"He's actually doing an honorable thing by being vocal about issues a lot of people don't want to discuss for bringing issues to the forefront when a lot of people what his platform would be very content with just looking at the world going around them I think that's honorable for someone to step out of what they're not required to do to try and make the world a better place for others now when it comes to Jim Dolan of the New York Knicks I can look at the totality of his tenure as as owner of the New York Knicks I can look at incidents throughout his tenure especially if you want to look through past years we he's growing mix legends like Charles Oakley out of the building can understand Charles Oakley may not always be the easiest person to get along with okay but you're also being combative with your own fanbase you're trying to drown out sounds and noises of fans yelling at you to sell the team you're kicking up fans from your own arena your own stadium because they don't agree with you and then you put out silly statements or pop or private statements they get leaked to the public well you just say what you know what we're business we don't have anything to do with social issues you know I kind of know everything I need to know about James Dolan and I can tell you personally I have not met and I know plenty of people who have played for the New York Knicks then you're not going to find too many mix but don't say he doesn't go above and beyond what you would expect from an owner Hey you need a little help getting a flight here Jim Dolan gotcha Hey you need a little bit of a higher amenities is the food not good enough Hey we got you do you need a little bit of help he's there for you but that doesn't mean that when you look at everything that he's done in its totality that he's been the good the the greatest mark of an owner or that he hasn't been someone with rabbit ears or highly sensitive to what's said about him and so the New York Knicks statement when I read it every one of us has a role to play in creating a more just and equal society where there is no racism bigotry violence or hate we stand with all who act for positive change I mean it sounds like Charlie brown's teacher to me I'm being honest and I also give you firsthand experience from someone who has grown up in New York City someone who has seen some of the workings of the New York Knicks organization someone who has seen their practice is someone who understands how the media department worked as recently as as two three years ago the New York Knicks have always come across as paranoid they've always come across as an organization that is tone deaf to what's going on even in their own city they come across as as not necessarily reaching out to the community as a whole I can hire John Starks Larry Johnson but what do the New York Knicks quarterback will do for the community what does your team the statements that they released what do they actually do for your community well the communities that don't necessarily or can't always afford to buy tickets okay it's a business you want that fan what do your actions match up with your words so in the case of the New York Knicks and the Rangers in Madison Square Garden company James Dolan I think he could have saved the statement it's worthless in that regard what good are your words if you are not willing to back them up we have a lot of athletes and teams talking and speaking right now but don't say anything if you don't mean it don't say anything if you're not going to come with actions behind it at best just shut up and what the world move forward with change without your full statements I'm gonna open up the phone lines right now eight five five two one two for CBS that's eight five five two one two for CBS do you believe that sports organizations do you believe teens should be required to take a stand on social issues I'm gonna say all it would be nice what it means nothing it means absolutely nothing if you don't combine it with action call me up let me know what you think the phone lines open eight five five two one two for CBS you're listening to the J. We had we had nothing, but talent really talented local people. Most talented newsroom ever worked in locally. We were last place our management stunk. You you couldn't take me from the warriors to Jim Dolan. I mean that would be like going from the patriots to the Al Davis six years ago, raiders, it's not gonna do it. If I given a choice as a quarterback not just as random offensive guard the quarterback they'd be like Brady going. You know what I'm done with ballot? Check. I'm going out. And I'm going to I want to live by the bay area. I'm gonna go to the the raiders six years ago. Raiders now much better than six years ago. At least they got hope and