"So Nardine Ajami, who again is obsessed. Their thing now is she's going after Sebastian Gorka, So let's let's see what she's up to. In lifetime. Here's Nardine E. John Johnny. She's now getting Sebastian Gorka cancelled from a company called Big Commerce. So if you were selling things on big commerce, who apparently was more than eager to comply with Gardini Jammi who? Apparently his friends with a guy who is a trans Afobe anti Semite, Andrew will Corazon. That's kind of weird. You should Probably get away from big commerce too. But more importantly, she decided be a good idea to attack Ben Shapiro's daily wire this weekend. Listen, I met Ben a couple times. I'm not friends with him. I'm not not friends with him. He was a nice guy. I did a show. He's welcome on here any time, but, uh, Warby Parker is, I guess some kind of glass company eyeglasses, and they had ads that appeared on the daily wire. You know, Programmatic said stuff happens. So nardine e g. I guess. After she fed the cats, she got bored. So she's like, Hey, Warby. Parker. Did you mean to place your Hands on the daily wire. An outlet that is promoting the Texas abortion ban. Oh, my gosh. Jim. Ben Shapiro, A pro lifer supports not killing kids in the womb that have a heartbeat. How can Warby Parker? How dare you running out of that? So you would think, Warby Parker. If they had a brain, this company going public sooner, you would think Warby Parker. Would have a brain and be like, Hey, listen. We advertise on a lot of sites. We don't endorse politics. We saw glass. No, they were too stupid for that. They tweeted back to the cat lady, they said we work with a third party to play some of her ads, and we did not approve this placement. We have since worked with our partner to block our ads from appearing on the site. Good to know. So if you out there have Barbie Parker glasses. Probably a good idea. You may want to return them. You may want to send the company and email today, saying, you know you don't want kids being whacked in the room either when they get a heartbeat. And if you were going to buy glasses, I definitely wouldn't buy him from Warby Parker. I'm just saying what I'm Anthony Imperato, president of Henry repeating arms Patriotic Americans.

"Senator joe manchin of west virginia's calling on his fellow democrats to take a pause before advancing a multi trillion dollar budget plan. Senator mansion has a new piece in the wall street journal titled why won't support spending another three point. five trillion. Senator mansion writes this quote instead of rushing to spend trillions of new government programs and additional stimulus funding. Congress should hit a strategic pause on the budget reconciliation legislation. We must allow for complete reporting and analysis of the implications a multi trillion dollar. Bill will have for this generation. In next i for one won't support a three point five trillion dollar bill or anywhere near that level of additional spending without greater clarity about why congress chooses to ignore the serious effects. Inflation and debt have on existing government programs. Senate budget committee chairman bernie. Sanders was quick to respond to senator mansions bed arguing. Both tracks of the infrastructure proposal must pass or neither will senator sanders tweeted this rebuilding our crumbling. Physical infrastructure roads bridges water systems is important rebuilding our crumbling human infrastructure healthcare education climate change is more important no infrastructure bill without the three point five trillion dollar reconciliation bill so vendor with a fifty fifty split in the senate. There's no wiggle room whatsoever for democrats here. What gives will there obviously in the short term in quite a pickle. We can't square the two sides mansion in sanders on this. I think when you talk to democrats behind the scenes a trillion dollars for hearted structure is the floor. I think everyone believes the end of the day. They're going to get at least that mansion is not saying he won't support a lot more than that if you read that he's basically saying wanna pause in any more explanation before i go anywhere near the three point five clearly. He's saying there's something between one point five that he could live and he's using his leverage. Probably like you should have your senator to maximize his hand. Maximize his power and shaping that final facts. I think there'll be a lot of twists and turns. Obviously democrats would rather get this done quickly in heavy unified party around it. That was never going to happen. Mentioned signal early on what he was going to do. But i wouldn't like overreact to this. It's part of the process. And i think at the end of the day. You're still going to see democrats getting a bill on infrastructure and probably some of these other topics it's bigger than almost any bill in the history of the country. There's a lot of spending going on. He's not wrong on that. And people reflecting on the cost of the upside downside of spending is probably not on advised in. Ill advised so. I do think up. Before the end of the year you will see it. Infrastructure bill probably something above that it fits between one and three point five trillion dollars that bernie. Sanders wants to victoria. Obviously joe manchin has frustrated progressives as we heard in that statement from bernie sanders senator. Sanders was not alone in his criticism. Yesterday of joe manchin. But where is the give here as jim says the probably be something huge numbers we're talking about by the way up in the trillions again where to joe mansion and bernie sanders find that common ground to push this through right and send her mansion is doing exactly what he's supposed to be doing as swing vote in the senate one thing that he said in that op. Ed though willie was a little bit frustrating for me worries that if i can't explain it i can't vote or in policy can be extremely complex but when it comes to infrastructure whether it's physical infrastructure