"Do you want folks to ask for hobbies or advice for hobbies they have to us how we can properly get them in more? Absolutely. Ask us about all your hobbies and all the hobbies you're curious about. Hobbies that you imagine that we do that we've never talked about, ask about them all. Oh, yes, make assumptions. This is the one time it's okay to make assumptions. You guys got to pass. You know, I feel like I feel like back has thought about getting into RC cars. Oh yeah, without a doubt. And I think Dan riker probably on that same spectrum probably has a collection of RC controlled submarines. And then he takes out to the Lake on weekends. I'm gonna make another assumption. I grub, I think you like croissants. I think that you dance the tango. I feel attacked and read like a book, actually. There you go. Hey, folks, if you need a dance lesson, just go to your local community college. 9 times out of ten, they have a course. Yeah. All right, less email comes from, I forgot their name, didn't put that down. I apologize. Dear Jan Parmesan and grub. Please discuss crime boss somewhere here at the email section. Earlier was not enough to convey what happened on GPS. Please play again next week we have love that is all said for my PC. I like when people shoot their shot. I like that. Wow. It's about being read like a book. Yeah. Wow, they got us here, huh? They really nailed the flow of things. Yeah. It's a little disconcerting when people can just know how it's gonna happen. Yeah, sure. Crime boss, huh? Man, should we do another, we should do another UPF where we roping those other two, huh? Yes, we should. Yes, we like to listen more vets. We should really kade. We should work that as we really like it. Yeah, you know what? Okay, folks. Any time we see Dan in this coming week, we're grubbing I we're just gonna be working them here, all right? Yeah, I know Dan listens live sometimes, but this is pre recorded. So Dan won't know, because we'll make sure that we take up all his time tomorrow, so he doesn't get time to listen to the bomb cast. We're gonna work Dan that crime boss is actually really good. You guys could help us out too, so. If you see me slip and say something to me about it on Twitter, you might be like, oh, man, you know you love it and you're right, I do. It's my favorite, so. Yeah, yeah, yeah, we're gonna be working them. I'll tweet like a slash S because you were being sarcastic. Yeah, there we go. All right. Here we go. We got each other's backs here, everybody. All right, good. We're inadvertently going to work ourselves into the secret group. You mean we're gonna work ourselves into the sequel, but we're actually, we are actually in it. Yes. Okay, well, now I'm on board. All right, that does it for emails. Once again, you can send your emails to bombcast at giant bomb dot com. This is gonna be a weird week, other than Monday's episode of game this morning's, you ready, there should be another episode this week. No, no. I keep thinking about what I would do when I come, hey, if there was a reason I had to take extended time off or something, which we had like a backup. And I was like, yeah, I have an ideas, but that's not set up, and it's not. We missed the time. And it's okay. Everyone gets it. We're doing other things. So yeah, Monday's episode, no other game this morning's this week. Yes. No other episodes game this morning this week. We will eventually have a voicemail dump truck later in the week. We're still fielding calls. We're going to be doing that at dream hack with two of our homies from fandom. So calls calls, please send them in 7 O 7 exit flu. Do have a little bit to be a little bit more gaming centric, but you know, we'll fudge around and if someone gets fun. If someone gets upset, well, hey, that's on me and I'll take the blame. I'll take the bullet, folks. It'll be Sunday morning. No one will be listening to anyone who gets mad at us. Which is my piece, and I'll just leave. Exactly. Yeah. My flight is later that day. So I will literally just leave. We're also going to be doing a bunch of stuff. We'll make sure to put that up on the what the hell happened here. Why is there a doge on Twitter? Now, I thought you were going to say, why is there a dock? And I was going to get really scared that they're just like manifesting themselves for each episode. If you go to

"Emails. And if you want to produce any movies based off of religious figures, we're not going to do it. We are definitely not the people to reach out to. A giant bomb pitcher has already collapsed and under its own weight there. And we just couldn't make that happen. Yeah, we got it to production. We were storyboarding and it turns out everything somehow became an adult movie. We just couldn't help it. It was could it help it? You know, we, all of us even stayed outside of the planning room. And the storyboard still came out the same. But what is never the same are your emails and you can send your emails to bombcast a giant bomb dot com, we'll try and read them if we receive them in a timely manner. And I just want to say, I appreciate everyone's emails. Grab. I appreciate everyone's emails. This is a shorter show, so we're just gonna have, just gonna read a baby's handful of them. There's a bunch of good ones that I'll probably say for when we're back with a regular decker giant bomb cast. But first email comes from Adam from Winnipeg. Hi, Jeff. I've noticed lately you both haven't been talking much about hockey as you used to. Is something going on? Watching and talking hockey can be a good source of fun. For instance, my team just scored 6 goals in both of their last two games. Oh my God. Adam from Winnipeg. Okay, I get it. Jesus Christ Adam. Did you notice as soon as that happened? You were like, oh, I gotta email them because it was their teams. That's not. The red wings have been playing very well. And they've been having terrible luck. So like when you look at the stats and their 5 on 5 play, which is like the normal game, no power plays, no penalty kills. They've been playing very well in terms of goals expected, which is a big thing in tracking how the team's playing. But they're actual goals for the lowest in the league. So it's like that's just bad luck 'cause the pucks are hitting the net. They're just not going in. And then we played Winnipeg and Winnipeg actually just kicked our ass. They just actually, they actually just did destroy a Detroit. And it was a really bad game. So hey, I guess I'll root for Winnipeg in the playoffs, how about that? They're making it right. They've been playing very well, I think. Sure. According to Adam, they have been. Yeah. But hey, listen, I went backwards back. I'm sure he'll probably be talking because we'll be very close to playoff high jeez. We have playoff hockey should be starting here any minute now. What is the season normally rap? April is when playoffs start. Yeah, there's probably like two weeks left of the season. The red wings have been fizzling out. So I've been watching the games, but I've not really been paying attention to a lot of the season. I think they probably have like ten games left, so yeah, that sounds about right. But yeah, so that means when he gets back, the Devils will be in the midst of it and he'll be probably a nervous wreck. I'll be very happy to sell on the sideline and watch. There we go. We'll need our cold 5, which will just be 5 dedicated minutes to hockey. We have half a show dedicated to wrestling sometimes, so it's only fair. It's only fair. Yeah, we'll adjust our sports allotment. Oh, that's like 6 games left, okay. That's not a lot. It's not a lot. Don't burn them. We're right there. Happy opening day to those that celebrate baseball. Don't worry folks. One day our beloved sport will be interesting to everyone again. I'm on a baseball mood this year. One place of MLB the show, yeah. You know what? I was thinking this is the year I get into back into baseball. I think I just need something to drinking mood, but listen, who could tell the difference? Grub what so what's the go to ballpark food for your respective park or whatever you go? I mean, I go for the glizzy. Oh, okay. Of course, of course. I go for the glizzy. Like a ballpark Frank. I do like that. Yeah, yeah, ballpark Frank. I'm a garlic fry type of guy, so I'll go for that. If I ever need a character name for anything, I'm going to be Frank glizzy. Frankly, yeah. I'll be garlic fried guy. Not ghee, everyone. It's pronounced guy, excuse me. Guy. All right, next email comes from Danny from MI. Is that Minnesota or Mississippi? Am I? Nope, keep trying. Michigan. There it is. There we go. I noticed when you got a little bit offended, I was like, it's Michigan. It's Michigan. Exactly right. The stars aligned. If you guys hadn't mentioned it on the bombcast already, I subscribe to peacock and my wife went out with friends. I wouldn't have checked out Sunday's WrestleMania. And boys, I was not disappointed. I'm not a wrestling convert, but this was hella fun. There's some great personas and feats of strength, and we're only halfway through. Denny, from Michigan. Good for you, Denny. Yeah, it is entertaining. They're putting on a show for you. And all the dumb stuff is very easily, to me that's what makes it special, but if it's like rubs you the wrong way or like this seems, how can people not tell it's fake? Everyone knows it's fake. Everyone knows every TV show is fake. It's the same thing as just any other TV show. It's a storyline that never ends and the characters are allowed to be larger than life and the and then the stories are allowed to be a little bit dumber and that's a lot of fun. Yeah, I think as a wrestling fan, you can get easily, well, you can easily work yourself into a shoot. But you can easily get mired in the weeds of the week to week television that wrestling stops being super fun. But to a casual person just checking it out on a whim because they have peacock, that's great. I'm glad. Yeah, witness the pageantry because this is where it is like amped up to 12. Exactly. I mean, yeah, the atmosphere was really good at SoFi Stadium. SoFi Stadium. It's also, it's like, who what casual person is going to drop 60 to $70 for a pay per view for something they have zero interest in? No one. Yeah. That seems like the move to peacock was a great choice. Yeah, definitely. If AW was on something like, I don't know. What is Warner? Oh, HBO Max. Oh my God. That'd be very cool. I feel like that boost up the viewership. Dramatically. Tony Khan get on it. Stop stop drinking energy drinks and get on it. I do believe that they've been very much trying to get something like that to have. Okay, there we go. I just need what's HBO, I show. I just need the last of us to have like evil uno in it for like one up. Yeah, euphoria just has John Cena just like, what are these children doing? Please, yes, yes. I need House of black to pop up on euphoria as a fever.