draft picks and stars. And I just don't know if I could do that. The warriors are that's how you run a franchise. They got the perfect star the codes, the GM the culture huge. I mean, you got Klay Thompson never says a word how many stars in the NBA are like that. Steph. Curry is the most. Redeem -able guy most accessible and amenable to change and other teammate star in sports. So you got the quietest star in the easiest star to work with and the coach has been in the media that deflects everything that was a player. God it's perfect. I mean, the only thing that got now is dream on green is a little crazy town. But he, but he's mostly harmless and the bottom line, you can make an argument that everybody on that team wear skinny jeans, and he's the one guy that can get into a fight that you kind of need. "But as complement for the centerpieces team right were developing right now, and you get guys like, you know, like Kevin Knox. And and this will Robinson Alonzo, right? And. You know Dotson on the whole team, right? Whoa. Might do you by Jim Dolan's enthusiasm for the Knicks? Young core by his enthusiasm for the young core, which you had to look up with didn't know his team about as much as by him saying he was ambushed in the arena when he was seeing beckoning on tape. Beckoning the person over who said sell the team. There's no reason to believe anything out of Jim dollas. Jim I'm with you with that do the jump. I'm Georgia Donohoe in for fearless leader Rachel Nichols alongside Marc spears of the undefeated. And the goat Michael will bond from. Thank you there. It is coming up. Six extraordinary Lou will joins us in studio to talk about breaking the all time bench scoring record. And the secret to the clippers surprising success. You don't wanna miss that? But I I was asked recently, do you think LeBron regret signing with the Lakers? I don't personally and contrary to popular opinion. I think LeBron did know what he was getting into this season. If you don't believe me, listen to his agent and close confidante rich. Paul this episode of more than an athlete on ESPN. Plus. You like he'll bro- short is the right move. And I said, let's go through this exercise. If you if you stay in your lose ten games in a row, you're going to be like damn maybe actually went to fill your LA. If you go to Philly and lose ten games role. You play damn maybe I should have stayed and went to LA. But if you go to LA, and you lose ten games role is like what we've got to figure. This thing out. So they have it. So now, LeBron and the Lakers are in the let's figure this out stage. The question is how what's the plan well to steal a phrase from the Sixers Lakers need a real process or at the very least a different one this past off season. Magic Johnson rap Lincoln decided to z while everyone was zagging prior to this season for over a decade teams that had LeBron James's there centerpiece figured out that you need to surround O'Brien with mostly shooters can open up space for him and make opponents pay for doubling him. That was true in the latter stages of his first in Cleveland Histon in Miami. And again in Cleveland, the Lakers were adamant about not being like Cleveland and surrounding LeBron with playmakers. Well, how that workout not so great the Lakers big five region. Acquisitions this summer, not name. Lebron James finishing the bottom five in net rating this season. So they were the worst thing coronation of themselves when those guys were on the floor. This is the basketball version of basically trying to reinvent the wheel. We forget that as great as Magic Johnson has been. Literally almost everything he's done in his life. He's new at this particular role. He's a rookie. And let's face it made a few rookie mistakes. That's fine. The clock is ticking. And LeBron isn't getting any younger the pressure is on magic, and rob Pelinka to Subroto surround LeBron James with teammates this summer that can help him compete for championships as implausible the alleged plan this off season star-hunting again, that's fine. Just a word to the wise just can't rely on Lakers exceptionalism to make that happen because it's our friend Kevin arnovitz wrote this week if you you look at the last six years the Lakers have the worst record in the NBA in that span the worst not very exceptional. So gentlemen is the Lakers strategy of swinging for the fences the right approach this season. This approach you can have in Los Angeles with the Lakers and the fan base demands. That. Swinging for the fences means going as big as you can to get as far as you can that season. That is the only approach that the patrons will accept in Los Angeles from this team can build incrementally a process even Lakers to have like a six year be awful tank every season process..

