But i think the biggest king exactly soup more effective in watch big jab king head so real quick super chats supermax says do the film study so we can address this cap. You doing next. One from joki. Two thousand five says next. I thought keen on the first round and the first half of the second round. You're the one who the l. In influencing the judges was a close fight. See the round is over. Y'all you tell me the mob and one that because because of uppercut left hook at the end of the fucking bell come on man. Oh big man go back and watch. I'm good i'm good. I'm good i know that. Oh big jim lob. It looked at one way on camera. Looks another way you know marvin. I scored that first and second entered. Probably for you love. I mean but you know watching it on tape. I'm like whoa. That's second that's a competitive. Fight it really was. Did you watch the second round. I'm making all this hoopla. what did you do. I have at least an argument for all. You have absolutely i mean look in from the rick this i mean i was in agreeance even before we talked about it today that it was a it was a good fight it was close and you the movement and activity that he Came started off with in the first round as you can say you know You know solidified the round for him. It was the movement and You know tank tank has always been a forward fighter and and posted a wall type of five or so and this camp you got to see sorta imports which style when he when he saw my meds but he switched his style. And and you know you didn't get to see the traditional marvin you. He played into kimes game. And i'm he s success. He asked excess. What you've got to give the champion you know in order to take the belt you gotta beat. Beat the champ. You know what i'm saying. You can't just touch them up. Even though some of those jazz were landing I can see where some of the judges from the visual. Obviously a could've said that you know Tank was just more effectively in the more punches. I hate this like this like boats on my own. Marvin gotta be to give my respect. He got my respect. Can't act like you know because we diminished keen when the fight was over. I thought marvin beat the shit out of king. You know what i'm saying. I was crazy. Takim like after like oh man but now i'm watching my wait a minute. You just trying to make the point that it's a that it was competitive. It's also the people got marvan three. Oh like matt. I can't even believe that supermax at three. Oh that means he's truly biased. Because there's not keen. Don't marvin watch. The first round is a waste of two minutes. You lead marvin dough. Nearly land enough punches. He dome it looked like his game. Plan was let keam dump his low which worked but whatever. Whatever i'm the cj ross okay. Yeah trip in their came. I'm bringing you on some bullshit. Because i know people in the he showed the fight to to have said the same thing. I've never watched it until this morning. You know what i'm saying. But i wanna hear how you feel man. I had you first round and second round all ghibli. If you don't get what those two big is right hands at the end you know who knows if you ain't winning that fight brought to is only three rows is a race the to go the second round man fucking all you second round. Let's equalize. At some more of these super jets. You've got Marcus robert johnson came back pound for pound list or subjective That's the hashtag by the way. Hashtag pound for pound list are subjective in luminous p coming through a says you're right they are biased and the list is b. s. Go you go. i don't know about b. s back with another one shot out. The is robert johnson. Yeah you guys got to follow this dude on instagram. Let me pull up his instagram. While you read a supervisor let me stay in line brandon. Marie said he knew he was a three. Division champ. In sixteen fights hashtag beast. There you go. There's your stamp for my man. Inoue and marcus roper. Johnson comes back and says i fight does not put you in a particular place. It's the accumulation of career matches hence gondolo is number one again. All pound for pound list are subjective. Good point and mj Dimitri clark says i agree with ness mel deserves to be on this list. Call you nobody. Nobody super mario migra mario. I mean i think that like what what would they agree or disagree with me about. I haven't said that. Mel doesn't deserve to be on. You know the only case that i've tried to make is that there is continuity to the pound for pound list. If you've been on it before then you're looked at favorably as you move forward if you've never been on it then you have to do something that catches the attention again. I go back to. Let's see the last fights that these guys had i- ohka was one of the biggest wins of the year pound for pound okay Astrada one of the biggest wins of the year pound for pound commercially. By the way. And then you have mel who beat. Rosario it was a great win. One of the biggest wins of his career pound for pound. Speaking though where. Where's rosario on that list. You know where. Where are you going to argue that that that beat nagai. Rosario would get something because that earlier had made the point. I trying to a real quick. Let me just make this one last point. I'm trying. I'm trying to prove without a shadow of a doubt that you know. Somebody deserves to be on the pound for balanced. But that's the point that i'm making. Is that if you want to have that argument then you have to put that argument against nilo. You have to put it against the guys at the top of that list for you to argue that you know. Well this guy is better than the bottom. Ten or or the bubble. But that's all subjective. Those guys can be interchanged. Moved out to say that somebody deserves to be there then then then you have to at least try to make a case for them at the highest they can go say desert arguing. That was this mona's argument. Do like i'm now. Argument is kim. Arguably one the second round and i'm not i'm past that list man because now even salmon uk oh calls controversy. Get a rematch. Classic like people really think this is just some gain to shit on. Marvin like watch the fucking second round but by all means watch the first one and try to give it to marvin. Then you know if there's some sort of question especially supermax. I honestly like you know. I'm being straight up from this point on. I think supermax will be in. My eyes is bias. I will now reference check anything he says.

