"To advance Iran three to one a drawer. Of course, it should be good for Iran as well. 12 to 5 for more on this, it's like somebody who loves the literature will love who we have on now because it's tailored to our Casey Keller to look ahead to this game. Casey, how are you feeling? Yeah, I feel pretty good. You know, I think it's a great progression from the second half in the Wales game to what we saw in the energy levels in the England game. So I think that gives a lot of people a lot of hope that the U.S. can then take it one step further and see this game out. Yes. It seems like all the stuff off the field seems to be building. There was the issue with Klinsmann in kiro, the other day, and then the flag issue, and then the crazy press conference and the questions that were asked Greg and Tyler Adams. So yeah, it seems like whatever they can do to wind this game up a little bit more seems to be happening, but in the end, it's really just two groups of players who understand that they need to perform on the day to get a result to go through in the World Cup. Yeah, the geopolitical stuff aside just just go perform and that's what I want from the U.S. team just to make sure that you have a good group of players in the right mentality who are ready for what such a big game and just to make sure that you perform on the day. And in that performance, if they want to go through, they have to score Taylor, who's up top for you. How do you line this side up to get the best out of this U.S. squad? Surprised, I think all of us are that we're sitting here talking about the final group stage game from the United States and Giovanni Reina has had very little to do with anything. And even Brendan aronson to a certain extent hasn't played as much as everyone and I'm not sitting here Tony that politic orea haven't been good, but through the middle, the number 9 position has been a real problem for the United States and in particular under Greg burr Holter in his tenure. And there was a lot of scuttlebutt about whether or not Ricardo peppy should have gone or whatnot, but he didn't score a goal for over 14 months. There is not a single player for the United States in that 9 position that has scored goals regularly and so the first gave me went with sergeant, the second one he went with right, I'd be stun if he doesn't go with Jesus Ferreira because it seems like right now that Greg berhalter's looking at his squad and say, you know what? I'm gonna throw the chips in the air and see what lands in seeing that. I think you've gotta be a little different here because Iran's gonna sit in defend. Carlos kiro she's gonna sit in and say, go ahead, try to break us down, and that is the one thing where Greg berhalter throughout the entire World Cup qualifying and Concacaf, they struggled to break down teams that sat in a low block. So Jesus Ferrero gives them a little bit more nuance, but if you're not playing Brendan aaronson from the start and Giovanni reign is not coming in at halftime, if you're scoreless, then honestly, Dan, I don't know what we're doing because quite honestly, your best players are the 5 or 6 players in the midfield and if you need to take a center for it off to get your best players on the field that gives you the most odds of scoring a goal and right now they haven't looked that dangerous even though they played well against England. So how could you work it, Taylor, could you have almost an aronson pulisic, Jerry reyna three floating in as a false 9? Is that an answer maybe to what we're looking for here? Because you're saying equality upfront from Iran's side that's going to be sitting in. Yeah, I mean, you could play pulisic through the middle because at times, even though he hasn't played well there, he's played that position for Chelsea. And this is against the low block. Against Morocco and the friendly that we did on ESPN, I suggested the idea that Timothy way through the middle, but against Iran, there's not a ton of space in behind, so that doesn't work, but I think you've got to get more players between the ears that are very competent in finding spaces combining and trying to create space both with and without the ball. So why not have politics through the middle and raina and aronson and even others running off of them way or may not be valuable in this game because there's not gonna be a ton of space, he may be more valuable coming off the bench if the United States scored the first goal then Iran knows they need to chase the game and then spades opens up. I think Greg's gotta be a little bit more creative with his front four or 5 attacking spaces and I think it's playing a false night through the middle right now if you ask me, I'm telling you I think it's gotta be Christian Pulisic, but I don't think he's gonna do so. What would you do Casey? Yeah, it is, it's one of those conundrums, right? Because I'm not a big fan of just changing for the sake of