"Ago yesterday, right here is a big story today about Madison Square Garden, Jane stolen, the owner of the Knicks. And the Rangers report came out a couple of weeks ago that the niche Rangers and Madison Square Garden for sale if you can right Jim Dolan, a four billion dollar check today. You can have a Jim Dolan came out yesterday or the day before and said, that's not true. I'm not selling the Knicks on not selling the Rangers are not selling Madison Square Garden, but going back to the Gordon eighty years ago yesterday, the Nazis had a huge event thousands and thousands of Nazis and Nazi supporters filled Madison Square Garden in New York. That's. Downstairs. Yeah. And then it was a Jewish guy from Brooklyn who actually rushed the stage because he was angry. And he got the crap kicked out of he took a beating not like Smolin. This was a real beating by the Nazis onstage. The cops. Basically, let it go. All this the Nazis celebrating at the old going in New York City eighty years ago yesterday to be fascinating. Fascinated. It's almost in retrospect, of course, it's it's gross. It's it's inexplicable that they would allow to have a, but it was before it was before war broke out. It was actually before World War Two. Even in Europe broke out. Hitler was already has been doing stuff yet for six years. He was actually I think when they held that. Molly the garden he was finishing or the very least in the middle of building the concentration camps. Yes. He was I I'm not sure if people were aware of it at the time, but the war break out until September first of that year was nineteen thirty nine right. And so. So they will you know, again, they were just another fringe group out there. But they were they were huge. And they rented Madison, I was aware of all this. It was packed like a knick game. The Germans were into it. They thought again look at where we're on the rebound Germany's great again this and that, but it turned out that it was more than just that. It was a lot more a lot. It was left. That's that's the understatement of the year. Well, one of the stories that also came to services weekend is something you, and I have talked about for a long time. And you even say all the time, it really starts right here on the college campuses CUNY Sunni, you name it. And that is a statistical report that says that antisemitic crimes or want to rise on a huge rise here in New York. So when you couple that with what I saw yesterday eighty years ago, the Nazis if you Jewish person living in New York kinda depressing. Yeah. Well, it sucks, but and then you've got all these Democrats in Iowa or running for president who could have very easily been at Madison Square Garden eighty years ago yesterday, aided aid and abet the Jew haters of today and even yesterday, you had Louis Farrakhan came out, in fact, it was Sunday. And he said he talked about to leave and all they have nothing to apologize for. It's all about Benjamin. Did he actually say I didn't bother Matt was working single flying solo acts of together? But yeah, Farrakhan did say that so yeah, you gotta stay on the alert demand. They just it's just a resist anti-semitism rears its ugly, head constantly in societies across the globe. For some reason in in in this being allowed to fester. And it started again as you just pointed out of college campuses here years ago, and that's where it really breathes brazenly. And now it's starting to has infested the Democratic Party to the point where people are afraid to distance themselves from the Jew haters in the party that throw a clear and present Jew. Hater who just got elected off, the house foreign affairs committee that is an outrage that she's allowed to stay on that house foreign affairs committee because it wasn't the first time she she made an anti-semitic tweet. And by the way, this is a woman who this do this United States this racist bigoted United States rescued from a refugee camp in Kenya. This woman this'll congresswoman Omar, and this is the thanks. We get no good deed goes unpunished, thirty seconds. Here's Frank in the Bronx online one quickly Frank good morning. Good morning. I mean evil is not the worst in history. We have hate rallies all the time in this country minister Farrakhan, three choose, you know, basically, the elimination of the Jews just like a like a black Hitler each arenas. All the time. There's no question about it. Yeah. Yeah. Keep it on the DL. Seventy.

