subscriber daily where to come there's a good shot your letter is in today's mailbag Tyler says I have a friend who's a vegetarian for ethical reasons but is aggressively pro choice I'm considering pointing out what seems to me to be a contradiction is you how did you make the pro life case to a person things it is murder exploitation the meat that holds that a woman should have the choice to terminate a pregnancy well yeah I mean it seems like a pretty obvious case the question is do you think that animal life and human life are the same if you think that they are then treating an animal like a human being even prenatally might be worthwhile if you think that humans are worth more than animals but you don't eat animals anyway which is a perfectly plausible moral position if you believe that and certainly should be anti abortion ads because they would feel if if and if an elephant reported I remember that there there's three ultrasound images of elephants in utero that were floating around National Geographic like three four years ago and that was all my gosh look at that that's amazing and if you ask them okay how would you feel if we just you know covered up the elephant sucked it out just flushing down the sink exactly yep flushing down the sink people be like oh god that sounds terrible why would you possibly do that but when it comes to our baby than obviously the math changes a little bit it definitely shows the convenience of the pro abortion position which really is about willful blindness more than it is about any sort of moral principle Amy says I have to know how and Taylor loft for you so deeply hurt you so deeply this is an excellent question so the reason I suppose that Amy is asking this question is because I always make fun of Elizabeth Warren's sweaters she's like dog from the old Nickelodeon cartoon a double open his closet and he would always have the same set of sweater vest and white shirt and khaki shorts maybe like seven of them and that's Elizabeth Warren said she has sort of a rainbow hued variety of Antill aloft sweaters and so I always make fun of rainy until a loss and then me bell again Taylor loft got my stuff I got my stuff perfect for a mature woman I'm Elizabeth Warren's age all I'm pointing out is that I'm fairly certain I know where it was before and shops and says what do you think about laws preventing retailers to provide plastic bags for free does your opinion changed instead of this being a law to start policy will obviously my opinion changes if it is store policy as opposed to it being the law I do not like laws that compel stupid policy if you want to embrace the superpowers yourself I suppose you could do that but let's be real about this okay the plastic bag bans are idiotic idiotic in the moronic they actually are not even good for the environment there's a great piece by John turning over at city journal I read it yesterday about the perversity of the panic over plastic any points out that the plastic panic is not justified by reality he says the growing amount of plastic debris in the sea is a genuine problem but it is not caused by our throwaway society environmental group cited statistic that eighty percent of plastic debris in the oceans comes from land based sources a good evidence never support that estimate and recent research paints a different picture after painstakingly analysing debris in the north central Pacific Ocean or converging currents creating garbage Pacific and the great Pacific garbage patch a team of scientists from four continents reported in twenty eighteen and more than half the plastic came from fishing boats mostly discarded nets and other gear these just cards are a great threat to a marine animals because they're not getting brand my plastic bags they get entangled in the nets also the plastic that is discarded on manta does end up in the ocean it's not coming from the US or Europe most of it is coming from Asia because it turns out that governments like China don't care these wash that crap right into the sea instead of putting it in a protected landfill also the notion when you recycle plastic preventing it from polluting the oceans it is not true municipalities originally expected to make money selling the plastic waste to local recyclers but instead they had to pay to get rid of it mostly by Shinya to Asian countries with low labor cost will then proceed to wash it into the sea so your your recycling your stop in again since China and I'm trying to just like those in the ocean which is just fantastic also the notion that single use plastic bags are the worst environmental choices at the supermarket wrong according to this promise in city journal they are the best choice high density polyethylene bags are Marvel of economic engineering and environmental efficiency they're cheap and convenient they are waterproof they're strong enough to hold groceries but then and light enough that they require scans energy water other natural resources manufacturing transport also most people typically reuse them as trash can liners which is right right we do that my house once discarded they take a virtually no room in the landfill and affected they're not biodegradable that's good not bad why well because when you put biodegradable waste in landfill you know that does that increases greenhouse gases by decomposing paper and cotton bags the bank's tiny quantity of carbon extracted from natural gas goes back underground and then to safely sequestered from the atmosphere in a modern landfill but the starting running every other grocery bag has a bigger environmental impact has repeatedly demonstrated by environmental life cycle analyses of the bags and by surveys of consumer behavior as far as reusing tote bags people do it but not as often as they plan to one survey found consumers forget to bring the bags to the supermarket half the time which is certainly true by the way to offset the initial carbon footprint on the cotton tote bag you have to use it a hundred and seventy three times mostly people use it like fifteen times environmentalists who look at these numbers advise greens to shun cotton bags in favor of plastic tote bags which is a slight net plus but one of the problems is when consumers are deprived of bags they were using as bin liners actually start buying plastic substitutes that are thicker the bottom line is these plastic bag bans are not only stupid they're