changing. I like stability and a lineup. They went very stable without having to make changes. Obviously, a lot of it will depend on what the last three days of rehab looked like for everybody. We knew that guys coming in didn't have a lot of match fitness. We know that they're going to need to up those energy levels again. We also know that it's in Iran's side as Taylor mentioned, feel comfortable in a low block. They feel comfortable also waiting for a team to overexpose themselves and then hit on the counter. So not only do you have to be careful with bringing in 5 or 6 really offensive minded players who are thinking got to get a goal. Got to get a goal. Let's keep going at them. And then having that moment where you're unbalanced, to hit on the counter. And when you've had 70% possession, you find yourself a goal down. And now you're really chasing it because you got to get two goals to get yourself back in the game. So yeah, Greg has to really make sure that he comes into the game with a level of stability and then as you all have mentioned, Taylor have mentioned there are options to come off the bench to be able to change it if need be to be more attack minded. Here we go, up top, honey. I'm going to keep it really simple, Dan. If I need to score goals, and I'm the manager of this team, I look at what's available, and I pick the players who I think not only are the most talented, but who have the most ability to create in tight spaces. So then, if that's my criteria, that's my criteria. It may not be bear holders, but it's my criteria in this game. And the challenge is that Iran present. There is no chance that if the arena is healthy, fit and ready to go that he's not on the field for me. Because he's one of the few players in this squad when you look at the talent personnel, it's one of the few players in this that can get on those spaces. He likes to run him behind. He has that kind of ability, but he also can get in between lines and he's strong enough and skill enough to where he can withstand a challenge turn and go at a defender. And when he does that, guess who frees up? It frees up Chris and pulisic because he's going to track attention to him and then pull is becomes a guy who's an outlet. If politic attracts attention, now you have the arena and he's an outlet. But now you don't have that. So far, what you've had is they've addressed political address on the team where and then down the middle there is no threat. So we don't even have to address that. So defensively, again, it's a whole lot easier to defend if you just have a guy who's not going to give you a whole lot of productivity. Whoever that guy maybe had you write and company. So for

"I'm going to go ask the Dallas. I'm going to go FC Dallas here. And here's why. The old expression tells us, right? Defense wins championships. Out of everybody in the west, outside of LAFC. The team that gives up the fewest goals is FC Dallas, okay? So I think right there, they have a big edge. Not only are they good defensively, they are much better hook than Austin defensively, who shipped three this weekend, three last weekend, and two weeks before that ship four against the New York Red Bulls, right? You gotta be defensively sound herc when it comes to the playoffs. Plus, let's not pretend like FC Dallas doesn't have firepower, right? We got a riola, we got velasco, and we got Jesus Ferrero who had a brace over the weekend and I think is now up to 14 goals on the season. You don't give FC Dallas and he love you really think defenses is that little of a priority come playoff time. No, I just think there are two seasons. There's a regular season, and then there's playoffs. And I've seen FC Dallas in the playoffs throughout their history. It's not a team like trust. Nicolas de you may have changed things. Paul areola, this is feda, everything that Sebastian legit now, who, by the way, backed a couple assists. This weekend, it could be a different team. Sure, but a sale smells like Seattle sounders a bounce them in the playoffs. Okay. Okay, okay. Interesting that you mentioned that. I will note neither of us neither of us picked the LA galaxy as the biggest threat to LA. So let's get to the bad and it is in the Pacific Northwest, where the aforementioned

