That's why i think it was <hes>. It was just steve. I think back to those days the beyond air adviser. I don't know how i got through that steve and i thought for second yeah i do. You were late every second day again. I think we've talked about this in previous episodes but it was described to me as by our boss as a great bit always found that fascinating i went in at had called into the office on the guy. Was this thing where you're where you're sort of pretending drunk and really hung over all the time and late and stuff like that. That's a great bit. Keep doing that okay. So did you recover from yesterday. Because what you did yesterday was interesting. You decided to put it out on twitter a you're in a ah sort of an abusive situation in your brain and he decided that you'd put a photo of yourself out on twitter. Okay let me have it no holding back in a big sign reading roast me and he took a selfie and everybody pretty much went to town on you. I recovered emotionally from all that well. I'll tell you what steve okay. I've <hes> you know for years and years <hes> i i'd love i'd love canadians. I love canadian humor because it's self deprecating stuff where we just. Some people lead with their chin. That was just like that's a whole other level that you took it to where there you want to hear some of the feedback since we last spoke yeah for sure my my favorite my favorite one is sean williams pug mccollum <hes> and you've taken some pretty hard runs sean on in the past and his comment about your photo was when jungle goes camping the bears hide their food in the trees which i think you took a shot at him with the same line <hes> somewhere along the way that's true. He said that was always his favorite line. I love sean. He was always a big listener to the show and yeah he always told me that sel to their lots of references to relic from the beachcombers galloway walter walter prager <hes> lever seventeenth so this is what letting yourself go looks like the matrix with kind of a weird one <hes> i'd roast i do but i've heard that could negatively impact the unborn child in your womb yeah what the hell was. So this has been a long road that would be on this point. And we're super happy happy to be on it. And having a lot of fun. Putting beer cans. And just are you using a mobile. Caning servicer, you canning it. You do have your own canning line in the brewery. At the moment, we have a mobile come in with our QC team. And then or the profitably. Right. Because you guys have an expansion that's going on that you're, you're building out a little bit. Is that correct? That's okay. Yes. We were bars fade this winter soup. Cans now were putting other civility I onto our current facility and couldn't quite a bit more Kakasu to keep up with demand. That's very cool down the road come summertime. What new beers? Will you be looking to release for the the public? The bit lighter with what's loggers ever super site about Mexican back. Let's see, we have a couple of his peers doing. See all the different offers Bill early offerings on the fruit side of the MIR Philander fear with odd blend of Oregon blockers raspberries with couple of our y inspire beers group ball flus off towards the end of the summer. So tons of stuff very cool. Now you guys have been opened a few years since since twenty twelve and we're seeing so many changes amongst the beer landscape. More local breweries breweries that emerged like just last week, semi Adams dogfish head merged together. How have you as a business owner with your partners, dealt with those changes? Sure. We have a very strong regional strategy. When is organic one that was of for the three of us to manage, right? I and within that was built an awesome team and great vision partners. And you're a great Dan basically will customers. So bras, either gonna ride on the top of the wave of what was grossly couple years ago, and go other mergers and acquisitions everything happened that there's lots of ways to run for? His toy intercept when he does revive. What we've even during bullrings currently always keep an eye on the business. And sure healthy decisions for our business, and, you know, the alternate of moving forward, that's way to go. And last question for me Josh in all the different places that you worked in traveling through Europe. What's the most important thing that you learned that you still use in your brewery on a regular basis that you're how is the most important tool that you have? And that you always have to have the eye on making better and greater beer than you did before, and keep your exciting innovative, fresh, I and, you know, keep your fans excited and then ultimately your Saltergate and have a lot of fun. You know, if you're confident how that your mind, you're better than it was before and you're gonna joy it doing a more in your fans or before about up here. Every day. Consistency is definitely the king. And of course, having fun. I mean really at the end of the day I mean obviously, you guys are supporting other people that work for you. "Twenty horses. Terrible track. Editions? Does it go into your thinking when it's a race as big as the job Kelly in Columbus to really good question. The derby is the biggest race in the country. It's not it's not the biggest purse, but it's the biggest race. It's what we all want to win. And again understand if there are thirty or even forty thousand horses born every single year only twenty make that race and something else that people always forget, you could only be in the door be wants. It's only for three year olds you only get one shot. It's a once in a lifetime. You know? It's only been a hundred and forty five of these things. Everybody wants to be in that race. So if you qualify, and you can get in more often than not somebody's gonna put that horse in there. In terms of is dangerous. Do you think about that? Of course. Well, you should I know I do we