"Bling is right next to it. That's also a trademark of this. We have many trades. People are loving the new office of the 45th best in that. You're welcome. The makeup is super bastard far worse than the Democrats everywhere. The only question is why? Oh, he's going on Nancy Kerrigan. That's fun. He then linked to the notorious conspiracy theory website, the gateway pundit. This is Nazi QAnon. Crazy. Holy crap. Oh, yes. Since we're on that real quick, 12, I just have to. Did I begin and end with? He has left us with a nation of crazies like these two maggots at a rally. You think Biden is not alive right now? No, the guy that's doing the stand up job of trying to wake people up is an actor wearing a mask. I mean, there's several different people playing Joe Biden at this point. What? And when he fell up the stairs going on the airplane. I myself think that that was Jim Carrey. Because he heard that he was one of them. Oh my God. Wait, wait, wait, wait. You think that Jim Carrey was wearing a mask and was the acting president and being silly by falling up the stairs three different times. And James Woods also, I think, just one of the doppelgangers, mask wearing people. Sure. Why James Woods? You just seem right winger crazies. Yes, but he is an actor that they could hire. To make Biden look bad. Like the shooter's dad is gay for pay. You know. Okay. I don't understand. Yeah. She heard that. So it must be true. She won that leftover. Thanksgiving grizzle while I take a break. 20 minutes. 20 minutes after the hour. This portion of the show brought to you by masterclass. Yay. I don't okay. Maybe karaoke teaches an acting class, maybe. And how to beat Joe Biden? Yes, I don't know. But listen

"I learn by not necessarily reading it in the book. I learn by falling on my face. I learn by screwing up. I learn by getting frustrated with myself because I'm making excuses about the things that I want to do. And none of this behavior actually goes away. I just find that as you level up, those kind of old coping mechanisms and things that you do to keep yourself where you are, they just level up with you. It's really interesting, the idea that I think this is an idea that you and I see slightly differently. I don't know that it matters though. It's like as long as you have the frame of reference that allows you to get to the other side. It's interesting, but for me, it's I, again, just like yours is based on your experience minds based on mine, I have found that the lessons do not come automatically, that if I don't pay attention and find the lesson and remind myself because the way that I remind myself is, no matter how badly I fail, that I can learn from this and that if I learn enough that knowledge will stack and I'll be able to succeed in a way. So my thing is on the long enough timeline I can be anyone at anything. Now, I don't believe that literally, but it's so close to true that I'm like, it will keep moving me forward. But I always have the fear that the things that are happening could very easily make things worse. And it's really interesting that as I get older, I think about this a lot. Part of my anxiety has always been around, it has, I've grown more anxious as I've become more self aware. And the reason that I become more anxious is I become more self aware, as I realize that there are real stakes. And I made a series of decisions, for instance, that grew my business and allowed me to sell it for a $1 billion. Had I made the wrong decisions that wouldn't have happened. And I've been in legal battles. And if you make the wrong decision, it goes one way, if you make the right decision, it goes another. And so there are moments in life that really are ultra high stakes. And you have to pay attention and you have to get it right in a certain level of anxiety is useful. But then there becomes a point where it's too much anxiety and now that becomes detrimental and that becomes a very reason that you're making mistakes. So it's like this really fascinating nuanced thing of recognizing the lesson will not take care of itself. I must get in there, get in the messy middle, figure it out, and I soothe myself by knowing that the Jim Carrey quote that I'm paraphrasing, but he said these people came to me one night at the whatever the comedy store. And they said, hey, Jim, there's a big casting agent. They're in the audience. This is your one chance, do not blow it. And he went out and he blew it. And he came back and everyone was like, oh my God, like this was your one shot. And he was like, let me tell you this right now. Until you've blown your one shot 5 times, he's like, you haven't even started yet. And so I was like, wow, that's really powerful to remember that it's going to seem like you've only got this one shot, but really, you've got a lot. But it's really, they're real content. But here's the thing. There are real consequences, but see, I think you're always playing a high stakes game. You can't help yourself. It's in your DNA. And you're not somebody that's going to make a stupid decision. I know I am. No, you're not. I'm going to make a stupid decision. But I've made so many stupid decisions, but were they? Yeah, yeah, yeah. A 100%. So I'll give you an example. Okay. So NFTs. Yes. A road map was a mistake and a road map led me to a 120 hours a week for 8 months. Okay. To the point where people are like, there's no way you were working a 120 hours. Oh, I can tell you, I can run the math. So it was a 120. It was so dumb. I was losing sleep. It was fucking nightmarish. And as I got into it, I realized what the mistake was, but I didn't know enough to avoid the mistake. Now, I'm very glad that I took action and I did it, and I built it, and it's all going to be fine in the end. Right. But it put me through 8 months of not fun. It was brutal and unenjoyable and taxing on my marriage. So I would not repeat it. And if I wasn't able to say, that was a fucking mistake, don't do it again. I'm likely to repeat the mistake. Okay, so so here's the way I would frame that. That it had to be that painful because you were a stubborn motherfucker, and you would have not gotten the lesson, but for it being that painful. And I only say that because hello, like I often wonder, why is this happening to me? Here's the things I can talk about during the pandemic between like the talk show and the speaking business coming to a freeze. And being responsible for payroll, being the victim of why you're fraud. Having a bunch of stuff go down with people that betrayed me and stole from me and lied to me and on and on and on. I'm like, I can't take one more fucking thing. But there was a singular lesson. A singular lesson that I was too stubborn, too busy to whatever that I could then see backwards. Oh shit, life's been trying to teach me this for a while. And what it was trying to teach me is number one, you have to stop being everybody's friends and you've got to start being, you've got to start thinking like a fucking CEO. You are not people's mother. You are a CEO. You are. Three people's money. Three. But I was bringing that into business. Two, because I'm not chasing celebrity or not, I don't view myself as this person with this massive list of accomplishments. I just view myself as somebody who's sharing the stuff that I'm learning because I want to help you avoid the painful heartbreak mistakes that I made because I didn't know any better. That to me is what drives me. If I can help you accelerate your success or shrink the amount of pain that you feel, I have won the game of life for me personally and I feel deeply fulfilled. But I was not