"He had CCV alongside him and none of this ultimately mattered. It was very evident early on tactics, football, ideas because they vote. The field, I do believe in future generations, in maybe several central you're pouring for yourself, David. I'm calling a little bit of chateau lamotte de O roger, a little cheeky white Bordeaux. The only question is, why just a little bit? Yeah, well, it's actually an entire tumbler. Completely honest. I have so much room to sip sip, which is just guzzling. It's the only way to get through tonight. But I do believe if our children's children's children, this is the solace I take them tonight. When our children telling children, flick through their dictionary, if they still have dictionaries to flick through in like several hundred years time and they look at the word Concacaf, I do believe there will be a photograph of tonight's game they've just a bloodbath in a mud bath that they will find. Was it not just from the off just surreal macabre squid games ridiculousness? Okay, the case against and by the way, spoiler alert, there is no case for. There is just a case against. This was an entirely pointless game of football for the U.S. to prepare to go to Qatar for the World Cup. Starting November 14th this year, it doesn't do anything to help Greg understand what's going on with this squad. It doesn't help them prepare whatsoever for the tournament. I don't even know that this helps Concacaf. I don't think it helps relations between the two countries. It doesn't help anything. It just is a terrible game of football played on a terrible pitch that is just, it's humiliating. It's just not. It's just the worst. This is everything I love about Concacaf and every reason why I'd love to see the U.S. find a way to play at least the majority of their games within a different confederation. You know, I have a feeling that there was a method to the madness. I do believe that tonight was Greg's idea when he's 2026 World Cup coach bear with me here. He can choose wherever we want to play in America. And he wants to test out tonight. If I want to play America's group games in a blog for North Carolina, just a clay, the clay there, the clay book, let's see which one is complained about. Does that give you a competitor? I played in Minnesota in -80°. Yes, my players testicles may have dried up of version of, but we got three points. So we're going to think about unique and this is his genius weather patterns. They've got a thing about unique competitive advantages. And tonight, I mean, I think we saw who will step up in 2026. Are we to play it? In hilarious conditions in a mud bath, but you know, think of desert conditions where the World Cup will be played, do pretty well the exact opposite. And we had tonight's game. You thought Bitcoin was in the mud. Did you FOP? This field was in the mud, and it was as if the el salvadorians had asked themselves, how can we neutralize the American's greatest asset? They had national cabinet meetings. How can we neutralize Gregg's tight T-shirt and sneaker game? And I think they said, let's give them conditions that are going to make him not want to wear a bottle. So that was their work. He didn't want to go anywhere near the sideline, roger. Didn't want to even attempt to bounce pass during the game. You wanted to keep his kicks clean. Couldn't do it. He was like, man, StockX are going to be so mad at me. I'm in a mud look like a straight out of the Coen brothers prison break scene and raising Arizona. And first ten minutes, watching the tackle slide in, knowing how injury prone Christian Pulisic has been, which is like, why would you even play this man? This is a risk with zero upside, zero upside to play any of these players. I honestly, I thought in the first half hour, why would you not just forfeit the game? No one was going to be forfeit the whole bloody Nations League and just give the three points to every team you were playing. Play a useful teams in place of what we've just been through. F off Concacaf, F off Nations League, what do we see? First off, had you write, God bless him, scuff the one chance he had. I mean, I'm sure in this game note Greg berhalter wrote Jesus Ferrero would have scored that I think we all know Jesus rail would have blasted it out for a throw in. First goal in 5 games for El Salvador against the U.S. came, what was that goal from the Michael daves? Alexander Lorenz stepper, you beautiful human being, what an incredible, what an incredible moment of football. But how did you understand the el salvadorian girl? Do you know the only thing that was weird about it? Because I think we call that a cras, right, roger, it was a yes. That was my room getting hit. Okay, got it. It was a crass. It was a, it was a cross that became a shot a crot maybe. But it was the way he shaped up his body and the way he shaved his head. It was going to be a terrible cross. Whatever happened with it. And I don't think the cross was going anywhere near any of his forward players at any point. So maybe it was a shot. God, they say you're thinking, it was so bad. It was going to be such a bad cross. I maybe think that that was a shot. I have no idea what he was thinking. It was terrible conditions. He lashed it in, went straight past Ethan hall that's near post. I couldn't say it was a speculative shot for me. I think he meant it an impossible angle. But when you look at it, it was quite incredible. He looked up, he Reggie cannon, God bless him, gave him a lane. I think he looked up. I think he meant every single inch of that. There was actually quite impudent..