counterproductive they do not even achieve that which they seek to achieve Daniel says I've been a long time fan and supporter absolutely love your show I have a question about why the **** party is usually referred to as the far right when the **** party should for national socialist workers party the answer is a difference between the United States and Europe by American standards the **** are are left in part because the right wing in the United States police to Berkeley in a small limited government relegated to performing specific functions and that is very anti **** ran in the **** party was all about government intervention is an economy and corporatism the reason they're considered right is because in Europe basically Germany had broken down between the Reds and Browns and so the only two choices that were on the ballot in for example the nineteen thirty two German elections were the **** the brown shirts and the Reds the communist and so if you are not communists are considered right wing because in comparison with common everybody was right wing so you have the **** attacking the comments in the Commons technologies and that was the difference between right and left to the **** in comparison to the communist right wing because many of them were Christian many of them believed in higher standards of it higher sort of social standards like they they kick back against what they considered degradation of culture but in many of them questions I don't mean that the leadership of the **** party was question was not or that the leadership of the **** party treat Christianity well it did not what I mean is that in contravention of the pitch of communism which was atheist in orientation not you were not at the beginning overtly anti Christian in quite the same way they quickly became overtly anti Christian in a very different way okay with that said the **** were only right wing by European standards they were not right wing by American standards under any stretch of the imagination and she pretends that the **** right wing by American standards is to completely miss understand American conservatism which in Europe would be called classical liberalism well then this is what our thought some private prisons I feel like the only one that has the potential good and benefit to them in being able to afford higher quality facilities health care and rehabilitation resources and state run corrections cannot afford the general problem of private prisons I don't as long as they're held responsible for towards him as long as there's a good oversight mechanism the basic idea that that everything has to be run the of the state I don't know why state run prisons are considered any better than private prisons I haven't seen tremendous evidence to that effect Brad asked do you think this newfound opposition to Bernie Sanders within the media and democratic parties because they've realized that having an actual Marxist in office is bad for the country or they just afraid of losing thanks in the there are some Democrats who actually have ideologically antagonistic views or comments my do I think there's some Democrats believe this and James Carville is is one of these people by the way I think I know a lot of Democrats are not pro communist for most of American history Democrats were not pro communist from the Cold War many of the greatest comedies fighters remember Gratz but I think that for a large part of the.

N. S. S. radio dot job brought to you by disingenuous tensions are cross again news happens you'll hear it here first ninety eight seven and thirteen thirty K. E. N. S. at the following is pre recorded and this station has been compensated to air this program and now it's time it's a new day at some church Esther gill right well I welcome you again this morning to some a church and I'm beginning a new sermon series this morning called god questions what would you really like to ask god I think a number of us could come up with a number of things today as I begin the series of messages call god questions I want to deal with the question what are you really like god what are you really like and I'd like for you to turn if you would to exodus the second book of the Bible and open your bibles to chapter three and I want us to stand together out of respect for god's word and we're going to read just these two verses Moses said to god suppose I go to the Israelites and say to them the god of your fathers has sent me to you and they asked me what is his name then what shall I tell the god said to Moses I am who I am this is what you are to say to the Israelites I am has sent me do you let's pray heavenly father take these words that Moses spoke as he was talking to the Israelites about leaving Egypt as he was trying to lead them from the bondage they were in there as he was trying to get the pharaoh to release them when he went to the people and said your goddess at me we know they had many questions what god who are you talking about lord today is we've read your words you answered that question for Moses and I'm sure when he went before the people he said I am has sent me help us father today to understand more who you are when we leave this place so I know there are many here who are hurting I know there are many here who have different problems and situations and circumstances they're dealing with and I know father sometimes I feel like there's no light at the end of the tunnel and I know many times they think the last thing you would ever do would be care about them and their situation but father I pray when we leave today they will realize who you really are I pray it and I ask in Jesus name a man you may be seated what I would like to ask god is what are you really like a six year old little girl was working feverishly at the kitchen table drawing on a sketch pad and her mom said Jamie water you drawing she says I'm drawing a picture of god and your mom said while Jamie nobody knows what god looks like she said they will when I'm through I love children but a lot of us have drawn our own pictures of god haven't we in fact Voltaire the French French agnostic one said god created man in his own image and then my and returned the favor think about that some of the ways that we picture god are usually way off base because we have reshaped god in the images that we think he ought to look like rather than what he is really lie so as we explore this question this