bridges roads or human infrastructure childcare provision paid. Leave that to me is probably one of the most straightforward policies that people get in they connect to drive on roads every day. We take our kids today daycare. So i think that one is not necessarily the. The argument. city's gonna win. Does he want to be a little bit more conservative. Fiscally okay but people get it and they know that this is going to affect their lives people putting their markers down before the senate comes back in session. Those fifty democrats will have to get together to figure out how to push through these trillions of dollars worth of legislation meanwhile congresswoman liz. Cheney is back in leadership in the house of representatives just in a very different role the wyoming republican will serve as vice chair of the house select committee investigating the january six attack on the capital the same day congresswoman. Cheney was named to that position members of her own party launched another attack against her house. Freedom caucus chair congressman. Andy biggs and sixteen other members of the republican party. Formerly requested minority leader. Kevin mccarthy changed the rules so republicans can remove. Cheney and congressman. Adam zinger who also is a member of the committee from the republican conference throw them out of the caucus in a letter group specifies. Its opposition is quote not because of a policy or political difference. The hard right. Republicans argue quote accepting committee assignments from speaker pelosi and ignoring the longstanding practice and rule of being nominated by designated. Gop members is a betrayal to our party's efforts against pelosi and the far lefts attacks. So this is nothing new. Susan dell persio that we haven't seen from this group of republicans who wants no reflection within his own party about what happened on january sixth. That's exactly right and i. It's almost comical to see these sixteen because they are a bunch of clowns in a lot of regard. Say just say things to get attention. They're not serious. Legislators and the fact is is at liz. Cheney is not going to be just the face of nancy pelosi. she's taking this very seriously as his adam kinser and i believe that we're going to see things that may surprise or even upset some democrats on on cheney's line of questioning potentially but this is a bigger problem for mccarthy since he wants to take back the house in twenty twenty two. You can't start getting rid of good conservative members and then not looked so extreme when you want to win back some swing seats in in the two thousand twenty two elections. So i mean. Let's just put a fine point on this. Liz cheney and adam kuenz and your god forbid wanna take a look at what led up to january six and what happened on that day. Republicans want to. Now throw them out of the party. This group of republicans. Anyway throw them out of the party because of that the republicans are going to up with three issues on the table. With when you're starting with its party of morrissey in the last few weeks here the three flags. Republicans have risen one. We don't want to look into insurrection against us government. We don't wanna do any investigating as to what happened with one of the saddest days. Most frightened days to democracy. America issue number one number two. We don't have to make. Children wear masks in school to keep them safe when we were against that. We don't want children to be a safe as they possibly can. That's an impingement on freedom yet at the same time. We don't want to give women the freedom six weeks after they get raped by their uncle to get an abortion. This is the party of lunacy and pure political point of view. As i said earlier you know just setting themselves up to go against history which would allow the opposition party to win the midterms and allow the democrats keep control so from a human point of view in a political point of view. Which the party of louis. Point jim ben. Hi liz cheney and adam kinser both kind of been on an island here for the last..

"Does he take to technician at the. Fa can you tell us what kind of training does one need. Sure so one of the awesome things i think about being a technician is our positions are so varied. There's so many different types of equipment that people can be working on so there's not an amount of training. That's really necessary to do this job. I mean it just depends on what it is. We get those military folks because they do have that training but we grab folks. it backgrounds. We have folks that are mechanical backgrounds. We have folks that are just kind of power system backgrounds that are working on h. Back and stuff like that because we need all of that to make sure that we're getting this work. Done h is particularly important because especially here in california. This equipment gets hot. It's just gonna shut down so it's a really important aspect but one of the best things about the technicians. You actually get that training once you come here so if you've already kind of worked in field that is marketable you're able to actually go train on the specific equipment and that's one of the best things about being a technician with the faa. When i came on with the agency. I went to radar concept school. I went to eleven squad. Didn't go to general radar. School actually learned the radar. On which i was going to be working. I went to two star school. I went to arts tweets. This is all just equipment and other just acronyms but everything that we work on. They send us to school specifically for that equipment and so you feel a lot more comfortable with that so really coming on. You don't need a ton of training. I mean if you have something. That's in the realm of it of of electronics systems of electrical systems h. Fac if you've got that background that'll get you in the door pretty easily and then when you get here. That's when you really get your training done and that's when you really learn exactly what you need to do.