"So folks, again, this isn't a joke anymore. You know what? One of the value added components I think I bring to the show I hope I bring to the show for you. Is I live the life inside that bubble. Matter of fact, it was the name of my first book, life inside the bubble. The bubble is that. Figurative kind of space that exists around the president. The president, it's interesting. When you're around it every single day for 5 years, it's like the Truman show. You know, it's like everybody's acting around you, even though they're real people, but they're all playing a part. No one's authentic around the president ever. Nobody. The only one that's authentic around the president is the First Lady. That's it. You can see that. And maybe their kids. Everyone else is playing a role. You're a Dan bongino, but you play the Secret Service role. You're a Stanford. You play the kiss ass roll. That's the way it works. You're an intelligence official who has no backbone. You play the political role and you say whatever the president wants. White supremacy is the biggest threat to the world, no matter what. Yes, and it's maga people doing it. It is. It's like the Truman show. The problem with the Truman show is nobody was ever willing to tell the Jim Carrey character the truth if you'd never seen the movie. Well, that's what's happening around the president right now. And I'm telling you the power that that office holds. Is really unimaginable. In the actual sense of the word, you have to see it to believe how much power they one decision can change millions of people's lives through a simple executive order. The fact that the man in charge right now existing in this bubble. Has no idea who's alive or dead, it walks around clueless on stage in front of people. And that world leaders are seeing this. If that doesn't have you concerned as a Democrat, we've been concerned about it. I don't know what will. I mean, I get it. Most of you are not going to vote Republican, liberals, that's fine, but you can't continue to support this. You can't be

"With a new ally sonic and his new friend tales are all that stand in their way The film critic Christian toto tells WTO's Dmitri sodas he had a good time at the sonic sequel The first Sonic the Hedgehog caught me in a lot of other folks by surprise You know video game movies don't have a great track record but it was enjoyable It was engaging It was sort of something I think any age group could get something out of But mostly because Jim Carrey was just so darn good as the villainous doctor ivo robotnik and he's back in this film and he really does hold things together because the new film while not as good as the first one is longer it's a bit sillier but still there's always carry there to kind of hold things in place and to make you laugh when you didn't think you could laugh at a certain crack or punchline This time around there's an evil character is back He's wants to make sonic pay for punishing him the last time around And there's a chase for a magical emerald There are new characters including one amusingly voiced by Idris Elba so there's enough here maybe too much here but again it's enjoyable I will say that there are a lot of grown jokes here things you'll roll your eyes at but every time you get a little frustrated there's another joke that really hits the spot And the production values are just absolutely top notch This looks like a marvel movie It looks that kind of richness and depth to the computer effects So for all those reasons you know this is not Shakespeare but it's kind of fun Well you mentioned Jim Carrey is the glue that holds this particular film together A simple Google search will take us back through this man's long career A lot of jokey stuff but also some dramatic stuff He was the Grinch I'm just kind of pulling out of my memory Some of his greatest hits Jim Carrey is intimating pretty strongly He's going to retire here He's done enough acting What can we say about this actor and his contribution to cinema as highfalutin as that statement sounded No he is one of a kind he's one of our top court gestures And I think he proves it in these two sonic movies but he's also has range has depth can do dramatic work like a few others So it would certainly be a loss I also think he's the kind of personality and artist who wears a lot in his sleeve And I think maybe what he's going through right now is a little burnout Maybe he thinks he's done everything And I can't disagree with him He's pretty much done at all But he's a roughly 60 So I think there's a lot of life and creativity left in him and I hope that he doesn't take this pledge too seriously but you never know We just saw Daniel Day-Lewis say he's going to hang it up as well And we haven't seen him in a few years So it's always possible but I think that Jim Carrey's mark on Hollywood and movies has been very distinctive very engaging And very different You know every time you thought you had him pigeonholed he kind of do something else to kind of shake you up your expectations but a lot of iconic roles that he's leaving behind if he were to quit right now Christian toto of Hollywood in toto dot com on Skype he says Sonic the Hedgehog two is fun for the.