morning what are you really like god I want to begin by exploding in eliminating some myths about god's true identity message number one I would deal with is that god is an eager bell hop you know in France they call them con Sears and in some fancy places they have different names but that's the first minute that god is an eager bell hop one of the pleasures of spending a night in an exclusive hotel is enjoying the services or bell hop he's there when you need him he's always by your side he Kerry's your baggage in your luggage she never argues with you because you are in charge and what is his responsibility to make you happy and what does he get for all of his work he gets a smile I'm not of encouragement thank you and if he's lucky you get to tip and you know in many cases it seems that people view god in our universe in that way that is much like a dividing the bell hop and that as soon as they have a need all they have to do is dial room service and then god will come running to fill their every wish my brother Joe why would you think that well because I meet many people often times to say their members of the church but I made them when there's a funeral or there's an emergency are they want a wedding done or they want a baptism but they never seem to come when they don't need something they only are looking for a job when they need him to provide something for them and if god doesn't serve them in the manner they expect they become very frustrated and very unhappy and even many times will withhold their two friends god is sovereign he is not are dividing little bell hop running around doing whatever we want do you remember what he said in Isaiah chapter fifty five verse eight for my thoughts are not your thoughts sh neither are your ways my ways do you ever have the view of god that he's be holding to you we don't use that word very often we used to use it a lot when I was growing up we would talk about people being be holding to you do you think god owes you something that he's under an obligation to serve you is that the way you look at gar if we begin to view god as an eager bell hop exists to fulfill every whim that we have we demean his character and we trample his sovereignty myth number two says that god is a demanding drill sergeant do we have any ex marines here this morning well you know what I'm talking about them those real sergeant H. who's one destiny in life is to ruin everybody else's life for awhile that's what they do and many people think of god as a drill sergeant who is trying to ruin our life he is watching every single move just waiting for them to get out of line or out of step to make them suffer in instead of seeing the Christian life as an abundant life is a life to be lived in the full they have this tragic picture of god who has no joy no peace only fear and discipline and resentment many who think this way come from churches lacked the one church mythical writer garrison Keillor describes in many of his novels and fictional stories lake lake while the gone remember they called one of the churches there our lady of perpetual responsibility all they hear about is what god wants you to do and all they can the here are the words of a drill sergeant saying move it move it you call that for you get out and give me fifty pushups right now and you begin to see god as this drill sergeant under those people Jesus says in Matthew eleven twenty eight Hey come to me all you who are weary and heavy laden and I will give you rest he is not a drill sergeant he wants what's best for you he wants you happy you want you satisfy myth number three I think it says that god is an impersonal scientists he is just an impersonal scientists you know what I mean far away in an isolated think tank in the university there are scientists to explore and theorize about the wonders of the universe and they have incredible Natalie Jen they have made great discoveries and they have taken great strides in unraveling the mysteries of the universe but don't ask them don't ask them how to change a light bulb because you will be able to understand their complex instruction and many people view god like that he is this huge intellectual and he's really no earthly good they had knowledge that he did great things at one time but now they think of god is spending his time locked away in some heavenly laboratory working on some kind of noble wonders and you really can't relate to a god like that and friends that is exactly why god came to earth in the person of Jesus Christ to let you know who you can relate to the god of the universe it says in Hebrews chapter four verse fifteen for we do not have a high priest talking about Jesus Christ who is unable to sympathize with our weaknesses but we have one who has been tempted in every way just as we are yet was without shield we can identify with this personal god he is not some impersonal scientist locked away in some laboratory of the universe well miss number four I think says that god is quite a fantastic magician that's what god is like he's kinda like the David Copperfield of the sky he does the impossible pick a planet any planet you know they thank god is always performing Trixie divide defies all natural law and he's easy to watch because he's so incredibly entertaining even some Christians thank the gods must always worked through signs and spectacular power Eckels and wonders and if there is no demonstration of miraculous miracles and power they conclude that god really isn't involved now are those although our god is a god of might and although our god is a god of power and although our god can do anything he ever do more often he chooses to make himself less known through much simpler means Elijah was a prophet who was depressed because he thought he was the only one who understood and recognized god and the heathens we're going to killing and he was hiding Elijah was hiding in a cave and god said a large I want you to go and stand outside the key and I'm gonna pass by and I'm going to speak to you and it says that a lot I just stood there on a mighty wind came rushing by that tore apart the mountain and broke the trees but god was not in the wind then there was a violent earthquake it says in the earth shook can everything shook around him but god was not in the earthquake then the and all consuming fire burned up everything in this slide but god was not in the fire but then came a gentle.