"And are you betting on David Fidel who everybody likes and was part of those Miami championship teams. But he hasn't been the head coach winning anything. Right. It was before the collapse last year in Memphis. And now this nice little run that one year Memphis with what did he say? Yeah. But then he also did he also stop getting along with Marcus soul? And that's why he lost his job. That's what they start. So like, look I like phys I think physical coast everybody thinks he's a good, dude. And I think he's a pretty good coach. But you got Brad Stevens. You got kind of burden hand is better than one in the Bush. So let's see if Brad Stevens impresses him in the in the postseason where he was like, whoa. I'm in on Brad. Because playoff Brad is playoff flacco. It's a little bit higher level than everybody else. I look anyone who says they know right now, I believe is either leave is lying. They just they want their opinion heard because those guys don't know they may think it's a cool idea, but cool ideas, and does it actually happen. There's a big gap between the even talk around the league talked to GM's and executives for other. They're speculating does. Nobody knows for sure what these guys are gonna do. And as much as I said yesterday, I would love to see K D try to win four. Straight in gold say to win this year, and then go to New York or something but four straight is tough. There's a reason nobody's done it since Bill Russell because not only the physical challenge of doing it. But mentally the fatigue. We've already seen tension between K D And Draymond green like kin this desert group even wanna come back together for a fourth run Atta title, I don't know. So I think Doug, I think I'm a little more. I guess optimistic would be the word that kyri Katie do end up in New York. Then you are. I think it's also interesting that there was a story about the possibility of Jim Dolan selling the Knicks which he shot down because there is some feeling still in the NBA, even though he has nothing to do with basketball. Right. One of the things he did a couple years ago. That's the mistake with Phil Jackson. He's like hiring the best. Let them run it. And Phil Jackson ran ran it into the ground yet again. But Jim dole has nothing to do with basketball. But it did you know, he got into it with Charles Oakley and that was ugly. And I think there is that sense. Where do I wanna go play and make Jim Dolan some more money or do? I not the other part that I think is interesting is I'm not sure I would trade time Williamson for Anthony Davis. Really? I mean, look if you goes to I have those two O Zion. I wouldn't do it. If I didn't if I don't get a free agent. I'm not trading Zion. Anthony, obviously, not no question. He's a meal ticket. That's put a billion dollars into that arena. And he's gonna fill it every night. But if you think of who he really is he's not LeBron James what is is. If you took Draymond green. And he gave the athleticism of Blake Griffin early in his career. And then you gave him a little bit of Charles Barkley in his ability to score in the round the post and a little a little bit of LeBron's kind of some of his ball handling. But he's not LeBron James player. That's what he could be no question and in in two thousand nineteen into two thousand twenty. And beyond NBA basketball has changed. If you go back ten years ago fifteen years ago, he would have had to go down a position he would have to be three in the NBA. He's a four five. He's draymond. He'll play five when you play small ball hip play four you're starting lineup..

"Here's your host, Patrick Crayton. I'm going to say something that I never thought I'd say as long as Jim Dolan on the Knicks. They might have gotten the deadline, right? Traded poisoning. Guess who didn't want to be there? And look the the rift between prisoners the Knicks have been going on for a couple of years. The Knicks right now. According to track dot com have for next season, seventy four and a half million dollars cap space. Now, if they were to say goodbye, Lance Thomas, they'd pick up another six and a half million dollars. That would take them to eighty one million dollars cap space. They could say Alonzo tree-ring Damian Dotson and pick up another five million dollars that takes them to eighty six million dollars. In cap space. That's enough for two max deals. In fact, it's enough for two max deals and. And another deal. Now here is where it got interesting because they chose not to buy out the Andre Jordan. Deandre Jordan looked like he was guaranteed to be a buy out the next thing. Just gonna clear buddy out. Now they bought out his canter and they bought out west Matthews, but they decided to keep the Andre Jordan. And at the time it was well, why would the Knicks keep de'andre Jordan? And then there's this rumor going around that John trae Jordan and Kevin Durant happened to be buddies. And they're hoping de'andre Jordan. Would help recruit. Kevin durant? New York City. And at first glance, it's well, they don't have enough money to re sign the Andrey Jordan. Why would