"Show, I would expect that at least a couple of minutes will have VR games because if not, then yeah, right, if it doesn't, that's also strange. That'll be very telling. Yes, it would be very telling very early on, kind of like, if there's not stuff there, I'd be like, did they abandon this thing already, but maybe there was just never the plan, but that's weird because they need to be selling that thing every chance they can. Yeah. Just a couple other stories here. Xbox Series X gets a Diablo four bundle. This was mostly noticeable because people were upset that it didn't include like a special edition version of the Xbox Series X it's just a standard Xbox Series X and then it comes with Diablo four. That Diablo four version Diablo four I think does have a few bonuses for endgame, but people want to fund design on the console. Something we haven't had yet really with the Xbox Series X or the PlayStation 5, right? Oh yeah, now that you mention it, I guess that's something that hasn't really popped off. Because I definitely remember wanting that Spider-Man PS4. Yes, exactly. And I get wanting to have one of those things, but it just seems like early on in this generation, these companies are like being careful with their production and not disrupting it by offering a special edition. At least that seems to be what's happening. That makes enough sense. But I guess like with the Xbox, I feel like those haven't those been more readily available versus PS5s that Microsoft perhaps could make a funky one. The S has for sure, though, the X I still have struggled to find that it's still even more readily available than the PS5, yes. But just this past week, we had the MPDs last week and pointed out that PS5 is actually, they're much more available, but the supply is not like, oh, they're just on every store shelf. He said both the PS5 and the Xbox Series X are relatively still pretty hard to come by when compared to historic trends. I think that these companies are both like, we don't want to, yeah, just because things are more readily available. It doesn't mean we want to mess with things. We kind of maybe want to enjoy a few months of just selling these things as they are and finally getting the install base where it could be this entire time. Okay. Poochie is maybe coming to Mario kart tour. I'm excited. I love poochie, Yoshi and poochie, put you in my boy. The dog from Yoshi's island been in a bunch of Yoshi games now. And there is a glimpse of poochie in a Yoshi track that is coming to Mario kart Mario kart tour and you can see behind sort of like a pipe and you can just see a little bit of it so people like spotted it because it's actually pretty small. It's like, no, that is poochie. And so the implication being, hey, poochie will come to Mario kart tour. Now I've put you a lot, but I'm not gonna stop you and put you poochie poochie poochie. Poochie gang, put you gang pooch again. So yeah. Coming to my car tour. And then so your dog grub. Oh, yeah, how do you feel about poop? I like how weird he is. I mean, like I thought the pikmin dog was weird. No, this is a weird dog. Picnic dog's definitely poochie like, but yeah, no, I like that. Weird dog. He worked. You stand on his back and Yoshi's island. Whatever direction you face, he's just gonna run that way and you just stand still. It took me a long time to understand that that's how it worked to make it. Should I be pressing right? And I have just run off his back. All right, then last story I just have listed here is that the early Mario reviews are pretty positive for that movie. You've been seeing the sentiment online. People coming out of the premiere and be like, hey, that was really delightful. It was a thrill ride. I saw the term thriller thrill ride thrown around a lot. The primary things people seem to be happy with. I'll give you a guess, do you think it's Jack Black? I would say that it be Jack Black or someone else in the movie's performance is like killer. Jack Black's performance is killer. People love Jack Black. Also, Charlie day is Luigi's getting called out pretty frequently. We have a very good time. And that sounds right. The award on Chris Pratt is adequate. Serviceable and adequate, which is, you know, the highest appraise. And the music is also getting called out. People said the music is very good. And then of course, the Easter eggs, Tim gettys over kind of funny, mentioned, he doesn't think he's ever seen a movie with many Easter eggs as this one. He pointed out they are good Easter eggs. It's not going to be distracting. So the early word is people are happy with it. There's at least one review that said they didn't like it. Who said it was too goofy. And I think that's the I talked about with Mike about this on a game this morning today as we recorded this on yesterday's episode and I'm like, he's much more familiar with illumination than I am and he's like, yeah, they have a tendency to be much more cool for you than Pixar and that could be not some people's taste and it does seem like that is probably what happened in this, although it does feel more constrained than most illumination movies like this isn't gonna be a minions, but it's like, hey, if that's not your style, this could still maybe rub you the wrong way. But for most, most people are gonna say, hey, for families, they're gonna love this. And that's my expectation. It just feels like such a weird criticism to levy against the movie of you know the studio that's behind it. You know the property. Yeah. You know who the target audience for this movie is. This isn't gonna be like, I mean, hey, it could pull at your heartstrings, puss and boots for folks. The last wish, that's a surprisingly and emotional movie. Plutonium Banderas always makes me cry. All the time all the time. But like, you know, hey, go in with go in with a good head folks. That's all I'm saying. I'm very excited to see this movie. I've also forgotten about Chris Pratt being in it. So there you go. Right, I've totally. I'm totally over it.

"Sony at the time, when that original report came out, said, we have not lowered our production numbers. And it's like, well, the number was that that Bloomberg was talking about was shipment numbers. So it's like, okay, they weren't going to ship 2 million, but they are still producing 2 million. All that seems to be out the window now because it's not even selling half a million in that first period. Now, clearly, these things could still sell, but this was like this was the launch period and this is what Sony was trying to get, at least again, according to Bloomberg. Even if you throw out that 2 million number though, 270,000 PSVR twos seems like a pretty slim install base to be making VR games for, right? Yeah, I'm just, I just feel like that was a punch to the gut when you reminded me that the internal goal was 2 million. 270,000 is definitely not 2 million. We're closer to like 10% than even like half of that. And you can see like 2 million. That is the ideal we can build a business model around that. That is a good start. That's a great start. 1 million. Well, that is, you know, that's an install base. A lot of things had a lot of systems that went on to have great long console lives, had 1 million systems sold in the first couple of months. That would be great. 270,000. Oh, okay, things have to change here. That seems to be where we're at. The reporting here is that they talk to an analyst and the analyst believes that they'll have to lower the price here very soon. To fix things here to avert the disastrous how that analyst puts it. So again, that's not coming from Sony, but I also don't see what other choice they have. I think this holiday, there's a deep discount to try to move some of these things to get that install base to where they want it to be. You think it's happening as soon or as late as the holidays this year? Yeah, because I mean, I think they try to write it out for a little bit here because you can't undo you can't undo things like, okay, well, there are discount or whatever. I mean, maybe they have like a summer sale or something like that. That's possible. But I think they're also want to try to pair things up with like, here's another new game is launching and we're doing the holiday sale. And they try to buy all the stuff so it almost feels like here's our next chance to relaunch this thing and have a strong holiday. I think that'll take some time and I think that will be the big plan, but also think once that holiday period is over, I don't think they raised the price back up or most of the time it's just on sale at that discounted price. But okay, it is $550. It's 600 ish with call of the mountain, which is the horizon VR game, the climbing game. That is already a pretty actual low price compared to other similar headsets that are a $1000, $1100 on PC. So my establishing here is Sony's already taken a loss on these things. They don't have a lot of room to discount it. Or to cut the price. So what are they really going to do here, Jen? I don't know. I absolutely don't know how to make it a better value. Because I mean, yes, it will eventually get reduced in price. But how much is it going to? When is it going to happen? But even then when we do get to that point, say it does happen in November or December of this year. And they do choose to write it out. What is coming to PSVR two? That's going to make me want to get it. Even then at a reduced price. We don't know. I mean, right now there's claims that a lot of games are in development. We haven't heard about many of them beyond this early launch period. But it's like, yeah, okay, I guess we'll give you some benefit of the doubt. I'm not giving you enough benefit from the doubt that I'm running out to buy one. But at least I'm still keeping an eye on it. Okay, if you promise ASTRO and a handful of other things and the price maybe does get a discount of all those things line up. Maybe I do make a move, but that is like a lot to ask for, I think. It's because the price is going to be hard to cut. And they are already investing so much in PS5 software that they really have enough to spare over for PSVR two software. Especially in a market where there are fewer VR developers than there ever were before, yeah, I don't have a lot of faith that all of those factors are going to be able to line up for them to be able to resell this thing and get people excited all over again. No. Well, we will also keep an eye on that. Well, they will probably have a showcase here for soon. Again, I keep hearing that PlayStation level showcase before the E three time frame E three now I think this one's similar game fest now.

