"Six eighty WCBS. And the story says that these two daughters who spoke to the times are Democrats and are not fans of President Trump. I'm not saying they're making it up. I'm saying they don't know they have now is that they don't know. Know there are there used to be at least journalistic standards in this country that you know, I've been investigative reporter for years, and there are times when you smell store you think it's true. And you just knowing your hardest to, but you can't quite prove it, and you have to wait until you have the piece of paper that document the firsthand all of that is missing from the New York Times story, which says maybe the paper wanted it to be true. But it simply hasn't proven it. Our cursor at Fox News. Yeah. Your time's wanted this story about the bone Spurs to be true. But they just haven't proven, but they didn't stop them from publishing it you see in all of this just adds up that and they wanted it to be true. That Trump didn't visit the troops at Christmas time. And and they haven't rescinded that story. And then there's this. Here's our Pella Kosta there at CNN because it turns out Trump did go to Iraq. He was met with an overwhelmingly positive response. From members of our armed services who were serving and putting themselves in harms harms way there in Iraq. They asked him to autograph things like maga-, hats and Trump twenty twenty things. And so that brought us to this conversation. Listen to Tim Kosta here. What do we have that? I'm sorry. It's it's what we'll get to it in a minute. We'll come back to it. But Jim Costa's basically challenging the president the soldiers may have actually broken federal law. By by bringing mega hats. Now. These are the people who say they support you who say they love you who say that you're the best but the second they can attack Trump by throwing you under the bus the first in line. Yeah. We should get a federal investigation on soldiers and marines, and airmen and sailors.

"I'm sorry. Just got a text message while I'm sitting here. Someone blowing up the caravan. Yes, I agree with my friend. Who is texting Rodney that? This is a it's a story that I think the media needs to cover, and I think it's something Republicans need to keep covering, and I think it's another reason why we need to build a wall. And frankly, I think the president should call congress back while the Republicans still control the house of representatives and tell them to put up or shut up and build the freaking wall. It is time for us to build the wall coast to coast along the border with Mexico. You got all these Republicans who told him they would do it after the election. Well, it's after the election. It's time for them to do it in the fact that they're not doing it is proof yet again their line. And that's one reason some Republicans didn't bother to show up for the Republicans because they've been lying the whole time, and people know it, so the White House is fully restored. Jim costa's? White House excess that was much ado about nothing. They had actually threatened him. And said he was they were gonna take it all the way. Once the injunction was lifted CNN petition for an emergency hearing of the White House it up site just getting fully restored it. Oh well. Believe it or not the culture war continues. And I have saved this for the end because there are people who I realized get all squeamish with this stuff. But it is something that has to be confronted, and we might as well confront it. There is a sore two stories actually in the Daily Mail one of which is a column in twenty years. We'll look back on the rush to change our children's sexes. One of the darkest chapters in medicine says psychotherapists Bob withers, he's a British psychotherapist to is deeply concerned about the rush to do this. And there is a YouTube star miles. Mckenna who has gained traction miles. Mckenna is a teenager who is had a gender transition surgery has been documented on social media and just treat to something. Normal when it's clearly not normal. This comes on the heels of a story at a Great Britain that seventeen autistic kids in one school are being given puberty blocking drugs to a halt, physical development. So that they can begin transitioning. It is no coincidence at his seventeen autism kids highly. Highly persuadable in inconformity issues within their school. According to the doctors who are raising red flags about it. And yet there are people who think this is something that's normal and just going to have to be more and more vigilant and mindful of the stuff in California, they're treating his normal. I was talking to somebody the other day who moved to Californian first day in school. His kid was had to learn about the ginger unicorn. It's just not right there are people with deep emotional issues, and we should not treat it as healthy or normal. What's happening? These are people with deep, psychological issues. You cannot be you cannot change yourself. And by the way, if it is a social construct changing your body for a social. Construct is is insanity. If genders social construct you don't change your body for it nonetheless. There's this push to do this in a normalization effort underway in the media. Meanwhile, in Australia, bridal magazine is being shut down because it refused to run ads for same sex couples. I this stuff is not going away. And there are a lot of people who just want to be left alone. But you know, this is one of the issues with suburban voters to the suburban voters who what everybody to be nice to each other. This is just so. When do people do this just just leave each other? Well, what they're ignoring is that there is a class of people out there called progressive activists who will not leave other people alone. It's not like the Christian butcher Baker candlestick Maper make or maker out there holding up signed with the westboro Baptist church condemning gay people using slurs. It's just they want to be left alone. They want to practice their faith in their business and their faith says they can't do this and progressive activists are targeting them. Yes. The guy in Colorado Jack Phillips, he was specifically targeted by gay rights activists that never came out of the story. But if you read the court record, it's true he was targeted by gay rights activists. And all you suburban voters who just you want..