you Andre Jordan help recruit? Kevin durant? If he's not going to be back because a peak at he signed a one year deal with the maps. All right. Well, it was a one year deal. So why is this idea that Andre Jordan's gonna stick around New York? How is how does that work? Here's my question about the max contracts PC that we say that they have room for to match contracts. But it's giving the max contracts to the right guys. Do you go into the market knowing that? Kevin Durant is your number one priority. Get him at all costs, which means you keep deandre Jordan. Around. Could you say that you've got this to max contracts, plus another contract if that's the difference between getting Durant and not getting him? You make him priority. One right. You have to have all this money in the world. But you know, if you spend it on the wrong guys, it's flushing it down the toilet. Right. But nobody's getting amac's contractor, deandre, Jordan. No, no, no. I'm not saying he's getting a max contract. But you, but you were saying that they've got they've got to max contracts. They've got the opportunity for to max contracts, and then another contract would he fall into that other contract category because he's not a max guy. No, he's not. And this is where it gets interesting because remember Jordan opted out of his deal with the clippers. He signed a one year deal with the Mavericks, but. This is where it gets interesting. The Steve Tyler buddy with basketball insiders tweeted out that. Somehow, and I'm I'm saying somehow somehow. De'andre Jordan's contracts still has bird rights, and I don't understand how. But the idea being if Jordan's contracts still comes with bird rights. That's a game changer for the Knicks. Well, his cap hold is going to be ugly onc- signs. The cap then becomes whatever every signs for. That it's possible. That if the Knicks were able to get the two big stars to come in that they could sign Jordan to a low dollar deal for you know, twenty nineteen and then in twenty twenty reward him with a bigger long term contract deal because they'd have rights. That's absolute game changer because it means you could land two main stars and keep the Andre Jordan in the middle. Even though he can't hit a foul shot to save his life. He still a terrific defender rebounders shot blocker does all the things. He doesn't demand the basketball on offense. But you you don't you don't need him to be a great free throw shooter. If he's going to work within the context of the new players that you're going to be bringing in. Nobody would be nice if he could do like fifty percent. I mean, I don't think that's asking a lot. Deandra jordan. Tends to shoot terribly from the foul line believe it or not. But we see a lot of guys. I I mean, it's like low hanging fruit. But she said the shock would with hover around fifty Jordan's had seasons under forty percent. Seasons. Those are like Jared Dudley numbers. However this year he's actually shooting almost sixty eight percent from the line. So they've worked with them on it. Just look just be an okay foul shooter. So that you know, when you don't have to come off the floor at the end of the game because it's going to be, you know, hacker hacker plans. Let's say you're talking about the Knicks going out and signing. Kevin Durant, and Kyrie Irving. Right or Kevin Durant? Klay Thompson or Kevin Durant and another big time. Free agent. And then you're able to keep de'andre Jordan. Because while they don't have a ton of the Knicks don't really have a ton of players under contract next year. I gotta believe Frank. No Aquinas probably getting traded, which means that's another five million dollars off is Jordan. The only guy from that deal. Dallas area to keep. Yes. Everybody will know Dennis Smith. Dennis Smith junior is is is going to be like one of the main. He's going to be a Nick for a long time. Have you seen how? Well, he's playing to. Oh, absolutely. Yeah. I meant outside of the obvious Dennis Smith. I apologize. We know that you're going to keep down a Smith. It will will be there. And it looks like the Andre Jordan could still be there right now for next season. The the only Knicks on the roster that you think are still going to be there. Dennis Smith junior. Kevin knox. And maybe Mitchell Robinson who's a twenty one year old center, and then de'andre Jordan like that's it. Everybody else is gone. And then if you're able to add Durant, and then another big whichever other big star. It is. You've got six players. That's a lot of dudes who are coming over on minimum contracts on rookie deals. Oh. And by the way, imagine they get the number one pick and you're adding Zion. Williamson they are going to get the number one pick. It's not going to Phoenix it sure as hell is not going to Cleveland last year. I know you can't have a two years in a row unless you're LeBron. And you're playing in Cleveland, that's the only way you get the number one pick two years in a row. Well, it's going to New York. It's. Chicago. It's not going to Phoenix. It's going. Lebron wasn't on the Cavs. When they got a two years