"Conversation, whether or not we're trying to pit these companies against each other, those conversations eventually and they do wind up happening. And that can be an unnecessary stress. For a lot of these big companies. All right, we did need to look weak in front of Sony. So why would we even subject ourselves to that this year? Or Nintendo being like, we don't have a lot to show compared to those other two, or whoever else, let's just, let's just skip it. We don't have to do it. The other thing I want to touch on is this got me thinking and I think from the games media side of Twitter and some of the publishers of the devs that I follow, I think the thing that everyone is lamenting the most is like, hey, this was E three was a time where I got to meet all of my team, or I got to meet these people that I actually know, put names or faces to names, finally, like a game spot. There was a bunch of folks that I worked with that I've never seen. And I get to get to actually like, oh, shoot, I know you, what's up, dude? Type of things. And a lot of this type of thing, these interactions happen at paxes. But the problem with pax is there's east, there's west, south, which one do you go to? Which is the main one, or which is supposed to be the bigger one, but at E three, it always felt like this is the big event to go to where everyone will be here. So what I'm proposing folks, what I'm proposing here is we just have like something akin to a music festival, right? Where it's just like, hey, these two days, everyone in games. Just come by. We got hot dogs. You have to buy two of them at a time, though. To get across. And then like, you know, maybe some of not necessarily an award show or whatever, but like a festival. Backyard wrestling. Yeah. We could call the event the gathering? Yes. You know? It'll magical. There'll be lots of free beverages. Can we maybe get a phago sponsorship? Yeah. Honestly, we could, why don't we just partner up with a juggalos? Let's just ICP gaming. The juggalos in the gamers, together at last, let's fucking go. Like, hey, you know, I know kind of funny, does there showcase with smaller devs? Let's just get idiot everyone that wants to show something. Hey, you got a weird mobile game? Cool. You're on stage with Phil Spencer next. And it just seems like I think that is actually the sad part of all these folks that work so long in the industry or put in countless hours wanting to have that celebration at an E three, whether the game lands or doesn't land misses landing. Once we're getting delayed to oblivion, I guess that is like that moment for a lot of people to have that. And I think I am sad that a lot of folks won't have that moment of like, I made it to E three. I feel validated. Yeah, I think the thing that made E three different for me was you would like, we were supposed to be there. That's a big difference between this and GDC. GDC. It's like, that's the game developers conference, and I'm not a game developer. Come talk to me. And so I'm like encroaching on their space. E three is neutral ground. We are all meeting there on the same footing. And so when you go to the fig or something like that, it's not like, oh, okay, I got to try to make myself valuable here to someone like, here's why I'm here. And here's how I could be of use of your time. And maybe you'll get a story out of it. It's like the pressure there. It's a little bit gone. It's like, no, we're all just work today. And now we're all just taking it easy or, you know, we're hanging out and finally meeting up with friends. So it's much more likely that a game developer is just going to come up and talk to me at E three. And that happens so often. So many times where it's like, hey, I work on this. I work on that and I know you from this or that. And even they don't know me. It's like, well, what do you do? My games are journalists. We start talking. We hang out all night, and it's like, that happened multiple times, and it was like, cool, like, make friends that way. And learn a lot more about the industry from those conversations than you really do from just about anything else, like it's much, it's really kind of it's hard to overstate the value of all that. And we will maybe try to find ways in things for that to help it happen elsewhere. But I think it's going to be a little bit. A little bit less organic than it was at E three. Yeah. I don't find even with summer game fest still happening. I don't find that as like the replacement. Definitely something different. It's a different vibe completely. I'm not saying that summer game first last year was bad. It just, it felt different than what an E three normally felt like. And maybe that will that sentiment will change as the years go by, and if summer game fest continues to grow and grow, but yeah, it just felt different. It felt like a summer vacation rather than working the summer. That E three feels like. Yeah. We'll see what things look like going forward, but it's going to probably keep being a mess. I mean, we know this year that some companies have already started slotting into that time. Microsoft and ubisoft right now. So it's Microsoft with Bethesda stuff and then starfield on Sunday, and then ubisoft on Monday. I think I expect a lot of other companies that were considering E three to show up around that same time. One of them being Konami that was going to be just like, hey, we're going to be at E three. And so you're still going to do your show and now where's your stuff going to be? And it's like, do you just rush to a summer game fest? Well, probably not because Jeff keeling Konami after the whole kojima thing probably don't have that great of a relationship anymore. But maybe it's time to put that stuff behind you because what other choice do you have? Well, I guess I'll have to do their own. There's all these considerations. It's going to be a mess. We'll try to keep up with it though. Yeah, it is going to be a mess. It is going to be a mess. Let's spiral. It's always a bit of us. It's always been mess. And now it's the brand. It's the summer game mess. Look out for it, everybody. All right, so let's move along here. PSVR two projected to sell fewer than 300,000 units by the end of March. That was according to Bloomberg. Really, the number was around like 270 ish thousand units. This is below the other internal estimate that Sony was reportedly targeting this also came from Bloomberg a few months ago, and that number was 2 million. At least that's how many they were producing and planning to ship for this first period, this launch period.

"Everyone's right. I think E 3 may be dead because the name now just has a very, very poor connotation. I mean, with read top, I feel like pax has a very positive rep with published and publishes and devs, like they understand that, okay, packs, this is something really for the gaming audiences. We can really cater and build something towards them. We can just put something out that's already ready. A demo or just some type of booth, just goodies. But E three, I feel like I can't, I can't see too many folks running and clamoring to get back there. Especially in the world we live in now, grub where, you know, we have states of play. We have Nintendo directs every now and then. Microsoft is starting to pick up the pace and do their own thing now. I just can't see it justifiable world now where other than Achilles show that devs and publishers are rushing to get stuff ready for a big Ted pole thing when they can dictate the pace now. Yeah, I think you laid out exactly what happened here. This is a thing that just doesn't make as much sense anymore and I mean the big issue and again you mentioned this getting those assets ready is we say a game development is taking longer than ever, right? Games take longer than ever and that also extends to just getting assets ready for a show like this. Creating a demo is that is a 6 month disruption at best and it's like half a year of trying to get this thing together that is not necessarily going to contribute towards getting us towards a release date. So really we're elongating the entire process of making this game to make a demo. Hey, a lot of times that still makes sense. That's less and less frequently. And that's a true across the board for about every about every developer and publisher. So there's a lot of these, there's fewer games to even show up to these shows than ever. And even trailers, it's like, well, we'll just show a trailer or something. Those trailers are also very time intensive, even if they outsource them to outside companies. So I asked I asked about this in the last year kind of like leading up to the C three and trying to figure out like, oh, that's Sony showcase that was supposed to happen late last year. Well, it didn't, because a lot of developers weren't ready. And it's because even trailers can take a very long time and distract development teams. And those distractions are more costly than ever in a world where games take 5, 6, 7 years to actually get out the door. So that's not the entire lifeblood of E three, but it's a huge part of the thing that a Reed pop could have sold. It was a huge reason why a lot of us pay attention and why a lot of us go. The other side of it is this business B2B sort of making deals. And that has obviously shifted over a long period of time because when it started, it was, hey, Walmart target a handful of other big stores, send in their buyers. And they would talk to all these publishers to these publishers. And why them and dying them and say, here's why our new system is the biggest thing why you have to have it in our new games, all these games you guys can buy a million copies of all these games because that is how the business worked. It was, and that's why pre orders were so important. And now we're just in a completely different world where the next $1 billion game is almost certainly not going to be the next new one. It's not going to be some game that you pre order. It's going to be some game that came out of nowhere on early access on steam and completely completely doesn't involve any buyer whatsoever because it's an entire digitized process. And so that side of E three has made sense for a very long time. But there was still like magic happening there where people would come together and deals would get made to bring games to platforms and to unlock indie darlings and take them to the next level and to show off those indie darlings in front of people for the first time like an Ori and the will of the wisps or whatever but blind force, excuse me. It's like, oh man, you guys see that game. You see that game E three could definitely do that better than almost any other show because so many companies were coming there, but it's just, it doesn't make a lot of sense anymore. And people have said that for so long, that isn't new news. But here we are and we're on the we're on the other side of it now. We really are. Yeah, and I mean, I know that we poke fun at the one Sony press conference that Jeff Beck Clara absolutely hated where they shuffled game journalists and other people in games media from room to room. And I know you and Mike had a very positive experience with it. And we loved it. But I'm just imagining now. Months and months of lead up to try and produce that show to get all those puzzle pieces to line up. And this is now outside of the game development aspect, right? Yes. A lot of the last of the stuff could have already been produced or those assets could have been ready. But then now you're talking about putting on what is ostensibly a live show that is not your prototypical standing in front of an audience. This is like trying to be a curated experience almost an escape room for Jeff baccala type of sense of show, which is not easy by any means. Because that's expensive. It's expensive. And I think I don't know if the big publishers like Nintendo, Microsoft, Sony, let's throw an EA, maybe a ubisoft as well. I don't think they want to factor in that spending into their budgets anymore. They don't. And I think that's the story of what kind of happened with Sony is Sean laden. An American, someone who'd been going to E three for a long time. It was solved. E three is a worthwhile investment and worth all this cost. And then Sony's like looking around, I'll just not too long after, and they're like, hey, we can probably save a lot of money. Like, who's good at cutting costs? And Jim Ryan rises to the top, and they really, they cut a lot of those big executives, not no longer at Sony. Andy house, Sean laden, a whole bunch of others, and it's like, okay, they all left. And they have really scaled back their presence at a show like that. And instead they're doing things much more cheaply. They're not even doing PlayStation the PlayStation experience PSX anymore. It seems like they just kind of their events team mostly just scaled that entirely back, and it's like that probably saved them a lot of money. And it's a good company that's very interested in pinching pennies because the money that the profit that PlayStation makes is the most important thing to Sony as a corporation and it's like, it was probably a very easy decision to be like, hey, E three, that is an expense, what value do we get out of it that we can't get from other things much more cheaply? None. It's probably the honest cold answer. And I think that's not exactly like 100% true. I think there was a value to these companies coming to the same space and showing things off at the same time against one another, but that competition obviously I think bolstered everybody and brought everybody higher and really brought more attention to the industry overall. And that was the real value of E three, but that is a hard thing to sell to a company that's trying to save money. They're like, that's not in our interest. That has nothing to do with what our shareholders are investing in us for. We got to worry about our own. And it's like in that world, E three was always doomed to end up exactly here. Yeah, and I mean, even here on this website, the conversations after E threes have gone by, it's like, hey, who had the better showing? Who felt the most? Like they had the strongest presence.