"How about that. You're gonna be fine. He's going to be fine. Let's start one cool things. I have two one cool things this week. The first is a delicious cookie is the oreo thin of those. If you're not tried the oreo thins they're good and they're so much better than their crispier. So just you owe it yourself to try oreo thin. Even if you don't really love oreos you'll probably love oreo thins. They are terrific. <hes> the second is a thin book. It is monstrous creatures young adventurer's guide so it's by the people and what i like about it is designed i sort of young middle grade readers and they're smaller books hardcover but there's like all the cool illustrations of dragons and albers and all this stuff basically artwork that was there's probably had sitting around and they found a good way to repackage it and right some new tax. It's written by jim lob. Hold on it's name is i think jim's is in the monster manual. I think the face off a crimson gyms there nicely done and to me. It feels like if i were a six year old kid who was komo obsessed with dinosaurs also obsessed with these books because it's you know it's dragons and cool stuff. There's other books warriors and weapons dungeons entombs so if you have somebody who wanna give this kind of gift to who's not really ready for actual d._n._d. It feels like a good starter thing you round the corner and see in the room a giant sub. <hes> what do you do so is one of the things we were like. Your story russ away. Probably that seems like it's definitely like well listen. You had to cool things. I'm i'm gonna. I'm gonna give our listeners a break. They deserve to things outside and have one. That sounds good credit. You allocate behalf pet on the oreo thins so you also create their good right eaten them so all right. Yeah script is produced by making a row and edit by massive shelley. "The music, professor Djimla Barbara comes in usually once a month in relation to a little Willie. John who you mentioned we were talking about king records in the anniversary of the date of birth of Sydney, and the founder of king records J B said I was at a place. I never should have been met Willie much later than the fifties. It was around early nineteen sixty one. So you're chronology was a little bit off of early. Sixty one said, if my mother ever found it I was there. I would not be here today. Please clarify. I'm not that old. Okay. There you go. Jim just so you know, and Paul Brookville called back in your ties with king records. Paul tell me about that. Well, I played in some van back in the early seventies. That were probably known around town there were three clubs in county inner circle round up in the guys and dolls, and I played in a band guys and dolls, and so a lot of these really good names around town, Troy heels and Lonnie Lonnie back in and ended up. I ended up playing in a band that we found our way to get run Grayson to play drums for us. And we became pretty good being in that band. And he told me a story is Ron had done some work with James Brown Sunday some work for him and wrong got into a bad car wreck playing with toys heels and even in the hospital for quite a while. And I asked him I said, we'll get you have insurance for that. And he said, no, I didn't have insurance. I said, well, how did you pay your hospital Bill? Hey, James Brown made it, and so I thought that was kind of a really maybe people don't know that that he he was a, you know, he did try to help people help around a lot benevolent side for people. He was fund of his problem was James Brown did the cash thing. So James Brown would give you cash, and so he didn't have receipts. So that's what ended up doing him in with the IRS James Brown. The pay. And that's what he was great. He was like that. You're absolutely right. Paul faking. Okay. Well, let's take you mentioned choice seals. Yeah. Troy, Troy, of course is a hall of Famer songwriter a Grammy award winning songwriter. Troy Murray joining camel who's this beautiful blonde. A buxom girl who was always on the bandstand shows. She was the girl from Wolverton mountain and those days going back in the fifties. There weren't many females in rock and roll. Join Campbell was one of those. And I mentioned we're going down the Nashville gets the music for bench usually in the middle seventies. Toy was one of the guys we we had breakfast and sat around talking, but choice heels look at that family. You've got Brady seals Brady seals and you've got in England, Dan and John England fills in cross. I mean that whole family was so talented, and Troy was perhaps the most talented of the mall while Jim in Florida yet a question for Jim lob, Barbara. Question. But it wasn't big money. Then even as it. I said I was going to customize myself and before that I had w beat into what press. So I need to be of what was going on beyond what prison studying plug