Jim Hanson and Sean Davis Discuss Trump's Potential Arrest
"Jim Hansen and my guest M Sean Davis, cofounder of the federalist. Hey, Sean, we're talking about the Russians and all that kind of stuff. And I actually think there's a piece of senator Corden's critique of you that you missed. He finally dumped the beans on who funds the federalist. Oh, yeah, who is it? Putin. I knew it. I knew you were a Putin stooge, dude. Everyone knows it. Everyone, now it's a fact. But dude, let's jump. Let's jump quick and have a chat. What do you think they're going to do with the potential indictment and arrest in New York? They're going to chicken out, are they going to cuff and stuff him? I haven't heard that rhyming combo before. That's a good one. I think they're going to indict him. This to me is the political Democrat version of Chekhov's gun. As you can't have a gun in a plane act one, if it's not going to go off by the end of the play, you can't dangle Trump getting arrested in front of these Democrats who are just deranged by Trump and not arrest Trump. So I can be wrong. It's happened before. I think they're going to go through it. They're just trying to figure out their timing.

Defending Taiwan With Jim Hanson and Gordon Chang
"Jim Hanson. You can find me at Jim Hansen, D.C. on Twitter, and you can find my guest Gordon Chang at Gordon G Chang on Twitter, and you should follow him because he is an indispensable analyst right now because we got Chinese communist problems and they're not getting better. You should also check out his book the coming collapse of China, which can not come and collapse soon enough for my liking. Gordon, we talked a little bit about Chinese ascendancy in Middle East affairs and obviously their partnership with the Russians and what they're doing in Ukraine. But the 800 pound gorilla in any time we have to talk about their ambitions is the island of Taiwan and whether or not the long nature of the war in Ukraine and our large commitment of military hardware and everything else make them at least consider the idea that we might not have the appetite to defend Taiwan if they made a move. You know, that's a really important point you make. But first of all, we're bleeding munitions. Which we should use in East Asia instead of the western part of the Eurasian landmass in Ukraine. But also it's a question of signals. And what Biden is signaling is he's not looking for victory. He's looking to manage the situation in Ukraine. And that says to Xi Jinping that the United States doesn't have will. So unfortunately, it is some of the green light for the Chinese to say, well, let's go after Taiwan. And this is something that I think that the Biden team doesn't understand. They make some very short term decisions. All presidents do this. But Biden does it more than others. Short term decisions and they don't understand the consequence that it has on other bad actors.

Jim Hanson and John Solomon Talk FBI Threat Tags
"Welcome back to America first with our very special guest, uncle Jimbo. It's Jim Hansen. Good to be with you, everybody, and I am especially happy to be joined this segment with John Solomon, who is the proprietor of just the news. They do the actual investigative work and dig into the many bad things going on. One of which is more evidence of government abuse of power to attack political opponents. This is the FBI shockingly, but a different version of their ongoing stuff. What do you got, John? Yeah, Jim, good to be with you. This is a really important thing. What we're hearing from multiple whistleblowers who have gone to Congress gone to the inspector general of the Justice Department is that FBI ideologues are beginning to use a thing called threat tag. So that tax would normally reserved for terrorists or extremists who are likely to commit violent acts against Americans. And these threat tags are now being used. We first heard about them. They were applied for a period of time until it was called a mistake to parents who were protesting curriculum changes at school board minis. Clearly not terrorists, right? Then we heard recently that the Richmond office of the FBI did a memo that applied thread tags to Catholics who prefer Latin mass. I'm not sure why preferring a Latin mass would make you a terrorist, but for a while they did, the FBI set up, that was a mistake. Now, a new whistleblower has come out in the last couple of days and said, the same thing was going on. They were implying threat tags to anti abortion pro life activists. Now, what's really interesting about this is that there was a threat tag originally created for pro abortion forces who were threatening death to Supreme Court Justices who were talking about reversing roe V wade, which they did. All right, that's a legitimate use of a threat tag. If someone's actually thinking of assassinating justice, that is a legitimate use. But very quickly after the abortion threat tag was created, it was flipped around by ideological according to this whistleblower to go after pro life activists who had posed no mortal threat. They

Well, here's something that can really help and it's worth taking a minute to look into meta share 65 plus. Medicare is a community of Christians who share each other's healthcare bills and it really is a community too. People encourage and pray for each other. Meta share 65 plus is a low cost option for those with Medicare parts a and B and it fills in the gaps where Medicare stops. It's a great way to fight inflation too. You can lock in one low monthly price for up to ten years. And it's easy. You can use any Medicare approved doctor or get 24/7 telehealth access from the comfort of your home. You don't have to pull the book out. We got to cover up, brother. We believe you have a couple copies. Everyone else should have copies, too, because they're great books. They're fun. He shoots everybody. You gotta love a main character who shoots everybody. So people are like, you should get your carrot cake without problems by thinking. It's like, no. It's so much easier to shoot people. Yes. I mean, seriously, you can talk to them and maybe you convince them, and then they get their own ideas, or you shoot them and you move on. Exactly. That's the essence of fiction. And then last time. It encourages the others to act the way you want them to. I think we had to chuck them off the we had to walk the plank. That's what we need to do. You'll note I never tried to become a flag officer. That was probably smart. That if I end up conservatism, this is my 35th anniversary of going off to basic training today. Congratulations, the country thanks. A grateful nation. Thanks you for your time. I would probably be put out to pastures like a three star. I don't know if I could get to a three star. "Men are the ones who create and destroy. What about the ideas you did serve in the army? What about the ideas related to manhood of service? And