"Just less than an hour ago. What happened because it looks like. Looking at the time here and. Folks, this is really in the last I guess hours. So the White House has now decided to fully restore Jim Costa's press pass and not jahnke it in two weeks after the temporary restraining order ended so something and again, a cost the got this letter the letter I started to read the four the bottom of the hour break got to clarify a cost. They got this letter apparently late on Friday. And then it was made available. Just this morning apparently. And now we find out that the White House is not going to pursue. I wonder what's what's happening. What are what's going on here? So the letter the letter let me continue here the factual basis for this preliminary decision to suspend your passes as follows as, you know, President Trump has provided an extraordinary amount of access to journalists to ask questions that's true while operate an an extremely open and transparent White House. The White House does not have a written code of conduct for journalists participating in presidential press conferences, we had not previously thought that a set of formal rules for journalists behavior at press conferences was necessary. That is because it had been previously been widely shared understanding that one a journalist called upon to ask a question. We'll ask a single question and having received the response will yield the floor unless at the discretion of the president. Or other White House official answering questions a follow up question or questions is permitted after which follow ups, the journalist will then yield the floor. I think that's reasonable. I do I think that that stipulation in point number one in the letter to a cost from late Friday, that's reasonable and number two. When a journalist has had his or her questions answered the journalist is expected to yield the floor, and when applicable physically surrender, any microphone, the journalist is using. Two White House staffer used by the next questioner three basic common sense is practice. Aren't three basic common sense practices are necessary. For orderly press conferences that are fair to all journalists in attendance. They have served the public the press and the president. Well. Your behavior at an seventh press conference violated the basic standards covering such events, and is in our preliminary judgment, sufficient sufficient factual basis to revoke your hard pass. Well, this is our preliminary decision, we'll be pleased to consider any material you would like to submit in response to it. Should you wish to contest this preliminary decision or the factual basis set forth in this letter? Please submit a written response to us in writing via Email by five pm on Sunday November eighteenth. So that was yesterday five PM Kosta was supposed to have any kind of a. An appeal or trying to contest this should you not submit a response by that time. This preliminary decision will be final you may submit that response by emailing it to one or both of us that would be Sarah, Huckabee Sanders, and or Bill shine the communications director at the White House. We are happy to consider that response and any other materials, you would like to submit before a final decision is made in this matter, should you. Choose to contest this preliminary decision and submit a written response to this formal notice we will consider your written response. And we'll issue you a final determination in writing three PM on Monday, November nineteen twenty eight team that was just forty minutes ago. Of course, you will continue to maintain your hard pass while the temporary restraining order issued on November sixteenth two thousand eighteen remains in effect. So something changed. What do you think changed? Was this? Looked at by White House counsel. Did this go through? Legal review is that what happened did the lawyers? Get a hold of this did did the White House attorneys finally say, where's a whole lot of has this. You're going to lose. Again. There's gonna be another hearing at another team, you're gonna lose, but they they withdrew this. So this letter again, apparently a constant got this late on Friday. He was supposed to respond by five PM yesterday Sunday. And now the White House apparently is withdrawing this according to multiple sources, Fox News channel ABC news. CNN MSNBC are all saying that they have restored Jim Acosta's credentials in full. And it looks like permanently. Hang on a minute. I've just gotten something new. I've got a new letter here. This is from CNN the White House on Monday backed down from its threats to revoke Jim Acosta's press pass having received the formal reply from your council to our letter on November sixteenth. We have made a final determination in this process. Your hard pass his restored. This is the new letter. So the old Leonard..

