I i know i say this from time to time but it means a lot to me that you guys report day of so. Thanks for doing it another way that you can support. Dave is if you go to ask the podcast coach. We this in the chat room and for the record. If you're listening to this later everything we're talking about you can find it. Ask the podcast. Coach dot com slash three twenty but I have worked to deal and this is all your fault. Jim yes. I love it. When it's my fault it was probably what a couple of months ago you bought something from sweetwater and you were talking about like wow. Their customer service is crowley is incredible. And i started kind of nudging people over there. Like hey anyway. And you're going to hear dave's working on a couple of partnerships I think that's going to be something i do. And twenty twenty one because that is a way to kind of grow your audience and to make a long story short if you would ask. The podcast. Coach dot com slash sweetwater. That is My link and i do get a a bit of a kickback. If you buy anything over there. And i looked into this. Because i thought well it's cool that you know they have great customer service but the also have things like for almost everything you get an extended two year warranty on everything you buy actually cause a guy called me yesterday from sweetwater why because i ordered the zoom four wanted one because i think they're cool and i recommend them a lot and i'm like i should probably have one so i can really make sure i'm not. I'm talking about for lack of a better phrase so they call me to let me know that it had shipped. They didn't send me an email. And i was talking about and he said oh. Yeah he goes. It doesn't happen a lot. He goes but we've actually given people like stuff even though the the manufacturer warranty was a year if something went wrong and the still under the two year warranty goes. We've we've shipped people stop. He goes because it's you know you can carry the customer so they also have free shipping. So if you're like. Yeah but. I'm an amazon prime thing now. Free shipping so i'd have to pay for shipping and they also have tech support. So if you get stuck with something that you bought from them you can actually call them and go. Hey i'm trying to plug the thing he into the what you call it in. It's not doing the the huge image. It so yes so. That's something i'm kind of excited about. And i'm hoping because man they love to call you. That's great. I'm hoping to build a little bit more relationship than i did with say. Be an h or amazon. Because these you know it's just something. I'm i'm hoping that's gonna turn into to something. As we all love gear they taxed. He texted me yesterday. Texted and said. Hey i'm working with your buddy dave now. Thanks for the referral. So like i've. I have literally bought less than two hundred dollars worth of things from sweetwater like i i made. I made that one. Purchase they kind of like they in from that one purchase. They stayed in contact with and he. They must have some serious. I think the podcasters could learn from this. They must have some serious. Crm mojo going on that that either is automatic where it sends out this note automatically or it prompts them to hey reach out. It's time to reach out to so and so and send a little note because that keeps the top of mind now. I'm going to buy this. Motoo am too and i was thinking. I wonder what the price is over there. Sweetwater water it's the same as amazon and it's free shipping and they call me like that's never going to happen amazon if i had a problem with it and i needed to ship it back. That's not going to be a problem with sweetwater so yeah i think i'm i'm with you. I i continue. I'm i'm getting ready to buy 'em too and i think it's going to be at sweetwater. Well now you can go to ask the podcast coach dot com slash sweetwater. Yeah i was checking their prices because that was the other thing i looked at and for the boom arm. I'm using the m forty eight from sampson. There actually ten dollars cheaper than amazon. And i was like well hello. That's kind of cool. The only thing. I saw because he hears one of the things now. This is a day thing. I don't know that you would have to do this. But because i have multiple websites i started using a a website called rebrand louis. I think it's dot com. And what i do now is. I put my affiliate links or partner links in there and then i use that lincoln that way i can see how many links from all my websites are using that lincoln the other thing that made it really nice is i updated the links there once in an update. All i- website so that's That's kind of cool but Banks before he rolls away. Wanted to throw this up here Road is planning to ask me anything. Overdone assuming that is read it. Because you know it's banks So if you go to read slash are slash podcasting on the twenty-third which is two days from now. At ten am eastern road will be doing an ask me anything. Good my first thing that's going to be. What's when does the broadcaster version three come out or whatever because it's it's going to be interesting to see and while we're talking about events do have another one We put the link to this. Podcast movement is doing and event. And silly me. I copied the link but i didn't copy the details. It is i want to say december ninth. And it's just a yeah. It's a home for the holidays. Podcast movement virtual meet up. It is wednesday december ninth at two pm eastern from two to four. So it's just an online meet up thing. And i think that's where i think they're using that cool program where you kinda hear the murmuring in the background it's swell goal or something like the hall. Yeah yeah so feels like.

