"Be more effective to help investors become more knowledgeable about the business. And so I just think it's going to be the proper application of AI that will have to sort that all out in the months and years ahead. Well, I do wonder too and you talk about certainly the wealth management side of the business. But I do wonder coming off the pandemic and we talk about a lot those that are financially in the underserved. And I do wonder how technology or AI continues to kind of help in that area. Yeah. I always fall back to Carol to that this is a relationship business. And people's money is very, very personal. Even still. Even still, and it doesn't matter if you have $5000 that you're saving for your retirement and you're just out of school or trying to save for a retirement. It doesn't matter what end of the spectrum that you're on. I think that whether it's AI or technology, it will take you so far in the process. But there is a point in time when you really do need the human interaction to really understand what the investors are thinking and how best to achieve their goals. That hasn't gone away. It hasn't gone away. And you hear that from your adviser. Here at all the time. Yeah. Here at all the time. So when it comes to where the growth opportunities you talk about technology and helping your certainly those who are working with your clients, that they're looking for growth. What else do you look at that you think, I don't know, 6 months from now, 12 months from now will be something that continues to be a big part of your world. That you look to grow into. Well, I guess I'm thinking like evolution, disruption, innovation. Yeah. So I already mentioned Pershing X, right? A bit innovative on the technology side. I would also say, and this is going to sound like I'm speaking at those sides of my mouth here. 'cause I live when you say technology and yet people are important. Yes. That's exactly where I'm headed. I still think that there's still great opportunities for digital interfaces with investors and maybe it's adviser assisted. But we're seeing a lot of activity with many of the FinTech wealth tech companies who still want to be disruptive and still believe that there's a market to be served and there is a market to be served by technology and the advice that these organizations can provide as an example, we just did a establish a relationship with a firm called art of financial, which is a family office wealth tech organization. And it's a bunch of ex Googlers who came out of the marketplace, engineers who really put together what they believe is a very, very credible valuable offer to family offices. And so very different than the marketplace that we would traditionally think of. Right, right. That would be attracted to a technology platform. But it's another way of getting into it, right? It's another way of getting into it. It's fascinating. It's a very fascinating. So that's one area. That we're really excited about going forward. I am curious to the last year it's so funny. I always feel like there's a catch phrase or something. A year ago, we might have talked a lot about crypto. Yeah. They sure were talking a lot about AI. Yeah. You said about your clients or the folks that you're working with, you know, a lot of it's how to grow their business. Is there anything else that kind of comes up that they're like these are things we're hearing from investors that we want to make sure that we're involved in? Well, I think that there are different asset classes that people are interested in. I'm always blown away by the private market. Here. Exactly. All the time. Exactly where we're going. So whether it's the private markets or digital assets and the digitization of those assets. Still. Still, different than crypto. But that's something that if you're sort of looking out on the horizon, I think it's got a lot of room to run and something that we being on the very interested in supporting the marketplace. And as the world's largest custodian, we're going to need to sort of play in the space. In terms of the mood here, what are you hearing? Some of the conversations that you're having with folks. I've been meeting with clients all morning, very positive. As you and I were talking before, I came on great buzz, great energy here. Excitement for the marketplace. And I think the future is pretty bright for us. It's kind of funny in a week where it's just been an interesting week. You've got a fed meeting. How much of that comes up in terms of the concerns that rates are going to still go higher, they're going to stay higher for longer. Yeah, so this is the way that we think about it. We've been in business for 239 years through all cycles, right? You see a lot of cycles. We've seen a lot of cycles. I've seen a lot of cycles. And so I think what the mood is going to be is, as I said earlier, if we can just sort of see through all of this, rates are going to be higher for longer. But it's manageable. It's manageable. And if people just take the long view, they'll be okay. I'm going to leave it on that note because I really think what it's been somewhat comforting is to hear people because if the headlines can be a little bit nerve wracking. But it does feel like kind of steady and kind of maintaining the course at this point. Yeah. So disruption, well, obviously bring opportunity for some, and we've saw today. But if we stay calm and we looked at the longer term, I think it would be great. Stuff happening? No, no check GTT here. Can I leave it there? Looking forward to Persian inside. It's always fun. I have to say, I always feel like I get so much out of talking to individual financial advisers. In terms of what they're doing, what's top of mind and sometimes we get so caught up in the big headlines, but they are, it's about investors trying to figure out how to retire, how to pay for things. It's really down to earth type of advice. So look forward to having you. Jim, thank you so much. Jim Crowley, CEO of BNY Mellon Percy. Thank you so much. All right. You are listening and watching Bloomberg business week on Bloomberg radio. Carol master along with Jess manton and just I think it's really silent to hear what Jim had to say. Fed, we talk about it a lot. We talk about earnings a lot. We talk about technology. And Jim Crowley, they're involved with a lot of different financial advisers and what's really top of mind is just making sure people have the retirements in place, putting kids through college. It really is kind of down to earth types of needs and financial needs, specifically. And he did reiterate to your point Carol about how he's still as