There isn't a late scratch so we're trade will sit out today and come back for the turf writers but <hes> speaks well for worse inventory right now particularly at the higher level. You know the the one unfortunate part is optimus prime news the highway off the nominations and <hes> he was injured last work before this race has been looking forward to this race. He's he's top rated towards the country at the moment <hes> but he's on the shelf shelf for the rest of the year with that with his exit <hes> that literally opus go wide. It's a wide open race. <hes> the great petting opportunity for sure for those that like that on the jumper as it's a way you can make a case for any number. "So we're hoping the hoping he runs a big one. That's great insight into the way that you think about things on the breeding side of the business that Ben horse players. Wouldn't even necessarily occur to them that put your horse player had on. Sean where where you're outside of your, putting your horse aside, what is your view on this year's Travers? Well, I pure handicapping and then I have history to kind of go back on and and for me, I'm gonna try to be good magic here. It's, you know, over over the over the years, going from the hassles, Travers has been very difficult has to ask of horses, and it hasn't been always the the most positive move. So in that form, I'm going to try to beat the horse, which I think he he go off, you know, sixty five. I don't think goes off even money by any means, but we definitely be heavy favourite. I'm gonna draw lines, Jim dandy rates. I wasn't impressed by that race. The number came Hoffer the day before one hundred. One of the Jim. Danny came back around ninety four kind of blanket finish being Royal, came running late, which he likes to every once in a while. So that's not that's gonna try us as race to to use against. I keep falling on on about two horses, and I really think Philly's doing as good as any horse in the race. She's proven over the distance. She gets. Break leading jock on or bullet work last time out. I'm all over the Philly, but I'm also applies on king Zachary. He's a horse that I was at the met win, and it was like a wild performance like who was that in each showing a lot of town throughout string had a little bit of of unlucky races. I don't know if you saw during during the the post position, draw Romans attributed his Indiana derby to bleeding, so you'd never bled his life, but he blood in that race and that's why didn't run well and ever since he's gotten Saratoga, you can see that work pattern that cool air up there hasn't doing well. So if he can, you know, return to that Matt win performance. He's by curling out of giant's causeway you'll have every ability to get the distance. I think the pace and they're probably sets up well for him. So I'm gonna go wonder, Godot king Zachary and see my my rolling down the lane. I like it. I wanna touch base on a couple other horses in here just while we got some time..

"Like you mentioned, there's a lot of horses in here that can make me feel a little bit uncomfortable. I think Sadler's joys, the best horse in here. But the same thing always happens when there's like these either to close to far back or get some weird trip moves to earlier moves too late. I'm going to take a really strong stand that with hobby. Our second ride on the horse to understand what he actually had underneath him in that he could have waited longer in. He didn't have to make that aggressive, middle move into turn that Julian wouldn't have made that mistake because he understands what he has underneath him. I think hobbies won't make that mistake. Again. I think Sadler joins be extremely tough. He runs well on it at this at this racetrack on this turf course. I'm gonna continue to fade high, happy out. I don't know. I don't even know why, but I'm just gonna. Keep fading horse. The only horse that'd be a little nervous about is bigger picture. I joked on the on out of the gate that that I reiterated the joke. We always make here that you could put me in you in a in a horse suit. Let Mike maker train us to go along when the grass. We've probably get a great one. I respect Mike maker and I respect bigger picture. So all use a little bit defensively. But I think Sadler joys gonna be tough. Again, there's not a lot of speed and and New York where there's not a lot of speed. It doesn't necessarily mean you're gonna find that that horse, it's going to be on the lead that wins in most situations, they're inviting the best closer into the race. And without a question, it's joy. He's terrific course. I do prefer high happy between the two. I think I'd rather just oppose imperial hint if you'd allow me rather than do this as the head to head just because that's more likely. But if you twisted my arm, I do the high happy, Sadler's joy just because it is a turf race in New York. But I think the horse I wanna talk about for at least a second is the seek. Savage was best in that race, I think, but a horse who ran a sneaky, really good race was Manitou 'let very close to the early pace. See those fractions coated red in your time form US PP's and really didn't get beat all that much. Had the additional excuses of like Sadler in some of the others being incredibly wide, also sorta hit the gate at the front of the race, maybe got lit up a little bit. Manitou is gonna be a very big price, and I would not let beat you in your picks. So that's one, I'll I'll toss out. And I think I'll try to pull it up before the for about the bite my tongue. I pretty sure that Manitou came out of that race at Robert Bruce one that spring quality also came out of that race. The fort MARCY, I think people were were, you know, I think that race could turn out to be a key race with with Robert Bruce. I was talented type favored in Manhattan. Spring quality won the race men and ran a good race. So I think there's a lot to that race makes total sense where you're coming from without. Let's move on to the Jim dandy. I don't think it'll take very long JK. You know, I think it's time that the curling and the Jim dandy became one race. What do you think. Let's call it the curl and dandy and move on with who do you like it here..

