friday to Monday we saw about 6.3 billion sold sales on shop plans but 23% growth as you mentioned And about 47 million consumers made a purchase from a Shopify merchant during the weekend The other thing that's really interesting is that average cart size was out from about $90 to about a $100 globally And when you look at where those sales were coming from of course we had the big names that we always talk about here companies like all birds and bombas and Jim shark and Brooklyn But we also saw some new names emerge the nugget for example our place for example And then some traditional retailers at new Shopify like LEGO Mattel spanx dockers But I really relative to the numbers that you were mentioning earlier from the industry industry wide It feels like this is a tale of two different retail worlds On one side you have traditional big box stores then you have direct to consumer Well let me just remind our listeners of those numbers from Adobe So U.S. shoppers spent $10.7 billion on cyber Monday That's according to Adobe less than the $10.8 billion a year earlier and that mister Adobe's estimate of $11.3 billion So Harley it sounds like the analysis that you're providing is it's because it's a different type of shopping happening You're saying that Shopify retailers that use a shop to buy platform outperformed the industry and that's why you see the dichotomy in the divergence with the data from Adobe That's exactly right Yes I think Adobe's first only looking U.S. were Shopify as a global platform We have more than 1.7 million stores across a 175 countries But what we really did see is that consumers unequivocally voted with their wallets this past 40 weekend to buy from independent retailers and their favorite brands And some of these brands have now become really incumbent If you look at companies like figs or all birds these are stores that started on Shopify just a couple of years ago and now they're publicly traded companies And so I think you're going to see more of this happening where the future retail really does belong to these independent direct to consumer brands as opposed to the big box retailers In some cases that aren't really adding any real value Yeah it's an interesting we talk about innovation as you know Harley so much in so many different industries certainly in technology We've seen it in retail in a big way What does that mean then you think for the major retailers that are out there versus many of those that are on your platform Is there something more significant going on in terms of the retail trends I've been a student of retail ecommerce for the majority of my life And I think one of the major changes that have happened here is that a lot of the retailers that were reselling other people's products simply weren't justifying their profit margin So I'm sitting here right now in Canada wearing my favorite T-shirt which is James perse which is a Shopify store Years ago I was able to buy and Jameis first T-shirt and Barney's for example and I never did And the reason was I didn't feel that I was getting any a better experience and it was certainly more expensive buying from barneys Whereas when I go to James first dot com powered by Shopify I get a much better experience I know that the money that I am paying for is a vote with my wallets that I want more of those brands to exist in the world I think that the other thing is that the big box retailers for a very long time they had an unfair advantage because they had distribution And the reason that we were able to these big box sources because they were in our cities But the Internet has completely democratized distribution so that today I can be sitting anywhere in the world and for $29 I can set up a store on Shopify and I can sell online I can offline I can sell on TikTok or Spotify on Instagram And I can be default global in a matter of minutes That's where technology is driving this really incredible innovation in commerce Carla you mentioned all birds the company just reporting earnings a few minutes ago by the way figs also a newly public company as to people to organizations that you Shopify is platform How do you make sure that these companies as they grow don't graduate from Shopify's platform and they're able to keep using it It's a great question The challenge of being able to make it really easy for any brand or any entrepreneur business to get started on Shopify And then when they get to some sort of scale they continue to grow that is really what shop would make Shopify quite unique So for example when you're just getting started you may just simply want to set up a very simple online store and sell to consumers But as you grow you begin to wanting to sell across a variety of different places channels I mentioned Instagram and Facebook but also you want to sell across new channels that emerge we announced a partnership to scale with Spotify so artists on Spotify can open online stores on Shopify and sell merchandise This idea that you can sell anywhere you want across every geography is really important but also scales important Jimmy Butler recently launched his new coffee line big face coffee on Shopify Kylie Jenner launched highly cosmetics on shop.