"And the health of the American consumer. Plus, why the NBA is looking to Africa for growth in its fan base and its talent pipeline. And entrepreneurial insights for the underrepresented from the CEO of genius guild. First up this hour, two executives who are excited to get back into the office, BNY Mellon Pershing, CEO, Jim Crowley, and chief operating officer, Emily schlosser. They joined our broadcast from BNY Mellon Pershing insight 2022. We have certainly focused on future of work and how we can have a bit of a hybrid. But I think also just the focus on digital. And so we're really focused on our interfaces, our experiences, bringing consumer grade technology to our investors, our advisers. So that's a lot of what we're featuring here at the conference. I know that being back comes with a host of challenges as well as the world does open up and people start to travel more. We're in an inflationary environment right now. And I'm wondering from your perspective how you're dealing with those challenges when you look across the macroeconomic landscape. Let's talk about mine for you. Yeah, what's up my mind, Tim, thanks for the question. A couple of things. One, I've been on the road like I think many other executives for the last several months. Visiting offices to encourage people to come back into the office, first of all, we're in this new environment. Are they coming back? They are coming back slowly. Okay. And the way that I think about it, Jimmy Carroll is, I think the value proposition for an employee to want to come back to the office has to be greater than the value that they feel and believe from working from home. And that is the magic that we have to create. We have to be able to demonstrate that there's a real value to have a personal interaction and to feel the culture and to no one understand what it's like to learn and understand what we all can do as a company together. So I do think we're better together than being far apart. One thing I wanted to ask you and I was from afar watching you interview the former CEO of PepsiCo Indra nooyi, who I've talked about she's pretty incredible and she's now helping other companies when it comes to leadership. Leadership has been tested in a big way in the last couple of years. It's going to continue to be tested as we move to a new normal. Tell us a little bit about the conversation and what jumped out in terms of her advice maybe. Yeah. So many great nuggets. One of the things that she talks about is the future of work and the importance of flexibility. So while I agree with Jim being back together, feels so good and it's a really important part of developing the fabric of our organizations. There is also a critical notion of allowing for flexibility, allowing for the families of our employees to really be more front and center in terms of how we think about the future of work. So that people can kind of lean into their careers while not having to push their families aside and not having to make so many of those hard choices. You know what I love about that? Yeah, I want to I just want to jump in because Emily, I love it. You've actually used some of this flexibility. Yeah, especially especially this week. And you know what's great is I'm at a, you know, a lot of my friends have young kids and it's the end of the year. They're going and catching the end of the year school plays and the end of the year graduations right now. And there seems to be this new acceptance. In the professional world, that these types of things are okay to do as long as you do get your work done. And Emily, I wasn't seeing this. You know, before the pandemic, does this shift permanent? I hope it is. I hope it is. And I think it will be. I think it has to be. Certainly as we've seen the labor market tighten, it is incumbent on employers to make sure that we are really providing the experiences for the people who work for us that make them want to stay in the workforce. So I think it has to be, you know, one of the things that Indra has observed in her time having been retired, post pandemic is driving around and seeing it 3 o'clock, all of these parents feeding their kids off the bus. And they're just taking ten minutes out of their day working from home to go greet their kid as they come home from school and what a special moment that previously no one in the professional world really had. It almost wasn't acceptable. It wasn't. That wasn't acceptable. Now it is especially for women. Especially for women. Sorry, go ahead. Now it's encouraged. Yeah, now what is encouraged? And now everyone is understanding of what that means, what this new hybrid work environment means. Well, this is important as I think about all of the folks here who are thinking about either staffing for the future, right? And what they need to be thinking about. And I'm assuming that this is why they're trying to figure out, do I need to continue to have to offer this flexibility going forward to attract that new breed younger generation of finance professionals? Absolutely. Absolutely have to. In fact, I