also the relationship of robust masculinity to those that are vulnerable and the duty we have to them. Would you unpack those? Look, in the military masculinity is extremely important. And there's now I've led women in peacetime in wartime. And you do have to lead them differently. There are differences to say they're completely interchangeable as just ridiculous. And I don't want to minimize the service of any woman who's gone and served her country. But in a military situation, after 5000 years, it's just the last 50 we decided, you know what? Let's integrate women really deeply into this system. As if the guys in the last 50 years are that much smarter than the guys over the last 5000. It is a male thing to decide to pick up your rifle and run up a hill to kill everybody on the top of the hill. Knowing you could be killed. That is not a typical female thing. Females tend towards growing and nurturing. And caring, frankly, men are very driven by among other things pride. You don't want to look like a coward in front of your friends. And also insane loyalty. Now, UI and Jim Hansen had a close encounter in an event where somebody got a little frisky. And I thought the three of us were going to get throw down, but we were all there. Nobody backed off. Nobody hit it, never occurred to us to do any of that. And we managed to deescalate the situation. But if it had escalated, that would have been okay, too. Yeah, it's remarkable for those who missed that. We were, where were you? Was it cpac? What was that? It was Florida. It's Florida, and we were at a hotel and we're having a good time. Big, big conference in some pots came up to me, thought he was going to be funny, made a joke at my expense, which was an insult. And I, you know, I just reacted as I do when somebody casts a specials on my americanism and I jumped up, things got a little bit hairy for a moment. And it was fascinating because I didn't serve with you. I didn't serve with Jim. Your army, he's a green beret. I was British reserves. And there was like a maybe a half a nanosecond of delay between me engaging and you two guys jumping out from your seats and having my back and it was like, it was, there was something organic about it. At least from where I was standing, I don't think you sat down and did an estimate of the situation and did a calculation of the S.W.A.T. the strengths or weaknesses and everything else. You and Jim kind of just boom, you got up and you were there. You have to do it. Yeah, you're not expecting some, but suddenly your buddy's got an issue and it may escalate. You got to be there. And you have to recalibrate your mind. From we're just sitting around having some cigars to, okay, well, maybe this guy is going to throw a punch. And his buddies because he wasn't alone. I mean, that is very much manhood. And it's very much, that's normal across many cultures, you know, there aren't a lot of cultures that don't do that. Among the men. You know, I think it was a good teaching incident because it wasn't, you know, it wasn't for show or anything. It was just okay. Now we gotta now we gotta regulate. Let's see where this goes. And I'll give you especially credit and Jim as well because you were the you were the engines of deescalation at that point and you handled it very nicely and that pathetically little is of a man disappeared very rapidly with his tail between his legs. But that's all we're discussing. What are those things that you just you do?.

I Thought Fascists Hate Women...
"Fascist hate women. I'm a little bit confused. They've elected a women, a woman premiere for Italy, from a party with fascist roots. Nobody better tell them what the roots of the Democrat party are. Let's talk about all that and much more. In fact, real fascism in America with somebody who is, well, he's a professional troublemaker and that's why we invite him to guest host here on America first. Uncle Jimbo Jim Hansen, welcome in studio one on one. I get to be with you, Seb. Did I hear you say that you're moving to Sweden next week? Not moving, but we'll move across the pond or visiting relatives. I have relatives in Sweden and barbarian. Are they fascist barbarian Vikings? Barbarian Vikings they carry axes and they put the banners up and everything. Yeah. I can't wait because Sweden, as he also said, we're all talking about Italy, but before that Sweden elected a very extreme right neo fascist party. Because they believe in God, it was other problems. I think there was pretty much they believed that crime and uncontrolled immigration and all of the woke politics that were destroying their country were probably a good thing to stop. Do they believe Sweden is good? Do they believe in the country? Is that the issue? Is that why they're fascist? Because they believe in Sweden? You know, this nationalist thing. I think is wonderful to watch because it's okay to love your country. It's okay to believe that your country has something special. We do, and we have good reason to Sweden, can again, and they want to. So does Italy. Good on them. So maybe they should have, let's do a bit of consulting for them. They could come up with some kind of political catch phrase like make sweet and great again. Something like that. I make Italy great again. That's catchy. I think it's going to work because they've already started. That's the good thing. The people saw that life under woke rule life under social Democrat or whatever you want to call their version of socialism was destroying their country. And they said, maybe we should stop. I mean,

Jim Hanson Talks With Will Chamberlain About Biden's Student Loan Move
"Jim Hansen, I am back. Doctor G is out, but we are rocking hard today, and we are joined by one of the smart people. One of the educated people. Someone with a lot of credentials from universities that matter. And we're going to use those against him. We have Wilt Chamberlain, my good friend. How are you doing buddy? Good to be with you, Jim. So you were early on the scene like you often are with a hot spicy take. Several years ago, I remember this where you were saying seize the endowments of the universities, and I'm gonna be, I'm gonna cop to it. I thought you were crazy. I thought it was a crazy idea. I was like, you can't do that. And no one will ever want to do that. How do you get to get people behind that? And all of a sudden, it's time to seize the endowments. Everybody agrees. Everybody's sort of come around to the idea that wait a second, actually. The universities are really obnoxious. And they're defrauding children and maybe we shouldn't let that happen. And maybe we should make them compensate their victims. So before we seize their endowments, I want to ask your opinion, can Biden steal tax dollars to pay off the loans of these people? Is that legal? I mean, it's a close question, honestly. I don't think it's obvious which way it'll go. There's a lot of