on everything. And before that all like after it finished Cetinje top than I found out that it was gymnast was up. Then I said, I was going to set you talk myself that was actually what's would see much my entry into redvelopment because in the process of setting setting things up sometimes to customize things, and you know, you have to look at the books or Google or something I remember it was going. To Jim lob forum day to find. Okay. Audi in studies. Plug I want to do this lugging page. Like these I want to move these from year to year Allen to move this dead's dead. And that was really how I got used to. Okay. This is what code ease. What could not? I would say I didn't have before grabs or what I was doing. I was really copying from the internet. But it was working for me and things like that. But that was really our T stand from really Remo about what programming is unethical. Our though are people going to totally making money out of it. I'm in Cincinnati on a special job, captain. How can we help? You do have a handle the narcotics dealers sunny wilbon, we've had you know, where I can put my hands on them at the moment. No. But I'll put a couple of my boys to checking with him. But we're more interested in a guy. He's been dealing with lately. Big Jim lob bond, a Canadian, you think he's in Cincinnati to who's just a tip Mahdi's have been looking for him on three warrants cases. It picked up a boatman who's been running smugglers across the Detroit river their information is a big Jim made a deal with sunny and came to Cincinnati. Okay. We'll be on the lookout for them. Both not. He's almost got their hands on this big Jim last week. He saw them coming and ducked out of a bar. They couldn't shoot the kind of the crowd. But they did get a girl. He was with. Oh, how does she think you in it here? Well, they had no charge to hold her on the Corning the boatman big Jim just took her along. When he smuggled in the narcotics. I see. Excuse me, a second. Stephon ask mayor and stuff to step in here right away. To my best man on this kind of deals. Good. We don't have too much to go on Kevin. But the Canadian authorities doing a little further checking on the girl if they find out anything we'll hear about it. They want lebatard and want him bad. But I don't feel like going out and drinking staying up all night again tonight. I do. It's time with that out of Cincinnati. Sonny's friends are good people. I don't care for.

"Now. What's this about night? Because I didn't get chance to read the papers yet all the jets are making a run a Jim Harbaugh right now. What did they don't? So last night on the subway. I was checking my phone Johnson actually knows who Jim. Okay. Pro football talk reported that some team is going to go really hard after Jim Hart. Okay. What team? We don't know. They now reveal the team going hard after coach Jim Harbaugh would be the New York Jets. Okay. And their plan is but first of all take solace. This plenty of go. You have to Jim Harbaugh. You no longer need to be worried about keeping that word anymore. Anymore right after yesterday's classic balls. The Bockel I'm not considered pulling Adolfo. Remember when the dolphins went after a coach while I think Tony's Parana. We still have both going to be gone, right? Hey, maybe we got today. I don't know it should be. So the jets are planning to go after Jim Harbaugh try to lure away from Michigan. And they're going to try to make him an offer he can't refuse and pay him. Maybe seven eight million dollars a year. But and this is something we've talked about for awhile about the mcalinden situation. What I've said to you is look it depends on the coach, of course, a certain. Right, right. You can bet your you know, what Jim Harbaugh is going to want power. And to me either Mike McCann is gone or he's going to have a very limited role. If they convinced Jim to leave his quote unquote dream job of Michigan and coach the jets, but they're going after him. So what saying you bring him in? Let me bring them in. But you want Mike McCarthy? Well, look, look, I told you before we we've talked about four different coaches the two Harbaugh brothers. Mike Tomlin Mike McCarthy if I wind up with anyone of those guys is my coach jump thrilled. But I I'm looking at a McCarthy from the aspect that he's ready out there. Now, if you tell me that Jim will take the job, of course. Of course. I want him. Well, which only well, I mean John's dot com, and you know, Jim or Micah who you going is my only my all my biggest concern with Jim Harbaugh is this go ahead. Okay. We saw we saw what he did with Alex Smith. We saw what he did. With Colin Kaepernick. We can only imagine what you could do with Sam Donald no doubt about that. My only concern Jim lob war is that is he is he really committed to stay in here. And and being a coach and his team for the next ten years. That's