talked about it on the main stage earlier today. The idea of what we need to do to keep great talent, what we need to do to coach great talent, but we need to do a track great talent. And that point exactly, we're not going to be able to attract great talent to our organization or to any work team unless we have that flexibility built in. Yeah. I was just going to say we spent a lot of time listening to our employees and really listening to what's important to them. And these are the things that have really make a huge moment. I mean, it's ten minutes. And it really changes the day. You know, they always say a better conversation. Those moments where you don't constantly think about what you're going to ask next, but just let it breathe and listen. And listening is just so powerful. I do have to ask you though in extreme volatility that we've seen. Are we being reminded in this environment, I'm curious what you are hearing from everybody that rethinking that volatility, a bit of it, a fair amount of it is normal. Like in our environment. It is normal, but not what many of the people in our workforce today have ever experienced. So this hasn't been the case for the last ten this year. And now we have it. And I think really important that we have, again, it's one of the reasons why being in the office some times, he had the opportunity to bring young talent and experience home together to sort of work through the challenges. It's a good reminder I mean, this is the third year in a row where we've had really outstanding moments where we've said, wow. This volatility feels incredible, but then at that point, it no

It almost wasn't acceptable. It wasn't. That wasn't acceptable. And now it is especially for women. Especially for women. Sorry, go ahead now. It's encouraged. Yeah, and that is encouraged. The idea of what we need to do to keep great talent, what we need to do to coach great talent, what we need to do with track great talent. And that point exactly, we're not going to be able to attract great talent to our organization or to any work team unless we have that flexibility built in. Yeah. I was just going to say we spent a lot of time listening to our employees and really listening to what's important to them. And these are the things that are really make a huge moment. I mean, it's ten minutes, and it really changes the day. You know, they always say about a conversation. Those moments where you don't constantly think about what you're going to ask next, but just let it breathe and listen. And listening is just so powerful. I do have to ask you though in extreme volatility that we've seen. Are we being reminded in this environment? I'm curious what you are hearing from everybody that rethinking that no volatility, a bit of it, a fair amount of it is normal. Like in our environment. It is normal, but not what many of the people in our workforce today have ever experienced. So this hasn't been the case for the last ten ish years, and now we have it. And it's, I think, really important that we have, again, it's one of the reasons why being in the office sometimes have the opportunity to bring young talent and experience come together to sort of work through the challenges of volatile. It's a good reminder I mean, this is the third year in a row where we've had really outstanding moments where we've said, wow. This volatility feels incredible, but then at

Plus, why the NBA is looking to Africa for growth in its fan base and its talent pipeline and entrepreneurial insights for the underrepresented from the CEO of genius guild. One, I have been on the road like I think many other executives for the last several months. Visiting offices to encourage people to come back into the office. First of all, we're in this new environment. Are they coming back They are coming back slowly. Okay. And the way that I think about it, Tim Carol is, I think the value proposition for an employee to want to come back to the office has to be greater than the value that they feel and belief from working from home. And that is the magic that we have to create. We have to be able to demonstrate that there's a real value to have a personal interaction and to feel the culture and to no one understand what it's like to learn and understand what we all can do as a company together. So I do think we're better together than being a far apart. One thing I wanted to ask you and I was from afar watching you interview the former CEO of PepsiCo Indra nooyi who I've talked about she's pretty incredible and she's now helping other companies when it comes to leadership. So while I agree with Jim being back together feels so good and it's a really important part of developing the fabric of our organizations, there is also a critical notion of allowing for flexibility, allowing for the families

"I've got two perfect guests to talk about some of the key topics Jim Crowley is CEO of BNY Mellon Pershing Emily schwarzer is COO of BNY Mellon Pershing And last time I think we talked in person all of us was back in 2019 We've done some things virtually Where are we in terms of the environment Jim let's start with you in terms of what's top of mind for everybody right now First of all thanks for being here It's great to see you in first and ten Thanks for having us Atop a mind is just being back That's how I started off our remarks today That's been back in the room the energy felt incredible It's just wonderful to be to see all of our clients back here in the room And just engage and network with them So that's top of mind for me But for you Emily I'll build on that Of course being back And then I think just the height You know the last time I think we talked for the virtual event was like okay what's it like working for home That was top of mind So top of mind is not having to talk about that anymore although we have certainly