"Well, I think CNN's argument under the first amendment is really they're they're better argument. The argument that you know, if the White House is going to set up a system where people get press passes, you can't discriminate among the various reporters on the. The basis of their views on the basis of what they say that is content based discrimination. And that's something that is generally prohibited under the first amendment. I think the the the do press less are due process argument is weaker. I don't think, you know, the White House is obliged to follow strict procedures in deciding who gets the press pass, and who doesn't, but the idea that Jim Costa's press pass was taken away because of what he said not because he was disruptive not because he proved himself unfit to be in the press room that argument, I think is where CNN is going to win or lose. And I think it's it's a good argument. I think it's a very good argument. You know, Gloria, the president is really determined in the White House determined to fight this, and it sort of underscores the foul mood based on what the president has been saying that he clearly is going through right now presumably as a result of his disappointment that the Republicans didn't do better. In the midterm elections. Look the White House called it a stunt. It's obviously, it's a very serious issue. And all of us have done a bunch of reporting today about the mood inside the White House. It's kind of like a hyperventilation chamber in their in their the the president's in a bad mood. He didn't do as well as he thought he should have done in the in the midterm elections. He wants to clean house. I've a source told me, you know, yes, he's upset at people. But on the other hand he wants to face off against the Democrats is looking forward to that. Because he likes to he likes to have an enemy, but everything is up in the air. They're now, which is I think the way Trump likes it. You know people's heads are on the chopping block sort of somebody. We thought was fired yesterday is still there today and all of this is being played out in public like a soap opera, which is the way the president likes. And there's always, you know, this you live at going into those doors every day. But there's always a sense of chaos in the sentiment certainty. But that is heightened. We are all told it to the nth degree right now. You know, the president thrives on. Reports that this person in the cabinet or that person the staff are going to potentially get fired. But right now, we're told that's real it's not just, you know, playing games it's real, and what is really troubling to people inside the White House and in and around the Trump world, not just people who work in the building is the the uncertainty is even more than usual being fomented by the president. I mean, it's it really is kind of a hunger game situation that he knows that people are worried for their jobs and is kind of involved in situations. Whether it's sitting in a room in the White House on election night huddled with the first lady, and Nick Ayers, who's now the vice president's chief of staff very much rumored to be talked about to be his next chief of staff huddled there for a long time people looking at them saying what's going on. What's this about? Understanding is that that was intentional. Whether Nick Ayers was offered a job there or not it doesn't matter. He was trying to see somebody get a leak. This is somebody going to, you know, think that maybe Nick Ayers has the job that John Kelly wants and the president rebels in that kind of uncertainty, and frankly backbiting moment he's been looking forward to for some time. Now, he's been waiting until the midterm elections were over in order to make some of these big moves because he'd been told by his advisers by Republicans on the hill. Please do not do anything else to create more problems for us going into this election that's over with. And so now, he's taking this moment to let let his staff know that he wants a change. But as with always with President Trump, he's seeing a problems all around him as seeing people giving him bad advice..