one thing. I'd be concerned about well. I think you have to go in thinking the answer is no to that. Track record is there and look you can look at each individual situation and say, well, the circumstances were different right? He left college to come to the NFL because it was the NFL. He left the Niners because the organization and now maybe he'd be leaving Michigan because his true dream is to co L in the NFL helps you can't beat Ohio State. Is a big reason. But I think. Yeah. Much like when the giant the jets hired Bill Parcells living you knew going. Hey, this is probably not going to last ten years. That's the one. That's the one concern. I add because if he comes here and similar to parcels winds up three years doesn't get the Super Bowl. Then is that really what we want? As much as I love all one. That's fine. If they bring all we're here, I'm all for it. But that would be my concern. Three makes me queasy five is just fine. You know what I mean? Like if you tell the guy's gonna come here. Coach for five years that's half a decade. Bowl championship. Ultimately, that's what it's all about. Of course. Here's what intrigues me about Jim. And you kind of touched on it. The history of taking up my time either bad quarterbacks undeveloped quarterbacks and getting the most out of them. Now, I'd argue that the best of Alex Smith was with Andy Reid, but Alex Smith was a draft lost. He was a disaster number one overall pick and look at what he had done in the first few years flying, turn them around. You did turn them around. And Colin Kaepernick what to a SuperBowl. Now. I think we mostly agree that the reason Colin Kaepernick doesn't have a job as his talent walked on the league is blackballed him. And they'll never admit it. But there's no doubt about it. To me. That's not even the point. Because if cabernet did get a job, which he deserves. I think the odds of very low that he'd ever match what he didn't say versus go under Kim horrible. Right. So I think it's safe to say that horrible got the best out of copper, Nick. And he turned Alex Smith's career ran that's his history with young quarterback. Now right now that look like saved daughter leads to be turned around. Now, it looks like Sam just needs that right to take it to the next level right now, what will help that is not just coaching. But having more talent around them. Maybe you had the whole kit and caboodle, Tom self. Maybe he would stay low. See that's my one concern. Mccarthy comes even McCarthy. I could see him being at ten years. Yes. That's the one. That's the big difference. Now, I'll take either one I'll take either one. But that is my concern with Harbaugh. Even of you. Tell me was the coach I'm standing on my head. Well, you know what? I mean. I mean, I'm thrilled. I'm standing on my head to in for anybody listening or watching who's not a jet fan who wants to nitpick car-bomb McCarthy, Alex is very Wigley nitpick though accounts. They have to understand where a fan base is coming fry. This fan base has been fed first time head coaches for more than a decade. So the idea of bringing in a head coach who has experienced getting Super Bowl in Jim's case or winning a Super Bowl in Mike McCarthy's case is such a four cry from anything we've seen in the last decade. No question that you can't blame a jet fan for looking past any of the nitpicks on these guys to say. That's it. You could you could nitpick these guy forever. These guys have both big time coaches, you can say whatever you want about him. I if I wind up with either one of these guys is my head coach, Bryan, you notice I'm thrilled. I'm thrilled. Tough. Not to be by only console like, I said the one thing McCarthy figure McCarthy is gonna he's not going to be look at the run away. You always going to be concerned about that with Harbaugh. That's the difference in two guys. I don't care about boys. Overall. Maybe the better coach. But a baby I'm not saying he definitely is. But maybe it's close. But that's to me. That's the one caveat. I don't think you'll care much about this. And I won't because ultimately it's about winning. But if you look at the last two jet head coaches, we have seen a difference in the way, certain fans and media treat them God. Rex Ryan succeeded here in the first years and most people couldn't wait to get rid of a couldn't wait because he was loud. Not really the jet fan. Not jet fans rock fans in general, right? It angered giant fan patriot fans Iraq's is a big fat or whatever you wanna say Todd Bowles has been here for years. He's done nothing. And it's gotten a free pass for most of the time. I think a lot of it is the attitude that bulls has compared to Rex I see similarities between the way McCarthy would be handled and Harbaugh. Jim Harbaugh has got a personality that takes everybody off. Right. That's right. Jim Harbaugh Pontius. I think we'll be right. Of