focused on future of work and how we can have a bit of a hybrid But I think also just the focus on digital And so we're really focused on our interfaces our experiences bringing consumer grade technology to our investors our advisers So that's a lot of what we're featuring here at the conference What is well I want to bring Tim in Come on into Hey guys I'm looking forward to seeing you tomorrow after my flight arrives late tonight Jim I want to go back to you because you said that you're focused on being back And I know that being back comes with a host of challenges as well as the world does open up and people start to travel more We're in an inflationary environment right now And I'm wondering from your perspective how you're dealing with those challenges when you look across the macroeconomic landscape What's top of mind for you Yeah what's up my mind Tim thanks for the question A couple of things Well I've been on the road like I think many other executives for the last several months Visiting offices to encourage people to come back into the office First of all we're in this new environment Are they coming back They are so good and it's a really important part of developing the fabric of our organizations There is also a critical notion of allowing for flexibility allowing for the families of our employees to really be more front and center in terms of how we think about the future of work So that people can kind of lean into their careers while not having to push their families aside and not having to make so many of those hard choices You know what I love about that Yeah I want to I just want to jump in because Emily I love you Have you actually used some of this flexion I know Yeah especially this week And you know what's great is I'm at a you know a lot of my friends have young kids and it's the end of the year They're going and catching the end of the year school plays and the end of the year graduations right now And there seems to be this new acceptance In the professional world that these types of things are okay to do as long as you do get your work done And Emily I wasn't seeing this You know before the pandemic does this shift is this ship permanent I hope it is I hope it is And I think it will be I think it has to be Certainly as we've seen the labor market tighten it is incumbent on employers to make sure that we are really providing the experiences for the people who work for us that make them want to stay in the workforce So I think it has to be you know one of the things that Indra has observed in her time having been retired post pandemic is driving around and seeing it 3 o'clock all of these parents meeting their kids off the bus And they're just taking ten minutes out of their day working from home to go greet their kid as they come home from school And what a special moment that previously no one in the professional world really had It almost wasn't And these are the things that really make a huge moment I mean it's ten minutes and it really changes the day You know they always say about a conversation Those moments where you don't constantly "We all know what he went on to do and he was entitled to need that run on his comeback and i think he will. There is an interesting one here. In the sense that has been switched from aidan. O'brien to joseph bryan. Aiden is having nothing to do with the melbourne cup. This year he. Mice have a runner at the spring carnival but he won't be having anything to do with saddam. Iraq will almost certainly be running in that race. But inish free this is this is the ideal rate for my mind and instantly. He went yes. That's what we're thinking. So i i agree to a certain degree i felt. He ran a a super race. I'm giving his time all. He's always like long since held in the highest regard. Did conquers on last year. For the darby on meet me to god was all over the ashley. It just never seemed to often was middle nagel after nagel little niggle for me in this race. Actually the horse. You're just talking about. There is back baxter. Lamar and it's a fascinating stable switch. I think they'll want to run very very well in this obviously before potentially going over there I i can't say i've recovered yet from the wounds of him. Getting beaten at roy ascott And the yes. There was just certain things. The frustration be that weak us potentially was because i kept having horses comparing near enough national fortunate getting their head in front. There was just a few royds on winners. Nobody seemed about an image on. I don't want to beat the drum of you know on losers. Still find that. But hector krige didn't get some sort of slap on the wrist even for is right on the winner in suriname rocks raises quite beyond me thank you. I'm rick came into the came into the band Saint louis around four wide and this evening went on a complete collection of to the stands still needs to limerick seven or eight wide. He gets beaten a neck. No stewards inquiry. No even slap on the wrist and it happened a few times. Jim crowley did it on one of those horses. I think the horse will hampson. Core suddenly swerved over onto roy moore and current ally this to continuously happen. I wouldn't be a massive man fourth leg in terms of beating the drum because other people in in in the media visas enough. I just thought that sort of stuff was. We'll just completely swept onto the car push on. I couldn't really believe considering salaam wreck was finishing a train. That's a roundabout way of thinking. I think he's got into improvements Filter three years old gets a weight-for-age allowance. though finish free which could be interesting. You know one raisings. He's only finds inferior and he's got made fans so Not something to potentially bear in mind. The one thing. I would say on on prior to get aga- my face but i would take on earls would all day long.