Right away, <Speech_Female> I just felt <Speech_Female> like she was a good bite. <Speech_Female> And I've said this <Speech_Female> before, but if I had a <Speech_Music_Female> little girl, she'd <SpeakerChange> be <Speech_Music_Male> exactly the kind of girl I'd want. <Speech_Music_Male> <Speech_Music_Male> Where you <Speech_Music_Female> going? Huh? <Speech_Female> You just <Speech_Female> pretty taxing movies, <Speech_Female> so even the stuff <Speech_Female> where you're just sitting <Speech_Female> there is very, <Speech_Female> very tense. You know, there's a lot <Speech_Female> of <Speech_Female> anxiety, <Speech_Female> a lot of stress and <Speech_Female> strain, <Speech_Female> very proud of this film. <Speech_Female> <SpeakerChange> <Speech_Male> Okay, I'm <Speech_Male> watching that. Love Christmas Stewart. <Speech_Male> No time to talk. <Speech_Male> Let's get into Jared Leto. <Speech_Music_Male> <Speech_Music_Male> <Advertisement> <Speech_Male> <Advertisement> I just <Speech_Music_Male> did <Speech_Music_Male> pizza pasta, <Speech_Male> Mac and cheese, <Speech_Music_Male> flamin hot <Speech_Music_Male> Cheetos, and <Speech_Music_Male> sour <Speech_Music_Male> <Advertisement> patch kids, mostly. <Speech_Music_Male> <Advertisement> You know, <Speech_Music_Male> <Advertisement> I mean, look, with that diet, <Speech_Music_Male> <Advertisement> you might turn into <Speech_Music_Male> <Advertisement> a monster too. I <Speech_Music_Male> don't know. It's like, that <Speech_Music_Male> <Advertisement> would make it a little grumpy <Speech_Male> <Advertisement> at the end of the day, <Speech_Male> <Advertisement> eating all that stuff <Speech_Male> <Advertisement> together. But <Speech_Male> <Advertisement> there was a big physical <Speech_Male> <Advertisement> transformation <Speech_Male> <Advertisement> here. I'm no <Speech_Music_Male> <Advertisement> stranger to that. <Speech_Music_Male> <Advertisement> I've done that I've <Speech_Music_Male> <Advertisement> kind of walked down <Speech_Male> <Advertisement> that path many times <Speech_Male> <Advertisement> before. I went <Speech_Music_Male> from dying to <Speech_Music_Male> be more love than ever. <Speech_Music_Male> It worked. <Speech_Music_Male> Not <Speech_Music_Male> exactly. <Speech_Music_Male> I have increased <Speech_Music_Male> <Advertisement> strength and speed. <Speech_Music_Male> <Advertisement> It's <Speech_Music_Male> a form of that <Speech_Male> radar. <Speech_Male> The very first time <Speech_Music_Male> this character is going <Speech_Music_Male> <Advertisement> to be on the big screen, <Speech_Music_Male> <Advertisement> I'm very excited <Speech_Music_Male> <Advertisement> about it. I love <Speech_Music_Male> <Advertisement> the fact that this is <Speech_Music_Male> <Advertisement> a character that kind of <Speech_Music_Male> <Advertisement> walks on the darker side of the Marvel <Speech_Music_Male> <Advertisement> Universe. It gets <Speech_Music_Male> <Advertisement> a little scary at <Speech_Music_Male> <Advertisement> times, but you <Speech_Music_Male> still have this big fun <Speech_Music_Male> action film. <Speech_Music_Male> <Speech_Music_Male> I do anything to <Speech_Music_Male> save a life. <Speech_Music_Male> <Speech_Music_Male> But I don't know what I'm capable <Speech_Music_Male> of. <Speech_Music_Male> And the <Speech_Music_Male> thing that was special <Speech_Music_Male> <Advertisement> about morbius <Speech_Music_Male> is that I <Speech_Male> <Advertisement> had an opportunity again <Speech_Music_Male> to dive into <Speech_Music_Male> a transformative <Speech_Music_Male> performance in <Speech_Music_Male> that you meet the character <Speech_Music_Male> when he's very sick <Speech_Music_Male> and frail and <Speech_Music_Male> is searching desperately <Speech_Music_Male> for a cure <Speech_Music_Male> to a very rare disease. <Speech_Music_Male> <Advertisement> And then be <Speech_Music_Male> <Advertisement> strong and <Speech_Music_Male> <Advertisement> yes, a little buff. <Speech_Music_Male> <Advertisement> And then ultimately, <Speech_Music_Male> <Advertisement> monstrous <Speech_Music_Male> <Advertisement> and powerful. <Speech_Music_Male> <Advertisement> And I really enjoyed <Speech_Music_Male> the fact that there were <Speech_Music_Male> three characters in <Speech_Music_Male> one there. Rob Pattinson <Speech_Music_Male> Brad Pitt <Speech_Music_Male> and Tom Cruise <Speech_Music_Male> are stars who played <Speech_Music_Male> vampires, <Speech_Music_Male> but who is <Speech_Music_Male> Jared's favorite? <Speech_Music_Male> I love David <Speech_Music_Male> Bowie, played a <Speech_Music_Male> vampire and a movie <Speech_Music_Male> called the hunger. <Speech_Music_Male> It's a gorgeous movie, <Speech_Music_Male> you know, not a <Speech_Music_Male> <Advertisement> lot of people have seen it, <Speech_Music_Male> <Advertisement> but that was fantastic. <Speech_Music_Male> <Advertisement> And <Speech_Music_Male> <Advertisement> I also love Gary <Speech_Music_Male> <Advertisement> Oldman and <Speech_Music_Male> Coppola's Dracula <Speech_Music_Male> that performance <Speech_Music_Male> I thought was just a <Speech_Music_Male> stunning. We like hooked up and we were making out and he goes, he pretended like he didn't know who I was, which I kind of love. Okay. And then he was like, yeah, 100, 'cause I always say 100 on the show. "Okay. I've got three little boys. I have another one coming, obviously, looks like I ate the Easter basket here. So what we're going to do is we're going to do asparagus rice. Just as is here, he just took the plate off of the table. Asked me the Halloween. Saved me a pancake. Not nice. Otherwise I would tackle it. All right. Okay, so these are baked. You can also do them in an air fryer. I don't know if you cook with an air fryer at all. They're fantastic. They make things like crispy. You need minimal oil. Now what you're going to do to get this egg mixture to stick, another secret ingredient, there's actually egg white with mayonnaise. And this is what helps this mixture stick to your asparagus. You can just put it on the ends here. And this is into a mix of breadcrumbs, which are Panko breadcrumbs, super light, super crispy. You can see your pancakes going there. We're getting these little bubbles here. And then these can go right into an oven or an air fryer, and we serve them with a roasted garlic aioli. These look so good. And totally eat this too. Absolutely. I can't tell the vegetable. Absolutely. They can be made ahead of time, kept warm in the oven. I'm all about make ahead. And you can do these with other veggies. Absolutely. Mushroom squash, anything else would be fantastic. Yeah, good. Well, would not be easier without some eggs. So what are these? Yes, okay, these are pickled deviled eggs. It looks so good. Really cool thing about these tayshia? No food coloring in this. What? Naturally died with beet juice. Justin's gonna be here. Beet juice. It makes this gorgeous color. And then the classic egg salad in the middle, you could do a yellow version using turmeric and get a nice yellow ring around there, but I love the pink color. Isn't that just so beautiful? I love this. Oh my gosh. Yes. No brunch is complete without a little cocktail..