emergency powers that the president has. I remember all the way back to the debates when Trump was president. We were talking about the emergency powers to build the wall. A lot of people were saying, oh, we can't do that. And I was like, no, no, that power is there. There's the Congress's granted a lot of power to the president. So now the way that Biden is doing it, he says he's using the COVID emergency to grant debt relief. Doesn't make a lot of sense. I think if I had to bet I'd bet that the courts would ultimately strike it down. But I don't think it's not nearly as clear cut as, say, the, what was it? It was the rent, I forget the word now. The rent abatement whether it was. Yeah, you don't have to pay. Right, we're right. They were going to stop it for two more months. He had no authority to do that. That was obvious. This, I think, is actually somewhat close. Now, Nancy Pelosi though, she last year was out saying, oh, Biden can't just unilaterally do this. Houses of Congress that are in charge of the money and all of a sudden well, if she's not really running her mouth about this issue. Yeah,

Sebastian Is Joined In-Studio by 'Uncle Jimbo' Jim Hanson
"He is none other than uncle Jimbo Jim Hansen. Welcome back in studio for one on one. Hi, good to be with you, Seth. All right, so we have to talk about this massive story that broke in which you are implicated as a co-conspirator as somebody who colludes colludes with those who believe that elections should have consequences. I think I heard a senator from Illinois one say that name was Barry Barry something. Anyway, let's put this story up. It broke last week. One of the longest pieces I've ever seen at axios with of course a rather unflattering picture of Donald Trump's chin, the presidential chin, a radical plan for Trump's second term by Jonathan Swan thousands and thousands of words. I don't know why I counted. I had 8 people who wrote this article. Jonathan Swan was assisted by 8. Have you ever had 8 people assist you write anything? I actually can write English myself. Okay. Okay, maybe it's the need another person to sharpen the crayon and choose the column. No, I'm not talking about marines behavior yourselves. The subject of this article was the discussion of what is it, two, three different new institutions, mega America first institutions that are planning for a second Trump term with the idea that there should be people in the government who do the job of the elected president, and that's the problem. Can you help me unpack that? Well, the problem is they've gotten used to the permanent bureaucracy, the deep state doing their bidding. So the idea is you come in and there's a certain top layer in all the executive agencies of political appointees that the new president comes in and replaces. The problem is everybody below that still is allegiant to the woke democracy and their socialist agenda. So now the left is figured out that during president Trump's first term, those people successfully undermined way too many things. He was trying to do. It's actually remarkable. Let me just interject here. Given that I witnessed the deep state in action, how much he achieved in those schools. Is it not? Oh, it's stunning. And that was just through sheer force of will. Yeah, that's the good thing about our team is we were motivated. Now we took that lesson and learned, we need a bench. We need a bench, who's ready to come in when we take the presidency in 2024, and we need to get rid of the people who are going to try and stop that

Kurt Schlichter: America Is Run by Cultural Trust Fund Babies
"Okay, Kurt, let's jump in. I mean, so many things I want to discuss with you. You valde, world military, what did you call it, the political realignment? The political realignment. And that's part of the rise. Well, we'll talk about all of these things that will try through the next hour. But first, explain this subtitle. So the book is we'll be back. And it's got some great endorsements by me. Dan Gino, David Limbaugh, Jim Hansen, our body Monica Crowley. A whole panoply of real patriots. But talk to us about the four and the rise, map it out, give us some your report of the fallen rise. The Pinnacle was there in time and space at 7 core main at the victory. In 91. And 91. And we essentially agreed with Francis fukuyama that history was over. Liberal democracy had won. But in wool fell down, it was a pack gone. Everything was going to be great. We stopped trying. The problem with America now, doctor gorka is run by what I call cultural trust fund babies. All right, now the way I put it is everybody knows. Ford. And not a great person, but he put a car in every garage. He created modern manufacturers. Henry Ford. His sons, they, they built forward into a massive corporation. They gave us the Mustang, which is pretty awesome. My first car, 73 Mustang. It's a big bloated, ugly one. The third generation affords. You can't name any. They're probably parked in front of a crack house in a broken and Ford fusion with Hunter Biden. So what is the point you're making? Trust fund babies. They always fail. They always squander it. The World War II generation they beat Hitler. They beat the depression. Pretty impressive. The 60s, the people in the charge in the 60s. They changed America through civil rights, where they demanded human rights from angry Democrats, a theme that continues through American history. And they put a man on the moon. These are impressive achievements. And we have the present ruling elite that gave us Iraq, Wall Street, meltdown, and

Thank you. I'm so glad to be on in the new spot. Isn't this cool? This is like a crazy show. It is the coolest thing. I know. No, I almost am like not worthy. Yeah, I'm used to just being able to pull it together on the top, and then everything else is like yoga pants, and I'm like, maybe I'll get dressed today. Yeah. Yeah, well, we did it. And we're on the late night TV talk thing. Now, I want to talk kind of production value. Because I don't know if you notice, there is a giant show trial propaganda fest for the invented insurrection going on. That was pretty, I mean, yesterday was, there are some really good memes created out of yesterday. Like if a day creates good memes. It's a good day. So yeah, it's us. It's our team winning. The grass, like, that's basically what she was describing. I mean, it was absolutely insane. And good on them. But I want to kind of get into your area of expertise because the left decided when they were going to have these show trials that they were going to hire a TV news executive to stage them. Tell us super cool. It tells you a lot. And then you've got legs zelensky going on like every meeting with every celebrity he possibly can. You're like, man, this guy's got a lot of time on his hands 'cause I'm just trying to run a production company, like not run a war. I don't even have time to do that. That's amazing.