"Branding dot co and be sure to tell mark the dave jim sent you so i think i of the year i'm gonna i'm gonna have to my stuff actually i i have a Call with brendan from pud page. And there's a day he now has a network version of that and i was like Now it's a one hand. I think it's fifty bucks a month but when you throw in asked the podcast coach Podcast review show best podcasting gear. You know all of a sudden. I'm mike and you multiply those by twelve fifteen bucks. I'm like And so i need to figure out how that is. But i would then need a logo for the power of podcasting network. Now mike i might be marked for that. So still think. I don't think there's anything in a network. No i just don't i just don't think it's this even worth the time the The only reason i have mine is if somebody goes to work and find all your stuff. And i go. All my stuff is a power podcasting dot com if you're looking for my main stuff. School podcasting dot com. But it would be nice. There might be a little cross promotion you know. You never know age fifty bucks a month or fifty bucks a year fifty bucks a month For unlimited websites. Right now this is interesting. Of course this is where somebody goes. Didn't you just saw talk about mark paying but it's one of those things that made me think about it was like So that'll be the end of mark's sponsorship. He's like hey thanks. Sponsors he's final. Hopefully were like you said. I i i have been milling around when in. I think i'm gonna give him my current. Because i don't actually you know had a designer. Do my logo staff. Eight years ago seven years ago and it's been great because it's lasted that long. But i i lost a bunch of the files like in in. I don't like my designer. Made a custom font for me. So i don't have any of those fun files so i don't. I can't make anything new now. I could contact him he's he's I could but at this point. Is this like well. I think i'm just gonna start over by give him. Hey here's my current branding. I wanna spend some time thinking about how this could be different. But the same. I don't wanna leave it. Color is and all that other stuff but that was the cool ukraine more. That was the cool thing with the school of podcasting said. Hey i really liked that font like what was it like. Oh it's this font in. Here's where you can download it. So i forget what i think it was. Some google fought on. Who knows what it was but it was very cool to make sure that if i want to you know keep with the brand you know. Dana says mark designed to logo for something mine. I can't decide which one to use. That's the problem. They're both good both really good. It's it's hard. I think you should spend a little time. Brand is one of those things better not to make a decision like eleven thirty at night before. You're getting ready to launch something. Yeah give it some time. Make sure you give it some time to think about it test. It have some other people like at at that kind of stuff Banks saying network as a personal brand could be. I've seen people do that. Or they're like everything it's like. I said everything if somebody goes. Where can i find everything you do like. Oh and that's why. I made that website. Because somebody said. I didn't know you had these other podcasts. And i haven't been dropped. I used to at the very end. Say you know this. Podcast is brought to you by the power broadcasting network you know blah blah. I used to put that in. And i'm with you. I'm kind of like yeah. He's zero in your camera for me. We got somehow. I think we knocked it off and your a little bit to the. You're a little bit there we go. Okay talk about something interesting jim. Go riveting riveting audio all day ago's in industrial than i am so i'm the average guy. Tv that have as kind of the network brand. But then i used home gadget geek. Cyber frontiers on there but certainly home gadget geeks has the brand. It's got the brand recognition. That's what most people know meows by debut. You introduce me. Here is the average guy dot tv. That's that's kind of where i land do you. Own jackson dot com. I do not in that guy. His basically threatened a lawsuit. If i ask him again. He's like look. I'm not selling because there's almost nothing there no and i was like you don't ever price because i you know i don't know big pockets but you know think about it. And and he was like look. I never going to sell this please. You contact me every single year. I'm not going to sell it. And i have because i had the thing on. Go daddy were would watch it and try to steal it if he forgot kind of thing and he was just like. Please contact me. So i have david jackson dot or is that was the only one that you know i did. I did The dot m. e. You can do not for a while. i think. I owned. But i think i'll go. But maybe not. Jim jim collison dot me. Well thing why. I know. I heard james cridland talking about. They were going to come up with a podcast and i was. That'd be cool. If i could get dave jackson dot podcast or something students that actually makes sense and then if we all move to it it would. It could get a really strong brand. Yeah but there's with those they're they're they get expensive. I just. I think i'm gonna let go. School of podcasting dot fm. 