"Making a simple pancake batter. Okay. Now I do have a secret ingredient that I mixed in here. It's actually sour cream. Sour cream in your pancakes. What does that do? Cake batter makes it super moist, super fluffy. It also ends a little bit of Tang. So you get tanginess to the batter. So go ahead and mix. Now the number one mistake people make tayshia when they're making pancake batter is they don't let lumps stay in there. So you actually want to be in there? What? Bacon. Bacon. I wasn't going to say this, but I actually fry my pancakes in the leftover bacon grease. I don't know. So much flavor. My mom definitely does that too. Yes. Okay. All right, so once you have your mix all together here, you can grab the little scoop and the most important part of this is you want the bacon to be fully cooked when you have it in the skillet here. Okay. And then what we're going to do is we're going to take a scoop of our batter and you're just going to surround the piece of bacon with the batter. You can go right on top and go around it. And you're going to let this cook completely. Now you know when to flip a pancake Melissa do you know when to flip it? When you see little bubbles that come up you pass the test. You have to tell. It's you, pancake. We want to wait until there are nice bubbles all across the top and the great thing about this is I've made a couple of ahead of times. You don't even need a fork for these. The bacon cooks into the pancake. You can then dip it into the warm maple syrup. You can freeze these so great for lunch boxes. They cover all the bases. You know what? It can go in your purse. What is this? Exactly. Justin asked me to save him a pancake. Justin, you got this one right here. All right, so we covered the sweet. We got a little bit of something sweet. Let's do savory. Okay. I've got three little boys. I have another one coming, obviously, looks like I ate the Easter basket here. So what we're going to do is we're going to do asparagus rice..