"I'm saying? I should have been more logical about it where it was going, but I was just like, dirty. Multi level marketing bullshit 'cause that's really what it was. Was you go out there and you find a bunch of really popular people and he hooked him up or he did it, he was one of the first to do it on Instagram before. Now everybody does that. Yeah. But when you're the first. I mean, you wouldn't be able to do it and not have good quality stuff though. The people that I know that were at they like it and they talk about it, they like it, it's nice, but unlike not that big of a fan. Yeah, 1.3 billion, but this is a year old. The years pass. You know, I don't feel so bad. You were giving a profit. I bet on the right horse. I thought they were hired. I mean, still kudos that's impressive. That's crazy. Yeah, yeah, and it's a young kid, so kudos to you, but you know, it was the better horse. You know what I'm saying? Because I remember when I was debating Danny about it. They're looking at it. Four years ago, when we were first starting to work with the Ori and he was like, oh, Jim shark does owe Jim shark test. I'm like, get out here with that MLM bullshit brand. I don't want to do anything. And then I was kept telling them what the Ori I said, you watch, you'll see what happens. Vori will be. But I actually didn't know that. I thought they were. "Special look back in 2020 with Jim Shark. Let's take a couple of minutes to talk about how voting demographics changed in Arizona. And let's do that with Katya, our political analyst, Dr Mike O'Neal. So first of how how did it change? I mean, everybody was talking about the blue wave. Mike. It was that that was a big part of it. Right. Well, there was a very selective blue wave at the presidential level. Yes, but I wouldn't call it a wave. If you look at the baseline in Arizona Republican and Democratic vote. What Joe Biden and Mark Kelly showed is the right Democrat can win. And that hasn't been true in this state for the last 10 years. Before that, we had a lot of ticket splitting, and this is really a return to ticket splitting. Run a good Democrat against a weak Republican and the Democrat can win. But if you look at the down ballot stuff, the Democrats experience pretty much disappointment across the board. They thought they had a chance to tie or go ahead. In one or even both legislative chambers and that did not come to pass. They gained one seat in the Senate. Both houses are now Republican, but only by a single vote. And that will change the dynamics because all the Democrats will have to do is entice a single Republican to defect in either chamber and they can stop legislation. But this still felt way way short. Of their high high expectations going into this election. So would you say, and I don't mean to disparage any of the winning candidates. But would you say it was a good Democrat? In the case of Joe Biden? Or it was a really weak Republican in the form of Donald Trump that led to Joe Biden winning? Oh, this vote was an anti trump vote. I mean, Joe Biden was considered to be acceptable, and that's probably why he won. He was an acceptable Democrat. He was offensive to absolutely no one. But, as is often the case Aid incumbent running for re election for president of the election is a referendum on their performance in Donald Trump was a uniquely flawed candidate. And that almost nobody. I mean, I mean it. This isn't a negative on Joe Biden. But the focus is Donald Trump. And the question was do we want for more years of this? And at a national level? The answer to that was no, Mike, And we're talking with Dr Mike O'Neal, Katie, our political analyst about the changing demographics in the 2020 election. I guess what I'm getting at is this portends pretty well for the Democrats. When it comes to state wide offices. Kirsten cinema Kind of set the bar on that. And two years we're heading into a race for governor, secretary of State and three other if you don't count the state mine inspector, three other statewide offices, you have a Republican party that is at war with itself. Right now. Witness the tweet storm back and forth between the party secretary. And the governor, you know, with the coded obscenities in it. This is not a healthy situation for the Republicans to be in. So we're pretty close to a 50 50 state where maybe still lean a little bit Republican. And finally, I think this puts a kind of a frosting on the top of this cake is we look at how close this election was. Dr Mike O'Neal. You had a stat as to where Arizona stands compared to the rest of the country on how close the presidential election was here. Oh, yeah, This is a pretty simple stat, But we were the closest election of the gun to Marge Presidential margin was closer in Arizona than any other state That's based on Robbo total. If you did it by percentage. Georgia is a little bit closer than we are because it's a bigger state. But we were the closest election of the 51 in the country, so 2020 didn't necessarily bring a blue wave, but it sure set us up in T too soft to be a purple state for a long time to come well for the foreseeable future. Absolutely. We're gonna have real elections here, where the outcome is not predictable two years in advance. That has