"Zero at Wembley. I Casey, including Ethan horvath, why don't you give us your depth chart in goal for the U.S. right now as we stand what 6 months away from the World Cup? Yeah, that's the tricky dip chart, right? Because you're really looking at right now Matt Turner's playing for New England, but obviously there's that he's supposed to be going to arsenal, you know, like anything. He always, you hear he's going, but until it actually happens, you're always kind of waiting until that, but you don't expect him to be playing a whole lot at that stage. We know that Zach Stefan is not going to be beating out Edison anytime soon. Ethan horvath wasn't playing in the championship. So I find it interesting that they would put them in as the starting goalkeeper in the Premier League. So yeah, there's the depth chart is interesting because then you're going to, you know, like I said, Sean got called in and Shawn's been a good steady goalkeeper MLS for a long time. You're looking at Bill Hamid that's been into a bunch of camps. You know, there's been some shout for. Different players, Steph fry, for example, in the success that he's had at sounders that maybe get an opportunity at 36 with no real international experience. So yeah, the depth chart is interesting and it's something that the U.S. hasn't had to deal with for a while. And I think that's what's probably scaring people more than anything is that this just hasn't been a problem for the men's national team for 20, 30 years. I didn't hear Gaga in there. Yeah, okay. That's what it is though. It's exactly what it is. I mean, think about this. You're naming off players and to their own right. They're very good goalkeepers, but it's never been a situation that U.S. men's national team has had to deal with. I mean, never, never. This is the first time where there's a controversy for not the right reasons before it was Casey Keller Brad friedel. You know, that was like both of these guys are playing at a high level. Who do we go with? And there was that type of war between the players, that type of competition. Now it's like, this one's not playing. That one had an error here. It's not for the right reasons. And I think that's what freaks out a lot of fans. Just to be clear, you got Stefan at the top of the depth chart right now, right? Like if you had to pick who's going to be the starter and Qatar, you think it'll be Zack Stefan. He's the leader in the Clubhouse. It looks that way. I mean, that's what, but I think what's interesting with having to pull out of these four games because that's the point we were making in that first conversation is yes, probably at this stage because of the way Greg instilled him back as the starter during qualifying. And he did find, you know, there wasn't anything where you really went that it was really bad, but there also wasn't anything that you went, okay, this significantly solidifies him as the starter, but now not playing. And if Matt Turner can do what he did to her point when he had the opportunity in that gold cup, then the doors all the way back open. And then the question mark will be is going into the World Cup is anybody playing? Is anybody playing enough games where that actually matters? Or is it going to be a case of, we're going to get into camp and we're just going to have to go with who we have a gut feeling is going to do the best for us. If Zach Stephan doesn't make a move, Ethan horvath might be your leader in the Clubhouse, right? Because samba the goalie for Nottingham force he's been linked to like half the Premier League. So if even horvath goes into next season as a starter for Premier League team, suddenly he's playing and her key would have a huge advantage over everybody else in any depth chart. I think so. I mean, I don't even think it, I know we've got this discussion, but think about Matt Turner's plane right now. Have you heard any thing particularly good about Matt Turner and his play with the New England revolution? Today, that's not been the case, so to Casey's point, it's about going with your gut, and if he's the only one playing at a high level, the Premier League gets de facto. Then we got to talk real quick about horvath is it's been a lot of years since he's been out and out starter at any club he's been at. So I think that'll be the interesting thing if not even for us. If he does get the opportunity or not, or if the first choice goalkeeper leaves, they sign somebody else. All right guys, so we do have the United States against Morocco. First of these four games for Greg berhalter's team coming up Wednesday. Let's give folks a reason to watch, right? We got a lot of positions, maybe spots in the lineup that are up for grabs. Casey, as we head into these four games, which spot in the starting line of do you think is most up for grabs? And I guess we could probably leave goalies aside, right? Because we've given them a lot of life. We've talked about that a little bit. But look, what's been the biggest conversation this whole time? All through before qualifying even started. There's no true number 9. There's no guy that is, you say, okay, there's a striker scoring goals at a high level somewhere. Look, it's nice that Jesus Ferrero is scoring some goals this.

"Tanner testman for about four to Serie A and then Reggie cannon for whatever it is that Bowie beast eventually be milked of. That's over $30 million in transfer fees for FC Dallas. There was a lot of talk about what they do next and how they handle this. I mean, first of all, congratulations to FC Dallas as a club as an academy as a soccer entity for producing players of this quality and then moving them on. You have to start with that. But there is a lot of talk now about what happens next. One of the things that's happened next is that Jesus Ferrero has signed a DP deal, reportedly for around $2 million a year. So if C Dallas is, I think you tweeted Doyle, not to steal it from you. That was the same thing we're gonna make your dreams come true in Europe and you're gonna be rich. Are you gonna be rich right here if you're good enough? Yeah. That's pretty good. That's pretty good, but there's still a missing part that we talk about on this show all the time, which is, you know, getting the other DP signings right, getting Tam right, building a team that can win MLS cup. What now? Should the expectations on FC Dallas be raised? Yeah, sure. Andrea is the notes, I think, obviously was brought in to help create this selling market, which has been a huge success as you rattled off those numbers. But remember the reg you canon deal of huge rays, but we'll sell you. We're almost forcing ourselves to sell you. And I think the way Dallas has structured these contracts. And I think Jesus rare should be included in that list of they produce the DP homegrown. No one else is really doing that and obviously if packs and comical is healthy, there could be other players Dante series on loan at PSV. There's more to this. Chris Richards, Justin che, whatever it is. Justin Trudeau..