'cause it's like any bucks a year and i'm doing nothing with it originally. I had a streaming radio station on that. And i just it was like this not worth eighty bucks and i was thinking of letting it go when i was like. I don't know it's just one of those things where it's like. It's not fun just like eighty dollars on fire just like you know it's like well it's only you know six fifty whatever a month or you know it's like little charges especially on your credit card if you're not like i just realized i had paid pot so i did you know they. They offered me. Because i've i've i started a and so they offered me like. Hey we'll give you a pro for like ninety nine a year for the first year. Yeah and then. I'll shut it off well in february. I didn't shut it off and it was one hundred nineteen i. I didn't discover it until yesterday. Like you're thinking thinking. I should probably watch my credit card a little more closely on some of these. So they can you got. I think you really ought to be careful what you sign up for and make sure it's a limited credit card or something. I signed up for monster insights. It's this cool plug in. And he has a pro version but the pro version for. I think i have like five ten websites of which i'm using too. I think is like four hundred dollars a year. I got a black friday sale last year. For one hundred fifty nine bucks and i was like yeah 'cause it it does make basically pulls in your google analytics and makes them very easy to understand what's going on and i saw where it's coming up. I think next week. And i emailed the guy and i'm like hey like i'm gonna cancel and then signed back up when another black friday sale any chance i can just get the bi. Can we save the hassle of me. You know any he offered me. I think a different deal wasn't quite as good but wasn't four hundred bucks. And i was like so. That's one of those where i'm like so and that's where i sent you a note on if you saw it. Have you ever heard of clarity dot. Microsoft dot com o. Haven't i had some guy. There's a guy adam something. He does a wordpress channel on youtube and was showing it in. It's got it's kind of like google analytics where it will show you how long somebody was on your page. But it's free and it's just one of those where i was like And that was his whole thing. He's like hey if you're looking for analytics on on your website and you have no budget. You might want to check that out. And i thought well. Maybe that's what i'll do. I'll i'll still use because monster insights has a free version. You know which kind of gives you how many you like. What's your most popular page and blah blah blah Yeah i think that's it adam. Silver he i was gonna call him the uncle fester of.

"The twenty, four th you get to listen to this on the twenty fourth. But. This is a show I'm doing as you listen to this. I'm moving everything I own to my new old house, and so I actually went back and took me awhile to find it but I went back to figure out when the heck did this show start because it didn't start with my buddy Jim Collison. and. I actually went back and dug it out I. Actually attempted to do a live show in two thousand and eleven I think at that point was calling it school of podcasting live it was horrible it sounded like this. All right I'M GONNA. Talk over this directors. For the sake of nothing. And welcome to the school podcasting. Live playing here with mix mixer. The title of this episode is nothing to see here. Playing a bit and. which was a fade button on that that'd be cool. It's the noise but. Wanted to have a gas heater on the ranch chat window here. So if anybody's listening live, I guess not no nobody's listening sort of Colin Button is nothing like that. But thought I would share something here. There is if you go to branded. Internet radio. Dot Com. visit doesn't exist anymore. People can put a radio station on your website, and what I'm trying to find out is one of the ways you can do this with a website. Is. If you go to if you start. NOTEPAD. Windows. NOTEPAD. You can actually create a file that will stream an MP three fall. So what you do is you open up notepad yeah. Yeah. We're talking about making 'em what was it m three you files to stream something like that. So that was in two thousand and eleven and I think it was just me playing with mixer guess and maybe speaker then I decided to bring it back. Two years later in April, and again I think just calling it. Day School the podcasting live or. It was weird I don't know what I was calling. It didn't know what it was doing and It sounded something like this on Spreaker Dot Com Nice Oh there we go. Today on the. PODCASTS coach show here on spreaker dot com. We're GONNA talk to battle