in a row. But the Cavs getting two years in a row, the magic landing the two bishops and penny. Yeah. There are the idea of the Knicks possibly having Dennis Smith junior. Kyrie Irving Zion. Williamson K D. And de'andre, Jordan. The knicks. Suddenly are. One of the top teams in the Eastern Conference. As a knick fan. I would be ecstatic. And I really hope that being good would make James Dolan fell. Because if anybody could ruin a good thing Jim Dolan, you know, who would look really good and Knicks uniform. Who would look really good in an annex? Uniform. Don't say Andrew Wiggins says I'll vomit. You just want to do anything to get him out of Minnesota. Please Lord God. We'll take some used basketballs and a bag if I feel like I'm Ricky Bobby from Talladega nights. Oh, please. Lord. Eight pound five ounce sweet cute adorable, baby Jesus. Please allow Glenn Taylor move that maximum contract from Andrew Wiggins. We know it's a mistake below the hell Karl Anthony towns, please. Amen. And this is it so hard to think of the idea that. That the Knicks could actually do something. Right. I mean, this is this is difficult to comprehend. Let let me bouncing another idea off your hair, right? Because we know the Knicks are going all for Katie. What if Kyrie Irving wants to go to L A and play LeBron and rekindle their relationship, right? Could they try to pivot to Leonard? But hasn't said that it's going to be L A or bust. Because he wants to go home and see the I think the thing though, if I'm co- why? And I can't go to LA. Why would I go to New York? Why don't you stay in Toronto? Because in New York, you've got Kevin Durant. And if you can win a lot of games in Toronto with Kyle Lowry. What could you do with Kevin Durant? And there are certain things about kuwa- because. Yeah, he's talked about L A because that's where he's from. And he wants to go back home. But. If you've got a better shot to win in New York and co is the guy who's always feeling disrespected about his endorsement deals. Well, you wanna talk about you know, the biggest market in the world. Well, that's why I don't understand people pooh-poohing going to New York because it's the biggest market in the world. It doesn't have the weather and the the luxurious amenities that that LA house. Just doesn't have the beaches. Well, it's New York though. I mean, you gotta go out to the island for the beaches. But and yeah, you actually have winter in New York, which you don't have an LA not not like New York, but to play with Kevin Durant to be in New York to be marketed like a champion to have a chance to win does playing in Toronto and winning basketball games. Again, make him not wanna go to a team that's gonna struggle but can be marketed though. Naps. Absolutely. You could be marketed as the anti marketable guy and New York will sell like champions. We had more into this next SP..

That's why the Knicks at the last second backed out of a deal with Kyle Lowry. What was that like three or four years? Yes. Yup. I think it was. In fact, it might have been Tim Hardaway future number-one pick Kyle Lowry and ended up and they ended up not making. That's right. Yeah. How much who's really running the show airs Scott Perry really running a basketball operations or not. I think you know, they're all involved. I mean, I think it Steve mills Jim Dolan, Scott. Dawn is still involved. All right. Stop stop stop, stop, stop the more. He tells you that he's not involved. Stop. All right. Banning people from showing up at the press conference, the guy from the daily news stuff, and Bobby you think that's Steve mills was called. Now. That's true. But he doesn't like he doesn't like the daily news. That's Jim Dolan. Yeah. Yeah. Yeah. So you think you think Steve mills cares who shows up at his or who's on the conference call for the trade. That's Tim Dolan being a week after he said was quoted as saying how much he's changed and he defends his brother says how much she defensive first amendment. He's banning people from show from. L? Let me say right now when they try to sell Durant if they have to do that try to sell him on Knicks Dolan should not be involved in the selling. Should he should he not be? He's gonna probably wanna be remember the one thing about Durant. His agent is rich climbing New Yorker, right? The time Nick fan with posters of Mark Jackson. He's got that Royal Ivey on staff. I understand. Yeah. And maybe you know, there there's still a feeling that maybe rich climbing could maybe I think you'd probably have to take each pay cut. But he, you know, he did say one time that he wanted to run the Nick, right? I have no idea if there's if there's a job off on the idea of an agent thing involved in an NBA team. It's happened before rob Pelinka in LA. Bob myers. We see what Brody wagon and with the Mets and baseball. And the one thing about the agents, they know the salary cap back and forth and agents are very good at knowing the value of players believe me, they're gonna always like kind of advocate, bright guys. Obviously like your agent advocates for you. But they they know