"With a with a long shot. Who realistically shouldn't have been able to hang with her. So you know. We're i mean we're talking about a horse. He's thrown down with the best inuits twist in rescheduled the two other dominant killings in in her division. So i just don't see how she i can see away. She does these however at the same time. same time. She's the classes towards in the reasons longer. Everything goes well in terms of shipping. And you know being up for the restraining well and in having a good trip in the race. I don't think that the the west coast phillies will be able to keep up with her and now that we do have those entries for those final stakes races on sunday. I don't have too much to add. To what eric said again I've made it very clear that i believe the cheaters. The devil is overrated horse. But that being mentioned. I don't really think anyone in this race. Jump off the papers a horse that can beat her. It was not a fan of the regression. That as time goes by had between her win in the santa margarita. And the santamaria. So i'm not against her in here she. She's obviously got some kind of talent but she there's a double has while she's had some very soft races this year. She's still a good horse in at the end of the day She has finished ahead of two of the best horses. Or i should say to the best older females in the country inlet truce ca and swiss skydiver so she clearly has some kind of talent And she gets an easier spot in this race. And i think that she will get the job done in here as for the amsterdam stakes once again completely agree with eric. This is a two horse race between train. The clock and jackie's warrior as long as jackie's worried. Having issues at the start. He should win this race. He will be my pick And but i do think we are going to get a very similar matchup and it can be something very entertaining. Probably very similar. To the kinda raced. We got in the woody stephen. "I talked about how this was going to give us. A clue are the alfred vanderbilt. I should say was going to give us a clue on the east coast. This will give us a clue on the west coast There are some very good horses in here. This race is even more wide open than the alfred. Vanderbilt is which is really hard to say because the alfred vanderbilt is a very wide open race. But you've got former grade one winners in here. Greatest stakes winners this year Cc rocket is a horse. I believe we gave ceesay rocket the mid year eclipse award for sprint. Because suzy rocket had won two races at oakland beating whitmore full time and but ceesay rocket is coming out of a loss albeit that was going a two-term mile at lonestar. So i'm really tossing that race in considering him. Brickyard ride has run very good races this year. And you know you look at former grade. One winners from last year dr shovel Great race last year in the del mar futurity collusion allusion reno huge race in this race last year. And you know he. He's the horse ultimately that i am going to go with and i don't like taking horses off huge layoffs like collusion illusionist. Coming off but a couple things allay my fears about that number. One sees one off a very similar to this going back to his time between the american pharaoh and his allowance race at santa nita in may of twenty twenty very similar. Layoff to what he's going to be coming off here. Hasn't run since the malibu stakes but again it's seven months approximately with that in eight months approximately. I don't care to do the exact math for but very similar layoffs. And the other thing that i'm really hoping for is there's a lot of speed signed on in here so i'm hoping that they go radioactive in the first quarter. First half this race and i can get collusion luge. Come late and pick up his second win in the bing crosby stakes another very wide. Open this is. You can make cake. Basically every single horse on the exception maybe one or two an on going against the grain usually usually fedral. that could likely Form up. I i i try to find a horse. That's gonna come. From behind like a collusion. Dr tribal cd rocket but i just really really like procured writing here earlier on in the year when he wanted to san carlos. I'm basically said he's thinking you know is the best spoon on the west coast navy. One of the best in the country. Of course he had to bad runs after that but is winning the doors. That was so nice last time out. He got a. It's as awful as say a better jockey away better jock more experienced jockey as a way better idea of how to ration out a horse with as much speeded brickyard right has out a ration. Mount super nicely. I mean he's shown that and his winning the thors echo. Last time out e- crossword was so much left in him too. You can see on the gallup out. His horse had plenty left to give. So i i just really liked it and racist. We've seen him being able to sustain extremely quick fractions and still finish off the race. Beautifully most notably saint carlson twenty one and three and for the opening quarter forty-three in four for the half and there was a ridiculous numbers to put up and even more to win by oaten links in almost drawing. Clear your company at the same time. So i really liked brickyard ride. I don't think the practices are what will get him on. But it is worth noting. This is probably the toughest race. He's ever had to run in with you. Know great one winners scattered all over here. So it'll be interesting. I know it's rockets. In the most probably the most particle pick to say this but it also feels like spot to try and beat him in. And that's why i'm gonna go go against them with procure and now that we've finished the saturday races. I do want to turn it over to erica. Since he will not be able to give out picks Since we have not received those entries for the two greatest stakes races at one at saratoga unwanted telemark for sunday august. I of those being the amsterdam and the clement hirsch respectively. We're not gonna be able to give picks when the entries are finalized. So i will give him the floor to just talk about what he thinks based on what we have now with nominations and further races what he thinks of those two races and then after he's done i will have picks once those entries are finalized and we have the poster on everything. Yeah i mean. These are two excellent races and increases that no matter how they the under drawing out I think they're they're basically down to two horses apiece Starting with the amsterdam it's jackie's warriors. Strain the clock oliver. We want as long as jackets for your doesn't do what he did. Last time he gets out of the gates his time sets open in a great position. He should be able to to run a really big race again in. Get the job done there. He's absolutely better than nineteen venturing. The clock on an even playing field. So as long as that's what we get. It should be jackie where we don't love saratoga too. So the that could help him out. A lot of the west coast. I'd want to get to horse race. As time goes by verse. She there's the devil. I do think she does. The devil will have the edge You know she. She's proven to be able to take race anywhere as time goes by able to beat up on pretty weeks fields and even last time we saw her after battle.