I'm gonna follow it up with. A lot going on. We're going to get to inflation here. Pre of futures at negative to Dow futures negative fifteen Bloomberg surveillance this morning bunch by Resnick opportunities zone. Investments can enhance returns to capital gains and improve communities wanna know more talk to a cohnresnick industry professional or visit cohnresnick dot com slash opportunity zones. We think cohnresnick for their support with TD securities premiss her with us this morning. Pre is John mentioned inflation and the GDP report wasn't. There is flation within the GDP report different than inflation in the CPI series. Hey, tom. Yes. It is. I mean, it all supposed to capture the underlying pricing pressure. But in terms of CPI that sort of looking at a consumption Bosquet, the GP uses I think, she's a the GDP deflators. But, you know, ultimately, they're all guitar telling us as a reason to whole lot of pricing power in a waiting inflation started to become beast and haven't seen that really translate into high inflation for the consumer. So I think that's the concern for the fed because if the the gap is essentially closed why inflation picking up, and so, you know, then that has implications for monetary policy going forward. Attention to be paid to the Cobra gun. The last week. We had some big consumer companies start to say that they have been putting prices up, and it was being well received the consumer price tolerance whilst there is that just to narrow a sliver of the broader economy. You know, I I am taking some comfort from that. I think the problem with the CPI Busk gate, or or PC is is that representatives for every consumer out there. So, you know, I I think that's why even though there is some pricing out if it's not may not show up that underlying gauge, but I think as long as the labor market remained strong the ability for the consumer to be even if it's a narrow component to be able to pay for higher prices. We'll be there. So, you know, that's why I think that are are really that inflation will actually pick up, you know, nothing near Doggett. But, you know, do we get to one point eight one point nine on on that sort of our call given how strong believer marketers often? I get some great night some guests from my producers about what you guys think about the world. And I think about the market, and they first paragraph that I received from you today, the right market is price for a pretty dovish outcome. This is the this week, which I think is also with the economic data so far. Financial conditions of Easter law. So I think the rights a much to pessimistic about right cuts in the nit won't me through that the threshold to cut much higher than what the market believes right now. So the market right now, the market is pricing in twenty seven basis points of fed eases this year and other twenty five base points phases. Next year. You know, the the reason I think it's dovish is if you look at what the threshold should be for the fed to ease read. I did it is economic data is significantly deteriorating. We haven't seen that data inflation is a little soft. But you know, it's not hitting lure. So, you know, from the comic data standpoint, we would argue that it's hard to see the federal thing. The other document is you know, let's look at financial conditions in December. I was not as Novus about the fed easing because you know, conditions tightened significantly. That's not there. So I see this disconnect between risk assets and rates market. One of the do markets has right. But I think that it's market here is a little too pessimistic that the to ease premiums ruse with TD securities pre just put out on Twitter, Bloomberg radio. You'll see. At first services inflation, which is three ish. Let's call it stable, and the vector and goods inflation was south in stable than did better with a little bit of inflation in goods in his rolled-over. Once again, how is chairman Powell a slave to that goods inflation rollover, right? I think you know, goods inflation has been underperforming for the why. But the US is still largely a closed economy. So I would argue to the number is much higher. No. So says inflation has not picked up as much as you would have expected. So even if you think that the Phillips worked for overall inflation, it should become for fear, but it's potentially might have not been taught. So I think they're only beating the makeup policies. But I think it's money for them to sort of throw in the dial and stuff that this is so important before the financial crisis services inflation was three point eight three point nine even four percent. And it just. Can't get back there in the goods inflation. Let's call it the world technology event is deflation, I mean, it's arguably deflation as well. So let's talk about what it means for treasuries. Pre you still looking for state of still looked forbid of the front end. Even though you don't think this right cut story materializes. What's the thinking that? So the deepening that I'm looking at is really five to thirties. I think, you know, even if the fed doesn't ease the this year, I think the market is going to be Novus about the cycles ended at some point they have to eat. So that can keep the front in pretty answered, you know, when you look for the girl, I think investors need to get paid of Baid something to take on tuition risk. So, you know with with high deficits, which I she supplies staying high. I thought is that that don't premium needs to right? So that could be one reason for the higher or for the steep of the other argument is if the feds starts talking about this