"That's code post. Cast twenty one. Let's go to ask next. Then we're gonna talk about the lebas stakes. Three road handicapper ramadhan. Four nist has a reputation for producing really small horses often a race to follow and it was won by majesty's chalk stream william haggas did train. The one two is candle. Foot was second but there was a mix up with weighing in unsaddling on the second place was was disqualified nevertheless the winner His effort stood and he's actually a full brother to reach the moon. Hopefully we're going to see on saturday in the champagne stakes but an majesty offering breeding these stoutly bread progressive forces. James and this also looks another in that sort of aim you just been relentlessly progressive. Yes certainly has. And i think this women's that's improved the guy knocking trip and i think that cool continue nothing. He probably will get a bit further. I'm on a connection. Discussed authorizes a mall six rice around out we can. They're gonna look at account remains val unfortunately the race. I was looking at this. And i know what happened now but odd. Lots of this whole melton cup. I think he just has everything for it. Unites got up at his speed troubles up. They're nice laid off obviously got a really big engine and the way he finished that rats and he would stay up two miles very well he travels were. It's an finishes. Well shame is going to be a very different male. cut they share but I think he's absolutely progressive halls. And i think next year. Be interesting to see what happens to him. He's already been gelded. Say i think we can pretty much guarantee he'll be trying next year and with sprouts nathan merges into a horse for raise. The re sort of goodwood cups loans doubt cups racist back over two miles and talking about the melbourne cup. This podcast couldn't go much further without talking about prince of our into now he finished fifth of five in the unit september stakes at kempton. But this is a whole really brought some energy at least from all perspective to the flemington showpiece in the last couple of years said behind twilight play payments in twenty twenty seconds abound declare in twenty nine saying He just brought his best to that every time. You're on the third to cross county in twenty eighteen as well He's a real funds favorite so just us a a your tribute to a wonderful globetrotter. He's really got charlie fella's name out there as a trainer james. Yeah massively and i think that the australian i think the australians of of really warmed to him and they wanted to charlie as well just have with with tomo count as well as beautiful host. Go out and run his race in big runs and come back and go year off year. We don't see it as much as we'd like to flatten which we constantly so the sad but we need to cry on the ground here in year out. And he's taken young trainer tool these different places to give him experience and he knows really wanna melt melting cut. The child is being represented. there is going buy. This goes to hong kong getting those experiences. In saying how how training operates in racing rights new plot loud it's massive it really teaches dryness law discussing about how are watching racing out of training host differently including rises a big thing. And i mean i suppose leoni sort of thing for for charlie While we say by prince arron it was emmy half hourly. We discovered another one. That could be a real new slip. Afrim in eve lodge. I was really reinvested in the in the spring rice. Yet that was this sarandia. Stikes evil has been a a real breakthrough dishes. Sixteen to one. Spring a surprise under jim crowley She by is hopefully going to want to become a host. That can take charlie elsewhere. But by that september stakes was won by hamish for william haggas novices. Quite painful for me. Talk about is always fun for the evil. But about twenty to warn. She was a last-minute scratching from that race and he's gone on to win agreement three beat him one of the most consistent Around two has phone lines linking with some of the best tools we've seen this season But hamish this was a very impressive. S wasn't james to win. A race led this after such a long time away from the track. He's well how good do you think he is. It's difficult to say. Because i've liked to see him in in a better rights again on know last year we saw him. Roy alaska didn't run too badly web. Those davis disappointing. I think anything. He didn't win shares. He wasn't quite there wasn't quite good enough but he looked to different this time around. It was impressive. Where any scott wrote guts the baton disney's epn see why you so like him in an equal rights because he just looks Grin termination needs to win big stein. Handicaps i mean. I'd say he similar to to the have we discussed that. For my skull he might be one that emerges into the races because he does look like he stays. We've obviously seen him over a bit verbal ready so we know he gets mall sex but to be pretty comfortable gamal and i think that without going to matter i think he'll probably win the yorkshire cut next year tipping already think but yeah he's really improving awesome like i say mattia got if he didn't get a chance to run for your money last rate to slightly not. As far drift the long distance cup he has an entry in that races around ten to one chance. How do you think you've match up against the likes of Designing narrowly behind in a conditions. race In in october twenty teen by neg who sent off four seven favorites. So i think that's a really interesting match. If we see these two great horses against each other again on stratovarius. We can't forget him who we're going to see this weekend as well. How do you think you'll fins. that picture. now is another year older. Yeah as you say. Remember that race you bring. It was absolutely botanist. Ground tom years while neabry can get very wet nestle. The late late flats. Andy handled it pretty well. Maybe speed the day but we now know how could true. Chaumet isn't how good is not grounds. That form possibly will be stronger than his his group for obey any conditions rice and to be interesting i think i think they definitely need to material and ascot's going to be a good opportunity We look at Judge is in our full racks but we don't know what the grounds in october. It's is how bad how wet is going to be testing. it isn't we know Brilliant on his day. He doesn't hamlets wellness true. Shot will and he's going to be that to be taken shots. You can't be afraid attitude. True sean because we've already got sick. Livestream cy hamish would definitely be one of those. Good couples is being able to ground. He seemed for reverse talk. There's a lot to like abutment. does land. Because as you say it's discussing the connections to have a race in mind method out and just just not able to turn up on the day. Yeah interesting don't ask think he'd run very well. Winning august is going to have an exceptional ultimate things very to plan. He's bodied hump. Stays british reputation. He thinks it's hooked. How come how come. It sounds nice hachem. Doesn't it who call come lock. Who who ca- lounge. I've ever been to one but one possible and i don't know who tim is running in. Well he's ends it in the The prince of hallways coda prince of bounces. It's princess of wells' stakes. Yeah not the prince of i was that in romanesque isn't a princess of wales and allies in the same race for hamdan-al-maktoum which is throwing a real so spanner into the works. 