"Right, maybe coming soon. We're working on the title by curious. Because we support has to be the name now. Oh man. If we had a designer that could block that up for us, that'd be great. Oh, man, that's very good. I'm just gonna hit Photoshop after this on the plane and just be good for the to do list. Okay, so all right, let's get a working list real quick, grab. So for swords, hey, I never had a bunch of friends that had their game boys in a GameCube to want to play that. That's something I've always wanted to check out. I guess payday too? Siege is on the list? I've never played phasmophobia. I wanted to play phasmophobia at some point. Yeah, yeah, I can get it to that again. Yeah. Yeah. Let's see. There's I'm going through like the most played on steam and see how they pops out. It might be fun to do something like arma, like arma three, that's so realistic. I don't know, maybe we'll see. I feel like it's a unique, unique vibe will get, 'cause I feel like you and I are generally down, but then Dan is the wild card, and then baccala is like, what do I gotta do this? Yeah. I don't wanna know. This doesn't seem like it would go well with my craft beer. You guys aren't playing right. What are you doing? All right, okay, that's all right. Well, we got more content in the pipes than cheese. Cool. Well done. Folks, something that will be game of the week very, very soon. Will be Nintendo world. I very much looking forward to it grub. I love theme parks. Yeah, me too. I hope the process goes smoothly and that we're able to do all the things. I hope we can eat at the toad cafe. So it does seem like we'll have to get the app. This is what I'm going to look this stuff up to be sure. But since we got to get the app and we all got to get up at the same time at like 6 in the morning. When things open, yeah, that's fine. And then we just get on the app and all right, we're trying to overall trying to get reservations at the same time. And then whoever can get it and get it for all of us or whatever. But yeah, I mean, ideally, that'd be great. And we'll just go and whenever our time is for that. And because I want to eat there. I remember seeing that at the Japanese one. It's got this looks amazing. I have to go to this zone. I don't want to miss out. I really hope. I really hope that you know what, I'm not going to try and set expectations. Just because I don't want to be disappointed. I still think it'll be really fun. And I can't wait to buy Mario and or Luigi hats. Or a toad hat if they have it. Yeah, I'm bringing some bringing some cash and leave us a room in the suitcase. That's the plan. We got those kids. I got to get some stuff for. Also, Jay, waterworld, I want to see that thing. You're stalking that. Have you never seen it? I've never seen it. Oh my God. Okay. All right. I've seen it. I've seen the Indiana Jones one at Disney and my coach yells at my camera, which one, the Indiana Jones ones there. But I've seen that, and I love that stunt show. That was incredible. It was one of my favorite things, and then everyone's like, water world's even better. So I have to see that. Oh, grub. You and Dan will eat it up. I think so. It is the most you and Dan thing I can think of. In terms of stage. If Dan riker were to make a musical, it would just be the water world show at Universal Studios. All right. Folks, apologies again. It's going to be a shorter show across the board, but grub and I didn't know what it is. We're going to bring you the two man para trip. We're going to keep giving you the good juice. There's not going to be a word Doc this week. It'd be unfettered chaos. Because I don't know when I'd be back around to stop it. And I can't let you hooligans keep going unchecked. Eventually, it starts out okay, and it gets worse and worse over time. And it's like, if you just let that grow forever, that could turn into like a Skynet like AI that destroys everything. Yeah, I keep getting emails, say, hey, you want to allow this script in this Google Doc. And I'm like, I don't know. Sure. Right, yes. Scariest thing on the Internet. You can read, do you want to allow this script, these macros? What? Someone's mining crypto out of words. All right, folks, we're going to take a quick break and then Jeff grubb will be back with the news and then after that, we got a handful of emails to get to. And we'll see you just a bit. This episode is brought to you by better help. Y'all ever discover stuff about yourself that you were surprised by? Was it like a Phoenix down moment where you had some self awareness to something deep inside of you? Wasn't it? Good to finally get that out? Homies. "Based off of the cast though grub, it feels like, are they trying to appeal to a boomer shooter audience? Just because this feels like the weirdest, weirdest grouping of people. Yeah, I mean, it feels like in a, like one of those sim games where it's like, okay, you have a certain budget, and you have a certain and here's all the people that you can go out and hire, to be on your team to make this thing for the sim game. And it's like, okay, the budget I have, I can get or like one of those card get lists, this games that people post on Twitter. It's like, all right, you have $15 here are the people that are worth $5 for four, three, two, one. Okay. And it's like they had like $7. And instead of like getting any $5 person, they just got all these one and two, and it's like, okay, and we're gonna build and that is gonna be what we build the entire game around because that's $7 is also the budget that we had for making the game. So it's strange, but it's also, I think they thought this was just a strategy of, well, a celebrity name is better than no name, and maybe Jim, maybe they aren't wrong because this game was featured at The Game Awards, right? Yeah. And I think because it adds celebrities in it, 'cause Jeff Keeley loves celebrities, so it's like, was that a good investment? And maybe I guess, I don't know. I don't know. I don't know. 'cause I think the only celebrity here that I have mixed feelings towards is Chuck Norris. I hear the vanilla ice can be a piece of work sometimes. I'm looking at all these promotional materials right now, grub of crime boss rocky city and without the whole cast featured. There's always a tiny Kim Basinger, like she's never full size with any of the other people. She's always super teensy. She's like, she's like, they're tinkle. A tinkerbell, yeah. There we go, yeah. Tinkle bell. 5 podcasts. That's me when I'm a little my fairy wings. That's Danny Trejo, actually. He's tinkle tinkle bell. Yeah, I don't know, like the bits of writing that we were able to hear and see, it's just like y'all could work on pacing because they're working from different scripts, it sounds like. Michael Matson and Michael rooker will go back and forth. And the tones are mismatched. And like, that's happening. I'm like, that's like the 5th worst thing that's happening right now. But it also is really bad. And all the whole thing just feels really cynical. We also noticed the audio mixing on the dialog too. Is it feels off? Like Michael rooker and maybe that's Michael rooker's always going for it. He's incapable of not putting his whole ass into acting, which I appreciate. I like Michael. I love it. But one of your handler characters has a very deep voice. And just like tonally, it just sounds so mismatched that it's a little jarring. And I guess that I guess that could be tightened up with some quick editing, but yeah, but this doesn't feel like the kind of game where you're there are going to get around to that level of fix. Where it's like, okay, that does it work. Can people hear it if they're actually trying to turn up their TV? I guess so. It sounds really muddy and bad 'cause this guy's just on the super low register and it seems to give everything tuned for all these other characters that are talking at a much higher and more typical register. And so it's like his voice lines just get all chewed up and no one can hear it and it's well, but they can hear it though, right? So then let's go work on these other things. I think that's this seems like one of those games. I don't think this gets any major overhauls. They probably just fix a few major bugs and call it a day and move on from this thing. You know, you brought up grub like this game needs a celebrity attached to it, but I think we talked about on UPF, didn't the payday games do gangbusters in terms of sales? Like, did they sell stupid well? Yeah, they're huge, huge successes. Yes, absolutely. So I wouldn't be like, why even why even try and loop in celebrities if this is pretty much a similar format to those games, unless they just, you know, they had the engine and wanted to make an extra buck or something. I mean, I think it's back in the 80s, like the cheapest special effect was nudity where it's like, you know, your cheap special effects are nudity and violence, right? We can't be terminator two, but what we can do is have way more boobs than terminator two did and that's what we'll do and that's how we'll get picked up on skin and max eventually or something like that. I think this is kind of what they're thinking here in a similar sort of way. It's like, we can't really compete with paid. We can make a similar game, sure. But we'll be getting notice. Well, maybe we'll get noticed if we have celebrity, and not that that's like a cheap special effect, but I think it might be cheaper than what we're expecting. In terms of like making a good game, like compared to like putting all the effort into making a great game and then all the work it would take to get that noticed, maybe it is just cheaper to cut a check to Michael Matson and have him promote the game. It's still very, because again, I don't think it's like people are like, oh man, finally, the Michael Matson fan community is getting fed. It gets more like, what? Why the hell is he up there talking about video games and then that's what gets people talking, but it still is like somewhat effective because here we are. So I was under the impression the whole time, the folks that developed crime boss was the same developers payday, but that doesn't seem to be the case. No, no, this is a whole other studio. Yes, this is like trying to rip off the concept, yes. Well, they completely ripped this off. This feels like a direct to DVD bargain. Yeah, it feels like the asylum. The asylum version of it. Yeah. Oh my gosh. Okay, hold on, I'm gonna do in game studios is the name of the development team. So currently, Jeff,