do, but it depends on the horse. I wanna go to deep on this. Because we've talked a lot of Heus racing today, but the different horses run in different conditions on different courses, their horses that are specialists like since I've been in the game we had to amazing horses. I had some really good horses to amazing horses and some decent horses. The two amazing horses. We had we share belief in MS direction. Misdirection was a turf course specialist she ran on grass exclusively and that she run on grass. It had to be a certain type of grass. I mean, she was really unique. She loved the Santa Anita downhill course, but we tried to run her on grass that was yielding or longer. She was not nearly as effective if we took her off the grass one time we had on the dirt. She wasn't even close to the same horse conditions at the door be and it was really muddy really sloppy. And it seemed like a terrible thing it's not ideal obviously, but there are certain horses that actually run better in the mud. There's certain horses that doesn't impact at all. They actually like it there's certain horses. If you look at their background their pedigree. They're built for it. When you asked about share belief, that's a different situation. Altogether, shared belief was such a super horse, and we knew it from day one. That literally we thought no matter what you asked him to do. He just did it. There was never a single time that share belief didn't go into the gate that we didn't know he was going to win. It's the most unbelievable feeling ever. It's never liked that in horse racing. You hope the at the board. You think you're gonna win? You always think you're gonna win. But then reality smack in the face, which is no he'd win. And it didn't matter what the conditions were. He won on synthetic. He won on dart. He wants sprinting he won going long. You know, we used to say he could win over anything and he had bad feet. He just he was just unbelievable. So we always thought about it. And we made one decision that of come to regret perhaps by running him on a smaller track. And he got hurt. But that was the belief we had the horse that he could do anything. He was a super horse. He was always going to win. He was the best horse in every single field. We knew it. He knew it. So we always ran him. And we thought about where but we really believe that horse would win. No matter what. So it really depends on the horse. I think and what what they're good on. Ms wreck shin was really good on a particular course, share bang. Really good best in the world. Good. But had to be right. Share belief was best in the world for a time on any course, hope that helps Jimmy we have no idea what happened in that race. All we know is our hats were really cute, and those mint juleps really got to us, and we fought with our girlfriends later that night side, OC housewives. That was in Wisconsin today the race. I saw some folks you've got pretty early on and kept it up on long, pretty ugly. John in Huntington beach with that, Jim. Hey, Rome correction, I would like to take the Kentucky winter down down to bed. That is signed Matthew b. Francis. In Glendale tweets are Taurus went to college. Without speaking English big deal. My daughter went to college on a rolling scholarship in never even touched an order side Ampex. So I mentioned podcast Tuesday is now podcast Monday. At least this week. Bob myers. Jim the Golden State Warriors is going to join me shortly, in fact, right after this show. He, and I are gonna have a conversation as you know. With the podcast. We have voicemail call is that we can put on this show because it we can't put on that show. This gal has tried to make the jump from the podcast to the radio show. Sometimes it works. Sometimes it does not. But you gotta keep shooting your shot. Let's go to Rockland, if you know, the podcast, you already know her Andy in Rockland, Andy what's going on? Hey, jim. Hey, andy. Good. How you doing there? Good. You know, I was gonna tell you some really funny. My dad, he Google, Jim. And it came up Jimmy, Andy. Google. And my dad was like what? He Google Jim it came up, Jim and Andy. Yeah. That's really funny and really weird. It's funny. It just says Andy Jim and Andy in rocklin from that stupid thing I did about basil or something. Remember why remember and you'll never forget that. So when you're dead Google that was at the very first thing that came up or did he have to scroll down a little bit. He did all this stuff. And he's like what? And then now he's all into you. You know? Okay. On the podcast, Andy. All right. Just responding to me. But not that. I don't know if you wanna go Google and yourself googling me do that do that on your own time. I don't know. Now, he's all into me because the basil and Eddie just lost my train of thought. What are we talking about? Where that start back to that question about. Would you run a horse in those conditions? If it were the Kentucky Derby, so when shared belief when we bought share belief. He had one race in northern California. Which was a smaller circuit he came down. At Santa Anita. He won that race. And did so really spectacularly. And then he ran third race. Which was a great one any one that by seven and a half likes. And the next thing, you know, I'm on a plane to Florida to accept the two year old male horse of the year, which is really prestigious and Alex. So lease who was in the middle of the horse that just won the derby. And he purchased share belief for us. He said to me, Jim, whatever you do dude. He's looking at me. Jim listen to me, whatever you do do, not get fever. Do not get derby fever. Don't do it the derby because we were already the pre derby favourite by the end of the year, the derby is in may, he said don't do it. I said Alex man, come on, dude. I'm not the rookie. I was five years ago. I got this. I got this derby fever. I got a bad and then Chevrolet got hurt. And then we