"She's only on lead a couple of times in his career but he runs well there or he can sit just off of it or link to three off of delete if if speed really sends and still run a strong rate so i just love the versatility loved to distance is going to be running here extremely quick. Turn of foot kind of horror. So i i think this is going to be a really big run for him. In my in my opinion. I think that if he can win this race those himself as one of the best sprinters in the country Top two or three and definitely the best sprinter on east coast. Now we're gonna move onto the next race on the saratoga carta The jim dandy stakes. I'm going to have a preview of this over on youtube. So i'm not gonna waste too much time. I will just say though. Obviously i am going to be picking essential quality to belmont stakes winner. One note that. I will make those. I just don't think there's any flaw. That essential quality has on paper. And you know if you're trying to beat him. I can understand why because he's going to be a very short favorite and you know it is saratoga so you can always hope for an upset but i think anything that you're going to try to be the central quality with his reaching in here and like i said on paper. There's no no flaw that he has nothing. That indicates is going to win this. Were going to lose this race. Excuse me very similar to mao. Thought last weekend there was nothing on paper indicating that she would lose this race and it was just kind of one of those random upsets that happened so that happens. It happens but it's not going to be something you're going to be able to predict a beforehand unless you're just trying to beat essential quality for the sake of beating the favourite so i'm not going to dabble into that. He's gonna be my pick really loved his effort the belmont stakes and he's done really nothing wrong his entire career absolutely. I think you know same. I echo those thoughts of jack and there's not much more i can say or anything i can. I can say. In general everybody listening knows who central quality is horse. Each done everything right in his career. Derby kinda gubbay by that that you know wide trip but even that only being a link that spot in of course came back won. The belmont should be able to run. Your says the real money is going to be made in your you know exotic wagers exact as in try effect is and i think a two horses you need to use the who need to fade the two. You need to use docker chapin labor. The one you need to fade his masquerade. He's run back to back. Really strong efforts sure but at the same time it will be much weaker company than. He's facing here ominous to really really big efforts in that means there's a good chance eagerly flop here especially on such a quick turnaround as doctor. Jack waiver I think waiver and of course you know. He held his own against mandolin. Last time out mandolin. You know the technical winner of the hassle even though he hasn't been winning all big races Official you know across the line. I and stuff. He's still running. Incredibly big raises waiver as as in standing on two of his last four with a really nice placing and not about run in the woods. So seems a little hill that the board here and the doctor jack. I've said every time we talk about him it seems he's a half brother to grade one winner idol out of By pioneer deny also there's tons of distance in that pedigree is gonna go mile and an eighth year is run in. The pegasus wasn't too bad on mandolin. Of course franken. That formerly nicely so doctor jagger. He's going to be really nice price. He's not going to win. This race could be something huge to finish out an exact or try and now we're going to move onto the final race at saratoga this weekend that is the bowling green in this race feature the return of the eclipse award winner from last year eclipse award turf winner. I should say on channel maker his first start in the united states since the breeders cup turf last year he had a couple of starts in the middle east rand good and and saudi arabia and then he was just way too overmatched In may on Bill maher gave him the break that he probably needed a after going over running twice overseas. So definitely is back here but layoff is definitely very concerning. There's other horses around here. This is the typical. There's none of the four year olds that we talked about. So you know. This is the typical everybody in this. All the old stalwarts in this division continuing to beat up on each other. And so it's really kind of a take your pick with this race but the horse. I'm going to go with a horse. That i've been burned by in the past and i'm not going to get burned by him. This time is cross-border and i used cross-border in the pegasus world cup turf this year even a very credible third place finish in that effort since then very good third in the panamerican states he ran also ran in the turf. Classic churchill downs on kentucky derby day on the kentucky derby undercard and that was a race that first through seventh every horse ranch within two lengths of each other so he was seven but he was only beaten two lengths so you it's not like he was beaten by a very wide margin. You know even go down. Further in that master of fox hounds. Came back to to run a really good fourth in the manhattan stakes dont stakes day and even write. A comment has turned solid effort since that so that was a race were every single horse in their ran a good race or has since come back to run well so that seventh-place finish the number looks bad but don't read too much into it. He ran find that day very nice effort in an