"Of number two horse promises filled the number six world of trouble the number five or sitting right behind the strike power and then also thrown into the mix. His old time, vital number four. He too is in need the lead type. So it seems like there's going to be some hitting up front in this race. We'll take a look at that likely favored that the number three engage. He just seems like the horse that's probably gonna get the right trip. Once again, I mean he got a good pace to run into when the Woody Stevens. He couldn't quite get there is still having fun. The winner of that race came from even farther back in the pack and rammed passed him late, but engages just alter consistent horse. He's never been out of the exact in six career starts. He doesn't have as high speed figures of some others in this field. I haven't been blown away by any of his races who's just always there at the end at, I think he's a reliable source that you have to use this rapist. But at a pretty short price, I think there is better value to be found elsewhere. Let's take a look at one of the one of the speeds out of the what he Stevens. The number two horse promises fulfilled in some ways. He ran the best race last time because he was setting that fast paced UC the time for you as pace rating line for that race. He ran a one seventy five pace rating for the first quarter, followed by a one fifty one twenty eight to get an eighteen point jump from his Rossi of the one nine up to that final time for your speed figure of one twenty seven is pretty astronomical. You don't see jumps like that. Just Strates how fast paced wasn't the Woody Stevens. A heated. Weld offend off world of trouble ahead of the stretch. He really held that resolve all the way to the finish thought promises filled was just extremely game in that what he Stevens even though we finished third in that race. The problem with here though is he's once again drawn inside of world of trouble. In the third speeds, his gonna be under the gun from the gate, and it's just hard to envision a path to victory for this worse given all the pace pressure that he's likely to receive a horse, it's can be pressing him as world of trouble. Now, role of trouble does drug good postition race because he he is outside of the other speed horses. So if a or can get them to relax a little bit. He can stop just off those worse. Although he is horse. It has run his best races when he's out front, we saw him really explode in the stretch of debt. Pasco states, Tampa Bay downs, big beginning of the winter didn't quite handle the stretch out in the Tampa Bay derby, but he ran just as well as promises for filled in the what he Stephen stocking networks and really taking running around the far into the strategy just couldn't get by late, but they basically finished on even terms that day. I think you also have to take note that JC service the trainer world Trump has been on quite a run over the past few months at bell Mon Monmouth winning nearly fifty percent consistently for about two months. Now, a world of troubles, very dangerous. But I don't think you're gonna get great value on him. He's probably gonna be in even shorter price than promises fulfilled even the live barn. So I think is a contender along with engaging promises filled ultimately taking shot against all three of these horses with a long shot. Miss race. I'm just looking for the horse. That's going to be able to sit the right trip in behind the speed. I think that might be the number one horse lead who's going. To be a price in this race. Now he's faced optional claiming companies companies to starts a three year old, and he lost both of those races by substantial margins, but you really dissect his trips in those races. He hasn't been quite as badly as seems in his seasonal debut may twenty eighth. He rated off a slow pace. You see the blue color coded pace figures for all of the piss ratings. In that race. He just was a little too far off that pace in the winner. West was pretty nice. Older wars went wire-to-wire next time out..

"Del mar, you can get expanded stakes, previews of many of the great stakes races all weekend, long coast to coast at video duck drroof.com or the daily racing form YouTube channel. This race, Mike, a win, and you're in for the Breeder's Cup, sprint, and it features last year's Breeder's, Cup, sprint winner. The very talented, ROY h, yeah. Does ROY h obviously together quite a campaign last year for Peter Miller on which have off with that big, Breeder's Cup, sprint, win. I think he's come back really well this year two guys. I mean, you know, it's it's just really getting started for him, but they made their early season goal that been race off for two million dollars in Dubai, and I actually ran, okay, we're gonna put the replay off. You're going gonna see that. He's never gonna really. Find a way to make his way to the lead in this race. But I like the way that he raised on. Of course, this was Dubai World Cup night. It felt like the rail was really the place to be this never got anywhere near the inside in this race actually, like you ran okay in here against a good field of horses back in the states. He's all side. I think they have a big second half of the year. I know he's a favorite in this race, but I didn't really want to bet against was in against to Tuffy in mind. Your biscuits x. y. jet in that raise little class drop even in this grade one field and it is a pretty salty grade one, Matt, your top selection in this race won the Bing Crosby last year. Got a lucky, get a little bit of an assist last year ransom. The moon did because we saw Dray falling dumped. Mike Smith floated ROY h about fifteen Pez wide. And that was the difference because France moons able shoot up the would kind of this. The reverse happened to Renton the moon to starts back in the Kona gold. We're gonna go back and look at that run right now. Situation where another Peter Miller horse actually floated ranson the moon quite wide off. The far turn loud Bobby Dhabi to shoot up the inside. And really, that was the. Difference maker. I kinda like what this has done so far here in two thousand eighteen annoys only race twice, but he ran well that day. Then they came back in the met mile distances just too far form and against better horses on a likelihood eighty two run terrible there to run. Fifth, I think this is what he wants to do and again, del mar, not a problem for him. I don't think chance the number eight Saint Joe bay. This is back class or who did really well off the John Sadler claim moves recently. Let's go back to that grade to San Carlos stakes was in against odds-on favourite American anthem and they threw it down from the start Saint Joe bay on the rail, American anthem on the outside. And despite being dismissed as a forty, two to one chance on the San Carlos Sancho bay gave American anthem. All he could handle American anthem is once again, going to be a much shorter price than Saint Joe may. I think Saint Joe bay could get the jump on American Anthony draws outside of that. I think he could be sitting off Merican anthem if American anthems a little sluggish coming out of the gate. Bob Baffert seven is better than the six. American anthem maybe Saint Joe bay if he can continue to call upon his back class concert prize at a little bit of a price in the been Crosby..

