Surprised, I think all of us are that we're sitting here talking about the final group stage game from the United States and Giovanni Reina has had very little to do with anything. And even Brendan aronson to a certain extent hasn't played as much as everyone and I'm not sitting here Tony that politic orea haven't been good, but through the middle, the number 9 position has been a real problem for the United States and in particular under Greg burr Holter in his tenure. And there was a lot of scuttlebutt about whether or not Ricardo peppy should have gone or whatnot, but he didn't score a goal for over 14 months. Against Morocco and the friendly that we did on ESPN, I suggested the idea that Timothy way through the middle, but against Iran, there's not a ton of space in behind, so that doesn't work, but I think you've got to get more players between the ears that are very competent in finding spaces combining and trying to create space both with and without the ball. So why not have politics through the middle and raina and aronson and even others running off of them way or may not be valuable in this game because there's not gonna be a ton of space, he may be more valuable coming off the bench if the United States scored the first goal then Iran knows they need to chase the game and then spades opens up. I think Greg's gotta be a little bit more creative with his front four or 5 attacking spaces and I think it's playing a false night through the middle right now if you ask me, I'm telling you I think it's gotta be Christian Pulisic, but I don't think he's gonna do so. What would you do Casey? Yeah, it is, it's one of those conundrums, right? Because I'm not a big fan of just changing for the sake of changing. I like stability and a lineup. They went very stable without having to make changes. Obviously, a lot of it will depend on what the last three days of rehab looked like for everybody. We knew that guys coming in didn't have a lot of match fitness. We know that they're going to need to up those energy levels again. We also know that it's in Iran's side as Taylor mentioned, feel comfortable in a low block. They feel comfortable also waiting for a team to overexpose themselves and then hit on the counter. So not only do you have to be careful with bringing in 5 or 6 really offensive minded players who are thinking got to get a goal. Got to get a goal. Let's keep going at them. And then having that moment where you're unbalanced, to hit on the counter. And when you've had 70% possession, you find yourself a goal down. And now you're really chasing it because you got to get two goals to get yourself back in the game. So yeah, Greg has to really make sure that he comes into the game with a level of stability and then as you all have mentioned, Taylor have mentioned there are options to come off the bench to be able to change it if need be to be more attack minded. If I need to score goals, and I'm the manager of this team, I look at what's available, and I pick the players who I think not only are the most talented, but who have the most ability to create in tight spaces. So then, if that's my criteria, that's my criteria. It may not be bear holders, but it's my criteria in this game. And the challenge is that Iran present. There is no chance that if the arena is healthy, fit and ready to go that he's not on the field for me. Because he's one of the few players in this squad when you look at the talent personnel, it's one of the few players in this that can get on those spaces. He likes to run him behind. He has that kind of ability, but he also can get in between lines and he's strong enough and skill enough to where he can withstand a challenge turn and go at a defender. And when he does that, guess who frees up? It frees up Chris and pulisic because he's going to track attention to him and then pull is becomes a guy who's an outlet. If politic attracts attention, now you have the arena and he's an outlet. But now you don't have that. So far, what you've had is they've addressed political address on the team where and then down the middle there is no threat. So we don't even have to address that. "Zero at Wembley. I Casey, including Ethan horvath, why don't you give us your depth chart in goal for the U.S. right now as we stand what 6 months away from the World Cup? Yeah, that's the tricky dip chart, right? Because you're really looking at right now Matt Turner's playing for New England, but obviously there's that he's supposed to be going to arsenal, you know, like anything. He always, you hear he's going, but until it actually happens, you're always kind of waiting until that, but you don't expect him to be playing a whole lot at that stage. We know that Zach Stefan is not going to be beating out Edison anytime soon. Ethan horvath wasn't playing in the championship. So I find it interesting that they would put them in as the starting goalkeeper in the Premier League. So yeah, there's the depth chart is interesting because then you're going to, you know, like I said, Sean got called in and Shawn's been a good steady goalkeeper MLS for a long time. You're looking at Bill Hamid that's been into a bunch of camps. You know, there's been some shout for. Different players, Steph fry, for example, in the success that he's had at sounders that maybe get an opportunity at 36 with no real international experience. So yeah, the depth chart is interesting and it's something that the U.S. hasn't had to deal with for a while. And I think that's what's probably scaring people more than anything is that this just hasn't been a problem for the men's national team for 20, 30 years. I didn't hear Gaga in there. Yeah, okay. That's what it is though. It's exactly what it is. I mean, think about this. You're naming off players and to their own right. They're very good goalkeepers, but it's never been a situation that U.S. men's national team has had to deal with. I mean, never, never. This is the first time where there's a controversy for not the right reasons before it was Casey Keller Brad friedel. You know, that was like both of these guys are playing at a high level. Who do we go with? And there was that type of war between the players, that type of competition. Now it's like, this one's not playing. That one had an error here. It's not for the right reasons. And I think that's what freaks out a lot of fans. Just to be clear, you got Stefan at the top of the depth chart right now, right? Like if you had to pick who's going to be the starter and Qatar, you think it'll be Zack Stefan. He's the leader in the Clubhouse. It looks that way. I mean, that's what, but I think what's interesting with having to pull out of these four games because that's the point we were making in that first conversation is yes, probably at this stage because of the way Greg instilled him back as the starter during qualifying. And he did find, you know, there wasn't anything where you really went that it was really bad, but there also wasn't anything that you went, okay, this significantly solidifies him as the starter, but now not playing. And if Matt Turner can do what he did to her point when he had the opportunity in that gold cup, then the doors all the way back open. And then the question mark will be is going into the World Cup is anybody playing? Is anybody playing enough games where that actually matters? Or is it going to be a case of, we're going to get into camp and we're just going to have to go with who we have a gut feeling is going to do the best for us. Then we got to talk real quick about horvath is it's been a lot of years since he's been out and out starter at any club he's been at. So I think that'll be the interesting thing if not even for us.