'cause jim crow as it stands is booked to ride our ozzie and dino new but to ride hokum and i'll tell you jim crowley doesn't gay wrong too often so if he thinks to allies he's better than hook him then our laws he must be a proposed but nevertheless i'm gonna stick with hook them simply because i think that writes escort was very strong. Rice won the tonight very impressive. When winning the hardwick accords in second was the aforementioned broom who wanna group one in france as we would just saying and who can was third and those free will well clear of the full funders and who can went further rice very very nicely travel beautifully struck for home and i thought we're going to take a good one so in from here and the only wonderful tonight. Just blow him away but broom ran him down the secondly on i just think the bumped into to proper group one who is that day wonderful tonight embracing in fact hardwick was a group one race in all but nine and i don't think that's He's going to be in anything of that quality here for all lousy is. He's well his knees. Got very very to- reputation is very disappointing author. They couldn't brush aside poile drive last timeout epsom. And i'm going to take a chance on hook him. Fating allies in that prince of princess of houses dykes on thursday at new market. Your five brilliant. We'll get there in the end as confusing. Isn't it very similar names on the same card. I'm quite interested in the bahrain. Traifi and the three at one fifty. So it's race like moundou. This has been the plan for him for an awfully long time and although he's taking on much better opposition for the first time i'd be interested to see how he gets on all sides for the shout while operation. Tc we've not touched on any juvenile races yet. We could see quite a few form lines. Class in the july stakes. Any thoughts on that one is a brief look across the races at this moment or company writes in my column for rice in outlook. I think sandrine when thursday I've just lived the weather forecast. Achy for name kit. I think today it's supposed to be clear an everyday leading up to the weekend. Spicer be down pulse. I currently could firm on july cosa name. Okay but don't expect not to hold And if the ground does gabbay testing than sandrino prove too strong for harare on thursday to the whole that one of the wholesome sunday machen to hosted at newbury I'm interested in Actually sundry mona fraud could be wrong. Check of cambridge Apologies wrong day. Also on friday in the foul mouth a quite like lady both will hope she runs in the rice. She's a five road and we're talking about this white for white age thing again. Which i mentioned earlier. I was too much. I'm gonna have to put up a five year old against the three year olds this time. Lady both Has to give the Atlantan premature nine pounds opportunity that we're going to run in the foul mouth and if they do then lady by go workout unite because three very good horses smell lonzo host the affiliate really like as well but she's having another quick style. The alaska dot knife. That will be good for a really liked lady though. I think she's a real nice horse this season. She's proved cape it. He's a great one level finished second palace pier in the lock in which was a stop. Foments one one nineteen Really good rum glossed. Alaska writes down. The middle of the track. Clearly didn't help. He needed to be stunned. Siding that cambridge in the angel produced a career-best coming against israel inside by fry towards the row lady. Both a one day thing. She's got good chance in the foul mouth then to newbury On thursday my not my next best in my column spoiler that if fans be again the rfid this week The net is going to be dubai. Sans i think he'll go off a notch price In the seven twenty. It's a month to frontal handicapped dubai signs lost. I'm out ran. The london go cup. Full monkey raven about love bay bridge. You one that writes michael stoute. He's a real good. Wholesome kawhi pins come out. Next time suffered a setback. So he missed roscoe dubai signs finish nine of ten Did produce good spin. Twenty four links came in off the odds quite disappointed. Came in off the varying said. They just didn't handle the ground. It was good to soft. He needs quickly conditions some. I'm hoping the rain stays away from newbury because if it does. He has a great chance of a mock of eighty six. I think he's very lenient. Very leniently treated without rating based on his victory rippin and one of the following novus rice. It's seven fifty howev life given a stinker of a ride on baby. I'm happy to use. It was a stink bomb on highly. You would have won. That writes with any kind of on being by betsy. Creating ally joined by david mooney. It was a good rice. I think a lot. Personalize the son of frank. Who gets clear on this time whom. I commend kind of final race. We're gonna talk about. Today is on super subsidy else. They dub it at the four twenty five the dalai eight july cup and some interesting horses entered here. Given that we're going to see. Of course roy hand in here supplemented by david evans of roy. Alaska winner against dragon symbol. He came very close in not high profile reversal. But oxted i think's leading the current market last year's winner on storm on another royal oscar. Absentee numbers well. Who do you have coming out on. Top giralda. haven't even mentioned the jersey when a creative force. It looks like it could be a strong renewal and exciting race. This one could be mad d. That's hope that the ground stays decent. And you know i. it could be a real krecko. Got some top class sprinter lining up propagate one hoses for.