course. He's a cloud. I he's this. He's that. I think McCarthy has that you know, that different even keel too. Yeah. Right. So I don't know if it bothers you but just prepare that have horrible is the coach he's going to be attacked the everything I really long as he wins. The I really care what the media thinks who gives a damn and certain fans. Well, yeah. But I mean, it's all about winning Super Bowl. That's all the cats. Matters to me. That's all I'll take you. Wanna you guys is the coach either one either one of these guys, and I am thrilled as a jet fan. We'll get more to the giant game coming up plus the rest of the week sixteen eight seven seven three three seven sixty six sixty six Nick in Staten Island, kicks it off. Hi, nick. Exam Christmas unique Mary Christmas, bro. Okay. So couple of quick things. We keep them liking MAC. Right. I don't know that if Jim comes. I don't know. If Mikey MAC is staying here. I don't know. I don't know about that. I don't think it's a given by any stretch. You gotta say who those over there got nice coats outlook, Jim Harbaugh is being pursued realistically, and it sounds like it is. But it by the jet off by ownership of the jets that's above McKinnon's. Macaque neutral. Absolutely, no doubt about it. When you read a report that the jets a gonna go full court press to get Jim Harbaugh that reeks of way above Mike mechanics pay grill question about it. And so and this is what we've said for a while about the future of McCain. And it really depends on the Khanna coach they get if they're hiring a first time head coach. Yes, they still may. I think there's a better chance is sticking around. But they getting established guy who's gonna want. Power or to bring in his own guys that I think he's in a lot of trouble. No question about it. Ira is calling from Staten Island. What's up by? Hey, how are you? Good Ableson yesterday. Just every year right now, probably the perfect scenario. After the game real frustrating. But a man and a great feeling so we have a quarterback forward Dakota. You're just go out there. I'm either one just like Joe, I probably would prefer more stability a longer run because you think hanging around longer, but if they could really give up on I'm all for and whatever happens gonna happen. But you know, I wanted to you guys brings credibility and a really bright future. Which is a quarterback forward. No question. Thing. I certainly don't care about at all is how much they spend together. Okay. There's no salary cap in coaching. Anyone? I don't care don't matter especially when you're used to being a fan of teams in other sports that don't spend a lot of money. So it's refreshing to hear at team potentially say we're going to go out and give an absurd contract or coach adamant Staten Island. What's up, Adam? Hey, guys. I couldn't be happier. Jeff han. Yes, they seem Sam played great. And then lose so we keep grant hydra spot. And I have to tell you the other bright spot is we finally got a tight end after God knows. He looks good. Yep. Yep. That was already looks really good on a lot of levels. One of the great catches you'll ever see. Could you clock back play touched a party to it? And he sort of guy coming right? Adam to fact that not only bringing this one handed catch in he is bracing for this contact. He's about to get right now. The jets and the Niners are both foreign eleven reason San Francisco is three and the jets have four is the tiebreaker strength of schedule the winning percentage for San Francisco. Schedule is five oh four for the jets at five eight it's microscopically close and that is similar to the giants situation. The giants Detroit Tampa Bay buffalo. Jacksonville, all five and ten the giants and the bills strength of schedule winning percentage is exactly the same. So it's very difficult to figure out how that's going to change over the next week. But right now, that's why the giants are at eight. And the jets are at four, but we'll see what happens on the final week. I can figure out a way to win tonight. Raiders Winton is would probably is good for the jets. That is correct. Because the jets would have the tie-break Ron Oakland, and they would jump to three if that happened. It would be very damaging. Win for the Oakland. I could see that too. Because I don't know where the Broncos all right now. I mean, they could be melanin into. I agree with you wouldn't swinson me. Now, the raiders apply. Hard Anthony is in Harlem, Anthony, how are you? Evan. Good morning guys. I didn't want to go to work this morning. I get in the car, and I get an early Christmas present Joe and Evan on them in the morning. Unbelievable. We appreciate you. I just wanted to say to all your listeners. Everybody say merry Christmas to all the military personnel. Amen. After work today. Absolutely. Amen today. I mean, then this is like the second Christmas present