R. A. every picked up that gave the other night we talked about six of the thirty give up two runs four hits he did walk four with five strikeouts but as I said he retired the first seven batters in a row and I think that gave him that confidence in that field because he's a real the picture he has all the pictures you go from eighty eight to the low nineties a good curveball did not overthrow the other night a touch lighter which I thought was best pitch in a changeup when you look at what he's got to get both sides of the plate left handers to forty six all right handers to seventy five or seventy all rights patients by the tiger hitters looking at that take the other day you know mac will gladly talk to you you talk to me about his hitters once and so many bad pitches they have to be patient they could get the ball over the plate the simplest that aggressiveness specially with the fall as early in the lineup this is a ballpark that yields home runs as well as any in baseball outside of Texas this year it is played to a lot of home runs in five games between the Tigers in Yankees this year nineteen combined in five games five in the two playoff games but two pictures tonight limit home runs and extra base hits but the other thing that you think is a heck of a match up the Cougars no one knows going to try to do the Yankees know what this is going to try to do this is going to be quite interesting pretty tried all hands on deck Jackson Kelly anyon anything goes into deciding game five in the first round the wind up in the.

"Dickerson and Jim price on ninety seven one the ticket to one. So we're gonna fly ball field deep trouble gone. Six minutes at three one shot and just like that. The pirates have taken the lead. Eight seven Dan. It was that three run Homer. The seal the deal for the pirates says they rallied from six run deficit to beat the Tigers eight seven and split that two-game game series starter. Jordan Zimmermann gave up three runs on five hits in four innings. Nick Ramirez allowed five runs on six hits. In one in the third innings in relief of next. The Tigers have a day off before they head over to Cleveland Friday to open a three game weekend series. Matthew boyd. We'll start as he looks for his first win since may twenty eighth when he takes the mound against the Indians. The NBA draft coming up tonight and the pistons getting the fifteenth pick. It's fancies the pistons senior adviser he says he wants to get a wing, but like to have a wing, we need a numerous positions for depth. There's no question here, we need to get the talent. Keep getting into town better depth. If a wing was there. That was, you know, we felt we had the best upside. Yeah, we would take that. But there's numerous guys. Still in our mix in various positions. So, again, we'll go with best talent pretty much Stefanski making the selection tonight in a second raft with Detroit. Meanwhile, the Red Wings, have these sixth overall pick in this year's NHL draft. That's coming up Friday night from Vancouver news. From the league says the draft will return a much real next year for the twenty.

How are you man? You're you're taking the world by storm, my friend. Good. How are you? Happy new year. Happy new year. Jim so talk, it can you can you give us an overview of what you did in Africa to start to start Leone asset management. Sure will initially I was invited by the government by the central Bank in the stock exchange to come over and assist them in developing their stock exchange in Sierra Leone. I went there. This was in two thousand thirteen. So I went over there on that invite. And then I wrote all the other testing procedures all the, you know, the questions the training materials everything needed for people to become licensed similar to what our series sixty five would be as a financial advisor. That I went forward and interviewed several hundred people hired twenty that we're all commercial makers for the most part of MBA's. And then train them got them. All licensed. And then started. Introducing investment banking financial advisory to all the citizens in cereal cereal. When you went from when you went from investment banking to determine the fact that you wanted to run a public company because you and I used to work for public companies. Several years ago, and you decide that you wanted to be a CEO. What made you take that leap there? You know, I couldn't pass up the opportunity. It was you know, we've had this discussion before and do you don't you with the risks the rewards? I mean, that's a tough question to answer. But you know, honestly, I knew about a company that had the rights to these products that they were invented by Dr Cade. I'll be in better Gatorade. And I was able at her eight years of negotiating eight years. Control those products and these products are phenomenal. And I really felt that they needed to be in a public company, so due to the fact that I had so much involvement with leeann asset management Aston and in west Africa, and they own subsidiaries small corporations over there. And then what is able to get control of Dhaka kids products? The dole little mesh together kind of just made sense. So I took the opportunity to take over the company. And lead down the road. So my question would be this. You know, when you go into a space. Into beverage. It's highly competitive, did you know, what the time that you're gonna have to swim through sharks are now because face urine urine a ton of stores now and some of the biggest retailers in the country. Did you know it was going to be a battle to do that? Because I know it wasn't easy for the beginning. And now, it's obviously doors are open because of the fact that the the products popular, and we're starting to see it everywhere. Yeah. You know, I never I was able to get control of cholesterol, number one. And then the other products, but just just cholesterol alone that I needed three to five years. I think it's three to five years from the time that I was able to acquire it. I would be able to do go with the thing. What's the product? In developing the packaging to getting additional clinical studies completed getting the retail space branding advertising marketing, and then start to take it international. Three to five year period that