allowance. Last time at valmont park in the other thing about him is he loves saratoga stakes winner. There last year got pulled up in the bowling green very good second behind channel maker in the sword. Dancer in history runs at saratoga. Last year go back to two thousand nine hundred. Ninety three wins all allowance company. But it just goes to show you that. This is a horse who loves the loves to track at saratoga really takes to it And i'm not gonna get burnt by him again. I got burnt by him last year at saratoga and then i'm gonna join jack on cross cross border in here. You go back to last year's episodes before his races In the bowling green in the sword dancer. I loved him for one. Reason is saratoga. Form is incredible. It seems catered to a whole number level when he's at that tracking. Listen you know. He hasn't won it officially since last july. It's been over a year. Of course he got his bowling green disqualification. But you know it. It's gonna while since he won but he's also been chasing extremely tough horses that turf. Classic only beaten to lynch by colonel by domestic spending is moonlight straight and all the other or suggest mentioned that that was not a bad run at all obviously allowances unlawful slightly concerning. But you know at the end of the day this divorce. It doesn't win every race but this seems kind of like spot for him to get back in the group back. In the winter circle undefeated at this distance. I might also add so so just lots to like about having said this is a very tough race. I think that you know the bill. Montreal all provide excellent values. The right were but they'll have a good chance one way or the other. Even though they're not all the most consistent especially moon over miami moon over miami on when he's ran these longer distance ever since he started going along last number really really long He's been nothing but consistent other than belmont derby But but you know he's playing all three runs this year so Certainly wanted to consider maybe underneath or on top. he's use. The only other horse are really considered on top outside of cross-border benicia via fundraise. When it'd be surprised to see cross-border win or run lasted that's discounted the feel. I'm getting from this this this year's a bowling green and we're gonna move onto the only great one at del mar this weekend and that's bing crosby..

"Gallant fox had already wrapped up the title of champion three-year-old for the year. The only occasional threat to gallant fox seemed to come from which one harry payne. Whitney's champion juvenile of nineteen twenty nine. Which one in fact had gone to the post as the favourite in the belmont stakes before finishing second by four lakes to gal at fox in the rain while all of this was happening. Hardly anyone was thinking about. Jim dandy and even fewer seem to that victory in the mud at saratoga. The prior year on travers day nineteen thirty all the forces went to the post. Gallup fox was favored at one to which one who had tremendous speed but was fragile was listed at nine to five for the other two. Well there were some falcon at forty two one and jim dandy one hundred one. They were merely seen as filler material. So that the travers wouldn't be a match race owner chaffee earl didn't even make the trip from los angeles to watch his ron saying he didn't feel well and instead stay at home. Gallant fox had spent the summer in chicago winning race after race following his triple crown success. Which one had won the whitney at saratoga and so crowd which included governor franklin delano roosevelt was excited to see a rematch of the one two finishers from the belmont stakes. Both of whom had enjoyed excellent summer campaigns. Plus jockey earl. Sandy on gallant fox was said to have outsmarted sonny workman on which one in the belmont. So the theory with a smarter ride by workmen. And perhaps which one could turn the tables on gallant fox instead on a rain-soaked track at saratoga which one set the pace and faded. Gallant fox took the lead but held it only briefly. And then jim dandy took over and drew clear to win the travers stakes in a gallup. He was bred the love a wet track he had won a stakes at saratoga and the muddy your earlier and yet because he had not won a race all here in nineteen thirty and because the public believed he was facing the two best horses in the nation. Jim dandy had gone to the post for the travers at odds of one hundred to one and he won the race. Jim dandy was gelded a few months after that travers upset and then retired a few years later from racing with a record of only seven wins in one hundred forty one career starts an article in the los angeles examiner in the forties noted that trainer mckee had died and owner chaffee earl had left the horse business. But jim dandy well. He was enjoying life at a writing academy in glendale california. The article said he had written to the hounds jumps flawlessly and appears often at horse shows and back east at saratoga to this day they still remember jim dandy as well they should his name stands as a reminder that in horse racing truly anything is possible. Well multi multi surface so no matter what murray is going to be a good racehorse. Certainly the current favourite for the del mar futurity. Now let's talk about the other horses. The ones that were You know notable notable to me that not everybody else got see. And i'll start with the more impressive one. In my opinion dance to the music. Broker made it on saturday at del. Mar four trademark glad. Who's no quickly You know he was such a good claiming trainer in southern