"You see, right now he's in those orange sleeves on the outside rolling up about three or four path off the far turn it really this is kind of a new dimension that he showed in this spot. Normally, he's a horse, it's much more forward this day. He showed that he can sit a little bit off of and still come with that big run. I think imperial is strictly the horse to be in here. And I think it's about time. He deserves a great one for as well. These run sign for him to finally get a great one next to his name. Mike came out of that race with a little bit of a foot problem. And that's been an issue with imperial him throughout his career. He's been a little bit Ouchi, but it looks like he just found the right field, two notches first grade one win. Yeah, that's exactly how I looked at. I agree with everything about him anyway. It just feels like they found it. Good spot here from the up a grade one. When you know, I'm a little concerned that feels like maybe he's not quite as good this year so far as he was last year. But this is the right field for him, and this is this is just feel like he supposed to win. Nine agree. I think imperial hints going to trip out under havi airs at second off Switzerland. Make his bid on the turn and just get the better. These might top selection as well in the grade one. Alfred G Vanderbilt handicap. Albeit had a pretty short price will stay in the sprint division, but move out west Delmore. The Bing Crosby is up next. It's Breeders Cup win, and in. Let's throw up the field for the Breeders Cup challenge series race on Saturday. It's a win in you're in for the Breeder's Cup, sprint. It's the grade one. Bing, Crosby stakes going six furlongs for three hundred thousand dollars coordinators. Race number nine. At.

"He proved it last time out in the grade three, Maryland, sprint, his stake stay. Who is this wits Rowland and what does he done to the Switzerland that we had come to know and lows? You know, the weird thing is even when Chad had him that he didn't love to win races. He at least showed that he had a little bit of ability. You could just never put it all together now that he's Steve Aspen, it just turned into a bit of a world beer. We're going to take a look back right now. Most recent start. This was degrade three, Maryland, sprint. You're right. It was over a sloppy. He clearly loves some moisture in the ground, but I thought this is a pretty thorough -tated victory and this is real. This is three consecutive wins by open lengths in if this horse is the speed nearest. The rail. Aspen doesn't seem to thrilled with that situation, but I think you've got one way to go. He's got that good early foot. I think you send him in hope that you can hold off the more logical horses, like imperial hint, his three best Beyer speed figures of come on what tracks there is a possibility for wet weather at Saratoga on Saturday. Mike, you've always been a fan of warriors club. I mean, it's just a hardy horse. He's an overachiever. Yeah, he really is. He's a real hard trying middle horse. You gotta like that about him. We'll see if he can really class up in a grade one race. That's a little ambitious for a horse like him. But what he has going for him is that this this one Vanderbilt did not come up all that strong as far as grade one competition goes. So maybe he actually fits really well. Here, we're gonna go back and look at a graded stakes when from the source on at Keeneland earlier this year in the Commonwealth MRs you know, typical of what you're going to get from warriors club got a good position behind the lead. He was able to hold that position the entire way around the track. And once he comes clear in the stretch, there's just no denying this horse. He will not stop trying to run you down to see him forged to the front right at the end here and he is going to prevail for berry game win in this race. He came back out of this race on ran track, Churchill and ran really well. Again, this difficult race. I think it's gonna give them a chance in this race because it's not that strong field. Those are two talented horses, but not the one to beat is the number four imperial hint when he is. On his game. He's one of the better sprinters in the country. He draws outside his main speed and his main competition and Switzerland, and he could just work out a good pace, pressing trim. It's drew this thing up. I think he's going to get a trip very similar to the one that he had most recently in the true north, I understand maybe he's not gonna be that far back, but I think he parks just off the horse down on the inside speed horse..