"Pass, rocket city. This doesn't feel good, Greg. No, I mean, it's a bad game that's bad and just about but it's the game we played together and it was the new one of the week and it is a new release and I guess people are going to be curious because this game made an effort to get attention and the ways it did that was not necessarily by producing a quality game product. It was let's slap together something that feels like payday and it's reminiscent of a few days. You know, it's not necessarily like a full campaign or anything, let's just make it a rogue lite and then let's get Kim based as your Danny Glover Danny Danny Trejo Michael rooker Michael Madsen and a handful of other celebrities to just be on the cover and actually star in the game and do a bunch of voice work at the very least. Michael Matson is in there the most Michael rooker is in there like the second most and then you get a sprinkling of some of these other. Although I've not seen Danny Glover yet when we were playing, we never saw Danny Glover, right? No. It was primarily those two a sprinkling of vanilla ice a dash. That's right. Kim Basinger, and then the soft implications of a Chuck Norris popping off. Folks. Yeah, please be careful of that folks. You know, throw away that container. You don't need to check the expiration date. I think that's a good indicator of what this game is. You know, the audio was breaking when you were playing the game at least in Chuck Norris popped up at first and we saw him. But we didn't hear what he was saying. I've since looked into this, they are doing some like Chuck Norris jokes. So it's like, that is humor from we are talking 15 years ago at a generous generously that's 15 years ago, I think. That is rough. That's the level that they're going for here. And they're not even really pulling that off well. It's a mess. Okay, time playing it with you, even though even when it was breaking, even when it was weird. It's like I had a shooting is fine. Like the guns work and the missions are kind of like, really, really just slimmed like it is, we're gonna start you outside the building, walk in the building, do the thing with the safe, get the stuff put in the van and go. And it's like a very condensed and I'm almost like, I almost feels worried aware issue where it's like, here's a microgram version of this. All right, let's go, but it's not, it's never a good game. It's never done well. I'm just like, I'm having fun with my friend Jan. Yeah, if folks are at all curious about checking out grub and I play this the last UPF grub and I played a good chunk of crime boss rocket city. We did some co op missions and then we eventually dipped into the campaign. And again, like, hey, I fully recognize and admit that there will be parts of our own capture setup that goes wrong where sometimes stuff will get delayed or video quality is a completely indicative of the game. Here though, folks, there were straight up moments to where the game was running in single digit frames. And just audio not playing for whatever reason? And the framerate was happening. You were the one streaming it. Yes. I was streaming anything at that time. I don't think. And I was getting single digit frame rates, and the way I could tell it was with the game is you were seeing me manifest at single digit frames. I think the game was just trying to keep us in sync and failing. And it was, it was unplayable for me. It was 5 literally 5 frames per second. And it would just happen intermittently with no explanation, no rhyme or reason to it. The game was just breaking. And then those cutscenes would come up and we were like, is it the HDCP as it is? A streamer mode, maybe. Streamer mode, yeah, and so we looked into it. No, it's just the game's broken. Yeah. And even in the cutscenes where the game would be playing the audio, maybe it was like a pre rendered or an in engine cutscene actually versus a pre rendered joint. There would still be an obscene amount of texture pop in happening. Yes. A lot of popping. At first, we thought there's a shot of where Michael rooker's talking to Michael Madsen. And we're like, oh, it's the background blurry for stylistic purposes. Are they trying to go for like the dramatic depth of field thing going on? And then the next shot, we see Michael rooker's background pop in. It's like, it was like, and they were going for a bokeh effect, but it was much more subtle than the entire background is a smeared blur. Which is what it looked like. And every time that we saw that scene a couple of times because again, roguelike, it did the same thing every time. So again, this just feels unoptimized and the game feels unpolished on every level. Yeah, folks, if you're, I haven't ever really checked out a payday game, but based off of the loop of this, this is aping that complete formula. If you're a fan of paid age, stick to payday. Yeah. Because I can't say to anything quality of life wise or any improvements that anyone has said about this game, and actually I'd also say the voice performances from these celebrities, the kind of hurt the game more than anything. I feel bad. I still get my mom losing my voice a little bit. So when I talk about consultative struggle, it's like imagine that, but maybe amped up a hundred for Michael Matson, who's just his entire voice has been shot for life at this point. And not that, okay, so we shouldn't get work. He should, but it's like when the performance is a bit strained because of that. And then, I mean, listen, I never heard any of the lines vanilla ice delivery because the game was breaking. But I'm sure those are great. I'm sure those are fine. Yeah.

"I'm Nathan Johnson and in today's episode, I want to talk about Jesus being the great shepherd. Let's dive in. Over the last several weeks, we've been walking through some of the I am statements of Jesus in the book of John. They are so rich and just profound to me. Especially when we realize that every single one of these I am statements wasn't something that Jesus Jesus just said, 2000 years ago, rather these are the present reality of who he is still today and who he's going to continue to be into eternity. In the last episode, we were talking specifically about Jesus being the gate or the door of the sheep. And I would encourage you to go back and listen to that because I was laying the foundation for where I went ahead today. But let me pick up from the passage in John chapter ten where we left off in the last episode. Jesus is talking a bit again about this idea of him being a gate, the door of the sheep, that is through him that the shoot find life and Salvation. And then Jesus makes a statement in John ten ten. I'll start reading from that point. Jesus says the thief comes only to steal to kill and destroy, I came that they may have life and have it abundantly. I am the good shepherd. The good shepherd lays down his life for the sheep. He who is a hired hand and not a shepherd, who is not the owner of the sheep, sees a wolf coming and leaves the sheep and flees. And the wolf snatches them and scatters them. He flees because he's a hired hand, and is not concerned about the sheep.

"And Frank, I love that you are expressing this because I talk about this every day on my show. I almost every day on my show. And I speak about the lackluster approach from some people who are administered and they don't hold people accountable. You know, they want to tell the feel good story. Everything is nice in his roses and everything is, you know, sweet and being with God, you don't have to do anything. You just sit around and you just say because in your mind, you had a thought. Instead of saying, you have a purpose. You're not here just to play around and just sit around and do nothing. You want to be the hands and feet. You are to be active, your faith is an action word. And you know, I love the fact that you say those things and you bring up the fact that men are in need of changing. And when I say changing, meaning that we can speak to them and help men become better and be the best version of themselves and also not interject thoughts into men's minds that make them cowards that tell them that they have this concept of toxic masculinity. And Frank, can you speak to that a little bit because I know that you see it, you know, in your ministry, you deal with me and you can see that there's some elements that you have to overcome with this concept of toxic masculinity. Brandon, you served us in law enforcement for a number of years. You see, there is a rule of law. And now these days, you see that kind of going away. There's a battle going on here and to address your question when it comes to men, I never thought in my life I would ever wake up on a day where society would say there's really no such thing as male or female. The whole gender thing, this is my 15 year old son is being raised in this culture. So I'm absolutely believe men don't even know what it means these days to be a man. My son sees no male role models and culture. So I know as a man, God made me as a man to follow. I'm a Christian to follow Jesus. And I don't want to go along on that one, but part of what the church teaches in Jesus, I think, is a soft Jesus. Jesus was a warrior. He challenged their religious elite. He turned over the money changers. So we're not necessarily just a Christian ministry. We want guys that don't know anything about who they are or who got is. We bring all walks of life in. But we show them a real man, God makes us a certain way. We're wired to be protectors and leaders, have our feet to the fire and step out. But Brandon, my concern is, I think most men have been taken off the battlefield, and they don't even know who the enemy is.

"Yeah. Go ahead if you're there. Well, there's two comments. Oh man, who was this Peter Ellis, John 17, is this beautiful symmetry. It has 7 parts. There's 7 movements to the prayer. And the way each one of them relates is really amazing. But the opening and closing movements, movements one and 7 both have a statement of GSS awareness of his pre incarnation form. And in the first movement, he has this line where he says father glorify me with yourself with the glory I had with you before the world existed. So he's remembering a state of unity with the father of glory, luminescence. Yeah. Matching that is in the last movement of the prayer. It's actually the last line. Father I want those who believe in me whom you give in me to be with me, where I am, so they may see my glory, which you've given me because you loved me before the creation of the world. So he remembers a state of eternal unity and glory and love. And that's what we get. Yeah, and it's so profound. And in the birth canal. Before creation, behind this whole universe is a unified community of eternal love. That's the claim. Being made here. So remarkable. Yeah, and Jesus Jesus reveals that and the way he reveals that in that prayer is he'll say things like I have manifested your name just, yes, that's right, the name. If you can read, if you had exposure to even a single book of your Hebrew Bible, you know what God's name is. I mean, good grief you've heard the exodus three, burning bush story. Since you were a kid. You know that God revealed his name, you know how it spelled. You know, you're not supposed to say it. Out loud. So that isn't what Jesus is talking about. He's not saying, hey, I'm here and everybody gather around. Here's what God's name is. You know, I'm going to spell it correctly. No, when he says I have manifested your name. You know, I have manifested your name to the men whom you gave me out of the world that's John 17 6. It's another way of saying something else, John says, in the same gospel that he that has seen me has seen the father. You know what God is like, you know, who God is. And especially, you know, just the whole love element. Of how Jesus represented that in his life. You know what you need to know about God because you have seen me. You've lived with me and I've lived with you. And it's not just I did a good job, you live in the way I should in front of it. So maybe back to our earlier. He carried about that. Carried the name faith he bore the name faithfully. But more than that. But more than that, but let's start there. He carried the name faithfully like Israel was called to do the failed to do. And the name was given to him. And again, that language again is going to take a Jewish person back to what we're hearing that in the Old Testament somewhere. Yeah, it was. Because he doesn't say I carried your name, he said, I revealed. The name was already revealed. What do you mean? Interesting. I revealed it. Yeah. I am the revealing of the name. So the Israelites were supposed to carry the name in the sense of B gods priests. The angel was given the name. The name was put in him. Which is another, it's another phrase. It's not carrying the name. It's actually being put the name in him, which is much more intimate. You see that man out there, that's me. It's a way to say I am in there. Now you can tell I'm here because I'm appearing to you in a discernible form. And then what does Jesus say? He says, what's the phrase he uses about the name? Father protect them by the power of your name. The name you gave me. By your power, it's not a power that's distinct from God. It's his power. The name you gave me. So the name was given to Jesus. I think for sure that's a reference back to exodus 23. My name is angel. Jesus says the name that you've given to me. Yeah, that's the similar language that that's going to be floating around in their frame of reference. How is this consistent with what God is revealed already? Oh, okay, I remember where he used that language before. So many people can carry the name, only one figure in the Hebrew Bible has the name in them, such