california for a long time. Now he's really Started to get a lotta graded stakes quality horses and his barn lexus collusion illusion. Probably the biggest one. But here's dr shovel. Now he's going to be running an in big races in the next few months. Dance to the music. Another one Very impressive wire-to-wire. Score here at del mar by just under five links You know A daughter of arrogate. That that was really hyped. From the bob baffert barn as well as daughter of with honors. Who was a really talented chiro tilly. From a couple of years ago ellen. J foxwoods her daughter honor. It was the favored in this race. Also there was. There was a lot of high of horses in this race and instant music handled them with ease. Five hundred seventy five thousand dollar two year old in training daughter of mcleans music out of congrats mayor. Just you know that that daniels lot of speed in that pedigree which could easily stretched out to to turns with that fiscal bill. But i think still got a lot of potential. I can't wait to see her. Get integrated stakes company you. She'll probably find a which wanted to del. Mar credits eggs. One out and both And then you know progress towards santa anita for their big chiro philly race and get ready for the breeders. I think she genuinely is the best. Two-year-old billion southern california right now can we see what she can do with all of our talent and we'll move on to next control this philly Outed ellis on sunday. A very interesting story divided into it. So i don't waste too much time but owned by eclipse the right partners. I'm very prominent so many talented horses over the years from that ownership group trained by michael mccarthy previous winning trainers one bunch of other big races He has a string kentucky so no surprise to see him. Have a you know a two year olds here but the really interesting thing about this philly is that she was a four thousand dollar yearling last year. you don't usually see those price tags for these connections and actually based off. Who bought this philly on at least as listed that to me. It seemed like they bought her privately at some point In her training so potentially she was working out really nicely or somebody got a tip on her and and she ended up in this and his barn for these connections but the way she broke her maiden it's clear why they liked your brain pretty poorly chart says she hit the gate at the start. Which you know probably explains the slow start but breaking from the rail you would have expected her naturally being farther back debut in all of those things not to run that well or at least you know. Pick it up late but because of the the way the race setup for her. She wasn't going to run the best race ever but but she she moved up very nicely on the inside responded really well to the riders asking and then switched out as it came around the turn to to get around the leaders to like three or four path and she just did it so professionally was was was hardly asked late in the race eaten. It was clear she was just dominating this field of affiliate. I mean we're getting into to august now. Our last we lie. This is where the stars we're going to come out that. We're gonna see her september october to the breeders cup This they're coming out now. The best to roads are coming to the fray. So this was was you know. Really highly regarded in in control. Handled them with ease She actually. It's very funny that she was only a four thousand dollar healing as well because she has a couple of students who have sold for you know six figures like six hundred thousand dollars. Even she has a sister who sold for six hundred thousand dollars only a year or two ago so the action was four thousand dollars yearling pretty crazy but she knows she already heard way more than that with this win. She will likely continue doing that. She'll have plenty of opportunities all across the country like that happened a really talented just daughter. Oh creative 'cause who i think's gonna do a lot of good things and when she gets out to to turn. I can't wait to see what you can do. Their control for mike mccarthy dance to the music for mark glad to really really nice phillies. Can't wait to see what they can do down the road and now we'll get onto to graded stakes races from saratoga the from this past weekend. I didn't talk about the lake george last weekend but this is a this. This was a very good race in something that is definitely worth mentioning One of the hits for the buy sell hold segment. Going back to belmont stakes weeks the belmont stakes recap show. That was a show that Some some of the buy sell hold takes that have come back to be very lucrative. We had tribhuvan win the by from that weak and now we have the the two phillies that i held held to phillies. And it was the pair of chad brown phillies. It didn't run too well. In the wonder again. They both came back to run one to technical analysis and fluffy socks definitely disappointing for me because floppy socks is one of my favorite horses in training but she ran a very credible race behind technical analysis. Who i don't know how technical analysis went off at the price that she went off that for me i saw that raises a complete line through you know maybe it was just a technical analysis with cutting back but you know technical analysis ran such a good race here and she was a really good philly before that race just did not shape up for her in the wonder again at all. And it's definitely very good to see a horse that obviously had some talent And was just not benefited that race. Aside from cohn limit didn't really benefit anybody..