"Well, look, I think they have a real messaging problem. And they pointed out themselves. They're notion, though, is the messaging problem is the only problem. It's not the substance behind it. But they're not even able to cover up their failures with good propaganda. And I just, I find it baffling that they are so completely tone deaf. You know, are people really that concerned that you might have to cross state lines to kill your baby when they're real problem is $7 gallon gas. Well, and again, you said it. The real problem is their policies are deadly, a life under Democrat rule in any place in America or they've been in charge is hellish. And people are now noticing that because things have gotten so bad, you can't avoid it. And I think there, again, back to the information war, they're picking horrible battles. They picked the battle of we prefer the thought police over free speech. We prefer killing babies over life. We prefer telling everyone that they're racist over treating people on the content of their character. And we believe that the most freakish people's sexual preferences should be celebrated. Well, I've good. Thank you. Let's fight over that stuff. Jim Hansen, I find it bizarre that the Democrats have the left as a whole. It's not just Democrats. Has moved away from what I thought was a brilliant information before aiming for abortion, which is safe legal and rare, because with that framing, you actually acknowledge the concerns of your opponents. The opponents find it distasteful, they don't want to have it. You actually concede something while really conceding nothing. You say, look, I want it rare. And people are like, okay, so you can see that it's not a favorable thing. That reframes it as a problem to be solved. But now it's been taken over by these pierced blue hair tatted up freaks who twerk their abortions, shout their abortions. They're happy. I've had four abortions and I feel fulfilled and normal people, even ones who might be pro choice. Look at that, what the hell is wrong with you, you mutation. It's a terrible information strategy. If it's terrible for them, it's wonderful for us because it highlights the difference between the two cultures that are now at war in this country. One is personal responsibility paired with liberty. You know, so you have the freedom to do things, but you're responsible for your own actions. The other one is a consequence free lifestyle where nothing you do can be your fault. Any failure is someone else's has caused it for you and you should be able to live your life doing whatever makes you feel good with the government there to bail you out. Again, thank you for that framing. We'll have that argument all day long because normal people can see that that doesn't work and that they're, again, their standard bearers are just idiots and failures like Kamala Harris. They are the freakish weirdos who they have now decided are the emblem of the new left. And I God bless them for it..

"He is Jim Hansen, the author of winning the second Civil War allegedly without firing a shot. Jim, welcome to the studio. What a wonderful place, dude. I like it. Not enough guns though, right? You know, is there some rule about that? I think we'll find out. Well, we'll do some research that I know we caught smoke cigars. That's the biggest problem, but we'll find out about the Second Amendment. Welcome in studio, we have so much to discuss Russia, Ukraine, Finland, Sweden, the border. But let's talk about tomorrow. It's been a rather dirty primary season in the granite state, the Keystone state. Talk to us about so, granite's New Hampshire, the Keystone state of Pennsylvania. We've invited us Doctor Oz on the show while constantly told by his PR team that is very busy. We'll get back to you. We'll get back to you. He seems to be ducking and avoiding media of late. Kathy Barnett, who I've known for years when she first came on Fox when I was hosting the national security moms there on Fox and Friends. Came on Thursday when all the hubbub about her D two one fours and her military service erupted. I asked her some tough questions. She quitted herself quite well. So give us your take as somebody who understands Trump, maga, the swamp, the rhinos. What's your take on Pennsylvania? Anybody but the Democrats? I think all this infighting was not helpful. I think Oz doesn't want to come on your show because you're going to ask him why he's pals with Erdoğan. Why he voted in the last Turkish election why he hasn't renounced his citizenship and why he's not even vaguely a conservative in any meaningful way. I understand Trump like celebrities. Okay, I get it. And he figured name recognition matters. That's a reasonable thing to do. But the problem is now we've got not just a rhino. We've got, I don't even know what he is. He's a no. "How can you not back then? What is your response to those who say they're conservatives who say, forget this ignore it irrelevant. We should just look after Americans. I'm sorry. That's short sighted and in a lot of ways naive. We have a global economy, period, whether you want it or not. We have global interconnected energy needs and demands and supplies. All of those things make it impossible for us as America to not in some way be actively engaged in everything that's going on. Actively engaged does not mean troops on the ground or tanks rolling, but it means we have to be proactively using our powers. And that's what we didn't do. We did nothing. All we spewed a bunch of talk at Putin as if that was going to stop him. But what about, I think they did it previously. They did it again. They did it with that last cyberattack. When we give the Kremlin the list, please don't hit these sites. Which is when you give that to KGB kernel, when you give a list of side by sides not to hit or who does he give that to? Yeah, he's sent to the targeting team. No, I think it's another sign of weakness and another sign of not understanding what peace through strength actually means. And they don't. They absolutely do not, because they don't like strength. All right, our woke left. That's where they are. Strength is bad. Strength is bad because you can use it to be mean to people. Even if you use it to protect people, it's still inherently bad. And so they want us to be one nation among many, you know, just not being the preeminent power in the entire world and certainly not using our power to push anybody around even in the closet good. "Welcome back to one on one with me Sebastian gorka and Jim Hansen. Let's talk about the state of the U.S. Military. You've served with Bragg. I spent 5 years as a DoD civilian still associated with a Q course of brag. Let's just remind the world who is the most senior military official in the most powerful nation in the world. Play cuts. First of all, on the issue of critical race theory, et cetera, I'll obviously have to