"Don't fight it. Don't faint from the battle so you miss the blessing. It's here. It's now. You are more than you've become yet. God is not through with you yet. Yeah, it made it through the waters yet to even see the Egyptians drown all get to the other side. God is not through. Stop making excuses. And exchange it for. The expectation of greater grace. Father, we have been taught today by your spirit. What good is it to be taught, what we will not walk in? I bring each and every man woman boy and girl that you put under the sound of my voice for this hour. I bring them and place them in your capable hands. We are the bread you desire to multiply. We are like the staff that parts waters when the master touches it. So, we want to ask you first of all, lord. That you would help us to see. Where we've been so comfortable being stuck. That we have cut down what you were trying to use to grow us. And we admit we've done it from time to time. We keep on doing things in the short term that long-term hurt us. Well, that's what your grace is for. Because we're learning now. And we're changing now. And it's different now. Because this time, we're not doing it in the strength that we have. Apart from you. We're leaning into your strength, your power, your supply. We're going to call the name of Jesus this week. We're going to do it right now. Get some practice. Jesus Jesus. Jesus. Jesus helped me deal with this. Jesus, help me. I got this meeting Tuesday, Jesus. I got this all searches. I keep I keep on going back to the doctor. They don't even know what's wrong Jesus Jesus. Help me get out of worry. Help me not play it out again and again in my mind and make it worse. Jesus Jesus Jesus, Jesus, help me resist that temptation. God, I can't do it in my own strength. I keep on giving in to it, but I believe you're calling me to stand up. Stand up. In the name of Jesus stand up. In the name of Jesus, throw it off, put it off. Lord, we've been some of us, we've been in a certain struggle a long time. But before the struggle ever was, you knew who we were. I speak to the spirit of every man and woman today. I speak to the truest part of them. The part of them that is wrapped in love and called by God. And I admonish you in. I lift you up to the father. And I remind you that he knew the plants he had for you. Before you did. He knew the pain would be bad. And he promised that the power would be greater. He knew you'd be here. Listen to me, listen to me. He knew you'd be here. He knew you were gonna screw that thing up, and he loved you and he called you anyway. He knew you would feel abandoned and let down. He called you anyway. That's why he said, even if your father and mother closest friend forsake you, the lord will take you up. He is able to sympathize with our weaknesses. He is able to be touched by the feeling of your infirmity. He really knows you. He really sees you. He really called you. He really tells you and he is not through with you, yet don't fight it. Welcome in. Welcome. Holy Spirit do a new work in my life. I welcome it. Don't reject it. Don't stop repeating the mistakes 'cause you refuse to believe you deserve a blessing. Welcome it. God wants to bless you. He wants to heal you. He wants to keep you receiving. Don't call on him and then resist him. He's coming right now. Stop thinking about lunch. Goddess here. You prayed you asked him, give me a sign. It's gonna be all right. And he sent me to tell you, I know the plans I have for you. He's not through with you. Yet. Thank you for joining us. "As noted before, too criminals were crucified alongside Jesus, one of these criminals joins in the mockery, so you're the messiah, are you? Prove it by saving yourself at us. Two while you're at it. The other criminal protests don't you fear God? Even when we've been sentenced to die, we deserved to die for our crimes, but this man hasn't done anything wrong. Then this criminal pleads with Jesus. Jesus remember me when you come into your kingdom. Jesus promises that he will. I assure you, today, you will be with me in Paradise. "I'm talking to J Warner Wallace as the Eric metaxas show, go to my website, Eric metaxas dot com, sign up for the newsletter so we can send you all of these interviews because you want them and because you want to share them with your Friends, Jay Warner Wallace, what should we talk about in our final moments together today? Well, I just want to encourage people that all of us have the ability to make a case for Jesus. This is not something that's unusual. I mean, scripture shows us. This is the kind of casemaker Jesus was. I mean, think about it. After the resurrection and acts one, it says that Jesus spent 40 additional days with the disciples, giving them many and depending on the translation and convincing proofs. That's the Greek where we use for evidence. Now, they put that for a second. He's just resurrected from the grave. Do you think I really need more evident apparently? Jesus is going to give me 40 days more of evidence. Now that's an evidential approach so that even when John the Baptist has got doubts and sends his disciples, Jesus, he wants to know Jonathan, are you the one? If you're Jesus, are you a little upset with that? You're thinking to yourself, really, John, your cousin, who baptized me, who saw the spirit of God really? You have doubts. You want to tell you what? Go back and tell John, what you just saw. Any cites the miracles he had worked in front of John's disciples. That's a very evidential approach. I think that what we're doing Eric is you and I are writing books that I think are important to the church even right now at a time when the church doesn't know how important they are. There's an entire generation who wants to know not just what is true, but please tell me why you think it's true. Because this is what the culture is doing. The culture is making claims about all kinds of things and saying they're based in evidence are based in science. Yet you religious folks, you want us to believe this stuff blindly. That was never the request of Jesus. Jesus would testimony in the first century in the book of X is not your personal experience with Jesus or how he changed your life. Go read the book of X, it's the eyewitness accounts of their

Oh that's the thing you have to show a little bit of shorts though has to be like a like. At least you could see that. It's layered it doesn't every shirt on you end up doing that. "Saw. Jesus jesus said me too many really really meant it like nothing fucking felt shameful or horrific or painful. That happened anyone like the deepest shameful thing that he did not experience himself. And that's why you can actually like leave all that. Shame behind me. Because he took on all of that so yeah the the me too isn't just like yeah. You know whatever. I i you know i got cut up to and fell in bruce my knee when i was a kid and you know i had to deal with with peer pressure. No it's it's like every last torture that you can ever imagine every piece of flesh being ripped off your body like all of that. Yeah and i had also in that. In the meditation he gave me a across and on the cross was inscribed me too is like a reminder like something is there was a message like i need to remember this so when i get lost in my own you know self-reproach my own self judgment to remember like you know as as all of us because if you embrace the totality of everything you know like christ consciousnesses. It's the all it's the divine. And of course i'm putting some of my own beliefs in here. We'd have slightly different beliefs but after. Yeah that's why we highlander. Done but fundamentally i understood and that was like a beautiful reminder to me like me to ensue removed all that judgment but then the cross itself was a really powerful symbol. That i haven't really connected with. Because i've almost taken it as just a signifier of your belief in christianity understood that there is that moment before you know when he knew he was going to be crucified. And he's still said yes you know but he was going through at that night. I mean you read about it. God why have you forsaken me right. There was like feeling of abandonment. Like a why. Is this my path. Where i'm bloody tears right like. But he's still said yes and there was this amazing courage and so to me. That cross was reframed in my own. Mind at least like holy shit. That is a fucking symbol of ultimate courage to say yes to no matter what life throws at you right and just be like okay is is a symbol of courage and up to a certain point was basically be if you were to get cross tattooed on you the equivalent of getting like an electric chair or a noose tattooed on you. It's like why the hell would you envisage a frigging curse sign of murder. It's a sign of death. Not only that a sign of like the worst death that that the worst criminal would be given like even. I believe it was cicero. Who wrote how it was the most horrific death imaginable crucifixion. Why would anybody wanna get something like that tattooed or like put on the door of a church or something like that but now it no longer means that now it means now it means courage now. It means complete setting aside of shame. Now it means a new heaven and a new earth and it's like the this symbol that went from being a curse to being a blessing that went from being the most horrific thing imaginable to being the most glorious promise available in so yeah had like the cross something different now than i think it was before jesus and Yeah a super powerful symbol. Now yeah as we go through this conversation that we're starting to make a lot of different different categories of things that once they're fulfilled. You'd live this rich rich life. I mean we've talked about community and we've talked about these meditative practices in connection to nature and then the rituals the rights of passage that your children read through the you know. Then everything that you're about. But then also this kind of belief in this distinct belief that you have in everybody's belief doesn't have to be the same but really walking the walk of that belief. Not just kinda intellectually kind believing but like really living living in your belief in that deeply fulfilling and then having your belief and then your purpose and then everything woven together and guiding principles like live like you're gonna live forever. You've painted this beautiful picture in this show of really kind of a formula for living a life that's as rich as can possibly be lived and giving the opportunity to turn this life into into heaven. Obviously tim ferriss show and he said if you gonna make a billboard you know put one thing onto the billboard. What would it be like well. It'd be welcome to heaven population. Everyone you know like like here. We are everybody like. Here's a here. We got it like here. We got it. We're gonna make it that or not. You know this. This is a choice we have right and and and it does really come back down to that foundational principle that that was pretty much the essence of jesus and that was love other people. Slow the people like an end. It sounds so simple but once you start to frame everything that you do in the day including the way that you build your business right coming live in touch. How many people are you gonna love. You know at the end of the day. The budget does have to be attended to. But we'll take care of itself if the bottom line is is how many people can reach people. Can we all. How many people can we love. And it's the same with our personalized to like. Just this idea of not living selfishly. Not grasping at straws. Because you have that confidence that you're gonna live forever. And then knowing that with that life like the very best thing you can do is just go out and love other people and loving other people means loving the planet. It means loving. God it means loving yourself right but but it's all a lot more larry between all those things when we try to pretend we think. Oh this is me and my house in the news my neighbors and my it's like we make separations between this or my mind and my body.

"This is such a such a key verse. Also for god was in christ not counting. Our sins against us reconciling the world to himself and then he says he has given us the ministry this message of reconsiliation not message of condemnation or torture or destruction but a message of reconciliation. This is even the whole underlying you know point of the new covenant that jesus proclaims is that god says that in his new covenant he will know he will remember our sins no more so. This is how god has dealt with the sins. Our sins forgiven them. Which is exactly what you and i do right when somebody wrongs us. I don't say well i'm gonna need payment. You're going to have to do something now to pay me back end if i did. Demand some sort of a payment cast what. That's not forgiveness. I haven't really forgiven you freely. I've been paid back. You owed me something. And i got paid. That's not forgiveness but again that's embedded in the penal substitution view of the atonement. His holiness has been insulted or you know in some ways offended by our sinfulness and and he demands payment and jesus says the payment jesus suffering and death on the cross is the payment that must be paid to god or justice or whatever it happens to be and then when that satisfied now kotkin lows forgiveness. Well that's not forgiveness. He got paid he was owed money or he was debt and he got paid the debt. You don't you don't get to see you. Forgive the debt if you got the check in the mail from all these things they just don't fit with these ideas of what we really do. Seeping proclaimed by jesus by the apostles throughout early church history for about fifteen hundred years that this is what god had done out had through christ forgiven. He just freely forgave us. And because of that. We're supposed friendly. Forgive as well right. It's so interesting too. Because this idea of god's wrath than therefore are righteous anger and wrath It really plays out into the criminal justice system into how he decided to punish people even by death which is just a strange projection. We you know thinking that god is full of anger and wrath at our transgressions when you point out human wrath killed jesus jesus innocent man that got murdered who got absorbs our revenge in our and our hatred and our anger and our wrath and then goes to the grave and then defeats it in resurrection. I think it's so interesting. We become who we worship when we worship and have idea that god is is hateful wrathful than we just treat people that way. I guess people would might say okay. Well was jesus doing on the cross. What was across about then. What is happening. When jesus dies on the cross did it have to happen. Couldn't god have just forgiven and not had the sign of the cross and you explain this a bit in the book but maybe you could give people a taste of what you were speaking about. Yeah because it is such a key question isn't it. You know. I get this all the time. Why did jesus how to die. Quite what people will ask me that question. Why did jesus have to die. I'll i'll say what are you have to die well because immortal. I'm human yes exactly because as you mentioned lisa you know in the book. I point out that You know the indian carnation. I think we have to back it up but we have such a tight focus on the cross the crucifixion. We have to pull back a little bit. Pull the paul focus back a little bit..