"Chaffee earl who raced under the name wilshire. Stable born into a wealthy family in oakland earl was a media mogul who owned the los angeles herald express and the l. a. based radio station. Knx at the time. Jim dandy would become only the second horse owned by earl who pay twenty five thousand dollars for the coal assam equal to four hundred thousand dollars today and roughly four months after the transaction. Jim dandy went to saratoga where he pulled a thirty two one upset in winning the nineteen twenty nine grand union hotel stakes for two year olds on a muddy track. Headlines in newspapers around the country proclaimed gym dandies achievement yet by nineteen thirty. It seemed as though hardly anyone remember. That's because more prominent horses. From more prominent stables were taking control of the headlines most notably gallant fox owned by william woodward was dominating the spring classics taking the kentucky derby the preakness and the belmont the day after the belmont stakes on june eight. Nineteen thirty newspapers declared. That gallant fox had already wrapped up the title of champion three-year-old for the year. The only occasional threat to gallant fox seemed to come from which one harry payne. Whitney's champion juvenile of nineteen twenty nine. Which one in fact had gone to the post as the favorite in the belmont stakes before finishing second by four lakes to gallant box in the rain while all of this was happening. Hardly anyone was thinking about jim dandy and even fewer seem to remember that victory in the mud at saratoga. The prior year on travers day in nineteen thirty only four forces went through the post. Gallant fox was favored at one to two which one who had tremendous feed but was fragile was listed at nine to five for the other two. Well there were some falcon at forty two one and jim dandy one hundred one. They were merely seen as filler material. So that the travers wouldn't be a match race owner chaffee earl didn't even make the trip from los angeles to watch his worth. Ron saying he didn't feel well and instead would stay at home. Gallant fox had spent the summer in chicago winning race after race following his triple crown success. Which one had won the whitley saratoga and so a crowd which included governor franklin delano roosevelt was excited to see a rematch of the one two finishers from the belmont stakes. Both of whom had enjoyed excellent summer campaigns..

The course derby's derby went back for that of course the belmont but saratoga man this is this fills extra-special to be going like when you talk about coming back to the track. This is the track right. This is the track that you think about when you say. I want to be back at the live racing at saratoga and i cannot wait to be there so you broke it in a little bit for me. Last two weeks ago. I guess up. Hopefully hopefully we can handle we get there so yeah it is out but you guys.

I just can't quite get there with him. I think especially as you said. Exactly what i was thinking i almost had Reserve picked distinct. Maybe speak too much speed in the race might ultimately be the downfall the nine whereas i'd like mischievous alex has speed but also with iran backboard can kind of sit off of that a little bit and i read a very good at that with the source obviously said running the sprints with him. He's been so good. So i want number two mischievous alex. I think he says the trip. And i think he's the best worse in the race. Two races later. Right after the jim dandy on saturday race to end the bowling green stakes. Great two hundred fifty k. For four year olds and up going one three eighth miles on the turf field of eight lines up for this one. And it's another doozy here. This is going to be a fun race. You got five. A to channel maker said the two on moon over miami five to one on channel across borders ninety two rocky emperor six to one eight two one on shamrock it. I mean really look at this race breakpoint news on interesting. Second time starter. Chad brown ten to one. I mean look at this race in mean even read night. Doesn't look awful at twelve to one all eight horses..