shootout here between block talk radio and spreaker. I'm going to explain to you what I've learned over the past month hit ladies. Oh spreaker you're killing me spreaker. Casting. Jackson. All right. It's me podcast coach. Where I sit here and ramble into a microphone until Speaker Kicks Off. We talk about all things podcasting. Got, my chat window going nobody's in the chat window you can find this. At School of podcasting dot com forward slash live. and. Little me will be there. Waiting for you to. Join me. And I do appreciate you if your listeners later. All ten of you. And I want to see here, it says I'm live I'm checking my. Screen here. There we go. All right. Cool. We're live aren't riveting riveting. tweeting action here. And so what? I want to talk about is. The fact. Nights. Typing that. A lot of people are getting into the streaming websites be at spreaker. Be It and if you're interested in speaker by the way, go over and go to school a podcasting dot com forward slash spreaker that is s. p. r. e. k. e. r. that's who I'm playing with this month. And I do like their console. The fact that you can. I'm sorry I'm playing with things. This is why I don't do life podcasting. Yes. Sandy I still sound like this and he's chatting. He's typing. I'm way to add for this. Yes. Think. Maybe let me type this and then we'll get back to you. Shall We? All right. Right. Organization. Maybe we'll do that in this. In this that we'll just do them mall and share now Bingo. All right. This is the PODCAST radio show. It'd be giving myself the Buzzer. Spreaker, can we get a fade please? On the Button Mary. Yet don't turn up the phone. So we're going to talk about the fact that people think they're going to get all these numbers because there's so many people on our website. If, you go to speaker. There's so many people on the website and guess what they're also tons and tons and tons and tons of podcast on the website. Is True. and. So consequently if you have. Five thousand people. On the website. And then you go in later and you've got five thousand podcasts. Guess what? Yeah you're not going to get that much. It's it's not a lot of trickle down. Yes even back in two thousand thirteen. I was being people's Cheerios, and so I did apparently I did this show for four months. Because on August tenth two, thousand, thirteen, some guy named Jim Collison contacted me I think he'd heard me somewhere on the one problem I guess is let's see. August tenth maybe August third. He might have heard that one or something like that. But he said, hey, like looking for a co host, you want to try this and So I'm just going to let this whole thing play. This is the first episode. Of asked the podcast coach with myself and Jim Colson from the average Guy Dot TV before play that. I do want to thank my truly truly awesome supporters you guys have no idea especially now that I'm moving. "I would throw an idea out here to see the reaction I get and then in about two weeks, you would hear that same topic at the school podcasting. Now that I've gone and polished it and done a little more research a lot of times I use this as kind of testing ground like what do you guys think about this? Mike Okay not not going to be talking about that. So and then the last one is, of course, I, get to hang out with Jim Collison. Every Saturday so And I think download thing is a pretty interesting topic. So we probably look at it more than you do because of all the advertisers. But I would say, maybe once or twice and out of twenty-five advertisers they asked, right? What does that are maybe once or twice and you know it always concerns me when people are casing. CPM. Right. Because that's not telling any story at all the story is really about the value that you're bringing right so. Without divulging numbers I mean, what's what's the average CPM now about twenty five bucks debut now it's. Anywhere from twenty to forty. So I usually say thirty. Just as. A sort of idea if we played the game, we're we're getting ten times that amount right because of the value that we're bringing with engagement and the targeting. As Dave said everybody listens to the show is interested in this product, right? So in being one out of a thousand, we could have a one hundred times the audience. If it was a general audience, they're getting less value out of that but you said yourself okay. Let's talk about a general. You also do the snack authority. PODCAST in that's not a niche it could be. We thought it was then we learned. I haven't given up on it yet, but the idea was that we created the authority and I said Oh my God I, make it so much money on this. What else could we do and I'm the most boring man in the world I work every day and I'm trying to figure out what the hell to do, and obviously those that are watching can see I have a weight problem I the eat and it's not it's not from Mark Carrots and celery. Front snacks. So in Ed said, you want to try to put this together we went to A..