I was watching KO to KTLA. And I was like, come on, Sam. Pull it out. You just want it, but like it's not, it's giving me subtle moments and I'm loving the subtle moment. However, I've just got a subtle girl. I think it's Justin. Yes, it actually is. It is now streaming on Netflix, you guys can check it out. We also discovered something wild about bridges and stars, Simone Ashley. She told Jimmy Kimmel how she learned to tattoo herself. I thought it would be a good idea. To get my own tattoo pen. And I found this video and it was like, oh, you can use this deodorant stick. It has a chemical reaction on the transfer paper and all of this stuff. "Here because someone in your relationship has issued an ultimatum. You're not sure. You want to marry your current partner. The risk is that they're going to find someone else who is. I think it's statue to wonder what it would be like to be in a different relationship. You each choose a new partner you're moving together in a trial marriage. And at the end of this experience, you guys will have to choose. To marry the person you've arrived here with. Or to split forever. It is now time to make a decision. Are you ready to make your choice? Anything I say you never listen. I don't think that all they did is kiss. What the did you just say to me? Take these wires on. I gotta go. I mean, what? Absolutely not. Can you actually do ultimatums work? No. No, otherwise I'd be married to John Stamos. So no, they don't work. Has anyone ever given you an ultimatum? Bitch. LED speedy Gonzalez. Okay. I'm smart, because if I need to give somebody else to meet him, I'm gonna do it the old fashioned way. I'm gonna have my best friend do it. Oh. You need to marry him. What's up? And I've done that for multiple Friends of mine. What are you waiting for? It's been, you know, you were very helpful with my job stainless situation. I went in there and tried to get into it. I tried to. But what I find interesting, it's not only giving somebody an ultimatum. It's also like giving them another choice. Like, is it an ultimatum like, hey, me or the highway? However, if Janet Jackson lost her whole life for one nipple, right. That didn't punch that nipple didn't come out and punch Justin Timberlake. That nipple did not walk 25 stairs and poked him in the eye and hurt him in front of people. That nipple just came out, did his job and went back in. I know it was a terrible thing. But if Janet Jackson lost almost 20 years of her life over that thing and it doesn't happen I'm gonna be very upset. And I have to say this, I just have to say this because Chris Rock is an icon and a legend. I don't think we would be having these conversations. And this is where we are in the world. If it was Jimmy Fallon or Jimmy Kimmel up there. Really? Oh, I think if Chris Rock was not black, and I'm not a big raised person. But I think if we had, if he had disrespected someone that was not in his culture, I think it would have been a bigger deal than what it was. I think it would have been. I think it would have been a bigger deal if it wasn't those two men that were at the top of the game. I think if anything was different, whether it was a woman or a man in a woman who went up to everything would have been different. It would have been would have felt different. It was just so shocking. And their friends, too. They know each other. They work together. They work together. I just wish you would have yelled from the table. That's it. Or from the seat. We would not be talking about any of this and Chris Rock would be the one in question and be his sales for his show wouldn't be skyrocketing and all of these things. It would have been so much more powerful in such a statement by yelling, you know what? We do not make fun of diseases. This is my wife. Do not break her down like that. And from the seat. From his seat. And his point would have came across. It was slapping him, violence is never answer. It completely took it away. Oh, it's your reaction. It's always the reaction gets. And it was a loss. You lost that. And if Will Smith, if the point was to sort of make Chris Rock feel bad, whether he knew about the condition or not, the biggest thing is when you meet somebody's classlessness with dignity. It hurts worse. Had they waited later and reminded the world of her condition reminded that, you know what? I don't know if you knew this or not, but she has a condition. And it's not always cool to make fun of somebody's appearance. Then Chris Rock would have had, he would have felt worse and much worse. But let me let you know something all Chris Rock has a show tonight. It's a kick-off. Just comedy show in Boston tonight. And we have somebody going. So we're going to have that all. Yeah, y'all want to be the two. I want to hear. Nick and Vanessa Lachey have a new show that's a mix of white swap temptation island and love is blind. Yep, it's called it's going to be messy. It's called the ultimatum, Mary or move on. Here's a preview. I love you to death, but I just can not wait any longer. That is why I'm giving this ultimatum..