they're pretty sharp when it comes to the cap and knowing like how good players are. And what the value of players can be. They're very good at that. I before I let you go Senator John Durant and Kyrie Irving coming here. Fifty twenty five southbound five you I think they're all I think the players are so unpredictable today. And what they'll do. I'll put a fifty fifty. I have no idea. What kinda I I think in the case of Kevin Durant everybody that knows them. They say that his his he changes his mind every two minutes kyri in a very Kawai, Leonard kind of way, not that. It's a bad thing. I think they're both kind of a little flaky. So they're impossible to figure out. And then Anthony Davis, of course, would have to be traded. So that he did he really doesn't have control of it. I I definitely think the Knicks play. And if the Knicks didn't get these guys, wouldn't it wouldn't shock me. But the Knicks are certainly all in the mid the next bus. No, something for them to make the strike or or strongly believe that they know something I'll tell you right now if he's if Kevin Durant sides for Dallas. He says he wants to play with that would be the Joe beningo special, by the way. Patriots winning got stop off patriots. What's what's wrong with you? Frank. Not like Tom Brady and Bill. I don't I don't Mike doesn't like. Tremendous tremendous respect for both the best that ever dated Bella checks, the greatest coach, maybe the greatest coach in history of any sport. Not just the NFL clearly football. No doubt about it. But you know, what sixty nowadays used to say eight is enough the old TV show. Six is enough. Now, frank. Did it kind of reminded me of Kobi's last championship at the Lakers. And it kind of reminded me a little bit of began keys the last one that they want. So you kind of start up a little bit like the end of the road. They look this way. Frank from your lips to God's. The only differences the gang keys and the Lakers didn't play in the AFC paycheck. Pretty good for them. It does help Frank. Always a pleasure, bro. You know? All right, y'all talk. All right. The great Frank. I saw eight seven seven.

"And so. For the back story on that is in terms of supporting Maggie. She said some comments about Jim Dolan, the New York Knicks owner a couple months ago where truly just sort of called doling out for. A number of issues in including. Some what she sort of considered with some hypocrisy, especially around the new nuke route Sander situation, you can Google all that I'm not gonna sort of go through that because it would take too much time. In response, James Dolan, ordered basically businesses around the country to shutdown working with Entercom. That's WFAN's parent company. I think ban Nixon Rangers players and MSG broadcasts from peering on WFAN as well. So basically, you know, took maggie's comments, which I thought were legit, and, you know, went sort of nuclear, I guess that's his right, but ultimately massive bullying act. So I certainly supported Maggie and support her on that. And so what I do wanna do though is you know, in in tweeting that to a couple of colleagues. I think I gave the indication that. There was nobody Sports Illustrated who stepped up for Maggie gray publicly, and that was not the case. So I totally apologize for that. I got to be better with my language in terms of being specific. So as I found out after the fact there were many people from Sports Illustrated who definitely tweeted some public support out of people who privately reached out to Maggie. So that was a bad job by me. You know, I always want organizations to especially someone who's been greatest MAG gray. You want him to step up in mass for her? And so there were people who did that. And so I should have been more careful if I was going to be specific sort of pointed out someone specific as opposed to tag, the whole organization so my apologies on that. Listen I worked for Sports Illustrated for nineteen years. That's a place. I basically grew up in professionally I spent more hours at that office than I did at my house by a lot and I care about that place. So. So the people called me out privately on that. I got a cell phone that they were they right to do that. And finally Maggie grated. Not tell me at all to do this. And I know she heard from a couple of people thinking that she put me up to that. She did not Magritte as a need to put her up to anything. She's fantastic. So that was all me and my doing I've screwed up on Twitter before I will screw up again. But but it apologies to those colleagues who were pissed off by that comment, especially those who who who supported Maggie. I understand how you feel and you know, I'll try to be more careful with my language, but there's no doubt I'm gonna screw up on Twitter again. That is for certain. All right. So that's over four. So we'll end it. Boy. I don't know if loophole green still listening, but I would longer than I thought I did. All right. So for loophole grano for James, Andrew Miller. This is Richard dyke. We will see you in twenty nineteen on the sports media puck..