not been the case for the last decade, and a big part of Arizona's shift to a kind of blue state was the Latino vote. Let's talk with Katie Ours. Gabriel Gamino and Katya ours. Nyla Allione about these changes. It will start with you, Gabriel. You talk to voters at polling places on Election Day and throughout the election season, despite the saying that all politics are local presidential election years are always more energized on with the name Trump on the ballot that made it even more so, didn't it? Yeah, I know Without a doubt, one of the main things that I heard while talking to voters and polling locations in Maryville, which is already ah, highly Hispanic area was that they were voting against the president. One of the voters that I spoke with a first time voter was doing it. He told me for his family because they weren't eligible voters. And so his family told them. You have to go out and vote on our behalf and He was frustrated that his family wasn't being treated fairly or in a respectful manner by comments that the president made it well now and it almost came down to the point where if you were running for dogcatcher in Arizona, you had to say either you were for or against Trump. I mean it really almost not literally, but almost got to that point here in Arizona, didn't it? A lot of it had to do with the fact that the president made and I immigrant comments and this stemmed from in Arizona 10 years ago Senate Bill 10 70. That was a very anti immigrant climate. And so people didn't want to have to go through what they went through in our state for four more years. Very interesting, not legally own. One of the biggest changes we saw was among Latino voters. There was a lot more Latino stepping up and deciding it was Time to vote. Candidates from both parties had to pay attention to the Latino voter, But your family especially paid attention in this election. Yeah, I think this was a really big year for my family because it started off with my co worker who would just tell me. Hey, have you voted this year and I'm like, No, I'm not even registered, and she's like you have to vote. You have to vote being in news and I was like, Well, yeah, it's just Family doesn't really know too much about how to vote. And so Taylor taught me and then from there on, I push my family to vote. So it was pretty amazing to get my mom because she's the only one that speaks English well, and my dad speaks very, very little English. So it started with my mom, she said. Then she got my dad's Kato's for sex in pest control. I've hired these guys, you should hire them. As well. Listen, they've been in business since 1960 right here in Phoenix. Family owned and operated 1960. They know what they're doing. They're going to come to your house. Get rid of the termites Get rid of the scorpions, The bees, the bugs the rats Yuck, 602 to 54 pest, and by.

"Look back in 2020 hosted by Jim Shark on 92 3 FM on the APP and on your smart speaker. So Jim Cross has had a very busy year, And that was even before he was named to the Arizona Broadcasters Hall of Fame. One of the reasons gym is so well known and so respect that is because of his knowledge about wildfires, and Jim Cross isn't just Katya, our senior news reporter. He's our wildfire expert. Really. He's the go to guy in all of Arizona media when it comes to explaining wildfires in listenable terms, an area of expertise we really don't want to have to draw upon. But we Have had two this year. Jim let's start with our weather here because that's kind of what determines what kind of a wildfire season we will have. That's determined by our weather situation, and we found ourselves in quite Weather situation This year We had the two hottest seasons we've ever had. And two of the hottest months we've ever seen in Phoenix, starting with July the hottest in Phoenix history when it Yeah, I mean, nothing should surprise us this year, but this really did. It was the hottest and driest summer. In Arizona history was one of the weakest monsoons we've ever seen across the state flag staff had the worst monsoon they've ever had. We shattered pretty much every heat record imaginable. Pretty much the only two still standing. I mean, I'm sure there's more but The two that really stand out. There's still in place, or we didn't reach the hottest day we've ever seen and grace that 1 22, and we still didn't reach the warmest overnight low, but we only missed that by a degree and 95. So everything was on the table this summer. You know, we've had the hot summer We've had the warm fall the enormous fall we've had. So, uh, it's it's been quite a year whether wise, I noticed the hesitancy and you, Jim Cross do not want to call it the hottest. You just called it the warmest on him. I'm gonna call it the hottest cause when you have average temperatures in October and November. Above 90 degrees. That's just hot. It really is for anywhere else in the country. But of course, that all drove some pretty dry conditions right And that was preceded by something that happened over the winter, Jim We had to really good winners back to back and that grew up a lot of brush and weeds across the desert East and west across Arizona, and firefighters were really worried about this year going in.