The giovanni back there in the jim dandy right saturday at saratoga race nine the jim dandy stakes greet to. You is six hundred k. For three rolls when one and one eight miles field of six lines up for this one. But we've got a heavy favourite here number five your belmont stakes winner coming back from that. Race is central quality. Your champion chiro. Champion probably your three year old champion. He's wanted to go into this race. What do i mean. It's an interesting race. Got like mass raid. Burn keep me in mind but it just seems like all those worst running for second single. This is obviously prepped. For the travers. I don't think he may be do you now. Here we go again. We had mouth last week and we were on this show. They can't beat her and then they beat her. You know and so that that storyline of the graveyard favorites of the graveyard of champions of saratoga. It lives on in it. It hangs in the balance here no about it. I think it's gonna be on the back of a lot of people's minds. Okay so you kind of think okay. What got thought be well. Running style wasn't exactly what she wanted to do. It looks like essential quality who has a similar running styles mouth but it looks like a central polly does kind of have those targets out in front. You're not gonna see a central quality having to set the pace in this race right You know. I think wave earn is going to go. Mass parade will go early. I mean dr. Jack moved up in class but does have early speed. I think essential qualities sits kinda that second and third spot. And then you look and you say okay. Well how do you beat him here. I think you're going to have to try to sneak away from him but then the back of your mind. You gotta thank hot rod. Charlie kind of snuck away from him in the belmont and he's still caught him. Is there hot rod. Charlie in this race no so if the targets way burn and mass parade i think essential quality. Get done i. i'm not gonna try to beat him And i'll go. As far as say i am going to single essential quality here This is a very difficult sequence. I'm not going to try to over analyze it. I think essentially quality gets done. Yeah you know. Mark says the same thing. I was like not only that. Like he has their speed anti-drugs outside of speed. So he's just gonna sit the catbird seat the whole way around. He's got an obviously a very smart jockey. And lewis is who written in pretty much entire career horses. The loss of one the kentucky derby and really. You can make up excuses there but to me whenever you see how rod came back in the haskell anyone the haskell he just got from school but he won and obviously it was very very good. I mean this quality them he ran in down and to me cintra quality. You'd like i feel like we're we're losing side a little bit of how sick quality how good he was. You know it makes. Everyone talks about hot rod. How he was the how he ran too good to lose myself included But you forget horse one right. A horse beat him and that was essential quality. So he to me. He's he's easily the one to be here. Nine muscle has done is like if i was going to be keeping in mind to beat them and i really wanna pick keep me in mind to beat essential quality. No things pass if you had any doubt. I'm not sold on that belmont. You made a really good point will run. Charlie came back and whatever happened happened. But what you can't deny as the horse you know he. He ran a tremendous race in the haskell. Also he backs up that and it's just the situation is such equality shows up runs his race. He's all the way outside. And then of course like the two-horse was a tenfold. And of course you remember remember this race where tenfold like darted out in the middle of track yup at the end of the race and like i always use that picture. Actually because there's a picture of he's like way in the middle of the track. Not only do. I remember it. I was standing right on the rail at the winner. Circle with a couple guys that that Work for todd pletcher and actually one of them walked him veena rosa up to the gate. the are not the gate to the paddock and i had bet on tenfold and tenfold grand right at us i mean looking is dead in the iran and ride at us. Of course you know. Ricardo adds up correcting them straightened. Seamount kind of just in time to get the win. It was one of the worst gym. Dandies i've ever watch and obviously for timbale women and it's crazy that i bet tenfold that day and he's turned out to be so bad sometimes. You're you're wrong about something but you're right so at that one spot in time easily. He's not a good horse. He never was a horse. He did win that race. So there's that there's plenty of times where you bet a horse to win a race. Not because they're going to be good for for a while as just gonna win that race. So but yeah yeah to be honest. Tenfold be said the hopes and you kind of thought he might be at that point. You probably didn't think was going to be the beers go. Classic winner a year later. Whatever it was so it is funny. How fletcher's man these they. Sometimes you know with those v. V vino like. They are the never know. You might get really thrilled but a lot of times. I've lost them in at the right time. You've got the curling friday in tomorrow for us as a curling. You've got the jim dandy on the weekend of course toga big racing vanderbilt on the scheduled there on saturdays card. Of course the being crosby on del mar which is kept waiting for the sprint sunday. He got weavers del mar for