had another. Colt really good Colt. Really, call it name straight fire. You remember the story about straight fire and straight fire went to del mar and won his maiden race by ten lengths and was a super freak doing it. You don't win it del mar by ten likes, and I went to the flight deck and since I know now flight deck flightdeck likes the game more than I do. Flightdeck is obsessed with horse racing. A look at him. I go yo big head, dude. Do not get derby fever with this horse is okay, boss. I got it. I got it. I'm like, yeah. Like, I had it was shared belief. Hey, head don't get derby fever. Big head had it for like six weeks nearly died. He had a fever straight got hurt. Straight fire, though is a stallion out here in California. We are breeding to straight fire. And I think as I you know, we just had our first year and straight fire. I think had thirty or forty foles. So we'll see and we have one. And if you wanna go really deep, remember, the first mayor that we bought on our own it was surfer girl and surf girl had a daughter named gidget girl and gidget is about to throw a straight fire fall. Now, you're caught up. Andy, Jim and Andy show up if you Google us. I don't know because I don't do. Go me. But and his dad does. The boomer eighteen Jim IRS sounds like Andy googled, Jim and tonic. I don't know. I don't know. Got a big day tomorrow. I know that John Lynch. Suns GM came Jones. Dana white big big gay tomorrow. Haunted horse tweets. Andy in rocklin, tell us horrible stories side Roger in Minneapolis incredible story on Saturday that I've shared with many of my friends and family, and my sister said you have to call home, and you have to share this with everybody else. Yes. Sometimes too close to it. But your sister. Your sister. Should've said, hey, hey, Raj. Whatever you do. Don't call that. I even tell all your friends and family. It's not that good a story, bro. In fact, the clones will kill you. They will eat you alive. Do not do that. Which she should not have said was do that. As an awesome story Rome will love that. And so the clones tell him. You're wasting that story on us five when five billion people could hear that in the jungle. Not done your parents. Not proud of you the one you right now..

"Right. The one Tex Russell Wilson. That's next on first. I. Back here. I thing I. Rounds rookie QB Baker may feel is in the middle of his first NFL training camp head coach, Hugh Jackson has an advice for his first year QB. This is a little bit different than Oklahoma training camp. So I guess that's what you said. When you said different. And what time of they get up. A little bit later this not what time you normally come on. Okay. Do you ever come in with your boy. He doesn't. He doesn't own little work. Where'd you on Jolo workout. Start starting your career, how you want. Competition and everything. No. That's interesting. Titian a Coachman. He is a good coach. It's hard to win in this league. I hope he can get it turned around, but man, he's done a good job when he was in Oakland at a good job and he's in Cincinnati. That's great footage. They're very, very rare. And as you could see, letting them know you're going to be a starring. So you're going to be a starter, what kind of program you gonna have because he will have a program now and tyrod Taylor people would think he's not a superstar. Look how hard he's working to try to get better at his crap. I don't wanna make too much this. Are you surprised at all? The Baker would would not already be as the number one overall pick there at the same time as early as anybody else. He don't know any better. He just and like guys think they work hard until they get in the pros in been like, goodness gracious. Now this is hard work. Now we know how to work as pros and that's a learned skill. They'll get there. That's why they call them murky at is great. Footage for yosick. Oh man on leaving. Get my second get there when Chris that is September of program, like I got getting ready for this show. No, I'm not going to do. Chris Carter very show program. All right. Dimmer type show. America is typed stories, Dr. Ward. L. for his action in nineteen months, which has the QB feeling a little bit. Nervous looks at quote. There's part of me that, but I would never have playing football again. Chris Carter, how do you think local handle being back under center? Now? This was a great interview. I mean, he got really motioning his first practice. He had to hold back even tears, but he thought he was getting ready for a game. You can see it was something that might have been taken away from. So let you know too that the setbacks that they had, they were real. These medical reports that we heard, man, they were conflicting each other, what the team was report and what was really going on. Those were real. You can see a real change in his overall attitude and appreciate football. And it made me think back to something jimmer say said, now, Jim IRS as not known for the most insightful quotes tweet song lurks, anything like that. But if you remember earth say last year said the hardest real estate to conquers the four inches between your ears and he was clearly wrong and making it seem like Andrew luck. It was just a mental thing, not a physical thing, but he might have been right in that in addition to the physical issues, Andrew luck was dealing with legitimate. We're going to move on to curricular according to reports, Aaron Donal is not expected to report to camp anytime soon. He'll miss today's deadline that would have given him a your free agency, making him a restricted free agent next year. Chris Carter, how do you expect this to play out the Rams? I'll be very disappointed in the Rams in psalm McVeigh the gentleman's that they've done a great job. You don't bring in in dominating sue and put him next to the best player and not sign him to a contract extension. You don't trade for Brandin cooks, Brennan.