"Brought to you by Valley Toda dealers. I'm asking you, Will you be watching McSally V. Kelly? Tonight. Let's see a ha ha! Funny question. That's a hard no. Be? Yes, I watch. I have no life. Or a sea only if both the take flight and have a race in the sky. I do that. That would be awesome, because you know they haven't trained for awhile, right? So they haven't been up there, so I think it would be the vomit Comet to or what? I remember that game after burner in the arcades, we'll sit down and see which one goes the farthest level. I think I think they should put that game in the middle of the debate stage. Well, somebody had to have to have two of them. You're gonna like this one thing? Yeah. Yeah, dude, What do you scared of a girl. So Kelly's not? She said that I love It was pretty funny, actually. I kind of like when she talks about that like that. I know it's weird for a senator to talk like that. Well, because it's so honest and you don't She's so scripted and on and she's not that way. We had it not matter in this studio. She's fine dog, and she's great. The microphone comes on everybody. I'm a robot. What was Thie when she was at the state of the Union? She was laughing. She was being funny. We're talking about all of those things you've taken. Somebody got a great sense of humor. She doesn't know how to use it when she turns it on. And that's because she's she's too careful. Come on, dude. What do you scared of a girl? Well, All right, so a couple things about this debate tonight. I was listening to our Arizona's morning news. They had somebody on from fivethirtyeight polling. Yeah, and that that, experts said Kelly has an 80% chance to win this election. That's it, That's it. Ah, saying there's a chance Yeah. Let's see how about this one. There are still undecided voters. We see that somewhere in the range of 6% of the electorate is undecided. But in the most recent polling, are you making fun of this guy? 2 50% or even a little bit over 50% in the polls, which means that Martha MacCallum doesn't just need to win over undecided voters to likely needs to win over voters who have already made up their minds for Mark Kelly. Good luck trying. That's not there not washing about either she had any chance to because there are a couple of poles out there that have them close. All the other polls have, I think are away a little bit closer than the polls say, But I do think at the end of the night Ah And it's funny because I think, Trump you know, here in Arizona, you don't know. And I think the Poles were tightened up. Trump may win and I still think makes Alistair gonna lose interesting. All right up next the NFL should they push the pause button? What's on the 2020 season around first vice presidential debate of the election season takes place tomorrow night in Salt Lake City here for the next two days for the debate, and I want to thank people of Utah for being so welcoming such a warm wife told me I was headed back to the White House. "I think those are the companies that I looked to for inspiration and it's not a surprise to me that those companies that have the DMZ for the. Tend to also be the companies that survive and thrive in and are the most successful in their category. So hardly we're nearing the end of the show for today but are able to share some closing comments or any takeaways that you would like to leave with our listeners. Today I know most people that are listening tend to be those that are entrepreneurs and people that are in in sort of e-commerce world. But one thing that I I'm beginning to see that I'd like to share that as it's been really exciting for me as I've been self identifying as an entrepreneur since I was a kid in the story Intel was I. Think you know is that when I was thirteen years old? I just wanted to be a DJ I didn't know how to be a DJ hire me, and so I started my own company and hired myself I don't really talk with that story because the company was not that successful. But when I said to my friends and my family I want to be entrepreneurs start, this business will certainly not well respected certainly wasn't well known. It's kind of a weird thing. One of the things that I believe that it's happening right now is more and more people are considering their own version of entrepreneurship more people right now are considering commercializing their hobbies and Starting a business more people now are thinking about for those that have been unfortunate laid off how they can take something that they loved passionate about and build a business around more people. Now, that may have worked at a gym back to Jim Shark story are now thinking about how great content and create a set of videos to help people working working out at home to do a better job of that. It feels like more and more people now are trying had an entrepreneurship and I think a world with more entrepreneurs. A world with more independent businesses is just a much much. Better. World. And I'm inspired to hear stories from folks all over the world. Both are working with shop if I but even people that are sending me a note on social media saying pages, senior I. "Line for free. The models are getting paid. Some