I would have been come along and we'd have two hundred million dollar a year revenue company, and then somebody like a Nestle or would come along and make a very large acquisition. Hey, jim. So as the public company in we're seeing we're seeing that we don't we never talk about stock price for numbers and such like that. But as we're seeing what's going on in the markets today where we saw sort of a sort of a rough last quarter of last year. Do the bigger markets affects you as in decision making with respect to how you're going to run and how you're gonna roll out products, or do you try not to look at that doesn't that doesn't affect me at all? What I care about is our company are subsidiaries and the opportunities that come our way. It's either making acquisitions or just developing Jamie's partnerships. No, the overall market the only way that has access in the fact that we're raising capital to expand our operation. So a lot of times if there is that disruption in the market a lot of people their checkbooks checkbooks tighten up. Well, what's interesting? There's several art affect I'll have a guest on with us on Friday and talk about the fact that checks put checkbooks have tightened up. The last four months is most the economy's doing checkbooks across the country and businesses have have gotten a little bit sketching because of the stock market. And I think I think most CEOs should should take a page out of gyms book and just not pay attention. Because as I told you earlier in the program today, if you take a look at it taking fifty thousand foot view is just a snapshot Jimmy here. Let's talk about pharmacy Africa because that's a lot of stuff happening there for you. Sure. So, you know, at this point we have about twenty to twenty two hundred acres of lemongrass had biscuits. Coffee. Green tea. That we're growing right now, we're actually finishing a new processing facility and Kono which from a lot of people if they were watching me blood diamond they had no that name. We have a large. Agriculture property there as we're finishing a new processing facility where we're going to be making turning the lemongrass into the essential oil. Complete by the end of the month. Once again. Jim price. CEO president we.

"Jim price is the CEO good friend of the show a good friend of ours. Really great guy, and I can tell you speaking of which if you if you get a chance to take a look at a chance to take a look at them. He's one of those guys that doesn't sit still as a company you just heard when we first met him. He pharmacy Africa. He had he had the cholesterol is a company he had he had really said he was going to head down the next road of acquiring more. Is a holding company. And that's exactly what you did. I don't want to go down the road too far on on on some of the new stuff. But I do want to talk about what you're doing because you're heading back down to South Africa next Sierra Leone next week, right? What's going on down there? A lot. So, you know, you're exactly right. Unfortunately, the CEO of public company. Right. Downtime. But yeah, so amend back next week. We you know, again, we have the agriculture project is. Very underway. And we're gonna start doing some some harvesting lemongrass are making these central oil early. Add several other licenses permits we're trying to wire to be able to do different products along with some. Probably signed some mental used to acquire some other assets as well, James. I have to ask you for how difficult is it? I mean, you obviously were set up one of the first investment banking cultures down there. And you have you have obviously extreme experience in that area. But if you were to go down there without the context, such as you head right now, what you're talking about how tough it is to get into a grocery business down there, even as a as a as an agricultural benefactor to that country, very difficult. So fortunately, I was invited by the central Bank and the song change to come in the minister finance investment, banks. I did that and because of the the laborious effort that I put into it along the way as able to make great context within the government and that opened up a full array of possibilities to me. And it took years to beers and a lot of artwork sweat a lot of suffering physically and mentally to tool to endure that type of lifestyle, but now foresee because of those relationships were in great shape, and now I can walk through. Anything I need to you're going to see a really great story about Jim Bryson in his story as well as that of Leone asset manager both on TV as well as you to America is we've create a busy mentoring. So so you can see sort of exactly how he how he did what he did over. The course of the last decade lets you get out of here. What's what is your favorite part? Are you are you are you most passionate about cholesterol right now with all the new stuff? How are you feeling? Boy, that's a tough question. I don't know how to answer that other than I can say, you know, we have investors in our company cheryl's company. The love is because of the cluster eight and then other investors lowest because of what we're doing an Africa. Yeah. The whole thing about having a holy companies diversification. And so we are very diverse and. Because you can't talk about it. Does it make sense to create other public companies out of that is that is that on the radar without without the tip in your hand too much? But at some point you've got Leone asset management is an umbrella, and you've got the heart healthy companies on this side. But when you start talking about mining and something like that is that is it ever cross your mind to do that. Or is it just better to keep? And that's just that's just fulfill. Softly speaking does it. Yeah. No. You're you're exactly right. So yeah. So the idea I think most people would have an holding company a lot of cases. Anyway, they would like to develop a subsidiary developed a fully. And then at some point spin that ours is public entity benefits shareholders. Heads of the company that also gives a lot more, publicity and access to the. Cholesterol dot com. Leeann asset dot com. Go epic dot com. Of course, all of them there. We'll put them on our website. But it's it's very simple to Jim. Thanks so.