"I think it's great that the first lady has a really do. I'm not being sarcastic. She showed. I think president need somebody who can give him unvarnished advice and truth. I think it's great. But it's if you're gonna go public, ma'am, this is would be my advice. You have to go all the way. In other words, if you say that misery cartel is unworthy to serve our country. You'd better tell us why she's a big question. Mark do you have any idea why? Because the other thing we've been reporting, and this comes to the line of Jim Mattis that is that she was very loyal mayor record out to the president to she would say. Don't let Mattis hire this person or that person. They're not loyal to you. They may be Bush people or whatever it is. Right. That the president may have had some loyalty to record L, which perhaps trumped his own wife's wishes. My experience was Mira was that she was always very professional. So I don't know what transpired in the last couple of months as I said, I do think it's a it's obviously unprecedented. But Mike to the first lady as well as that she was always incredibly kind and gracious and further take the step would mean, she felt very strongly about something that occurred. Yeah, I will say I think to Paul's point, Mark. Would you agree that we do have a right to know someone's going to come out and say unfit to serve the country. You're gonna say besmirch someone's person in there and their career in that manner that we would all deserve to know why if you're gonna put out publicly, okay? And certainly we've reached out to get her side of the story. We have not heard that yet. But, but we have of course, reached out for comment. We all we all can agree. It's the Farren important for all to know if that's put out there. What it is. All right. Thank you, also very much and next a second court challenge just filed saying Trump's appointment of acting attorney general map Whitaker is unconstitutional and congressman Adam Schiff, my guest tonight with a warning. Plus, a judge granting CNN hearing tomorrow, and it's case. "And and hit the requirements of the law for getting an injunction. There is a possibility of damages claims under what's called a bins action for civil rights violations. We have not added that claim. Now, we wanna get Jim Costa's press credentials back getting back doing his job. But that's something. We could always think about down the road. If you sue them individually for damages they have to go out and hire their own attorneys, then they then they have to get their individual attorneys, and and in litigate like a litigating civil lawsuit where damages are at stake. And when you say damages that means. Financial down exactly financial damages. And here we want to stand up for the first amendment principle. We want to get Jim Acosta back doing his job. We want to stand up for that first amendment principle that there needs to be fairness that's down the road right now, we just want to get those press credentials back. And we're glad the judge has given us a fast hearing tomorrow White House should immediately do the right thing and give those press credentials back to Jim Kosta and move on let the let the business continue you guys could drop your lawsuit. Right. They could they could solve this very quickly. And and they really should do it. It's the bigger principle here. Let's hear from everybody presidents a tough guy. He can he can argue back. And he does it all the time. That's all this is about. That's what the first amendment is about. Let's it's it can be rough and tumble. That's what we want. And and that's what means the first amendment means C N N is proud to have Jim Acosta as our chief White House correspondent, he's very strong appraise a tough guy himself and CNN stands fully behind him. We need to get him back in there too. Good luck. Thanks so much for joining us coming. A stunning unprecedented. And so they they make themselves front and center, and they essentially, yeah. Where liberals and. Yeah, we hate you. And we hate Trump. And we're here to do that every day that's wide CNN and genders such negativism above and beyond just the content. But they don't they don't know what Trump's talking about the rallies having slightest idea that Trump is. Touting this magnificent, economic recovery. He Tout's it multiple times a rally Andy focuses on immigration. I don't read the New York Times much. I just I just don't there's nothing in it. That surprises me. I don't need to read the New York Times for examples of liberal media. And how they operate people send me stuff for the New York Times. You wanna see this? You know, I don't need to see it. But there are rare times when I do consult the New York Times and getting close to elections is one of those times. I have a reporter out there by the name of. Jonathan. Just a mental block of it. Just. Used to be if the politico, and he's still sends me advance copies of his stories. And his story that not in the version. I had an imprint his name. It'll come to me here in a fleeting fleeting moment. Trumps nationalism is breaking point for some suburban voters risking GOP coalition. What this story is about is about how there's a bunch of John casick out there in wealthy Republican upper middle class suburbs of major cities who hate and despise Trump because Trump is a nationalist. Trumps nationalism is breaking point for some suburban voters risking GOP coalition. Two years ago, the presidential