of these people are not but you know the other side of that is. They're building their following in their brand and their youtube. I'm channel so that's a plus for them. Not Shooting them now. That's a plus for them. But the hype piece I you know. I think there's something to it you know like I said. I don't think that they would be able to do what they're doing. If they didn't have a product that worked so then the next question is what about all these other. Legacy brands like Nike. Like Adidas well you know I think they have their farm talk to you know. I still own Nike Stop. So it's not like I'm walking away from Nike. I own Adidas stuff too. So I'm you know a a lot of times. What I'm looking for is a certain bit you know Certain cut and sometimes Nike's putting out a lot of that and sometimes they aren't and so I think you know right now. Jim Sharpe has hit on a look in a style and a deal. That certain people are going for. I don't think thank you know they're necessarily going to take too much from the legacy brands but I think what happens is New People. People were starting especially younger. People are more excited about some of the new brands and sure they get Nike. They're like Oh yeah yeah yeah definitely. But they're also venturing down these new roads to see what these other companies have and I think that's a good thing. The third thing is okay so we got Jim Shark. We've got our legacy brands and we've got like everybody else like everybody else doing like fitness stop and some awesome have been doing it for a while right. Victoria's secret you know. Some of the brands have stepped out of their original niche right. And they've sort of expanded and say. Hey We've you've got this new line of fitness gear and so if you've already got People who are interested in your clothing line and you're just going to add something something different it works I think. Four Victoria's secret it does actually own a couple of. Victoria's secret fitness attire. I think it works because think about it. You've got women who are coming in. They're poor Brian Bras and lingerie and they wanna look good with what they're buying and what they have on. So so what better place you know. I can't think of a better place to sell fitness clothing. That you know the looks good to say. Hey you now now and so get your workout on so that you can look and feel good in your underwear and you don't necessarily have to be trying to look good for somebody else right. It's all about Oh you looking good for yourself and feeling good about yourself and buying things that look good and make you feel good and that's all up to you. It's all individual Joel but for somebody like big four brands. Like Victoria's secret I think You know that's that's an easy had for them. That's an easy. Add some other brands. That's a little different and then you've got like everybody. Everybody can do their own brand now and so I have actually actually. I designed a couple of hoodies. One was like a real sweatshirt Hoodie when I was running for office and so so for the fall I had this campaign buddy that had mine you know running for office stuff on the front and then I did any bent with a friend of mine after that and it was. It's a T.. It's a long sleeve. T shirt with a Hoodie and the logo is on the front and we used custom ink. You know 'cause we could just do the design and order it and they come and show up and so now everybody can do custom clothing right. You can have have your own personal clothing line now to the extent you've got to get out there and sell it or license someone else or put it in stores yourself. NOPE that's entirely up to you but it just speaks to where the world is going in terms of. Hey everybody remembers all the legacy team brands. And then we've got these new hip brands and the one I'm really looking at. I'm just telling you this is Jim Sharpe. I'm looking at Jim Sharpe. You know and when I order my first piece I will guarantee you. I'm going to be on this podcast talking about whether or not I like it. I hope that lives up to it. I'm like salivating being as I sit here and look at this like I love the flawlessness long-sleeve crop top. Like first of all there ought to be a law against having a piece of clothing that has six words in the name of it okay. Flawless knit long sleeved crop tax. I get it again it. I'm just GonNa Hassle somebody so I love that. They've got him burnt orange and blue in in washed lavender. And I I would take all the out. I'll take all three so you know you. Just let me know and I'll send you my address so that you can ship us is to me more than likely I would probably need a small. But I'll take any of those colors the Brent the self branding K.. I think that's going to continue to develop A to. I think people are going to like the opportunity to put their own message on their clothing. Like hey you know I got something I want to say. I'M GONNA on t shirt and I'm going to wear my t shirt like that's the thing for all of these years. We've worn everybody else's logo everybody else's design and so essentially we have been advertising their products and they haven't even been paying us at additionally