Jim Harbaugh. I would I would do a backflip. Like you say Joe if they got Jamal and Mikey MAC, buddy. Whatever he wants him at the head coach. Yeah. Hey, look, like, I said, I mean, Jim Hall, blah. I'd be delirious. If Jim would take the jets ya. I'd be delivery coach the ballgame you'll need it. Come on. It's a glorified exponentially news the last eight they've got destroyed. He is the one thing about. You got it. They're not that. I care. I'll take him. Anyway, of course. But not only did they lose the last eight this year in the year was supposed to finally beat him. They got killed in a game that the great part is the great part is doesn't matter. No, it's good for us. When I'm judging a head coach, not especially when the NFL coaching experience. I don't care what he's talking to college game. Why can't no, no? Oh. Yeah. I think they should let him go. Michigan come on. You know, what I never forget higher balls. A buddy. A buddy of mine meta girl, and they fell in love except he met her when she cheated on her boyfriend. Okay. And I remember saying I said look dangerous game. Well, I said, you gotta keep this in mind. She cheated on her boyfriend to get where you aren't you gonna worry about right in the back of your mind, and he's like skull doesn't care. No, I agree. You got to take that into consideration. When I said, my friendly advice fun. But understand that this very well could happen. You gave me that advice about women that not that same situation. But you gotta look at things can happen. You never know. So what I would say about coach Jim Harbaugh is the same thing. Like you said if he's always thinking about his next job Michigan's my dream.

He said I didn't really put that on the message. And he said of all the guys in my leather helmets. Dave's my favorite. Yeah. I do. Remember? It was a nice moments. They're doing the math on these shows. You know, it's like one eighty or something if you went to five year that's like thirty six years of going to five shows a year to get like this math is insane. And a two hundred chosen average ticket price over the years. Obviously, it's got up, but let's say, it's fifty bucks. And he he always is right next to. He is. I dunno front row. But he's always pretty closer. You know, sometimes they set CD on the stage. So it's cabaret style. And Jim we sends me pictures of him just like right in his face all the time. While while he's singing, I think Elton gave him the shot out this shut him up and get more. Tally possible, and he has an unnatural attraction to use. I'd be careful as well. Giving him a shout out. No matter what I can say right now, I've done almost ten thousand shows on the radio. I think over the years pretty sure, that's right. And I haven't even been all and. You would enjoy them. What good for Jim? We like, Jim lob. You'll be beyond the talk preview the John shows 'cause you see them. These farewell shows, but also just to talk about getting his shout out from the rockets. Bill store, it's pretty cool. With his life when he actually true where does he go from here? Yeah. Melissa McCarthy movie any good it's called can you ever? Forgive me. It's true story of this kind of two bit writer named elite Israel a rather unpleasant despicable kind of person her greatest town. She was being able to forge personal letters of very very famous writers. And then sell them to autograph. Collectors Melissa does a terrific job with the she could get nominated for an Oscar at this jazz showing that she is just as good with drama as she is comedy. I don't think the movie is as good as her performance with this. I it's a little bit slow paced. But still I think it's still very much worth seeing. I gave it a c plus being over all the movie on MTV throughout the morning as well. On channel nine you. Gotta give me an update on Megan Kelly. Okay. So today could be the day when they officially dropped the bomb on Megan Kelly NBC that is. There's been a lot of talk that she is going to be fired is about to be fired. She is not officially been fired by NBC yet. But they're saying that today could be the day that this happens in there could wind up being because of hurt black-faced comments from the other day could be a settlement for her on the remainder of her three year contract of somewhere close to fifty million dollars. I don't understand this. And maybe this is the reason for me to go yell at Steve Mandel superagency meadow. But I didn't write a book I've been fired a lot. So I know a little something about this. And at twenty five million a year for three years. She's got fifteen months to go near as I can figure. She's do around thirty two million dollars somewhere in there. Thirty one thirty two million dollars. So are she going to get fifty don't know? Maybe there's a bonus structure they are unaware of. I'd like to see the contracts if I can go over, you