I think maybe for regulatory juice and if one person is danes done something very wrong. Does that complicate matters of regulating defense But i think logically. It's a really good thing. And i'm sure multiple do enact the biggest trainer in this country. John gosden house done. Join the fight. So i think we will save more often. Great fantastic t say from a foreign perspective piedra de think we could see him backup space in a race. A king george. That's where they've suggested they'll go next. Well i'm not as much verve as a romantic as youtube. I wanted to win purely. Because i think he's the league like the stain division. He didn't manage to get by driver. Well actually you. Did you went offering at one stage but college back are thought. Personally the ride from jim crowley wasn't a one If always writing lousy no he may have hung down the camber slightly About something i'd love to say. I won't be ready for that long. I tell you. I'll be off after about that mob optimistic as well But he failed to change his legs about three phones out. A nestle hung down into paul driver which really helped him. He's very way would host can left and right and was lee mention. A great rival mountains watts managed to get towards the ryo to basically eliminate half the off the way he could go You could only go ride allows. Jim crowley came in boxing against the therefore that forerunners straight line. I wanted allows you to win. I thought japan and mobile beforehand were ridiculously an inconsistent and they just proved again. I won't be back in those two any rights going forward. I won't be back apologize. Because i thought he got his ideal circumstances. I think he's always take out the response on this point. Didn't win this podcast. You're getting the romantic. The wonderful musings have. Then you got the hold at the hard cold headed sort of punting head of tom. You've got the best of both worlds. Here i'm on woods was thought to the Which was when in devastating fashion sixteen legs in fact by snowfall under frankie dettori for eight nine brian. The trainer equal the record for numbers of british classic success Momentus win in not respect visually. This looked very impressive. Tom was as good as it looked detained. I think the marriage fell apart in behind snowfall but take nothing away from her. She is producing incredible performance. During sixteen ninety clear. The biggest wide the the widest margin we've ever seen in a classic Potentially a great one. I think here and she achieves an off the off one hundred and twenty three which is better than what love did last year and it was the same price. Writing is unable to cheese twenty seven so it was a phenomenal effort. The figgers section was under frankish stories. Ride just hands news right as well and stock up nicely as well so take nothing away from the favor however looking back in the field. I mean mystery angel Think state run a great race. I have to say. For joyce. Bobby and ben cut is on the nick. Broadly team She finished second and she was that from a long way. They didn't go slow early saturday. She managed to hold on for a second suggests. Those in behind necessarily run that races to fly only goes come down the center of the track. Chief finish off rating Stamina late in pedigree and she stayed better than the rest. Santa barbara very disappointing as predicted. I think i don't even think. Aidan o'brien on the ballot. Attainment necessarily know the best is all clouds when they come into the dhabi nights because it seems happening here on. Yeah but she was very disappointed. I wouldn't imagine no via sticking full with back in trip may be. She made a nice move into flatten out. Dramatically but look slow for was a really really exciting. Felicia seem to be in the mode of love last year. She was running all the same price as loved it and she shined dramatic improvement in two to three road whether she can win the I know she was in his favor. I think offshore rugs victory while is another matter but She's very exciting Division is an interesting point. You mentioned there about united host Second-string festering whatever. Because now we've had mother earth in the one thousand guineas we had mcsweeney winning the irish two thousand guineas. We've now heard snowy full winning race and seemingly the second-string Yeah it it. Just stuck up pops. They don't really know why they stunningly. What would your view on that bay within. That's absolutely right. I mean you look Body dole's classic winners his last few years and how many of them haven't been ridden by roy. Moore denies any reflect. Roy moore a small defied that these Largely unexposed three year olds. Who are still finding improvement at various rights of notes and they can't be sure which one's the best prices which is generally off and why bali dollah tended run five six seven horses in the dob it because they don't know into race which one is going to be the best. I'm sure they weren't expecting. In recent years wings of eagles. Anthony van dyke can serpentine to emerge as the best in their respective dhabi's So yeah. I think that that is the case and talk about the dhabi again later on but i was another if i read the subject.