you not only have they not been paying us but we've been having to pay for the privilege to do that like we go buy the product but you know a lot of that's changed a little bit with like influence our relationships with brands and that sort of thing but I had to make the joke. Because yeah you know you got the Nike Logo and everything and people see and they're like Oh that's cool you wearing under armour. Whatever it is? You're wearing you are essentially essentially advertising for someone else. So I'm just letting you know I am ready to be a billboard for Jim Chart because I think there's steps oops cute I'm hoping that the product is going to live up to its reputation. Like I said I've seen tons of people talk about different products on youtube in their videos and most of them have been good in so I see no point with waiting any longer a hate a Mr Sale. Dale hate him as the sale. But there's not anything I can do about that so going forward. I hope you're able to find workout clothing. That works for you if you haven't tried it low free to try this and look. This is not a sponsored post by By Jim Sharpe. This is just me talking about. Hey there's been a whole lot of hype about this and even I have fallen for it. I have all import myself so I'm GonNa get me Assam. I'M GONNA get mine. I'm going to share it with you when it comes so that will both know whether or not it's worth all of the me even talking about it and then we'll move forward into twenty nineteen so keep building holding your goals and trying to surround yourself with people who motivate and inspire you to achieve your health health and fitness dreams for this year. I'm here with you. This is Shayla and don't forget to come back sin..

"Been following Jim Shark for a while now and I'm just wondering like what the deal is. What the heights all about? Yeah I can and figure it out yes so let's just take it from the beginning on the Jim Shark website. And if you've never been it's yeah. Yeah it's Jim and shark and they're a little logo is like sharks head so I actually like that and you know the price point is probably a little bit higher Um and then I would typically spend on leggings and sports bras laws but I remember when I first started hearing about them. It was the seamless leggings. That caught my attention. You know because as women it Sorta like Mike you know the less seems you have them. There's less of an opportunity to have stuff rub up against you and to shape your skin and to get raw especially if you're one of these people who is engaging in some type of endurance fitness activity so if you're running for Mouth House last thing you want is to be in a pair of leggings or in the Sports Bra is just not working like that is the worst thing in the world that that is worse than the actual exercise that you don't like like having bad gear will take you to a whole `nother level enough about that back to Jim Sharpe so on the website. Yes there's Whitney a follow her some So they've got mostly high waisted leggings and that I love and I think a lot of women like that to the whole idea of the waist portion of the leggings going up to your navel going up to your belly button right because sometimes we carry a little bit of extra extre love food love below our naval and these leggings. They do like an awesome job. Bob Covering up in just not talking about Jim Sharpe leggings. I'm talking about just about any kind of how waste lagging now. Different ones who a better job than others will give brands. You know some brands a little bit of credit on that but yeah when you head to the site the first thing that pops up today because we know websites are dynamic and change all the time we've got a couple of models that got on the high waisted leggings. They got on sports. It's bras so let me just say this about sports bras like this is like strength training and Yoga. Sports Brock attire. Okay this is not like high. Hi impact running. Because it's a low cut the and it's going to be hard to keep just about anything in there all right so let's head over to the women's portion of the site because that's where I'm GonNa go and let me tell you last year when they were having your black sale or whatever it was called like you couldn't even buy anything by the time I got there everything the thing was sold out so when I say what's the deal with Jim Sharpe and that's what I'm talking about. Like things sold out so fast. The the moment that the sales started like people knew I mean everybody was sort of like you know Jim Sharks GonNa be having Christmas sale and everybody went for and they got what they wanted. I heard some people on Youtube saying hey I went. I couldn't get this. I couldn't get that and so it. It obviously speaks to them them really putting a good brand out there but then also having a good product because you know you can have a good brand but people get your product and your product sucks. Now there's an easy way to tell the whole world it's called social media so yes I'm pulling up the first women's paid and there is so-so cute cropped top and high waist leg. No let me just say this. I wear this sort of stuff to the gym and the gym owner