get much smarter on whatever the theory is. But I do think it's important, actually, for those of us in uniform to be open minded and be widely read. And the United States military academy is a university, and it is important that we train and we understand and I want to understand white rage, and I'm white. And I want to understand it. Let's call him a fat moron, but we don't need to go quite there. But just that one sentence, this is Mark milley, the chairman of the joint chief the most senior military officer in America who actually said there, I don't know what critical race theory is, but it's important and I'm happy West Point teaches it. You know, if West Point was teaching it as kami propaganda, you need to understand. Good. Yeah. But he's too stupid to know that. And that's not how they're teaching it. No, they're teaching it as something that should be taken seriously because there is white supremacy and white privilege and all these other things that they now are agreeing in the military are reducing the ability of black and other troops of color, talk to them from achieving what they should. And that's garbage. There is no more meritocratic institution in our country. By definition always has been. And the idea that somehow we need to ruin it like we're trying to run the rest of the country is the most dangerous thing I see going on from a national security

It is to prove to them that they're not going to win. All right, that's the point. They have been winning. Let's not even delude ourselves for a second and think that the ones on the left. Somebody came up to me at an event recently at a wedding and found a conservative who said, well, I don't think he should run because a lot of my friends don't like the tweets. James, I get really pissed very fast when I hear this. Why is it that our sites should be living in reality? I mean, we tend to be the people who don't even fantasy world. Why do people who vote Republican say the tweets but not look at the price of gas or the tweets and not look at 2 million crossing the border? Are we losing? You know about information operations. Are we losing the information battle on our side as well? We were, I think it's turned. I honestly believe that since right after 2020 when things were just Berserk, right? And the election was a mess. Everything was bad. And people were like, you know, we're never going to be able to do this again. But now, I think I see I see a change. Security Studies Group President Jim Hanson on the Latest Putin-Biden Talks
"He is a D.C. flamethrower in the best way former weapons, a special forces green beret. He is the president of the security studies group. And he's in studio one on one. Jim Hansen welcome back. Good to be with you. So much to discuss so much territory to cover. Let's start at the beginning of, well, let's start at the last 48 hours. We have the mainstream media. Desperately desperately trying to convince us, Jim, that Putin couldn't look into sleepy Joe's face because he's afraid of him. I am 100% certain that was not the case. I think Putin if anything had to be turning his head to stop from laughing into the camera. Did you pick your someone less capable of taking on a savage tyrant like Putin than Joe Biden, even at his best, that is best he was lost in space. Now he's barely able to stop drooling. There is no way Putin takes him serious. So what does that mean geopolitically? As the guy who looks at strategic stuff day in day out, we have a 100,000 troops to master along the Ukrainian border. We've got a guy called Stoltenberg in Brussels, rattling some rusty sabri Moscow with ill effect. We've got Merkel on her way out. We've got the UK obsessed with arresting people who aren't wearing masks is yesterday's quote unquote telephone summit. Is this just the prelude for him saying, okay guys, step on the gas. Yes, sucks to be Ukraine. Is the takeaway from all that? I mean, there is no reason for Putin to not do it unless Biden's actually got to pay off. It's worth it for him. Right. And that's the thing. That's the only way these guys are going to make any foreign policies by paying people. They already gassing up another plane to pay the mullahs. So the Iranian negotiations are just more proof that all you gotta do is put a little pressure on them and they'll cave. They reenacted the Obama foreign policy of cringing capitulation. Wh what is the the sense of people who bled and ford for that piece of benighted real estate it's sadness honestly savage. It's sadness and embarrassment and that's what really hurts is it's not the people who are boots on the ground. Busting their butts putting their lives on the line losing friends and doing everything possible to accomplish a mission that the leadership was not willing to let them do and in at some level was actually probably impossible. You were never going to make a national army out of a collection of tribes and afghanistan that hate each other more than they will ever love. A mythical nation called afghanistan. So they're they're sad their embarrassed and and at this point they worry about the future of our military. Because how you're going to get people to join. This is how you treat them if this is what you do. Yeah his look. Let me run this posture as a former upright. I told the guys at brag for for years you've actually worn worn the uniform and the beret. So this is what. I advise the white house when i was in in the trump administration. I said the only reason afghanistan matters isn't because of hospitals or schools or ring roads around kabul. the soviets couldn't even build in matters because that territory was used to affect nine eleven. The only reason it matters so all we need is a small footprint of intel and operators to make sure the bad guys like acor. Isis are wacked when they are identified nothing else no nation building. That was my suggestion. That's what the president was really set to do. What what is your take on on the right approach to afghanistan. You know. I think biden deserves all the blame in disgrace for the shameful and incompetent way. This was handled. But let's go back to george w bush and let's look at the fact that we were absolutely right to go in and topple. The taliban are they allowed that that you know country to be used to attack the united states on nine eleven that needed to be taken care of but once we toppled them which was less than a month later. Why did we stay. Because he listened to rumsfeld. And cheney and colin powell talking about if you broke it you bought it no. We couldn't build a nation. We should have knocked him off and then carpet bombed the entire country with leaflets. That said we will bomb this place flat if you do it again. My buddy Jim Hanson, former Green Beret author of winning the second Civil War without Firing a shot, Jim, Let's start with the Joe Biden thing right off the