makeup all with more credibility that even if inflation gets to two percent two point one two. Two point five, you know, good heavens divided actually not going to hike. I think that's going to increase inflation risk premium across the cups. I feel like the steep night. I think this year is overdone, but we should be keeping the risk of guts, you know, for the next couple of years. I think that is reasonably Jonah the fed will have to cut rate next year or the year after you mentioned risk premia picking up. How's that going to happen with the ACP and monetary policy over in Europe, set the way it is likewise with Japan given rights our over that just the amount of flows? That's going to continue to come into the US market from abroad. Cha. No, that's that's very good point. I think even though I am looking for higher premium. I'm not looking for it to, you know, get an ankle. So what are you looking for the game? Stay within two sixty two seventy five little higher than here. But nothing, you know, nothing. Hi than three percent. Are we done financial repression because as far as I'm concerned, or there was a whisper of maybe actually get a tangible real yield, and it's sort of slip. Away as an aide has I you can go on and financial depression. You can call it lower star. I'm in that lower star camp. I think I'm onto productivity really picks up to the point where they're gonna be can handle higher real rate writing? But I'm gonna be stuck here for a while. We're still higher real rates than than to Europe. And for our listeners don't care about our start. They're just trying to make a tengible return either equity or buzz. I mean Faeroes doing I O's I get that. But you know, everybody else in the real world. Can you see him that? And we. My head. Can we actually looked down the road to actually making tangible two three four year CD return? I think on injury terms. I think we have to be prepared for Laura times going forward until that equilibrium. Real interest rates rise productivity vices dental graphics going again. So either you need productivity. Oh, you need the population. And I'm hopeful that the millennial generation will put away their phones, and you know, be productive. I'm only joking here. But I even be productivity higher or innovation picking up. And it's that just could take some time because they're not a whole lot of technologies out there. They just have not been heated into the business processes. So I'm not long-term vein. I mean, if whenever they are hopefully, then we will get hired at done. But I think I'm Jim Ben if really interested if been real interested between zero and fifty basis points, it's even discuss it's giving you any hiding guns. Guzzi emails this week in pre miserable. Thank you so much TV. Ameritrade TD securities. I should say with really a lovely lovely. Thanks, pray overview of your financial repression, as well, John I make jokes about it. But the real yield us to actually be real yield. Like it was two percent or young point one. We'd sit there and micro analyze it. And it's just gone. It's just there's no other way to put this is now a global market web, relatively speaking. At least we all say positive real yielding United States. We don't have in Europe. Our listeners are looking at the absolute like, what's in it for me? And the answer is I I haven't seen this scattered out chart of dividend yield against dividend growth for some of the major blue chips. "They don't set my run we will pursue them. Why were pursuing because somebody's in there calling border patrol to let them know that there's four hundred people here that no border patrol is aware of couple of things to clarify. I mean, they are chasing people. He made that very clear, and they are stopping them and detaining them, and they say people are free to leave but do these migrants. No, they're free to leave. There is a real concern. And and board patrol is aware of the groups. They are monitoring the situation they say, we're not encouraging this. But when the group reports they have migrants, they go and pick them up. So you see pe- ended up in court. What was their leader? He had already had three convictions and should not have had any guns or weapons to until KOMO complaint. Stems back to November twenty seventeen when witnesses reported seeing multiple weapons at his home in flora vista. And he allegedly said his United constitutional patriots were training to kill President, Barack Obama, Hillary Clinton, and George Soros, and it's unusual in that these charges are not related to the titties here on the borders for as the guns when I interviewed Hopkins he called himself the commander of the group. And now the organization is saying he was just a cook. And did not carry a gun and the group is this. They have the right to stop migrants coming across the border. Jim Ben v made that very clear again and interviews we are detaining people. But not a legally they do not surrender to verbal commands. We do not force them to stay with us. I've talked to border patrol, and they said look anyone with the public can watch the border. We encourage people to report illegal activity, but do not take the law into your own hands. I talked to Jim Ben via the spokesman for the United constitutional patriots. After camp in explain to me what they do when they encounter large groups of migrants coming across the border we walk in. We don't know who they are three hundred of them come up to us. I mean, sit now if they don't sit they might run we will pursue them. Why were pursuing them because somebody's in there calling border patrol to let them know