"Fallout continues and shocking Hollywood has turned on him. What? Here to talk about it again. Take your Adams, everybody. And Melissa, Peterman. Now, as I predicted yesterday, everyone is unloading their Will Smith's stock child. They are trying to short this market. Oscars host Amy Schumer said she's still triggered and traumatized and waiting for this sickening feeling to go away. Zoë Kravitz posted, here's a picture of my dress at the award show where we are apparently a salting people on stage now. And Jim Carrey came for his neck. Okay, he has some strong words for will on CBS mornings. Take a look at this. I was sickened. I was sickened by the standing ovation. I felt like Hollywood is just spineless. En masse. Announced this morning that I was suing well for $200 million because that video is going to be there forever. It's going to be ubiquitous. That insult is going to last a very long time. If we want to yell from the audience and disapprove or show a disapproval or say something on Twitter or whatever, you do not have the right to walk up on stage and smack somebody in the face because they said words. I will say, aside from Chris Rock, aside from Chris Rock. You know, you'll have to twist my words. Amy Schumer is the one I feel the worst for because this is like her wedding night. It's a big moment for me. It's a big moment for her. And if I'm a bride and you show up at my wedding, get drunk and fight somebody, that's all people are gonna talk about. They won't even talk about the lilac that I put on the table. Anyway, and not just Amy. And Regina. And Rwanda. I mean, talk about we had the first deaf actor to win for supporting role. Questlove, who I just adore and was I love that movie summer of Seoul. That was right after that moment. There were so many moments. From people. There was a lot of moments that were stolen. So yeah, yeah, they came to their wedding and started, yeah, a brawl. What do you think is future will be in Hollywood? I don't think he's gonna go ahead. You go ahead. Well, I mean, he will eventually recover from it, but I think it's gonna take a really long time. I don't know if it will. You know what? Hollywood is like 51st dates. It's like 51st scan. Okay. Like, we can't remember one scandal after the next. And something comes along and then people forget about the lab. They didn't remember in ten seconds later. They didn't remember it happened because they did get up and give them a standing ovation. Okay, well, this was everybody was really confused. And they were done by the people giving him a standing ovation. Yes. I'm not gonna lie. It took me three hours to process what had just happened. 100%. And if you've ever been in an awkward scenario, IE, I hate to bring this up. Billy Bush. In an awkward scenario. Don't know what to say, so you're like, uh yeah. Sometimes you're smiling and playing along until you realize what happened. You know, hours later. It's aftershock. Yeah. It's like when you get home and you're like, did that bitch just shave it? You know what I mean? And then you have a line to get back at her. But it hits you. Exactly what's happening, actually. Yes, you're replaying it over and over, but I should have done. What I could have done, but I wish I had done in that moment, but I do agree. It was, again, watched so much stuff last night, more stuff will continue to come out. But again, the truth is, somebody walked on a stage, they assaulted them. Yeah. And then nothing happened. He just got a still sit there, and then got a major ward in a standing ovation. And went to the after party. Hating church also spoke out saying wheels should have his academy membership stripped and be banned from the Oscars for life. Do you agree with him? No, I don't think that he has to take I don't think he should be taken away from him. That was for work that he had done before that night. And great work that he did that night, which is also why it's a double, it's a shame that that moment was also stolen from him in a way. And do I think he should there should be consequences, yes, but I don't think banned for life is that maybe next year he doesn't get to come present because that's normally the protocol that the person who won would come and present for the best after this year. Right. But there should be consequences, but I don't think taking away the Oscar and banning for life is the right one. I don't think taking away the Oscar. So if you are banned for life, does that mean? You can't vote. You'll never get another nomination. So then what's the point? And by the way, you're right. But by the way, he has another movie coming out next year called Emancipation that's supposed to be on Apple TV plus. And I heard that he was a shoe in for the nomination. Oh, no. I think voters are going to whether or not the academy decides this investigation, no matter what doesn't investigation brings up. Right. Sure, and investigation. No matter what this investigation brings up, I think that people aren't going to vote for him because of what happened. Of course, not. Well, you're going to see some of the repercussions. I'm just not the bitch and Salem. That's like, yeah, burning at the state. No. I don't believe in that. I think that, you know, I don't believe that again, cancel culture is very real, but I think sometimes and it should there's consequences. You don't have to cancel everybody. I believe that he will face consequences. And I think you're right. This wasn't coda, the first streaming service at one and Oscar, which was Apple, which probably put some, you know, they're going from their high moment to figure out how to market this next movie with them in it. There's a lot of layers that are going to be hard to navigate..

Jim Carey Is the Only One Making Sense About Will Smith

"Of all people, Jim Carrey. Who normally is an asshole extraordinaire. And so, esoteric, you can't understand a word. He says, Jim Carrey made a hell of a lot of sense the other morning. On CBS with Gayle king. Maybe his STD medication finally been prescribed right. But Jim Carrey had something to say about Will Smith's behavior at the Oscars. He's sitting there with Gail king and he said he was sickened by the standing ovation Will Smith got. This is big guys. This is a guy who's made a $1 billion for Hollywood, a white guy. Talking about the black guy who's made a $1 billion for Hollywood. And Jim Carrey had the balls to say, I'm sickened by the standing ovation. And then this is even better. Hollywood is just spineless and mass. And it really felt like this is a really clear indication that we aren't the cool club anymore. You know what? Jim Carrey is just made the most sense of anybody I've heard from that part of the business in many, many years. He's right. I've been preaching this for years. They ain't the cool club anymore. He also said that Will Smith should have been arrested. But then Gayle king points out, well, Chris Rock declined to file charges. And Jim Carrey said, he didn't want the hassle Gail with so true.