bat. Look, I don't think Joe Biden some card carrying racist and be honest, I don't Really care if he is or not, because he's a half functional adult. What I do care about is they get away with this stuff all the time. June Joe Biden thinks it's 1940 Jim. Joe Biden doesn't know whether it's morning, noon or night. He just knows he wants Butterscotch Clinton this afternoon before his nap. I mean, that's that's shameful, Dude, It's not so much that like you said he's actively racist. It's that he's so soft bigotry of low expectations, having That he doesn't believe he doesn't literally think that black people can succeed unless they're nice. White Knights are taking care of them, and that's disgraceful and embarrassing. You know, for anybody who wants to think this country is better than that man. All right, Jim, January 6th Look, we were all told. We were beaten over the face by the system that day and for a couple weeks after the system insisted There was an insurgency in a coup. Would we almost lost America that day? Jim time is not being very kind to that narrative. To put it mildly, is it No. And right now, the government just released a an indictment. They keep adding to it, and every time they add to it, it gets worse. Against a small group. I think they're up to, like eight or nine people. Now they're they're accusing of having a conspiracy to stop the electoral college certification. Essentially, that's the insurrection. That they're inventing. And the problem is the government's own indictment would be perfect for the defense attorney to just point out and say, Excuse me. You just cleared my clients of conspiring to do what you claim they did. It shows that that's not what they were doing, so I think it's it's part of the partisan attack in the attempt to criminalize conservatism to the left doing, but they're going to run into the fact that legally what they claim happened didn't happen, and they can't prove otherwise. Jim. What do you think? What is Jim Hansen think happened that day. Lay it out for us. Dude, a bunch of people. There were 25 50 75,000 people in D. C. Who were angry about one of the worst elections we've ever held in our history. I mean, it was disgraceful. Whatever you believe about what cheating and fraud happens. They definitely loosened all restrictions on mail in voting, absentee voting matching signatures in a bunch of stuff. It was disgraceful and they gathered in D. C. To, you know, petition their government for regressive grievances, which is 100% legal. The problem is, there were some people who were too angry. They got mad They busted in, you know, And whatever Antifa involvement there was it wasn't enough. There were our people there. And some of them hit cops. They should be charged for that room broke windows. They should be charged for that. But what did not happen was a planned insurrection to take over or shut down the function of government. That's an invention by the left, and we need to fight it completely. Okay, Jim. The average American when they're they're constantly being fed misinformation all the time. I mean, look, the average American at least half the country probably thinks there was an insurrection in a coup and things like that. How are we supposed to overcome that kind of information? Onslaught all controlled by the left. Are we overcoming it? Are we losing that battle? I know it's done damage, but where are we in the fight? Well, here's the thing. Look at things that have happened that we just assumed the government would get away with pouches. Emails came out all of a sudden we're finding out. He was lying to us all this time, and the media is having to backtrack. So we keep catching them. And the problem is they get away with it, And then we catch them. They get away with it, and we catch him. But now every time they do that their credibility goes down. And people go to alternative sources of information. Lego I don't know that Jesse Kelly, each other. You and me. Other people like us and more people stand up every day and say I'm not going to listen to their garbage or if I do have to watch it. At least I know it's a lie. And then I can go reality. Check it with other sources, so it's painful to see him get away with it. But that's the whole point of doing. What we do is we are not losing this anymore. We've begun the counterattack and we got a long way to go. But at least we're fighting. I think we may have just lost Jim Hansen there, but look This happens to people. Honestly, Chris, this has happened every single time we've lost someone. What happens is they're so overwhelmed in awe of me. Sometimes they just can't spit. What, Chris sometimes they can't speak anymore. They're thinking to themselves, Man. "Being fired. Not many for a war, but it sure feels like it. Jim Hansen has written a book entitled Winning the Second Civil War without Firing a shot. Jim Hansen serving the U. S. Army Special forces. And now is the founder and president of security studies Group SSG, which specializes in information operations, Jim to to delve into the book. I guess we first have to concede. That there is a second civil war before we talk about how to win it without firing a shot. What do you mean, when you say that? Well, I think the problem Michael is the left has been conducting their part of this for the better part of several decades. And it's just time for we on the right to recognize that they had been warring on us and to respond in cut, and I obviously I mean, figuratively and within the constitutional processes that we have But before we lose those constitutional processes, we have been much too focused. I think on national security and foreign policy and our lives, while the left has been running their fundamental transformation. And either we get serious about it and take them on in the domestic space or they're going to take us out. You know, I have to marvel at how organized they are considering they come at this from such disparate perspectives. The left is not a unified front of issues, but it is a Coalition. And yet their message discipline their execution. I truly marvel at how good they are at this. And Michael. That's important because all too often we underestimate our enemies and I 100% agree with you that they are outstanding at convincing people that they have the ideas. That will a make you a good person and be make this a better country and the ideas they have are fundamentally proven to do the exact opposite. So they have to have brilliant message. Discipline. I think part of it is the left is prone to being part of a herd. They flock. You know they are They like to be told what to do. It makes them feel good. And they want to feel good. So the messaging from the woke left is do what we tell you. And you can feel good about yourself because you're making the world a better place. That's that's appealing, and we need to counter