"Dwayne is a really good to hear that. That's coming that's it's allowed to happen inside of Microsoft the bigger the company sometimes the harder that is to do just because oftentimes managers aren't enabled to be able to make those kinds of decisions or let people do those kinds of things well in the other thing. That's really been in kind of interesting as well as I live in Nashville so allowing it to come outside of the ring of Redmond and Bellevue it is is a newer concept but And then the fact that I work in a group that I think you're going to start seeing more products like this god-like solutions product group. Because is my job's not necessarily to build the framework or to build Lewis is to take all those Lego blocks and bring them together into a accelerator to help our our customers get value out of that like we don't they don't sell what I build. But they do is they take that and give it to people so that they will use is the underlying tech. And that's where you get. The money comes from so it's really Kinda cool because I'm a product that works directly with customers and what how to fill the gaps and make it easier for customers to take stuff and move it forward so that jump to your question. Is it easy to do. My goal is the right now. It's still too hard. In my opinion I wanted where you push a button and he just does it right. I want you can just make skill and hit push a button and added tear stuff breath. It's we're not there yet but it's a whole lot better than right and C. Sharp code from scratch and having to work with framework and figuring out which version version of BOT framework goes with which version of QNA maker and and Louis and which ones work together in which we just take all that for them which school. And so I I that didn't exist in their seeing a lot of value in taking that approach the great example of that for Microsoft OPTUS or video editing tool and I forget I think it's called changes. The name changes it all the time because there is constantly iterating on that things got tower in the first part of it but it might have a built in there somewhere. I but basically you take your video like we would create a video here and I drop it in there and it would transcribe it. It would find find key points in it. It would take if there was if we were doing like our names would be hard in anything on the screen. If you're doing a presentation would be automatically uh-huh CR completely searchable transcript completely searchable. I could actually cut out parts of the video based on the words the audio that was made so I could go into the transcript and say I want the video for this part send it in boom. It cuts it for me. It's called video index. Her there is is the name of the cognitive service but that's also built into into stream. which is where through using teams now a new record it goes into a stream and you can see transcription live inside of of it and you can search for that and make it searchable as well? which is dwayne? You may not know but it okay. So we're worry You know we're office. Three sixty five customer a Gallup. We have stream and share point. All those pieces right does that version of stream that we have on the cloud is that is that enabled with the same functionality. That I'm seeing in the service in this video service because you can. I can go to that page and do it separately. I can log in with then account there and do it separately. But you're saying it's kind of embedded into stream. Can I do that on my own. Instance in the cloud through Gallup and that may be too specific of a question. But it's a question I had had because I'm like. Hey maybe we already own it. I don't maybe I can just drop it in these videos into stream and make it work behind the scenes I think you can. I mean I haven't event I I'm not gonNA play with it for Microsoft Rep. What he was doing this? He promised me it's recorded right here. Look I put it in video index. Sir I can think well and ironically medically we have We have a team. We have a college team building this on. Aws So one of the big differences between what I see in the Microsoft services in. What we're we're getting from Amazon? Is that Amazon or Microsoft. Likes to put those things together for you doing to your point really Kinda. Just let's get the complexity out of the way and and you just put the file there. We're going to do everything for you right now AWS The opposite which is like. Hey here is a million lego parts you can assemble your own thing doing this and build it exactly the way you want to. Neither one of them is wrong or right there just a way of doing doing it. And for me and non code on developer. I would much prefer to live on the side of just give me an integrated service and let me consume that service on. I'll pay for it if that's what I need. You Do I'm GonNa pay for it on the side as well. It's just in the Amazon side. I can create infinite amount of custom ability which I think options equal confusion. So so you'd have sat always good to have every single option available to you but in some cases it is and so For me I'm I'm working on this project from both sides as well as using services like script or I'm actually paying for Otter Dot ai which is a transcription service that we use for the show notes for this this show now so there are other dot ai automatically transcribing all the words we say here and is using some. You know I give it some machine learning hints to say Hey. I'm Jim Collison Not Jim Carlson. Which always wants me when I say I'm Jim? Carlson broadcasting live from the studios. It says Carlson and I can train it that no. It's collison every I'm like get it right. So we live in a super bowl space. They're joining this. All kind of fits together from the way started on this to to say you know we live in this Great Space Oregon