looks at me. He's like she look. You put some clothes on a have clothes on. And I'm like barely showing just sliver of skin there because the high 'cause I'm short waisted and and so the high waisted leggings are like they're like highways in this like what you call water when it's at the high level as opposed to like the lower level right like that that'd be me so the crop top really cute long-sleeve it's got the little vented polls all across both in the Crop top and the bottom and and then like the pingers and and that which is oh so embarrassing to now. So I'm as I look at going on you know the leggings are really cute and not all of them are high waisted you know. I don't want everyone to think that they're all highways but most of them are and they just looked really cute. So when you look at things you can get things in orange in men green in camouflage rush you can get all kinds of stuff and so I'm just letting you know I have been wanting some Jim Sharpe like I'm one of those people that I don't go to live Nike's website and go look at the sports for look at the leggings. I don't go to Adidas. I don't go to any of those sites I go to Jim Sharpe and I look and I go. Oh what do they have on sale. Or we're having my price range. So yes so. They've got a lot of Cammo up here now really cute. So they've got the camel long-sleeve crop top. I would totally take take that like the black one so they have it in a pulse SORTA car. Actually it's called lavender gray. I mean that's cute. The may have an insane degree but they have the Blackman. I like the black one. Oh my gosh. The black is so cute. That's solely to die for so. Yeah then they've got a regular like take uh-huh Cross it. Looks like a crop top to me. But they're calling a sports bra and I guess possibly it is but I'm totally in love with with what they've got out in twenty nineteen. It looks also cute and I don't know maybe I need to put together some sort of wishlist. Surely there is a website or an APP out there where people sign up and say. Hey you know here's what you can buy me Hinson me. I think it's called patriotic. And there's some other things out there too but yeah this is what she has on her wish list. This is what I'm going to put this together and put it on facebook like this is my wishlist for twenty nineteen. Okay so let me tell you what I don't like. I don't like the cycling shorts like I used to wear those When I was running during the summer and I just got away from those like I never liked the way they looked on me so then I went to skorts? You know the little skirt over the short. Yeah I did that I tell you I have worn just about every cl- fitness clothing trend. There is out there so I did that but now I'm a leggings girl and it took me a while to get there too. But that's that's sort of where they've got some long vests I'm not sure I'm not sure who told them that. That was a good idea. I'm sure they probably did some sort of focus group testing but I'm torn. I'm torn like I said I'm short waisted and you've got this long best up here. That goes down like pastor hips almost your that so I don't know it looks excuse. It looks absolutely cute in the pictures but I'm not sure we're going for it. So what is it about this brand that has has people like counting down to when they put something on sale. You know I mean the prices aren't overly ridiculous if you think about it but I don't really want to spend thirty dollars on a tank. Okay or fifty thousand dollars on a pair of leggings For most people who are watching cutting their finances that you know that might be a little much. They're probably looking for something in the twenty or thirty dollar range and so you know once you get up here you're talking about. Oh I you throw in a few more dollars and get two pair if I'm someplace else so I really like it I think part of the high was the brand the style and the image. You know a lot of times. What you're really selling is a lifestyle you know when you're a company that's what you're selling you're selling? Hey where are fitness attire. And you too can be healthy and fit like these women you know and I'm like okay. Okay Yeah I wanted to you know and we like fall for it but the other side of it. It's like I said before. Sorry it's gotta be a good product it can't just be you now get some stuff that looks good and people look good it in it but does it really work. I think when they started out with that seamless leggings in the beginning. That was one of the things that really Sorta I got women interested. I know that was what got me interested. In the fact that their models their models are on youtube they're on instagram. And they're wearing the attire. And so you're seeing these women workout. You're thinking okay. They're working out. And I like the attire. I want some of that hat now. You can go to other people who were on Youtube and you can look at their channels and they're like I got my gym Shark Dark Hall. This is what I ordered. I'm going to try on. This is what I liked. This is what I don't like. And so you've gone from the company and its website and its models to other people like other people are now basically hawking.