that there's four hundred people up here that no boarder patrol is aware of couple things to clarify. I mean, they are chasing people. He made that very clear, and they are stopping them and detaining them, and they say people free to leave but do these migrants. No, they're free to leave. It. There is a real concern and border patrol is aware of the groups. They are monitoring the situation they say, we're not encouraging this. "District sixty nine down from Seymour and Jim's Ben as he always does in every legislative session since he's been well your fourth term, Jim. Yes. Four-term seventh year. Yeah. He's over there fighting the good fight for our second amendment rights, and Jim you, and I have worked very closely. On a Bill house Bill twelve eighty four. I've I've mentioned it last week on the show, but just to set this up a little bit. You know, we've seen specific instances, including by the way involving a couple of my clients. Where folks have used force in self defense, and it's been absolutely unquestionably justified. Not let me know criminal prosecution in in in both cases, folks were actually heroes and were praised by law enforcement as heroes. And yet notwithstanding the fact that they Geraldo used absolutely lawful and justified force in self defense. The families of the persons who were actually committing criminal acts, whether as attempted murder or armed robbery in the cases. I'm thinking of that I was involved in. The now saying the fact that the the person against whom justified force was used they turned around their families did and sued the victims of the crime who were forced into a position of using force in self defense in you, and I have we started talking about this last summer. In particular in the context of of my more recent case involving a young lady who saved a police officer's life down in rising sun, Indiana. And we said, you know, what both of us said we are fixed. This this should not be the law in Indiana. The that allows this kind of frivolous groundless litigation to proceed and victimized for a second time someone who was forced into this position by a criminal. So we worked together and now have house Bill twelve eighty four that would create a pretrial procedure where a plaintiff who's claiming wrongful death or personal injury. Whatever it might be has to come in and establish with the burden on them that a use of force was not justified under the Indiana self defense statute, if they can't do that the case gets dismissed and the defendant attorney's fees, and and I'm excited about it. I know you are. And I talked about it a lot for a couple of segments last week. But first of all, thanks for for championing that in the general assembly, and what can you tell us about that about where that stands? Oh, this is probably one of the bill's I'm excited about most the session because you you gave an excellent summary of it there. What it does a person shouldn't have to defend themselves twice in horrible incident. Like that or even defending somebody else? Exactly when you say, it's perfectly justified knows the keywords. I've seen some people call this a shoot to kill Bill. That's nothing could be further from the truth and anybody that is reckless or negligent or intentionally misuses a firearm against another innocent human being I want them held fully accountable. This is not going to get anybody off scot-free under still a process that the courts decide it's just tightening that up so that somebody in a justified shoot in defense of themselves or loved ones others, complete strangers. You know, they shouldn't have to be going through this issue twice, and you did an incredible job. And I'm going to kind of touch base on the issue. We were just talking about before the break, you know, people bring those these bills take a long time to develop, and that's something a lot of people don't realize the amount of work that goes into because it's it's a relatively short Bill. They read on like how long does it take to write that up? Well, that's there's countless hours of research. You've got to look at that. You will. How many parties different parties we've talked to about it? You know, running it back and forth, and you've got to run the traps and make sure everything's good to get to a Bill that you speaking for myself. Now, you I could not be happier with and apparently the NRA's pretty happy with it because they're discussing. Thank you miss model legislation for the nation. Yeah. They are. Yeah. And and and and you're right. It it takes some work. But, you know, this is something that that I'm very passionate about because, you know, in constitutional carries is another example. But this is this is this is one of those situations where you look at it. And you say, you know, what our law? Should should not be the way. It is today. There's something fundamentally flawed. You know, you have said it a million times about constitutional carry. There's no way we shift to purchase a pre existing right back from the government that just shouldn't be if I have a right. I shouldn't have to to buy it back from the government. And and then I look at at twelve eighty four and this is what led to our original discussions in and actually then put pen to paper, and creating the actual legislation which is justifiable use force in self-defence. I shouldn't get sued over that. I just could not. And you know, what if somebody and I'm sorry. I haven't heard that they're calling it the shoot to kill Bill. I'm gonna laugh out loud. At that. When that comes up at a hearing what I'm testifying because you know, what this is this is a.