dropped its audio video. Induced Houston pretty amazing. Things with it and I'm I'm kinda interested. I may have to give this every time you come on you. Give me like a bunch of homework to do. Now get added Jim. You gotta try this thing now. You gotta remember back in the days when you were working on the address stuff in we were all you gotta try this and you gotta try that. You gotta try this so I was a it is funny. Do you remember when I was working on projects Sienna. That was that thing where you could build an APP like writing excel logic and then because I kind of spent some time with Dave McCabe and Dave McCabe Kinda broke. That story unintentionally Well intentionally but they didn't realize it would be as big as it was That's actually power apps now though if you don't that's something in in that whole concept is is now if you go look at this jump you know little pizza and you look at power. Virtual agents our virtual agents is bought framework done on inside the power platform which is basically works. Exactly on the stuff. I'm doing so it's just an easy way to do it anyway. It's it's all coming down in in the effort level to be able to do stuff like this before too much longer. It's going to be like a website where anyone can write a website these days or it could make a website. It's really not hard hard. It's because it's all packaged up now. Where if you WANNA get crazy you can go get crazy but if you just WANNA site post blogs you you don't have to be technical to get it's been awhile since being we'll do that super cool? I don't think we intended to go that long. Sorry no no actually very very cool. I've been I've been monkeying around with thinking about. Hey 'cause I was I was. I was approaching good approach about using that that video service but then when we went to the cloud for all of our office stuff I saw stream and we've already have people creating channels and loading videos there in my only question was is that version of stream the same exact services that exists inside the full version of the video editor of the video. What do we call it? Video the video index or index. Or there we go. Is that the same I'll have. I'll do some testing Kind of yeah let me know I. That's I I know that the attack it's built on is this. Yeah so I'm not sure what the admin exposure is to it because I played as much with it well though in the white label digital assistant you know. We worked with Lady A in the past on coaching. So to speak where you would say you would speak to your digital device and and get you know almost almost like professional development training from it as it's looking at your schedule or you could ask a question. Your strengths would give you some information about. Hey you got some things scheduled today. Make sure you're using these talents that you have in the meetings today. Today's meeting heavy day. Make sure your patient right awesome. That's that's pretty late. Don't have your cup of coffee. 'CAUSE it'll be too jittery. You know yes some of those kinds of like some of those kinds of suggestions it. We always he's always stumbled a little bit when we actually got to the implementation on lady but you know maybe white label has some capabilities to against some additional personal customization where you're not necessarily stuck or beholden to the ecosystem. Can I use Can I use the the not. The white label assistant cannot be like can be running on a windows device. Can it be bike or do I have to have smart speaker. How does that work? It can be wherever you want. It's Sir all the different channel adapters for it. You can even build your white label assistant and make it a skill for a commodity assistant right and then I and so when you start looking at it from that context it's like why would you write on their specific skill platform when you can write on a platform that sort like you think like Zamaran right you right at once and it goes everywhere Basically the same sort of concept. But we don't actually find ourselves selves competing with Alexa. I'm sorry Ray lady a we actually find ourselves competing with them very often. It's more We do this and they do that. And we you know if you want to build a device with your own you know custom experience then. That's where we come in. And and what you might find that that experience and that that thing you're talking to is the skill in lady but when it's embedded into a specific device like if you think about it illustrates BMW when and you're in the BMW and you say hey bmw you expect to be talking to BMW. The thing is is that if you say her lady asked BMW. Why would you not talking to the same thing why you need two different things here? It's all the same stuff doc. So think about it in the context. I I've been trying to explain to people lately if I'm in a conference room and I have five different experts birds in that room. Why would I continually ask the same person to ask the person who's in the room with me right? Hey you really should think of of it and such has been talking about the multiple agents and I think people think he means a bunch of commodity assistance. I don't think that's the case you the two commodity assistance. It's a pretty much there right. We all know that what you're now getting into is natural language understanding and things like that think of a skill that normally would be commodity assistant. But you also want that to be. It's on unique experience when air indebted in a device. So you know if you're talking about a music player with like Apple Music you might want to talk to just a music player. It's never going to do anything but be music player there. What's the weather something like that? Then you shouldn't have to make sure you could say Alexa. What's the weather and it will tell? Oh you but you should have said lady. I'm telling you doing..