In the, sixth meanwhile buoyed allowed six hits walked. One and struck out six, following the wind manager Ron Gardenhire talked about a, players only meeting. That was held recently I think they even had like a little. Team meeting amongst the players talk about finishing off the, season which I really like. I I don't I. Mean it's great when coaches talk about it no manager talks about. It but when players get together and talk about it I, like that I like I want them, to understand what they're trying to do we got some good leaders. In there. That you know we gotta finish this season we're gonna play hard the rest of the way they've. Done it up to this. Point, don't quit. Now game. Two is tonight first pitch at seven ten on ninety seven one the ticket the lions down south for a preseason effort versus the bucks tonight linebacker Devin Canard talked about how game Number three is another chance, for, the team's. Because I love Gatorade welcome. To the program Jim price CEO of, cholesterol, talk about this because I want to save lives, and I want to get off the statin drug that I'm, on so we're on the same path Was invented, by Dr Robert, k. the same individual who created Gatorade Dr Cade those people know the story of Gatorade invented by himself for the. Football team at university of Florida The. Year that he created Gatorade they went onto win the. Orange Bowl Steve Spurrier won the Heisman Trophy, the rest is history and had a little bit to do with their players though income it's a little bit It wasn't all Gatorade it and. I'll tell you that PepsiCo thought. Enough of it to spend fourteen billion dollars to get it so it says a lot that's as time says, a lot but anyway Dr Cade, invented, clustering this other product cluster aid it's, an all natural digestive aid Dr Kate, himself was on statin drugs that. Most people in our age group know that if they're taking drugs the side effects can. Be dishonest horrible horrendous Camps like crazy I mean foot cramps and Catherine Rams the, other night I. Was at my through my wife a surprise party and it was really hot and I was perspiring. All day and as, seriously it took me forty five, minutes to get rid of. My foot cramps I was, afraid to get in the car because I didn't want to cramp up on driving this really serious. Stuff and I've been told it's because of the statin drug. That I, have to take because my heart attack you're absolutely. Right so the stats are about. Only. About fifty percent of people that have cholesterol can even take statins the other fifty percent the side effects, are like you're you're experiencing or, even, worse When Dr Cade invented this he invented. A product that was all natural hunter percents all natural he needed enough of Sandra himself so he went forward took. The product himself cut off the statin drugs he can he completed a case study in that case study, on average the. Participants their LDL or bad cholesterol was reduced twenty one point nine percent HDL is up about twelve. Point nine percent triglycerides. Down fifty percent and this is only an eight week period That's fascinating I have your brochure here I assume. This has. All been confirmed total cholesterol. And eight weeks down seventeen point, nine percent, LDL levels down twenty one point four HDL. Levels down, or up I should say that's the good, cholesterol twelve point nine percent age. D. l. c. l. d. l. c. ratio The good the. Bad plus forty four percent of the triglycerides. Down fifty percent that's just magnificent yeah I, haven't heard of this well you. Know I've known about this product for. About ten, years it took me eight years to get control of it Leone asset management it's a little, public company that I'm the CEO other we own the product we own the, rights of, several products that Dr, Kate created outside of the the gator Gatorade. World in this. Product, we just took it to. The, market about, a year ago right now we're at about five. Thousand locations where in all the Rite Aid stores nationwide About. A thousand independent pharmacies and small grocery store chains this fall. We have meetings with CVS with law greens with WalMart I call them the big three Combination about. Twenty five thousand stores between them Each year to know this industry each year. The stores look at each category or skew it's in. The store about once or twice a, year and in the fall is the. Plan a grand period for the digestive aids so we have meetings this fall, and we're anticipating being in all those stores clinging to. The end of the year is fascinating story this. Is it for those they can. See us it's a nice little package here it says Seven grands grams of soluble fiber so you're. Going to tell me I'm to lose weight because. I'm gonna have increased fiber absolutely. Come on So everybody needs fiber doesn't matter if you're, in our age group of the. Fifty plus, market or if you're younger if you're an athlete the four or five thousand calories a. Day you need that. Much more, fiber on average we need about twenty five. To thirty five grams of. Fiber a day as an American we. Don't do it you know we don't eat predominantly a plant based diet we fast food process food we're on the. Go all the time, so we, never get, enough fiber and that fiber or the lack of the fiber. Causes incredible problems with our health not just the. Cholesterol blood pressure blood sugar weight management issues, causes a. Lot of a lot of problems so, you're telling me that I'm gonna. Lose weight I'm going to get off a statin drug my cholesterol I've never, really had problems with cholesterol but. My cholesterol will remain low and all I have to do is. Drink this, of the taste to me it. Takes just like Gatorade lemon Gatorade must have the same sort of components a little. Bit better you know Gatorade has a lot of sugar this only has two grams of. Sugar.