"This movie visualizes that with these simple tricks of like putting putting the diffusion behind jim carrey as he's walking around so the rest of the world looks fuzzy other than the one. Because that's how memory works like you've you've fixate on the important thing in the moment but you maybe don't. There's a deleted scene from this movie. Where clementine is correcting jim. Carey's memory of like. What was i wearing and he says. Oh you're wearing such and such dress and she goes no. I bought that once we were together. I couldn't have had that during this memory. Because we hadn't been together long enough for us to buy it and blah blah blah in. I just sorry. To derail your philosophic. We're not going to make an aesthetic point. Which is that. I think the way that michelle gandara does all these in camera tricks to so beautifully realized the intricacies and the like the way that he stepped assizes something as intangible as a memory i think is just like kind of i mean. It feels natural the way the world kind of buzz out around him or people's faces go blurry or there's even one scene that they they said in the special features that no one in the audience ever noticed when they were doing test. Screenings where like one of clementines legs is missing. When she's like walking down the street and the car falls out of the sky and they removed one of her legs when she's when she's walking down the sidewalk because they were like the important thing that he would remember at that moment is her momentum in the fact that she's just trying to get away and there's nothing there's there's something like animalistic and raw an urgent about it and to that end we were like. Oh what's a way to signal that they digitally removed one of her legs and nobody notices it. It's just weird little things like that. That really do kind of. I mean this this movie. Does you guys have both talked about how when you look back on it. There are moments in images. It's such an indelible film..

No problem it's okay. Since the last time you've been on we actually created a list of questions that we ask our guests at the end. Okay so some of them are a little off ball. If you don't like some of them or anything like that just tell us to shut up and move onto the next one okay. One of them has been gaining momentum on our show and people are really kind of engaging into it so when we first started our podcast we had a couple. Australians on and during the one of the episodes drunkenly ended up asking one of the one of the guests is australia. Real like where. You're at your are you. Is it really. What's going on where you're at in in trying to figure this out right. And we've started to build and there is kind of a conspiracy theory out there of his australia. Actually real place and if you if you wanna play with the flat earth theory. Australia is not real so my question to you is if you're playing with that in your mind or if you're trying to figure out if you never been to australia do you even think that this surreal place now. Let's go now and this. Is that anywhere that i get off of the airplane israel. Not i mean yeah. They could hidden. That's one of my arguments. Yeah so you get on a plane right from the us at least from the west coast kind of city. Like where we're at you get on a plane you're on it for eighteen hours like do you even know where you landed at that point now they could have just done a whole scenery change with different people. Get off and different says. It's just the same thing you're going passed down whether they're going down the street. Yeah same thing What's that. Jim carrey movie where he's in a movie the pack all the truman show. Yeah it's like that. Truman show good movie. That's what we're all the truman show. We're in our own so yeah. Let's go fake. Australia is not really says. Okay nineties all right. Does that mean you get to be prejudiced against them. I think they're not even a real place anytime like. Oh the poor. Koalas really what's funny kangaroos. And this is kind of a spoiler but our next week we have one recording and the guy is a comedian in australia. So i can't wait to ask this question. So Dr Drey I would say is probably my biggest client night took care of his dog. For a long time for many years, and Jim Carey and a couple of others. But those were probably the biggest, but you know, it's not just the celebrities who love to have a pet sitter. It's a regular people who need us. And I got a lot of attorneys and people who worked in the periphery of Hollywood like the agents, and those stylists another makeup artisan. They would say to me, you know, what Laura if you didn't do your job. I couldn't do mine because they work very long hours point. So did you ever get to meet him? Or Dr dre I met them both very briefly. I would see Dr trae all the time driving out of his house is yes. So he would always late. You've loved loved his dogs and his wife kids left their dogs too. You know? Were big loving family. And what about Jim Carey what kind of dog? Did he he was disgraced to his pets? He adopted a rescue dog that needed physical therapy, and he would rent pool time to have the physical therapists work with his dog in the poll. Oh, wow. Yeah. Amazing amazing. And you know, you made a good point they working long hours and pet sitters work long hours and dog walking. So is there any things that you've learned that have made you a better professional in this field. I think to communicate, you know, absolutely communicate with your clients and just make sure that you're letting them know what's going on. And also follow those directions. I think. Yeah. Right. We must people get in trouble. It's because they follow the instructions, you know, I'm had a hurt a story about a woman who was doing sitting in. She couldn't figure out how to put the harness on the dog. But the owner had said, you know, always as on he came back out of his caller like somebody dogs do ensure enough, you know, she took the dog on walks with just to call her in with harnessed on who she figured out in the dog got away and speaking of those directions, there are some folks that are very very detailed in their directions for specific like three three pillow. What some of the money? But essential instructions from clients that you have to follow that really pamper their dog. So many instructions, you know, you walk into the first day of a pet sitting in. There's usually what I call the book and. And I like the phone book. And then I had a client who would sticky things all over her house like oh Sammy likes to sleep here in Sammy will jump up here and had a sticky all over her house where her level talk. Sammy would like those were all the favorite spots and nowadays people have ring and all these other. So they can see when you come and go, but did you ever wonder if they've got cameras in every room, especially asleep over so how do you deal with big eyes? You know, what there's no expectation of privacy anymore. I used to be squeamish about asking people era cameras in. But now, I just straight up say, we are the cameras in your because you know, you're not legally supposed to record somebody without letting the note with people do it all the time. And especially if you're sleeping at someone's house. It's nice to know that they have eyeballs on you're even audio. It's better to know. And to that point. I always tell the people that I hire have a lot of independent contractors who work for me. I never do anything that. You would wanna see yourself doing in a court of law? You know screen just everybody has a nanny camera to be ever ever. So aware of