"You can get expanded stakes analysis of all the graded stakes races on Saturday and on Sunday. We've got Monmouth. We've got the shoe v at Belmont. We've got the Clement l Hirsch del mar that all be up video dot, dear f. dot com or the daily racing form YouTube channel. Mike, the number to ten fold. We talked about justify being a lightly race stores. They threw a lot of justify their tenfold in a short amount of time. Yeah, it's not quite justify like if you wanna put it that way. But yet he's come a long way from his debut in February, where he ran a very good race. First time out around two turns. He's really improved from there. We're gonna. Look at his Preakness Ron right now where he's not going to be able to quite get there and he can't quite hold second either. We're going to see him come running out of the fog year after justify on. He made a run around the second turn of this race to get by bravado. Now you're gonna see, prevents comeback and Ted him for second with this ran really well in this race, and I liked the rates that Iran in the Belmont Stakes. Well, he was never going to win that race, but I think he ran pretty well and maybe better than it looks on paper and I just love his tactical speed and a race that came up really short here at this great spot for temple. Matt flame away is such a hard. Try already put him the sleep earlier this year in the Sam f Davis on the lead. He draws the inside post in this short field. He's gotta go right in really for me, it's not so much that I think he's as good as a couple other runners in here. I think tenfold vino rose or the most talented horses by far in the race. But I think there's a scenario were done on the inside flame what you've got one way to go. We're going to go back to his run in the bluegrass. Now he got beat by pretty good horse in there called good magic. We know what he's Cape beloved, be also see sporting chances in ear. Sporting chance is gonna run Saturdays. Well, for Lucas, I guess the thing for me, there's a real scenario where flame away if no one else wants to go or no one else's intent, we kinda know flame always game. He's going to be forwardly placed. I know he was terrible in the Ohio derby, Mark Cassie said, body Renshaw horse. And if he's not good enough on Saturday, it's plainly because of that is not going to because he's not cranked up and ready to roll. I just wonder, is there a scenario where they look at him and say, he's eventually gonna come back to us and maybe he gets brave, doesn't stop. A flame away gets loose. It obviously helps flame away. It also hurts the morning line favorite in my top selection. Todd Pletcher venal Roseau. Who in all likelihood is going to be last in this five horse field down the backstretch. What I do think vino Roseau has going for him is his ability to get this distance. I'm not sure about flame away. I am not completely sold on tenfold. I am not completely sold on sporting chance. I know vino Rosa was a grinding type that will get the distance much as he did in the nine for long. Memorial earlier this year. Let's go back to Belmont Stakes at a mile and a half, and he was kind of a wise guy worse than this rose because folks thought that the mile and a half would be his wheelhouse. But when justify spurted away at the three eighth spoil, it put vino Roseau on the chase and kind of took him out of his grinding game. He finished evenly. It was a good, solid performance. The feeling is always been for this source that he'll continue to get better as he develops and matures as a second season three year old. I think that vino Roseau can overcome a moderate pace situation. The price, however, rather unappetising, but he's might pick in the gym dandy, Nicole. Rousseau's pedigree, pick segment focuses on perhaps some stars of tomorrow, two euros in race. Number one at Saratoga on Saturday Peter, Thomas foreign attell, talk and tournaments. Let's sit those segments right now. Hey, everyone to call Russo coming to you for out of the gate. And of course, two year old racing big part of summer at Saratoga..

"Bob Baffert Cemerin Phero it's a hard comparison to make bike because American Phero was a top two year old. He would have been favored in the Breeders Cup juvenile. He wasn't scratched the day before leading to one of Matt's great scores with Texas red. How can we compare these horses? I mean, with justify did unprecedented undefeated three-year-old never ran into. How do you compare them with a horse like American Phero? How do you compare the triple crown races that they ran? Can you even do so? Yeah, I mean, I don't. I don't really know how you can compare them and do it any real Justice. I mean, not that I have that much interest in doing it anyway. But you know, the thing with justify that I thought was the most amazing thing is what did we see the source for wasn't one hundred days a little bit more than one hundred days from start to finish and that. It is an undefeated triple crown winner. I mean, he accomplished a whole lot in a very short amount of time and to me personally, and I get that others disagree, but you know, showing up for two more races, you know, maybe winning them both and maybe one in the Breeders Cup. Last August older horses. I don't know how much more than hands is reputation if it enhances it at all. I just I'm happy to call him a really good horse that I saw run, and I am prepared to say nothing when inevitably people come to me and say, you know what? He just wasn't that good. Let's talk about worse is like a fleet, Alex and smarty Jones sources. The retired after the Belmont Stakes, of course, those horses only one, two thirds of the triple crown. Very, very talented horses. Their careers were cut short by injury, much like justify when you look at justifies body of work boy, if it stacks up better, I think than those two, those two at the time we're considered on the cusp of being super worse. Matt, I think really the big difference there is like, especially when you compare them to smarty Jones, he actually