that by pointing out that what they're actually prescribing not just makes things worse. But will destroy the greatest country this planet has ever seen. And I think that Z gonna require all of us to get up off our butts and get in the game. You know, the Bible refers to enemies seen and unseen. We can see Black lives matter when they engage in violence. We can see and TIFA when they engage in violence, But these are the foot soldiers. The unseen is what I think is important to reveal. And you know, we're talking off air about psy ops and these efforts that are made and you know, you see, you see terror conducting conducted in the middle East of people don't realize. Who's actually driving that and how sophisticated those operations are talk a little bit about who's driving be Ellen and Antifa from the boardroom or from high aloft the ivory tower where they're issuing commandments. Michael over the past since basically the Cold War While we were defeating the Soviet Union and terrorism and other important things keep America alive. The left took over academia in the 19 fifties. The universities were conservative. Now they are Communists to be perfectly frank and they they manage that over the course of about three generations. And once they took over academia, then everybody who came through our education system. Became indoctrinated into the idea that the founding principles America and the country itself, We're no longer a good thing. They were actually a bad thing, and we had to atone for those sins. And I think it's fair to look at the left in the world left as a secular religion, so they don't organize in the same way our religions do. They don't have a church, but they believe in their dogma. They enforce apostasy and they go ahead and train people toe believe and then to go out and evangelize for those things. And so it's It's a more informal version of a religion but no less. And even in some cases more so fanatical than any religion this this you know planet has ever seen. It is totalitarian in nature. And they go ahead and It's It's coordinated behind the scenes by a lot of the media and, you know organizations, the nonprofits and then the university organizations as well. But overall, it's simply the agreement that what they're doing is so important that any means necessary is just fine with them. I recall during what came to be known as the Arab spring Media love to write lofty stories about revolution against the old line and Tahrir Square in Egypt. And I recall there was this. It was described as completely spontaneous. People had just had enough and they gathered in the square. And I remember watching footage very carefully and thinking to myself. You're telling me they were there for 15 to 20 hours without any food without any water without any coordinated logistical efforts. I don't believe that. And of course it wasn't true. It was a sophisticated, organized, coordinated, impressive feat of logistics and execution for them to pull that off. And that's what I don't think people realize whether it's George Floyd. And what happened. You know they're or Briana Taylor or any number of other of these supposedly spontaneous Riots. No, no, no, no, no. These air coordinated these air planned these air for effect and very smart people are pulling the strings here. 100% and there is a ton of money behind those things, which is the organizing requirement and that money comes from George Soros and tops tire and any number of liberal billionaires, but they also have a very broad Base of academics and other people who help them with that, and I think what we on the right need to realize is it's no longer safe to sit on the sidelines and assume that the Constitution will keep us safe. Because they're gonna pack the court. They're gonna add D. C is a state and they're going to start erasing amendments to the Constitution if we don't do something about it, and we're far for beat. You know we're losing. I think it's fair to say anyone who tells you that we're not losing this culture war is lying. But we are far from beat. Because a we have the better ideas and B. We haven't been in this fight. You know, we've been feeding the battlefield to that. So now it's it's incumbent on anybody who is a believer in America and all the principles that made us great to go ahead and pick a something to do. It doesn't matter what you do, but pick something in government. Pick something. Go to a school board meeting. Go to a City council meeting. Send messages out Talkto. One more person you've never talked to about why woke is bad and conservative ideas need to be, you know, and faith based ideas need to be part of our Our counterattack against us because they are the other side. The woke left is 100% interested in sidelining us completely. We either fight now or they're going to succeed. With me right there. Jim Hansen is our guest. The book will officially be out in 13 days, but you can pre order it now, wherever you buy books. It's called winning the second Civil War without firing a shot from libations to librarians. Everyone listens, Michael.

"Santa Claus is scattered around your yard. 28. Santa's to be precise, But you're right. I'm a I'm afraid I may have over Did it with them Sandy's this year. What do you think? Well, well, well, there sure is a gaggle of them, but I think all of them saying is just makes the whole display. Really fancy and then them reindeer are pretty festive to let's see you got there. Sure. No, no, no, no, I couldn't get him. Oh, I got dancer, though. Handprint, sir, and under Also, but I didn't have room for no more of them. I think it looks pretty nice though. I mean, where? Where did you find him? Light up, Snowflake. She got there in your yard. The big ones. I've not seen them available for many a year now I know, I know they kind of went out of fashion. They stopped carrying him down to the lows in the home depot. But I was able to borrow some from Tom Nelson. He ain't decorating this year in decorating. When he turned into some Christmas Grinch like Jim Hansen did a few years back, Remember, he just He just changed all of a sudden, one year he started hating Christmas. I mean, he was kind of a hit some fella, but then he grew at his beard and hair and he became kind of a crazy person O r room. I remember. He looked weird, too, didn't he? Kind of reminded me a Charles Manson. No, Tom didn't do that. He got sick. A couple of months back. Can't do know, decorate and don't have the strength this year sick. Oh, that is too bad. What's wrong with him? Well, no one has said for sure families keeping a pretty quiet but you know he smoked all them years. Oh, no, Don't tell me. Sorry to say Tom's got lung cancer. Oh, that's terrible. If you're going to get some type of cancer, that is not the type of cancer you want to get. No, that's for sure. But I'm happy I got to use his decorations..