election hinged in large part on a rightward shift among working class whites who deserted Democrats, Tuesday's house election may turn on an equally significant and opposite force a generational break with the Republican party among educated wealthier whites especially women who liked the party's pro business policies but recoil from president drums divisive language on race gender. So you see love what's happening with the economy. But they hate Trump's tweets. They hate Trump's tweet. Trump's tweets are why the Republicans are going to lose the house, essentially. Rather than seeking to coax voters like these rich suburbanites back into the Republican coalition. Mr. Trump appears. To evolve it written them off spending the final days of the campaign, delivering a scorching message about preoccupations like birthright citizenship and migrant invasion from make these voters see through as alarmist. Jonathan Martin is the guy here in Republican-leaning districts that include diverse populations or a but cities do from bulwarks of sunbelt conservatives in like, Houston and Orange County California to the well manicured bedroom communities outside Philadelphia in Minneapolis. The Republican party is in danger of losing its house majority next week be caused mister Trump's racially tinged nationalism is alienated these voters who once made up a dependable now, wait. Stick with me on this. Don't get don't because the race. He's not coming up. So what we're being told here is you have these wealthy. And by the way, he went to wealthy suburbs. He went to river oaks in Houston river oaks is take the richest neighborhood in your town and multiplied by two and that's river oaks outside. Here's an and that's where he went. And he's talking to people in river oaks and similar circumstances in Orange County, California outside Philadelphia main line Philadelphia, one of those disenchanted voters is Jay Mark Mets, a sixty year old partner at one of Houston's press digits law. Also, he's a lawyer. The lawyer. What are the odds a warrior was ever going to be a Trump supporter? Anyway, I continue Mr. Mets had never voted for a democrat presidential candidate until two thousand sixteen. Wait, just a minute. We're interviewing a guy who voted against Trump in two thousand sixteen is still against Trump. And that's the news. Now, if this guy had voted for Trump in two thousand sixteen and was now not voting Trump. That would be news. What this guy has been a turncoat since two thousand sixty this guy voted for Hillary. Well. Voted for somebody who wasn't Trump in two thousand sixteen. So again, one of those disenchanted voters is Jay Mark Mets a sixty year old partner at one of the city's prestigious law firms Mr. Mets had never voted for a democratic presidential candidate until two thousand sixteen. Now, he and some of his neighbors in the moneyed river, Oregon Clave of Houston are about to oppose a Republican wants ungiven to register their disapproval of President Trump. With congress not really standing up to Trump this elections becoming a referendum said Mr. Mets explaining why he would no longer support. Reelection of Representative John Culbertson, an eight term Republican. The fact that this guy has hated Trump for two years is not news what they're trying to say. This guy is turning against the Republican party is turning against people. He's always supported Justice send a message to Trump. This is not a classic kind of voter. This is somebody who motivated inspired by his hatred and disgust for Trump. And it's being written about to make it look like this is something new. But the guy voted against Trump in two thousand sixteen and wants to do it again. And the only way to do it since Trump isn't on the ballot is to vote against his congressman. And then they go onto point get because this guy just doesn't he doesn't like the way Trump talks about immigration. He doesn't like the way Trump. Talks about caravan. Just did this just doesn't like this. This. He paneling fear and or references. The AB the president amplified is fear peddling Wednesday night with an online video being widely condemned as racist speaking of which. Can I give some details about that ad that are not in it? You know, this this this killer, this this brusque Allante, our basketball me, or whatever his name is. Brakha Montes here. This guy is he shot a black guy in the face five times. This is the guy that's in the ad who drops all the F bombs and wishes he'd killed even more cops. And this is what the left and this and these Republicans, and this is just beyond the this is so so it makes me nervous. I just wish my. His nationalism stuff. I can't I can't I guess hate Trump so much. By the way, you know, what flips suburban women from democrat to Republican that all Jonathan Martin here. Don't talk about what what issue is flips. At least according to polling, data and. Examination of voting stats. What is it? That flips suburban white women from democrat or Republican. Immigration immigration is the issue. That flip have you heard all the talk about all the left surprised at how many suburban women voted for Trump immigration that made that happen. And that's one of the reasons why Trump is harping on. It canceling out some of this. Lunatic stuff that's going on in the suburbs. Anyway, this guy in this ad Lewis black come on days. Shot. A black guy is not in the ad. But I just want to who he is shot a black guy in the face