"With rory and kate tracy who makes her glorious returns to the show. I'm not sure if he knew this or nas but jenny vinson not only. Are you previewing the darby you also be reviewing the meetings well off sensational will be able to look back at all the winning roy ups and all the horrible shouts by mike so laurie on some gravy. That's spirit. yeah. Let's get on board the gravy train will start with the coronation cup at epsom. I've got some questions for you jamie benson little bit later on a soc and offers and Reasons as to why we should be betting particularly on saturday. But we'll start by getting some gravy shelby so ally is short. price favourite. Ten to eleven is the general price about him for the coronation cup running going to preview the two one's on the friday then. It's all about saturday. Little bit of sunday with the french job as well so and jim crowley tend to eleven run. More is on board japan. Seventy two. We joked on the podcasts. Last week with rory that rory still does not believe in love lucy. I'll say this again. Not the concept. The resource doesn't believe she exists anymore and yet again. Love mrs and engagement joked. Wouldn't it be interesting. If they run the brothers well they are japan and mogul both run together with shaming heffernan onboard. Mogul a general six to one shot. Then it's piledriver tends and double figure prices about the rest. David on hud and chief is as big prices. You want if you really want to back him. You want to be backing him on the on the day particularly with toe plus giving you ten percent extra on top of your winnings. Lucy will start with you. What is your take on the coronation cup. And who do you think will be walking away with the price. It's always a good rice in the coronation cup said epsilon day this yale senator. Good renew oviously. A lousy comes into of the bathroom. Really impressive performance need when he won the grocery our states for me notice the aston past eight stops on soft ground of every day Spoke a bit about him on his co. cost before i just think he he's. He's a goal just looking moles. He's a big individual and he takes a liking to the course of new to the radio. Install some ground. So i did just the question mark next him. He'll like coast at seven by the hill. They'll take to the track epsom and growing conditions on the day. They went to be a bit curriculum. What he's usually run on and japan as well he. He takes his chance in the reysen. He's whole cycle. Wayside sided with the day. He took part in the dunphy states. Your He said that day he was running on amd he picked up another fine performance in adobe straight off the dante jones. I've always sided with him. News a big Adopted a few years going. He comes into this. He's he's winner. Tested this year He's coming back to Which he started liking to oversee running whether the job she has So japan will be my pick for the rights. such as stinky's unhappy really did not decide with him based on his performances last season. But i think he. He's a group one winner in the past. He's elected because he's he's obviously a brother to move while he takes his child so i'd much rather side with the whole site japan. Who is a so group one before the toss has proven his king to the track. And course epsom. Run the absolute blinder in that darby. I think last year is just a complete right off. We've talked about it quite a bit on the show. He's only really good. Run was that third to wrath as. We'll call now that he's retired back in these guys know another. According to laura king laura who will be on the podcast soon ray us who won the eclipse after that. Everything was a nightmare for him. He lost his shoes and his dignity in the king. George he was chosen by ryan moore. Which both rory. And i did a we. Boats spot our coffee As we saw the jockey declarations when we were recording podcasts That day for toes and we couldn't quite believe that ryan was on. The ryan was on japan because magical had shown more than enough for form to go and win the champion stakes. What's going on and Yeah i just think you have to write off last year. Forgive him that and Here we are. He's amazingly won first time out and it may very well be that he's a he's a better horse stopping said moguls had two runs and got it of mogul. Maybe i just hate money. So rory we've discussed a lousy before when andrew white knight broke this race down. We were of the view. That is an exciting horse. He's beaten thunderous and logistician and the jewish in is a shadow of the horse seemingly that he wants was he's also rated one hundred nineteen. He's not even the highest richardson this race. If you want to back them that's fine. But he's odds on so. I would be much more interested in what coolmore send. They've decided to unleash. The brothers. Japan and mogul and At the prices moguls where currently leading bosh will admit to the fact that already back japan. So i'm kind of in lucy's here as well. What is your thinking about the coronation cup. Listen in fairness well as you can you can. You can not be beat less than unday time before but we have to say as you know. Go back and look at the races and see how easily he wins. he was. He was ridiculously impressive. Last time i in not a ah don't think he was out of third gear so definitely deserves to be celebrated here by time. I wonder whether.