"We helped we serve but let me tell you something all that comes from the lord. I'm nothing without him going. Okay pastor like i get it you want me to serve. If you thought this was just just trying to convince you to serve. You missed it. I had a lot of scripture. I'm trying to show you that. Jesus is greatest. Desire for you. And i is that we would humble ourselves and take on the role of a servant. Okay i get it faster. But i have real problems like i. Don't think you understand like your pastor all your world like i got real issues real bills. I got real problems with my marriage got problems. Kids got problems with my family. I got i got problems. Health issue. you don't understand. Let me tell you something if you thought this was just for church. I'm telling you you missed it. Can i tell you if you want to change married couples. If you want to change your marriage right now like yes. Go get counseling. We get counseling. it's awesome and yes. Lean into like relationship and all those things. But can i tell you a game changer for me and my wife and a game changer. If you do this it's real simple but it's really profound. If you do this you take this advice to your marriage man sir. Here's what you do. Here's we do this week. I dare you just go like this. Take a posture of of simply going into every single relationship. Whether it's your marriage your boyfriend girlfriend your your your family and just ask the question. How can i serve you today to go home and serve your spouse watch. What does that will change everything. I'm telling it will change everything if you don't know what she wants. Just ask her and after she liked wakes up she passes out like a baby. It's okay i got you. She's going to say okay. Here's what i need from you. You wanna change a career. I don't care how much talent you have you go in to your boss's office this week and simply say how can i serve you. How can add value to you. What is it that your problem. What problems do you have that. I can actually help with you. Start asking your boss and don't do it so you can just like get ahead do it. Because you genuinely want to serve your boss and be christ like an show the love of jesus to someone that may or may not know god. I'm telling you if you do that. You will seek god move and if you don't if you just go off your talents alone but you have an entitled attitude and pride let tell you something you'll never get promoted matter of fact talent will get you in the room tell might even get you the job but it's humility and a servant's heart that will keep you in that role. Your job is to serve. My job is to serve question have you have you felt far from god this week. Have you felt like you haven't gotten a word from god and while here's what you need to ask ought to. God what can i do for you today. Maybe maybe just maybe he wants you to honor him with your time. Maybe you're too busy doing things he never asks you to do. Hello maybe this week would be the week that you go. You know what. I'm not gonna not gonna go back to my old ways of going me. I who is the greatest in the kingdom they ask. Jesus jesus says if you want to be great become a servant if you wanna go hi in the kingdom go low will you this week. Take a posture of a servant. Will you take a moment and pray with me right now and just ask what areas of my life. Do i need to begin. Serving what relationships need to begin watering. What areas have been kind of self sufficient in thinking about me me me. Where do i need to ask the holy spirit's power and help to so you know what. Give me strength so i can serve that person that relationship that marriage that kid. Maybe it's a coworker. Maybe it's an old friend. Where do i need to go alot. So the god that you could be exalted higher if you do that watch what god does in through your life. Let's pray heavenly father. We thank you so much for today. Thank you for this church. I think you that we serve not because we're trying to earn your love but god you've already demonstrated that for us. I think you that we can only serve. Because it's your power living in us. So this morning. I pray right now. For for our church. I pray for renewed strength. I know some of us have been serving. We feel tired. God would remain a slower to take care of our souls not to work just unto you just flippantly but lord that we would remind ourselves of why we started in the first place. I think you for our church. We're such a generous church. I thank you for the holy spirit. That's empowering us to go into to plant more campuses into serve more families but we need more people if we're gonna reach. Everyone needs everyone. We need people to step up today to begin working in the nursery and to be serving to be serving our city in serving his life group leaders and leaders of ministry. There's more ministry to take place in the city. And i pray that you would embolden your church to be your hands and your feet god that we would show the love of jesus not just in our homes not just in our life groups but every single place. We go throughout our city. We love you jesus..

The God Who Suffers: How Far God Will Go for Man's Salvation

"The title of my message is the god who suffers when we think of god. We consider the fact that got us. Writers got his holy got his loving. And god is good. But here's something else to consider about. God as we focus on the death of jesus god has suffered. Why would anyone want to suffer if they didn't have to but he did suffer. I mean he didn't have to. He didn't want to but he chose to suffer. Listen to is as description of what jesus who was god in human form went through when he died on the cross in isaiah fifty three we read. He was despised and rejected by men. A man of sorrows and acquainted with grief. He is born our grief and carried our sorrows yet we esteemed him stricken smitten by god and afflicted. He was wounded for our transgressions. He was crushed for our iniquities. The punishment for our peace was upon him and by his stripes. We are. He'll he was a man of sorrows or suffering. That was jesus. But why did god suffer answer because he loved and he loves and that means it he enters into are suffering as well he enters into the suffering of those who've lost loved ones he enters into the suffering of any person who is in pain of some kind. You need to know that god cares. God understands god suffers. He understands what you are going through. So if you're going through any kind of suffering no this you're not alone. Jesus has been there and he's walked in your shoes. Listen to this passage in hebrews two. It says it was necessary for jesus to be meet in every respect like us. His brothers and sisters so he could be are merciful and faithful high priest before god and then he could opera sacrifice it would take with the sins of the people since he himself is gone through suffering. Mt sion is able to help us when we are being attempted. So you're saying. I'm being tempted right now. I'm going through hardships right now. I've been abandoned by people i love. Jesus has been there. He knows what it's like say. I've lost a loved one. He knows what that's like. So you're not alone and you're suffering but why did jesus have to suffer and die. Couldn't he have just expired. In a simple way to be scourged and beaten up the beard pulled from his face to the up to be insulted and mocked and ridiculed and humiliated. Why did he have to die. Such a cruel death. Listen to this because there was no other way dissatisfy. The righteous demands of god. God plays by his own rules and he said the soul that's in shows shirley die and the scripture teaches without the shedding of blood. There is no forgiveness of sins in the old testament when they would sacrifice by various animals. That was a foreshadowing of things that were to come. It's unlike the death of jesus was sort of added onto that. Dan rather was pointing toward the death. Of jesus jesus was the fulfillment of all of those sacrifices as john. The baptist said of christ. He's the lamb of god. Who takes away. The sin of the world. So jesus was the fulfillment of at all all of those things where foreshadowing something to come or i could more accurately say someone to come and that someone was jesus. Listen to this calvary shows how far men will go and sin and how far god will go for man's salvation limb repeat that cavalry or the cross shows how far men will go in their sin and also how far god will go for men salvation. Jesus knew he was going to die from the very beginning and he spoke of it often. No one took his life. He laid it down of his own accord. Jesus lived in the shadow of the cross. From the moment he entered the world. Sometimes people think across was sort of an aberration or tragic turn of events where everything sort of went off the rails. No that's not it at all if that was the plan. That was the master plan. Or should i say the master's plan i remember when i was a kid and i would watch movies about jesus and i was fascinated by jesus even as a young boy. My grandmother used to have a portrait of christ hanging on her wall. And i would just look at that many times then think about jesus and whenever there was a movie about him i would watch it with great interest and i was fascinated by him but i always thought the story ended battling are that someone should rewrite this story. You see because everything is going in a perfect trajectory here comes jesus born of the virgin mary. performing miracles healing people raising the dead doing wonderful things. The greatest teachings ever heard he has a group of followers and then he gets arrested on charges and he's crucified in. Yeah he rose but still. That's not good. I didn't like that story but that is the story. That is the greatest of all stories. That was the purpose he came for. But how can something so senseless and so cruel have any purpose answer. It was the ultimate purpose and it had the ultimate beanie god. The father was the master of ceremonies at the cross. Let me repeat that again god. The father was a master of ceremonies at the cross. Sometimes people like to place the blame of the death of jesus at the feet of the jews. They'll say the jews killed him sometimes used to justify anti semitism which is always wrong but it was the fault of the jews. It wasn't a fall in particular of the romans. Listen you want to get real technical. Theological god sent. Jesus die on the cross. It was his plan. In fact the scripture tells us and isaiah fifty three ten. It was the will of the lord to crush him. He has put him degree. Romans eight thirty two. God did not spare his own son but he gave him up for us. All and then over in romans three twenty five. God put christ forward by his blood to be received by faith. And i see a fifty three ten yet. It pleases the father. Bruce him he is. Put him to that please. The father to bruce him. How could the father be pleased by. The death of his son. Only wasn't pleased by his death in particular. He wasn't pleased by the suffering. He wasn't pleased by the pain. Christ's went to. The father was pleased by the redemption. That was accomplished. He was pleased that the eternal plan of salvation was now fulfilled. He was pleased that the sacrifice of his son was complete and many of us can now believe in him for all the evil in the crucifixion. It brought about an infinite good.