accomplished the feat. He won the triple. Crowning over the hump. But on the flip side, if you're someone that looks at it from a speed standpoint, at the end of the day, he never ran exceptionally fast. The one, oh, seven don't get me wrong. It's not like that was walking in quicksand, but he never ran his fastest smarty Jones. When he won the Preakness with the one eighteen or one seventeen buyer. We know fleet Alex on his best day, he could throw up a big number and I guess that's the only thing for me. It's not so much that I would want to see him run fifteen more times. I just wanted to see if he was capable of throwing that one twenty buyer who eventually saw American pharaoh. In the classic we saw what hero gate was capable of is three year old. I think he probably could have done it, but we'll never know. The g word is often thrown around to haphazardly racing. Great. Would you say might beer that justify goes down as a great an all time? Great. An all time. Great. I would have to say no to an all here because he didn't race off. I think it was a very, very good three year old. You know what? It's it's a big problem in the game. I now you're if you're really good at three, you don't get a chance to be great because we're not gonna let to wrong Patrick three year old. Matt, same question. He I don't know that I would go great the accomplishment. There's no question about it. It's great, but he did it against essentially just his own age, maybe race enough. It's hard for me to sit here and put him in some sort of a top twenty or top twenty five category. But at the end of the day he did something that was unprecedented. So you gotta get. You have to give him credit for that. I'll say, great accomplishment. Great horse will miss justify. Let's get to some handicapping the Jim dandy, the local prep for the midsummer derby. The Travers stakes is your DR f. bet Saturday, race of the day. Let's throw up the field for the bet Saturday. Race of the day. "Pending the final sale, Matt, let's talk about justifies career. He came out of nowhere. Undefeated triple crown. Champion destroyed the whole myth of the curse of Apollo. Let's start with his Santa Anita derby. We'll celebrate his career. We'll talk about as accomplishments I will compare the some other big horses from the past. The sanity derby kind of felt like that kickoff kicking the door down saying what I am actually as good as it looks like. I wasn't those first two starts. We can take a look at the stretch run at race right now. Look, the source really kind of came out of nowhere went from zero to one hundred and the fact that he showed up and debuted in February. Had me in a number of other people a little bit concerned about how much foundation there was. At the end of the day, Baffert handle them like he was a good thing. I don't know that Baffert thought he would be this good and when the triple crown. But at the end of the day, look, this was sort of his coming out party saying here I am in this kind of catapulted into favouritism in a derby and Mike, what we saw on the Santa Anita derby was taking a test for the first time, both Dior one of the top two year olds, and all of twenty seventeen made a strong run at justify any just really couldn't get within hailing distance when the money was on the line, of course justify then came out to win the derby. The Preakness was in two weeks. It was a wet racetrack and he had to deal with good magic. We're see beating the derby, but who a lot of folks thought at a mile and three sixteenths had a big chance to upset him. Yeah, that's those are all true. It was just it's very interesting to see how quickly this who are developed for forbath and I don't think it was like a huge surprise. But certainly he had a lot thrown adamant of very short amount of time, and he was just up for all of it. He was obviously really impressive when he won back and talk derby on a fast paced the entire way, catching a wet track that day on it didn't seem to bother him his Preakness where he just merged out of the fog with the lead in there and then just barely held on. Here's that Preakness. Now you can't really see anything in here, but he, you know, he had to race. Good magic, really good horse right from the start in here and you can see him. Now he's getting the advantage gonna hold on late. I think this race sort of made people wonder because it was so close at the end if he was really that much better than these three year old. But I'm, he just came right back into on steaks and he was just much the best in the Belmont right on the front end in their never letting that field into the race. He, you know what? He's, he's just a really good horse to shame or not. Gonna see him anymore. The mar. Urgen victory in the Preakness didn't tell the story, Matt because he did all the running as Mike alluded to every step of the way dueling with good magic over that testing. Racetrack finally put in good magical way and then still having something left to hold off the closers. And now the Belmont where he went right to the front, a great ride from Mike Smith, putting them on the lead and justify kept finding more right at this point, he is extending making everyone else tried to chase. They can't get to him too much horse for everyone else. And again, it's it felt like this was a pretty decent three year old crop, and we'll find out if they actually end up being as good as they once looked like they could be. But at this point in the race is really nobody else doing any running gronkowski from the back, he put in a long sustained bid. Realistically, he was never going to get there to justify. I guess the big thing for me, I hate to say it. It feels like feels like he's kind of incomplete understand. He accomplished something unbelievable, but I have no idea what the source could have turned into would love to have seen him face older horses. And unfortunately, we're just not going to get that and that's the shame. But as the thirteenth trip. Crown winter. Only the thirteenth triple crown winner in.