know, me and my specialty of being fired and dismissed. Plus, also, if if you were at doesn't depend on the circumstances of why you're being fired out, if it's just, you know, randomly, we're firewood 'cause you don't get as Steve is hurt. So many times we've decided to go in another direction. I've heard we decided to go in another direction. I've also heard get out. But if my point is if there's if there's something where you have violated ethics rule, or there's some grievous thing that you have violated, then you can be more easily fired for. Yeah. Oh, absolutely violate something as opposed to. We just don't want you around here anymore. Yeah. And then there's mitigation of severance and all this will be in my camp how to get fired can triggers reading in our office. Please. Are you on radio Sunday as I am with Gerard Butler? The other one is the Saudi foreign minister who's asked by Brett Baier about the role the Saudis played in the murder of dramatic Shoghi. They've now admitted that yes, they did murder this contributor to the Washington Post, which one does ask why does a guy who was a part of the Muslim Brotherhood or support Muslim Brotherhood. Why is he writing for the Washington Post? We'll we'll leave that aside. Just just for the moment. No. I'm no fan of Jim lob Shoghi, I don't think he should have been murdered in the consulate there and the embassy there in Turkey, and I think the Mohammed bin Salman might be the dumbest man alive. You know? Now now dumbest man alive. Tell me. "My arsenal. I'm Lawrence, Yvonne. You're listening to midday live before we had out to Jim Roope. We do have some breaking news on the Saudi Arabia situation. According to two sources, the Saudis are preparing a report that will acknowledge Jamal kashogi death was the result of interrogation that went wrong when that was intended to lead to his abduction from Turkey. So the Saudis might be ready to come clean on what they did to Jamal kashogi this just moments after the president said he had a great talk with gang and denied any wrongdoing. Let me just translate that's called murder and interrogation of a person for the media for what reason is murder, and it's all spin is now spanned hairs if he died, I mean that sounds good. Yes. It's murder period. Now, what would the president do? That's the big question and coming up in less than an hour from now, we're going to talk to you, Matthew Brodsky. He's a senior fellow insecurity. Studies group Middle East and geopolitical analyst, and he will be talking about Trump's reaction to the Saudi Arabian announcement. That's coming up. But for now, we want to head out to Jim Roope. Jim lob, Syria, Jim Roope. Joining us to talk about some new standards that require kids in school to be taught about LGBTQ in history. And I getting that right? Yeah. Yeah. You're absolutely. This was a Bill that was passed seven years ago. But it took some time to implement the school books had to be edited written that reflected LGBTQ contributions to political and social aspects of our history, for instance, now it again, this is seven years ago. This has been seven years in the making parents are right now actually reviewing the books that will be implemented in the fall, given a majority say, okay, these are, okay. There are a lot of parents who are upset about some of it. Because some of it gets into the second grade, seventh graders don't really need to know particulars about sexuality, according to some parents. So that's that's an get into the particulars about sexuality just does it say that someone who Georg right, or if you know something else had a contribution to history in some way. Yeah. By particulars. I mean, if they talk about Jose Julio Saria, which is one of the care the subjects in in one of the history books. He was the first openly gay person to run for office. He encouraged other people to run for office. This is back in the forties. Also talks about how he admitted the people he wore women's dresses and liked to do that. And he liked to pre to listen. If you're in second grade, if you're in kindergarten, if you're everybody at this point, especially in California know, someone who has two mommies or two daddies or know someone whose brother is gay or sisters, gay or uncle or I mean at this point in time in twenty eight teen I don't think that you should have to to shelter kids from what they see all around them in real life and top go ahead. You I think a lot of people would agree with you. I I think there's it's it's a real minority of people who are. Very upset with us. It doesn't get it. It doesn't get to the point where it it's real questionable. The the issue comes in a lot of people at least the people with whom I smoke, and I can't say I mean, I've only spoken about fifteen twenty people on the subject, but they say kids that are seven years old while they may understand