Climate Cast
Former Vice President Al Gore talks climate change solutions in the Twin Cities
"Former Vice President Al Gore comes to Minnesota. I'm N._P._R.. Chief meteorologist Paul Hutton here. This is climate gas. He's arguably the most important historical figure in expanding climate change awareness in America <hes> and the world his two thousand six film an inconvenient truth introduce climate change science and solutions to millions. His work earned the Nobel Peace Prize this weekend former Vice President Al Gore is here in Minnesota training twelve hundred climate activists through his climate reality project. He sat down with me at the event in Minneapolis Mr Gore thanks for taking the time to talk with us on climate cast today and hey welcome to Minnesota. It's great to be back. You know you're here in the the twin cities this weekend for this climate reality project training event. Why did you start climate reality and what does this accomplish well because I came to the conclusion Susan that the only way we can change policies in time to solve the climate crisis is with grassroots pressure from every state in our country from every county and so I decided when my first movie came out I used one hundred percent of the profits from that movie and the book to <hes> to set up the climate reality project and to mobilize Aisa thousands of people tens of thousands of people to put pressure on their elected representatives and business leaders and civic leaders and community leaders nice to to make the changes that we need to make let's go back thirty one years ago this Summer Nastase Dr James Hansen testifies before your your committee in Congress and he says there's a ninety nine percent degree of confidence for a cause and effect relationship between the greenhouse effect and observed warming? How important was that testimony in your path to climate change awareness well? I think that was an important moment. <hes> in making lots of people realize is that this is for real and we need to do something about it unfortunately in the wake of that hearing and the others that I and other members of Congress Health <hes> the fossil fuel <hes> industries took the playbook prepared by the tobacco companies companies back when the doctors and scientists say hey folks <hes> smoking cigarettes causing lung cancer or disease and they hired actors dressed up as doctors and put him on T._V.. To falsely tell people that there was no health problem at all well that same blueprints what's been used by the fossil fuel companies with the point of bring that up is in a healthy democracy where the truth was turned into power testimony like that of Jim Hansen you asked about would have led to dramatic policy changes reason it hasn't is because of the political influence of the coal companies the oil companies in the gas companies but we're gaining on them and these grassroots activists including an impressive number of them here in Minnesota are really making progress ars you talk about policy. You came within a whisker of the presidency in President Gore I like to think it would have been completely and totally different of course in our country. A president has to persuade the Congress Congress and asked to be a skillful politician and getting support for his or her initiatives but I like to think I would have been able to to put in completely different policies that would help to avoid some of this <hes> heartache and hardship and I still think we can do that. We've lost some ground for sure. Some damage has been made inevitable now unfortunately but we still have time to avoid the most catastrophic consequences so rather than looking back and crying over spilt milk as they say. I look forward and try to figure out what I can do to serve in different way. Just watch you give what we might. Call the talk talk at this climate reality event not that dissimilar from the one you used in an inconvenient truth but how has your presentation changed in the thirteen years since the the movie is changed dramatically in a lot of ways because I can bring up examples of floods or droughts or storms or whatever whatever not from ten years ago but from yesterday or last week and literally every night on television news is like a nature ager. I threw the book of revelation and the examples that illustrate all of what the scientists have been warning us about are all around us now every single day. I think that does make an impression on people I know it. Does it makes an impression on me. Yeah I WANNA get your assessment of where we are with the big big picture on climate change today. We're seeing the positive side rapid progress on solutions like renewables Minnesota here. We generate twenty five percent of our electric power. You're from renewables as you know last year. That's way faster than people thought it would happen fifteen years ago. Public opinion is shifting. We know that a little bit and yet greenhouse gas emissions are still rising globally and this administration is basically a wall or going backwards on solution so what's the right urgency level here and what's your assessment of how this plays out for the next ten to twenty years the dramatic truth is that those of us who are alive today we have in our hands decisions to make that will have enormous consequences for thousand generations to come. Tom and that sounds overly dramatic but it's the case. We're putting one hundred ten million tonnes every day of this heat. Trapping pollution into the sky stays there for a thousand years on average and it's trapping so much extra heat <hes> the amount of extra heat energy every day is equal to five hundred thousand or Rocha uh-huh class atomic bombs exploding every day. That's crazy but that's what we're doing. Now what I think you're getting at in the first part of your question is how do we see this. They're contracting interesting trend some good some bad <hes>. We're gaining momentum for the solutions but we're not yet gaining on the crisis crisis because the crisis is still getting worse faster than we are mobilizing solutions yet because we're gaining momentum we may soon have within our capacity the ability to gain on the problem there was a famous economists in the last century name. Rudy Dornbush who once said things take longer to happen than you think they will but then they happen much faster than you thought they could. I think think that it's likely to be true. Where are solutions to this crisis. It's taken longer than many of us thought. It would hoped it would anyway but. But I think that we're now getting to the point where it could happen faster than anybody can imagine to take one example <hes> when the cost of electricity <hes> pity from solar and win gets not only cheaper than electricity from Cohen Gas but way cheaper then no matter how much political political power the fossil fuel companies have it would just take a complete idiot to continue spending way more money than necessary to create dirtier and expensive electricity when you can have it for much cheaper when cleaner air and more jobs and I think we're right in that region now where we're going to see see this flip over and more rapid change. I hope that I'm not pollyannish or overly optimistic but that's the pattern I see unfolding right now. Let's talk about about how that seems to be happening a little bit. I mean if you look at investors. The big insurance firms Swiss re Munich REC- this changing catastrophic loss model we saw P._G.. Any go bankrupt <hes> because of the fire liability in California right. I mean some saying that's the I fortune five hundred climate bankruptcy. How important is this growing investor risk awareness in driving that positive change you talk about Oh. I think it's extremely important there was a story this this morning about the largest private investor black rock losing many billions on fossil fuel investments and they're still the largest fossil fuel in bed. I'm not picking on my in respect them a lot but there so many investors who are taking a close look at the fact that these carbon assets <unk> are really not that different from the subprime mortgages of a few years ago you know there were seven and a half million subprime mortgages meaning mortgages that it looked as if they were triple. A. Rated assets with a value that was based on <hes> false assumptions when actually they were worthless because they'd been given out to people that couldn't make monthly payments and good make down payments and there was a mass delusion and people finally pull pull back the layers of the onion enough to see the truth of it and they suddenly collapsed and that's what caused the credit crisis and then the great recession well. We've now got twenty two trillion dollars worth of carbon assets the reserves of coal and oil and gas and the stocks and these as multinational companies that are based on the assumption that all that fossil fuels going to be burnt well it can't be burn won't be burned not just because of some mm treaty or some law but because solar and wind is going to be much cheaper and efficiency is reducing the demand for what they're selling an electric cars or a progressively destroying the market for liquid petroleum assets and it's only a matter of time before they wake up to this the largest sovereign wealth fund in the world the Norwegian Fund which got all his money from oil and gas. They're really smart. They just announced they're going to divest one hundred percent for from oil and gas assets a so those who are taking the time to read the handwriting on the wall are coming to the conclusion that they need to get with this change and move onto into renewables and the sustainability revolution.