"Dot com. Sarah you, and I we did a little pampered. Chef party was more me than you. And actually, it was more you than me. We combine that together with a little hellofresh. Like we have been. Okay, these seriously are we are we doing a lotta hellofresh. Can you back me up here? Yeah. Are you liking it? Well, I think the only thing. I think we need to plan better. When we know we have hectic weeks like we had talked about the week of my surgery in the days following I was like, maybe we'd better pause it because you'll have to cook everything by yourself. And you're like, no, I'm gonna cook. And I in my head. I was like he's not going to cook. And you didn't cook. It was too busy work was really, you know, we made it work. Even when the kids sit in the fridge too long. Usually the only things I have to replace a couple of really inexpensive produce items because the meets in the freezer and most of the stuff keeps. And so, you know, we put a pause on this last week because we were we were just getting too busy to cook. But we got one coming this Saturday. But I I like it because it forces us to get in the kitchen together, and we like cooking together. And it takes the burden of the meal off of you know, it. Just being one person. They're easy. They're not. You're not over cooking. We don't have a ton of leftovers that we have to worry about eating up because out some problem when the kids all I moved out. I was so used to cook him for an army. We're not well these leftovers and they weren't getting eaten. I'm like learn to coke smaller. It it fix that fix that they're healthier. They've broadened my taste horizons. I've tried some things I didn't think I'd like and it surprised me pleasantly. Learn more about cooking a little more because it's taught me some new angles on cooking. 'cause you get in a rut after twenty some years just cook him for the kids and carb heavy and protein, heavy meals. It's like, you know, you just do the same things because they work in everybody will eat it. And you get in a rut. So some pretty great tacos last night. I made them eat in you made the salsa and we've had some some creme Kreme Chroma Chroma, grandma. Yeah. And it was pretty great. And it took us three times longer to make it than it did eat it. Chopping hands a little slow. He's. And it was super good. We're partner with pamper. Chef right now, we use a lot of a lot of pampered chef stuff in all even link in the show notes that's open till Sunday. Most of you by the time, you listen to this. It's probably here and gone. But if you're listening live, and you haven't taken advantage of it. I think it's pampered chef dot com slash parties slash Jim collison. I think that's all that get you there. You can check it out. We're closing the party Sunday. We want to be doing this forever. But thank you to a couple of you who are listeners who purchased repre- sheet that I'm by Sarah, some pizzas stones for for her birthday. And then of course, will help us do that. But man pampered chef is a by geeky cooking geeky super grade. I did too onions last night in the matter of about three minutes, and I was still crying little bit. But man chopping those a whole lot easier with the chopper, so and it's fun. You can just take your aggressions are I don't I've I've learned not to say your name anymore. When crushing? Just grunted. For even have a deep dish Andrew sane in the chat room. They he loves her pizza stone. Save a deep dish pizza stone. Cool scout sign on think. Everything. What are we going to get? Are we going to get you a second large pizza stone? Right. And then what what else are you going? Maybe the cookie sheet because there's a lot of applications with that. So and I've got my on a handful of gadgets. They always have great gadgets. They're just really do the herb grinder. I feel that'll save us a lot of time. I think so I think that's the next thing. Yeah. Because we do a lot of herbs tedious. But I love fresh herbs. So and I get started. I love it with herbs fresh too. So we have a lot of fresh. I have a lot of hellofresh coupons. If you want to jump in on that makes it cheaper for you. I get a little bit. I think even got a few or you get a whole bunch of stuff for free. Let me know Jim at the average guy dot TV for to jump in. And we appreciate the hellofresh commercial. I do save until the end like I do not. I could do this up front you guys frigging stop listening. But. But I I do appreciate you guys. Stay into the end. We are live every Thursday, eight pm central nine eastern out here at the guy dot TV slash. I've. Oh, let me ask you one more question, sir. Do is sound weird. Like for Fred decade. You've been hearing me talk down here without hearing the other side of it is that weird. No. If I it was but now. Okay. All right. I just I always think that would be weird. I'm down here. I kind of lose myself in podcasting. You know, and I kind of remember, and I'm hearing people, and we're doing stuff ha, and I'm laughing loud and all that other stuff. And then I think oh my God series only hearing half of the conversation. This has got to be the stupidest thing now, I mean 'cause let's be referred there. For a few years. I was able to jump in. And listen to this show. I would sometimes getting chat and listen to the show and. And. Yeah. So I kind of understood that the concept of what was going on the one thing I do notice the you may not realize is you definitely have your radio demeanor or a. Your posture and your tone, and the way you talk all changes a little bit. It's just it's just humorous to me. Yeah. No. I get behind the mic, and it's different. Right. It's a it's a different cadence. It's a different. Yeah. I use different tones. It's it's it's just a different place. Yeah. That must be weird for. No. It's not where I think the only thing I've had to learn as.