the staff. And of course the amsterdam is insanely good back at the saratoga. On sunday with jackie's warrior and drain the clock rematch. Some mean it really has like. You're not talking before the show. It's like yeah that's like. I mean there's three or four potential fears cup winners. You know in running this weekend sprint. Division has been really quiet for a while now but they have the crosby in the vanderbilt. You got the best sprinters in the country. No by the way like you said the amsterdam might have one of the best or two sprinters in the country as well. We'll talk about that. Yeah i mean business. Picks up right the big horse. Essential qualities back. We'll talk about that You know last week was kind of a little. Bit of a lull as far as getting hyped up for it ended up being unbelievable. The coaching of america owns was fantastic. One of those entertaining races of the year. So far only had four entertaining. But you didn't have that build up this week. Farrell lost the travers at saratoga that that time when when when when pharrell lost the travers by the name of frosted many of us remember just unexplained pushed pharaoh early Horse likes to do his best running from off the pace pushes pharaoh early softens in mop and then keanae is just kind of watches. It all unfold. It goes right by same thing happened. Clear a horse. We've seen many times that runs from off the pace all of a sudden. Rit says. i can't beat malathion. If i just let her go. I'm gonna pressure mouth. thought takes. The pressure turns her away. Oh there's oh good old. Ricky ricardo santana. He's just sitting right there and he says all these to go out there all this by horse moore accuser. Right behind him goes right by mala thought there at the end it was a fascinating race for It's one of those races if you know what you're watching malfa probably better in that race than any of the races. She's what because she showed. I can take pressure. i can finish off pressure. She showed a ton of heart in this race This is not her preferred running style being on the lead like that as well. She's out of her comfort zone. She ran very very well and defeat. But santana in america may give them all the credit in the world man. They stayed out of that thing and then and then went and got her late. It's mala thought on the inside clairiere on the outside. Three quarters went in one. Eleven and cuccia is now making her move on the outside. So it's three of them across mala thaad clara merrick. I've been watching following the joey votto run that he's been on. Have you seen anything like that. Awhile i tell ya. I love it i mean and you know we need it with kathy beyond those being out You know we're going to. He's going to be back here soon. But yeah. I mean they were talking about it. I was watching some of that cubs game in the olympics. Last night Yeah just going. After his first one you know he had back to back the night before and then After his first one last night it was like circling the bases. He put one finger up to the bench. Like this is the first one tonight not to laugh. Then i thought and when he hits one boy the best way crazy yeah he's the first guy for cincinnati reds the ahead to To home runs in consecutive games. It's johnny bench. Back in the heyday of the big red machine. So yeah i just really. The reds offense is just phenomenal. I mean they are such a jekyll and hyde. And because they're pitching staff wall they had their moments times they could just be flat out. Atrocious the bullpen especially. So they're out there hitting you know they can be as good as anybody in baseball. They can really score. I've actually started watching a little more baseball lately When i was in louisville for that week i watched a couple of reds games. They were playing the brewers that week. And then when. I got since i've gotten over here Where they airbnb. i'm staying at they. Have you know cable package or whatever and you get all the orioles games. So i've been watching the baltimore orioles. Who were terrible. But it's i'm kind of enjoying getting into the routine of at least watching baseball. 'cause i really didn't watch for like ten years twelve years or something like that and so it's a kind of a nice part of my summer. So that was my first olympic event. I watched this year. We should talk horse race and james. I know listeners. If i go more than three minutes of non racing they they tune out over to foretell show. So i got to. I kind of stick to the stick to the script and the saratoga weekend of course I know there's been big races each of the first two weekends. This feels like the first like kind of big card. Am i right on that or am i am. Am i being stupid. That they're all big cards. Absolutely i think so. I think there's a general surrounding S you know. I think it's taken away from the jim dandy field. There's been some forces like hockberg others that were eligible for that curl and being on stakes winner. That would have definitely running the jim dandy and made for better race so yeah having a six-figure race that say this is the day before and the only thing is you know. You can't be a state. Definitely horse. Like i captain I would like to see him. In the jim dandy so so there is i hadn't i hadn't looked at the pp's yet for that. We're speaking in the morning. I was going to look at it later. But this is the restriction is is that you can't be a steak source. Obviously central quality is going in the curling right.