five times during his cop killing spree. The black guy survived a black guy who was shot in the face survive. He testified in court the shooter, but I come Montes spewed the N word at the black cop that he shot called him a monkey and yelled at blacks on the jury that black lives don't matter all of this on mentioned by Trump's critics. That's they didn't even put this in the ad. This is who the left is defending. So again in that ad that we played for your twice mom at fifteen ten minutes ago. Convicted killer Lewis black among tastes dropping the f bomb in the ad unhappy. He didn't kill more wanted to kill more. Shot a black guy in the face five times during his cop killing spree the black guy survived and testified in court, but I a Monte spewed. The N word at the black cop called him a monkey and yelled at blacks in the jury that black lives don't matter. This is an illegal immigrant. This is somebody that typifies the kind of people Trump doesn't wanna let in the country. And I guess we're just supposed to stand aside. Let them in. If they're part of a caravan. Of course, Trump critics don't. Don't mention any this, by the way, grab somebody twenty Jonathan Martin here was on CNN just moments ago. And let's just. Only analyze this. After I hear it what the president. So loves is also going to be a major factor in the downfall of the house majority. If the Republicans do lose it, and that is this election has been all Trump all the time the last year and a half in Washington and really around the country has been, you know, Trump taught he is the product and he relishes that. But the problem with that is a sixty percent of the country doesn't like the product and a lot of them happen to live in competitive house races. So whether it's talking about the tax cuts, the relative, stability abroad, or any other sort of positive indicators that is less important now than Trump like Trump is the message for good or for bad not policy or substance, it's striking. If you talk to voters out there. It doesn't matter the race sooner or later that conversation it's going to Trump. So these these few once again, it's not about substance. It never was about substance. Right people that voted for Trump was never about substance. This is where. Jonathan you people it wouldn't take long to find out who Trump voters. Are you don't have to sit there in disdain of them every day. You don't have to spend every day in controlling him in contempt of who they are. It's not hard. They voted on issues. Trump happens to be he's not the product. Trump is not the product the issues existed. Trump came along. He's the only guy that hit home with people on these issues. Now people are invested in Trump. I mean, there's a lot of people that know full, well, they they've got to save and protect protect Trump because there's nobody else out there. And it's going to continue to fight on these issues. So sixty percent of the country hates Trump to the Rasmussen poll hasn't at fifty one percent approval. Where's the sixty percent of the country? Hate trump. Anyway, I've take a break here, folks. Would you be just be patients open line Friday at a lot yesterday? Rush.

"Any guy that can do a body slam? He's my. This is like the the election or just before. And I said, oh, this is terrible. He's gonna lose the election. Then I said, well, wait a minute. I know Montana pretty well. I think it might help him. Yeah. Yeah. And then now he's today who do you regret to say? No, he didn't know. I regret saying that come on, man. I'll regret that at all. Sexy all in fun. Joy Behar, though, she said that joy Behar from the view. She said that you know, that put the Trump was doing here is he is advocating violence. So he's telling him Alania. He's doing is. He's straight up condoning violence against the media at the same time as the investigation into whether journalists jamarcus show Gatow was murdered. And also, they cut his body. That's a terrible story. Okay. Joy, somebody people who watch the view did the view talked about how Malania Trump was bullied by that by that rapper. You know, the strip tease on the on the resolute desk have any of the gals from the view come to her defense. Anybody anybody? No, no, no. You have reporters who were actually cowering in fear because of what they consider to be attacks from President Trump. A friend of mine. So let me say this that was out of character for him. He has apologized for it. But let's remember Jim Costa's the same person that's been covering Trump and the campaign and had death threats directed he's also had people chanting in his face CNN size. Good friend. Don, lemon has had death threats. Blamed a lot of the Trump rallies and sort of that over on the death threats against a lot of CNN reporters in Atlanta, my colleague, former colleagues are afraid to go to work. So I think the tone comes from the top. I don't recall a time when we heard this kind of attack on freedom of the press on our first amendment. And I think it started with this. There's no attack on the freedom the freedom of the press. There is no attack on the first amendment. I love this. My good friend colleague, Don lemon getting death threats. Yeah. I got death threats when I was on Don lemon show when I was but it wasn't from. I don't blame CNN for it. I blame the rabbit Obama supporters say. Death threats. That's why Jim Acosta's. That's why it keeps going back to the route is because he's afraid of them. I'm.