it. They may be able to articulate. Yeah. Okay. I get that they still process it differently. So it's still a sex some a little differently than it does fourteen year old. So perhaps these kinds of things should be talked about later in the grace like it's okay to say that Jose Julio Saria was the first openly gay person in in the history of California to run for office. That's okay to say to a second grader, but you need to say that Sally ride as to greater Sally ride wasn't on lesbian who had a partner for twenty seven years with us something that can wait. What does that have to do with her achievements though? Question. That's another question. That's I mean, we don't talk about the sex lives of any of our let me let me give you a good example of that. Because I agree with Lawrence. I'm Dr king Nobel price. Nobel peace prize. We knew he had extramarital affairs. Everybody knows that. So I mean, I mean as you brought up on the history, and you don't put that in the history books. We talk about the achievement that I understand that. This law is is nothing more than a guideline Elise of two local schools to implement the contribution. So is like what is the appropriate book or lessons, but I see a separation of achievement versus personal conduct. Jim. Can you hang on over this break? I'll get your answer on that. Right. When we come back. We gotta take a break, but that's Leo, Terrell. I'm lawrence. Von this midday live. KABC has dependable traffic.

Did he just say that one guy went on three days? Rest. The other guy went on to in this world of of openers and and and no starters go and five is a big deal. Yes, he did. That's the way the world was ladies and gentlemen, new youngins and knows. And that's the big reason that Red Sox fans that had a know going into game seven. It was unlikely that lunberg would be able to match what you've done in games two and five which was a three hit shutout a one hitter and a three hitter. I was never a curse man. I get that straight. BJ's slide properly into second base? I haven't obsession and I will admit it is an obsession with headfirst sliding, which is detrimental to the cause. I had it scientifically proven by physics, loving people at MIT over twenty five years ago that it does slows you down at does not get you there faster and you see all the injuries that occur from it. And therefore I when I haven't obsession and Jerry and he had that moment had just paid a beautiful old fashioned pop-up slide on a on a going into second base. And I tweeted out inventory and great happiness that I just seen them make Popper slide. Hey, Bob, it's Billy. I don't know about that because I feel like if you're sliding headfirst it's easier to get around people, you'd be more precise with trying to touch the base that isn't argue. There's only one time the sleep delight that go head. I in the first base that's at the throw was off line and the way. Yes, that is true, but it is not. It doesn't get you there faster. When these guys in fight headfirst into, I just hoping to beat the flow. When the phone was perfectly normal flow, it is counter productive, and then I can't be more clear about that. It is counter-productive the situation you describe there is an argument to make a headfirst slide to avoid a tag. But the dumbest place of aqueous to do it at home plate. I think I sometimes it can be productive now. It only one possibility, and that's it, throw off line and you're trying to avoid a tag. But with these jackasses universally dive into first base on a normal flow making gonna get there faster and they don't didn't. Dave Roberts slide head first that didn't he the famous thing that would. Headfirst, but that doesn't mean it was the right thing to do. Very good. It's Wisconsin, Iowa, LSU and Ohio State. I want to dig a little bit deeper though because you know that Alabama's record in those games is foreign four, five hundred. You might think yourselves that doesn't seem that good. Well, it's not that good Intel. You dig into the record of those other four teams that have given up fewer forty point games in Alabama. They are three and nineteen combined. This guy wins, regardless of what style he's got a win. He's won four. Excuse me, five national championships with four different coordinator combinations on his staff. He's replaced those coordinators and still got in the number one recruiting class in the country. You can love Michigan and Alabama. At the same time, it's very clear that you would need to pick Alabama and a conversation to me because all of a sudden speaking of quarterback quandries like the eagles have, I think, coach Saban has one and he won't even commit who is starter is because he's trying to juggle the two eagles those two kids right now. And that could cost him. I've seen coach salmon, do bizarre things at quarterback, like one year at all miss. He started didn't.