Review: With the latest 'Grinch,' there's nothing much new

"So awhile ago, I wanna say number of months ago, we got shown a first teaser. Well, first of all got announced that oh, they're doing another grant of yet, another remake the Grinch for those that aren't aware. They did the original amid movie with Boris Karloff voice in the grant and narrating. And that one for a long time was the only one there was no Grinch anything in two thousand which I did Naji know this until recently that that's when it came out. It doesn't seem like it's been that long to me. But I digress. They didn't live action grant where Ron Howard. Did it directed it? Jim Carrey was the Grinch in it. In a lotta ways that it kind of expand on the story and kind of filled in gaps that we really didn't get in the book, or in the animated film that you know, we had had many many years ago, and some people were mixed about it. I personally really enjoyed it. I thought you know, Jim Carey did a great job the castle did a really great job had a good soundtrack, and it was a different fun film. And as I was watching the teasers for this new grant and the trailers, you know, where Benedict Cumberbatch this time voices. The grant turns out Keenan Thompson is in it as like a neighbor of the grant, and then then the girl from murder, she wrote her name's on the tip my tongue. It's she voices the mayor whose only for a little bit. So anyways. So this film. I was if you about it had my doubts, Mike, you know, what it could be good or it could be really bad. There's no in between. And I was able to see this movie this week. And yeah. I'm going to bring it to you everything about this film. I do warn you there may be some spoilers in here. I'm going to try to keep it as spoiler free as I can. But at the same time, I'm gonna you know, kind of this is going to be kind of a, you know, just true review. It's what's going to be so anyways. So this movie like I said has been come about just the grant it's computer animated. It's done by aluminum entertainment, the same company that's done. You know, the first three despicable me movies. It did minions which really my opinion were all actually really good movies, by the way, I had my dad's about minions to and I left going right minions. They did a very good job. So I thought you know, that going, you know, what I don't think it's going to be bad. I just didn't think. So. So anyways, I go and see this movie, which by the way is only like an hour, forty minutes long. It's not really a long movie. The live action version that Ron Howard derive. Acted was I think closer to two hours, and I'm just going to say it, the this movie is terrible. It has a really really really bad film is just man I was just like in shock. How bad it was.

James Marsden to Star in 'Sonic the Hedgehog' Movie

"Sonic movie has started production and we almost talked about this last week, but we had so much stuff to cover last week that I was like, oh, we'll get to. Eventually I was gonna say anything like, he's like, you know, we did. We really didn't have a lot this week, so it kinda worked out. Like eight con filled in nicely to Slad in. But okay, so I'm getting this from comic book movie dot com. Say, having started production only a week ago, the sonic the hedgehog film is already delving into nostalgia hills zone. A name familiar to fans of the franchise will be making its live action debut during the hybrid film, the location of Greenhills, which set the tone for sonic as the first games level. As the games I level seems to be under the watch of sheriff, Tom, which hausky played by James Marsden the film's human lead. Now, there's a couple of pictures of Mr. Marsden l. k. onset. They just literally within. Like a week or so, you know, just started filming. So you know, they're kind of doing principal for tiger fy and stuff at this point. But this is Mr. Marsden as Tom, the Cup. It's like, okay for anyone who hasn't seen any set photos. He's just like in like a sheriff's outfit like that Brown light Brown combo me myself and Irene, he kind of looks like Jim Carrey does. He does? He does. And then here's a another. One of them. Just, you know, fixing his little cowboy hat. Just like, you know, I don't remember a cop in sonic. It's it's going to be because they call it a hybrid movie is going to be like a live action CG tight. Okay. So like the cream for Robin Kennedy thing, think Alvin and the chipmunks project probably somewhere or like the Smurfs movie or something like that somewhere weren't