Archbishop of Canterbury says Church needs to reconsider portraying Jesus as white

"I WANNA. Do a follow up a little bit on. Something that we've talked about. A couple of weeks now on the show or at least come up and then we kind of really addressed it. And that's the idea of like white Jesus right why Jesus Jesus so this is an ongoing saga. of people rightfully pointing out the fact that the European and North American version of Jesus is. Racist. Wrong. It's wrong, and it's an an and it's. Definitely leads to sort of this white supremacy sort of thing right because like. Devoid surpremacy leading-edge. Yeah absolutely well. As? The arch. Bitch Bishop of Canterbury one Mr Justin Welby He's the head of the Church of England of course He was on the BBC. BBC Radio Four. And he was asked about what he thought about the Western image of Jesus, and maybe if it should be reimagined. And goes sure, yes, of course, it does right. And he, which I guess probably is not all that surprising. When you know a few things about you know Church of England, but he goes on. He says that he has seen Jesus portrayed in different countries during his travels. You go into their churches, and you don't see a white Jesus you see a black Jesus or Chinese, Jesus or Middle Eastern Jesus, which is of course, the most accurate. you see Jian Jesus you see Jesus portrayed as many ways as there are cultures languages. An understanding's is what he says. Okay, and so I've never seen a Figi Jesus. Will. Have you ever been to Fiji? I have a feeling he might have been. Sure why not but nonetheless the? This caused a little bit of a stir in the UK, you know. People are going to disagree with any sort of thing. Anyway. He was denounced by all sorts of types I'm sure they're conservative types, or whatever right, but one of the things. That I think this raises. Is. It kind of a question of if you know. If you can create your God basically in your own image, right? Right like what? What does it matter? Doesn't that just backup the whole thing that you are creating your God own image? Always you're. You're like like right, so it's just made manifest this thing that people already already do and it's just so just so happens it. It's little problematic. Extra problematic perhaps with white people. Really to think we're the best you know. It's just so funny it's just like I. If you are unwilling to just go with the historical guy that you're pretending is, the is the reason for your whole religion like there's this. That you're super into. He's your, do yeah. If. You can't just go with him right. then. You're making it up. You're admitting that you're making it up. So I think you got a bit of a problem there. Guys let him be Middle Eastern what's the problem? You know what he looked like. We all know if you if I showed you twenty two pictures of. dudes from different parts of the world, said point to the guys that might be Middle Eastern. You're probably going to get it right. Yeah as four you know. Which one of these do you think Jesus actually looked like? ooh, that's. Why is that so hard? That, why is that so hard?

Healthy Disciple-Making Churches

"Does a healthy disciple making church Look like And that's we're we're GONNA talk about today and it's funny because I had a discussion with a guy On instagram awhile. Back and he was like hey kind of frustrated with where he was in his church. And he's like I've been at this church a long time but I just feel like I'm not growing. I feel like the church. Leadership is holding me back from using spiritual gifts and and Some of the things that he was kind of questioning to leave. Do I stay. And that's always a hard question to ask so I'm going to start to sing Donte. I'll tell you this is something I learned from for What's his name Tom Ranier and we went through this and we planted a church? But how do you. How do you determine what a healthy churches and then Donte you can dive in. We'll talk about not only. How do we a healthy church? But how are we a disciple making church. And what is the discipleship Look Lake In a church so I'm going to start off with just five quick things. I'll tell you when you were looking at any church have to realize that the church has one head and that head is Jesus Christ You can go go to Fiji's one twenty two twenty three or First Corinthians twelve twenty seven to see that okay number two. The church has to authorities the word of God and the Holy Spirit K.. Go to second timothy three sixteen and Seventeen or John Fourteen twenty Twenty six to see that the church has basically three servants. And I would say I would call that. You have your elders and have you deacons And you have your what they call priests which is really every believer so elders and deacons guitarist about an axe fourteen in first timothy. Another big one in Titus And then we talk about the the servant as every believer as a pre story Doer of the word to spread the Gospel in First Peter two nine. Revelations one six and fusions for eleven now we're talking about what is a healthy church look like I think there's four marks of a healthy church search you have a church that has to be self-governing and has to be self supporting. It has be self reproducing in has to be self correcting okay. And then I would say there were five functions when we look at a church and these five functions can be you can look at them from Matthew Twenty to thirty seven Also in Matthew Twenty eight eighteen in the book of acts in book two but five functions of a church we're worshiping abiding expressing love towards God were involved in evangelism vandalism were engaging region loss involved in discipleship which. We're going to talk a lot more about. That's helping believers grow into Christ's likeness in the process of sanctification and then Search health and multiplication developing sustainable. Christ centered or Chrysler communities and also reaching loss and then multiplying leaders equipping leaders leaders who can equip other leaders who then equipped leaders and multiply and so forth and so forth and loving God and people through character knowledge and practice So that's that's what I kinda lay out. And that's what I learned or the five elements of a healthy church Donte what's your take on this and I know you're GonNa talk about the Road Dumais. You may us. But what is What a scripture tells about this? Yeah I I mean we'll cover acts eleven in a moment to but like if God truly wanted the download you know to us you. What discipleship is an understanding? The Authority of the word you know two disciples after the crucifixion were saddened they were trodden and and they were walking from From you're on the Road Mayson as they're walking on the road to me at ten mile walk you know all of a sudden Jesus Jesus shows it up he hides his his identity from them and then he begins to explain to them why you know from scripture from new why we had to have Masai Y Messiah had to be crucified. Invite why the Messiah Rose again any opened their hearts you know. In a way that was less than ten miles a six mile walk ten kilometer walk to the point art work by the time they were done walking with his men their hearts were burning and understanding and and totally gravitating toward the word of God and not only the word word of God. The very word that was in front of them and not asking him to leave but to stay with them and Lo and behold before he departed Jesus at his you know he revealed old whose true identity to them and their hearts were burning for for God's true so that was a model of Jesus just showing us his awesomeness that if he just wanted us to just wake up one day and have him download discipleship and download truth and the and the understanding of the word. He could easily done that.

Woolly Mammoth cells 28,000 years-old reactivated by science

"It have. We not learned anything from Jurassic Park. A team of Japanese scientist is attempting to bring back the long extinct, you guessed it, Ernie woolly mammoth the animal has been extinct for nearly four thousand years. I thought it was longer than that. But the scientists have emerged to extract the cells of a twenty eight thousand year old mammoth and transport them into a mouse, the cells show signs of life. We're gonna have a woolly mouse. Here we go. The cells were taken from a mammoth that scientists call Yuka would have been seven at the time of her death. Okay. Her carcass was in pretty good shape. And they found it in Siberia back in two thousand ten now. You may be asking Ernie rightly so how soon until we start seeing these hairy beasts in our woods. It's only going to be a matter of time before we see him over in Waco. Oh, sure, they say could be quite a while. While the cells took to the mouse eggs, the cells divide to create anything like a fetus. But it did prove that science. It did prove to scientists that they could reawaken cells isn't a Willie ma'am at the size of an elephant speaker is even bigger than the elephant much planting this what did they think how big do? They think the uterus of the mouse is gonna ho- how big is this thing gonna have to know the science behind this. But it will be fascinated. The I want to be there for the discussion of where do we put them? Do. We put them exactly where they were. Yeah. We put them in Madison Wisconsin or wherever the heck large populations of them were found dead or do we just like, well, we got to put them in Montana and do they have to be in cold climates? Do they have to the plane in Texas? Well, Waco, actually does have a giant mammoth? Sanctuary study dig whatever you wanna call it. But that was four thousand years ago. I imagine the weather was much colder. No, no, no science on that has been settled. I don't know the science of the weather twenty eight thousand four thousand years ago. Neither does anyone else. Unfortunately, they settled the science. So if so we have to unleash and Canada, I candidate deal with it. I would suggest this that if you're going to rebuild the woolly mammoth, which are you in on. I know I think you are weak. You shouldn't be I think, hey, you had your day it came and went you're gone. Didn't is man to blame for them not being around. And you know, no man is not to blame Jesus Jesus. That's right. You had your shot you blew it. You sat around drinking beer watching TV all day. You got fat all of you had heart attacks, you're gone. It's done. So I don't want these things coming back. But if you're gonna bring them back, I would like you to modify the genes to where we smaller version. Yeah, they're the size lapdog. Yeah. They could be the size of a lapdog, and they're domesticated because I'll be happy to have a woolly mammoth at the house a little horns. Yeah. Tiny little horns, it's really adorable or you trick them out to be like those Ali fonts Lord of the rings that have long horn. I like that. Yeah. Something something like that since we're really tricky since we're playing the part of Jesus here. Let's go ahead. And trick these suckers up when they come back or just here's a better idea. Let's cross him. So when they come back, they have mink coats, look, really, really snazzy, nightlife. Yeah. Really soft. You can sleep around with them. Chinchilla? Yeah. Exactly beautiful. Now. I don't like the idea of see I'm all about it. Are you? I when I die. I'm figuring unless something kills mega tell about ninety. Okay. I think by ninety we'll have it figured out. And if I could see a willy mammoth for die man, that'd be great. But what if a kick ass, but here's the problem if they can do that. Then eventually they can bring you back and then you'll see the woolly mammoth in life number two. Nobody's gonna wanna do that. No guy. They don't bring back. The key had his shot. Kind of like how you talk about it. You had your shot you blew it. Let's