"I think like well, okay. For the cheap guy like me at times. Doesn't so bad. Like if you don't want to drop one hundred and forty right here pods. This could be a good alternative. And they look just like it. Everybody's like, oh, hey, you got new air pods. And I'm like actually there rip offs. You know, they are definitely ripoffs. But Mike, I wouldn't you know? You know? I wouldn't they're not okay. This is not one hundred forty dollar pair of air pots. Right. If you know that going in if you've got your standing, and, you know, they're forty dollar ones. Then they I mean, if they get the job done, they get the job done. And I think for a lot of people if you're not you watching YouTube views, listen to music, obviously, the delays not even an issue. Yeah. Right now, you don't even you don't even know podcasts music. You don't even know. So I may turn that review around a little bit. And if you're thinking of some, you know, if you want to go that route you need them for that. And you know, you're you're willing to take a little less quality. Maybe not a bad option. I'm not telling you run out to the Shopco site and by him, although they are they are cheap right now. Carr's shop goes God a business. There will be no returns. I'm just warning you if you do that there will be no returns on those. But but definitely worth the forty bucks. So super cool. Mike, are you? Okay. You are super still I thought for sure you locked out now. No. It's like overtime the Creighton game. I'm so I'm sorry. I like in down. Oh, no. It's. Infra craziness getting caught on that game that a new twist on hellofresh. But you have anything else to add before we wrap this up and everybody just turns it off 'cause I'm talking about hellofresh. But don't because as you're another. All right. Do you know fast forward, you know, done? Don't get interesting. Chris anything else to add? No, I want to hear about here. What's what's his twist? All right. So we were of course, as we've been cooking a lot more with hellofresh. Sarah's a big pampered chef user, and if you know pampered chef it's really good stuff. Like, there's there's nothing like cutting an onion or garlic or whatever chopping it up with their chopper the little hand shop, or, you know, put it down charge it that thing about twenty times done like super cool. We have all they're measuring gadgets have tons of gadgets from pampered chef, and then it realized how helpful they were until I was the one starting to do the chopping, right? And then you're like, oh, man. Now, I can see why people buy these fancy knives and this chopper and all these other things pizza stones. We had. A big pan that we'd had for fifteen years, and we just we just worn out in. I was going to buy a new one for. And so I went to are pampered chef gal at work, and I'm like, hey, can I buy new and she's like what's wrong with the old one? I said, well, you know, it's kind of worn out. She's like, no those are guaranteed for life. She's like, I'll get you an army. So that afternoon I had a Email like here's your number send the thing in now. These are two hundred dollar pans, right? Yeah. Box it up send it in. I thought there's no way they're gonna take this thing week later brand new Penn I was like holy cow. Like, okay. Like this is legit. Great customer service back up everything they do. So it's like, okay. I mean, I'm gonna give that rep some something for that. Like, so I go to her and I'm like, hey, I need to buy a pizza stone. And she's like actually running deals on pizza stones right now. And if you do a party, I'm like, I don't want people to come over shooting. You know, just do it online. We'll just set you up a store you will just run it for two weeks. Anybody that buys stuff through it gets? You know, you'll get credit for that. And and I was like, okay. That sounds interesting. So I'm going to do this for her. This is kind of what I'm doing it for. For her because she's she's a friend of mine, but if guys or gals if you're big pampered chef fans, and you should be actually there's a lot of cooking gadgetry in nursery that existence I pamper chef like, I did not realize Mike like just the nursery that goes on around cooking. From the quality. You know, Jim, we kinda recently got into cast-iron. I think I think I'm gonna talk about this. My sister got us a cast iron pot for Christmas. And since then we have bought the cast iron Skillet things that last a long time and with warranties like that like that lifetime warranty. I mean that is worth the money. I think we live in a world now with the cheap Amazon buy it use it for a year goes bad, you know, buying another one later who cares about it. But man, some of that stuff. Jim just like you said you had that panel ready for fifteen years, then you get a brand new one. You didn't pay a dime. More like that two hundred dollars back. Then you haven't spent any more money on any pan since then you just got another one that's going to last another fifteen years, right? So. It's pretty cool since I've been doing these hellofresh commercials here at the end, I've been hearing from people the Email, and they're like, yeah. I I do a lot of cooking. I do a lot of the cooking to or like, hey, is this really save you that much time or those kinds of things in so gentlemen, and ladies that are out there. I know you're doing this show for a friend of mine or we're going to do a little a little pampered chef party completely virtual you don't need to go anywhere. You don't need to cook. Anything whatever we have set up a site for you. If you just go to pampered chef dot com slash party slash Jim collison, super easy to remember get no pressure here. It's only going to be open for a week or two. So if you're listening to the live version of you got a while. But if you're listening to the recorded version of it, it's not gonna be around forever. We're going to kind of run this thing out pretty quick. Just get it done. I don't wanna be pimping this thing forever. I realize I'm a by a pizza stone out of the deal. So which we just love their pizza stones, Mike. They have this deep dish pizza stone to like if you're into deep dish pizza. It's the stone on the bottom, and then the sides or you can. Oh, really tude.
